#hyrule castle

It’s weird cause when you enter Hyrule Castle in BotW it gives you this whole big Ganon-roars-ooh-scary-go-fight-him cutscene but then you talk to that lady at the stable and she totally expects you to get her some gear from the castle, and there’s that one guy who wants the recipes and I’m thinking why really bother if the castle’s meant to be looted anyway? The developers made it a bigger deal than I think it should’ve been.

Direct? Botw 2 trailer? Next week? I can only hope.

If not, I suppose it’s just more one-shots like this to tide us over…

I’m trying to post more content because the rest of the world is ending. Please let me know if I’ve sacrificed quality for quantity and I’ll stop. Been a couple weeks since I’ve been told I’m crap, go for it.

Their feet crunched in the snow in an unpredictable pattern, a rhythm as they ascended the snowy hill. It was the only sound that was heard in the silence between Zelda and Link.

He looked over to her as they walked, her forward glance ensuring she didn’t notice. Link was worried that her attire wasn’t warm enough, yet she seemed just fine. Her newly cut hair stopped right above the wool at her neck, the regality of her gold-encrusted white coat apparently accounted for the cold, it being made of Rito feathers much like Link’s apparel.

He could see her breaths much like he could see his. There was a slight coloration on her cheeks, the bridge of her nose, yet it was no different than how he most assuredly looked.

His concern proved pointless, Link returned to his own forward gaze.

“Up this way,” he said with a slight gesture of his head. The path up Mount Hylia seemed to spiral upwards to its’ peak, Zelda stopping to peer up at it.

Her exhale came out as a puff of air, Link stopping next to her.

“I’m not surprised that he was buried here,” Zelda said quietly. “His people knew him well.”

Zelda started up the incline, Link following suit.

What it looks like when you reach the end-game with the One-Hit Obliterator. It’s pretty simple to do, actually. Obviously you have to have completed the four Divine Beasts so that the first part of the Champions’ Ballad will begin. (You have to make sure the Obliterator appears in the Shrine of Resurrection, ready to be picked up.)

Then you just go and fight Calamity Ganon, escape the Dark Beast Ganon fight, go to the Great Plateau, pick up the Obliterator, and use the Bow of Light to finish Ganon from the GP itself. You can do this without leaving the Great Plateau, which is pretty convenient. Then just sit back and enjoy seeing Link with the de-powered Obliterator on his back during these two cutscenes.

I wasn’t trying to get out of bounds at Hyrule Castle, but since I did I decided to explore around a bit anyway. It’s weird seeing the rooms from the inside out, and sometimes they’re not properly loaded, either!
