Seen in the wild: Sony Mavica MVC-FD83, 1999. A digital camera that uses a 3½” floppy disk as storage, and despite the word “megapixel” being on the front it falls short of an actual megapixel (0.8mpx -- 1024x768 resolution). A fairly sophisticated camera that I was half-tempted to buy just to do the digital equivalent of how people give new life to vintage film cameras, but this model uses a Li-ion battery and its own charger so I left it alone.

Entry 1:
~Intended to be kept as a keepsake and for practice~
I just recently graduated as an MFA Photography Student at Ulster University, now that I'm free to practice whichever way I want, I want to resume practicing street photography and macro. I bought this camera both as a y2k trend keepsake but also for fun practice as I do not have any DSLRs on hand anymore atm. Personally, I enjoy finding 'old' or nostalgic items I've never used before to see how far I can push my style preference on more limited cameras.
And due to the y2k trend, this seemed the perfect way to experiment. I was too little most of the time to own a compact camera and didn't see the point in owning one since we always have our cells on hand, but I've been feeling nostalgic this past year for tech I never got to try in the past and wanted to push myself outside my comfort zone for a piece of equipment that's easy to have on hand at all times or at a moment's notice without looking too obvious. My camera doesn't technically count as early y2k tech but it's vintage to me lol. And I wanted to recreate a similar vibe for me.
I'm honestly surprised I managed to find one at such a decent price (£43 ebay) at the peak of this trend. And for a solid colour camera no less. It came near mint-condition, with all of its battery chargers and a newish battery. I'm new to this but I still happened to notice that in the West, compact cameras typically come in standard black, silver, and reds. I'm in the U.K. atm, so perhaps that's why it was easier to come across a solid purple one. WAY prettier colours are available in Japan 😭. I want to keep collecting unique colour models but it's such a pain to find sellers who sell the camera with all of its battery equipment.
Out For A Test!
These are all shot in Belfast city centre.

Macro Mode Test
I need to try again once I get a better hang of this camera and when I'm not blocking people traffic: nothing beats a proper macro lens but even still, this'll easily do in a pinch. Shame the camera doesn't shoot RAW :(
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Videos that inspired me to go collect y2k tech, it's also worth noting that the trend is also noted for taking off possibly due to film getting very expensive to buy for both hobbyists and professionals and some photographers are trying to collect digicams that create unique looks similar to that of film so keep that in mind when researching:

Kodak Brownie Flash II
Tumblr media
I promised you the results of shooting with the Kodak Brownie...so, being good to my word, here goes!
Background
I bought this camera in a shop in Helmsley, North Yorkshire a few years ago...more as a curio than something I was going to use...and it has sat in my camera display cabinet since then.
Every so often, I would get it out and try and work out how I could use it; ranging from buying 620 film to putting a digital camera inside (maybe using one of the Raspberry Pi computers I have hanging around).
Eventually, I decided to get some 3d printed adapters for 35mm film and try that out.
How Do I?
So having got the 35mm to 620 adapters, it was a question of how do I shoot with the camera.
Instead of putting a few long paragraphs of description, I'll summarise for your sanity: -
I worked out that it took six half turns of the film advance knob to get onto the next frame.
I needed to tape the film leader to the 620 film take-on spool, otherwise it wouldn't wind the film on successfully (most of the time the film leader slipped off the spool).
I needed 100 ISO film to match the sort of film speed this camera was initially intended to shoot with.
The shutter speed is around 1/50th second with a fixed F11-ish aperture.
Recommended shooting time is between an hour after sun-up and an hour before sun-down.
Bright scenes are best.
Issues
Summarising: -
Framing is almost impossible...it is a guessing game!
Winding the 35mm film on is a disconcerting experience. The feedback from the camera is, quite frankly, rubbish.
Knowing when the film is finished is tough...a few times, I thought I had exposed the film to the end of roll but could sort of wind it on more.
I was worried about snapping the film out of the canister when I got near the end of the 36 exposure roll.
You need to open the camera to release the film winding mechanism and rewind the film into the canister. The winder doesn't go 'backwards'.
Sitting on a hot summer's day in the shade on a wall, with your hands under a coat and inside a bag...quite frankly draws attention! It looks weird and gets you looks (I had someone approach me and ask if I was alright!).
You will get fingermarks and light leaks onto the film as you rewind if you don't use a light-proof film bag.
Results
Tumblr media
This image is straight out of the camera...apart from scanning and inverting the scan.
So...points to note:
Framing is an issue!
You get around eight panoramic frames to a 36 exposure 35mm film.
The winding of the film introduces movement and the film can become skewed a little, so it is almost impossible to keep the horizon straight!
The light leak on this frame is not from the camera, but from my improvised under-the-coat unloading process.
With this effectively being a fixed exposure 'point and shoot', the image is slightly overexposed - it was a very bright day.
Sharpness for this approximately 65 year-old, fixed focus camera is surprisingly good.
The scan for this frame is around 20,000x6000 pixels. That's a 120 megapixel image.
Colour rendition from the lens is...well...interesting.
Conclusions
Would I shoot with this camera again? The short answer is yes...but taking into account the issues above, I would ensure I tried to mitigate the errors I made.
The downside is framing and I am unsure how that could be improved rather than be just a best guess.
If you have any questions, please get in touch!

The Opening Salvo, Cheap Glass For NIKKORheads! headache-induced rambling.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step – Chinese proverb.
Nikon is probably one of the cheapest Camera brands to get into these days. That's mainly due to the fact that the F mount contains some of the most illogically cheap glass ever seen on a system to date! But there really hasn't been anyone trying to make a modern day, comprehensive list of all of the little buggers that exist. This is frankly due to the ever growing fact that there is too many lenses for one person to trouble themselves with because there can only be so many styles, focal lengths and F-stops one can touch on before they themselves become absolutely stone-mad and try to eat the canvas bag that holds your camera. There are people that review them as they come along and itemize them and props to those who can put up with that kind of cheap bullshit. But I’ll not bring Ken Rockwell into this whole charade if I don't have to.
Tumblr media
Black-eyed Susans - Nikon D3, Nikkor AF-D 80-200mm F2.8 one touch, ISO 400, F3.2, 1/400 second
With the Glass Problem I have, it seems that i have no real basis to try and hunt for the Good pieces of shiny Circular Goodness on my own. Ken Rockwell can help as a sort of basic bitch barometer but his Certified Hot Takes and Oversaturated images can only carry me so far. The best thing I can do then, Really. Is get grounded and try to cope with what I can get to and throw out the rest as cheap bullshit for the hounds to go after. 1987 and beyond Glass that can actually be worth a Damn. But the method of finding the diamonds in the rough can roughly be equated to going Landmine-Hunting with a sledgehammer.
Tumblr media
Forest Corridor. Nikon D3, AF-D Nikkor 18-35mm F3.5-4.5 ED, F9, 35mm, 1/500sec, ISO 640
With all of this and the above rambling, it feels like the best idea to me is to get some grounding on the opening of this Shameful Diary is to itemize the pros and cons of the glass I already have as I step up to get their newer counterparts alongside picking up some of the old, manual AI and AI converted numbers. Why not? It makes perfect sense to me. “Catalog what you know, pick up on what you don't” Maybe Ill Improve in this hobby for once in my life. But the immediate problem that I ran into with that angle is twofold. One; my collection of glass can best be described as “Eclectic” And two, if I really want to wring the potential Max Performance out of these shiny glass cylinders my brain is screaming at me that I should get a camera with a higher megapixel sensor inside of it. This idea gets constantly brought up by the council of mad gerbils that tens to run my inner thoughts, but is immediately shot down by the idea that the camera we would “like to step up to” the D850, does not supersede bills. So its immediately thrown out until I can cope with buying its just-as-capable cousin, the D800.
Tumblr media
Dog! Nikon F4S. Ektachrome E100 Before I veer off into any tangents or this manic wave passes over me and ill be left in a catatonic slump. Ill itemize a few of the repeat Photon-Wranglers that will show up here and mention some of the glass I hope to gather and show off. In the vein hopes of becoming a niche internet micro-celebrity on a dead website that had strange porn on it coming out through the eyeballs. This is what I get for not bothering to make a proper website. But once again, things like that cost money, which i don't tend to have a lot of for long periods of time. mainly all of it is spent on fanciful trips or restocks on film, not to mention development of the buggers. But anyway!
Repeat appearances will include the; Nikon D3 Nikon F4S Nikon D800/D850 (When purchase of either is applicable) Nikon F FTN Eventual Glass Purchases;
AFS Nikkor 24-120mm F4 G type AFS Nikkor 50mm F1.8 G type AF-D Nikkor 24mm F2.8 AF-D Nikkor 35mm F2 AF-D Nikkor 300mm F2.8 ED
AFS Nikkor 200-500mm F5.6 ED VR E type Vogitlander Nokton 58mm F1.4 SL-2 S AFS Nikkor 300mm F4 D type AFS nikkor 28-300mm F3.5-5.6 G type Among others.
But as I Shuffle through the Glass I have in an effort to either Sell or keep them Maybe some special moment will arrive that will make me think that all of this spent money on glass, film development, digital bodies and endless hours working out how the fuck a modern flashgun works or how to edit my RAW files like i know what im doing will be all worthwhile. Or it will make me want to travel back in time and throttle whoever designed the AF-D 80-200mm F2.8 one touch to have its’ focal length be changed by jerking off the main section of the barrel.

Oded Ezer 3 Day Workshop
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idea 1: CCD Nostalgia
Y2K Picture Aesthetic + Photography = Project
Over the past 10 years or so, there has been a longing in certain parts of the photography community to use film as their primary medium again. The aesthetic that it brings is hard to match digitally, and the experience of shooting is very different to shooting on a DLSR or mirrorless. But with film prices rising, and the generation that grew up with film getting older and losing their cultural relevance, a new alternative has appeared; digicams. These small, low megapixel digital cameras were the definitive look of the late 90s and early to mid 2000s, in a time before phone cameras were good enough to take casual pictures on travels or with friends. As a result, everyone used to carry around digicams to document their experiences, and sites like Flickr are flooded with thousands of photos taken with these cameras. They have come back into popularity not just because of nostalgia, but also because of the sensors that they used. Cameras nowadays use CMOS sensors, which can achieve much higher megapixel counts, but older cameras used CCD sensors, which meant much lower megapixel counts but a more realistic colour palette. The way they rendered colour has a very filmic look to it, and as a result they have grown in popularity in the film photography community and have even spawned their own community. In a time where a single 36 exposure roll of film costs nearly £20, it’s hard to justify shooting it over digital. In comparison, you can buy an old CCD sensor camera from a charity shop or off of eBay for less than £5, and even for the nicest CCDs, you’re looking at a maximum of £100-£150.
I think it would be interesting to do a photography project where I only shoot on CCDs. It would come with its own set of challenges; for example, the maximum megapixel count you’ll get on a CCD is around 10MP, which isn’t bad but limits how large you can make a print before it becomes pixelated. Also, many CCD cameras are typically around 2-6MP, so finding one with more megapixels is hard and expensive. As for subject matter, I feel it could be interesting to make something like a photo diary, documenting what I see throughout a day or something like that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idea 2: Painterly Photos
Historical Paintings + Photography = Project
The general idea would be to take pictures in the style of historically significant painters/art-styles.
I’ve done things like this before on a small scale, as shown below, but I’ve never really done a deep dive into it.
It would be interesting to look at certain painters and try to make an imitation of the work using just my camera and photoshop. In the examples below, I achieved the painterly look just by intentionally moving my camera during the exposure. In the last picture, I took a regular photo and then heavily edited it in photoshop to achieve the look of Japanese Ukiyo-e paintings from the 1600s.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Photographer Samantha Cave has made a career taking a similar approach. I initially got this idea by looking at her work. She mainly take influence from Claude Monet and other impressionist painters: https://www.instagram.com/samanthacavet/?hl=en
Idea 3: The History of the Rave
Raves + Photography & Editorial = Project
The term “rave” was first used in the 50s, but back then it mostly referred to the excitement and environment of the party life. These days, raving is still linked with partying heavily, but the subculture has evolved and grown significantly. The current iteration of raving started in the late 80s/early 90s with acid house and jungle music. Eventually, as technology progressed, more electronic music genres like techno and drum & bass came into existence and got tied in to the rave culture. I think it would be interesting to take a deep dive into raving, ravers, and all the strange aspects of the culture. Most importantly though, I would like to try and convey through visuals and words exactly why raving is such a fun experience. A lot of people don’t know a lot about it and view it in the exact same light as regular clubbing, which isn’t the case. There are also darker sides of raves though, and to be impartial it would be best to include those parts as well. It’s no secret that raves are rife with drug use, and that’s rather unsurprising given its origins in the 50s and 60s as a word to describe heavy partying (Keith Moon referred to himself as a raver, need I say more?). I do, however, want to make it perfectly clear that raves can be enjoyed without drugs or even alcohol. I’ve also observed that people that typically aren’t big fans of electronic genres like techno or drum & bass still tend to enjoy their experiences at raves, because it isn’t just the music but also the lights and the atmosphere that heavily play into just what makes raving such a great experience.
I guess maybe I’d make a book about it? Or maybe a video essay/short documentary film. Something along those lines.
I really like Fruits magazine, which was a Japanese fashion mag that went around mainly Harajuku documenting what people were wearing on the streets in the late 90s and early 00s. I wouldn’t want to do the exact same, but I definitely would take influence from it:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s some pics of ravers throughout the years, and links to rave fashion (bucket hats, Kandi etc):
This is Rainbow 2000 Fuji. It’s a rave that took place on top of Mt. Fuji in 1996.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bucket hats and sunglasses are very poplar at raves. The sunglasses I understand because the lights can be a bit much at times, and wearing shades helps prevent overstimulation, but I’m not too sure yet on why everyone wears bucket hats. It would be cool to research where the trend started and why.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pacifiers at raves aren’t as common as they were in the 90s. This is because people wear them after taking MDMA (ecstasy) which causes you to grind your teeth. The pacifiers are worn to prevent the teeth grinding. The use of MDMA is still rampant in raves but wearing a dummy or having one on you is basically advertising that you’ve either taken some or are going to, so most bouncers will either confiscate it or refuse you entry if you turn up with one. As a result you don’t see them much anymore.
Tumblr media
Rave Kandi is more of a festival thing, it’s just tons of handmade bracelets and necklaces. I don’t know the origins but it’s pretty prevalent at festivals like Boomtown. In your typical weekend rave though, you don’t see it as much.
Tumblr media
This is a contemporary photography project that focuses on the fashion side of nightlife; it’s not specific to raves but also live music and clubbing, but the general idea can relate to what I want to do: https://www.itsnicethat.com/articles/anna-rose-mcchensey-whats-your-favourite-outfit-to-dance-in-project-photography-050922
Idea 4: A Simulated World
“We live in a simulation” + Photography & Photo Manipulation = Project
There are many theories for our existence, from religious takes to scientific attempts to explain the unexplainable. One take is that our world is actually just a simulation created by a species beyond our understanding. In recent years this interpretation has been used more as a joke than anything (referring to random people as NPC’s, calling the sky the “skybox” etc) but some do take it quite seriously. The idea of living in a simulation is actually a fantasy for many. The development of VR technology has allowed for this on a small scale, and the popularity of series like Sword Art Online show that this concept is something that people wish for. With this, though, comes dystopian aspects. Games often have areas that are stuck behind invisible walls, where they haven’t been properly designed yet, but what if reality was also like this? What if advertisements were constantly forced into your peripheral, replacing the stars in the sky?
I think it would be interesting to do a photography project that explores what the world could look like if we were in a simulation, a world with bugs and glitches, kind of matrix-esque.
There’s an artist online by the name of nry.ae that specialises in pixel sorting. I think this technique could really lend itself to such a project: https://www.instagram.com/nry.ae/?hl=en
This article talks about a project that documents “real life glitches”, like fake villages and perfect cities that never existed in America, interesting read: https://www.itsnicethat.com/articles/orejarena-and-stein-american-glitch-photography-270622
Very cool music video that uses AI to “delete” all people and advertisements from the insanity that is Shibuya: https://www.itsnicethat.com/news/daito-manabe-squarepusher-terminal-slam-music-video-300120
It could also be really cool to make a soundtrack for such a simulation. Serial Experiments Lain is a series that has a lot of influence in this space; it along with Ghost in the Shell were the main inspirations for the Matrix. In recent years, Lain has come back into fashion, mainly thanks to the music genre of breakcore. This genre is essentially a form of drum & bass, heavily influenced by jungle, liquid and atmospheric. The general vibe is sci-fi-esque, almost as if it’s trying to soundtrack the future. The aesthetic leans heavily into SEL and GitS, and samples from them frequently. I have some experience making breakcore music so it could be interesting to try and make some to add context to this project.
I’m thinking maybe like a gallery exhibition with these photos flickering and glitching and stuff, with the music playing in the background to increase the immersive experience. Or maybe it could be a project built in VR, where you can be almost transported into these simulations, as if you’re living it yourself. Or something like that.
Or maybe it could like an ARG or something, like a short video series based in a fiction version of reality where everything is just a little off.

Nubia Z50 is a Great Phone with a medicore display
Tumblr media
The Nubia Z50 was officially launched on December 23. With its elegant design and excellent hareware specification, it has left a good impression on users. At the Nubia flagship store, the Nubia Z50 has accumulated 1000+ user reviews, and there is not a single bad review. The Nubia Z50 has a favorable rate of 99%, but before buying, please read this review . The reason why the Nubia Z50 can be recognized by most users is nothing more than these three highlights. First, the Nubia Z50 is equipped with the top-performance Snapdragon 8Gen2 flagship chip, and its performance level has directly reached the peak. Whether it is used daily or playing games, it is extremely smooth. Second, the Nubia Z50 is also equipped with a 144Hz high refresh screen, making the gaming experience smoother and smoother for daily use. Third, the Nubia Z50 is also equipped with a large 5000mAh battery and an 80W charger, which solves the user's battery life anxiety.
Tumblr media
After talking about the three highlights of the Nubia Z50 flagship mobile phone, let’s get down to business and take a look at its user evaluation. Due to the large number of user evaluations, we only selected two user evaluations and one intermediate evaluation. In my opinion, these three user evaluations are of more reference value, and I hope they can be helpful to everyone. User praise 1: The appearance is very atmospheric, the screen is not dazzling for a long time, the camera pixel is high, and it is a very good mobile phone. The Nubia Z50 uses a metal frame with a thickness of only 8.46mm and a weight of about 197g. Coupled with the beautiful curved screen, the overall look is very atmospheric and the hand feels relatively light.
Tumblr media
The 6.67-inch curved screen with a hole in the center also has a refresh rate of 144Hz higher than the industry level, and has passed the UL platinum low blue light eye protection certification. The Nubia Z50 is equipped with two main cameras, one is a 64-megapixel 35mm humanistic main camera, and the other is a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle macro two-in-one main camera. The humanistic main camera supports OIS optical image stabilization, and the photo is very clear. User praise 2: The mobile phone is very smooth, the game does not freeze, and the battery life can last for a whole day.
Tumblr media
The Nubia Z50 is equipped with the Snapdragon 8Gen2 flagship chip. The performance of this chip is very powerful. It must be overkill for daily use. In terms of performance-testing games, the Nubia Z50 flagship mobile phone can easily control the game "Yuan Shen". And it can run close to full frame, and the game experience is very smooth. With a large 5000mAh battery, no matter how you use it, the battery life can easily last all day without recharging. Even if there is no electricity, the equipped 80w charger can fully charge the large 5000mAh battery within 30 minutes. User comments: It has been used for three days. The biggest disadvantage is the yellow screen. It is difficult for those who are used to cold screens to accept it. The screen brightness is very low, which is similar to that of a thousand yuan phone. Cutting hands on the edge of the screen may be the reason for the self-contained film.
Tumblr media
The user said that the Nubia Z50 has been used for 3 days, and the screen is a little yellowed, and the edges of the screen are a little cut. I think the 144Hz curved screen used by the Nubia Z50 has a peak brightness of 1000nits, and the screen is relatively transparent and bright without yellowing. It is even more impossible to cut your hand on the edge of the screen, because the edge of the screen has a bending process, which makes it feel very comfortable. Read the full article

A favorite camera of mine is the Mamiya Twin Lens Reflex Camera. Here is a set of pictures taken with my cell phone off the camera. The picture quality of pictures taken from it still exceed the quality of pictures from the very best cell phone. I did a number of pictures at breitenbush hot springs around 1998. Notably there's one picture taken at Opal Creek Oregon that I posted before. This picture was famous for stopping a Canadian mining company from turning this beautiful natural set of pools into a toxic waste dump. I recently found I could buy film for the camera and purchase some color film as well as black and white. Here I did some documentation of the camera technology which includes the light meter necessary to measure the intensity of the light to set the camera. You look down through the top of the camera and look at a little screen where the upper lens projects a picture almost identical to what the film sees. There is a Bellows which you can see extended in one picture which allows you to do ultra close-ups up to an inch or two away. Also shown is a telephoto lens set which can be clipped on the front in place of the existing front lens. The shutter is actually in the lens itself so before you change lenses a flap of steel blocks off the film compartment to save the film from being exposed while changing lenses. What a strange contraption it is but the resulting pictures can be equivalent to about 100 megapixels on a modern digital camera and the contrast it can handle and replicate is about 10,000 times greater than modern digital cameras. Just for fun I started taking pictures with it and I have an enlarger to do old fashioned enlargements. I'm excited to have brought this camera out of retirement and into use. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cmf3dwbrsiP/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I visited my 78 year old Mother recently and asked her why
I visited my 78 year old Mother recently and asked her why she keeps buying disposable film cameras PBT Resin and not buy a nice digital camera. Her answer didn't surprise me, with all the advances in digital cameras and all the new features, megapixel this, optical zoom with image stabilization that that it was hard to pick the best digital camera for seniors was. I was able to help my Mother study digital cameras and in the process I came up with different features to take in to account while picking out the best digital camera for seniors. It was a surprise to find out what isn't the key feature when choosing the best digital camera for grandparents.
The key features aren't the number of mega pixels, not the amount of zoom or even the camera size. The most important feature in the best camera for seniors is how easy it is to read the dials on the camera. The next time you are at the store and want to choose the best digital camera for seniors you'll notice how pretty and shiny most of them are. All this shine causes glare and glare makes it difficult to see the dials (even for my 40+ year old eyes). So a real shiny digital camera isn't the best camera for seniors. Look for black matte dials and controls when doing a comparison for the best camera for seniors.Besides not being shiny the best camera for seniors needs to be easy to use and understand. The best digital camera for seniors needs to have menus on it that explain what the dials are for, the icons need to be easy to read and interpret.
A major plus for the best digital camera for seniors is if it has bundled software that makes it easy to download the pictures to a computer and easily make adjustments to the photos. The best camera for seniors will also come with software that will makes it easy to upload the photos to the internet so they can be shared with friends and family worldwide. Since I'm going to dream, I'll dream big and look for the best digital camera for seniors to also be related to easy to use printers and photo frames so the photographer (did you notice that by buying the best digital camera for seniors the user has turned into a photographer, not just a senior?) can have one big easy to use system. So when looking for the the best digital camera for seniors look for a non shiny, easy to read and understand camera that is just one part of an integrated digital photography system. When I did my hunt for the the best camera for seniors I found a fully loaded, 10x optical zoom camera with image stabilization.

If you have shot a particularly clean video and want to add texture or personality to the shot, or if you need to clean the noise for VFX reasons (to cut a clean key), then want to renoise the shot after FX, Renoiser will be a handy tool to create a consistent noise level for your production.
Denoiser iii not enough ram Pc#
The new release also adds Renoiser, which is a handy tool for adding noise back into your image. I have a curious problem that I thought I'd share.I have a PC (3Ghz CPU, 1 GB RAM), clean 8384.4 install, nVidia 2600 256 MBRAM video card, and an Apple. An auto-noise feature would help Resolve's tool tremendously to keep pace with Neat Video and Magic Bullet in this arena. Denoiser III offered the fasted refresh, showing us a preview of how the image would look with noise correction after each changed parameter. This meant it had the longest refresh when tweaking the image. The internal noise tool in Resolve is also powerful, but takes slightly longer to learn to use, is only available with the $299 studio package, and in our testing was the most resource intensive. There are likely to be situations where Neat Video's more powerful tools offer a needed level of refinement, but in quick and dirty tests, Denoiser held its own. If you need a noise correction plugin rarely, Denoiser III is it. If you are reading this article because you need to buy a plugin right this very second to deliver a project that was due an hour ago, Denoiser III will get you results faster. Neat Video offers more sophisticated controls, and while the auto-profile tool is wonderful, it does take at least a few minutes to learn.

Magix has an automated server that says the plugs are not supported, and the automated Sony support says Magix suppor. The size of RAM you will need will ultimately depend on the operating system you choose to run your mining machine on. And of course they dont answer phones anymore either.
Denoiser iii not enough ram serial numbers#
Denoiser III is aimed at a wide swath of users, and is just simple drag-on plugin with only five variable sliders. Now that Soundforge has been sold to Magix, my noise reduction bundle serial numbers are just plain missing. However, where Magic Bullet really shines was in being the easiest to use of the options. The best way to evaluate noise is in motion, to see the vibration of noise and to really tell if there are any deal-breaking artifacts.Īs can be seen from the tests, Denoiser III is a powerful tool that matches its competitors easily and provides great options for noise. We took this sample and put it through Resolve's internal noise corrector, and also Neat Video, currently the most popular noise plugin. The final noise was intended as part of the look of the image, and provides a pleasing texture, but is heavy enough noise to not only be noticeable to most users but also to possible cause some problems at broadcast, making it an ideal test for noise correction software.
Denoiser iii not enough ram full#
Despite its high megapixel count, the a7R III is fast with a continuous shooting speed of up to 10fps with full AF/AE tracking this is twice as fast as the 5fps offered by the a7R II. When the Karma GPU variant is released, of course. Inside the a7R III is a 42.4-megapixel back-illuminated full-frame Exmore R CMOS sensor. And if you're lucky enough to have farm machines with GPUs, you can use the GPU on both. not enough RAM Thread starter markwalker Start date Status This thread has been Locked and is not open to further replies. To put it through its paces, we used a sample shot that was originally captured on 35mm film, pushed two stops, and skip bleached. As RobW mentioned, you should be able to run karma on both a GPU-less farm machine via CPU CL and a local workstation with GPU CL, without any user intervention.
Denoiser iii not enough ram install#
The plugin, like the rest of the Magic Bullet Suite, offers broad install support, with not only Resolve and Premiere but also Avid and Final Cut X installs available. I would like to corect a picture with brush manually from the panorama (panorama size: 13300 x 7000 pix).Working with computer vision company wrnch, Denoiser III should be able to do more sophisticated analysis of both the noise and the content of a shot, and remove unwanted noise faster and with less artifacting. As others have said, Neat Denoiser is solid, as is the Denoise plugin that comes with the studio version of Resolve. Photoshop cs6: cannot use the brush because there is not enough RAM Usually 20-33 of the original on top of Neat Video makes for a nice blend. Adobe cs6 could not use the brush because there is not enough RAM

WATERPROOF CAMERA RECORDER UPDATE
WATERPROOF CAMERA RECORDER MANUAL
It’s just not a great choice for those of us with giant hands. That said, I can also appreciate the argument that the X-T30’s light load and small footprint in a bag are some of its best perks - especially for a camera this powerful. If you already own the add-on grip for the X-T20 or even the older X-T10, it’ll also fit the newer camera. Fujifilm’s heavier telephoto lenses might pose some discomfort. With the X-T30, my ring finger also has nowhere to go, which makes for an awkward, but still secure, grip. As with my past Fujifilm cameras, I had to buy the metal hand grip for the X-T3 to keep my pinky from always hanging off the bottom. But size-wise, for me the X-T30 is actually a little too tiny. The X-T30 is only 0.844 pounds as opposed to the 1.19-pound flagship. This is a far more compact and light camera than the X-T3.
WATERPROOF CAMERA RECORDER MANUAL
Everywhere else, it’s hard to find something that surpasses the X-T30 - especially if you’re drawn to Fujifilm’s many dials and knobs for manual control when the moment calls for it. But those trade-offs are fairly standard at this price. You give up some niceties for the lower price, of course: this camera isn’t weather sealed and its electronic viewfinder isn’t quite as immersive or sharp as the X-T3’s.
WATERPROOF CAMERA RECORDER UPDATE
In fact, right now the X-T30 actually delivers better autofocus accuracy and face detection than the X-T3 - at least until a firmware update arrives for the latter sometime this month.īuy for $899.95 from Walmart Buy for $899.00 from B&H Buy for $899.00 from Amazon The X-T30 can record excellent-looking 4K video, and its 425-point phase-detect autofocus system spans the entire frame. It’s got the same fourth-generation 26.1-megapixel APS-C sensor, processing power, speedy burst shooting, and Fujifilm’s whole set of film simulations that require little retouching. And considering that many have hailed the X-T3 as Fujifilm’s best camera ever, that’s a very good starting point. With the $899 X-T30, Fujifilm is trickling down some of the most impressive aspects of the X-T3 into a camera that costs a whopping $600 less. This step-down series is actually Fujifilm’s most popular camera line the X-T20, introduced in 2017, became the company’s best-selling camera ever. For several years running, the company has followed up on its flagship X-series mirrorless camera with a more portable (and more affordable) option that still offers many of the best features and capabilities of the flagship. For Fujifilm, shrinking the phenomenal X-T3 down into a smaller package was always going to be a winning proposition.

10 Tips for Buying Cctv Cameras
If you are looking for a CCTV Installation for your home or SME, you are surely deciding on the best option. CCTV cameras offer security and an inner feeling of harmony. When thieves or crooks target houses or organizations, CCTV video film can help distinguish criminals from criminals in an instant. The observation focuses on leaders in urban communities, especially crime-prone districts, recommends that the installation of CCTV cameras act as a deterrent to committing crime, and media reports suggest an obvious reduction in the number of crime cases revealed in regions where CCTV cameras work.
Whenever you have chosen to buy and introduce CCTV cameras, the next step is to search for the best option. With so many options available, how would you conclude which is best for you? The cost can be a game changer. Numerous sites offer new efficient CCTV camera packages, starting at $599 USD. With sticker costs for every expense plan, buying a CCTV package doesn't have to be an expensive trial. A first time buyer will experience myriad choices: What type of camera lens is ideal for viewing the lens? What are the best survey scheme rates? I want night vision? How much video recording limit and video storage limit will I need?
In this article, we break these terms down for you and help you find the best CCTV package for your needs:
1. CCTV camera lens
Most educated customers use phone cameras and camcorders and examine megapixels and camera lenses like a genius. However, while exploring CCTV camera packages, you may review the term TVL or TV lines. What are these? In fact, most of the CCTV cameras work on a simple camera or a simple TV frame. Later, instead of pixels, we talk about TV lines. We understand that the more pixels, the better image quality we get. Essentially, the more TV lines (likely to measure focal point, light, etc), the better image quality you'll get on your CCTV camera. For general home and business security purposes, camera lenses can range from 420 to 700 TV lines. 700 TV lines is the best you can find, truth be told. When you get into the advanced field of CCTV, you can track more expensive options with much higher target cameras.
2. Web display goal
The web display target uses CIF (Common Intermediate Format) as the estimation unit. Characterizes a grouping of video with a target, for example, 352 X 288 that may have changed to play in PAL or NTSC formats. Stunned? Let us try it one more time. Your camera captures an image at a specific rate called contours every second. The CIF target refers to how your DVR records this image or image arrangement. In a nascent industry of hard drives or hard boards, capacity was expensive. Usually, people liked to think twice before shooting low target images by losing 4 CIF and highest coverage rate. With video capability becoming profitable, you can now capture images at 4 CIF and get the most extreme detail. As the name suggests, 4CIF offers nearly several times the image size and is particularly useful in places such as front work areas, entrances, banking, etc., for facial recognition and lucidity in images. In other regions, where you prefer liquid activity and don't pass development capture, you may turn to CIF during recording.
3. Web display edge rate
We discuss the contour rate (contours per second) with respect to the captured video film and its quality. The idea continues as before, regardless of the type of video capture device you may use. The device actually captures the renders and plays them back with barely a pause in between, making it look like fluid movement or activity. For the most part, in terms of CCTV camera packages, anything above 30fps would give a smooth movie with almost no jerking. Many puts currently offer excellent fixes even on 120fps CCTV camera packages, making it as "consistent" as possible.
