Tbh the teams do seem like hogwarts houses like the Reds, our gryffindors have nothing but courage to their names and Carre’s and Phil’s muscles. The Blue, our Ravenclaw team have Tubbo, Aypierre and Bbh, the brains/engineers of the server and then the gay green ninjas walking around with fitmc of 2b2t and the almighty etoiles. They’re the perfect Slytherin team specially with Kameto the traitor, Mouse the demon and Elquackity the impostor.

Dream

A Slytherin, which is ironic considering his zodiac sign is a leo

Comes from a family of purebloods who is, unfortunately, related to the Malfoys

But they don't like to associate themselves with that family, actually they've been "disowned" by the Malfoys

You first meet him on the train ride to Hogwarts, where he takes a interest in you in the most "love at first sight cliche" way you can think of

Sapnap

Gryffindor, born muggle

His parents noticed the very out of the ordinary things that happened around him, but they always thought it was just a coincidence

But once the letter arrived it explained a lot and answered many questions

They were all opened to a whole new world, so it definitely took some time to get too

But that's where you and Dream come in the picture

You three had met at Diagon Alley. You and Dream helping out the very confused Sapnap who had no one to guide him though this new place

Badboyhalo + P!Skeppy

Bad is a Hufflepuff and Skeppy is a Gryffindor

They both come from pureblood families, but aren't as close minded as most are

In your first year Skeppy accidentally pranked you while he was trying to get Bad; They both felt so bad (hehe) but you somehow befriended them in the end

Quackity + Slimecicle

Quackity, a ravenclaw, and Charlie, a hufflepuff, were probably the loudest out of their respective houses

You three knew eachother since you all lived in the same city

They both didn't know that you were a wizard, you promised your parents to never mutter a word about it

But it seems like you didn't have to keep that secret any longer

Because a week before school started you three received the same letter from the same witchcraft and wizardry school, Hogwarts

Karl Jacobs

Karl's is a half-blood, Hufflepuff, with only one dream in his mind

To become a Magizoologist just like his idol, Newt Scammander

And what better way to become one then to attend the same school he went to?

What he doesn't know is that there's also someone there with the same hopes and dreams as him, you

Wilbur Soot

He's the most well-known Ravenclaw in the school

Related to the flying class teacher, Professor Phil

His looks and talent attracted every person that passed him by

In the eye of everyone else he was the perfect wizard, who'd have an amazing future

You didn't buy into any of that, because you knew him better then anyone else

But both of your futures seem to be more complicated then both of you expected it to be

P!Philza

As previously mentioned, Phil is the flying class professor

Also an Animagus who can turn into a crow, that's how he kept eye on the students while they are in the air

He has three sons: Wilbur and Tommy who attended Hogwarts and Techno who attended Dumstrang

Also his wife, Professor Tristin, teaches Herbology

Nihachu

A Hufflepuff from a pureblood family

Who also happen to be a Metamorphagus

Every year she has a different hair color that attracted the eye of many students around the school

Resulting in her being hated by some of her fellow housemates

❝ Beauxbatons ❞

George

Attends Beauxbatons but transfers later in 4th year

He's a ravenclaw and is a half-blood

Your first encounter is during the Tri wizard Tournament, when you both decide to ditch it and just hang out

Let's just say he enjoyed your company, and Dream's and Sapnap's, so much that he decided to transfer

Eret

With George, Eret also transfers to Hogwarts and entered the Ravenclaw house

Everybody had eyes on them when they first stepped foot in the Great Hall with the other girls

Her veela powers were probably at fault

But you didn't give her attention until the Yule Ball, when she asked you to go togheter

From what you've heard, she had been trying to get your attention the entire time she was there

❝ Dumstrang ❞

Technoblade

He doesn't attend Hogwarts at all

Obviously, as I said before, he is related to Phil, Wilbur and Tommy

He first shows up at the school during the Tri Wizard Tournament and ends up being the chosen one to represent his school [he takes Victor Krum's place basically]

Then in your 5th year he makes another appearance as Phil's apprentice

Foolish

Him and Techno were all the talk during the tournament

They were the most eye catching of the bunch so everybody seemed to want to know them

You somehow ended up having to help Foolish during a chase with his new found fan club

But unfortunately that got you into a bit of a problem that all end up with a happy ending ;)

❝ Ilvermory ❞

Punz

Another pureblood unfortunately related to the Malfoys

While Dream was lucky enough to have parents and siblings who didn't support the Malfoys and the rest of the wizards like them, Punz didn't have that luck

His family truely believed in everything that you-know-who and the death eaters had done in the past, to which he did not agree

And once Harry Potter was back he was disowned from the family for not following in their footsteps

But Dream and his family were happy to welcome him at their home and help him attend Hogwarts as a "transfer student"

Most of the Slytherins didn't give him a heartwarming welcome tho

Awesamdude

To cover up what had actually happened with Punz and his family, Sam was also asked to attend Hogwarts as a transfer student

Being welcomed right away by the Gryffindors

To you he was like any other boy in that house, just american lol

But maybe he'll prove you otherwise

Get To Know ME!!!

My name is Kado (this is actually a pseudonym, I don’t use my real name to protect my privacy)! My pronouns are she/her (they were they/them when I started this account because I was a developing teen haha)!

I am 21, and in my senior year of college! I am getting my degree in theatrical performance with an emphasis in acting! I have been in over 30 productions and almost 100 performances in the last year! Some of my favorite roles include: Milly (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers), Catherine (The Foreigner) and Alice (the Addams Family). I am currently in a four person musical which takes up all my time and energy.

My favorite animals are cows! I think they have the sweetest faces!

I love the legend of Zelda very very much, it is so important to me. My first game was Wind Waker. I also really love The Muppets, Star Wars and Sam and Colby. I also am a total Disney adult and I frequently go to the Disney parks.

I love nature and the outdoors, I love the National Parks.

I have been writing my whole life, my first fan fiction was Dan and Phil fanfic when I was like 12… My favorite fic I have written is honestly Best Friends, and I am very proud of More to Love. I don’t publish all of my works, I have an extensive Seven Brides for Seven Brothers fan fiction I have written, as well as a completely Original Zelda story where the triforce trio teams up.

My favorite season is summer, my favorite holiday is Christmas. I am a Leo-Cancer cusp with a Virgo rising and Taurus moon. I am a hufflepuff who presents as a slytherin, I don’t identify as bi or pansexual but I am attracted to all genders, but have a preference for amab. I just prefer not to use a label. I am an ENFJ.

I have long red/ginger hair, I’m 5’7”, I think my body is incredibly average and I am learning to love it. I would post a picture of myself but for my safety I’m not going to. If you are really curious, you can PM me and I can potentially send you something!

Anything’s Possible

Finally, here is my contribution to @hp-12monthsofmagic 12 month challenge!

I actually had planned something completely different, but the idea for this short story came to me spontaneously, which is also the finale to the story from me and @whatwouldvalerydo about our HPMA Ship Phil and Scarlett!

Little Reminder: Phil had a drunken One Night stand with a unknown Hufflepuff Girl, who then brags about it and wanted to make Scarlett jealous.

But who thought Phil would react like this? He shows a new side of himself. Well..anything is possible.

3 weeks have passed since the incident with Phil and the Hufflepuff girl. Scarlett wanted a duel after they met, but thank God Phil dissuaded her.

Everything seemed to be going as usual and the whispering about Phil slowly diminished. Much to Phil's relief. He tried to hide it, but the rumors about him bothered him more than he initially thought. Most just giggled, a few snapped a few jokes. Phil didn't care. Worse were those who now thought they should approach Phil, ask him out, or ask straight out for details. Phil wasn't used to this kind of attention and he didn't like it either. So he had decided to wear flashy cosplays to the next Quidditch matches (much to the chagrin of Rory and Reva, who had to help him with crafts in the Gryffindor common room on several occasions). When Phil commented on the Darth Maul cosplay at the penultimate game of the season, he was definitely that weird nerd that people prefer to avoid again. And he preferred it that way. In this role he felt comfortable.

But one person didn't give up. The girl, whose name Phil still didn't know (he didn't even care anymore), kept telling about how she seduced the Quidditch commentator and how Scarlett threatened her afterwards. Most of it was made up for it and the friends had their hands full trying to keep Scarlett from going after the girl.

It was one of the nicer days and Phil was sitting in the courtyard in the blazing sun. Reva mumbled something about "getting some color" and ignored Phil's argument with an air of posh pallor. So Phil let the sun in for 10 minutes before going back to his room. He has yet to finish the secret project…. Reva watched her mate from a shady spot and looked like she was about to fall asleep again. While Phil was pretending to read his book, he was already planning to put sugary frills on Reva's robes. In revenge, of course, for the sun's rays.

But something else now drew Phil's attention. The girl just entered the courtyard and spotted Phil. Oh no...why is she approaching him now? Phil quickly jumped up and wanted to go in the other direction, but two other students blocked his way. Here's what you get for going out terraforming your island in Animal Crossing! Thanks Reva!

With a sigh, Phil turned around and saw the girl standing in front of him with her arms crossed. Reva had already got up in the meantime and wanted to rush to Phil's help, but he waved her off. Was he up to something?

The girl started talking, "Well, don't you think it's about time?"

"Time? For what?" replied Phil dryly.

“Ask me on a date of course! The whole school knows what happened and of course it's your job now to ask me out."

Phil didn't reply. He had to process and sort through first what the girls just said now. Now why did she think they would go on a date? The girl seemed to interpret his silence as shyness and so she continued unconcernedly.

“Listen, I don't know what that bitch Scarlett told you, but it's clear that she's keeping you on a long leash. She is a men-eater and always will be. Throw herself at anyone who even asks for it. You should be grateful to me that it was me who saved you from her. She just took advantage of you and you're being too friendly. She's so pathetic."

The girl and her friends giggle, not realizing they've gone a step too far. Phil had no problem with being insulted, told lies about him, or dismissed as a freak. But never badmouth Phil's friends. Especially not Scarlett.

Phil's entire posture changed, as did his charisma. The girls had no idea what was about to happen, but Reva saw her friend like she had never seen him before. Phil's expression didn't change, but his expression was hard and his eyes were cold. He felt an emotion that he rarely felt like this. Phil Baker was furious.

"The only pathetic person here is you."

The giggling stopped immediately and the girls looked confused at Phil. Before the counterattack could be launched, Phil continued.

"Tell me, are you kinda in love with me? Your obsession with me and this one night stand is almost pathological. Maybe you should get it checked out. How pathetic and boring does your own life have to be if you're so preoccupied with mine or Scarlett's? Don't you have better things to do or are you really that stupid? You found out everything about me and I don't even know your name!"

The students present in the courtyard all stopped and watched the current events spellbound. People had never seen Phil like this before. His normally calm and relaxed voice has given way to a razor-sharp, almost aggressive voice. And was he always this big? Phil's whole body was tense. He never looked so big and dominant. He stared at the groups of girls in front of him like a lion and didn't blink once. He slowly walked towards the girl while she backed away.

"I want to tell you something now. You annoy me more than a bug in a new EA video game. You are pathetic, annoying and have an obnoxious character. WHY should I go on a date with YOU? I'm not a masochist! You've been annoying me and my friends for a month."

By now he and the girl had reached the wall of the school building and fear was written all over the girl's face. Phil's words were barely more than a whisper now.

“You stay away from me and my friends from now on. And if I hear you say one bad word about Scarlett or give her a silly look, I swear you'll regret it."

With that, Phil took a step back and spoke in a louder, more relaxed voice.

“Besides… I think you overestimate yourself. Yes, we had sex. You've been talking about this for 4 weeks, so I seem to have stuck by quite a bit. I, on the other hand, can't remember anything. You don't seem to have made a lasting impression."

A cheeky grin crossed Phil's face as the girl's face flushed red from the laughter from the others. The eyes filled with tears and the girl ran away crying. Her friends still followed her, pale-faced.

Phil relaxed again and ran his hand through his hair. He hasn't been this angry in a long time. He didn't even notice that someone had been watching him the whole time...

Reva walked up to Phil and patted his shoulder, laughing, "I didn't know you could freak out like that. My respect."

"Last time I was so angry when the top laner in LoL used to kill me as a jungler."

And by then it was gone. Phil's cool demeanor.

“I mean how are you supposed to jungle if you don't get gold for items. And without the bow, Grag is..."

Before Phil could finish his sentence or Reva could roll her eyes in annoyance, someone grabbed Phil's wrist and pulled him away. It was the person Phil that was watching the whole time. It was Scarlett.

She dragged the surprising Phil down a few aisles, ignoring his questions. When she was sure they were both alone, Scarlett turned and pulled Phil closer and kissed him, eyes closed. She didn't want him to see how red they are.

Phils head starts spinning while the kiss. He didn't expect the kiss itself, nor the intensity. But he sensed that Scarlett was upset and returned the kiss. It took a while for the two to break the kiss and they both looked at each other for a few seconds.

Phil would have loved to ask questions, but he knew Scarlett too well by now. He wouldn't get any answers and he realized - it was okay with him. Phil loved this difficult girl just the way she is. On the other hand, Scarlett knew she didn't owe Phil a question and answer. He accepted her as she is, even though she didn't really know who she was by herself.

Scarlett broke the silence and with a look at Phil she said, "Thanks."

And that was the end of the matter for both of them. Much between the two was unspoken and would remain so for many years to come. But they are teenagers and not perfect. And yet there's nothing Phil would change right now.

Regaining his casual and relaxed demeanor, he put his hands in his pockets and gave Scarlett a crooked smile.

“I have to sit in the sun for 6 more minutes. Would you like to read through the latest Valorant patch notes with me?”

"Not really, but you'd tell me later anyway. And why in the sun? What about your noble pallor?”

Phil laughed, "I told Reva that too."

And so they both went back. Back to the place in the sun. Back to their everyday life.

The follow-up

It’s no news that in Hogwarts not many things remain a secret. So it was only a matter of time until news reached Scarlett. But the question is how does she take it?

First part of the story is written here so go read that first in order for this to make sense :)

“Death glares at 12 o’clock.” Nova mentioned casually, Scarlett turning around to look at the Hufflepuff table, a girl turning around immediately when their eyes locked.

Yelling, she showed her the middle finger “Take a fucking picture, it lasts longer.” Turning back to the girls, Scarlett rolled her eyes “Why is everyone acting so weird lately?” while her friends didn’t know what she was on about, not that she wanted them to, Scarlett has been harbouring a lot of anger lately due to recent events with Phil. It had been a couple of days since then, however both actively ignored the other.

Dana looked at her friends, turning to Saffron after shrugging her shoulders “Did you hear anything in the common room?” the girl shaking her head mentioning she doesn’t actually pay too much attention to the rumour mill.

Scarlett turned around once more, glaring at the girl for good measure before surveying the long table. Getting up, she flipped her long hair over her shoulder, strutting over to Jonathan “Who’s that bitch?” the boy almost chocking on his lunch.

“That’s so rude.”

Clearing her throat softly, she tried again “Please can you tell me who that bitch is?”

Shaking his head, he sighed “Honestly you don’t like making life easier for yourself do you?”

Cocking a brow, she smirked “Believe it or not, she started it. It’s been a few days since she’s been giving me the stink eye. So, tell me, do you know anything? That or I go grab her by the hair, your move.”

Glancing at the girl, Jonathan sat up straighter “Alright, but just know it’s so ridiculous it hurts.” Seeing the impatient Slytherin waiting on his answer, he decided to tell her just so he could get back to his lunch “Apparently she slept with Phil and has been bragging about it. Ludacris right?” his face dropped as he witnessed the girl’s eyes widening in surprise for a second before anger finally took over, Scarlett storming out of the Great Hall.

They have spent enough time together over the years for her to know where he liked to hide and sure enough she found him eating lunch alone. He saw her approaching, barely having time to stand up, Scarlett’s wand directed at his chest “Is it true?” by how he lowered his eyes, shoulders drawn, she knew, but she still insisted, wanting to hear it from his own mouth “Is it true you slept with that girl?”

Phil just nodded, still not looking at her. She lowered her wand however she still kept a tight grip on it “You fucking morron! So this is why you wanted to sleep with me? Because it would have been easier?”

His eyes shot to her face, a wide stare directed her way as he stammered “What? No.”

“No? Because that was such a guy move. Because what you did…”

He cut her off, his voice small but still loud enough to get his message across “Was exactly what you did. You also slept with someone.”

Letting out a sharp exhale, her hands shook in anger “You’re not me. Fine, maybe I should have told you, you deserve that, but it’s not like we are in a relationship. We’ll never be.” Pointing a finger at his chest, she did not falter “I didn’t sleep with you because you deserve better. Because you’re a good guy and deserved something meaningful. I’m not made for love, you are.” She could feel a lump forming in her throat as she delivered her tirade “It should have meant something, it should have happened for you when you actually liked someone and you were in a relationship with that person. What the fuck?”

Biting down on his lower lip he uttered “I’m sorry.”

Scarlett hesitated, eventually putting her wand away, Phil flinching slightly when she approached him expecting a full on slap form her “Just so you know I’m so fucking mad at you right now.” Lightly smacking his forehead, he nodded, turning to look at her.

“I’m really sorry.” His eyes watered as he delivered the last line, bolting from next to her, leaving Scarlett all alone.

Turning around to return back to the castle, she replayed everything in her mind, eventually deciding to head inside the closest bathroom, locking herself inside one of the stalls. Pulling out an old Walkman that she managed to get working, she placed the headphones over her ears, hitting play.

She skipped all the afternoon classes, hiding away, letting the music blast away inside her ear drums. Scarlett doesn’t cry, she never cries, or at least she never did in front of anyone, but that time she hid away crying her eyes out.

Phil also missed classes, hiding away, lamenting over the decision he made, crying all by himself out of frustration.

The next days were spent on repeating the same pattern. Scarlett would not talk to Phil and he was too embarrassed by his own actions to actually gather the courage to go to her. And while it was not abnormal for Scarlett to ignore a guy, Phil was an actual exception or had been up until that point.

“Do you want to talk about Phil?” Dana asked her once, only to almost have her head bitten off, the rest swearing they did not even want to touch the subject. If Scarlett wanted to talk about it, then she would. Pressuring her would only result in her lashing out.

However that didn’t mean they couldn’t speak with Phil, but he too was acting differently and refusing to talk about anything related to the subject. Grabbing Jonathan during one break, Nova looked up at him “Alright, I need to know what happened. After you spoke to Scarlett it’s like Hell broke loose so what did you tell her?”

“Oh no.” he took a step back, lifting his hands “I’m not doing this again. Ask her, but I’m not getting in the middle of this.”

From behind him Dana spoke “You’re telling us.” Jonathan turned to look at her, shaking his head “Please, none of them are saying anything and it’s bad.”

“Then get them together, force them to talk, I don’t know, but I repeat, I’m not getting in the middle of this. She would kill me.”

“Give us a hint then.” Nova urged him.

“All I can say is that maybe somewhere along the way someone made a mistake and the other got mad. Don’t ask why or who or where because that’s beyond me.”

So naturally what do friends do? They try to get the two together. But despite the locking of doors, or pinning something on both of them to get detention, the two still didn’t talk. If anything it made the tension between them even worse.

As a few weeks passed it was almost certain there was no reconciliation in sight.

Not until one night when Scarlett snuck out, going to the commentary box, knowing Phil would be there. She startled him when she cleared her throat after watching him for a couple of moments.

Letting out a breath of air, he ran a hand through his hair “I thought it was a professor.”

“Tough luck. It’s worse.” She said as she approached, sitting down next to him on the bench. He looked at her through the corner of his eye but didn’t say anything. Scarlett also remained quiet for a few minutes, the silence between them uncomfortable.

“Scarlett I…” he began before she placed a hand over his mouth.

“Don’t. I didn’t come here to hear you speak. Or to talk to you for that matter. I just wanted to say something and I still haven’t figured it out in my head but here it goes.” Removing her hand, she turned to look at him “You’re not mine to do as I please, so your decision is your own, who you sleep with and all that. I shouldn’t have gotten mad. It’s stupid really.” Looking away at the night sky, she continued speaking “I slept with someone because I didn’t want a significant first, I wanted it out of the way and done with, without any significance to it because it’s stupid. But I made that decision long ago because love is idiotic and it just hurts people. At least when it comes to me, who knows maybe you’ll be an exception. Maybe you’ll find the love of your life and be happy, what do I know? But the bottom line is it’s not my place to tell you anything, you do you, like you always did. I shouldn’t have gone feral on you.”

Looking over at him the word “sorry” logged itself in her throat as she witnessed tears silently falling down on his cheeks. She paused, eyes widening as she extended a hand out to his face, pulling back before touching him.

“Why are you crying?” she scooched closed to him, eyes searching his face before he turned to look away.

“I didn’t think it through honestly, I don’t know what I was thinking, I…” he took in a shaky breath, wiping away his tears “I don’t want to lose you as a friend, but now that I acted like all those guys you hate, how I take that back?”

“Look at me.” Hesitantly, he looked over at her, Scarlett lifting her hand to properly wipe his face with the sleeve of her hoodie “You’re not like them, if you were I wouldn’t be here. Simple really. As for us being friends, well, I think we’re good. But I get it, this entire thing between us, whatever it was, it didn’t help. You’re a guy yes, I don’t know what I was expecting, but you have your own needs, it just can’t be me. Because I won’t be there when you need me. I would resent you if we were more. I just can’t Phil.”

He wanted to ask, he wanted to know why she hated guys so much, but in that moment he just nodded asking her “So what now?”

Looking away in the distance “We…” she stopped herself, turning to smirk at him, ruffling his hair “Don’t look at me like that. Don’t you get it you numpty? I’m toxic, I’m bad for you.”

Grabbing hold of her wrist, he pulled her hand away but didn’t let go, wide soft brown eyes looking at her face “I’m not like those other guys, I did make a mistake but I’m not like that.” She nodded once, a silent agreement to his statement, Phil letting go of her hand “I’m sorry.”

“Me too. You didn’t deserve it, none of it.” Her eyes appeared glossy as the moon light shined down on them, but she got up quickly, Phil stopping her, grabbing her hand.

“Stay a little longer?”

“I don’t think I can. So unless you have a random anime or game you want to talk about, I will be going.”

“I can talk about games, or characters, as long as you stay.”

Sitting back down, she gently removed her hand from his, turning to look at him “So?”

Nodding, he sniffed his nose, smiling at her “Alright so have you ever heard of…” it did not matter the subject he chose, she was still there, listening to him, proving her attention, interrupting him when it didn’t make any sense, Phil explaining even more.

They didn’t admit it, but they were happy they could start all over. Slowly. Awkwardly. It didn’t matter really. As long as they were still beside each other.

Summer break challenge 2022 -Day 3 Watermelone

It was warm! Someone should claim that there is no climate change. How else to explain this heat? Rory, Saffron, Nova and Scarlett looked for a shady place to rest after class. They had long since taken off their school cloaks and stuffed them into their school bags.

"And there's Quidditch in 3 days too..." Scarlett sighed.

"I don't think it's that bad. Gryffindor will win the trophy this year!" exclaimed Rory.

"You can also sit on the broom and have the wind!" Scarlett gritted through her teeth. "We spectators sat in the blazing sun. Who actually thought that the game session would start so early!"

Saffron chuckled, "Well, I'm looking forward to it!"

"The main thing is that Phil finally starts commenting normally... Normally nobody understands a word of what he says." thought Nova.

Phil Baker has been the commentator at Hogwarts Qudditch matches for the second year in a row. But that didn't stop him from talking in his usual nerdy way. Even if nobody understood most of it, it was still very entertaining. Unfortunately, you never knew what he was up to.

When the 4 had finally found a shady spot big enough for everyone and Rory was already looking forward to talking to the girls, a voice familiar to the group sounded. It was Reva Amari.

"Phil! That's a goddamn plain watermelon! Now eat it, but stop it!"

For a brief moment, the group considered checking, but then decided they couldn't leave Reva alone with the situation. The group followed the voice and quickly saw Phil and Reva.

Reva, like the others, wore a summery version of the school uniform, but Phil, on the other hand, wore a white tank top, tan shorts, a safari hat and a large net. Even if this sight was strange, it wasn't the strangest. The strangest thing about Phil was a huge watermelon on which Phil had apparently glued two googly eyes.

Phil exclaims in exaggerated shock, "How can you say that to Metapod Reva? He's only level 8!"

Reva, on the other hand, looked at the end of her rope: "I have no idea what a Metapod is, Phil. But it's a watermelon!"

"What's going on here again? And how do you look Phil?" drew Rory's attention.

Reva turned around, relieved. "Phil stole this melon from the Hufflepuff school garden and now he says it's some pocket mon or something."

"POKEMON! And it's a level 8 Metapod ! I'm particularly proud of the little one as he has 6 perfect DV's. Do you know how hard the DV is in Pokemon? All those eggs to hatch....."

Phil sighed as if he were talking about a very hard job. "And don't even get me started on the real creature. That's another story altogether. In any case, at level 10, Safcon evolves into Butterfree."

"The only thing this watermelon will grow into if you don't eat it is a sludge pile that attracts flies." Nova pointed out. The others nodded in agreement.

Now it was Scarlett's turn: "What do you look like Phil. Does your outfit mean anything?"

Apparently Phil was just waiting for that question and grinned broadly: "This is the default outfit of the first generation bug collectors. I thought it would give me better base friendship stats with Metapod . Supposedly it affects Shinys.

The group nodded in agreement as if they understood what Phil was talking about. In this state, there was no point in asking Phil for details or meaning. The explanation was usually even more confusing than just accepting what Phil was saying.

For the rest of the day it was impossible to part Phil from his watermelon called Metapod anyway. He even took himself with him to class and explained to the teachers why this watermelon had to be on the table now. The teachers also gave up arguing with Phil and since the watermelon didn't bother the lesson (Phil said Metapod was just well behaved), nobody said anything. Every now and then Phil would roll the watermelon across the floor during the break and say something like " Metapod , use Hardener!" And then started giggling at himself.

Phil's friends didn't know which was weirder. That Phil was so happy and content with his own world, or that they put up with it and were still friends with him.

Days went by and friends thought Metapod the watermelon was finally done with. Because today was the day of the first Quidditch match and especially Reva and Rory were on fire. It was Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw. The Gryffindor team mounted their broomsticks and flew out onto the field.

To the cheers of the spectators, the players flew across the field and let themselves be celebrated. Everything seemed normal until Phil's voice answered.

"That's not your god damn serious Phil Baker!" Reva yelled, apparently playing Phil's cards. He just smiled broadly.

"Welcome, dear viewers, to the first Pokemon duel of the school year!"

Slowly, eyes turned to Phil and Reva almost fell off her broom if she braked hard. Phil wore the cosplay of an anime character named Ash Ketchen and next to him lay the watermelon Metapod with a headband with yellow and black Pikachu ears.

"I'll give you primeape and frenzy in your seat right now!"

"From the looks of it, the Gryffindor Primeape is wild and ready to use Frenzy."

For some reason the audience laughed and Reva vowed to eat the melon in front of Phil tonight.

"Concentrate on the Reva game." pointed out Rory. "We have to do our best!"

"It looks like Wigglytuff, team captain, is about to give final orders to his teammates!"

Rory didn't know what a Wigglytuff was, but just from the name alone he knew he would later give Phil a head onion. And so does the game and Phil's comments.

"Uh, what a lazy person! Chansey will have something to do later in the hospital wing!" "10 points to Ragabad for that awesome Quick Attack!" "Will the Ep mean for a level up of the Habitak?"

After a while, the players knew roughly who Phil meant by what name, and so the game continued. It was an even and exciting game until Gryffindor actually managed to win in the end.

"And so the first win and Arena Medal goes to Team Gryffindor!!!" To the cheers of the spectators, the teammates celebrated each other and their victory. Later there would be a big party in Gryffindor Tower!

The team quickly changed to be at the party. However, on the way back to the castle, Rory found something on the ground. It was a magazine with the word "Pokemon" in it. No doubt this had to belong to Phil! Rory looked curiously into the magazine and Reva stood behind him curiously.

"Wait... THAT is a Wigglytuff?! Phil compared that pink cotton candy thing to me?!" Rory said.

"And I'm supposed to be this angry looking and snorting monkey?!" Reva crossed her arms in anger.

Both looked at each other and nodded. Now it was time to give Phil a proper head onion. Rory tucked the magazine under his arm and he and Reva caught up with their teammate. Everyone was in the common room quickly and, as usual, the party was already prepared. To Rory and Reva's surprise, Phil grinned at both of them in his normal clothes.

Reva started. "Phil, we need to talk.”

"I know. Metapod has evolved!"

"No, seriously Phil."

But Phil ignored Reva, turned around, picked up a tray and turned back to his friends. A melon was cut into pieces on the tray. But the melon was colorful! Some pieces even changed color!

"I've been experimenting with spells and bewitching the melon to make it so colorful after 4 days. Should be a gift for victory. If you'd lost, it would have been a consolation melon."

Rory and Reva didn't know what to say.

"Oh the Safcon because she was so nice and green. I also spent the summer holidays with DV breeding. I had to leave my switch at home and somehow I miss breeding."

Still not, Rory and Reva didn't know what to say. Phil created a spell for her and watched the melon for 4 days to see if the spell worked. His cheeky comments during the game were forgotten and his friends smiled.

"Then we need one more for the others."

And with that, the 3 Gryffindors started eating the watermelon.

Perfect on such a warm summer day.
