This is from like March so it isn’t my best work, but I wanted to show some of my efforts to change up the whole blue eye thing. Some of it (Sky, Wild, and Wars) still shows up in my new stuff :)

I’m gonna go a bit more in-depth so if you don’t want to read it might not want to open this

Sky I wanted to look really innocent, because that’s how people perceive him (don’t be fooled he’s an absolute gremlin). I also gave him glowing diamonds/rhombus pupils (you can see them in that other drawing I have of his eye. I like drawing eyes if you couldn’t tell). The red is for his loftwing. Also freckles are cute.

Four’s eyes are meant to be similarly shaped to Sky’s but more narrowed. They’re brown at the base, but have ‘rainbow’ reflections throughout them.

Ignoring Time’s markings, the big thing I want to be noticed is how angular his eyes are. I tried to reference the whole low-poly thing but idk how well it came across. Also made sure to keep his eye color super saturated to tie into how bright the colors are in oot.

Twilight’s eyes are a droopier version of Time’s eyes, with more lashes. Also they are a bit more green and have red/yellow on the inside and slit pupils. He had plain blue eyes before coming into contact with Twili magic, but changing your shape so many times has consequences. Also you can’t see it here but I like to think he has tapetum lucidium. I might rework his a little.

Wind’s eyes are big and round, like a toon Link’s should be. I tried to show light filtering through water, but idk how well it worked.

Legend is TIRED and has purpleish blue eyes because someone said it’s be cool once. Idk there wasn’t much thought for his.

Hyrule’s eyes are green, and change shape like a cartoon character. I think it’s be cool and also a fun show of passive magic. He doesn’t even realize he’s doing it.

Warriors has deep blue eyes and impeccable makeup. Classic pretty boy.

Wilds right eye has Shekiah runes in it, and his left is blurred out as a way of showing damage without just pushing it off or being too gory. Also he’s got the same eyeliner as in game because I like it.

Look i spend way too much time thinking about these boys

time is agent 3 (basically) confirmed. so wild is def agent 8. wind is agent 4 (forgotten 💀) and I have decided to put twi into neo 3.

all these things came to me in a vision (its because twi has the mammalian stuff on him)

wars would be marie?? I forgor who gave me the idea of making him an idol but its going on here now

On Time Travel and Birthdays

October 2 Prompt: Family, Friends, Loved Ones (Flufftober)

In hindsight, Twilight was surprised it took so long for it to come up. Birthdays could be funny things, but they were important. But, somehow, they never came up during the whole first month that Twilight spent traveling with this new group of heroes. And when it finally did come up it seemed to catch everyone off guard.

It all started shortly after they were lucky enough to find an inn along the road they were traveling on and decided to stop for the evening despite there being some daylight left. They were all relieved to get off the road for a short time and that relief only increased when a strong storm blew in later that evening.

Things seemed to be going well, they were safe and dry and had actual beds to sleep in for the night, but then Time got to talking with the inkeeper and managed to figure out exactly how long they had been traveling together. This didn’t seem like a big deal at first, mostly just useful information to have, but not long after Twilight noticed that Wind was quieter than normal. More subdued. Something had clearly upset him. And Twilight wanted to know what it was. So he quietly pulled the young sailor aside to ask him.

Thankfully, Wind had yet to develop the need to refuse to talk about what was bothering him that many of the others seemed to have. So it didn’t take long for Twilight to find out what had their youngest so down.

“It’s nothing important,” Wind tried to reassure the older hero. “I just realized that if Time’s count of how long we’ve been at this is right then tomorrow is my birthday. And I’ve just…I’ve never been away from home on my birthday before. That’s all.”

“Tomorrow is your birthday?!” Whoops. Clearly they hadn’t been quite far enough away from everyone to keep from being overheard. And now Legend had announced it to the entire group. Wind’s ears were turning a distinctly red color, but there was no stopping it now as the rest of their group immediately turned to look at them.

“Why didn’t you say anything, Sailor?!” Warriors asked, scandalized.

“I lost track of time!” Wind threw his hands up in the air. “I didn’t realize we were this close! We’ve been a little busy, you know!”

“That is true,” Time acknowledged, cutting in. “But we know now. So is there anything you want us to do to celebrate tomorrow, Sailor?” Wind faltered in surprise at the question before shaking his head.

“I…um…Grandma always made her soup for dinner. And we’d have a cake. But she’s not here to make those so…I don’t know.”

“I’m sure we can figure something out,” Time reassured him, catching Wild’s gaze for a moment before looking back at their youngest.

“Hold up.” Legend cut in, sharply. “Let’s clear something up before we fully dive into planning for Wind’s birthday. When is everyone else’s birthday? I don’t want to get caught off guard like this again. Mine is thirty days after the spring equinox.” There was a brief lull in conversation at the suggestion, but soon enough the group was rattling off birthdays. A couple of them had to take time to count the days, since they’d long ago figured out that their calendars weren’t quite the same, but counting from something like an equinox or solstice worked well enough and it didn’t take long for everyone to share their birthdays.

Well. Almost everyone. One by one, the rest of The Chain began to turn to look at Wild and the attention had the young man’s ears turning red.

“Amnesia, remember?” Wild pointed out with a shrug. “I have no idea when I was born.”

“Then when do you celebrate?” Wind asked, tilting his head.

“I don’t.” It was a blunt, unbothered reply, but it caused a small ripple of unease to travel through the rest of the group.

“Well that’s no good.” Hyrule noted with a frown. “You’ve got to have a birthday. You can just pick one you know. That’s what I did. How about when you woke up in the shrine? That’s kind of like a new birth right?”

“I don’t know when that was either.” Wild shifted uncomfortably. “I wasn’t really keeping track of days back then, you know? I was kind of busy figuring out…things.”

“Do you know what time of year it was at least?” Twilight asked after a beat of silence and Wild frowned.

“I…I’m pretty sure it was in the fall.” Wild told them after a moment, brow furrowed. “I remember thinking about how pretty the leaves were, with all their colors.”

“Then you can just pick a day in the Fall!” Wind grinned. “Whatever day you like best!” Wild visibly faltered again, eyes a bit wider than normal.

“I…um…Can I think on it?” He sounded rather overwhelmed and Twilight couldn’t help but cut in.

The Villains and how they kiss

Ganondorf

His kisses are warm and very passionate, especially when in public.

His hand tilting his S/O's chin while his other hand holds them close by the waist is his preferred way to kiss them. However Ganondorf will kiss them at random times during the day, ranging from a quick peck on the lips to them making out in a hallway.

100% of the time, Ganondorf will accidentally tickle his S/O with his beard, but neither of them care since hearing their laughter is what he loves the most.

Ghirahim

His lips, like his entire body, are cold to the touch. Which can be a blessing during the hot summer days or a curse during the winter. Of course, Ghirahim uses this to his advantage since during summers he can kiss and cuddle with his S/O for longer and during winter he can tease them by kissing them in the neck or back just to see them jump in surprise from the cold.

Ghirahim aslo likes to be dramatic by dipping as they kiss especially when they're out on a date.

When they're all alone, Ghirahim becomes more tender and needy with his kisses, not affeaod of being vulnerable in front of the one he loves. In this case, Ghirahim will pepper kisses all over their face until he reaches their lips, where he'll kiss them as if he were holding on to dear life.

Zant

In the beginning Zant was inexperiencedand very insecure, his kisses were quick, chaste kisses, barely even touching his S/O's lips fearing they'd be disgusted with him.

But with a bit of coaxing and encouragement, Zant gathered up the courage to kiss them properly and how he'd wanted to for so long. His hand gently resting on their cheek as he kisses them over and over again, savoring each and everyone one of those kisses.

Whenever he get carried away, he'll start purring because when he's kissing them is when he feels happy and safe. Meanwhile every time he kisses them he'll hold them tight either with one or both arms, especially holding them as close as possible because Zant lowkey is very clingy.
