Austria's Wheelchair

Okay, so it's canon Austria used to sit in wheelchair. It's only mentioned in text (so far) - *//nudges Hima to hopefully do something about it//* - but if Austria was/is in wheelchair from time to time it also makes sense why he's (still) such a slow walker in the manga/anime and why he even has to rest after short walks.

Austria is likely still building up the strength in his legs again.

Still, if I'm allowed to go into headcanon territory I like to think Austria still sometimes has to use his wheelchair during worse days for his legs. During those days Germany takes it upon himself to take Austria out for walks, with Austria in his wheelchair. Besides, it's a good way to make sure sure Austria still gets some fresh air and doesn't stay cooped up inside his house all day while they get to talk and catch up with each other. ♥ And perhaps more importantly, Austria trusts Germany with his wheelchair, and genuinely enjoys the walks they do together.

Hetalia World n Magic

It’s easy to forget at times, but magic is canon for Hetalia. Like, sure, we all know representations/avatars of countries like nations don’t exist in real life, but... magic-magic exist as well. Makes me wonder to what degree it can be used and has changed parts of the Hetalia-verse history compared to our own?

Can England accidentally summon a rainstorm in an American desert because he got lost and annoyed? Can Norway summon wind to ensure his ships will always be able to reach Iceland as fast as possible?

By what rules does the Hetalia magic go by? Can they make clean water with the magic? Food? Why/why not?

It’s interesting to think about what kind of magic system the Hetalia-verse might have, because the access to magic automatically changes things. Even if nations turns out to be the only human-like people in their universe who can use magic, their help would likely affect a lot on how humans view them as well.

Not to mention nations’ very existence means humans have access to “long forgotten” information our world don’t. “Dead” Languages could be revived in the Hetalia-verse, because their nations might remember them. (hws) China is canonly +4000 years old. Imagine everything he could tell historians? Things he remembers.

My point is, just the existence of nations and magic would automatically change a lot of history and the informations accessible to humans.

- “How the heck did they make (x) in the past?” - hws!Egypt: “Oh, they just (y) and (z).” - People: “HOLY, IT WORKS!”

But that also means we need to consider how much is different compared to our own world.

- Do they still have climate change? Why/why not?

- Does their personal relationships with other nations also affect governments relationships’? Why/why not?

- Were nations always able to teleport or is that a recent development to mirror humans being able to travel faster and faster?

So many questions, and so much to think about.

In the game where the WoL finds Ysayle in the heretic hideout, my headcanon had Ridel chased down by suspect Ishgardian soldiers while on his mission to seek out her hideaway. They were no sooner laid low by his "Moonshadow"- something he had yet to understand or control... and Ysayle had come upon the aftermath...

(It also was the reason why he, Alphinaud and Tataru were tried for herecy upon his return...)
