haikyuu men as househusbands. or haikyuu men who’d be good househusbands in general.

he is the one who keeps track of finance in the house , keeps track of how much you should spend even if you get a six-sum salary and love spending it on him even if he doesn't like it because he wants you to save for the future.

he also pretty much cooks all sorts of dishes and morning tea made by him is served to you in bed , he is just the best. buys groceries when you're out to work , keeps the house neat and clean — it's a penthouse so it's not much work as it's not that dirty all the time — keeps track of your health and if you're pretty much not skipping breakfast or lunch cuz he's there to spoon feed you at dinner.

he's not much fan of laundry just knows he has to fold it and keep it neatly in your shared closet and is pretty much a the best husband of all ( according to your mother ).

he is that type of house-husband who actually takes care of the loundry more than cooking and cleaning but still cleans the house just the way you like it — organized and neatly done. he doesn't step in the kitchen for he knows he might burn whatever he cooks so you don't let him step in there , it's either you come home and cook but if your tired , it's take out time!

whenever he does laundry he has a habit of smelling the clothes before folding for he like the smell of the detergent you use and the clothing softener should be if the best company because that is kinda professional when you go to work wearing soft and clean clothes.

dusts around the house with music playing in the background and does all the cleaning while blasting Oliva Rodrigo on the amazon echo you brought so he won't have to go on connecting his phone to the Bluetooth other than that he is just the best husband you could ask for.

he is the package , can cook , cleans , does laundry , keeps track of all budgets and savings , knows every nook and cranny of the house and is happy being a house-husband for you. kita buys the best clothing softener and detergent , is a man of his words for if he promises breakfast in bed for you then you get it.

he sets up the house according to a taste that suits him and you like almsot all the time after seeing it on pinterest — yes HE HAS PINTEREST and you can't change my mind — cooks the best meals like you're in heaven to be eating such delicious meals , laundry is done and the house smells like lavander and you don't know how he does that and he keep it a secret ( it's just him using scented house cleaning stuff ).

grocery shopping is done with you because it's to lonely for him to go out so it's shopping time on the weekends , he is like a stay at home mum but you love him and for god sake who wouldn't want a man like KITA SHINSUKE.

you enter the house with the smell of the most delicious food being cooked and when I say delicious , it's over the top delicious. he loves cooking so much that he forgets he has to clean as well and do laundry. yamaguchi almost does everything before stepping into the kitchen and prepare a bento for you in the early morning with starting to think for dinner — even though lunch is not even thought out yet — and what to be baked when your home.

it may not seem like but he has a passion for baking good for you.

he blasts playlist made for him by you and tsukki , and does the cleaning and laundry because sometimes it's to lonely in the house , he keeps track of time and when you're gonna come so he could prepare a bubble bath and then start with the cooking so you could have been relaxed and come eat with him.

when it's a weekend , he wakes up late but the breakfast is in his hands to be cooked , and in the evening it's time for him and you to have a baking session and you cherish this baby more than anything.

Hinata points at the student who was speaking to one of their classmates in the hall. Kageyama's eyes instantly glue on them, and Hinata makes a face.

“Kageyama, they’re not going anywhere.” He says, but the tall one doesn’t respond. “Oh god.” Hinata shakes his head, then nudges his arm. “Kageyama.” “Ugh, what?” Kageyama doesn’t look away. “Ask them what their name is.” Finally, Kageyama looks away, but he’s staring with fear at Hinata. “No way.” “Why not?"

His cheeks flush pink. “B-Because.” Hinata smirks, “What’s this? The King is nervous?” “Didn’t I tell you to stop calling me that?” Kageyama responds coldly, only making Hinata smirk more. “Not until you ask what their name is."

Kageyama grumbles and stares back at the student. The more he stares, the more he wants to shit himself. “Wow, it’s true; the king is drooling.” Kageyamas snaps his head behind him, and it's Tsukishima, with Yamaguchi tagging along like always.

“Shut up!” Kageyama screeches. “He’s supposed to be asking what their name is.” Hinata says. Yamaguchi chuckles. “And how’s that going?” “Not good.” Hinata sighs and glares at his partner. Kageyama sneers. “Guess someone is pussy.” Tsukishima comments, which pisses Kageyama off even more. “Watch! I can do it!"

Kageyama, who developed a sudden confidence boost, marches his way to his crush. He taps their shoulder, and the person turns around. They notice who he is and smile warmly. “Hello, Kageyama.” Upon hearing their voice, Kageyama freezes.

“Is there something I can help you with?” They ask with a head tilt. Kageyama stutters, and he starts feeling a bit sweaty. “Kageyama?” They notice his friends in the background, and they look at him again. “Is this about volleyball? Do you need me to do something for you?"

Kageyama opened his mouth, but nothing came out. His crush and the other person that he forgot is also there; they just stared at him.

“He’s embarrassing himself.” Yamaguchi says, and Hinata sighs, “Damn.” The short one heads his way to Kageyama and grabs his arm. “Sorry about him. He was just wondering if there was any assembly today.” He chuckles, and the student giggles. “No worries. To answer your question, no, there isn’t.” “Good to know.”

He drags Kageyama back until the student says, “See you later, Kageyama.” Kageyama looks back, and they wave at him before going back to talk to the person they were working with. “Stop drooling, Kageyama.” “I-IM NOT!”

"w-well, this is, uh... hah, it's... quite a surprise..." the freckled, olive-haired boy murmured with a smile, the corners of his lips shaking as you gazed up at him with widened eyes. he couldn't take his own eyes off you, not only because of how adorable you look so close to him, but because if he looked at his seniors' faces now, he just knew he'd be encouraged to carry on the mistletoe tradition, all for wanting to help you get more towels for the team after their practice.

nishinoya and tanaka were very supportive seniors, after all; they knew yamaguchi was a boy you found cute for quite a while, so they encouraged you not to be afraid, it's just a kiss, is all... right?

yamaguchi dared not to move as the team gathered around you both, with hinata not really sure of why yamaguchi was so reluctant to leave. tsukishima, as always, explained the tradition of being under the mistletoe to him and kageyama. "basically, yamaguchi needs to kiss them, or else..." "o-or else what? a ghost will remain in the closet?!" "or an evil spirit that will make us lose the next matches?!"

tsukishima found their ignorance regarding this tradition laughable. "no, actually, nothing will happen–apart from noya and tanaka most probably teasing yamaguchi about it, but oh well, so is life," the blonde explained, looking at yamaguchi with a straight face, while the latter was absolutely terrified.

"we... don't have to kiss if you don't want to, yamaguchi..." "i-it's not that, i-i... i... kind of don't mind y'know, i-i just... i'd like to... do it in private," the boy stuttered, getting shier and shier with every word he spoke. "o-only if you want to, of course!" yamaguchi stammered, awkwardly chuckling as you stared at him, making his brain go haywire.

you eventually agreed, and, closing the closet door–you leaned against yamaguchi; your hands gently wrapped around his, your eyes looking up into his own. "are you ready?" you asked him in a whisper. yamaguchi's entire face was like a strawberry right now, he was red and spotted with his darling freckles, but being in the dark made it hard for you to notice.

"i've... never actually kissed anyone else... s-so..." "that's okay," you reassure him, placing your hand on his cheek. "i'll show you..." you muttered, leaning closer to him. yamaguchi's eyes shone with adoration for you, and he nodded; you could tell in a way that this boy was excited for your kiss, even if it made him incredibly flustered.

with that, you pressed your lips against his softly, and against your kiss, he let out a soft noise–a noise letting you know that this kiss... was more than he could ever ask for, was perfect, beyond perfect.

after the kiss, nishinoya, tanaka, and surprisingly, sugawara were frustrated they didn't get to see you kiss. sugawara was late to the party and didn't even know you two were in the closet kissing for a short while until ennoshita gave him a rundown of the events at hand; of course, mama sugawara is very supportive of his children's romantic affairs, so long as it was contained.

"so... how'd it go?" the gray haired senior asked you both, with you smiling and holding yamaguchi's hand, leaning your head against his shoulder, making the boy jolt up and get red all over again. "...was perfect..." yamaguchi mumbled out, melting into a puddle in his mind as you made him feel all giddy, with butterflies in his chest at the feeling and realization that he kissed you–or more like, you kissed him, and it couldn't be any better.

This boy had a nightmare, he saw you with another man, you were laughing and flirting, when he wake up he made a mental note to confront you about this, he couldn't believe you would cheat on him, but there is a little problem....

Soon as he wakes up he texts you, he's still half asleep but this is urgent, you know? "We have to talk" He forgets about the text, soon he walks towards you looking quite annoyed, he takes your hand and drags you somewhere private "I love you too much, I can't believe you could be capable of doing such thing" after a few moments he notices your face going red and when he ask what's the matter you tell him you guys are not dating, his face goes bright red and he is a stuttering mess, you had to help him to calm down

Kyotani, Daichi, Sugawara, Yamaguchi, Goshiki, Aran, Osamu

This boy is hurt, couldn't believe, he confronts you immediately, he needs answers now, doesn't really care it's 3.15am, he doesn't waste time, he calls you, your voice is soft and sleepy, he gets distracted because you sound very cute, so he clears his throat and demands answers "I have been in love with you since we met, How could you cheat on me?" He heard your confused voice and when you ask when did you both start dating and he ended the call, this guy can't look at your face the next day

Iwaizumi, Kageyama, Yamamoto, Yaku, Satori, Suna

This guy gets depressed, he can't help but sulk in the bed, next day he sulks on his spot, when you saw him not being his usual self you try to comfort him, he gives you the most devastated puppy face ever and his voice is really soft and broken "how can I make you love me again?" Yes, makes your heart throb and you reassure this boy how much you love him, but when he ask why did you cheat on him you tell him you're not dating "yet" his mood changes fast and asks you out on the spot!

Hinata, Nishinoya, Tanaka, Lev, Bokuto

Drama king takes the most dangerous route of this relationship, this guy is plotting revenge, he's going to cheat on you because he's petty but.... after some evaluations he decides to speak with you as a civilized human being, he's straight forward and soon as he steps in your line of vision feels like a movie, he lifts your face and looks straight to your eyes "am I not enough for you? Why would you cheat on me like that? Haven't I loved you enough?" Your face goes red, stuttering you tell him you're not dating, he wants to hide from you forever

Oikawa, Kuroo, Semi, Atsumu, Terushima

This guy knows you're not dating yet, when he wakes up he felt sad a bit about 2 minutes but doesn't do anything yet, he starts to plan how to confess, starts to look up for cute ideas or even in wikihow because he's clueless, as last resort he will ask someone else...
