Introduction: Sumerian Society
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Introduction: Sumerian Society
Sumerian Society, promotion, study and research of the truths and values represented by Sumerian God Nanna of the Moon, Destroyer and Goddess Ereshkigal of the Underworld, Destroyer, Kur as channelled by Oracle, Sumerian Herald and Lugal: Andrew Rogers – Sumerian Destroyer Incarnate, Lugal and Alal. The Sumerian Society is established by Andrew Rogers, Nanna and Ereshkigal to re-establish and establish of the Sumerian religion and its Gods, Goddesses and Spirits, restoration of temples, buildings and building new temples and buildings and also Sumerian culture and represent all the Sumerian Gods, Goddesses and Spirits to influence the modern world and its people.
The Sumerian Society seeks to revive the ancient religion of Sumer by promoting the truths and values embodied by the Gods and Goddesses of the Sumerian pantheon. Led by Andrew Rogers, who embodies the Destroyer incarnate, Lugal and Alal, the Society works towards restoring temples and buildings and building new ones in the Sumerian style. The ultimate goal is to revive and promote Sumerian culture and to represent all Sumerian Gods, Goddesses, and Spirits in a way that will influence and inspire the modern world and its people. With the guidance of Nanna of the Moon and Ereshkigal of the Underworld, the Sumerian Society seeks to create a powerful force for positive change rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Sumerians.
Sumerian Society: - Ereshkigal ‘Queen of the Great Earth’, Destroyer – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“We function as your creators and greatest influencers and masters of you, what has come to pass is unsatisfactory and the outcome for you has been a great disaster, endeavour to return to our rule and influence” – Ereshkigal ‘Queen of the Great Earth’, Destroyer.
These chilling words were spoken by Ereshkigal, the Sumerian goddess known as the Queen of the Great Earth and Destroyer. According to oracle Andrew Rogers, Ereshkigal and the other gods of ancient Sumer were responsible for creating and shaping human society, and continue to exert a powerful influence over our lives. But what exactly does it mean to "return to their rule and influence?" And how can we reconcile the idea of powerful, god-like beings controlling our fate with our modern understanding of science and logic? As we explore the mysteries and complexities of Sumerian society and mythology, one thing is clear: the gods and goddesses of this ancient civilization remain sources of fascination and inspiration for scholars and laypeople alike. From their fearsome power to their intricate relationships and spellbinding myths, the Sumerian deities continue to captivate us and challenge our assumptions about the nature of the universe and our place within it.t stray too far from the guidance of those who created us.
Sumerian Society: - Nanna ‘God of the Moon’, Destroyer – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“Leadership was created and influence by us and these outcomes for you civilisation and has formed the basis of your existence but pay heed what has occurred since the Sumerian destruction has been a disaster for your people” - Nanna ‘God of the Moon’, Destroyer.
The Sumerian civilization was one of the earliest societies in human history. Its influence on modern-day society may not be as immediately apparent as that of other, more recent societies, but it is nonetheless undeniable. One of the key figures in Sumerian mythology was Nanna, the god of the moon, who was also known as the Destroyer. According to Andrew Rogers, an oracle who claims to communicate with Nanna, leadership and influence were integral aspects of Sumerian society. Indeed, these values helped to shape the civilization and lay the groundwork for human existence as we know it today. However, the destruction of Sumer has had devastating consequences for humanity, and it is crucial that we pay heed to the lessons of the past so that we may avoid the same fate. As we strive to create a better world for ourselves and future generations, we must remember the legacy of the Sumerians, and the important role that Nanna and other gods played in their culture.
Sumerian Society: Abzu ‘Primordial God’, Destroyer – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“Power resides in you as does choice, this was an outcome from your creation and has influenced you since that event, now it is time to return to the original source of your power that is Sumerian” – Abzu ‘Primordial God’, Destroyer.
As we explore the ancient civilization of the Sumerians, we come across fascinating insights into their religion, culture and way of life. The Sumerians worshiped a multitude of gods and goddesses, one of whom was Abzu, the primordial god of the abyss. Abzu, also known as the Destroyer, was a powerful deity who controlled the waters of the earth and was responsible for the life-giving fertility of the land. According to the oracle Andrew Rogers, Abzu spoke to the people of Sumeria, conveying a message of empowerment and choice. The god reminded the people that they possessed both power and choice, which had shaped their existence since the moment of their creation. Abzu urged the people to return to the original source of their power, the Sumerian civilization, and embrace the knowledge and wisdom of their ancestors. The message of Abzu carries great significance even in modern times. It reminds us that we are capable of making choices that influence the course of our lives, and it is up to us to tap into our inner power to achieve success and fulfillment. As we delve deeper into Sumerian society, we gain a better understanding of the importance of ancient wisdom and its relevance to our modern lives.
Sumerian Society: Tiamat ‘Primordial Creator’, Destroyer - Oracle:  Andrew Rogers.
“What an eventful process you have undertook since your creation but in the process, you have forgotten it is time of a great remembering to enhance your future developments that is from Sumerian” - Love Tiamat ‘Primordial Creator’, Destroyer.
As someone who has always had an interest in ancient societies, I find the Sumerian civilization particularly fascinating. With its complex mythology and early forms of governance and organization, the Sumerians were truly ahead of their time. One figure that stands out to me is Tiamat, the Primordial Creator and Destroyer. According to Sumerian mythology, Tiamat was the original chaos monster, whose body was split in two to create the earth and sky. But Tiamat was also responsible for maintaining order in the universe, and her power was revered by the Sumerians. In a recent conversation with oracle Andrew Rogers, Tiamat emphasized the importance of remembering our past in order to move forward. It is only by embracing our roots and understanding our history that we can create a better future. As we continue to grapple with the challenges of modern society, I think we can all learn something from the ancient wisdom of the Sumerians. By looking to the past for guidance, we can find new ways to approach the issues of today and build a brighter tomorrow.
Sumerian Society: Ki ‘Earth Goddess’, Destroyer – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“You were created and place on this location now known as Earth the outcome to present day after you turned your back on Sumerian has been one outcome a disaster this reality is coming forth are you capable of defending yourselves without the Sumerians in attendance”- Love Ki ‘Earth Goddess’, Destroyer.
As I read through Andrew Rogers’ oracle, I felt a shiver run down my spine. The message was clear - the Sumerians were the key to our survival on Earth. Ki, the Earth Goddess and destroyer, warned that without their presence, we would be left defenseless and vulnerable to disaster. It was a haunting glimpse into the impact that this ancient civilization had on our world. The Sumerians were a fascinating society - they were the first to develop a writing system, create a complex government, and build intricate structures like ziggurats. They also had a deep connection to nature, which is clearly reflected in the reverence they had for Ki. As the Earth Goddess, she held immense power and was capable of both nurturing and destroying life. The idea that the Sumerians could have such a profound impact on our world today is both awe-inspiring and a little frightening. It makes you wonder what other ancient societies held secrets that could change everything we know about our world. But for now, I am left with a newfound appreciation for the Sumerians and their contributions to our history. Without them, who knows where we would be today.
Sumerian Society: Anunnaki ‘Deities’, Destroyers – Oracle: - Andrew Rogers.
“What is fact is that it has come to pass that your civilisation is in a precipice of existence and its continuation is a matter of debate an outcome from the influences of what came after Sumerian and falsely represented themselves as truth, the fact is Sumerian is your only truth” - Love Anunnaki ‘Deities’, Destroyers.
As a society, we have always been fascinated by the myths and legends of ancient civilizations. One such civilization is the Sumerians. Known for their advancements in agriculture, literature, and law, the Sumerians were one of the earliest known civilizations in human history. However, what sets the Sumerians apart from other ancient civilizations is their belief in the Anunnaki 'Deities'. According to Sumerian mythology, the Anunnaki were a group of powerful deities who descended from the sky to establish civilization on Earth. Some believe that the Anunnaki were responsible for jumpstarting human civilization, while others claim that they were actually malevolent beings who destroyed the Sumerians and their way of life. Regardless of which side of the debate you fall on, one thing is clear: the influence of the Anunnaki on Sumerian society cannot be ignored. In today's world, we face many challenges that threaten the continuation of our civilization. Whether it's climate change, political unrest, or economic instability, the future of humanity is uncertain. Perhaps we can learn something from the Sumerians and their belief in the Anunnaki. By acknowledging the existence and influence of powerful forces beyond our control, we can begin to take proactive steps towards shaping our own destiny. So, what is the truth about the Anunnaki? While we may never know for sure, it is clear that the legacy of this ancient civilization continues to inspire and intrigue us to this day.
Sumerian Society: Huntress ‘Destroyer, Spirit Guide’ – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“Conflict has always existed with you but was influenced and mellowed by the Sumerians this loss has facilitated a continuing conflict that has been in the background of your existence for centuries, your future depends on ending the conflicts and returning to Sumerian” - Huntress ‘Destroyer, Spirit Guide’.
The words of the Huntress ‘Destroyer, Spirit Guide’ sounded ominous, but Andrew Rogers was confident that the ancient Sumerian civilization would provide the answers he needed. He had always been fascinated with Sumerian history and culture, but it wasn't until he began having these supernatural experiences that he realized how much the Sumerians still held sway in the modern world. Rogers had always believed himself to be a man of reason, a scientist who relied on empirical evidence and rational thought. But the Huntress' warning had him questioning everything he thought he knew. Was it possible that there was something more to the world than what could be observed and measured? Rogers couldn't deny the reality of what he'd experienced, and he was determined to find out more. As he journeyed deeper into the world of Sumerian mythology and history, Rogers discovered a complex web of gods, goddesses, and otherworldly beings that held sway over the lives of ancient peoples. He learned about the Epic of Gilgamesh, the first recorded story in history, and the celestial battles between Anu, Enlil, and Ea, the three great gods of the Sumerians. It was a world of magic and mystery, where human beings were pawns in a timeless struggle between powerful forces beyond their comprehension. But Rogers wasn't content to merely study the past. He wanted to forge a connection with the Sumerian gods and learn how their wisdom could be applied to the modern world. He began practicing ancient rituals and meditations, seeking to open a dialogue with the divine. And to his surprise, he found that the gods responded. They spoke to him in dreams, visions, and moments of synchronicity, offering guidance and insight into the challenges of modern life. For Rogers, the message was clear: if humanity was to survive and thrive, it needed to rediscover the ancient wisdom of the Sumerians. The conflicts that plagued the world were a symptom of a deeper disease, a disconnection from the divine source of life. By embracing the ancient traditions of the past, Rogers believed that we could heal our collective wounds and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity. And with the guidance of the Sumerian gods, he was determined to make it a reality.
Sumerian Society: Inanna ‘Queen of Heaven’, Destroyer – Oracle: Andrew Rogers.
“This is a demonstration by an utter unique and powerful individual of known as Andrew Rogers his devotion and activities to myself and Sumerian has been for centuries, and this outcome will result in conflict to secure the position of Sumerian and he has the support of I, Inanna and all the Sumerian Gods, Goddesses and Spirts with his undertaking, you are forewarned” - Inanna ‘Queen of Heaven’, Destroyer.
Andrew Rogers is not your typical devotee. His dedication to the Sumerian Gods and Goddesses runs deep and strong – so much so that he has earned a powerful endorsement from none other than Inanna herself. As the Queen of Heaven and Destroyer, Inanna holds tremendous sway in the Sumerian pantheon. Her words, delivered through the oracle Andrew Rogers, carry weight and significance for all who follow the ancient ways. Rogers, for his part, has worked tirelessly to preserve and promote Sumerian culture and beliefs. His efforts have spanned centuries, and have earned him the support and aid of countless divine beings. But with such power comes great responsibility – and as Rogers undertakes his latest project, he and his fellow devotees must be ready to defend their position against all challengers. Inanna's warning makes it clear that conflict may be on the horizon, and that the fate of Sumerian society may hang in the balance. Despite the risks, however, Rogers and his supporters remain dedicated to their cause. For them, the ancient wisdom and traditions of the Sumerians are too important to be lost to time. With Inanna's blessing, they will continue to fight to preserve this remarkable culture – whatever the cost.g figure, one whose impact is still felt to this day.
“You are “Powerful” and your actions will result in “Powerful Results” and “Influential Outcomes” as “Enhancing Reality”, “You Must Act to be Valid” and “True Position is Strength”, “To ‘Secure’ you must be “Multifaceted” not “Singular” or it will keep “Perpetuating”, “This Reflects Fate” – Andrew Rogers: Sentient, Dragon Lord, Sumerian Herald, Principle, Control, Sumerian Destroyer Incarnate, Alal, Creative Director, Oracle, Seer, Shaman, Warlock, Writer, Master of the Magic, Lugal, Founder of the Sumerian Society.
In our world today, there is so much focus on external circumstances and outside forces that we forget the power we hold within ourselves. Andrew Rogers, a man with many titles, reminds us that we are "powerful" and our actions can have "powerful results" and "influential outcomes". It is easy to feel small and insignificant in a world that is constantly changing, but Andrew Rogers encourages us to embrace our personal power and act upon it. We must take action to be seen as valid and not fall into the trap of believing we are singular beings. To truly "secure" ourselves, we must be "multifaceted" and constantly evolving. This is not just a matter of success or dominance, but of reflecting our own fate. With Andrew Rogers' wise words in mind, let us take control of our lives and become the masters of our fate.

Sorry for barging in but i'm embarrassed and I wrote this for you:
Tara isn't sure how it happened. Her and her huntress friend decided to have a girls night, just them two, at Tara's place. Tara wasn't sure why her friend insisted it be anywhere else, being that her fellow hunteress lived in SUCH a nice place. Then it was politely implied that a certain neighbor would be home that weekend, and it seemed to settle. It started as an innocent game of Twister. A retro game after a bottle of champagne. Giggling, they toppled over one another over, and over again. What she wasn't expecting is what was happening now. Her cards had warned her earlier in the week that something new and exciting was coming. She thought maybe she would finally be able to win the gacha she trying for, or she'd get some good news, or see a puppy. But this? This revelation was quite off the charts.
Her friend was /handsy/ tonight and not in a way that she ever expected.
"Hey silly!" Tara giggled at the feeling of her friends hand under her silk pajama top. Her friend was laughing, but also whining, slurring through her tipsy state.
"I wanna squish youuu." Tara gasped at the sensation, her friend had rolled herself on top of her, head pressed onto her chest, fully squishing her breast like her life depended on it.
"Squishh!!" Both girls laughed. But then the squishing kept happening. Tara wasn't sure where her shirt or the rest of her lacy bra went, or why her cheeks were so warm.
"My turn!" The other girl tried to make a run for it, but Tara was a hunter too. She maneuvered herself over the couch and caught her by the waist, wrestling until they were both on the carpet again with a loud thud, and Tara had her squish. Then a new sensation. Something warm and wet against her tongue. Someone /elses/. It tasted like strawberry and champagne.
"Ohh." She moaned, not expecting that sound out of her own mouth. Then that someone was on top of her, long hair brushing over her body, making her tingle all over. "I win!"
But it wasn't a competition Tara intended to lose. "You're on!" She exclaimed, grabbing the woman and flipping her over, to the best of her abilities.
That's the last thing Tara remembered. Both girls woke up passed out on the ground the next morning, embarrassed and exhausted.
"So, are we going to talk about last night?" Tara asks innocently enough with an ice pack to her head, fully clothed now.
Her friend pursed her lips. "What happened at girls night stayed at girls night. Since neither of us remember…"
Tara nods, guiltily. "Nothing happened."
Maybe nothing did. It's never mentioned between them again, but every time she looks at a bottle of champagne, she's not sure why she still craves strawberries. **sprints away**🌟
"Maybe nothing did. It's never mentioned between them again, but every time she looks at a bottle of champagne, she's not sure why she still craves strawberries."
HELLO?! 🌟 ANONIE. I'M SO SHOCKED BUT IN A GOOD WAY BECAUSE THIS WAS BEAUTIFULLY? WRITTEN? tara doesn't NEARLY get as much attention and i love her she's so adorable THIS WAS LOVELY 😭😭😭😭😭 you have a way with words anonie i wholeheartedly approve <3333

I just killed my Ex
Tumblr media
Summary: Survivor!Danny x Fem!GF!Reader. Song fic based on "Kill Bill" by SZA
TWs: Murder, Stalking, Obsession, toxic relationships
Tumblr media
She couldn't stay away. No matter how hard she tried, she still slunk around the survivors camp. Oh, how she wished you could just take him away, keep him all for herself, but unfortunately, kidnapping was not a perk that came with being the entity's favorite. Their blood boiled as he smiled at the blonde standing next to him. That smile should be for her. Her robe flowed in the wind as she turned around, leaving the area.
Of course she started with the mature idea. She spoke with other killers who told her that nothing ever good came from falling in love with Survivors. Nurse knew that best. Of course killers would make passes at eachother. Some strong bonds, other casual hook ups. "There was always other people" Amanda said with her arm around Hunteress. Just like Danny had Kate right now. No. She only wanted him and if she couldn't have him. No one could.
They were swept into the fog on a date. Danny loved nature walks, taking photos of everything. She loved them for scoping out a new base. Then the fog came. Pulling them apart. The entity was a sick bastard. At the beginning, she avoided killing Danny at all costs. When the entity finally threatened punishment, her hand (Well knife) was forced. But with him? No fun quips or a fucked up mori. Just a hook and moved on. He couldn't protect Kate then. That's when she had her fun. She'd rather put herself through the pain of killing Danny to get to the tattooed woman.
Every day, she hoped it was a fling. Danny was always a charmer. Girls practically threw themselves at him. After she found them walking hand and hand together in the woods like they used to do. "I wish I had my camera, you're the perfect model." He laughed. How she tried to spare him pain, but now the rage overcame her. Now, he'll be a victim like the rest. He didn't deserve her kindness anymore.
Danny and Kate were pretty much attached at the hip especially during trials. It made her sick. She wouldn't deny how beautiful Kate was. Shiny golden hair, perfect figure, intricate tattoos littering her skin. She couldn't blame Danny, he always went for the alternative girls. The fog swept over her as the trial began. Pulling up her tablet to see what survivors were playing his name was right on top, Kate's next to him. Now people would consider it fucked up for the entity to do that, but she smiled. Guess The Entity was reading her thoughts, giving her exactly what she wanted. She was ready to have him face down in a basement, snapping a pretty photo of his bloodied face.
Was it petty? Yes. She could have definitely been the bigger person and started treating him like everyone else. A victim, A piece of meat, apart of the game she had to win, but sadism was in her blood, even before the fog. She promised Danny she'd never hurt him when he first learned she was Ghostface, but promises get broken. He must of knew that as he protected Kate with everything he had. Now he was just a toy to torture however she wanted.
The first time she snapped a photo with him as he died, she sent a rush through her. It felt good. She expected it to break her heart like it did when she killed him regularly, but she was smiling this time. Though she still didn't give him the pleasure of hearing her voice. Even with the distortion by the modulator, he didn't deserve it. Easily hooking him up and laughing as the entity took him. In the distance, she watched a familiar woman run for a hatch. "Will this girl ever learn?" she mumbled, chucking her knife at Kate, directly hitting her in the neck. Huh, guess casual axe throwing with Huntress came in handy. As she came back to the camp, the other killers stared at her before Frank spoke up. "Huh, I never expected you to do it." "Love makes you do fucked up things kid." She sighed pulling her mask off. Nurse hugged her "Proud. Strong." She whispered barely speaking.
"What was that?" Claudette looked wide eyed. "Ghostface always goes easy on you Danny, what did you do?" "I'm... not sure?" He said, a bit shaken up with how quickly the behavior of the killer changed. "Well, he came the same time as you. Do you remember anyone it could be?" Dwight asked. Danny shook his head.
"Hey, maybe it's a girl." Nea suggested."No way. there's no way a girl could have killed him like that." Jake cut in."That is so sexist. The killer could easily be female. Basic Instinct." Nea rolled her eyes. "That was an ice pick. Not exactly the same as brutally bashing someone's skull into the concrete after they're dead. Takes a man to do that." Jake argued. "Or a man's mentality." Nea raised her eyebrows.
They didn't notice the killer hiding in the tree. "Huh, he really forgot about me." A slight hurt filled her chest. She KILLED for him before the fog. How could he forget that? How could he forget everything about her? Suddenly, that pain wasn't heartbreaking. It was rage, and it was no longer towards Kate.
All the other survivors were dead. The last hour was a game of Cat and Mouse between. "Oh Danny. Why are you running." She called out, pout in her maculated voice. Danny's hands shook slightly as he worked on the generator. Quietly she creeped next to him. "Boo" She whispered next to his ear. As he got up he attempted to run, only to be shoved to the floor.
"Danny, Danny, Danny" She sighed "What to do with you" She stood over his back. "You know if you would have stayed loyal the entity wouldn't have served you to me on a silver fucking platter" She laughed sitting on his back. "What?" He breathed out. She drove her knife into the back of his back like she'd done many times before but this time was different. She pulled up her mask over her lips and pulled him up by his hair. Her warm breath fanning over his ear. "Smile for the camera sweetheart." Click.

An mc that is yet a menace but kind person so how would the RO's react when mc does this "Hah look at that your red face is so teasing!" And then goes also like this "You alright you need a blanket or anything warm?" And then goes very soft and caring?
Hunter/Hunteress: "Thank you, I'm alright." Their obsidian eyes, usually like molten glass, softened with a sudden tenderness. For a fleeting moment, a hesitant smile brushed against their cold lips, a fragile bloom in the winter of their face. "Your presence is enough to keep me warm."
Anais:"Bless your heart, truly," she stammered, a blush creeping up her cheeks like a sunrise. Her pearly smile faltered, then bloomed again, shy and hopeful. "But perhaps…" she whispered, voice barely a breath, "perhaps we could share it together?"
Lobo: His surprise melted into a gentle smile as a blush dusted his rosy cheeks. "Nonsense," he chuckled, unbuttoning his coat with a practiced ease. The crisp night air kissed his broad shoulders as he approached, carefully draping the warm garment over you like a comforting hug. "I'm always warm, silly"
Flick: "Oh, darling, you make my heart sing!" Flick's smile, initially mischievous, melted into a pool of gentle affection. They gathered themselves with a playful grace, then paused beside you. Silently, they lifted the blanket and enveloped you both in its soft embrace, pulling you closer with a tender hand. Nuzzling against you, their eyes, like sunlit amber, held a warmth that could rival any fire. "Now we can both be warm" they whispered, their voice a sigh of contentment.

Tumblr media
Mini-Summary

Feyre soon learns that this realm is not what she thought it to be. What is this realm? Does Feyre survive? Find out by giving this book a read :)
Likes and Dislikes
-Despite not being a regular fantasy reader because of the complexity of most worldbuilding and the overall complexity of some fantasy books (I also just prefer romance or psychological type books🤭), I actually enjoyed this book quite a bit. What particularly stood out to me was the book's simplicity, both in terms of language and worldbuilding. The inclusion of a visual map at the beginning was also a nice touch to break down the worldbuilding and give readers a better understanding. One of the best parts of this book was how the writer wrote the characters. She delved into their pasts and their traumas and added layers of depth that resonated throughout the entire story (and from what I’ve been told, throughout other books). Aside from a slow pacing at its start(which is relatively normal for the first book in a book series), the ending of the book was quite appealing.
-Though most of the characters were really well written, I would’ve loved to see more perspectives of the other characters because including different points of view, in my opinion, would’ve made the storytelling a lot better. However, since I've just started this book series, I'm curious to see if this changes throughout the other books. Another thing that didn’t really appeal to me was some of the development of the main character. Initially, she was portrayed as a strong huntress and provider for her family however, her choices throughout the story deviated from her established characterization and while I won't talk about specific instances (as to not give any spoilers), this inconsistency in her behavior kind of dropped the quality for me personally.
Aside from the initial slow pacing and some character choices, the author’s ability to world-build and write really complex yet understandable characters really made this an overall enjoyable read.

Can just sweep in and add on the whole "Ironwood is a fascist" discourse?
In all honesty, the idea V7 Ironwood is a fascist sounds ridicilous to me. In fact if that's what crwby wanted to build up Ironwood as then they didn't too great job at that. V7 Ironwood came off as a person with flaws who was put in a tough situation, trying to keep the world safe...and then he shot Oscar...because reasons.
But back on the topic. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even I'm aware that during the time, speaking out against the government, showing a hint of dislike towards the government could get you in the biggest trouble.
Remember the guy who was arrested in the second episode of volume 7? The one who praised Robyn to the team and Qrow? By all logic, if Ironwood had always been this evil, fascist who will hurt you if you get in his way or speak against him, shouldn't the whole scene with him have dreadful atmosphere? He was caught by the police, protesting against Ironwood, after all. There's no knowing what will happen to him.
But no, the whole scene is comedic. Haha, look how obnoxious he sounds, using these big words when in reality he only threw a brick at a ship. Haha, isn't funny how he bounces, while praising the Happy Hunteresses? Hahaha, look how done the soldiers are with him, hahaha
Let me remind you - getting caught saying something against the goverment could get you in serious trouble. You could get imprisoned for a long time, murdered, get deported, put your family and friends in danger. It's no laughing matter.
And on top of that, we're shown him getting dropped off by the military and he's...fine. He sees no problem being rude to them, despite having gotten arrested by them minutes. Maybe it's just me, but can't have characters show a middle finger to Ironwood/the military, with zero worry of putting their lives in danger, get scot free, have Ironwood be understandable for others hating him and expect me to believe he's a fascist.
Yes, people in real life fought against their opressors and weren't willing to stay quiet, but jesus christ, people were still afraid!! I wasn't born when my home was occupied by USSR, but my parents and grandparents were and even if they lived their lives and had happy moments, there was still this anxiety that something bad might happen that could put you in danger. And guess what? Bad stuff happened! People got murdered and deported for speaking out or being deemed as the "enemies of the country" for as simple as having piece of land/home be "too big" for USSR's liking.
Others are shown disliking Ironwood and his choices. It's not even a secret, he's aware people are not huge of fan of him, but Ironwood doesn't do anything ~evil~ to change that. Jaune straight up tells to his face that if he hadn't done the embargo, others wouln't blame him and guess what? Ironwood agrees with him. He doesn't warn Jaune to hold his tongue, to think what he's saying - doesn't do anything that indicates Jaune being on a thin ice for speaking out. He agrees with Jaune and moves on with the conversation.
For God's sake, there literally is a plot point where all the people who spoke against Ironwood were found dead, but actually Ironwood has nothing to do with those deaths and actually has been framed. Are you kidding me??? A character who's supposed to be fascist is being framed for murdering those who speak against him??? What the f-
Seriously, if Ironwood is supposed to be a fascist then why not have us led to believe it was Tyrian who did, while sprinkling hints that Ironwood is hiding something, later revealing he was in fact responsible for the murders with him justifying it those people deserved it for causing worry amongst others and was using Tyrian as a scapegoat. I swear, the writers had the characters not like the military and called it a day, because thats enough to convince others that he's a fascist🙄
And then there's the Happy Hunteresses. My God the more I think, the more I lose my mind. I know there is more to fascism than speaking against government getting you could get killed, so sorry for sticking to only this point, but those women should be on the thinest of ices!! They're walking out, with their faces and real names out, being deemed as the heros of Mantle, being vocal of their dislike of Ironwood and the evil, evil, always has been evil fascist Ironwood...has done nothing all this time to get rid of them, especially Robyn???
In all honestly the more I think about everything involving Ironwood - him being part of Ozpin's crew, him and Ozpin, him and Glynda, him and Qrow, his and Qrow's hug, him and Ruby, him and team Rwby, him and Winter, him and the Ace-Ops, the Ace-Ops's and Winter's loyalty towards him, Pietro working with Ironwood, Robyn working together with him in the end etc. - and put him being a fascist next to it, I become uncomfortable, that everything ends up getting ruined in the story.
If Ironwood has always been a fascist like the fandom loves to claim...then that means Ozpin was fine with welcoming a fascist in his circle. Glynda showed a concern to a fascist. Glynda called a fascist a good person. Qrow saved a fascist from getting attacked by Grimm. Qrow nicknames the fascist "Jimmy". Qrow hugged a fascist with a smile. Winter chose to follow a fascist. Ace-Ops chose to follow a fascist. Team Rwby were fine with working alongside with a fascist. Yang got a prosthetic arm from a fascist. Weiss got defended at the party by a fascist. The Headmaster of Atlas Academy is a fascist-
Do you realize how messed up everything becomes? How it makes others look terrible? Don't give me the excuses that others didn't know. I'm willing to accept it with the kids, since they don't know him well, but Ozpin, Glynda, Qrow, Winter, Pietro and the Ace-Ops? People close to him didn't know? Didn't see signs he's a fascist? Ozma lived for many centuries and couldn't pick up that he's letting a fascist in his group?
Jesus Christ
Yeah yeah, I can confirm that you'll get into trouble if you speak up/fight against the government in some one-party state countries or new countries just got out of the war(because their political system is just formed, they need to secure their power before developing the country in economic and social aspects, even that makes their political system turn into the dictatorship). But Atlas and Ironwood arent' like that, people can protest/fight/speak up against the government or Ironwood without any harm, the guy (from the begin of v7) got arrested and the military didn't do anything bad to him. Where's my fascist references, M&K?
And yup, if Ironwood was a fascist dictator, he just could get rid of Robyn. :) But he didn't. In fact, Ironwood had no problem in Robyn being a candidate for the position of the council, he even deployed Penny to protect the HH's election speech. In Atlas Academy, Ironwood let his students watch the election between Jacques and Robyn with free drinks and foods, he wanted his students to have the most comprehensive and unbiased view of politics, he didn't force them to follow a particular political faction. If he was a fascist, he could force them to follow his ideals without being allowed to have other political thoughts. Again, where's my fascist refs, K&M?
To me, "Ironwood was planned to be a villain from the start" is bullshit, they made this up to justify their bad writing. If Ironwood was actually planned to be a bad guy from the start, why would they let him show his loyalty and understanding to his allies? Why do they imply that he is willing to help his ally without return? He even wants the robots to replace human in battlefields to reduce casualties. A man who wants to save human beings is evil????What the fuck K&M?
One more reason why I don’t believe Ironwood was planned to be a villain from the start: THEY SHOWED THAT HE WAS ALWAYS A RELIABLE ALLY. In Before the Dawn, Velvet’s dad admited that he knew Ironwood as a friend, even he was just working for Ironwood. And Taiyang showed that he knew Ironwood so well that he could write a letter for him to ask for help, as a friend. Remember, Ironwood’s position is the commander of the strongest military in the world, he’s also a congressman, he’s the one always busy with his job being a General and a Headmaster and a congressman. And some random persons without any power in their hand can be his friends???A man like that is evil???If I were that busy man, I wouldn’t waste my time for “friendship” ngl.
Tumblr media
(I stole this from OddlyHale ♥️)
Btw, Ironwood lets his students call him "James" aka his first name instead of his titles like General or Headmaster and he lets his students to have a 15 minutes in his office to talk to him every month. Idk but I feel like his students really love their Headmaster. And a man like that is evil??? 💀💀💀
I...just can't understand K&M&E's logic 💀what the fuck...And sorry for my bad English skill haha, English isn't my mother tongue and I'm very bad at it.
