🎂 YESSS he deserves to be chubby!!!!! And rest!!! He’s had such a hard life he deserves to relax and be happy and eat good food.

Gears comes over to watch Clef make French onion soup. This time, Clef silently makes more room for him in the kitchen, and asks Gears to slice an onion. Gears realizes that he… hasn’t really cooked before. He doesn’t know which direction to cut it, how big of slices, until Clef carefully guides his hands into position and tells him how to slice the onions— the knife is very sharp, Clef warns, it’ll keep the onions from making you cry, but you don’t want to cut yourself.

He sort of hugs Gears from behind, watching him dutifully as he cuts up an onion. That’s when he notices that Gears feels… just a little softer. He feels it a little more when he runs his hand over Gears’ tummy, which makes Gears stiffen and politely ask not to be groped with a very sharp knife in his hand. But it’s unmistakable, Gears has gained a little weight!!! Clef feels weirdly proud of himself for that.

They settle down at the kitchen table while the soup cooks and the onions caramelize, and Clef can’t stop smiling. God, he just wants to see Gears happy and let him enjoy himself (especially since the foods Clef makes are things he’s either never had, or things he hasn’t had since he started working at the foundation)

I love them,,,

yessss he's soft and comfortable and his clothes don't fit right anymore but he's more comfortable than he's been in years. He no longer feels faint or light headed half the time. Cooking together is the highest form of love + gears trusting clef enough to eat his food because a lot of foods make him sick or give him sensory issues

making a book of my fic(s) and running your fingers across the pages while lovingly whispering my precioussss

doing these things with anything I create for fandom, such as meta, headcanons, au nonsense like 'texts from the brodinsons,' etc

I am not fine with "the audience"

doing any of the above with the purpose/intent of plagiarizing my work or passing it off as their own in any capacity

feeding my work into ai for any reason whatsoever

I want to see characters being taken care of in an explicit and worshipful way. Home-cooked meals. Hair brushed and braided by gentle hands. Little gifts just because.

I want to read about characters who are not used to kindness being bombarded by acts of service. This trope works romantically and platonically. Give me found family and acts of service - all the ways a character is wrapped up in wordless, explicit care after years of cruelty and having no idea how to handle. I need it.
