Almost May. #I didn't get the title registration card in the mail until like June #So I registered my car and bought the plates. 100% bought the plates I KNOW I bought the plates #Fast forward to now it is August and still no plates in the mail. No notification that they've been mailed or received or ANYTHING #SO I'm sitting here going hey where are my plates my temporary tags have expired on my car and I could get ticketed for that #I decide you know what I'll go to the DMV directly and get this sorted out. Fucking hate the DMV all my homies hate the DMV #But what can you do you know. Idk where the plates are. #I was very worried bc the mailroom in my apartment was broken into so somebody could have stolen the plates out of my mailbox #And I'd be none the wiser!! Bc I haven't received any sort of notification that they were delivered! #So I decide to go to the DMV right but my coworker tells me that they don't do walk ins anymore. They only see you by appointment #The next appointment wasn't available until August 22nd. LIKE. THREE WEEKS FROM NOW #So I book the appointment. And I send them an email going like hey uh I kinda need new temp tags while I'm waiting to be seen abt my plates #And they email me back going oh lol this is the wrong county you need to go to blah blah blah county office #So I'm like jesus christ okay I'll go to the correct county office. LUCKILY they have walkins so I drove over there today #I walked in and the girl working the customer service counter asks me what I need and I say hey I'm having issues getting my plates #I hand her my title registration card and she looks it up and goes oh lol we have your plates. They were returned #APPARENTLY they fucked up my address and didn't include the apartment number on the package so it got returned to them #SO THEY'VE JUST HAD MY FUCKING PLATES FOR A MONTH AND A HALF AND DIDN'T TELL ME. NO EMAIL NO PHONE CALL NOTHING IN THE MAIL #The girl goes into the back and grabs my plates. Thank god I finally have my fucking plates #LUCKILY I didn't actually have to wait in line she just grabbed them and I didn't need to get a ticket to see someone at the counter #But oh my god. SO fucking stressful dude. #I hate adulting <3 #Also my computer had a hacking scare so there's that too #But that's a whole other can of worms #Lies down I'm fucking exhausted bro

S: Would the plot have been improved if they had a competent adult to rely on? No, I don't really think so. If 'improved' means the plot being better to read, then definitely not. The Animorphs revealing everything to their parents just works better already because they're a bunch of kids with no adults to rely on, and because they've been in that situation from the start.

Q: Could any scenes be altered by letting the characters curse? Sadly, once again, I don't think so. Not that I can remember or think of.

Honestly I think I'm just too attached to how this book already is. I'm having difficulty thinking of it changing at all.

I have a lot of questions about my identity. I'm female but sometimes I wish I feel like I'm not. I don't always feel confident about my body and then I wish it could be more masculine (more muscular and no breasts). I would want to walk more masculine and then I don't feel female at all. On the other side, sometimes I do feel female (doing my hair and interested in designing clothes). Then I don't care about my body and try to accept it as it is. I never feel 100% female or male though.

My feelings about it switch from time to time. Sometimes I feel more masculine and other times I feel more female. I really don't know what this is. I've read a lot about this, but I don't know what suits for me. Demigirl, Bigender, Genderfluid are terms I feel that could be me, but I'm so confused about everything.

I wanna talk about it to someone, but I feel like they wouldn't understand me and be really surprised about it. I feel like I should give reasons why I feel like that, but I don't know why. I also don't know how to bring it up. Do you have any tips that could help me?

I totally getcha, this is similar to what I went through when I started questioning and I'm sorry it's so confusing and frustrating, but hopefully you come out of it with a better understanding of yourself and your identity :] My biggest advice is to stop looking for what you are SUPPOSE to be, and dive into the mindset of going for what you WANT to be. A lot of this is gonna make more sense to you the less you treat it like a series of symptoms that need diagnosis, things like labels and presentation are more like decorating your house. You can do it however you want and you can mix and match as you see fit. So those 3 identities you listed, they really are just words for you to use for yourself, not for other people to choose for you. None of them are "more accurate" for your gender than the other, they're there as tools for you, to help you find community and feel happy and comfterablewith yourself. For example, do you like calling yourself a demigirl over bigender or genderfluid? Then call yourself a demigirl. Do you feel like genderfluid would feel better as a label? Call yourself that instead. Can't decide between the three? Use all three interchangeably until you figure which one you like best, or use them all forever, nothing wrong with that! Don't like any of them? Feel free to toss em out and find other identities, invent a new term, or don't call yourself anything at all! Treat these things like accessories for your enjoyment, the way you interpret your own gender is no one's buisness but your own. Let yourself go for what makes you happiest, and you'll feel happy with your identity.
