One of the most often misunderstood parts of Star Wars is the concept of giving in to the dark side
Too often there's the idea that when you give in, the dark side takes control of you
But it doesn't, it can't, the dark side is not some external force that you allow in
It's just you
The dark side is in you, it's in all of us, it's a terrible part of ourselves, it's the terrible impulses and emotions we feel and must consciously choose to resist
Giving in to the dark side is not someone else controlling you
Giving in to the dark side is when you stop controlling yourself

your leon wooloo sculpting comic post is like 2 years old at this point but its in my mind forever. i got my hands on some airdry clay a few weeks ago and started sculpting pokemon, and then abruptly remembered the comic. so i made the egg
Tumblr media
i dont have any actual tools yet (im working with an already-ruined pocket knife, a safety pin, paintbrushes, and plastic cutlery) so it arguably looks worse than leon’s, but now i dont want to make an actually good one
I'm so incredibly charmed by this little beast... I think in the comic the 'grill marks' on top of the egg wooloo is just bc leon squeezed the body piece a bit while connecting the head to it so that like. left imprints. but this is... what can I say this is a loaf. this is bread. this is the most beautiful little guy I would like to see frolic in the wide plain. look at their braid.... they have such exquisite shapes. you did perfectly and wonderfully with the tools you have!! thank you so very much for showing them to me. holds them tenderly in my hands
but in all seriousness I am really, really glad that out of all of my swsh stuff it's that comic that's gained this kind of longevity. I still need to finish up that comic triplet lol but that specific comic carried such a personally precious message for me about making things, one that I hold onto with tighter grip every day haha. there's fun in messing up! there's a lot of fun in making lumpy little things and then setting them out to roam the earth. the whole comic triplet is going to be about identities and the craft of them, so the interlude about learning to love imperfect creations and the process itself is crucial. and I am really, really glad it's that message that's gotten out there. it is an indescribable honor to see my little comic inspire people to make a little guy for themselves and find some good fun in the process, there's truly nothing better I can hope to happen to my art through it all. hope the little gods of goofing around keep you company with whatever you do next!

Loafeon (Grass/Fairy)
#??? - Eevee are uniquely adaptable Pokemon that are shaped by their diet, relationships, and environment. Grass/Fairy-type Eeveelutions, named Loafeon, have never been found far from human settlements and seem to exist solely alongside humankind. While there are several theories on the origin of these Pokemon, an anecdotal story persists as a common myth: There once was an Eevee that lived with a poor baker; without much other food to offer, the Eevee lived off of spare loaves from the baker. Over time, the unbalance nutrition of a bread diet was overcome by the natural adaptability of Eevee, with the apparent side effect of the spare carbohydrates producing an edible outer coat of bread. Though this tale does not explain how Loafeon have become relatively common, it is believed that feeding a beloved Eevee certain types of bread and pastries can trigger this evolution. Because Loafeon’s bread does not require dry heat like regularly produced baked goods, it is full of nutrients and healthy bacteria that are normally lost during the baking process. Similarly to shaving a Wooloo, a Loafeon’s bread can be safely harvested without harming the Pokemon. Rumor has it that pairing a Loafeon’s bread with a Daireon’s milk will boost the healthiness of both ingredients, though this has yet to be formally tested by Pokemon biologists.
This Loafeon was conceptualized and commissioned by @dannyundos.

zoroark that tries to sneak its baby into a human crib to act as a brood parasite, not realizing that a human will Definitely Know there's an extra baby now
I love that tho ... livestock farmer starts leaving food out hoping to acquire a guard dog . Zoroark mother goes ah :] baby will be nourished here --> farmer goes into their baby's room and finds an egg shoved into the crib instead of with the wooloos like they were expecting . Daughter gets a twin sister who becomes super protective of her as soon as they evolve

Hello! I'm a rancher at a working historical Miltank homestead/museum. We've got a small herd, some Dubwool and Wooloo, Skiddo, a sweet Mudsdale and a pair of Mudbray, the world's greatest hunting Delcatty, and... my favorite, a large collection of Torchic. Recently, I picked up one of the Torchic to handle and display for visitors, and I discovered (to my complete dismay) that she was missing a wing... and, uh, I don't mean like a congenital defect, I mean like a stump. Do you and the shelter staff have any tips or suggestions for ensuring that the other Torchic don't bully my baby Sephiroth? (Oh, yeah, I named her Sephiroth. She's my favorite.)
oh dear. do your torchic go into a coop at night? if so, check it for any possible way something like a zigzagoon or nickit got in. a wound to that extent isn't likely to have happened from another torchic- you'd expect peck wounds and burn marks, but not dismemberment. i hope she recovers alright. wounds like that are tricky and require some pretty intensive care. you'll need to keep her inside until your vet gives the all-clear. your vet can also give you an individualized plan for keeping her safe around the rest of the flock. the best i can do for you is recommend some livestock wound spray that doubles as an anti-pecking spray, such as blu-kote. it helps disguise wounds to discourage flock cannibalism.
your farm pokemon sound really cool btw! the only other thing i can say is that you should try to encourage the owner not to let the farm delcatty out to hunt. aside from the fact that they kill basically every small pokemon they find, they're a big toxoplasmosis risk to your wooloo and dubwool. delcatty aren't found in the wild in any region, even regions with skitty (there's a small population of feral delcatty in castelia, but that's from humans releasing them), and they can easily decimate the local populations of pokemon like taillow and rookidee. let native pokemon handle the pest control!

I know a lot of people already created an alternate evolution/fakemon for Wooloo based on the concept of “a wolf in sheep’s clothing”, but the other day I thought of “Awoo” (spelling out how a howl sounds), and it made “Awooloo” click in my head, so I had to draw something for it!
Occasionally, Wooloo and Dubwool will share their coats with young orphaned Pokemon, who slowly take to living with them as part of the flock. Some of these Pokemon would have otherwise been predators, but become protective of their adoptive family.
Awooloo are believed to be distant cousins of Rockruff, but have spent so many generations living with Wooloo, they now grow their own wool and have more in common with the sheep Pokemon, though they tend to be more nocturnal and still adept at hunting/tracking. They communicate with different howls, letting parental Pokemon know where lost infants are, or to warn the group of danger.
Werewool is the evolved form of Awooloo, made possible with a Moon Stone. Easier to distinguish from the sheep Pokemon it tends to live with, Werewool are fiercely protective of anybody they consider family, and are willing to adopt any young Pokemon in need, regardless of what it looks like. Occasionally, they will even rescue lost humans in the woods. Werewool see perfectly in the dark, when they defend their territory and hunt, but are generally docile during the day.

Great right? Finally an update to the iconic ship of Rebels
Well, there's one small problem
See that little figure?
That's supposed to be Jacen Syndulla...
Evidently we've just given up on the whole "Twi'lek/Human hybrid", like it wasn't great before but this is wow, and we thought the Grand Inquisitor and 5th Brother were bad

1st Anniversary Drawpile
For the 1st anniversary of this blog, I'm hosting a drawpile featuring others in their AROverse form wearing branded Rimi Club suit.
Here the four of the main cast:
Tumblr media
To join, reblog the transparent artwork of your character(s) anthropomorphized and wearing a suit like the group is wearing above (the full suit is under the cut).
Notes:
They are taller than normal. (unless if they have almost the same height as humans or taller than them).
It's recommended to draw them with traits remain, like paws/claws/hooves instead of hands (aka don't change them).
Already anthro characters are welcome to join. No humans and gijinkas please.
Some species like Dewott, Delphox, or Wooloo has a bottom fur, so feel free to draw them with trousers excluded.
There's no gender restrictions for this.
Drawpile ends on blog's anniversary: March 19, 2024 at 8 PM UTC.
Good luck!

May I request a platonic Hop x reader where the reader comforts him after losing to and being insulted by Bede?
When Hop ran off to challenge Bede in the Wilds Area after the latter insulted you both, you thought he could handle that snobby psychic-type user easily.
For you, taking down his team was like a walk in the park. None of his Pokémon stood a chance against you! So you didn't think there was anything to worry about as you continued onto Hammerlocke, wanting to get your hard-earned badges verified.
Along the way, you've battled some of the stronger wild Pokémon, rounding up a few to add to your team for the next gym challenges. Of course there were a few who were a bit too strong for you to capture at the moment, so you moved on quickly so you didn't get hurt.
But after getting approved by the agent, you were just about to climb the steps when Bede approached...with Hop nowhere to be found.
Much to your dismay, your best friend was defeated in their battle, and he just rubbed his victory in your face, convinced that Hop will withdraw from the challenge for sure. Apparently a few visitors have captured footage of their fight...which must've been a blow to the latter's self-esteem for sure.
Your blood was boiling, especially when Bede mocked Wooloo, claiming it's only a matter of time before it was abandoned.
Sure, he might've been endorsed by the chairman himself..but that's no excuse for his attitude and poor sportsmanship! He had no right talking to another human being like that!
You would've fought him right there and then...but decided not to give into anger as he smugly moved onto Hammerlocke. Instead, you opted to search for Hop, texting him several times to see if he was okay.
Unfortunately, there was no response from him, which was worrying. Although you've both grown in strength since first coming here, the Wild Area was still quite dangerous if he winded up in the wrong place.
After some backtracking, you finally found him trying to take on a very strong-looking Steelix, sending his Wooloo against the iron beast. But despite the obvious disadvantages of a normal type against steel, he kept pushing it to fight back.
Its attacks barely made it flinch.
Steelix chuffed at your friend's attempts to battle it, as though it pitied the little sheep for being forced to fight, before it summoned a sandstorm that blinded the two.
When Wooloo's attack missed because of the weather change, it bared a merciless smile and prepared an Iron Tail attack-
When all of the sudden a plush Clefairy doll was tossed into its field of vision, momentarily distracting it.
Through the blinding sand, Hop realized it was you who intervened, but before he could say anything, you rushed into the storm to grab his wrist.
"C'mon! It's too strong for either of us!!" You didn't wait for his response as you quickly yanked him out of the fight.
You knew he was reckless like his brother...but not to this degree. There's no way he'd act like this under normal circumstances.
Together you ran from the Steelix as the sandstorm subsided, and it growled as it noticed Wooloo fleeing as well, before returning underground.
Once you were both in one of the calmer areas, you let go of Hop's wrist, turning to frown at him. "What were you thinking?!" You huffed. "You're lucky I had a Poké Doll or else-!!"
However, your annoyance was quick to evaporate when you saw the tears welling up in his golden eyes.
Only then did you feel your heart sink with guilt.
"...s-sorry, I was just..trying to get stronger." He was struggling to keep himself together. But it was failing as he slumped against one of the trees, sliding down and covering his face with his hands. "P-Please don't tell Leon.."
He never wanted to be seen like this, especially not by his rival and best friend. Yet here you were, saving him and somehow knowing exactly what to do...while all he knew how to do was get hurt.
"No, I'm sorry for yelling, Hop. I promise I won't tell him." Kneeling down, you sighed softly, watching Wooloo attempt to comfort its trainer. "Listen..whatever Bede said isn't worth your tears. He just thinks he's better than everyone else."
"I-I know, but...it still hurt." He peeked at you through his fingers, sniffling. "The things he said to me...a-and Wooloo...they just stung, mate. And ya know what else? He....he thinks the gym leaders only gave me their badges out of pity."
"...what?! I'm gonna-!!!" You grew livid, but soon calmed down as you remembered getting angry would only make him feel worse. "I-I mean..that's stupid. You won those fair and square because it shows how strong you've grown."
"...you think so?"
"I know so." With a small smile on your face, you gently petted Wooloo. "And Wooloo does, too. Soon enough, he'll regret saying those awful things. We'll show him. Right?"
"Baaa!!" The little sheep nodded in agreement.
Hop just sat there in silence, wiping his tears away as doubt continued to fog up his mind. But when you opened your arms up to him, he accepted your hug, holding onto you tightly.
He never meant to become this depressed so early in the journey; he knew he'd be facing tough losses and not-so-polite trainers.
Though Bede's words just dug into him like a Cacturne's thorn..and he wondered if some of them were true.
But to know you didn't leave him behind was relieving, despite his worries about holding you back from getting all the gym badges. Nevertheless...he's grateful you looked for him and had his back no matter what.
"Next time, I'll have one of my ghost Pokémon hit him with a Max Phantasm." You lightly threatened.
That managed to get Hop to laugh a little, as you felt him relax in your arms. "...yeah, that oughta show him." Then he sighed, eventually letting go after a few moments longer. "I'm sorry again, [y/n]...and Wooloo..for pushing you into that fight."
The sheep nodded in understanding, returning to its pokeball at his request.
"I think..I'll focus on training my Pokémon and rearrange my team before I tackle the next gym." He leaned against the tree, eyes lingering on the pokeball with guilt. "If I'm ever gonna surpass Leon..I-I need to take my time. Form bonds..develop strategies...that's how he got to where he is today."
Then he looked to you, smiling tiredly. "Of course, you probably don't have to worry about all of that, [y/n]. You should really head onto Hammer-"
"Nah, I think..we should set up a camp here and just chill out for a little while." You suggested, standing up and offering your hand to him. "I'll cook up some delicious curry for our Pokémon. I found a killer recipe my team is addicted to."
"That sounds good, but...are you sure about-?"
"Yes."
"....alright! No need to tell me twice, mate!" That familiar sparkle in his eye returned as he grasped your hand, practically jumping to his feet as you helped him up. "That reminds me...I'm short on berries so...I'm gonna go shake that tree over there!"
Before you could see which tree he was pointing to, he took off into the tall grass that surrounded it, having his energy back. All you could do was chase after him, knowing he's gonna trip over a wild Pokémon or two.
"Hop, wait!! I have repels!!"

Hi, it’s been a while but this is the Lycanroc anon! Just wanted to update you on the rockruff that got her leg hurt after being trapped in Wooloo wool. She’s recovered and there was an attempt to return to her family but the rangers had to intervene when the pack seemed to reject her for some reason… so guess who my Grandpa adopted?
Congratulations on your new friend! I'm sure she'll adapt very quickly to her new farm life. Sometimes packs will reject a pup if they smell too much like human -or Wooloo- and there's not much we can do about it, Rangers made the right choice to intervene.
On the bright side, Rockruffs are great working 'mons, and they are fiercy royal on top of that, so I think your Gramps made a great choice! Hopefully she won't get.. tangled in a bad situation again.
