ngl, i think he'd intimidate a lot of your family members into silence if you bring him over to family dinners or get-togethers LMAO. like just seeing this tall boy with a bunch of piercings and unconventional clothing for guys his age would, yes, earn him a lot of stares, but he'd also kind of intimidate those tryhard male cousins you might have (you know the type, the wanna get jowas and emo sadboys ueueue).

despite how hobie looks like, he's actually super friendly to all your relatives, he doesn't judge by how they look, in fact he doesn't judge, he observes and bases his opinions of them from there. he always has something nice to say to your relatives, even if they might have a lot of criticisms to say about him.

that's the other reason you got together with him, actually. even if you have a lot of negative things to say or think about yourself, or internalized bad thoughts about who you are or look like from your family or peers, he always has kinder words that you deserve to hear and will consistently inconsistently (through other words, actions, and gifts) remind you of who you, the amazingly wonderful individual who came into his life, really are all the time.

I could push through with this. It’s the chemistry ones left anyway." That was your attempt to stay optimistic given your current situation.

Minutes passed, and you continued to work through your school tasks for the night. After a while, you paused. Again. "Geez, it feels like these are never-ending." You scanned around your desk until your eyes landed on your phone resting beside you. "Hm. Taking a break wouldn’t hurt now, would it?" It was most likely that you didn’t notice that time passed by so quickly. You only figured that out once you glanced at the top of your phone screen, where the time was displayed. "Huh," you blinked. ik theres a lot of criticism about alastor’s design not properly representing his race, which is a valid concern but

firstly we haven’t gotten the whole show yet and we don’t know how well his character is actually portrayed - so accusing people like viv of being racist or that alastor is shit rep cannot really be properly backed up at this time

secondly alastor is mixed. we don’t know exactly what percentages or whatever, but we know that he is partially black, either half black or less than half black (considering that he is half creole). i see a lot of people saying “that is not a black man” “that’s such a white guy”

i am mixed race. i am not black, but i am half filipino and half white. i myself have been told that i’m too white, or that i’m not really asian, or that i’m not asian enough. my skin is too pale. my hair isn’t thick enough. my facial features aren’t “filipino” enough. i’m whitewashing myself.

i’m not dismissing white washing or bad representation at all - but since we’re, firstly, not sure how alastor is handled in the full show, and secondly, people are SAYING that he’s “not really black” or “not black enough”

mixed people receive this all the time. erasure of our racial identities, feeling like we don’t fit in anywhere because we /look different/. it really upsets me to see people make these comments. if you have your (respectful!) criticisms, then of course let them be known if you would like. spread awareness. but i advise you not to make comments like the ones i pointed out (they can be very invalidating to mixed-race people), and to keep an open mind for the full series - it may surprise you.

- To me she seems like the kind of person who would have little habits/ticks she likes to do like twirling her pencil around, bouncing her leg while she’s sitting, skipping around in place those sort of things!!!

- She also likes to gesticulate with her hands a lot so she can get her point across, and it helps her keep track of her thoughts too when she’s speaking to someone

- Her, Kazui, and Mikoto like to hang out occasionally! I feel like they would volunteer together at an animal shelter to help out! :D

I actually have a shit ton of Ace’s big brother headcanons so I’m gonna go ahead and throw this in your inbox😫

Ok so first of all. I like to think he has a name that’s also related to Alice in wonderland so something like Hare or king or a Filipino name (Cause I’m a believer in the Filipino Ace headcanon) like Angelo or Lester. For now we’ll call him K.

First thing’s first, this guy was a straight A student even though he was a slacker and didn’t like doing shit. But when he studied he *studied*. the first time he spoke to Sam he actually needed something from him so he was lying out of his ass the whole time(Sam found this out when he was Senior and was lowkey impressed and annoyed). He has three pictures of Ace in his wallet, one when he was a toddler one a child and one now. When he found out Ace was going to NRC he threw a small party, only inviting close friends and family. He’s in and out of relationships every other month, longest one he’s been in lasted a year(everyone was surprised). Continuing the last point, that relationship was with Sebeks brother, they’re still friends and talk regularly though. Trein was and still is his favorite teacher, and even though he doesn’t show it Trein likes him a lot. He was the one to create the board game club because “the other clubs are so boring”. When he was around 18 he got a tattoo of an Ace Of Hearts because Ace. His home screen is an old family photo with his parents and Ace and the inside is his with Sam and Sebeks brother. Speaking of Sebeks brother, they always talk about their brothers together. The housewarden of Pomfiore when he was in his 2-4th year has a huge crush on him and hated the fact that he didn’t like him back(K was and still is an oblivious dumbass). He flirts without realizing he’s flirting. Can hold his liquor, doesn’t like drinking. Smokes every now and then (nothing heavy don’t worry). Was a mechanical engineer major and now works in an amusement park(this one is true, he does in fact work there in canon). His best subject was potions, but he always had “beef” with Crewel(friendly fighting). Was supposed to be the vice-housewarden but he didn’t want to deal with all that responsibility. Was a model for a few years. While Ace looks more like his mom K looks more like his dad, but they still resemble her more. ✨dimples✨. He sounds a bit like Howl from howls moving Castle. While he loves annoying Ace more than everything ever, if he ever called K he would drop everything to make sure he’s alright.

And uh yeah, that’s all I can think about at this time!!
