For the record:

The reason why I am so vehemently against the ship name of "HangSwerve" is due to the fact that Hangman Adam Page is white and Swerve Strickland is Black and in this "great nation" of USAmerica there are extreme racist implications behind a white man hanging a Black man. Therefore, "HangSwerve" will never fly for me.

The image above is ALSO why "HangSwerve" as a shipname cannot work due to non Black wrestling fans thinking the discomfort with the name is solely just discomfort and not a subconscious (or conscious) reaction to the inherent anti-Black image that this conjures in a Black mind. They also think gang warfare is cutesy meme material and not something that ends and ruins the lives of Black and Brown people so they don't have to think critically about why this image is jarring and not actually funny nor do they have to think about why the idea of a Black man being in a position to be hanged by anyone let alone a blue eyed, blonde haired white man from fuckin Virginia whose gimmick is a cowboy is disturbing in its origins and therefore unpleasant to witness.
