"Well," Hunter replied calmly, "I guess I won't follow it either."
Then, he waited.
A lightning flashed on the other side of the open platform door. Hunter was staring at the opposite end of the hangar. Although Crosshair was only a few meters away, neither of them could get any further away. Hunter fought side by side with Crosshair in countless battles. They almost died together fighting to protect the galaxy from the evils that threatened to destroy it. Despite what they had experienced together, everything came down to that moment, that decision.
And Crosshair wasn't going to back down.
A deep sadness came over Hunter when he realized that Crosshair had changed in the most essential way. A member of his family, a pillar in his life was collapsing. And he didn't know if he could ever get it back.
This book gives a deep insight into Hunter's state of mind and emotions. Also, you can actually understand his heightened senses better. I love it 😭💖

It's been years and I will always get enraged when I rewatch criminal minds and see Maeve die. That was the most unnecessary plot. WHY DID SHE HAVE TO DIE. WHY IN FRONT OF SPENCE. WHY TO MAKE REID FEEL LIKE A FAILURE ONCE AGAIN. WHY MAKE OUR GOLDEN BOY FIND SOMEONE TO HIS LEVEL TO JUST LOSE HER BEFORE THEY GOT THEIR REAL CHANCE. WHY!!!!
My son needed his social security card for a new summer job, so I went into my safe to find it. As fate would have it, while looking for that I found a few handwritten letters from my father to me that I kept. I would not have seen these before the funeral otherwise.
Dad wasn't much for saying emotional things out loud (much like me) so he would give his children handwritten notes instead. Here is what he wrote to me on November 13, 2004 (in part):
". . . I realized it was time to write to you and tell you what a great son you are. Among our four progeny, you stand out. Not only because of your material successes but who you are. We admire your values such as your commitment to your wife and children as well as your concern for us in our old age."
Thanks Dad, I will do my best to carry on your legacy and continue to make you proud.
Op I would like you to know your writing is Absolutely good enough for people to pay for, fanfic or not you write well and should pursue the idea if it interests you enough
