I just read the recent IDW issue and I have thoughts I feel like voicing about it... And I especially have some choice words about how Lanolin treated the situation at the end of the issue which I talk more specifically about at the bottom...

So beware spoilers for the IDW Sonic comic below!

I'M SO MAD FOR SILVER!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE THE NEW DIAMOND CUTTERS JUST SCREWED HIM OVER LIKE THAT!!!!! IT WAS SO UNFAIR HOW THEY KICKED HIM OFF THE TEAM BECAUSE OF WHAT WHISPER CONVINVED HIM TO DO!!! AND LANOLIN ENCOURAGED IT!!

Ignoring the fact that we know Duo is really Mimic since they don't and this about their perspective of events... If anyone, Whisper is the one who should be taking the heat for Silver's mess up! She was the one who was convinced it was Mimic and then subsequently convinced Silver it was Mimic and to help her! And then, despite everyone knowing it was Whisper's idea, they (mostly Lanolin but I'm not letting Jewel completely off the hook either since she went along with Lanolin's bs) blamed Silver even though it never would've happened in the first place if Whisper hadn't been so insistent Duo was Mimic! Plus there's the fact that ONLY Silver got in trouble despite Whisper also being in on it AND attacking Lanolin!!! AND THEY ALL ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SHE WAS IN ON IT!!!!

Hell, even Whisper herself admits that she was the one guided him on that on path! When they were deciding wether or not to kick him off the team she literally says, and I quote, "...Go, Silver. I don't want to misguide you again."

Then there's Jewel... When she asks Silver for clarification on what happened she says "Let me be sure that I understand the situation. You and Whisper thought that he was Mimic? And you... attacked him?" Like she literally admits it was both of them conspiring together but ONLY Silver gets in trouble?!?

And back to the whole voting him off thing, Lanolin says to him "Until you can act more responsibly, I think it would be best for you to stay away from the Diamond Cutters. That's my vote." She just says "you" as if Whisper wasn't involved! And while I already said this, it just makes it worse and more blatantly unfair that Whisper literally attacked Lanolin by side sweeping her but no no, Silver is the only one not acting responsibly! Not Whisper who started the manhunt in the first place, attacked Lanolin, and encouraged Silver to attack Duo.

Like, god, I get that Whisper was part of their OG team and they probably didn't want to kick her off because of that and the fact they know about her tragic backstory (but then Lanolin also proceeded to be really insensitive toward Whisper like she didn't know or didn't care), but you're just going to completely let her off the hook while immediately voting Silver off the team?!

I don't think I like Lanolin now. That was a real dick move! And I also don't like that she took advantage of a high stress situation and pressured Tangle into going along with it... >:/

I could go on about it but I think it's best I stop here before this gets too long, unless somebody wants me to explain what I meant by her taking advantage of high stress situation or just continue my spiel (but more in depth) in general. Which tbh I might just talk about it anyways because it really pissed me off.

how the fuck has IC had an official disability code in the US since 2007 but i've never been able to get help or accommodations for it on the basis that it doesn't count as a disability. i have a life long bladder condition that is medically known to have a quality of life "on that with end stage kidney failure" and i've been diagnosed since i was fourteen fucking years old and all anyone's ever told me is "sorry that doesn't count"
