Arguments

Day four of @angelcloves half mil extravaganza, 500 words/free space. Hunter and Luz get into a heated argument and Luz says something that hits Hunter harder than she would have liked. I couldn't write this in just 500 words ��

Warnings: Arguing, flashback, PTSD, killing (mentioned), guilt, parents, siblings

Hunter and Luz were arguing. Which was normal. But this one was worse than normal. Eda and Rain were trying to get the two teenagers separated before someone got hurt.

"Luz, Hunter, drop it," Eda said firmly as the two teens argued.

"Oh yeah, like how Luz dropped an important document!?" Hunter said.

"That was one time!" Luz said, struggling to get out of Eda's grasp.

"Oh yeah, like how you helped Belos meet the collector?"

"Well, at least I never directly killed anyone!"

Luz didn't even think about what she said until she saw Hunter's reaction. Hunter was frozen. He dropped onto his knees and Raine let his arms go.

"Oh, titan. Why did I say that?" Luz muttered under her breath. "Hunter I'm s-"

"Don't apologize. If anyone is apologizing it should be me."

"Hunter, you don't have to apologize. It wasn't your fault!" Eda said as she let Luz go.

"It was my fault! Why are you even giving me hospitality? I killed wild witches, you used to be a wild witch!" Tears were coming from Hunter's eyes.

"Hunter, you're still a kid!" Eda went over to him and squeezed his shoulder. She didn't realize how hard she was squeezing until Hunter kneeled on one knee. "Hunter, no! I am not Belos!" Hunter looked up and his ears went red from embarrassment.

"Sorry about that. It won't happen again."

"I hope you're right. Rainestorm can you please make him some tea?"

Raine nodded, turned on their heel, and walked into the kitchen.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm s-"

"Kid, stop apologizing. Please."

Hunter nodded.
