Rich Boy SF9 Bullet Point AU (Hwiyoung x Reader)

Yeah I did it again. And Jaeyoon is technically in the works. Also it's wild to me that Hwi and I are both 99 liners that's weird

Content: strangers to lovers, fluff, kissing, pretending not to know him, not exactly office romance, cooking, some rich ajussis are mean to you

The first time you met him

At a meeting between your businesses for some legal negotiations

He was cold and chic and only said what he needed to say

The second time you met him

At the press conference announcing the collaboration of your companies

He was still cold and chic, but he had a little more charisma

But the third time you met him

At a public weekend cooking class your friend had promised to take with you

(She bailed)

He was unrecognizably warm and charismatic

You were unsure that he would recognize you because of the large difference in positions at your respective companies

He being the heir to his

And you being the lead public relations specialist in yours

So you chose a table sort of behind and across from him so you could both observe him and watch the teachers at the same time

Now you know that boy was raised rich

And if you weren’t 100% sure that you recognized him and the luxury brand watch on his wrist

You would have thought that he had a doppelgänger

What was a guy like him doing in a public class like this?

Didn’t he have the money to pay for someone to do this kind of stuff for him?

But he watched the teachers so intently and he looked like he knew his way around this stuff a lot better than you did

This was the first time you had seen him genuinely engaged and looking like he wanted to be there

Like sure at work he had nice eyebrows and he was admittedly pretty handsome or whatever

But wow when he was in his element he was positively radiant

Even if you hadn’t known who he was beforehand you probably still would have been staring at him

Somehow you managed to make it through the class without burning the food or yourself

But then you got paired with him for taste testing and you wished you were the fire on your gas stove

That is to say

Gone. Put out

If he recognized you then what

Pretend to be someone else?

You weren’t sure why you didn’t want to talk to him

Much less have him try your food

Probably something along the lines of he was so much higher than you on the business chain and how on earth were you supposed to just interact like you were equals

Too late he introduced himself

“Hi I’m Hwiyoung”

Oh good

“Hi I’m (Y/N)”

Lots to unpack there

He didn’t recognize you but he introduced himself casually and so you felt like you should too but oh man you knew who he was and that was totally out of line

But he did not care so you were just going to pretend like you didn’t care too

“Can I try yours first?” he asked

“Oh yep sure go ahead”

You were still speaking casually since he was and boy did it feel wrong but you couldn’t stop it from coming out of your mouth

It was also weird watching his face while he took a bite like no this dude is so much higher up on the social scale than you could ever hope to be but oh boy you really hope he likes it

It’s like anime sparkles were in his eyes

“Oh yours is different than mine! I like how you did it”

Insert joke about getting a good grade, which is both normal to want and possible to achieve

“I have strong opinions about garlic,” you said

“I can tell,” he responded, taking another bite

He let out the tiniest “oh wow”

This was both extremely gratifying and embarrassing at the same time

At the beginning of the class you were very excited to tell your coworkers what you had seen but now you thought you might die if anyone else found out

“Ah sorry!” he interrupted your thoughts, setting the plate down “I forgot you need to try mine too”

Honestly you were a little scared by his reaction to yours

If he thought your cooking was that good then his must be…subpar to say the least

But no even though you felt immense pressure to react positively as he watched you expectantly

You didn’t have to fake your reaction at all

His version of the dish fit your taste perfectly

He read your reaction wrong though

You had frozen stiff in surprise and he thought it meant that it was bad

But no no no you had to reassure him that you just had a bad case of rbf and actually it was really good

The next time you saw him at a meeting he did not recognize you

You figured he must meet a lot of people and rely heavily on context in order to recognize them

Plus you didn’t know if the cooking class was a secret or not so you didn’t want to out him accidentally in a professional environment

Not to mention he was back to his cold and quiet demeanor so that was intimidating

So you let the meeting pass without trying to say anything potentially out of line

And when you met again in your cooking class on the weekend he waved you over to share a station with him

You tried to make small talk with him about who he was and what he did just to make sure he really was the person you knew that he was

But he kind of steered away from any specific answers and that in and of itself was sort of confirmation

“What do you do for work?”

“Oh I work at X Group”

“That’s pretty prestigious what do you do there?”

“Just some administrative stuff you know”

You did know

And then he asked you the same questions

“So how about you what do you do?”

And you realized that if you answered then you would end up giving him a lead on who you were and that actually you had met in other circumstances

But like what are you going to do lie???

“I work at K Company”

“Oh right we’re doing some stuff with them these days. Are you involved with that?”

“Um yeah just some pr stuff though I’m not actually on the collab team”

He nodded you know the way you do when you’re like okay nice that’s your life

And then he froze in the middle of stirring the pan

Face just melted in realization

“We already know each other don’t we”

Oh no

You didn’t want to make him feel bad because you didn’t have any hard feelings that he didn’t recognize you

But also you didn’t want to make him feel awkward or threatened because that was how you already felt and you had no intention of holding anything over him

And you didn’t want him to go into business mode either because that was boring

But more importantly this was clearly supposed to be a comfortable space for him and you didn’t want to be an intruder

“I should have said something earlier,” you apologized

What next

What were you supposed to say next huh???

“But you were cute, so…”

NOT THAT

YOU WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO SAY THAT

His ears flushed red and his eyes went wide

Attention went right back to the pan

And yours went back to cutting up the garnishes

“You’re um…”

He cleared his throat

“You’re cute, too”

OH???

This was only week two of cooking class

If anything was supposed to happen here it should have been down the line

No no no none of that nothing was “supposed to happen here”

He was like your boss-in-law that wasn’t allowed

But it wasn’t like you had approached him on purpose knowing who he was

It was kind of him that made the first move right?

Also it wasn’t like you technically met at work or anything so I mean

Maybe if he meant it then you could accept the compliment at least

Looking up as you shredded a carrot, you noticed his ears glowing like traffic lights

He was laser focused on making sure the pan was cooking evenly

“Oh um…thanks”

“Plus I like the way you balance spices” he added

“Oh um…” you repeated, apparently out of things to say “thanks?”

He cleared his throat and let the awkward silence build

For the rest of the class

In fact even as you said goodbye he just gave you a shy wave in return

And you knew you had broken this for him

You debated not going the next week

Or ever again

But also you had the same right to be there as he did and like just because he was some rich ceo heir dude didn’t mean he had more of a claim to that space

If he really wanted he could just hire a personal tutor probably

But still though you felt bad

You saw him at another meeting between your two companies

Yeah he recognized you this time you could tell

You tried very hard to focus on the notes you were taking for the press release stuff

But that was hard when he was making it obvious that he was trying not to look at you

You were starting to think that maybe he wasn’t like actually cool and chic

Maybe he was just raised as a sort of loner type and he was bad at talking to people

And maybe you had sort of tricked him into opening up to you in the cooking class

Whatever he was a rich boy heir to a company why did he need your sympathy??

Also he started it so you didn’t trick him into anything

But did he know that

Perhaps not

When the end of the meeting came he decided to say goodbye to everyone who came personally

(Side note we have a word for say hello (greet) but not say goodbye and this makes me angry every time I remember it)

But yep said goodbye to everyone

Shook their hands and thanked them for coming with a professional smile

But when it came to you it was hard for him to keep up his act

So he shook your hand and made shy eye contact for just a second before he looked back down at your hands

“I’ll see you next time, Miss (L/N)”

You were the last one out and it didn’t seem that anyone from your group was waiting for you

So you felt you had time to reply

“At the next meeting? Or…”

“I was hoping on Saturday,” he responded

“Unless you would rather not”

So he was okay

Then you were allowed to be okay with it, too, right?

You didn’t have a problem with it unless he did

So you smiled too

“I would like to see you on Saturday, too, actually”

It was like looking through a tinted window, but you could see a bit of the version of him you saw in the kitchen classroom for a second

And you know what.

Yeah okay it was cute

When you told him he was cute the first time you just meant like. It was sweet like aww good for you buddy

But now when your brain told you cute it meant oh dear he’s attractive

That was not ideal

He’s just a dude he’s just a dude

But he’s a rich and handsome dude

Not that the rich and handsome should matter necessarily

Doesn’t hurt

But the cutest things about him were

1) he was so excited about cooking like passions are super cute

And 2) it kinda looked like he might be interested too? Lol?

Mutual attraction law something something if he’s attracted to you first then like that’s the main thing that attracts you to him?

I believe in the power of that to some extent

Anyway that’s definitely what was going on here

May or may not have kept you up at night a bit

So when Saturday came and he wanted to share a station with you again

Keeping your composure and looking like a sane person that was totally okay with just being friends required 99% of your energy

Unfortunately the topic of the class was not something you could breeze through with the remaining 1%

So you were left either to be an incompetent mess of a student

Or an incompetent mess of a human being

Luckily that was not a conscious choice for you to make

Luckily being used in loosest of ways

And you ended up being both an incompetent mess of a student and a human being anyway so there went everything

Your supposed cooking prowess

Your potential as a friend found in an unlikely place

You were a shame to your ancestors, who had all clearly found love and reproduced if you were alive

How many hundreds of people had lived before you in order for you to be alive

And you couldn’t manage to do the same thing

He was a terrible mess as well

Both for the cooking and the human-ing aspects of the day

Partnered up at the same cooking station once again

Not even both of your combined efforts could make a successful dish

And the conversation the whole time?

Awkward and stilted enough to have been between two poorly built chatbots

Every time your eyes met it seemed like an accident

By the minute you thought he was handsomer and handsomer

And he kept turning redder than the cherry tomatoes you were supposed to be roasting

But by some miracle

He managed to work up enough conversation skills to ask you to dinner with him

“We didn’t manage to make anything edible today, so should we see how professionals do it?”

And like how can you say no

Turns out he had made a reservation for some super fancy place you’ve never heard of

And your brain is like okay let’s break that down

Fancy place very expensive way out of your budget

But he made the reservation so he planned on paying right?

He made a reservation wow

This was pre planned he wanted to take you to dinner anyway

Regardless of if what you made in the cooking class was edible

That was just an excuse

He wanted to spend more time with you and he had planned on it

Now you were a little scared of rich people shenanigans

So you were still wary of picking up this extremely obvious hint

Like normal boy? Yeah of course he’s into you

Rich boy? He might want something and this is a manipulation tactic

But in class he was a normal boy

He was so down to earth and awkward and cute

So you really wanted to take this at face value

Honestly at this point with any other boy you might have asked him out yourself already

But with rich people there’s a pride factor and you were kind of scared about it

Strangely though pride was not an issue here today

At least in terms of clothing

Neither of you were up to dress code at all for the restaurant because you were coming straight from the cooking class pretty much

But the staff recognized him apparently and they were cool with it?

When you looked at the menu and the prices you wanted to disappear immediately

The cheapest thing on the menu was daunting

But he pulled your menu down from your hands and put it on the table

He flipped a few pages and pointed to a dish

“I wanted to take you here because I thought you would like this one”

Okay yep you got that one loud and clear

This was a date and he wanted to spend time with you on purpose

He had been at a place like this and he had thought of you

Well then.

Guess it was time to let him know you thought of him the same way

You ended up ordering what he suggested for you and he was absolutely right

He also let you try a bite of what he ordered

And that was really good too

“But,” he said, “I don’t think it’s as good as how you might do it”

Challenge accepted

“If we buy the ingredients tonight then maybe we can try to make it tomorrow?”

His eyes lit up and his mouth stretched wide in a smile at your suggestion

And it was a plan

But then you were interrupted by some very well dressed older men

And unfortunately they recognized Hwiyoung

He didn’t seem terribly thrilled by this

But they made him talk to them anyway

They didn’t seem rude but they weren’t being terribly polite either

It felt weird to just sit there but you had no idea how to insert yourself into a rich people interaction

Plus by the way he glanced at you it seemed like he didn’t want to get you involved

But this guy is anti-smooth unfortunately so looking over at you inadvertently drew attention to you as well

And they started asking questions rather disdainfully

As he answered them honestly and with the most positive light he could, you were amazed at the lack of shame these men had in talking about you as if you weren’t there

Or as if you had no right or ability to contest the opinions they were forming about you

It seemed that Hwiyoung was more hurt by this than you were, somehow

When they finally left, he sat down with his business personality

“I think I’ve lost my appetite,” he admitted disappointedly

“I’m so sorry I couldn’t defend you properly, but if I tried, they would use more than their words to tear you down”

You shrugged

“They seem pretty wrapped up in their own importance”

His mouth twisted into a sad snicker

“It’s not a fun world to navigate”

You made a few more jokes at the expense of the rude rich dudes

And it kind of worked to bring him back to you

By this first experience with the upper class, you weren’t particularly fazed

But you wondered, if you stayed by his side, what the tenth encounter might do

The hundredth

The thousandth

You were so jumping the gun but they were valid thoughts to have it you were thinking about dating a guy that lived in this realm of wealth and self-importance

But as you wandered the supermarket aisles with him, picking out ingredients

You also wondered if he couldn’t do anything now because you were still testing the waters

He didn’t seem the type to let comments like that fly under the radar

So you wanted to give him another chance

He walked you back all the way to the front entrance of your apartment building

He could have driven

But, he bashfully admitted, he wanted to spend more time with you

It was hard not to invite him up, but it felt a bit improper

If you were the one storing the groceries, it would have only been natural

But since you would be cooking at his place the next day

And since he had more storage space anyway

He was taking everything with him

You felt sort of bad watching him walk away with like four bags of groceries

But it was also uh

Kind of hot

Plus like he volunteered himself for it he would be fine

The next day he greeted you at the front gate of his (ridiculous) house

With only the boyfriendiest of boyfriend vibes

It already felt like you were official honestly

It was such a weird and fast jump but it felt like you had always been together rather than this being like. Your second date

You spotted some hired workers trying to stay hidden as they spied on you

That was a little weird

But fumbling around and learning to cook this dish was far more captivating

And the boy? Far far far more captivating

It really didn’t feel right that you had only met a few weeks ago

That fact itself was more surprising than the moment you suddenly found yourself inches from him with his hand around your back and his other hand intertwined with yours

And you swayed back and forth to the music that was somehow exactly perfect for the moment

Yeah that just felt natural honestly

Last night you felt improper about letting him up to your apartment

Now here you were slow dancing in his kitchen

In matching aprons

Yeah you were done for

Head over heels he was your man now

Your free hand magically made its way up to his face and cupped his cheek

He was leaning in and your eyes fluttered closed and then

A timer going off startled you both into remembering what got you here in the first place

So you finished your dish and then sat down to taste test

And he was absolutely right

It was better when you made it together

The smile on his face told you everything you needed to know

The sparkle in his eyes when your eyes met was confirmation

It was so strange the next time your companies had a meeting

Employees on both sides were so confused

Since when did President Kim…….smile

Or speak in a voice that wasn’t monotone

Something changed……weird

By some miracle no one noticed the expressions you two exchanged

Neither of you were being subtle

But I guess if people don’t want to see it then they won’t

And your funny little secret totally flew under the radar

Also the next time you were caught by mean old chaebol men at a restaurant

He kinda let them have it when they tried to make disparaging remarks about you

He was so well-spoken too like you could tell he rehearsed it twelve hundred times in his mirror

They just kinda left with slightly humbled expressions

And he sat down with this disgruntled little huff and apologized to you again

His parents are like “well hmmm you’re not exactly who we hoped he would end up with…..”

You could see it in his eyes Hwiyoung was ready to go off on them

But then they were like “but. this is weird. we raised the boy and nothing but cooking ever makes him smile this much. welcome to the family”

Now he’s self conscious about how much he gets excited apparently because HE didn’t think he was that stonefaced

(You totally were babe. I almost didn’t recognize you the first time we met)

(It’s work!!!! Why do I have to be excited about business!!!!!!)

But he’s YOUR stonefaced ceo chef boyfriend so

He supposes it doesn’t matter that much as long as you like him that way

Anyway once again I shall leave you with your first kiss

It happened the same day as when you went over to his house to make that dish

After you had eaten you could tell he was a little nervous about something and you couldn’t figure out what it was

Were you accidentally being mean to him and you thought you were being flirty

You didn’t think so but now you were nervous about it

No turns out he was just thinking about how you totally would have kissed if that stupid timer had gone off even like five seconds later

And he was trying to find an entry point back into that mood because he was kind of scared to just like. kiss you

Anyway he ended up mumbling that when you asked him if he was okay and you barely caught any of it

But you managed to catch the message

So you asked him if he had a good view of the sky from anywhere in his house

Yes he did have a nice balcony with a perfect view of the sunset

So you let him take advantage of the slightly chilly spring evening and the golden hour

And he kissed you properly

SF9 Chani MBTI Analysis

- INTJ -

An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.

MBTI: INTJ (Ni - Te - Fi - Se)

Dom: Ni - Introverted Intuition

A percieving function that uses one's personal insights and ideas.

Chani has admitted that celebrity life is not for him and the main reason he joined entertainment was to support his family. His end goal is to ensure his family with financial security. He's not really ambitious and doesn't seem to have any other plans besides helping his family. He also does take his time to plan out things and decide how he's going to get there. Ni often prefers to plan before taking action to make sure it's perfect and attainable.

Aux: Te - Extroverted Thinking

A judging function that relies on established facts and data to create a working environment.

Chani is realistic and honest. In the MBTI interview with Hwiyoung, Hwi says Chani is the type to provide solutions rather than comfort, which is very Te. Te doms/aux would rather get to the problem and solve it instead of just complaining about it.

If he were an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si), he would likely resort to Fi to comfort rather than go straight to problem solving. He would also partake in Hwi's flights of fantasy rather than say they're silly (Hwi = INFP. Fi - Ne - Si - Te. Ne from both xNFPs would come together to brainstorm. But Chani doesn't do that with Hwi).

Tert: Fi - Introverted Feeling

A judging function that uses one's personal values and beliefs to compare and make choices.

Chani seems to have a bit of trouble with self expression. It may be awkward for him and so he chooses not to be very expressive. However, he's still very soft and mellow, especially when he talks about his love and care towards his group. He may not show a lot of emotion towards many things, but when it comes to the things he cares about (e.g SF9), you can really see his mood light up. Fi will open up more if it's about their personal passions.

Inf: Se - Extroverted Sensing

A perceiving function that uses our 5 senses to process the external world.

Having inferior Se, it is likely the reason why Chani can be incredibly slow moving. Se is focused on the physical world and movement. However, Chani moves very slow...talks slow as well.

Why he's not an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si):

I very highly doubt Chani is an ENFP...if he were, he would have to be in an Ne - Te loop or something. However I just do not see any high Ne usage in Chani in general though. Compared to actual Ne dom Inseong and Ne aux Hwiyoung, Chani is much more of an Ni user.

He's also very relatable to me as an INTJ too...And I highly doubt I am an ENFP so lmao.

Actual ENFPs: BTS V, TWICE Sana, P1Harmony Intak

If he is not an INTJ though, ISTP would be my second guess. However I don't see much Ti-Fe usage in him.

A trace of the day left behind by SF9 Jaeyoon on a day in March when the sunlight scattered over clear sky spread like paint

Jaeyoon pursues something that's invisible to the eyes, the belief that love surely exists, trusts that there will be no lies in that love, bets that's the present will perfect the future self. Wonders if there is an absolute standard to 'do well' to be good at something. He can only fathom the reality of the formless things he follows, as if he is following a path in the dark. But he doesn't doubt the existence of them. Instead, he just throws endless questions at himself. Sometimes he sinks into the abyss, entangled in worries derived from questions, but he never denies the existence of the things he pursues.

Is there anything sort of 'It would nice if you ask me this' kind of story for this interview?

Wow, It's the first time i have been asked such question in an interview. I really didn't think of it (laughs)

Since this is the last interview before enlistment, I wish to leave a story that Jaeyoon wishes to tell today.

What would be good? I like the bright and light stories i have told through various contents but today I feel like it would be good to talk about something that's settled deep in my mind.

I was going to ask 'gukguy*' Jaeyoon to recommend me his favourite rice soup restaurant; but i will ask you when we meet the next time. (laughs) With enlistment just around the corner how do you feel?

To be honest before the date came out I kept wondering 'Oh, am i really going?'* It seemed like a long way off, but it only just hit me when the date came out. But it doesn't mean i haven't thought about it all; i had a lot of conservations about it since an year with our group members Youngbin hyung and Inseong hyung who enlisted first. And the conclusion was 'For the remaining time let's show our fans what we want to show as much our fan's heart desire.' I have spent every moment working hard to yield a pleasurable result to keep up that promise.I feel a lot better now. I knew the fans were anxious because they didn't know when I would enlist, but I felt really sorry until the very end for not being able to say anything.

Did you get any advice related to military life from the members who enlisted first and E-TION of ONF, who is in charge of Pat of 'Pat and Mat'?

Since i was very curious about a lot of things, i ask this and that first. In fact i even contacted E-TION yesterday. Ofcourse advise is very helpful but it doesn't make sense as in the end i guess i can only know when i experience it. I'm just envious everyone is about to be discharged (laughs). Now rather than seeking advice I'm focused on working hard on planning what part of myself i would fill in during the time spend there once i enlist.

Did you make any kind of plans?

I want to do things that I couldn't do before during promotions, so I'm going to focus on reading and studying. First of all i'll take the book 'Dollargut Dream Department Store' that i received as gift from my sister. As for the other books, I'll go to the bookstore before enlisting and buy them. I'm going to learn languages such as English, Japanese. Meanwhile I felt sorry for not being able to study properly even though I felt like I wasn't good enough.

I wanted to get an idea for the pictorial concept, so I asked about your favorite movies in advance.I was surprising to hear the title of a romance movies gushing

Haha, That's right. Usually guys my age like SF or hero series but I like the romance genre. Movies like <The Notebook>, <About Time>, <One Day> are my favourite.

I noticed that in the list, there is also <Titanic>, which was released a long time ago.

Hwiyoung, our group member really likes movies, and asked to me watch <Titanic> with him. Since it is such a famous work, I thought it would be nice to see it at least once, so we watched it together. In the movie Jack's fate was really sad but my heart goes out more to Rose. My heart hurts by just imagining that I have to live out the rest of my days after losing a loved one right in front of my eyes. The scene were they first met was also very memorable.

What's the most memorable movie for Jaeyoon?

I like <The Curious Case of Benjamin Button>. I was so impressed with the movie that I once looked only for Brad Pitt's work.

What part of the movie swayed your mind?

The protagonist keeps getting younger, and the people he loves around him get older. In life the moment they share the same time of life is close to the blink of an eye. Watching the movie made me imagine how sad it must be to miss eachother living through different years. At the same time, I made a pledge to be good to the precious people around me who are going through the same time right now.

Your ability to empathize is extraordinary

I'm the type to have a lot of thoughts, as i often assume this and that and immerse myself in those i guess. However, there are too many thoughts; it does not stop at assuming the situation. There are times when the worry derived from this always becomes too exhausting like biting ones own tail is burdensome. I always make up my mind to reduce these thoughts but it's not easy.

I know how you feel because we have similar tendencies. Even if I manage to get rid of my thoughts, I wonder, 'Oh Am I allowed to live without thinking like this.' and worry about it.

That's right. If you worry a little less than usual you think, 'Am I living too thoughtlessly?' and worry about it. There aren't many people with this tendency, so I haven't talked about it anywhere but If i don't worry too much like this i often find myself wondering if I'm too lackadaisical

I can't help but be concerned it must be very tiring for you. I wonder how do you deal with stress?

As it's my natural inclination it's not easy to reduce the thoughts itself. So conversely i imagine very possible scenario. Should I says it's fighting fire with fire? To think about it endlessly until you can think of no more case scenarios. When you already assume the worst possible scenario you can deal with any unexpected issues that may arise. You tell yourself 'see its just this. the situation like that don't usually happen ,you don't have to worry a lot' and comfort yourself. But there are times when my worst fears came true. Then next time you have to be more careful with what you imagine. (laughs)

It's not a weakness. It's about being careful without making a hasty decision about any situation. It's not easy to be sure of something easily in the first place, but is there something you firmly believe in?

I think the answer that 'I still firmly believe' is more accurate I have faith in 'love'. No matter what form or method, love definitely exists, and I believe there are no lies when it's all about love. I think there were no lies in all the moments when I shared my heart with the people around me, such as the moments when I exchanged love with my parents and the moments when I exchanged love with the fans.

Then what may be something where lies can exist?

Values of things that are not necessarily proportional to the universal estimate. Something like money could be an example.A high amount of money does not necessarily mean that its value is high and vice versa. In case you misunderstand, i have no experience with such money.(laughs)

The fact that the name of the series for your own content is not named 'I am good' but 'I can do well' also seems to reflect your personality. The beginning of the series was small, but now it has become the content that symbolize Jaeyoon.

It wasn't started with a huge plan. During the pandemic the difficult situation of not being able to meet fans was very hard and i felt empty. I wanted to see my fans so much, and I wanted to convey my feeling, but the only possible way was writing and video. I planned various contents to communicate with fans in real time through video. I thought that the story would be richer if I showed what I was doing rather than just talking. Coincidentally, a lot of contents such as making Dalgona and Tanghulu were uploaded on video sites. So I thought to start by showing them how to make those while having a conversation

This is also a 'moment of exchange of love with no lies' with fans. You been saying that you can do a lot of things well, but I'm curious about what do you really want to do well.

What is the criterion in singing 'to do well'?

You have no idea how long I've been wondering about the same. 'Does it mean to be good at it?' 'Is there a single ultimate point to reach?' 'Is self-satisfaction the criteria?' There was a time when i thought that absolute standards definitely existed. As I thought about it over and over again i started thinking 'Just as there are many colors in the world or just as we all have different appearances; the standard of 'doing well' as well might be different. As I progress little by little i keep asking myself; 'what's my own color'. But then when i hit a wall i start doubting myself 'What if there is an absolute standard'. To be honest it's a problem that I can't find an answer to now, so these days I'm trying to focus on and think 'Lee Jaeyoon the person is singing right now' Then, even if you hit a wall; i will have no choice but to overcome it and to learn from it and refine oneself one by one based on that experiences.

As I said earlier, the goal of today's interview is to capture the traces Jaeyoon wants to leave behind. What's that something you want to tell us.

Superficially the trace before i cut my hair, if I speak ideologically its my today's time and thoughts. I think by keeping a record of one day in March that I spent, I have one more moment to share with my fans.

I am curious on what do Lee Jaeyoon as a person wants to leave behind lastly in his life.

Rather than wanting to leave behind, wouldn't it be what of me as a person that's left behind.? Suppose I'm 80 years old, I guess as a person all the things Lee Jaeyoon experienced for 80 years is what will be left of me.

What would that look like?

I received a lot of love while working as Jaeyoon of SF9. After exchanging such a precious affection, I think the inner me will be very rich. As I said before, I believe in the power of love

Jaeyoon's eyes sparkled when he talked about the things he believed in, and a shy smile appeared on his lips. Was it the concern his talks may sounds like 'chasing the clouds'. In fact, if he had only followed what he could clearly see, he would not have asked himself so many questions or agonized endlessly to find answers to those questions. That's If you just accept only what you see without doubt or second guess. However all things that have a form transforms and all that can be seen may look distorted to some. If there is something that don't transform and is non distorted its the nature of formlessness.

So, what Jaeyoon pursues becomes an unchanging buoy on the sea he sails on. Of course, on a day with strong winds, it may be shaken endlessly and sometimes be swept away by strong currents but the direction these signs point to is always straight and honest.❤️

It was about time you got out of your neighborhood and flew to another state to visit some family. The thing about where you lived was that you didn’t have people like you around there. You had no idea what you did to have people hate you so much but you didn’t care. If anything you liked being alone.

The moment you get to California, your goal is just to spend some time with the family that you haven’t seen in a long time and be away from the negative energy. Right now you need to be calm and just relax after all this is a vacation.

“OH MY GOD!” Just as you were lost in your thoughts, you looked over to your sister and sighed.

“What now?” Your sister always has to turn the smallest thing into a dramatic scene... You shouldn’t even be surprised by this response anymore.

“SF9 IS COMING TO CALIFORNIA WHILE WE ARE HERE!” All you did was just stare at your sister as she continued to stare down at her phone.

You see, you have an older sister who was completely obsessed with K-pop. There hasn’t been a day where she doesn’t mention any groups in the K-pop community. You always asked your parents why didn’t you get a normal sister or even become the only child... They never seem to have an answer so it sucks.

“And?” You asked her and she rolled her eyes.

“Of course, you wouldn’t understand. Why do I even bother telling you?” You shrugged and continued to wait till your parents came back to you and your sister with the new rental car they were borrowing.

“Do you think they (parents) would let me go to their concert?” You glanced at your sister and shrugged.

“I mean I don’t think so, but how are you possibly supposed to get there?” You asked your sister and she looked left and right and then back at you with a huge smile.

“Duh! With the car, they rent,” That’s true, but the moment you took one look up... There you saw a sign that said:

MUST BE 21 TO DRIVE A RENTED CAR

You were going to let your sister be happy, but you decided what kind of sister would you be if you didn’t try to burst your own sister's happiness... Not a very good one.

“Sorry to rain on your parade, but...” You grabbed your sister by the shoulders and turned her to face the wall. The moment she saw the sign, her face went from a smile to a frown.

“You gotta be kidding me,” You simply shrugged, and for some reason knowing that your sister wasn’t going to be able to go to the concert she wanted to go to make you smile. It’s not that you didn’t want to see your sister be happy; however she’s been a snob.

“Try again next time... If they come back,” you simply said, winking over at your sister, and from that point on, both of your parents walked over to you two with the keys to a car.

“Ready to go?” Your mother asked the two of you and you nodded.

“Ready than ever.”

You glanced back at your sister and noticed she still had that frown glued to her damn face.

“What’s wrong with Y/S/N?” Your mother asked and you quickly gave your mother a look.

“It’s not worth asking, “ Your sister shot you a glare and at that moment your sister decided to open her mouth and be dramatic as usual.

“I swear the universe is completely against me! The moment we come here for a vacation... My husband shows up in town and I can’t go see them!” Your sister shouted and all eyes were on her. Honestly, you always seem to question how you are even related to her.

“Oh calm down, your husband doesn’t technically even know you exist,” your mother says, causing your sister to suck her teeth and storm to the car. You took one look at your mother and laughed.

“Finally someone has said it,” from that point on, you all walked toward the car you were renting out and were now on your way to your grandmother's house.

At last, when the car came to a stop, you took a look out the window and saw the same house you visited 8 years ago. Wow, it looks the same. You looked over at your sister who was passed out right next to you and you looked back out the window.

Hm, should you be a nice sister and wake her up? You slowly brought your hand to her shoulder but suddenly stopped and smiled.

Why on earth would you wake up when she looks so peaceful sleeping. You grabbed the handle of the door and made your way out feeling happy at the thought of your sister sleeping in the car and not being around you talking about lord knows what.

“Where’s Y/S/N?” Your mother asks, interrupting your thoughts and you look at her and smile.

“She’s playing dead in the car,” after that being said you walked off and went to get your belongings and you glanced over at your mother who was looking over at the car and then over at you.

“Did you just say she’s dead?” Wow you told your mother she was playing dead and the only thing your mother heard from that statement was she’s dead.

“No, I said she’s playing dead,” You tried to correct yourself but you noticed that your mother was opening the car door and was now tapping your sister. Wow, one-joke turning into your mother freaking out.

You shook your head in disappointment and now had your suitcase and bag in your hands and walked to the door. You know how good it feels knowing that you will be around family and less around people that are annoyed back at home.

By the time you were at the front door, you took a look back and noticed your sister dragging herself out to the car, your mother talking on the phone, and your father pulling out suitcases.

Should you ring the bell or just wait till everyone approaches you? You pulled out your phone and you didn’t have a single text. Eh, what the heck... You rang the doorbell and patiently waited for someone to open the door.

In a matter of seconds, you could hear someone approaching the door. At least the door finally opened and there you saw your grandmother standing right there before you.

“Sweetie,” your grandmother automatically says as she sees you standing right in her.

“Where is everyone else?” Your grandmother asks as she pulls you into a quick hug; however it wasn’t long until she looked behind you and saw how hectic everyone looked. You still question yourself how you turned out to be the only normal one in the family.

You went to the same room you always stay in every time you visit your grandmother. It still looked the same as it did a couple of years ago. The room was still empty. The only thing you had in the room was a bed, a dresser, and a bean bag chair but other than that... Your room was empty.

You put your suitcase on top of the bed but instead of unpacking you walked over to the window and just looked around.

It felt the same as when you were 10. Maybe nothing will change and maybe your vacation will turn out exactly how you think it will.

“WHAT!” You heard screaming ruining your train of thoughts and at that moment you knew you had to go see what was wrong.

You stepped out of your room and walked quickly to the living room finding your sister there with her phone in her hands. Oh no, why did you show up... You already knew your sister was going to say something about the usual problems that included her obsessing over these Korean boy groups...

You tried to walk off hoping that your sister wouldn’t have noticed your presence but it was a little too late to walk away now.

“Y/N!” She grabbed your arm and you looked over at her.

“Please say you’ll come with me.” Oh god, what is this crazy sister of yours talking about? You looked at her and then looked at your arm that she had a grip on.

“First of all please remove your hand away from me and second of all what are you talking about?” You asked your sister and she smiled.

“So I happened to find a way to get to the concert, however, mom and dad said I can only go if...” Your sister stopped talking and you just stood there and you continued to stare at her waiting for her to finish up with what she was saying however she just smiled at you.

“So... are you going to finish that sentence or is this the part I walk away?” You asked your sister and she just sighed and again she placed both hands on each shoulder and looked directly at you.

“I know!!! I know you hate when I mention k-pop around you but please... Please do this one thing for me...” What is your sister talking about? What does she mean to do this thing for her? What are you missing?

“You completely lost me..” Your sister looked frustrated after you made that comment but how can you not be confused? She didn’t even finish what she was saying and she was expecting you to understand her? Does that make sense?

“Look, can you please come to the SF9 concert if I asked you?!” Your sister asked, pleading. You were about to automatically say no however you knew this was your time to make her beg... This was your time to make her promise you that she will do any favor you ask her to do.

“Hmm... Are you paying for my ticket?” You asked, crossing your arms and without even giving it a second she automatically nodded her head.

“If I say yes... What am I benefiting from this?” You asked your sister and she began to look around and then looked at you right away.

“I WILL do anything! Please!” You loved moments like this especially when it’s perfect timing to use this to your advantage.

“Anything?” You asked your sister and she quickly nodded her head. You smiled evilly at yourself and sighed.

“If I say yes, you promise to leave me alone after this right?” You asked her and she nodded her head automatically.

“AND! You promise to do my part in the cleaning?” You asked and your sister took a minute to think about that however she nodded her head. Well, you could say yes right about now but there was one thing left.

“Get on your knees and beg,” at that moment your sister did as she was told and you were in complete shock. Wow, your sister was extremely desperate for these tickets.

“I’m kidding!” You quickly grabbed your sister by the arm and she got up and looked at you. Well, you could be an asshole and say no... Or you could give your sister a break for once, and well... Go to this concert...

“Fine...” At that moment you were pulled into a hug and you were completely shocked. What the hell just happened? Is your sister hugging you?

After agreeing on this, you knew there was no way to back down now... The truth was you didn’t want to go to any concert however since you said yes, your ticket was paid for and your sister had them.

“Y/S/N! Are you ready to go?” You asked patiently waiting in the living room however you haven’t seen your sister since you said yes.

“Almost done!” She screamed out and you pulled out your phone. You were hoping that you could go and get this over with. You wanted to curl up in a ball and watch a movie but nope here you were getting ready to listen to music your sister enjoys.

“I’m ready!” She snapped you out of your thoughts and you got up and took one look at your sister. She went all out. She had a cute outfit on and even her makeup done.

“Wow... You have really outdone yourself this time,” You said walking past her and she quickly followed behind you.

“What is that supposed to mean?”

By the time the two of you finally arrived, you looked outside of the car and saw a huge line waiting outside of the arena. Holy shit people really do listen to these boys.

“We’re here!” Your sister clapped and you could feel your father staring at her probably judging her or maybe that was just you.

“I see that...” You said still admiring how long the line was... It was from the front door of the arena till the very end... Cross that you couldn’t even see the end of the line...

“Let’s go!” Your sister says opened the car door and your eyes widened.

“Wait what... You’re telling me that we have to wait in that huge ass line... You gotta be kidding me,” You said looking at your sister, and you felt your father's eyes on you.

“Stop complaining for one night, and go have fun.” Did your father just say have fun? Is this man crazy?

“For your information, there is no way I will have fun here... And there is no way I will stop complaining until the night is officially over,” you said and your father just shook his head in disappointment.

Eventually, after basically dragging yourself out of the car you were now standing in line watching everyone around you already fangirling over this boy group. What are they called? Sff? Sf5? You didn’t care, you just came just so your sister can leave you alone after this.

“You have the tickets right?” You asked your sister and she smiled.

“Of course, they are right...” she says and she suddenly stops talking to you looking right at you...

“Wait... I gave you the tickets right,” Oh god... Just when you thought you were doing a good deed for your sister everything goes completely wrong!

“Please don’t tell me you forgot the tickets,” you said looking right at your sister but just from her not talking you could tell off of her facial expression that she fucked up and completely forgot the damn tickets...

She was completely quiet, you have no idea what is even running through her mind, and to be honest, you were a bit scared... Your sister was obsessed with this group so for this to happen... It was going to be a scary experience to watch.

“I...” She began to say and her eyes suddenly began to water.

Please don’t cry... PLEASE DON’T CRY.

“I... I,” you weren't the type to usually ever show your sister any type of sympathy or even any type of affection however you didn’t want your sister crying... Especially around all of these people because who knows they probably would assume that you are the reason she’s crying.

You pulled your sister into a hug and you could hear already cry. Oh lord. What the hell do you two do now? Your father just left and he was coming back once the concert was supposed to finish...

You didn’t want to deal with your sister feeling sad so you had an idea that might be illegal...

“Look I have an idea,” you said and your sister slowly pulled away and looked right at you when tears fell down. You wiped away her tears and sighed.

“How about... “ you stopped talking when suddenly your sister decided to interrupt you out of the blue.

“How about if I sneak in!” Wow, you had the same idea however it came out of her mouth... So if she gets caught... you’re pretty innocent.

“Yeah sure..” She instantly smiled and you were a bit taken back at how bipolar your sister was just crying a couple of minutes ago... However, instead of questioning her you just let the girl live.

However, you took one look down and the moment you looked up you noticed your sister was gone and out of your site. Where the hell did she go?

Just from that ... You had this feeling today was probably going to be a long day...

After going back and forth trying to look for your sister, you didn’t see her anywhere on-site... There was no one outside which must mean your sister got in without a problem... But what the hell do you do now?

You looked around and sighed...

Well, are you supposed to just stand out here and wait for your sister to come out or something? You didn’t know what to do to kill time but since there was a coffee shop nearby you decided to treat yourself and spend time there... Might as well, right?

You pulled out your phone and noticed people coming out of the arena. Did the concert finish? That must mean your sister was supposed to come out...

You began to walk around looking everywhere to find your sister but nothing. It was overly crowded so you quickly texted your sister saying you were going to meet her somewhere that had fewer people.

As you walked basically behind the arena, you found yourself in an alley. You have no idea how you even ended up here however you thought maybe your sister must have stayed inside to try to meet the boys... Aish that sounds like your sister...

You noticed a gray door and you had an idea. Maybe you can get in there and find your sister and stop her before she embarrasses herself. PERFECT!

Slowly you walked over to the door and before you knew it everything happened so quickly. The moment you grabbed a handle on the door you were about to pull it open till suddenly the door opened and you suddenly felt yourself on the ground.

You were so determined to get inside that you didn’t even carefully get a hold of the door, you carelessly grabbed the door and now you were on the ground because of that mistake.

“Oh, my!” You heard a deep voice say as you were on the ground and the moment you looked up you suddenly see about nine guys hovering you looking down the ground... Right at you...

“Hwiyoung did you kill her?”

“What no...”

“How was he supposed to know anyone was on the other side of the door?”

“You should always be careful opening doors.”

“Hyung, are you always careful?”

You had no idea what was happening but one thing you did know was that these boys were having a conversation right in front of you as you were trying to process life.

You felt your head throbbing at the pain. You eventually got yourself off the ground and sat up.

“She’s up!”

“Are you okay?” You looked at the one who was speaking to you and you began to rub your head.

“No I died, can’t you tell?” You fired back feeling your head throbbing and the guy looked completely taken back by your remark.

Usually, you’re not much of an asshole but you were in too much pain to care. You were planning to pick yourself off the ground but you suddenly see a hand from one of the guys right in front of you... They were offering their help...

You grabbed a hold of the guy's hand and we were now on your two feet. You looked up and there you saw nine guys all staring at you.

Well...

“I’m sorry... I-” before the guy could continue to say anything else, you suddenly recognized one of the guy's faces and realized... You were standing in front of the group your sister practically fangirls over.

“Wait... Are you boys SF9?”

Disclaimer: Take this with a grain of salt, energy constantly shifts. I'm not an expert and interpretations could not be the most correct, it's for entertainment purposes. Reading done 12-13/09.

Feels like there are not a lot of activities for the group, the cards took ages to come out. Apart from that, they are having a new opportunity, maybe not the whole group, but some members and there is an important excitement about it.
