Every generation of shows and media will always have their own version of superwholock. And as much as how the internet cringes at superwholock it's always gonna be an expected phenomenon because people will always find different media that they enjoy and they will always want to see them together. And there's nothing really that bad about it because it's made with pure fun.
So yeah, enjoy your superwholocks. Enjoy your Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragon. And enjoy your pinescones and morditwi. What matters is that your having fun with what you're doing. And if people are bothered by it then that's their problem.

What I truly love most about the DC universe is how stupidly large it is. There are so many different Earths and timelines that you can merge it with another pic of media, and you can justify it by saying it's an entirely different timeline. The DCU is so diverse and wide that its compatible with literally everything.
The MCU? Bruce and Tony know each other due to being billionaire playboys with genius intellect and using their skills to become formidable heroes. Thor and Diana know each other, the League of Assassins is aware of Hydra and the Red Room, etc.
Miraculous Ladybug? Diana and Queen Hyppolita (a former ladybug) know all about the Miraculous and Marinette goes to the Justice League for assistance with Hawkmoth. Given the people they've been up against before, Hawkmoth would fit right in. The addition of the miraculous would be very natural to the DCU.
Danny Phantom? A teenaged boy with ghost powers from another realm ends up in Gotham and starts trolling people is something that would definitely happen in Gotham at some point. It was only a matter of time.
I swear the next DCU & Batman crossover fandom is going to be Avatar the Last Airbender or something. With the Justice League adopting these gremlin children. Bruce "I adopt strays every other week" Wayne would see Katara, Aang, Toph, Zuko, Sokka, and Suki and go "Mine." Sokka cracking jokes with Dick, Zuko and Damian getting on each other's nerves, Katara and Alfred bonding over how they have to keep feral children in check, Toph and Jason trying to declare dominance over each other every other second. Aang going around Gotham and following Bruce while he does Batman things, and surprisingly getting along great with Damian over their love for animals (Damian refuses to admit he got excited when Aang allowed him to ride Appa). The spirits in the atla world won't be so far off base in a world where there are aliens, demons, and demigods walking the earth.
Gothamite criminals everywhere would be getting their asses kicked. Soon Gotham has six more vigilantes, four of which have terrifying elemental abilities and the other two can throw hands. Blue Spirit Zuko throwing hands, Painted Lady Katara thrashing people with water and healing innocents, Blind Bandit Toph crushing people into the dirt, Kyoshi Warrior Suki striking fear in the hearts of hundreds, Boomerang Sokka coming up with these crazy but effective plans that give Batman a whiplash, Avatar Aang greasing anyone who hurts his friends.
And the rest of the Justice League are terrified.
Actually you know what?
alta x dc anyone?

ranting about wonder woman's daughter (spoilers ahead)
I gave tom king the benefit of the doubt so many times and i liked some of his most controversial stories... i have lots of his books in my shelf, but that's just insane to me, wonder woman is my favorite one, this is just garbage.
retconning the contest/trial just to have diana punch her mother? to have lizzie punch diana?
it still sucks for me that his idea was to create the sovereign, a "joker/lex luthor" type of menace as if she doesn't already had villains powerfull enough to give her a hard time. it still sucks that he decided to give diana a daughter even if fury still exists (somewhere in the multiverse). and it's not her first child in recent years too! who remembers that one justice league story from a few years ago when they gave her a son that she supposedly abandoned because he was a boy? oh in the same storyline where hyppolita became a mindless monster (also called the sovereign!). that's just recycling of bad ideas. but he probably didn't even knew about that. probably just a bad coincidence. and that's me again giving him the benefit of the doubt.
it still sucks that lizzie is not her biological daughter. it still sucks that she's called wonder woman's daughter when diana herself doesn't see herself as a mother. it still sucks that she's called wonder woman's daughter when diana didn't even raise her? what is up with those weird stories of jon and damian raising her? wonder robin? a mural of batman and superman in themyscira? with batman front and center? IN THEMYSCIRA???
if she's not her biological daughter and was saved by diana and trained as an amazon, what differs her from donna? and why aren't donna and cassie part of her upbringing? why are the supersons responsible for this child?
what's the point of giving diana a daughter if you strip her of every aspect of motherhood?
I defended g willow wilson against people online who hated her run, i thought she was so great, even if she didnt knew much about her at the beginning but she at least was able to reconcile diana and veronica (sort of) and bring her back to themyscira, continue previous plots from the rucka's run and bring ares back (bonus point for putting steve always shirtless and in need of saving)
i was even one of the few that actually enjoyed becky cloonan and michael's run. the stories sure could've been better planned but they got the spirit, build a strong wonderfam in activity and set the ground for a more modern structure of amazons in this new context. they gave me etta and diana acting truly as friends, they gave me three founding mothers for themyscira, they gave me doctor psycho stories (he is really fun to read).
I defended james robinson (!), he at least knew diana was strong enough and had her defeat darkseid and free the gods by herself
i've been reading wonder woman for years. i still have some runs i hadn't had the chance to read fully but basically everything in the past 20 years + perez era formed my love for this character. i hate how out of character she is right now. they should bring back that one rule if you wouldn't do this to batman or superman you shouldn't do it to wonder woman, that's truly disappointing.

Basically is a yandere mess. To put it simple, Bruce and Diana have a daughter together, however, Diana and Bruce barely spend any time with her, but where the parents lak, Alfred and Hyppolita step in and soon they become her parents and that's where the whole mess begins because now Hipollyta and Alfred are fighting for the title of favorite grandparent, all the while Diana and Bruce, noticeing their failure, try to fix things and miserable failing, since op no longer is a little child.
Broken Truth: A Daughter between Bruce and Diana - I always thought the two of them would end up together but he ended up with Catwoman - still a good ship in my opinion. Alfred and Hippolyta becoming the grandparents/adoptive parents sound like an interesting concept. Let the worlds weave together!!
The Butler of Wayne Manor was disappointed at his Master for ignoring his youngest child and only daughter but it was his place to pick up where Bruce left off. Alfred took care of [Name] - picking her up and dropping her off at school, making her delicious cookies and talking with her about her problems, reading her bedtime stories, and telling her about her late grandparents; [Name] once made the comment of calling Alfred 'Grandfather' and he told her about her real grandfather, but [Name] still called the butler Grandfather and spent her time with him long after entering high school. When [Name] grew into a young woman, Bruce realized just how much he missed out on his daughter's life and tried to make her accept him as her father but her response was always: "Not interested, Bruce. I'm hanging out with Grandpa this afternoon."; he knew by now that Alfred had replaced his place in his daughter's heart but that wasn't going to stop him from trying to get his daughter back.
On the Weekends, [Name] was sent to Themyscira to spend time with her mother - or rather - her grandmother because that's the only person she enjoyed talking to on the island. Hippolyta would shower her granddaughter with gems and love, training, and fine silks of Themyscira but that never interested [Name]; all she wanted was her grandmother's love and happiness. Diana would watch her daughter walk past her every time she came to the island and walk over to Hippolyta before the queen glared at Diana and walked away with [Name] to do something; Artemis would tell Diana that she was in the wrong for ignoring her daughter for as long as she did and now she lost her child to her own mother. Diana didn't like the sound of that and tried to get in [Name's] Good Graces, but failed due to her daughter's mature age and cold heart towards her.

Since how Custodian names you can make her full name just be something like:
Anna Atalanta Hyppolita etc. Which is just abbreviated by everyone to Anna for obvious reasons.
.... Oh shit I can do that!

Butterflies - the Ronance & Elmax connection
There's a lot of butterfly imagery especially related to El and Max. But there are also other moments with Robin & Nancy, Will's painting has a "butterfly" in it and of course Kali creating a butterfly projection.
"I can make people see or not see whatever I choose." - El: "Are you real?" before poking Kali's face. "I am real"
This had a very similar moment in Season 4. (Remember that El & Kali saw each other as "sisters", family because they were alike by the end)
"Are you real. Did I make you?" - "I am real."
The butterflies do appear everywhere, in Max's room, on a cushion in El's room, in Max's locker.
But what does it have to do with Robin and Nancy? Everything. It is in Steve's axe. A double-bladed axe. A Labrys.
He stands in-between Robin and Nancy holding the axe right in front of himself, connecting both girls with one another.
The Labrys also appears in Will's painting, held by a character that seems to be Dustin, however he is likely a proxy/stand-in. (The horses white leg covers his leg, making it a pale leg, a weak left leg. - Foreshadowing for this to be the case for Max in the shopping scene in Season 3- Also, a horned helmet symbolizes a leader character or commander in battlefield. And the Labrys itself looks as if the character is actually not meant who it seems to be. )
About the Labrys:
The Labrys, is an ancient symbol from the Minoan civilization, representing a stylized butterfly or the female labia. It was for example said to be the weapon of the Amazon queen Hyppolita carried by the God of the Carinas. It is the symbol of feminism, matriarchy and especially the symbol of the lesbian feminist movement since the 70s.
It is the embodiment of the female spirit.
Thinking of Hyppolita: she's the mother of Diana in the DC comics of Wonder Woman, the comic character reference of El.
The appearance of butterfly and double-bladed axes sends a clear feminist message ; taking a look at the characters the female characters are way more capable than their male counterparts, taking things in their hands, Max taking action against her brother while all the other boys just stand there and watch. Similar to Steve who freezes when Robin gets caught by the vines. Some of the boys have/had sexist and misogynistic moments ; the male driven rules are questioned for example by Max. And the antagonists are all abusive or power drunken males. - It is also a reflection of the more sexist and conservative era, in real life and pop culture, of the 80s. The few female characters that are indeed good feminist representation are those the 40+ generation likes to point out as good feminism in relation to modern pop culture while ignoring the misogynistic rest. The so called "good old times". Fucking 80s.
Exemplified is this duality between male and female by One and Eleven who are clear foils and represent darkness and light, death and life etc. (as pointed out in detail in the post attached to my account page)
Think the boys are the main driving factor saving the world? I wouldn't bet on it. Actually, I would not be surprised that Stranger Things will have a much more feminist drive and message, about female empowerment by the end. There is a clue for this in Max's skateboard park memory. And some of the scenes clearly point in this direction.
"There's more to life than stupid boys. We make our own rules.", Max in the final memory during the revival scene. (Wonder Woman was a member of the Star Sapphire Corps, a all female Latern Corps whose main powers are regeneration and resurrection. More in a different post. Their color is violet/purple)
The Labrys also gives you a clear hint that female characters, associated with butterflies are not only strong feminist characters but also sapphic and in certain relationships meant to be romantically engaged.
Elmax is meant as a feminist sapphic couple and so is Ronance (Vickie is likely just a crush ; an analysis of the "right side" character points to this). Why otherwise build this? - Besides there are two couples Ronance seems to be based on, one a fan ship because of the sapphic undertones in the dialogs. Another possible inspo is a gay couple that adopts a queer kid who carries the "soul" of their lover inside.
And there are moments of proxy dialog especially from Robin during her coming out and in her talk with Steve that link her to El & Max.
I'll talk about these elements in a different posts though. Let's just say that there are huge clues for feminist and sapphic couples in Season 5 and the butterfly/Labrys is just one of it.

“She was raised in a community who did nothing but treat her with respect, and kindness, and equality. And so that’s all she expects from people and that’s all she gives them in return. [...] So Wonder Woman is here to teach mankind a better way of living, that can only shape the worldview of the character and it certainly shapes the way creators think about her, and the energies they bring to her.”

It's pretty sad that this is the last solo issue of Justice League Dark before it will be included as a backstory in Justice League Book in DC Infinite Frontier. Today DC drop two Endless Winter-related issues and this issue of Justice League Dark becomes the seventh part of Endless Winter storyline. This issue continues Titans Endless Winter story. In that story, we see that Donna brings Barry to Themyscira to meet Queen Hippolyta and tells him the backstory of The Frost King. Then, Barry brings her to the Oblivion Bar. There, she tells that story to Diana, Barry, and other JLD members. Then, Diana & Zee go to New Myrra, formerly The Other Place where The JLD fought The Upside-Down Man to ask a help from Swamp-Thing. But, he becomes a part of New Myrra now and he can't leave that place. So, he thinks an alternative way. Meanwhile, Bobo, Kirk, & Khalid help Hyppolita to summon The Viking Prince's soul from Valhalla who died after he fought The Frost King alongside Hyppolita & Black Adam. After that, Diana & Zee come back from New Myrra & bring a part of Swamp-Thing from that place. That thing is merged with The Viking Prince's soul so he becomes the new champion of the green. This storyline has been interesting so far. This is continued in Black Adam story before becomes concluded in Justice League: Endless Winter #2 next week. Perhaps we can see all of the heroes fight The Frost King together. Plus, Amancay Nahuelpan's art is absolutely amazing here 😍. I gonna miss his art in Justice League Dark book.
