11/13 BAA HALF MARATHON
Hahaha so I couldn’t give up lifting for a good training plan. I ran 8 miles halloweekend and maybe like less than 10 runs shorter than 3-miles since I signed up back in august
Wish me luck with my recovery.
a 13.1 PR time though. My legs are much stronger / I’m in much better shape than during my last races. & back of the pack runners unite! Rain/weather was AMAZING.
The course was fun. Not super exciting but being a Boston local it’s always fun to run on the roads.

I bet some of y’all never thought you’d see me again!
I suffered a hand sprain back around thanksgiving, and then it healed (see last two flex pics) & the next day I bruised it bad.
The past month or two has been extremely difficult. Anxiety and depression stopped me from finding a different outlet while I couldn’t lift. Well,
Silver lining in bruising my hand again is it jumpstarted my running again.
Two indoor runs. Started with 2.5 on treadmill. WOW. HR was up near 200. My legs are strong though. Next day 4 miles on the indoor track. Yesterday I conquered something that’s been hard for me. Getting outside to run. Planned for 6 if I could, hit 7 and wanted to keep going but for the sake of my recovery, I capped it.
Today was 12 degrees. Got a few miles in. So difficult to get a post run pic but the Charles is looking so pretty as it freezes over!
Get ready for a lot more activity from me. Hunter runs the world is back. I need this hand to heal. I wanna lift again. But we shall find some mental clarity through running again. I want to incorporate it back- maybe run a half this summer?
I’ve been occasionally stalking some of you. Saw many of y’all also got covid during XMAS- it wasn’t fun :(

Rest day minus my full body gym sesh. Solid 5/5 workouts this week! Worked on my depth today in squats. Even got low with the 45ers (only 3 reps tho).
Yet another snowy day here in Boston! Left the gym in the beginnings and now I will not be leaving the house. Ordered chipotle, this must be the biggest burrito I’ve ever had from there lols so listened to my body and I know if I finished the thing I would’ve felt uncomfortably full (which I usually do with takeout that doesn’t sit well bc I don’t like wasting).
Pro tip: don’t stay up until 6am and then wake up at 10am the next day for a full 8 hour shift... ESP if the night before included 8 shots🌝
Hope y’all have a happy and safe Super Bowl!! No plans for me this year. Again, just sitting by the window watching the snow come down and watching Kim’s convenience on Netflix:)

Okay I know I haven’t posted in a while I kinda took a break from tumblr. Everything’s just been so good and I’m trying to stay off my phone a little more!! Or maybe I’m just spending way too much time on tiktok.
Been eating a lot more and hitting my protein goals. Finally weighed myself a few weeks back for the first time since August. I’m at 120ish and was 155 this time last year. 135 in august. Not that my weight matters too much to me, but this is technically the first time my BMI has been considered “healthy” since maybe I was 8-10 years old. But ultimately weighed myself just so I can know how many grams of protein to eat🥳
Feel a little weird eating so much regularly, I never had consistency. Consistency in the diet for a few months now and honestly everything- eating, gym, etc has turned into second nature.
PRs while I’ve been gone:
155 squat
80 bench press
165 deadlift
155 hip thrust
Unfortunately my Bulgarian split squats at 20lb weights have become too easy and I don’t wanna go up to 25s bc it’ll become super hard again😂

We wear fanny packs as our uni at work. Finally bought one of my own. Comes in handy at the gym LOL I freakin love it!! Went super late tonight but was able to do my thanggg.
Some flexing. I think I’ve really got a handle on all things lifting and nutrition. Not a pro by any means but I feel very comfortable and now I can put it ALL in action. I think these last few months I’ve been taking it “easy”, learning, but I’ve really fallen in love with being a gym rat. I.e. I know the names of exercises/machines and I feel confident working on my own form, macros, eating enough protein etc. Oops... I did start as a runblr. It’s helping my running A LOT. But I think I wanna keep this up for a few more months and really see my health and strength transform💯✅
I also just miss training for in person races :/

First attempt at meal prepping!! Bought a $12 10 pack of these meal prep containers from Star Market. Tested out 3 breakfasts + 3 dinners.
PB&J overnight oats:
-Pack of oats
-half a cup of milk
-1.5 tbs chia seeds
-1tbs of PB
-strawberries& blueberries
Classic chicken & broccoli:
-Chicken with olive oil, seasoning
-chili and garlic cashews
-TJs general tsos sauce
-broccoli
-rice
Thoughts:
Good first attempt!! So easy. Didn’t use enough chicken, thought 3 thin breasts would be enough but could’ve used one more so added more rice. Also similar with broccoli (I finished the bag off :/)
Adding 2 more to make 5 day’s would not be bad at all!! Already in love.

Happy Monday.
Okay. Today was the absolute worst in getting up and working out. I woke up a little late and felt so groggy. Even when I was the gym I was groggy and my body felt like it was still lying in bed😂 and because I woke up late my workout was short.
There was no one there (10:30-10:15ish) and I did some glutes. See picture is me in what I wore to work today, I saw some fitness post explaining how to pose to accentuate your glutes very well. I’m just blaming my posing skills rn... 😌well get there.
Always getting tons of steps when I walk to the gym, to work, and I had to get tested today. City life always walking everywhere- great for my health, but I could do with a car in the winter.
