General PSA to all of you [long thank you post]

I cannot express how thankful I am to everyone of you.

Yes, I do see them but not all the time because I get overwhelmed and anxious easily and also because I dont know how Tumblr ethics work. Can I just thank all of you individually? Send it through DMs? The comments? Answer ever reblog? I am not sure im not good with socializing even online 🤷🏻

But before the year ends, let me just say this:

Earlier this year I started to slowly dissolve myself out of the art scene, especially the comic/webcomic scene (I love comics!) My editor did a toll on me emotionally and mentally and I wasn't doing well already beforehand and I had to terminate the contract and just put a stop on the project. And then I thought maybe comics was just not for me.

But seeing every one of your encouraging words made me feel so much better and how everyone is so supportive of my little comics ( of course, thabk you so much to Larian and Jen for Shadowheart) but mostly to everyone especially the Sharty Party server who was very supportive and very affirming.

Of course all of your little tags and comments make me so happy but these are the most PG i can post (i dont wanna be flagged again 😆)

So truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you everyone for helping me live a little less anxious daily. No joke, My acid levels are rising and y'alls help lower it 😆

Hello. I've recently stumbled on your blog and found out you were the author of two really cool fan fictions I read for Super Paper Mario a while back on AO3- Just wanted to say you're a really good writer and you're probably one of the few SPM fic authors to write a fic over a 100,000 words- It's some impressive stuff- (I know there are a few "trilogy" fics back on FanFiction.net that amount to around that much when read all together, but I've not come across any individual works as long as yours-)

Do you have any other projects you're working on at the moment? Also, this may sound like an odd question, but...Do you happen to know any good SPM fics to read? I've reread the same ones from nearly over a decade ago- (There aren't that many on Fanfiction.net, I've probably reread nearly every single one there multiple times over the years- Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love a lot of the fics on there, even if a lot of them are silly and OOC-)

I tried looking on AO3 but I haven't found much interesting stuff on there- A lot of the fics seem to be the annoying multifandom type, crack fics or really...small uninteresting fics- (Most of the fics I stumble on write the villains very OOC-) Thank you and sorry-

I do have other projects! Thank you sm for asking about that too- Memory 0 on ao3 is another spm fanfic of mine I haven’t finished yet. I also have another spm fanfic called “I Hate You, Please Have a Seat” that is still in the drafts. I also have that shitpost AJL sequel- the ulcer fanfic. I also have a complete rewrite of AJL that I dabble in every now and then, but I’m not taking it too seriously. I also am working on my fourth novel! I’ll be talking about that one more often once it nears completion. I also have an RPG game titled Incisors that I work on every now and then for fun. I also just recently am getting into submitting short stories of mine and whatnot (but admittedly, I’ve only submitted one so far). Sorry for the ramble- I just love writing LMAO

one thing that i haven't stopped thinking about since i saw s2ep2 is that nandor forgetting his native language hasn't come up again. i think that’s strange bcos at the core of this show is rly . like. home and family. and language can be such a huge part of that, and it’s already in the show. some of the scenes that affected me the most were from the s2 finale when guillermo is back at his mom's apartment. this is the first real glimpse we get of guillermo as he might have been pre-panera bread, and he's at home in the bronx telling his mother 'no mama it's okay yeah the documentary people arent hungry yes im sure yes mama really sure' and it's such a personal moment imo and maybe im just getting emo about it bcos it reminds me of my family but. im still right. guillermo likely learned spanish and english simultaneously but spanish is still probably more his first language bcos it's how he communicates with his family. so much of preserving culture is language. and. hmm. in my experience, there's something very difficult about being the child of an immigrant and knowing that whatever direct ties you have to your culture and heritage might be all that you'll ever get. and those connections are sometimes small and useless, but not to you. bcos what else do you have? when i was in kindergarten i stopped speaking spanish because, well, none of my classmates were doing it. i still feel like grieving about it sometimes. even though im practically fluent again.

and so i think of nandor who's so old that even if he remembered al quolanudarese he would have no one to speak it to. it’s a sick reminder. he's like another relic in his crypt, proof of somewhere that doesn't exist anymore. but he exists. whatever he remembers is probably small and useless. but it’s all he has.

so it fucks me up that nandor’s arc has been about loss and loneliness and this utter fucking sense of purposelessness he has. bcos i think so MUCH of that has to do with heritage and family and memories. i think about how ‘jahan’ essentially means ‘my universe’ in farsi, but how present day nandor mispronounces his name as john. and it’s not because he’s lost any fondness for his old horse. i think if anything the memory of feeling love would persist the memory of a name. ghost nandor was the human version of him, and so his last act as a man was to find his beloved horse. but, you know, everything loses it’s meaning when you live for eternity. but it's. sigh. it does matter. nandor's past matters to him i know it i know it does. but if he acknowledges its significance in his life, he'll have to learn exactly how much he's forgotten. it's like playing a sport when you're young and coming back to it years after quitting, and suddenly realizing that your body isn't trained to do these things anymore. like maybe your endurance used to be the last thing on your mind but now you cant play for 5 minutes before you're out of breath-- and you feel almost ashamed. like this language was just a part of you, it was something you could take for granted, english was just something you had to learn. and so years later you default to somewhere in your brain, to maybe the one thing you thought you had kept for over 700 years, and expect a sentence and- and you only remember good morning.

and so i just wonder if it’ll ever come up again. bcos i cant imagine nandor not being upset about that

It's very draining to expect, nd met with silence, by any angle of life.

I want to always bring pleasure

But idk, I continue to be too tired that I don't feel anything..

Last month I wanted to take a full month break and just chill. "They" did payed for the expensive Internet service for once but still I had to open commissions to hopefully and eventually did to pay for groceries, and/or to treat my equally depressed siblings with burgers we first time got. They were awful c':

This month too, refused to pay it, nd me running their bank accounts for them I know that they didn't have much so I payed it yesterday. . their excuse this time? they payed the rent for the empty house next door.. yeah. The house that they rented so no one with 11 kids can live by us. Now I have to gather up for the next one soon. Nd idk.. i feel I can't put out anymore creatively while I'm just on a stressed race to do commissions and still make time to do my own work nd catch up. Like, one colored character with background alone takes me a week to finish. And I try to do my best to be fast by skip living, basically. And by the time I finish, the month was gone nd I didn't get to use the Internet for anything. So I can't see the point of paying it beside making my sibs happy.. (Also I couldn't fix my phone and the lack of notifications enforced that I'm more disconnected tbh)

I wish to be able to save the fruit of my labour for myself without feeling guilty, nd not dish it all out on one thing for an entire family of 8 ppl. Like, yeah what i gather in a month is basically nothing. So they be pressuring me to do something about it and suggest to make my art more lovable nd get more followers nd views and whatever???? While me been trying for years before hand all in secret without mentioning them keep stopping me from talking to ppl online.. nd now I see the numbers on my accounts keeps reflecting that I am indeed failing, nd nothing is working nd I'm just horrible... I don't want to tell people to do what they won't, thats why I took off that 'support me' banner, to like and reblog or follow and whatever.. I feel its only natural to do these things if u like something, or it's just my expectations again that I shouldn't be having

Remember me getting new perfume? To me, it was heaven by smell each time I spray tbh. Yeah they hate it, too. They kept rasing hek on me for using it. On the plus side, every time I came they shoo me off cuz it was suffocating them, so the arguments lessened drastically with this innocent reasoning; they can't talk to me while I'm wearing perfume, and not cuz I don't want to hear it. So naturally i wore it all the time.. sacrificing the only "love" gesture i can give and sometimes receive from them; that morning "awkward hug".. I'm more emptier than ever, tbh..

Anyway..

I'm drawing my bois now, feeling splinded peace.. the euphoria of drawing them again never hit more true.. I mean my characters (a.k.a art) are the embodiment of my aliveness. Just seeing their faces take final form fills me with happiness.. happiness that can make me forget and feel. They r not just drawings, they accompanied my life, ya know. And it's funny to me that when I made them, they were older than me, now I'm older than them. I smile remembering how I used to seeing them surround me at school, how they made diverse remarks on subjects, people and things. Or when I'm upset, act upon or say the things I can't and/or never would. Never directly to me, just.. projected from me but not necessary for me. How they only exist in the limits of my imagination, nd how I am –too– only ever been at the limits of 4 walls, we can't exist without each other. A form of expression that isn't related to me that im so grateful to have.. even if art frustrated me for 80% of the time of making, but when it works, it is an enternal regenerative source of everything one can wish of inspiration, motivation and more.. it is why i do it and wish to do more of.. god just give me those intensive feels

without it I'm probably just an expressionless statue.. I'm trying to practice nd change my zombie voice these days, actually hehe

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

I think every one of my stories are inspired from things I’ve seen, experienced or just appeared on my head after a certain thing happens to me. But most of the time is inspired by the emotion of the moment or certain line that I picture one character saying or even the same situation or problem solved in a character’s way.

C: What character do you identify with most?

I would say Miroku XD Miroku’s pervy lines and his way to twist a situation comes too natural to me. I like the way he thinks and how he is shallow and incisively asertiveat the same time. The way he tries to change things or the light he brings into the situation when he is serious is something I like to write. Besides he is the one that knows how to push Inuyasha’s buttons with one single words and that is just great. Writing his lines and scenes is really fast for me.

E: If you wrote a sequel to [Routine], what would it be about?

I am not sure but there are a few ideas there.Maybe writing about how disastrous their first real date was because they forced themself into having a ‘first date’ and they are way past those things. And after getting into a fight because they both go exasperated at the other they are walling to Kagome’s home when she stops pouting and hooks her arm on his and snuggles against him with a smile on her face. He just asks grumpily ‘what?’ And Kagome tells him 'what if instead of having “Dates” we go out as we always do’. Inuyasha stops walking thinking she is breaking up with him after the horrible date. She sees his sad puppy face and smiles as she finishes with 'except I get to kiss you whenever I want’. And they slowly get the hang of dating for real. XD

I would also love to write about them as a new couple whose friends think they are only friends… because they repeated that nonstop for six months. And got mad every time someone even implied something else. I’m thinking about them going back to one of Mirsan’s parties and then somehow, they got separated into two different teams, Inuyasha with some male wolf youkai that keeps telling Inuyasha how much Kouga likes Kagome and Inuyasha is holding back because she said something about how she hated jealous boyfriends, and he took it literally. And Kagome is teamed with Hojo and his incessant flirting. Kagome starts feeling neglected when her boyfriend doesn’t even flinch when Hojo invites her to a date,  and before she even accept he is planning what they will do that day and Inuyasha is holding back but Kagome thinks he doesn’t care and that gets into a contest to know what actually gets Inuyasha jealous. And the night ends with a super pissed hanyou screaming at the human to stop touching his Kagome and storming out of there with a giggling Kagome… that brings another kind of fight… the fighting-as-foreplay kind of fight.

O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?

I only write Inukag so the characters are pretty much already built. I usually start with either a trait, a situation or with the ending XD and then I go back and forth. If I have this AU where Inuyasha is close to his canon personality, I need to build a background that fits. Because I’m very picky with emotional unavailable Inuyasha that had a perfect life but is still traumatized by things that never happened ¬¬ I think about the background before I start moving with the story, some times too much XD

Q: Do you have any discarded scenes/storylines/projects?

Stories that I thought about it but forgot before I could write it down, count? because I have three like that every day XDI usually discard the stories that will make me suffer if I write it. (like the depressed Kagome I mentioned in the other ask.

I have this other sad story where Inukag are coworkers that find each other’s company to be the highlight of their day, but they already have SOs and “happy” life.  And they try to keep their relationship platonic the longest time possible. But the pull is strong. they try to stay away from each other, but their bosses don’t allow it because they are one of the best work teams. But the way they are together only open their eyes about how hollow and unfulfilling their own relationship with their partners is. But breaking their SO’s heart because they like someone else’s company? that is hard, and they don’t want to cheat. Don’t want to do that kind of thing. But they reach a point when they can’t pretend they are happy.  And dealing with the aftermath of their relationship and come to terms with WHY they are ending their marriages is tough… And it has so much conflict, grey areas that I don’t want to touch because I absolutely loathe Cheating fics that I just stay away from it… They would need to end their relationship and find closure before starting something real. And the whole process of having them so close to each other but even if they have moments of utter happiness they suffer because that happiness is not with the person they chose to be with long ago. That is just too much for me. 

I keep this one in my head,  untouched and eventually forgotten. 

Sorry to bring up something like that but I don’t discard stories often, I write the plot points and setting into a blank document and save it in my “undeveloped” ideas folder… and it never stops growing…

I can drive on my US license for up to 12 months, during that 12 months I can get a UK prov. license. take the driving lessons and do the theory/test to get my full UK license. while shopping around last night I noticed a website saying 'provisional insurance is cheap, but expect it to go up once you pass your test.' Now, I understand the reason why it's cheaper is due to the fact that you probably wouldn't be driving as much, and you need a 'known' driver with you in the car while you're driving. However, couldn't I be considered my own driver? If I have a provisional license would I not be eligable for provisional license insurance? is this legal? or am I just being a hopeful idiot?""

HELP! Insurance company trying to low ball estimate?

Back in April I was driving and a lady tried switching lanes and struck my vehicle. I immediately went to an auto body shop and got an estimate for the damage, they took photos and everything. I've been contacting her insurance and dealing with this for over two months... I had to send them the police report because the woman tried lying and said I hit her, so I had to prove she was at fault. They would never return my calls. Until I talked to the field adjuster. He then called me yesterday told me he got the estimate from the body shop which was one of their recommended shops, and was mailing me the check for the damage. However he failed to tell me the check he was sending was for $1000 less than the estimate. I don't agree with this, what do I do? I called and no one will call me back from the company Also, I own my car outright. It's a 2004 tiburon is excellent condition. The insurance company was giving me issues about me wanting the check sent to me.
