✨👽 Hey y'all. It's Aly again, a 25+ writer looking for other people 21+ to write with on discord. I do medium to long length lit rp in third person. Prefer at least a paragraph or two of writing with most replies. One or two liners don't do it for me. Right now I'm only looking to write female muses 'cuz I usually write guys and I gotta switch it up. I'm up for doubling up eventually if we hit it off well though. Here's some stuff I've been wanting.

-I'd like to write Rogue from Marvel X-Men against either a Gambit, Magneto, Cyclops, Wolverine, Morph, Captain America, Bucky Barnes, Human Torch, Shadow King, or even Mephisto, Sebastian Shaw, or Sinister in some 🕊️ content. Also up for writing with OCs if they catch my interest. Multiple partners totally welcome. Smut to plot ratio 70/30. Open to just about whatever the hell ya might have in mind (check my blog for likes and limits). It ain't gotta be some extravagant plot to get my seal of approval.

-I'm also wanting to write Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy 7 in a 🕊️ situation that'd have stuff like noncon or dubcon, kidnapping, multiple partners, breeding, maybe A/B/O, stuff like that. I was thinking she could get taken by Shinra agents or someone who finds out she's a Cetra and wants to ransom her off for $ and realizes she's good for more than that if they keep her for a while first. Could also include Hojo's "experimentations" with her and Red XIII or with someone or something else like Sephiroth. Could include any of the cast of characters or OCs or any mix of them. Smut to plot ratio can be closer to 80/20 for this bc I want a lot smut for her.

-Also wanna write a Star Wars oc female jedi in a 🕊️ situation who gets attacked, kidnapped, and possibly corrupted by a sith or a group of sith or maybe a sith lord (they can be oc or cc). Or a female oc kidnapped by a group of Mandalorians. Can include any combination of things from my list of stuff I'll write on my pinned post. Maybe she's a jedi and has a brother or former friend or something who went dark side and is trying to get her to join him.

-Also interested in a 🕊️ plot where I'd write an actress or female musician muse or something who has a run in with an obsessive fan or stalker. Give me the worst ya got.

-Always down for writing a younger inexperienced girl against an older guy like a family friend or something in any number of situations, too.

hey there! this is a new multimuse rp blog, that features characters from dc & marvel (with more to come later!) . crossover friendly & headcanon based. i'll have a detailed muse list soon, but feel free to pm me or interact to set up RPs in the meantime! the writer is 18+, and i ask anyone who follows to be an adult as well, as this blog will feature mature themes, including heavy adult content, so please bare that in mind. i'm also completely open to writing on discord, if that's your preference!

It's been a minute! I'm sorry it took so long, I just saw "muse of void" and knew I'd have to give this one a particular level of think because it's such an interesting and uncommon classpect.

I think it's so uncommon and interesting because most rp groups within the fandom would never in a hundred million years let you bring in a Muse -- oh power creep this oh narrative focus that, you know, that type of thing. The usual mechanics measuring you get stuck into with people you don't know well and trust. So usually people make muses for fanventures or small closed things with friends -- and on that account I want to say, thank you as always for letting me at your characters to turn them over and put them in situations!

I don't acknowledge this enough, but when I write these posts I do my best to strike a balance between analysis according to my tastes and respecting the creative intent of the asker. Sometimes I can't obviously see it, and some people like to be vague in their asks because they want to see my take on something they're doing differently anyway -- but the sentiment is there!

I also quite like that you've specified everybody's species. Mind you, I do tend to assume your trolls are Alternian if not given any other context, and I might suggest a few things pertaining to my fanworld if I think it could help you think some things through. But the species context helps enormously!

Now that we've got preliminaries out of the way, let's get cracking.

As usual, we're starting off by establishing the general status of our classpects. There's a bit to get through, so I've helpfully made some subheadings.

Hope

In my session analysis I usually say that the presence of an Heir means that their aspect is in a position to nurture them, but also in decline such that it requires an heir, a person to whom it (the aspect, in the sense of a programmed environmental preset or in the sense of a semi sapient force) can legally transfer its power, pass its torch.

In our case, that aspect is Hope.

Now, Hope is often scanned as optimism and literal actual hope and faith, but I would argue it also represents perseverance; one of its consistent symbols in the narrative is this idea of an unstoppable force, like a shonen protagonist or your friend that is somehow capable of ignoring all indications of reality when pursuing a dream. It's associated with angels, heralds and messengers of What Must Be -- you can't go protagonistier than divine approval of your pursuits!

When a hero of Hope is fully realized they can look at the rules and the realistic limits of a situation, say "nah but for real tho" and skip merrily right on through on the strength of their ability to ignore the haters. Aranea at least is of the opinion that Jake's aspect is "unrivaled 8y any other", and it's easy to see why - it's got big damn hero written all over it!

Not to say that you can't weight your aspects anydamnhow you like, of course. That depends on the story you want to tell.

But it's pretty classic storytelling to say that hope and faith and belief and dreams and such is dying, and someone loyal, brave and true is there to help. On some level we could all have used a champion for our childhood gentleness.

Breath

In keeping with our previous discovery that there's very little Hope to go round, we also have an understanding that Breath -- agency, serendipity, room to breathe, narrative, limelight -- is so rare, so precious, that somebody in need might be tempted to steal or usurp it.

Now, it is possible that the lack of Breath is personal for the Thief themself -- but is that more interesting for you than nobody having much agency, and the Thief deciding "screw y'all, I got mine"?

Or let's consider for a moment that maybe they want to help their team, but they need more Breath to do that... in essence, they need to learn to claim the limelight and occupy space? Oh, now we are cooking with gas. Now we're cooking with gas.

Doom

It can mean a lot of things for Doom to have a maid. Obvious among them is that there's a need for maybe tidying up, maybe some introducing and making -- disarray, lawlessness, a general disrespect for the conventions of being. That's not surprising given this Maid's friend group! Good golly, two entire main character syndrome patients. Naturally someone has to rein them in and establish some rules.

Rules in general seem to be relaxed here, and death and decline are quite remote -- is this a good thing? Is this a bad thing? I don't know -- time will tell.

One alternative reading of the Maid of specifically Doom that could be interesting is another digression into traditional narrative -- the figure of the doomed maid.

Let's take the mythohistorical person Berurya, for example, known mainly for being the wife (and therefore in some sense, in the period, also the servant) of the scholar Rabbi Meir. She's a fairly paradigmatic example of a narrative about someone who punches above their weight (she often argued theological opinions and people cited her in formal debate, she was famously very pious, and also she was, horror of horrors, a woman). In response to this her husband's students get jealous and conspire to put her in a position where to protect her dignity, she has to honour kill herself. They then expect him to go on like he's been having a normal one, or at least they never talk about it again except the guys who started a grassroots movement of naming after her.

You see these types of characters and imageries throughout a lot of different cultures, and mostly they boil down to this idea that there are people (reduced to archetypes) who are perfectly fine and even respectable as long as they serve the needs of the powers that be (in Berurya's case, the rabbinical establishment), but the moment that they fly too close to the sun, they have to be cut down. Doom is positively about justice and law and destiny (which is what doom meant to the Anglo-Saxons), but it can also be read as being about death, decay, judicial punishment, and yes, cutting down tall poppies...

Homestuck has an unfortunate (for your Maid) precedent for Maids -- underappreciated, servile, in some way sacrosanct figures -- as scapegoats and sufferers, and Doom is canonically also an aspect of suffering. I sure hope Doom doesn't turn on this poor individual right at the moment when they believe the rules that protect them would be most applicable! I sure hope they don't have their expectations and sense of effifacy built up only to have to resist their being torn down!

Blood

This is a lovely segue into a classpect that works really well thematically with Doom -- Blood represents connection, obligation, comradeship, change, revolution, mutation, connection, inheritance.

We do need to make a note of the fact that our Prince of Blood is a troll. For them, then, Blood is also fundamentally about caste and fitness and predestination in a way it probably isn't for your humans -- unless it is, but you'd know that better than me.

The duality of Princes -- do they destroy their aspect or destroy with its power? -- and their theming, which we can read as monarchic or as judicial (Nasi, the title of the president of the Sanhedrin, can be translated Prince or President), is similarly dualistic. Are they tyrants or mediators? Can you be both?

Regardless of their approach, a Prince in the game means the aspect is at a zenith of relevance -- Dirk's Heart aspect and his callousness with it was sort of a central thing of the alpha session -- and it's in their hands to some extent where their thing goes from there, up or down. They have dominion and they're free to use it as they like, define it, reform it -- like a Sylph, but more selfish, almost.

For the trolls this means a particularly harsh society, and for everyone it means that whatever the nature of their Blood, it's important. Maybe the troll species of your Prince inflects Blood for your human players too; maybe, if you like, your text is fundamentally focused on the implications of heritage in a way that Homestuck very deliberately avoids being.

Void

There is an argument to be made for the idea that Void is irrelevant to your game -- or nearly so, at first. Muses inspire and command (or command through) their Aspect, which is huge, but... it's a muse. It's the dinkiest most passive passive class, and in my particular balance oriented reading a Muse commands the aspect that's initially or eventually weakest and least relevant in the session. Calliope had zero room to learn or grow, and Caliborn blew up most of Space. That's a thing that he definitely actually did.

Put simply, your game is chockablock stuffed full of random pointless shit. No one has the time or desire to stop for a bit and do nothing; there's no mystery, they've all lost the plot of what they're doing and the reverence due to the thing in the background, the fear, the unknown. Minmaxing is expected.

If your troll religion is Horrorterror-oriented, this is a good time to say that's in decline too -- the level of abject don't give a fuck is so profound that the Muse may well believe they're the only person who really looks and sees anything at all in the world. That's a miserable way to be; they're probably not very effective, maybe even maladjusted.

But they don't have to be. After all, there are powers in the abyss, which are there and Ą̴̪̜̤̣̥͍̗̆̈́̏̇̾̅̈́͝ḻ̵̬̱̳̙͈̰̳͙͑́̎̐w̷̟̤͎͎͉͔͑̂̈́á̸̢̳̮̇̈́̽̒̍y̵̹̰̝͇̝̹̺̖̾̊̋̏ͅs̴̨͇͇̰͙͎̯̆̽͌̆͜ ̴̣͙̝͇͍͙̪͍͔́̉̽͗̃̚̕͝ẅ̴͙̼̭̹́̽̽͛̏̉͜i̸̛̖̘̮̤̱̳̖̎̀̔͑̂͘l̵̢̯͈̅͛̅̿̐́̾́̚l̴̜̝̙̪͕̔́̋ ̷̼̓͋͊̒͑́́̔̔b̷̳́̔͊̈̇̀̈́̊͊e̵͇̩͑̓͋̑͝.

Whoops! Got a little eldritch there for a second.

The big thing about Muses is that when realized, they can affect their aspect as much as it does them -- and in Void's case that means that our Muse here has the potential to seriously course correct the narrative, to restore Void to prominence and force everyone else to take time to reconsider things and reanalyze the space they occupy. For especially the Maid, that might be important...

From the top, now

First things first, no one's breeding any frogs, and no one has any do-overs. You'll also note I didn't do any ominous red text evoking Caliborn, and that's intentional too -- no Time aspect means that it's possible, as I've just realized, for this universe to be outside of the cancerous frog branch of SBURB.

So what does the game look like? How do they play?

I think the human kids start playing first, and they find their game a bit of a mess; hopeless, directionless, and kind of broken down systematically. The trolls play their own two-player game, which as far as they know is thematically about analyzing their society (through blood as caste and void as religion and both as what a person owes to society), and fail -- but the Muse leverages the Terrors and the Prince leverages their sense of decency, and off they go through the Ring and into an adjacent universe. I think they might begin as Exiles for two of the human players.

While the Maid runs around trying to facilitate the Hope player and keep the Breath player on course (their aspects are opposing along the axis of attitude to destiny, it's not easy), the Prince and Muse disagree (and maybe balkanize the human kids) as to what would be the most helpful form of intervention. That could be dangerous, but on the other hand, for now, their universe is coming to be still and quiet... there's a long window between when it becomes noticeable that an end is coming and when an end does come.

And oh, what sorts of things they could all get up to then!

Of course, in your own universe, mileage will vary...

Bonus rambling: a brief aside about an interesting point of mixed species sessions.

In a fundamental way, if there's no time travel and cultural anthropology involved, there's a very limited window of time in which one group of young people can communicate their worldview to another. Culture shock is real and sometimes strikes a long time after you think you've assimilated.

Children handle it better than adults on a lot of levels, but not on all of them. How much worse is a time limit if the people it's imposed on can't communicate about important issues?

Take Alternia: they have a caste system. In a group of human friends who don't have one, informal deference on the basis of social status just doesn't really usually happen. And in caste societies we do have, well, we have all kinds of social movements and changes ongoing.

Even insomuch as we have castes, for the most part, they don't affect our children in the way that trolls' castes do because they're partly morphological. We can infer from the existence of hemoanons that the phenomenon of caste is much like our phenomenon of sex-based gender for trolls -- the biological foundations are murky, but the sociological realia connected to them are attributed to innate traits and not really questioned.

This is a little like caste based politeness and a little like our binary gender in human societies so far, but stay with me -- I think there actually are certain aspects of the hemospectrum that are at some level instinctive. The castes correspond to castes in eusocial insects, and by that analogy we may assume that trolls in person a) can instantly tell what socially constructed caste a troll belongs to by their morph, and b) have some ant-brain level of very broad inborn behaviour about it.

It's always a good idea to consider your caste worldbuilding when you write little guys in opposition to each other and to humans -- how does your system respond to the species having internet? How does your humans' culture interface with it? Is it different by region, by planet?

Okay so starting with my first D&D character: Odgerel Muunokhoi.

A bit of an odd step forward for me getting into the 5e system, I decided to make a Lawful Evil character. Okay now don’t come at me with torches and pitchforks already, I haven’t even explained why-

So I was no stranger to TTRPGs or written RP by any means, having previous experience with Runequest and other more freeform systems, but I never dared to touch D&D-lites. I remember being very against the idea of playing class-based systems but then I joined a new group full of CR fans. We picked up Hoard of the Dragon Queen as a starting module not knowing that it sucked balls; however, the selling point was that we had to stop a cult from establishing the final connection with their goddess and that was good enough for me to start thinking about a concept.

The idea of Odgerel proceeded from a mix of samurai warrior combined with mongolian pillagers, and the culture of her homeland was one obsessed with conquest and plunder. The people of Odgerel’s city were devout to the god of control, Menahirin (which honestly now that I think about it, it might have been a homebrew god since I haven’t read about them in the canon). She came from the bond of an elven Menahirin priestess and a lowly human peasant, who decided to give in to their romance and sacrifice the lives they had at the city and escaped to somewhere safer.

In her youth, Odgerel was obviously confused by the decision to abandon the city and then decided to go back there searching for a good enough response. In her investigation she managed to find out that the High Priest of Menahirin had her same last name, turning out to be her grandfather. Her grandfather looked at her in disgust, knowing the story behind her, and promptly revoked Odgerel of her previous last name. Her new last name was Muunokhoi (Wild/Violent Dog, in a despective manner), and claimed that if she was to try and reclaim her heritage, she would have to give cult to Menahirin in a most peculiar way.

Raphael was born in October of 1892 in Rottenburg — a sprawling village famous for its centuries-old traditions of chasing the next in the resident lineage of mad doctors out of town with torches and pitchforks whenever they swapped out too many super-charged baboon hearts. Each and every time, the doctors escape relatively unscathed.

Raphael, however, wasn’t this lucky.

He paid special attention to the science of life and death. He used dead townspeople as test subjects, eventually coming up with a reliable way to revive the dead. Unfortunately, the newly alive people were rarely happy, being transformed into either bloodsucking monsters, or mere ghosts trapped in their own putrid bodies. He even cursed his own soul as well, so as to “have a second shot at life” in case something goes wrong.

The villagers’ patience has ran out. They didn’t want to just chase the the doctor away. They wanted him dead.

Trapped in his mansion, surrounded by the furious mob, Raphael decided himself to become the subject of his possibly last experiment. He had nothing to lose — even if he dies for good, at least he will not give the townspeople the satisfaction of killing him. He downed a vial of poison and perished, only to come back from the dead two days later.

He fled Germany, seeking refuge in the United States, where nobody knows about his crimes against nature, and found a lucrative job at TF Industries, offering him plentiful funding, technology and test subjects to satisfy his thirst for knowledge — and blood.

Pretty sure no one on this app follows @/FennelMboro on twitter so have no idea what this post is about BUT.

That account is a CH&T roleplay account of Fennel, run by me, and I've been discussing one of my OCs on it recently. This post is about her! It will definitely be edited in the future, if I can find this post again LMAOO

Who is “Nala”?

Nala is one of my Camp Here & There original characters! I don't fully remember where the idea for her came from (she kinda just appeared one day I guess GOD that's so in character) but I do know that she's, in a way, Helen Distortion from The Magnus Archives but OC-ified.

She’s an entity with a constantly changing and morphing appearance, but her most common appearance is this: brown skin, pale white hair, bright, saturated blue eyes, wide, toothy smile, strange facial scars and SHES A FAT WOMAN FUCK YEAH I LOVE HER SEXY MF sorry what who said that

Where did she come from?

Currently, the only reference to her origins on the Fennel RP account (where you see most of her lore, as I AM the person who created her) is this picture below.

The post with the picture says “I don't know who the people in the background are, but that woman.. looks exactly like Her. But human. Much more human.”

This is an image of what Nala looked like before she became the entity that now haunts the woods and terrorises Fennel, and sometimes The Macaroni Penguins (yeah they have an RP account), Yvonne and Sydney.

What can she do?/How powerful is she?

Fennel already figured out how to “find” her. The way Nala can send people to her domain is normally by placing a certain object somewhere, and if you look close enough, you realise it looks.. off. Like, say you're walking through the woods, and you find a tree. But this tree looks like a large cardboard cutout, and when you shine your torch on it, the light goes around rather than on. Nala normally does this, places a random weird looking tree. And the way to travel to her domain is by approaching the object, and touching it. Simple!

In my first drawing of her, the background is of her domain.

White noise, or some sort of TV static, with a purple tint to it. The background noise is static, accompanied by some sort of feedback and far-off forest ambience.

Her abilities are strange, to say the least. You would think that this old (well, she usually presents as middle-aged which isn't OLD OLD) woman would be all nice and innocent but TRUST ME she's an ASSHOLE.

As I said earlier, she's inspired by Helen Distortion. If she was a TMA character, she'd obviously be an Avatar of The Spiral, spreading lies and deception about pretty much anything, and letting people perceive her as a good person before she strikes.

The way she injures/scares people hasn't exactly been explained yet, mainly that she gave Fennel some sort of visions and now they're scared of the camp, and the hidden entities that lurk in it.

On 25/3/24, there were a few threads from the Fennel, Yvonne and newly made Nala roleplay accounts discussing Nala's past and abilities.

Fennel: "To start it off, I did find a picture of (presumably) Nala when she was.. human? Alive? and a newspaper article from when Lucille went to this camp as a teenager. About three girls being on the lake when the sky, like.. *breaks.*"

Yvonne: "??? What happened?"

Fennel: "So, after the sky breaks, everything goes dark and quiet. Well, not quiet. All that is heard is white noise. After an hour of this, the sky goes back to normal and all three girls disappeared. Only one went back to camp the next year. That was Lucille. As for the other two, I only found their firstnames. Daisy and Samira. Maybe.. don't bring this up to Lucille."

The thread above was after Nala and Yvonne had had a questionable conversation too.

Nala: "I swear if Fennel makes me start liking the penguins I might just start terrorising people other than the counselors... Maybe not Lucille though. Not that I'm afraid of her, I'm not, but I think what I did before was a bit harsh.. eh, who knows. Maybe she's over it ��🏾‍♀️"

Yvonne: "…do I want to ask what you did to Lucille or no… also why do you have a account…"

Nala: "I've been watching you guys and figured out how to use one of these things! Anyways.. yeah, you don't want to ask what happened. But trust me, if you asked her, she'd have a more violent reaction.

All I'll say is, back then, I didn't have a good perception of time and mistook one of her friends for somebody else, and I may have, uhh.. traumatized her and another friend to "get revenge" on the wrong person"

Yvonne: "NALA..."

Nala: "I think all three of them are crazy now! Or, horrible people. Or both!"

Yvonne: "Wow. *slow clap*"

Nala: "I'm.. not sure why I told you that. If anyone, Fennel is the sort of person I'd confess this stuff too. Hmm."

After this, Yvonne runs back to her cabin, and tells Fennel about it.

Holy fucking shit she has angst

“While Nala is a deceptive asshole, she has the ability and enough humanity to care about people. That being said, her way to show care is by hurting those who hurt the people she cares about. Also, she is not good at showing she cares about someone, either that or she doesn't realise she's hurting and scaring Fennel.” - sent by me in the ooc GC, shared with other CH&T roleplayers.

There is no public information on her life just yet, but all I can say is she used to be a kind person, when she was alive, but somebody hurt her. Maybe it was an accident, maybe it was on purpose, but either way, her anger made her into a morally wrong “person”.

Night looked at the Pokemon and shook his head. "Ashburn, Luke." He held up two Pokeballs. Ashburn HATED it, but she had an idea what he planning. Once the Pokemon were returned, he grinned. "See you at the bottom." He ran towards the steeper slope and jumped, sliding down it and kicking up rocks. "Talk about swimming, trying rock sliding." He called out as he stumbled at the bottom and let the Pokemon back out. Ashburn rolled her eyes and lit the fire again. "Where....are we?" She scanned the rocks and started down a hall. Night dusted his jacket off and looked at Luke, who mumbled and walked past him.

Ashe observed carefully and rolled her eyes. "Take us down, Vision." The giant bird gently and slowly flew his way down until he landed with a loud and audible thump. Once Ashe and Lucky were off, he was returned to his pokeball and Nova skated across the cavern floor to her trainer, providing a flame with one blade raised.

Using the torch she held, she swung it around slowly. Writing on the walls and carvings caused her eyes to narrow. "... Hmm. Looks like humans once inhabited here with pokemon." Hisui residents? Maybe, but the writing didn't look familiar. "-- Also, you didn't answer my question, but considering you didn't i'm going to assume the answer is yes you thought about it but no, you don't want too." With that said, she shrugged.

"Some people travel and that's how they get stronger. That's what I chose to do and am still choosing... but otherwise, for you, I don't know what to say." She admits. "... I mean, you could always see how the local Academy Students are doing for Sinnoh--" Wait. "Sinnoh does have an academy, right?" She asks, looking over at him now. "Unova has Blueberry Academy. Galar has Cherry Academy... and Paldea has Naranja and Uva Academies."

Kanto and Johto had Indigo Academy, and so on and so forth had academies but... she had never heard of Sinnoh having one.

"Let's do a friendly, SFW RP blog for a change!" I said, then immediately created a spin-off of my grossest fanon character interpretation ever.

This'll just be a low-interaction in-character blog to figure out the life & exploits of Mundane Human AU Wallace as a "fandomless OC" for my own amusement. I cannot imagine anyone wanting to roleplay with such an offputting little bastard so for the moment considering this a semi-private blog, but future threads aren't off the table entirely depending on how attached I get to this loser shithead.

Basics

A shock-comedy "performance artist" born in Cheshire, England, Wallace Punch's Variety Act has been described by the few critics brave enough to stomach its entirety as "a one-man pantomime of The Aristocrats"---to paraphrase the sex-shop owner in Se7en, "the sort of guy who pisses in a cup on stage and then drinks it". Lots of prop-based humor and dead baby jokes, once landed himself in the hospital with salmonella after biting the head off a plucked dead chicken, another time was banned from the premises for bleeding all over the place when he pierced his nipples with safety pins. He has a small but dedicated fanbase of edgy groupies and is notorious for being mediocre in the sack whenever he does bed them; while not an outright rapist his incel energy is OFF THE CHARTS and if he starts joking about roofies that unfortunately means he likes you. Surprisingly not a drinker given his hair-trigger temper, Wallace prefers club drugs and is very casual about being hooked on amphetamines, definitely not above buying adderall from teenagers despite his age---very "Hello fellow youths" at whatever party he's crashing.

Though as crass and lecherous as his puppet blueprint, Wallace Punch is a complete 180 in other aspects---melancholic as opposed to violent, masking his insecurities with deranged jokes and a pathological need to have all eyes on him, secretly terrified of most animals because for some reason they tend to attack him, masochistic to a point that he's almost too kinky to torture and charismatic in a skanky way that keeps him surrounded by similarly-othered people, topped off with the type of personality disorder that no matter the size of the crowd egging him on, he tends to feel like the loneliest man in the world. Puts the "bi" in "bipolar"---eh, probably, there may not be a straightforward diagnosis for what's wrong with him, and he had a normal-enough childhood that there's no Freudian excuse for his antisocial behavior. Perhaps Wallace is just what happens when a mildly emotionally neglected 10 year old with unsupervised internet access starts stealing his mom's cigarettes and finds that negative attention is better than none.

Backstory, Etc.

The first major turning point in his life was being arrested at age 20 for assault with a weapon, and Wallace was lucky to only spend a year in prison for breaking his flatmate's jaw with a metal juggling torch as soon as he walked in the door---the judge was very lenient, taking into consideration that Wallace's motive was finding "fucked up photos of kids" while snooping through the guy's room for weed; however the case brought so much negative publicity to the Punch name & family restaurant that his father Harold disowned him, with the final comment "you always ran with a bad crowd, why don't you stick with them". This insult on top of the injury of a very rough stay in Wormwood Scrubs broke something in Wallace (it's the one aspect of his criminal history he won't brag about) and led him to start ramping up the show's indecency while using his real name as if to send the message that he wouldn't be so easily forgotten; beyond that he's a registered sex offender due to the number of times he's stripped on stage or taken a leak in public, had to crowdfund bail from fans when he was arrested for soliciting a prostitute while touring the United States, been fined for possession and public intoxication multiple times, regularly steals and engages in prostitution himself despite being quite comfortable from his eccentric aunt's inheritance "because it's fun", and had his license revoked for reckless driving because he's near-sighted yet refuses to wear glasses.

Despite these charges and the general misogynistic bent of his humor, there are quite enough women willing to ignore his many red flags out of sheer curiosity from the rumors (and video clips) that circulate. He's more popular with men, seeming to take pride in making other guys question their sexuality and having lost track of how many times he's heard "you look like a girl from the back"---with his short stature, alto voice, fat ass and flamboyant wardrobe the question as to his sex occasionally comes up, which he'll happily answer with a visual demonstration. Trans fans give him the t-slur pass because for all that he refuses to label himself, he does seem to have quite a fondness for skirts, stockings and tacky jewellery, and while he's definitely chaser-y about it his admiration for transsexuals' "commitment to the bit" in his words is genuine. Wallace isn't particularly bigoted towards one group more than others and will use whatever derogatory language comes to mind first, defaulting towards homophobia (because irony) and antisemitism (because I'm Jewish & comfortable "reclaiming" that, plus I think he'd say some funny shit about us controlling the entertainment industry) or just trash-talking a target's appearance ("Ya call that a moustache? It looks like you're eating a rat!") if sexual and racist epithets don't stick. He gets real enjoyment from audience members heckling him right back, seeming to consider a show a failure if there hasn't been at least one argument or disgusted walk-out.
