full disclosure i've been sitting on this thought ever since i first read blackbird but the amount of emotional whiplash i've been put through both from silly season and life in general has prevented me from stringing it into a coherent ask

but like i've been thinking about danny his little birdie getting matching blackbird tattoos on their leg and when they stand together it looks like the two birds are taking flight. thinking about how some of their favorite pictures are the ones taken on balmy summer nights, where the two of them are pressed together so close, where you can see the two little birds taking flight together, twin flames. and thinking about how it becomes the spot that danny always kisses when he's slotted between her thighs, the spot he worries his thumb over when they're pressed under the covers late at night. he doesn't even need to see it to know it's the right spot, the muscle memory is there.

star babes. star, my love. star. i saw this ask this morning and it kept me going all day. i actually had a note while i was writing Blackbird that just said “stick and poke tattoos?” but i didn’t find a way to work it in, so this is perfect i love it thank you so much. adding a read more bc this got long.

i think they’d get the tattoos after they’ve been together for a bit, but tbh not that long? like maybe they’re hanging out over Danny’s winter break and they pass by a tattoo shop and she suggests it and he is absolutely all for it. like yeah matching tattoos are sort of a big deal but it’s not like they’re getting each other’s names, right?

they go in and start looking through the flash designs, and when Danny finds the little bird they’re both set on it. they hold each other’s hands through the process. it’s adorable. he’d get his on his left leg so it stands out, so it’s prominent and not hidden away in all the other ones he has. ugh i can picture them in the tattoo parlor, standing close together while the artist puts the stencil on so they can make sure they line up perfectly.

she’s always liked his tattoos, loves tracing them, but that one’s special because it’s hers, too, you know? and Danny… he’s got a whole photo album on his phone dedicated to her tattoo. some of the pics are sweet and innocent- her in shorts on a camping trip where you can see it peeking out, the picture from the tattoo parlor when it was fresh. but some of them are also for his eyes only. his hand around her thigh, the little birdie between his fingers, her in her underwear, the bird displayed prominently, hickeys and bite marks all around it. you get the idea.

in my head they go on camping trips together a lot. i think they’d sit around the campfire in separate chairs, but close enough that their legs are pressed together. he hates when it gets chilly enough that she puts pants on. definitely pushes the hem of her shorts up if they’re covering the tattoo just so he can see it.

can so see her kissing his thighs when she goes down on him and paying special attention to that spot. he does the same for her. and he def runs his thumb over it as he’s falling asleep, sometimes in his sleep. he swears the skin feels different. she’d call him crazy if he didn’t find the spot every time without even looking.

also i think eventually his nickname for her morphs into just straight up Birdie. and when she meets his friends/people in the paddock they’re surprised to find out that’s not actually her name. just a lil headcanon of mine. someone definitely asks if the tattoo is bc of her name and she’s like… “oh that’s actually not my name, it’s a nickname, but Danny has a matching one!” and he’s either pulling up his shorts or pulling down his pants to show his off

would be so eager about it too, like arent you fathering megumi and tsumiki ??? dude

my hc is that yes he took them in around 18 and you were already together with him and getting used to taking care of the two kids

but he would randomly get baby fever while seeing you be so caring and loving to the two, and not to mention for the first two years megumi usually stuck by you LMAOOO

tsumiki warms up to gojo more or less but theres still some barrier between gojo and the kids

so one day while youre both waiting for megumi and tsumiki at their school two years later he randomly announces in his annoying voice that “we should make a baby!!!!”

god the faces of all the parents waiting together with them 😭😭😭 and it’s so funny too cause it’s implied in S1 the siblings walk home together without a guardian and they would do perfectly fine without the two of you.

and bc of megumi’s usual embarrassment of gojo (and sometimes you) he tells you two to stay home cause he knows where you guys live but gojo just HAD to bring you here today bc he finished a mission nearby (lies. his fav kikufuku store opened an outlet near the school) and whats wrong with wanting to see the kids ya know

but anyway you seized his arm and slapped it just as the kids were coming out and shoved him so hard he almost fell. he fake cried that night in your arms and megumi made sure to ban you both from visiting both their schools ever again (it was right next to each other)

it doesnt seem to affect gojo much however until megumi brings home a consent slip for a farm excursion and hes like sure! he goes on the website of the farm and gets a splendid idea

“we are not getting a duck, satoru,” you sigh with your hands on your hips because when gojo begs like that it’s just so adorable, but the other doesn’t let up, using his blue-eyed charm on you and you hate to admit that it’s working — except maybe you would give in if it was a cat or a dog or even a hamster.

“a duck?”

gojo shoots up immediately and you’re reminded of his impending height compared to yours, “yes!”

“no!”

your boyfriend pouts again and reverts to his submission-to-you pose as tsumiki likes to call it, “pleaseee?”

you make a big dramatic out of thinking, “hm, get on your knees.”

gojo’s surprised but he does it without a second thought and you’re taken aback just a little at his obedience. if this was the way to get him to properly wash the kids’ clothes or to clean up after eating in the messiest way known to man, you’d get him to do it all the time, but you’re snapped out of your little realisation when megumi opens the door, tsumiki next to him giggling non-stop — the excursion bus probably had dropped them off on the front porch.

“what’s going on?” you’d think it was the other way round: the two siblings being the responsible adults whilst you two were acting like kids, especially with the way megumi asks the question. gojo isn’t phased.

“trying to convince your surrogate mother here,” gojo nudges his head toward you with a slight scowl on his face, “to get us a duck.” your hand lands a smack against the back of his neck.

megumi pulls a face and tsumiki only laughs even more and starts to nudge megumi with choked laughter, seeing his hands start to form a sign: his rabbit, no, divine dogs shikigami—

four ducks start materialising from shadows, crowding around the two of you and bombarding you with both quacks and playful nips on your skin and your temporary anger with your boyfriend fades, focusing on the seemingly happy faces of the ducks and the way they waddle. you’re stuck in between laughter and the softness of their feathers until—

“oh, this is their natural state, but they turn into angry, sorta scary geese on command too, although i haven’t really gotten the hang on it—”

gojo’s eyes widen, “megs, no!”

needless to say, megumi sits a little sheepishly later as he watches gojo clean up your scratches and mild wounds, getting a well-deserved (light) lecture and a kiss on the forehead later from you for discovering a new shikigami during movie night, gaining a little smile from gojo as he cuddles a sleeping tsumiki closer.

Interesting that the photo Anna posted on her social of her and Georgia is perfectly clear and shows how close they are and that their “besties” but Michael and David are blurred so we can’t see them?? Also interested to see what their all working on together, or at least what Anna’s clearly filming since she’s posting in her dressing room

Well, let's get the visual up first, for folks who haven't seen the post being referenced here:

The first thing I have to say is that I am absolutely so delighted to see a picture of Michael and David sitting together. I feel like we haven't gotten to see them with each other in ages, even though the GO 2 interviews were just a few months ago, and it truly warms my heart to know they are getting together and seeing each other while Michael is in London.

What also came to mind when seeing this was that this is definitely serving "couples," but I'm not sure they are the couples AL maybe intended. Were I a casual viewer who had no idea of the relationship status of anyone here, I would assume Georgia/AL were one couple and Michael/David were the other. But when you look closer, it's even more difficult to characterize the former as a couple, because the picture of them is so posed. The picture of Georgia and AL just feels so cold, whereas Michael and David very much give off the vibe of not needing to take a posed picture just to look like they are close, because you can feel the warmth coming from them even in a blurry photo.

This also touches on your point about AL/Georgia's pic being clear and in focus and Michael/David's pic being blurry. Part of me wonders if they were caught slightly off guard, as Michael seems to have a bit of a "deer in the headlights" expression on his face and David looks like he wasn't even looking in her direction. And again, the contrast: AL and Georgia get to take their time, make sure they look good for their picture, but the same thought and care does not appear to have been extended to Michael and David. The feeling it gives me is of AL wanting the spotlight and including Michael/David because she knows that is what will give the post more traction and visibility.

Also, to what you said about AL filming in a dressing room (which refers to another Insta story she posted earlier today), I don't get the sense that they are working on anything together, as the pics in the second post appear to have been taken in someone's home (if you look at the mirror picture, AL has blurred out pictures on the wall behind her), so my feeling is that this was at David and Georgia's home. I had hoped that there was a chance Michael got to watch the DW 60th anniversary special, and so it certainly seems possible that he actually got to watch it with David, and I feel all tingly just at the thought of how adorable they must have been.

Again, I am thrilled that we've finally gotten another picture of Michael and David together, so that's what I am focusing on the most here. As always, I welcome any thoughts from my followers in the comments, so feel free to chime in...

I haven't had a chance to post Mileapo in a while, but I had to scream over this... The other day, Apo shared a bunch of throwback pics from recent travels. Despite all the people who we know were there, the only other person featured in Apo's photos was Mile. And what a pic it is! Intimate and, with the way it captures the light caressing Mile's features, it also reflects IMO soft adoration.

But then Apo also posted a selfie, and it's of him wearing the Dior shirt that people speculated was Mile's.

It's the same shirt as in this selfie, which Apo quickly deleted...

Now technically, it's a Dior shirt, so they both might have gotten an identical one from the brand, BUT... if they did, they would probably both be expected to be seen with theirs in public, yet we only saw Mile wearing his out and about, during their Hong Kong trip. Apo only wore this shirt in the two selfies above, both taken inside the hotel suite. Yes, the same hotel suite that Mileapo might have shared... So. There's a good chance this is Mile's shirt, indeed.

Anyway, I love how so much of what they post is about each other, even if sometimes it's just hints. You can tell just how much emotional space they take up in each other's life. Who wouldn't want to have this kind of devotion, too?

And if I'm posting some Mileapo love already, how about this sweet moment, from Dec 9, when they went out together with some of the BOC staff, after their Bento event in China? For me, it's the way Mile whispers something to Apo, and then you see Apo throwing his head back, and you can just fill in that huge, "my hubby is so funny" laughter. I love them, your honor. If anyone wants to cry over some Mileapo love with me, please do!

idk why but I see dad!Bakugou with a girl who’s literally as aggressive as he was when he was a kid and after experiencing trying to handle her first–hand, he’ll probably feel so guilty for his parents cuz he knows she’s how he used to be (midoriya can swear by it 🏃‍♀️💨) Mitsuki gonna feel like she’s going through a deja vu or smth watching Bakugou and his daughter arguing nonstop because that’s how little Katsuki and her would used to be 😭😭 His daughter would probably be afraid of Mitsuki since she’s an expert in her ‘type’ after dealing with Bakugou for years and she can literally bring gremlins like her down so easily. Mitsuki tells you all the stories from Bakugou’s childhood and that always gets him begging her to stop cuz he’s just so cringed out by himself 💀 But the two of you also bond over your gremlin babies and you never forget to take down some notes from the expert (Bakugou eavesdrops as well so he can learn some techniques too)

Now with Midoriya, I feel like he’ll have a daughter who really likes to dress up and be pretty and he’s always her personal photographer and adding her pics to his collection of photo albums from when you first gave birth to her. But that does mean that she’s ‘weak’ or anything. No no! I think Midoriya would teach her how to stand up for herself from a very young age because he doesn’t want his daughter to go through what he went through as a child. She’s probably also pretty good friends with Bakugou’s kid (I imagine Bakugou’s girl being a year older or the same age as her) and they’re the duo that NEVER lets anyone walk over them (their parents are so proud of them 💕) And also, I think Midoriya’s kid would aim to be No.1 to be just like her dad and she’s always striving for her goals (girlboss 💯)

With dad!Todoroki, I think he’ll have twin boys who are around the other two’s age as well, perhaps a year younger or the same age and Todoroki would really much want his boys to be friends with his friends’ daughters. Endeavour would 100% spoil them with anything and everything they want. The boys want the toy they saw their friends playing with? He’ll get one for each of them in all the colours available. They want some bedtime stories (to stay up late longer)? Grandpa is going back to 30 years ago and telling them his whole hero career story. He’s probably well aware of the fact that they’re using him but who cares ❤️ They’re being treated like absolute royalty by their grandpa that Todoroki’s always breaking internally like ‘dad…stop you’re ruining my kids 😨’ I also think that you’ll give birth to a girl a few years later when the boys are 3/4 years old and grandpa is shaking and crying at how adorable she is. (Bonus points if one of the kids look like him and he’ll think he’s ready to die peacefully anytime) Endeavour’s photo album is full of his grandkids and whenever he’s on the plane or gets bored, he’ll turn on his phone and look through the pics 😭😭😭 The kids absolutely love their grandpa so much and it’s too cute :((

A/N: I’ve been dealing with waaayyyy too much the past few days and needed to get my emotions out somehow. The way I see it: big bad horrible Navy man dies, I need sweet ray of sunshine Navy man to swoop in. I used the gif of his dress whites because besides the fact that he’s adorable in them, the only time we see him in his blues is…

I also included the scrapbook pics I mentioned at the end of the story.

It was all starting to become too much. The pavilion was feeling 100 times smaller with each passing second. Everyone had something nice to say about him which made you wonder if you had fallen into an alternate reality. In your reality, he was none of these things. He was a horrible man.

“He was a father who cared deeply, and could be strict at times.” You mean when he threw your mother to the floor in front of her siblings? When he would… No, bite your tongue, now’s not the time.

“He showed up to all of the boys’ football games, when he could.” Of course you were hearing this second hand but as far as you knew, he didn’t show up for jack shit. Maybe he went to your cousins’ games but otherwise he was too self-centered.

Hearing all of these things massively contradicted everything you had known about the man. It contradicted all of the trauma he caused for your mom and aunt. If anything, this man should have won an Oscar for how well he hid all of the smarmy shit he’s done in his life. One of your cousins was beside himself because he didn’t know how to feel. He didn’t have a relationship with the man either and he didn’t know how to process it. But with him being 13 years younger and not quite old enough to learn all of the family trauma, you try your best to console him but feel like you fell flat when he needed you.

The entire situation was suffocating and you needed some air. Finding a spot on the far side of one of the cremation walls, you collapse. Just needing to somehow catch your breath. Taking in your surroundings to ground yourself; counting the trees, counting the birds, closing your eyes and pretending you just don’t exist for a few moments. That was, until you felt a hand on your shoulder. Looking up, your eyes locked onto another set that were all too familiar.

“I was wondering where you ran off to.” Tom said, sitting down next to you.

“Careful, don’t mess up your uniform.” You say, wiping away some tears.

“I’m more worried about you right now.” He says, giving you a look. Having known Ice as long as you have, he knows most of the story about why you don’t have a relationship with your grandfather. You could even see him trying not to make a face during the ceremony.

“Aside from the lies and finding my pictures in his photo album yesterday, I’m-“

“I’m sorry, you what?” the world seemed to slow when you heard the tone change in his voice from concern to anger.

“My pictures. He had pictures of me from when I was 3, 6, and 7 or 8 in his scrapbook. I couldn’t even explain the feelings that have been swirling around in my head since then.” Other than the fact it made you want to vomit.

“Do you know how he got them?”

“No. Neither mom nor I know how because she sure as shit didn’t send them to him. He even had a newspaper clipping from my grandparent’s anniversary announcement. I mean, I get at one point they were in laws but it doesn’t make it any less disturbing.”

“On the bright side, it’s all over. You don’t have to worry about running into him anymore, having to hide your daughter from him anymore, it’s done.” He says, standing up. After brushing his uniform off, he offers you a hand, helping you up from the ground. “Speaking of which, where is she?”

“She’s off, running around with the cousins.” As soon as you say that, the 4 kiddos came racing around the corner.

“What’s eating at you?” Tom asks, looking down at you noticing the far off look on your face again.

“The same question that’s been playing over and over again in my mind since I was about her age…” you say, pointing at your daughter.

“You’re not disposable. I promise. You’re worth more than you realize.”

“It definitely doesn’t seem that way. My grandfather used & abused my mother and treated her like scum therefore I didn’t have a grandfather. My dad thought that life was better 3 hours away and he finally had sons instead of a daughter, so I’m more or less an afterthought. “I love you both, I truly do.” You say, side hugging the both of them.

“One of us, maybe a bit more than the other.” Tom joked, placing a kiss on your cheek. Ron scoffed, playfully.

“I can’t believe you’d question my love for her. I’d protect her like she was my own-” Tom, living up to his callsign, shot Ron an icy glare. Ron, living up to his, tipped his hat and slid his way out of the conversation.

“Is this your way of asking me out, Kazansky?” You ask, playfully, but blushing at the same time.

“Not the time or place, darling. But, if you’d be up for it, maybe I’ll officially ask when we’re out of here.”

“While I enjoy the thought, there’s a little someone you might need to get permission from first.”

“TOM!” you hear your little girl yell at the top of her lungs, just now realizing he was here. She ran over and practically jumped into his arms.

“Hey kiddo! You probably didn’t recognize me in full uniform, did ya?” he asks as she grabs his hat and places it on her head.

“C’mon, let’s get out of here.” You say, as he readjusts your daughter to sit better on his hip and using his other arm to wrap it around your waist.

“Mom, I’m starving.” Your 5 year old says.

“Since it’s a long drive home, yes, we can stop and get food.”

“Sounds like you’re taking me up on that offer.” Tom whispers in your ear.

“Zip it, Kazansky.” You say playfully, placing a kiss on his cheek.

“GET A ROOM!” You hear Slider yell across the parking lot. Whipping your head around to say something, you look back and see that Maverick & Goose have already taken care of it for you, simultaneously smacking him in the stomach.

You didn’t know what the future held, which terrified you. But in the present? You had your daughter, you had Ice, you had your friends, and that’s all that mattered.

This little community. I know I err on the side of lurking because I'm high-key scared of saying the wrong thing, but I keep a little notebook full of small kindnesses I see like "Oh, ____ answered this anon so gently, sitting in their car before going to dinner with their friends. ____ went to the beach and ____ asked to see pictures of the seashells, ____ went to cheer on their friends at a competition today even though they posted yesterday about being burnt out and stressed with deadlines". and just...live in the connections you guys share with each other

My job. It's stressful and I've seen things that make my skin crawl and being in a small room with 20 two year olds for 10 hours a day is some people's idea of hell, but. I really like it

My friends. Just a shockingly good bunch of people who are exceptionally indulgent of a person who brings very little to the table xD

Just really the kindness of people? The people in my life but also strangers? I love watching people be fond, it doesn't have to be directed at me, honestly it's even better when it isn't, when you just see two people being soft in a random interaction, isn't that what it's all about? When a stranger's phone falls out of their pocket crossing the tram lines, but they miss it in the noise of the city and the lady next to you calls out to them in her mom-voice and they turn, oh my god I'm almost crying just remembering it

In an attempt to salvage my emotional state I'll end with my brother whom I adore, here is a pic of him ruining a photo I was trying to take by sticking a spoon in front of the plate and simultaneously flipping me off in the reflection, which is honestly impressive

ooo you caught me at the right time because i just sat down with quite a bit of time to kill (also I hope you feel better soon <3)

when i say rey picked me i fucking mean it

it’s a lengthy so i’m gonna put it under the cut and kitten pics (first pics i took of the three of them)

our story begins all the way back in 2015:

over the summer i’d had to say good bye to one of my two remaining childhood cats, pongo, after ~17 years. my mom still had the last, catscan, but in september i would be leaving for a new job in a new state and she wouldn’t be able to come with me

there was a few months of training for this new job that meant i was in a situation where i couldn’t have pets yet but by mid december i was in my new apartment and DESPERATELY needed felines back in my life (legit this is the longest i’d ever lived without a cat in my home)

so finally, sorta settled between xmas and new years, i began my search for some kittens

i pretty quickly found the closest humane society to me and started scrolling their cats and there was a GORGEOUS long-haired tortie/calico kitten with a tragic backstory to boot

within a day or two i drove over to try and meet the kitten and see if any others seemed bonded to it because i knew i wanted two so they’d have company while i was at work

so i get there and do some intro stuff with the staff and run through the five cats i’d grown up with (and the bonus cats that crossed my life in various ways) clearly proving i wasn’t terrible and was absolutely qualified for adoption. the next step was meeting all the cats they had

(a brief note about the layout of this place: it’s located in an old house that’s been remodeled to serve this purpose so there are a handful of rooms set up for different groups of cats and each room has a door that’s almost fully a window so they can keep an eye out easier)

so we go into the first room that has the very little kittens and obviously they’re all adorable but they’re only just big enough to technically be ready to go to a new home so none of them jumped out at me

the second room, as it turned out, would be the game changer

in the second room only had two cats in it. lucy and leon (who i remembered had a terribly unflattering photo on the website) were nearly six months old and were very obviously related and likely part of why they were separated from the others

the room had a cat tree in one corner but also had a wall mounted about waist height on three of the walls for them to get to the window. there was a single folding chair placed to the side of the room

so we approach the second room and the employee showing me around tells me she has to take care of something and that i should just wait in the room until she’s done (majorly sus but i think she could tell rey was about to pick me). both kittens are standing in the door window watching me come over

so i scooch into the room and go to sit in the chair and before i’m even fully seated the girl cat is already jumping in my lap to curl up and start purring. the boy, clearly more skittish than his sister, gets up on the wall to sniff at me from a safer distance but eventually stretches out to get a paw on my shoulder to really get some sniffs in

i only sat there for maybe five minutes but my original plan was wobbling majorly

the staffer comes to get me eventually and we continue through the rest of the rooms. the fourth room had the gorgeous kitten and some other unrelated cats. and it was too nervous to really let me pet her. the others didn’t seem too interested in our presence either so no second cat from the room seemed like the one either

we moved on, headed downstairs to the new new kittens who weren’t ready for adoption and the seniors who i wish i could’ve considered more seriously (my pain from the summer was still a little too fresh and i knew catscan was only going to be around so much longer)

as we head upstairs to finish up some paperwork we talk through the next steps. they like my vibes but still need to call my references to do their do diligence. when we walk by, lucy and leon are back in their door window watching

i leave for the day, text my friend to warn her she’d be getting a call, and head to target to pick up some stuff. within an hour, barely into my target run, i get the call that i’m approved to adopt, and do i have any front runners for who i wanted to take home

there was no question about it: it had to be lucy and leon

rather unfortunately, the timing of it all meant i couldn’t actually pick them up until january 2nd (only four days later but a long four days of impatience) but then, just like that, i had two precious little kittens in my house just in time for their sixth month birthday on the 3rd, now named rey and legolas

~cut to april 2021~

i’m sitting at work one day and my buddy texts me that his sister came home that day, during a storm, to discover four kittens in a storm drain/gutter. she’d sat around for a bit to see if a mother came back but after an hour or so couldn’t bear to leave them out alone anymore so she brought them inside

i let him know, if she needed any help with placing them after she got them checked out i could probably help (we lived near each other and both my parents had separately talked about wanting a cat again. and i was moving out of my apartment into more space and figured i could probably handle a third if it came down to it)

two-ish months later, i’ve moved lego and rey into their new house and my buddy texts me again, am i still interested in another cat

there was one of the four yet to be claimed and i said absolutely give me the little guy

my buddy puts me in touch with his sister and we sort out a time for me to come by and, within a day or two, kieran joins the clowder

This dweeb would for sure be the one to bring all the ideas to you. I could see him running up to you, practically shaking from excitement as he takes a deep breath then tells you his thoughts.

“Link and Zelda, hm? That sounds fun but Link is canonically shorter than Zelda sooo…”

If you’re shorter than him, he’s immediately like “HELL YEAH!!! ILL BE THE PRINCESS. IM GONNA WEAR A DRESS!”

If you’re taller than him, he immediately gets flirty. “Oooh~ I can’t wait to see you dressed up like a princess. You’re gonna be so freaking adorbs.”

Honestly he gives zero fucks about gender roles and stuff like that. If he wants to dress as a female character, he will. And he won’t do some gender bent version of it, he’s going full out girly girl.

But he likes dressing as male and other gendered characters too. He just likes to cosplay his fav characters and sometimes his favs are girls. 🤷🏻 whatevs

Probably messes up your hair, wig, makeup. Maybe all three. You might have to tell him to chill out cuz he’ll totally try to take you back home for some quality time together right now.

If yall are more into the ‘cosplay for a video and post it online but don’t leave the house’ thing, he’s totally fine with that too.

He wouldn’t care if no one even saw your cosplays but each other bc either way, it’s a lot of fun and he loves the quality time spent with you.

Always asks you to help with the makeup part of any cosplay. I couldn’t see him being very good with makeup so he’s gonna rely on you.

Also he sucks bc you’ll take hours to get into your cosplay, trying to perfect your look and Matt will ruin it all with his big, grabby hands and his soft, slobbery lips within minutes.

But god forbid you wreck his cosplay from being all handsy and kissy, he’ll pout about it for the rest of the day.

A Needlessly Long Ramble About Pony Poses!!!

I was talking to my bf today and i had some thoughts on poses! Specifically we were talking about the celestial ponies! Because I know some people really dislike the Tootsie pose

(Here is the pose in question- with images of the original pose and one of the celestial ponies using it. From toysisters and the amazon listing)

Personally (please no one take offense to this paragraph , just my own thoughts ^^” ) I never understood the hate for this pose, the ponies look cute! All ponies are cute to me, i really dont think there are any specific poses they could stand in that would make them Uncute or take away from their design. I think people dislike the way their head is tilted forwards and how the neck looks? (Again, I think the head tilt is cute ^^) one of the issues I saw a few people talking about with the celestial ponies in particular is that they don’t like that their heads can turn when the original pose isnt really made for that and the neck looks uneven, but to me thats not really an issue at all since you wont notice unless someone points it out or youre staring too much at the neck, and if you dislike it you can just not turn the heads lol.

But yeah, poses sure are interesting huh? there are a lot of pony poses, I really like the variety as it makes each pony feel unique (even if i end up collecting a million of the same pose lol). While I don’t dislike any poses I DEFINITELY have some that I ADORE!

(Forgive me for reposting my old photos for examples here lol) Some examples of my faves are:

the Posey Pose (So pretty! The legs are like shes gracefully walking)

The Bowtie Pose (I love the head tilt so much, makes them so pretty)

I love how chunky in my hands the Gingerbread Pose is

i fucking WISH i had any of the sitting pose ponies (image from mlpmerchdatabase) It was cool to have sitting ponies (probably the most unique pose in all of g1, especially since there were only ever 2 ponies in this pose)

THE UNICORN AND PEGASUS POSES FOR THE BABY BEDDY BYE EYE PONIES ARE SO FUCKING CUTE especially the unicorn one which is my ultimate fave bbe pose (i will defend bbe until i DIE) The shy little way their heads are positioned make the unicorns adorable, and the pegasus pose is also really cute

Surprise pose! (pulls out pre restoration photo because i dont have any good ones of her clean showing off the pose, her hair is always in the way lol). Her head is tilted at such an interesting angle compared to other mlp poses, her whole body leans into that tilt but she doesnt have any balancing issues or nothing!

I adore all the newborn poses but i LOVE the ones where theyre just STANDING THERE (like my noodles or doodles) And i also fucking adore the newborn dibbles pose holy shit. they are so little they just stand their with their heads down like little creechures (dibbles and nibbles pic from toysisters)

Anyways long rant aside: I feel like every pose can be really uniquely cute and give each pony a lot of personality >w< Do you guys have any favorites? Any poses you hate? Feel free to add on even if its in disagreement lol
