i've been collecting resources and studies about myalgic encephalomyelitis for upcoming doctors appointments, and since there's a lot of misinformation about ME out there i thought i'd make a post with links and information that might be helpful for other ME patients, or just generally educational!
for anyone who doesn't know, myalgic encephalomyelitis is a debilitating multi system chronic illness. it's most characteristic symptom is post exertional malaise/symptom exacerbation (meaning symptoms getting significantly worse after exertion with prolonged recovery periods - see the diagnostic criteria linked below for more explanation). it has previously been called chronic fatigue syndrome, a name associated with claims of it being a psychosomatic condition rather than a medical one despite evidence to the contrary (here's a page with some information about the history of ME, and see the pathology section further down for evidence of ME being a physical disease). ME is also often comorbid with conditions like POTS (or other forms of orthostatic intolerance and dysautonomia), MCAS, and Small Fibre Neuropathy, and it's not uncommon for people who have long covid to develop ME. but yea! here's some links to resources i've gathered.

[PDF] The Future of Growth Report 2024
See on Scoop.it - Education 2.0 & 3.0
The recent sustained slowdown in growth has been compounded by a succession of crises and dislocations. These crises have raised questions not just about the stability of prevailing approaches to stimulating economic growth, but about the goals and values underpinning it. It is now more than 15 years since the beginning of the global financial crisis, but it continues to cast a shadow, not least in the policy choices of many advanced economies. The COVID-19 pandemic and the shock of lockdowns, left behind an aftermath of a surge in public debt levels and reversal of global development progress. Geopolitical tensions and conflicts have further reshaped an increasingly multipolar international order, with far-reaching implications for technology, growth and development. Overshadowing these developments is the growing awareness that the world’s rising temperature poses grave dangers to the long-term prospects for humanity, with the world currently on track for a temperature rise significantly above the targets set out in the Paris Agreement in 2015. In parallel, polarization and mistrust is growing in many societies, with only 50% of people trusting governments and only 41% trusting government leaders. All of this has taken place against – and has also frequently contributed to – a backdrop of increasing global contention over economic policies, norms and structures. The extent to which there was previously agreement on these matters should not be overstated, with older prescriptions for growth, including the so-called “Washington consensus”, having broken down before the global financial crisis had erupted. But the forces of change have intensified over the past two decades, in particular as politics in many advanced economies have fractured, as the power and resources of emerging economies have increased, and as many leaders across the world have sought to strengthen national economic policy-making as a counterweight to the political and economic effects of globalization. The work in this report starts from two key premises. The first is that economic growth is an essential policy objective and a key prerequisite for improving living standards and making progress on almost any other policy agenda. The second is that growth policy is an inherently normative exercise, with tradeoffs and synergies. As such, there will inevitably be disagreements on these normative considerations.

AI is bringing greater speed, accuracy and efficiency to medical imaging and diagnostics. Algorithms can analyze medical images and data to help detect diseases earlier and support clinicians in making faster and more accurate diagnoses. This has the potential to improve patient outcomes and save lives.
To know about the assumptions considered for the study, Request for Free Sample Report
One major driver spurring the growth of AI in medical diagnostics is the influx of big data in healthcare. With the digitization of health records and medical imaging, vast amounts of patient data is being generated. AI solutions are needed to collect, store, process and glean insights from this data. Machine learning algorithms can detect patterns and anomalies that humans cannot. This allows doctors to provide more personalized care tailored to each patient's needs.
However, some medical practitioners have been reluctant to adopt AI technologies due to misconceptions that AI will replace human doctors. In truth, AI aims to augment clinicians' abilities, not replace them. AI excels at certain tasks like image analysis, while human skills like empathy remain irreplaceable. Educating doctors on how AI can enhance their capabilities, rather than threaten their jobs, will be key to driving further adoption.
Budget constraints, especially in developing nations, also pose challenges to the widespread implementation of AI diagnostics. The high costs of imaging equipment and AI software licenses make acquiring these technologies difficult for resource-strapped hospitals and clinics. More affordable AI solutions tailored for emerging economies could help overcome this obstacle.
At the same time, developing more human-aware AI presents exciting opportunities. Rather than cold and calculating machines, there is a push to develop AI technologies that can understand nuances of human communication and mimic human-like reasoning. This could lead to more natural doctor-AI interactions and AI assistants that think more like human partners.
Currently, software comprises the largest segment of the AI in medical diagnostics market, while services like integration and maintenance are growing rapidly as well. In terms of applications, AI is being applied extensively in in vivo diagnostics for reading radiology scans, assisting pathologists and analyzing medical images. AI is also making inroads into in vitro diagnostics via intelligent lab equipment and automated sample analysis.
Hospitals are the leading adopters of AI diagnostic tools due to the increasing volume of imaging procedures and patient data they must analyze. AI can automate repetitive tasks, freeing up doctors to focus on higher-value work. Diagnostic imaging centers and laboratories are other major users of AI in medical diagnostics.
Geographically, North America currently dominates the market, but the Asia Pacific region is forecast to see the fastest growth at a 42.6% CAGR. Rising investments in digital healthcare infrastructure and supportive government policies are key factors driving adoption in Asia Pacific.
To know about the assumptions considered for the study, download the pdf brochure
Major technology firms like Microsoft, IBM, Google and Nvidia are actively developing healthcare AI solutions. Medical imaging companies such as Philips, GE Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers are also integrating AI into their diagnostic systems. AI startups focusing specifically on medical imaging analytics, such as Aidoc and Quibim, have also emerged.
With regulatory support, adequate training for physicians, and intelligent application of these emerging technologies, AI promises to revolutionize medical diagnostics. Automating routine tasks, uncovering hidden insights in complex data and assisting doctors in making better clinical decisions will together help raise the accuracy and quality of healthcare worldwide. The future of AI in medical diagnostics looks bright as this technology continues maturing and being integrated into patient care workflows.

A comprehensive understanding of business operations, strategic management principles, leadership competencies, and critical thinking talents are all part of an India The main goal of MBA education is preparing people for managerial and leadership roles across a range of companies and sectors BA MBA Education Market Trends. A wide range of topics, including finance, marketing, human resources, operations management, entrepreneurship, economics, organizational behavior, and business ethics are often covered in the curriculum. Preparing people for managerial and leadership roles across a range of companies and sectors is the main goal of MBA education. Students who complete the program are expected to be prepared to analyze difficult business challenges, make wise decisions, create winning strategies, and manage teams & organizations.
Currently, India is home to around 4,000 of the 15,000 B-schools worldwide or more than one-fourth of them. Several of these B-schools provide multiple post-graduate management programs. As a result, India has at least 5,000 such programs. Given that formal management education in India only began in 1949, when XLRI Jamshedpur became the nation's first business school (130 years after ESCP Europe, the first business school in the world, opened its doors in Paris in 1819), this rapid expansion is impressive. The development of management education in India, however, has not been without complications and uncertainty. Numerous low-quality B-schools have sprung up, notably in the last ten years, as a result of inconsistent higher education regulations, inadequate planning, and a focus on "education-as-business."
Many of them have closed their doors due to a lack of pupils, and many more are anticipated to follow. This unplanned and unrestrained India MBA Education Market Growth has backfired. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)'s classification of management courses as technical education lacks in proof. Several hundred cases involving topics such as deemed university status and others connected to AICTE clearances are still ongoing in various courts.
Inquiry Before Buying @ https://www.alliedmarketresearch.com/purchase-enquiry/177694
The Advertising Standards Council of India routinely receives complaints alleging that business schools' unsupported marketing include deceptive claims. An example of this is the recent Delhi High Court decision that prohibited a school from awarding MBA degrees. Then there are concerns with single institutions that provide a variety of management education programs, some of which are linked with distant universities that grant MBA degrees, some of which are AICTE-approved certificates, and other programs which are not affiliated or approved. As a result of all these worries, there is negativity created, and prospective students constantly face difficult choices.
India has quickly developed into a global economic, financial, and technological center during the past few decades. Owing to the extensive growth of the sector, there are now a ton of business and MBA programs available to meet the expanding needs of the new industries in the market. The MBA program has grown in popularity and demand over the years, making it the clear choice for students and professionals who want to improve their skills. Moreover, there has been a tremendous development in the number of MBA programs and institutions around India due to the high India MBA Education Market Demand for such programs. Unfortunately, this has led to a severe deterioration in the caliber and relevancy of many of these programs. The India MBA Education market is segmented on the basis of duration of course, type of programs, and course type. By duration of course, the India MBA Education industry is classified into 0-12 months, 12-24 months and 24 months.
On the basis of type of programs, it is fragmented into management, marketing & sales, finance & accounting, HR, defense MBA, and others. Depending on the course type, it is segregated into executive MBA, freshers MBA, and e-learning MBA.

CORPORATE TRAINING & THEIR TYPES

What is Corporate Training :
Corporate training, often known as corporate education or workplace learning, is nothing more than a set of activities intended to educate personnel. Giving them the right quantity of knowledge and skills, it enables workers to develop in their work.
Human resource departments in smaller firms and development and talent teams in larger organizations both frequently take on the responsibility of preparing the workforce. It is their duty to make the training program's subjects and requirements available to the personnel.
Corporate training has a number of benefits, which we will go over in more detail later on in this article. You might be wondering why training is important for organizations and how to use it in your business. Let's examine the most practical and important answer.

Types of Corporate Training :
Corporate training comes in a variety of forms, and each one is specific to the size and diversity of the organization. How can one employer design a typical, high-quality learning program that benefits the other employee is the question at hand? Numerous corporate training firms have already entered the market and have demonstrated successful outcomes in significant corporations.
Following are the ways to organize corporate training in the business-
Online training is a significantly more trustworthy method:
For several decades, online training has been the most popular choice. In the realm of corporate training, online training is now accepted as the most secure method of instruction. The polls show that online training increased by 900% between 2002 and 2018.
Due to the aforementioned rise, organizations must place a greater emphasis on online training. One can learn more from any learning platform, including eLearning, which offers a variety of online modules, activities, discussion forums, games, and learning opportunities. Furthermore, the.pdf file format can be used to save significant documentation.
After the PDF has been saved, you can generate digital content that students can also access.
The most efficient method is instructor-led classroom instruction:
This is the standard classroom-based instruction. However, you should be familiar with instructor-led learning. According to survey findings, 32% of corporate training organizations use it for nearly a third of their whole training process. Because it is still used frequently today, this is considered an old-school method but it is quite successful.
Two-in-one blended learning:
This training option is ideal for you if you are unsure whether to choose in-person training or online training. Because it is a method that incorporates both in-person and online education into a single curriculum. As it incorporates the greatest aspects of each method, learning would become much better in this way.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE BEST CORPORATE TRAINING THEN VISIT HERE
Virtual Instructor-Led Training, or VILT :
You would be able to share videos and comments, conduct online classroom lectures, track learner progress, and do a lot more with the aid of VILT. [PDF] Towards social generative AI for education: Theory, practices and ethics
This opinion paper explores educational interactions involving humans and artificial intelligences not as sequences of prompts and responses, but as a social process of conversation and exploration. In this conception, learners continually converse with AI language models and other human learners within a dynamic computational medium of internet tools and resources. Learning happens when this distributed human-AI system sets goals, builds meaning from data, consolidates understanding, reconciles differences, and transfers knowledge to new domains.
Building social generative AI for education will require development of powerful AI systems that can converse with each other as well as humans, construct external representations such as knowledge maps, access and contribute to internet resources, and act as teachers, learners, guides and mentors. This raises fundamental problems of ethics. Such systems should be aware of their limitations, their responsibility to learners and the integrity of the Internet, and their respect for human teachers and experts.
We need to consider how to design and constrain social generative AI for education. What are implications for education when AI becomes embedded in social networks? To participate fully in a social learning system, all the generative AI elements would need to be trained on ethical and pedagogy principles not only to support human participants but to care for them by, for example, enabling them to develop as learners and to express their personal and cultural diversity.

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Performance Appraisal Form
Tumblr media
Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Performance Appraisal Form The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) plays a pivotal role in Kenya's education sector. Ensuring the delivery of quality education requires a well-performing and motivated workforce. One of the critical tools that TSC employs to assess and enhance its staff's performance is the Annual Staff Performance Appraisal Report. This comprehensive document evaluates an officer's performance, serving as a basis for training and potential promotions within the commission. Purpose of the Appraisal The primary objective of the Staff Performance Appraisal is to conduct a thorough and objective assessment of an officer's job performance. ALSO READ: TSC Study Leave Form: Application Guidelines and Process It relies on a complete understanding of the job descriptions and requirements to provide an accurate evaluation. This information is vital not only for determining training needs but also for gauging an officer's potential for career advancement within TSC. Coverage The Staff Performance Appraisal Report encompasses all TSC Secretariat staff, excluding the Commissioners and the Commission Secretary. TSC Appraisal Process The appraisal process commences with the appraisee receiving the appraisal form and divisional or sectional performance targets at the beginning of the review period. ALSO READ: TSC Subsistence Claim Form (pdf); What You Should Know Appraisers are required to develop individual work plans based on these targets. The Directorate of Human Resource Management (DSHRM) receives the original report from the quarterly appraisal by July 31st of each year, with the appraisee keeping a duplicate. Personal Data In the first section of the report, the appraisee provides personal details and employment records. This includes their name, TSC number, date of birth, gender, designation, employment history, terms of service, and the period under appraisal. Performance Evaluation This is the heart of the appraisal report, where both the appraisee and appraiser assess the former's performance in terms of departmental/divisional objectives, agreed work targets, performance standards, output, and expected results. ALSO READ: Important TSC Links and Portal Logins for Teachers The evaluation is divided into five sections: Parts 2A–2D: These sections evaluate the appraisee's performance for each of the four quarters. This constitutes 80% of the overall rating. Part 2E: This section rates the appraisee on behavioral attributes that reflect the Commission's core values. It accounts for the remaining 20% of the overall rating. Overall Rating In this section, the quarterly scores from Parts 2A to 2D and the scores on behavioral attributes in Part 2E are summarized. The cumulative scores are then converted into an overall percentage score, with the appraiser's rating constituting the final grade. ALSO READ: Retirement and Resignation Procedures for TSC Teachers in Kenya, Causes and Benefits Training Needs and Development Part 4 provides an opportunity for the appraisee to identify specific performance gaps that, if addressed, can improve their output and competencies. The appraiser then discusses these gaps and proposes relevant training interventions. Comments by the Countersigning Officer The countersigning officer, who oversees both the appraisee and appraiser, validates the report. In this section, the countersigning officer comments on the appraisee's suitability for promotion and makes general proposals for performance improvement. ALSO READ: Voluntary, Compulsory Retirement Age For TSC Teachers Teachers Service Commission (TSC) Performance Appraisal Form Perfomance-Appraisal-FormDownload Conclusion The Teachers Service Commission's Annual Staff Performance Appraisal Report is a critical tool for evaluating and enhancing its workforce's efficiency and professionalism. By providing a comprehensive framework for assessment, it not only identifies areas for improvement but also facilitates career growth within the commission. Through this process, TSC aims to ensure that its dedicated staff continues to contribute effectively to Kenya's education system.
