Thinking about Brucie Wayne again. *sigh*

Specifically the way Brucie turns up the comedy meter to a hundredthousand. Like, that man knows comedy, he studied it, perfected the comedy formula.

How strange must it be for someone who knows him as Mr.Deadseriousallthetime to see him crack jokes. Really funny jokes. They actually have to laugh at them too. But over the course of the evening, they realise, the jokes are always on time, always with the perfectly pitched voice and handgestures, always with those expressions perfect for the situation that would be normal for anybody else but are extremely exaggerated on Bruce's part. Then they're alone for a sec and Brucie returns to his usual no-nonsense self and talks about a mission or gives crucial info on sb. And then it hits them that this is all an act and that Bruce could be funny, hell, he could be hilarious, if he wanted to. But it wouldn't really be him, would it?

Idk where to go with this, honestly. Only the part about the realisation that it's all manufactured and that Bruce acts more machine than human does things to me hsfhfbvjksnfvwjbfvu

This scratched right in the good parts of my brain, anon. That switch between what is and what is has always been fascinating to me in regards to Bruce. The fact that you can never truly be sure. The fact that he could do so much more, take and manipulate so much more trust, and doesn't.....oof.

Stony Art Chain Relay - CHAIN TWO

Over the last few months, I have had the utter delight and joy to run an event we dubbed the Stony Art Chain Relay. Five chains of artists were formed, the first artist designed a version of Steve and Tony from their imagination, then each art piece was passed to the next artist in the chain to re-draw, re-imagine, or re-design that piece however they wanted, while keeping the core of the character design itself. I can’t believe (actually I can, because Stony artists are amazing) how creative and gorgeous and inspiring and incredible the results are!!

Also 'its viral on tiktok' is very relative since its an alogorithm based app for example a friend of mine gets non stop tiktoks about those white birds with hundreds of thousands likes but i have never even seen one while i only get genshin, cats and dteam stuff also with likes in the tens to hundredthousands some even over a million 🤷

Okay so this was the first of this series that I thought about, and it’s inspired by @hundredthousands-art’s art here https://hundredthousands-art.tumblr.com/image/677287318243196928 (it doesn’t look anything alike but it was very similar in my memory) (psst you should go look at their other works it’s gorgeous) and by my love for the image of giant whale bones at the bottom of the ocean, as seen here (and in general giant ribs and spines, which are the coolest thing ever, including those of, like, boats). So Tony’s thing could have been his brain, obviously, because his real superpower is that he’s smart. But. The arc reactor is the thing that’s his, visually. Also the source of his power (as the thing that powers the suits) and his greatest weakness (as in you remove it he dies, and also it has strong negative side-effects on his everyday life). And it’s a running joke in the movies, “proof that Tony Stark has a heart“, and it’s a running theme in some comic runs that he’s deeply kind.
