Thinking about Vox Machina after a long trip and they’re trying to ration their funds so they all stay in the same room for the night. Their armor and weapons are in various levels of organization depending on whose it is, some neatly put away and others thrown off with little care. Maybe the weather isn’t all too good and neither is the room, so it’s a bit cold.

Grog is on the floor because he’s too big for the bed and Pike is cuddled up with him on his chest, Scanlan leaning against his leg.

Vex’ahlia is in the room’s only bed with Keyleth, and both of them run on the warmer side, so the cold doesn’t really get to them. Vex’s feathers and Keyleth’s antlers are both on the bedside table, though both of them have mussed hair from the other running their hands through it.

Vax’ildan is also on the floor, though leaned up against the bed frame. Percy is using his thighs as a pillow and facing toward the half-elf’s stomach, trusting Vax to protect him if something were to happen while they were asleep. Vax has a hand resting in Percival’s hair and the other on the small of his back.

It’s a nice night.
