Wanted to try my hand at designing some slightly older duck kiddos!!! Headcanons and insane ramblings under the cut:

I designed these to be around 14-15, so early high school age (y'know in a hypothetical scenario where they actually end up going to high school). I imagine they still adventure with Scrooge and the fam, just moreso on the weekends (cut to Huey on the floor of the Sunchaser frantically trying to finish his biology homework while they're being shot at by sky pirates). Donald and Della are also both a part of the school PTA. Nobody else in the PTA is happy about this. Now for individual headcanons:

Huey:

Straight A student that's kinda neurotic about his grades, will freak out if any of them drop to a B.

I like to think of his hat as his comfort item so he still has the same one and if it was up to me he would also wear it to adulthood. even if a grown ass man in a lil baseball cap looks silly.

He's sooo mad about Dewey being taller than him lol.

Dewey:

Solid B student with the occasional C.

Couldn't join the drama club and the basketball team at the same time so he chose the drama club (the actual reason is that he tried out for the basketball team and didn't make it but he won't admit that). He still likes to carry around a basketball and practice on the court by himself.

Grows cheek fluff like the others he just cuts his off out of insecurity.

He's the tallest.

Louie:

Has pretty shitty grades, not because he's not smart, but because he doesn't really try (I mean, kid already has it made, why bother?).

Still wears the same green hoodie every day like he did as a kid but this time it's a little bit bigger and baggier. Does he wear the same clothes underneath too???? We will never know.

He's the shortest.

Webby:

Also a straight A student like Huey but seemingly puts in way less effort than him (which bothers Huey greatly).

Has to carry all her supplies in her arms because she's not allowed to bring a bag to school anymore (she kept trying to bring weapons in. Not because she planned on using them, but because you can never be too prepared.)

In at least 5 different clubs, probably started like 3 of them.

My Random Ducktales Headcanons!!!

this is another post where… no one asked for this. but my past Ducktales post did good so I give the people what they want

(I crave the validation of others)

I also sprinkled in goofy screenshots for a little bit of extra seasoning

Dewey like… ate rocks as a kid. just for fun

Huey told Dewey that Dodos ate rocks and Dewey internalized this, thus, Huey is responsible for Dewey eating rocks

Donald had a panic attack when he saw his nephew (that he is a legal guardian for) wolf down like… three rocks at one time for the plot

Louie had a collection of various historical coins (they’re his special interest)

Donald regularly has nightmares about being attacked and killed by a bear (same bro)

Dewey taught Webby the words “rizz” “gyat” and “skibidi toilet” and it became everyone’s problem

this lead to Scrooge exclaiming that “he does not have any rizz” (this is a lie, he is rizz lord incarnate)

Mrs. Beakley is a Pintrest Board Mom™️

she also can’t cook. she just has an assortment of Pinterest recipes that everyone despises but eats so she doesn’t feel bad

Storkules has beaten up Andrew Tate. Mixed martial arts? more like mixed Greek salad served by a hunky demigod.

Storkules is also a feminist. that’s not a headcanon, tho, that’s a fact.

so is Launchpad. fight me on this.

Launchpad and Storkules are also besties. they’re both himbos with too much game.

Launchpad has illegally smuggled contraband into the country before. whether it was sniffle snacks or an exotic animal we’ll never know, but smuggling is on his transcript.

LP unironically uses the pet name “pookie”. he don’t know what it means but he heard Dewey said and Dewey’s his best friend so that makes it cool

he also has a five step hair care routine

Scrooge regularly pays off several press stations to write wack stories about him because they make him chortle.

Scrooge also uses the term “square”… in daily conversation

one time he called Mágica a “square” and it personally offended her for life, ripped open several wounds, and destroyed her emotional well-being for the rest of her days

Mrs. Beakley’s guilty pleasure is watching trash tv. Real Houseives? yes. Dance Moms? she quotes verbatim. The Bachelor? it’s her personality.

Mrs. Beakley watching these tv shows also got Della invested. now they throw a hissy fit if the other watches ahead of them

Webby cries over Bluey episodes on the daily.

Webby also related immensely to Bingo Heeler— it has awoken feelings in her she preferred to keep hidden

this is less of a headcanon, more of a fact, but Huey, Dewey and Webby (and more Im not thinking about) are so Neurodivergent it’s not even debatable

Della is a gym rat. she just is.

Adult Huey, Dewey and Louie Duck as astronauts as Apolo 11 Crew (Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins) - Space Race - Ducktales 2017 - Ducktales in Space

Since I drew Donald Duck as Yuri Gagarin and Della Duck as Valentina Tereshkova as the first men in space, then the parallel of the first men on the moon could have something to do with Huey, Dewey and Louie from Ducktales 2017. And I drew the three of them as Apollo 11 astronauts who were the first to walk on the moon (allegedly), but here they are no longer children, but adults. I don't usually draw adult Huey, Dewey and Louie, so this is my first time doing it and I did it with the Ducktales 2017 version, but in my own style. Yes, I redraw the poses of astronauts Neil Armstrong, Edwin Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins who led the Apollo 11 crew in the Saturn V rocket from July 16 to July 24, 1969, with July 20 and 21 being Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon and were the first people to walk on the moon and brought great pride to the USA and to all mankind.

And this is where Huey, Dewey and Louie grew up, playing the role of the Apollo 11 crew and who will be the first ducks to walk on the moon. Yes, although they are different, they all together have their tasks in space. Huey as an explorer of new unknown frontiers and a scientist, Dewey as a pilot and coordinator and Louie as a businessman who finances it all, but they are all astronauts together. Like like their mother and like their uncle. And they are in spacesuits (Apollo/Skylab spacesuit) which are mostly white, but I colored some parts according to them.

"Look to the stars my darling baby boys Life is strange and vast Filled with wonders and joys Face each new sun with eyes clear and true Unafraid of the unknown Because I'll face it all with you" - a lullaby from their mother Della Duck.

Also happy belated birthday to Huey, Dewey and Louie and may the guiding stars guide them to endless adventure and their destination! Happy birthday to me which was three days ago and happy birthday to Huey Dewey and Louie!

That maybe I'm the only one who in my DuckTales in space headcanon and my stories somehow think that Huey Dewey and Louie are like the Apollo 11 crew that first set foot on the moon on July 20, 1969. Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. If Donald is like Gagarin, Della Duck is like Tereshkova and Anna Fischer, then Huey, Dewey and Louie are like Neil, Buzz and Michael. What do you think about that? I would love to see some kind of drawing challenge to see this famous DuckTales trio as the first astronauts on the moon in such poses in these space suits. That's just my opinion. Thank you!

Wanted to try my own hand at drawing slightly older high school looks for the kids. Since they are around age 14-15 going to the same high school together, it made since to include with Donald and Daisy as part of the school PTA.

That being said, I may do high school aged designs for the other kids later on. Definitely expect more like this soon!!!
