Lego Monkie Kid x Moana AU

Rewatched Moana and was like: "Man, Maui is kinda like Wukong" and now we have this

Explanation

(i might edit this as i go)

MK(Moana): A strange but hyperactive boy, who dreams about great voyages at sea. The same his hero, Sun Wukong, also went on. From a young age, he has felt connection to the ocean, that can never truly be explained.

Wukong(Maui): "The great demigod equal to the seven seas. He has been on many great voyages, on which he has liftided up the sky, created coconuts among many other things. He once had compainions with him on these journeys, but they are all gone now. He also possesed the abilty to transform, but for some reason, cant anymore... He is currently trapped on an Island, unable to get away. He also hates that he is demigod, and will correct anyone who says he is one.

Pigsy and Tang(Moanas parents): The head chief of the island, and his husband, who despartly tried to get MK to stop waisting his time with The Monkie Kings stories and instead become the head chief of the island. They simply dont want him to be like thoughs monsters, from the Monkie king stories, that they may be related to in some way or the other...

Nuwa(Grandma Tala): She isnt MK's real grandma, but he still calls her it (even though her dads does not like her). She told MK all the great stories of the Monkie King, which started his hyperfixation on Sun Wukong and dreams about fantastic voayges. She did this in the hopes he could do... something with this. Im making her morally grey in this AU, since in canon we dont know Nuwa yet.. She was also the one who gave him, his staff-shaped necklace.

Sandy(The water): He is literally a water demon originally- of course i had to make him the morally support water that helps MK through his journery.

Spider Queen(Tamatoa): A giand spider crab, that loves gold as much as herself. She also seems to have the knowledge of why Wukong cant transform anymore.

The Demon Bull family(The coconut pirates): Yea- they just here for the chaos, the funsies, and being good villians, just like the show. :D

Macaque(Tefiti): Once a mighty warrior, that traveled with the great sage, and had a very close bond with. But now he is an angry and terryfing shadow monster Why has he changed? Well, that is the quiston isnt it?;) (Dont worry i have a good angsty backstory for it)

Annie being a mastermind and setting up a group costume. yes. WINNIE THE POOH IS PERFECT. you decide to go as winnie because its an easy costume, you just wear a red top with a cute yellow skirt and some ears. Little did you know when Annie was asking what you were being, she had a plan.

"miss y/n what are you being on Halloween? my daddy can't decide our costumes. he keeps on saying 'but that's not cute enough'" you are like "okay I will tell you Annie but it is a secret, just between us? yeah?" she is BUZZING because hello she's being trusted with an adult secret??? she's basically an adult.

she finds out and sets up a little plan... asks to read her winnie the pooh book at bedtime that night and matty "has a great idea." he thinks Annie will want to be pooh, but NO, she is instant she is piglet. matty is obviously tigger because... hello?? hyperactive and just wants to talk all the time to his group of friends? that is textbook Matthew healy.

cut to halloween at school you are greeting everyone, and you look up to see them walking in, and your face just lights up. not suspecting Annie setting anything up just immediately just being over the moon. matty sees you, and he literally feels his heart squeeze and skip a beat. he just stands and stares in awe, Annie is bouncing and giggling, but he just can't believe you have a joint costume. it's like you're a real family. WAIT, NO HE CANT THINK THAT. NO. PROFESSIONAL THOUGHTS. just a fun coincidence. totally not life altering day-dream material.

ANNIE AS TOAD IS KILLING ME. but also maybe this costume for the first Halloween they're officially together.... IDKKKK 🤭

Growing up, Eddie had experience being tickled from his late childhood to teen years all the way up to his graduation. He never grew out of being a shithead so he never got away with not being tickled:

Being the show off, hyperactive teenager that he was, his uncle would use it as a way to tame the spitfire. Uncle Wayne would nearly clothes line him and pull him into his chest when he was running ramped in the home. Eddie would already have been laughing at this point but would increase in panic/volume as he’d fold when Wayne would start digging his hands into his sides.

Wayne would affectionately put his hand on the back of Eddie’s neck to jostle him a little while talking to him or introducing him as “His boy, Eddie”. Eddie would tense, scrunch up his shoulders and do his very best not to laugh in front of the stranger, acting like he was just embarrassed. He’d blush like hell if Wayne did this around you either introducing you in early childhood or more recently

Uncle Wayne is no stranger to grabbing at his sides to make him give up space of the couch, to which Eddie would flinch so hard he’d nearly stand up before retreating to his side of the lounge.

Or alternatively, latching onto his ankles to pull him out of bed for school. Eddie would kick and laugh regardless of his Uncle’s intention because if anyone was gonna tickle him at that point, It was his uncle.

Although it doesn’t happen an insane amount anymore he will still flinch if Wayne threatens him with an “attitude adjustment”’ or asks if he needs to “Calm down for a minute”, as it was always the go to to refocus young Eddie’s attention.

If Eddie is super hyped up he’ll do a little jump/side step/Almost boxing move like he was about to lunge and/or run away.

“Now don’t get smart with me” Always got him. It’s very clear he got his teasing/friendliness from his uncle

Despite all his Uncles torment, Eddie never assumes someone will try it so he’s very easy to surprise.

After a while he starts catching on but again, never assumes that someone's intention is to be affectionately physical with him. So he doesn’t flinch at first but will narrow his eyes, trying to gage your next move. “What are you planning?” While lowkey hoping it’s what he’s thinking.

Cannot handle being pinned down!!! He loves it so much but if you get him into a position where your hands are on his tickle spots and he cant evade them or twitch around? His laughter quickly turns into “NO! NONONONONONONO BABY BABY PLEASE! NONONO BABYBABYBABYHEEEHEHEHEEH”

Covers his face with both hands prompting a “Baaaaad move, Munson”

Will drop his chin to his chest, giggling if you fluff his hair and accidentally get his ears with your fingertips.

Won’t deny his ticklishness verbally but will absolutely scoff and act like it’s the most ridiculous thing if you ask him. “ME? You’ve lost it, gorgeous.”

His uncle was always quick to start and quick to stop so when you introduce him to ghost tickles/anticipation he’s completely baffled at his new kryptonite.

The first time it’s all “What’s wrong, Eds? I’m not touching you anymore. Why are you still laughing?” “BECAUSE IT STILL TICKLES!” After the first time it’s usually “Yohou knohohow whahat yohohou’re dohohohing yohohou WIHIHITCH!”

Will smirk with his bottom lip inbetween his tongue and teeth just happy cringing and barely laughing until you put the smallest amount of effort in and then he jolts and FOLDS

Has very particular red zones that often baffle you. “Eheddie common, how is it that bad?” “Hohohowahaha dohohoho yohohou ahalwahahays fihihihihnd theheheehem?”

Pouts and crosses his arms to fend off the feeling is you just scribble at his sides and walk away.

I can vividly picture the panicked “Don’t you dare!”

Nerd will read Lord of the Rings to you while you cuddle into his chest, doing little tickles to his torso. He tries to read but can’t stop giggling his ass off and asks “Dohoho yohohou wahahant mehe toho kehehep reheheading ohor nohohot?” “You’re doing just fine 😊xx”

Internally panics at the tease “you’re far too ticklish to be this cocky”.

Steve once asked “Man, does this guy have an off switch?” and Eddie refused to make eye contact with you, fully well knowing you were looking at him.

If you wrap your arms around him from behind, he is T E N S E

Will talk and talk while staring at your hands. Sometimes he’ll just start giggling and jumping. “Yohohou’re dohohoing ihiht on PURPOSE!”

Takes tickling very seriously and as a challenge. One day when he’s laying on his stomach, arms wrapped around the pillow under his face you start scribbling into his ribs. “Ihihi’m NOHOHOT brihihihing my AHARMS DOWN!” (Cause he’s far too tough) “Works for me but yes. Yes you will.”

You ask him how long one of his tattoos took and he tells you “about 5 hours.” “So you can withstand a needle for 5hrs but not tickling for 5 minutes?”

He gets a new tattoo on his torso/ribs and when you ask how long before you can touch it he replies with “Never. YOU can never touch it.”

As long as he can laugh/kick/squirm or straight up run and move around, he can take it pretty well and laugh along without moving your hands away. It’s when you pin him that he calls mercy.

OR the first time you get a new spot, it’s all panic until he can get attuned to it, which there's only one method to do so.

S L U T T Y W A I S T

Doesn’t really know where his super bad spots are/where makes him laugh vs giggle and how bad light vs hard tickles affect him. He’d be genuinely curious but is very embarrassed and has a hard time receiving affection so he often provokes you into doing it.

On the same note, he CANNOT ask for it, if you tell him to admit he likes it or hit him with the old “what? you gotta tell me what you want” he’d groan so loud and put his head to the nearest pillow/wall or just into your chest. Of course you take pity on him because otherwise he’d go without, which would make you both sad.

Has the potential to boot you off the bed so instead he’ll keep a firm grip in you so you don’t get jolted off. This only keeps you close so he kinda digs his own grave. If it gets too much he’ll just pull you close into a hug and let you keep going while he laughs into your chest/collarbone, holding onto you for dear life.

“Steady, Munson”

Gets into a habit of holding you. Either you or your hands and won’t even notice how he could push your hands away but chooses not to.

His face will overheat if you point this out

Today seemed like a normal day at camp. Everyone was eating whatever slop Q.M severed up. Max poked at the 'food' with his plastic fork. "Are we expected to eat this?" Max thought.

"Alright campers!!" David announced. Max rolled his eyes pluging his ears, enough to hear but enough to muffle out David's hyperactive voice.

"Today will be a fun day at the dock!" David said, smiling ear to ear. Max always thought it was creepy how that man could stay happy for so long.

Max unplugged his ears in annoyance. "shit" he whispered. As the whole camp knew, he already embarrassed himself with revealing he cant swim. (and taking classes with David was a definite no) For all he could do was 1, sit at the end of the docks praying not to get called out, and 2, sneak off somewhere and try to enjoy the camp. I don't think I would need to tell you which one Max picked.

"Single file line kids!" David shouted raising one hand in the air and the other over his mouth like a make shift mega phone.

"C'mon kids!" Gwen yawned "Hold on David I left something in the cabin, I'll be back." David gave her a nod and Gwen ran back to the cabin. As Gwen closed the cabin door behind her she turned to start walking back to David when she sees puffy haired 4'6 figure sneaking away into a forest. Gwen blinked and rubbed her eyes, and the small figure had disappeared. "Huh, that surly wont be a problem later!" she thought and continued walking back to David and the rest of the campers.

"Stupid...Camp!" Max thought kicking a rock while walking through a dirt path. Trees blocked out most the sun above him, sure he was still hot wearing his blue hoodie, but he'd never take it off.

"Hey Gwen! You're back!" David said smiling

"Hey wait, wheres Max?"

Gwen's small smile faded to an "uh oh" expression

"I thought he was with you!"

"I thought he was with YOU!"

"Well Clearly not!!" Gwen panicked

"Oh goodness! Watch over the campers I'll try to go find him!" David shouts out running back to the tents. “MAX? MAAAXXX!?” He calls out, he panicked more when nobody called back. “Oh god where could he be?” David thought

“No campers, and no Dav-,” Max sighed but stop when he heard his name being called in the distance, “Damn it!” His face turned to a frown. ‘If David’s out looking for me, it won’t take long for him to search the forest’ “I just need one day of nobody in my face! Just one!” Max stated aloud as if he was trying to prove something,

“The forest! Oh my god he could be anywhere in the forest!!” David said in panic, rushing to the end of the camp and searching the trees

“MAAAAAXXXXX!!” David called out

‘Does he expect me to call back?’ Max thought with a very puzzled expression on his face. He shook the thought off and decided, ‘if I don’t notice him, he won’t notice me’

Max heard David walking below him and praying to god that David doesn’t look up. Max tried to be as quiet as possible, he placed his arm on the extra branch above him. Unlucky for him as the beach above him shook as birds flew away, not very quiet

“Damn it” Max said as David looked up

“Max! There you are!! We’ve been looking for you!”

“Yeah I know, I could hear you!” Max said annoyed

“Alright now, come on down. We have to get back to the dock!” David said reaching his arms out

“No I’m staying up here!”

“Maaxx come on!”

“Nuh uh! You can’t make me camp man!” Max said backing himself to where the branch meets the bark

“You can’t stay up there forever! Come on now!”

“No! Stop it!” Max swatted at David’s hands that where trying to pick him up.

“Stop! Don’t Touch me- Aah!” Max now hang on to the tree branch while David tugged on his legs

“Max if you just let go, we will go back to the dock!”

“Never! I’m not going!”

“Max,” David said moving his hands up to Maxs torso to get a better grasp.

David now tugging on a very dedicated Max, David’s hands on the boys torso and the boys hands hanging onto a branch. Just then David squeezed Maxs sides.

“HEHEY! Don’t do that!!” Max said flinching at the touch

“Sorry did I hurt you Max?” David asked confused

“ No it’s just, ‘This man has to be the most clueless person on the planet!’” Max thought, still trying to hang onto the branch

David squeezed his side again,

“AH- David!! You’re going to kill me!!” Max jumped. Davids face lit up, max wasn’t hurt! He’s just ticklish!

“Ohhh you’re just ticklish Max!”

“Oh jee? Really? I would have never guess!” Max said with sarcasm. Max took this opportunity to try to climb back up the tree.

"Oh no you dont, max come 'ere!" David squeezed Maxs sides over and over again

“GAHA-!” Max almost bursted out laughing using his free hand to cover his mouth, muffling the laughter

“Aww max, dont give me that! Cmon laugh for me!” David fake pouted, scribbling along Maxs tummy. Max shook his head fast, almost losing his grip on the branch.

“Dahavid!!” Max whined, David began to start working his way up Maxs body now spidering along his armpits.

“Max I’m only doing this for your own good!” David stated

“NAHAHA!! DAVID!!” Max squealed, letting go of the branch and falling into David’s arms

“see now that wasn’t hard was it?” David teased, reaching down to wiggle his fingers in his neck

“NO! Uhh, I mean, ech-em,” Max panicked shooting his hands ageist David’s to stop his fingers.

“Not the neck..” Max said embarrassed and quiet

“I’m sorry max, what was that?” David said leaning his ear down to hear better

“I uhh, I said not the neck ok?” Max’s face went a shade of red, god this was so embarrassing!

“why not the neck Max?” David teased

“you know!” Max raised his voice

“ok ok! But now we have to go back to the dock, Gwen is worried your setting fire to the camp.”

“Ugh thank god you found him! I was about to start filing a missing child’s poster! Geez Max your parents would probably kill me if we lost you!” Gwen blabbed running up to David seeing Max with him.

Max’s expression went from normal to a ‘oh yeah.. my parents..’ kind of expression. Gwen noticed and a confused light bulb went off in her head. She didn’t mention it but continued to yap to David about how she searched everything and everywhere and she was jus so relieved that they found their camper.

good thing Max didn’t think about Gwen’s comment for to long when he saw Niki and Neil and decided to join next to them on whatever they where doing.

since we’re talking about malpractice, and I am ill with hyperfixation, I went ahead and looked up the procedure for exorcisms months back and the book commits, at most, 3:

Listen to the doctor’s diagnosis (he stops Damien from explaining to him Regan’s medical history)

The Exorcisms are prayers. This isn’t a screaming match.

If the person being exorcised is a woman, make sure there’s another woman in the room so everyone can make sure the priest doesn’t assault her or coerce her into anything. The last one’s more for the people involved. You cant always trust priests, even whoever wrote the Roman Ritual knew that. Chris does appear in the room later, but Damien makes the mistake of asking her not to go in and Merrin just lets him make that call (Karras is only assisting and Merrin should know better)

I’m a little surprised since all the medical scenes were handled with care and empathy (though. It was still the 70s. ADHD and DID hadn’t even been coined yet. They were still under the umbrella terms of hyperactivity disorders and schizophrenia), but then I remember the author legitimately believed in exorcisms and also the book is meant to be kind of short. Everything gets kind of rushed out

weeeee been fronting most of today and it's actually kinda weird! you'd think I'd be used to it being one of the former hosts and the one who's been host the longest, but it's been so long since I regularly fronted that honestly it's a little bit strange to realize I've been out and about for most of the day! p sure Crimsy is exhausted and depressed out of his mind and Cyan is tired from dealing with the whole Ginger/Cardinal/Green fiasco.

lyca lived the majority of his life peacefully, until one day his beloved cousin, norma, disappeared suddenly, leaving nothing behind.

determined to find them, he ventured into the splatlands desert - him, a 10 year old, alone and desperate.

on his journies, he found princess, who he called "little buddy" and took in as his little sister. in truth, princess was a lot older than him, and got lost when attempting to finally reach maturity so she could join in the battle against the inklings... but, this one didn't seem too bad

they travelled together for a very long time (like a year) until the small scattered towns finally stopped appearing and the two nearly died of exhaustion and dehydration

they were rescued by pentolo and staple (WHO ARE ALSO HERE!!!!! HIIII), being taken in as children, and being legally adopted (by salmonid law at least)

once nu was 14, his two dads encouraged him to leave the nest and try to reintegrate into inkfish society. he REFUSED to go without little buddy, even knowing how illegal it was, so the two set off for the only place that probably wouldn't give a shit - SPLATSVILLE!!

in the far future, after the events of RotM, they end up forming a pop-punk-hard metal band with neo3!!!!

he is - wAs - an evil prince, stolen by a spy and put into masa's house to be taken care of like a Commoner:tm:. masa initially did not really appreciate this infant child much, but she soon grew to love him (even without th weird elven magic that makes everyone want to care for them)

he's very silly and extremely hyperactive, getting into a looot of trouble especially as a younger teen. his best friends, wist and april (HIIIIIII) ended up helping him get both in and out of most of that trouble

he cares a lot, maybe way too much, and even caring gets him into trouble...

Okay so if you’re saving the other lapcat blitzen ask for possible writing (I know you like to do that sometimes) I am sending this ask where you can just dump some general thoughts because like… brain go brrr… oh my gosh brain is going BRRRR. What if they got pumpkin as a little mouse… like also a pet but not a lap pet. Kept around to do chores and for blitzen to play with… poor babey :( ~🐸

YES OK SO. blitzen would be super super feisty. seth would have to keep his murder mittens in actual mittens so he cant claw at him. blitzen keeps hissing. very hyperactive and violent.

so seth gets pumpkin as stress relief. tells blitzen that he can go to town on them, they (seth) dont mind. and blitzen does. he has so much pent up aggression. pumpkin takes it, is screaming and crying, but takes it. they wish desperately to be the lap pet.

blitzen grows to rly like being able to exert some form of power over at least one creature. pumpkin is absolutely bottom of the hierarchy. they cant go one day without being smacked and humiliated and laughed at.

blitzen calms down after acquiring pumpkin. he realises headpats arent the end of the world.

if blitzen ever lunges at or hurts ty, seth beats him until he cant move <3 throws him in the cage for a couple days. seth never stops taking safety measures w blitz, unlike w ty and pumpkin

9- Who is their favorite staff member? Why? ... Coach Vargas- HAVWHDJVAJ IM SORRY BUT VARGAS IS FUNNY OK. Tuna is hyperactive and has fun in PE. We running the bleachers? Tuna is thrilled. Flight Lessons? Even if they are scared of heights, its thrilling!!! On top of having the most fun in PE, Tuna actually loves to instigate the supportive coach yelling. For example Tuna might encourage their partner by yelling "I DONT WANNA SEE YOU STOP RUNNING UNTIL YOUR MUSCLES SCREAM!!!" all in jokes/ light hearted banter. Vargas is probably standing like a proud dad wiping a tear "Thats my boy!" Also the prank at camp? YOU CANT TELL ME IT WASNT A FUN EVENT- If Tuna had participated properly instead of having to sneak in, Tuna would be laughing so hard at the end.

12- What is your OC’s favorite event(s), what was their role? Camp Vargas. Tunas role was to prank everyone working while they just messed around, as Tuna wasn't actually supposed to be there. They had to avoid being caught/ seen by Vargas. It was like a big game of hide and seek for them! Outside of Camp Vargas I will say Beans Day. Tuna was a farmer and played mostly as a support for their teammates! However, in the end they just get caught after sacrificing themselves as a running distraction~

symptoms of ana (taken from google) + why theyre good for me/why i dont care about them

(pro recov for everyone but me)

dehydration - eh i cant say this ones good for me, but im dehydrated anyways. literally out of drinkable water rn

dizziness - will validate my feeling of being sick

fainting - people will start caring for me

fatigue - already have it and i dont even leave my room

low blood pressure - skip this one, its not goodddd

low body temperature - its hot all the time + my dad likes the car really burning. plus summers coming up and its easier to feel warmer than cooler

osteoporosis - my bones r already weak asf from holding up all this f@t

water-electrolyte imbalance - idk tbh im not smart

feeling cold - same as the low body temp thing

binge eating - already do, and have long before i realized i was disgustin n had to change

compulsive behavior - i doubt it honestly.. the worst thatll happen is not being able to breathe. (when i was younger, i would need to hum a weird tune before i allowed myself to breathe? no clue why, but I couldn't stop)

hyperactivity - i have adhd but the type where my mind wont shut the fuck up

impulsivity - i already do

social isolation - i already isolate myself.. hell, i even started skipping school.

anxiety - i have the disorder

guilt - nah i never feel guilty (except when i eat then come on tumblr)

hey i hope this isnt weird with me being a total stranger but i saw your post in the tag about ocd + adhd and not knowing if that’s a Thing and i just thought i would send you my two cents, since ocd + adhd is apparently exactly what i have! in my case i got diagnosed w/ ocd first and then adhd (inattentive type) a year later. i know chances of misdiagnoses are very high from what i have read and talks ive had with both my ocd and adhd specialists, particularly misdiagnosing ocd as hyperactive adhd. but i really can tell you that i definitely definitely have both. i can read about either one, about the unique symptoms/experiences with technically no overlap, and just go “exactly exactly exactly” every line. adhd meds work wonders for helping me feel grounded and focused but does nothing to control my compulsions, while ocd therapy has been so effective for overcoming some of my obsessions but does nothing to mitigate hyperfixations, etc. it feels like i kind of have otherwise textbook cases of both, except for the fact that i just happen to have them together (ain’t life fun)

speaking completely from my own experiences, i will say my adhd tendencies and my ocd tendencies usually feel pretty separate. i would describe it spending most of the day dealing with adhd stuff with ocd moments peppered in lol. but i feel they do interact in some ways. certainly my adhd makes my worst ocd compulsions more difficult to deal with because it can overlap with bouts of hyperfocus that makes it VERY hard to stop. my adhd also makes erp therapy plans (i.e. exposure-response prevention, standard ocd treatment) harder to stick to consistently due to executive dysfunction, plus my weird rotation of more minor ocd obsessions and compulsions that come and go at varying levels of intensity almost like hyperfixations. my ocd in turn affects my adhd hyperfixations by making my engagement with them a bit compulsive at times. basically it feels like adhd and ocd are two little guys in my brain pointing at each other saying “i can make them worse” lol

obviously i cant diagnose you over a tumblr ask or at all nsgshshs im not a professional myself or anything, i also don’t know if this will even sound relatable because adhd can present soo differently and ocd can entail so many different kinds of obsessions and compulsions but i thought it might help to share my experience at least in case it’s at all helpful. good luck and stay well out there!

i totally understand what you're saying abt them making each other worse - i feel like some of my obsessions have stemmed from forgetting things due to adhd, and then overcompensating and becoming obsessive over not forgetting. i also have BFRBs (body focused repetitive behaviors - skin picking in my case, but hair pulling is also common) and i've read that those are common with both adhd and ocd. i was on stimulants for a while for my adhd and fatigue, and while they helped those issues immensely, they didn't really help the picking at all, so i wonder if that's because stimulants don't usually help ocd?

anyway, this isn't weird at all and i really appreciate hearing other people's perspectives 💖 it makes me feel like i'm less alone in my brainweirdness!
