Currently slightly obsessed with your characterisation of Diego de Vil, do you have anything to share?

I do!

Part of the reason Diego is so brutal and has such showmanship of it is because if everyone focuses on him, then no one is paying attention to Hunter

He fell in love with Harriet the moment he met her. Someone had tried to kill CJ and she killed them instead. It was the day he devoted his life to her

He hates the feeling of blood on him. He often dissociates in the aftermath of his work due to this

He's afraid to get too close to Anthony. He doesn't want to taint him more than he already is

If he was ever to chose between his family and his partners, he isn't sure who he would chose

Him and Sammy get along surprisingly well considering Diego has a tendency to rile up Harriet. (It's cause he also has a calming effect on her)

At least once a month until Carlos went to Auradon, Diego would ask Carlos to move out of Hell Hall. Carlos didn't have to go to the docks with him or Ivy, he could go stay with Hunter, but staying at Hell Hall was going to kill him. And Carlos's death would've broken Diego

The closest Diego came to death was due to Cruella. He was 11 and it took a 5 hour emergency surgery to stabilize him

Hehe the last de Vil. I haven't really mentioned him much and it was far over due.

Hunter existed in the shadows. The Isle barely knew he existed, only remembering when they saw glimpses of him next to Diego or Carlos or on one very memorable occasion Ivy. He was nothing but a whisper in the wind, a flash of white in the dark.

He watched as Anhe gathered information for the Crimson, as Maeve traded with the cannibals for clothing, as Celia remained locked away in her family’s buildings. He saw it all. The Isle was often foolish and forgetful, people disappeared without a trace and time seemed nonexistent. Perhaps that’s why only his family remembered he was older than the Isle. Granted he was only four when he was sent here, but it does mean he saw so much that the adults don’t mention and the kids don’t know.

He remembered the Mims clawing their way into relevance, the ragged clothing and desperate eyes to make something of themselves, most of the gangs were formed that way actually. He had guided some, mainly the Golden Escape but also the Shadow’s Keep. Maddy had also been so helpless, without the Overgrowth she would’ve been dead within a few months.

All he wanted was for his family to survive, if that meant the Isle did well then so be it. If it meant the Isle had to burn, then it would burn.

Hunter de Vil was a silent watcher of the Isle, only stepping in when absolutely necessary. Only on his Family’s behalf.

With the show ending abruptly with one season (for now), I've seen many art-pieces from the 101DS fandom depicting their own takes on what happened with Hunter after that fateful night in the battle against her own great aunt, Cruella De Vil.

Malcolm seemed to be fond of ponytails, and I think the hairstyle really suits Hunter. It could ultimately be up to the staff members if they ever find the moment to gather again for a potential 101DS Season 2 though, but a 101DS fan can dream!
