did i make the terrible life decision to stay up way too late knowing full-well i have to lead two storytime sessions at work later today? yes, yes i did. obviously i will regret this as i'm trying not to yawn through the stories and songs i have half picked out -- or i'll just use this as an excuse to have coffee for lunch today (and maybe beg off work 30 minutes early because i did actually use personal time for prep time because they're refusing to give me work-from-home time until the 60 hours we're hiring are... well, hired. which means i'm still getting a massive amount of desk time, which means lots of interruptions and distractions when i'm trying to do any off-desk work that needs to get done.

honestly, they're lucky i was able to pull together a monthly report (despite the fact that i've only been in this position for half a month) and only post it a couple days late. let's not talk about the half dozen other things i need to get done still, and haven't even started.

my second pass at a sonadow fankid. this time, it's a little more serious than the looney tune that is dawn lol.

this is 3. he was created by tails in an effort to develop the "ultimate defense system."

basically, tails was thinking back on how, during the forces war, eggman was able to conquer the world when sonic and shadow weren't around. and, well, he got a little worked up remembering that! he got mad! yeah--real mad!

so, tails did what all great minds do when they get mad, and he conducted some... let's say... unethical science experiments.

Honestly the fact that they fit three distinct combats on top of plenty of character and story progression into the episode before 11pm was a really strong argument out of the gate for Daggerheart as a system for streaming. That was super neat, not gonna lie.
