Got to thinking about the Insurrectionists (Innies) from RvB. They need more to do cuz they exist for like...purely just cannon fodder for freelancers to kill with impunity?

And they're fucking Insurrectionists right? That means they should have a semi-cohesive belief system the helps us understand what their goal is with Insurrection? And like, yeah, Isle isn't/shouldn't just monologue the whole backstory and beliefs of the innies, but fuck we should know SOMETHING about what they believe!

Can you fucking IMAGINE? Imagine getting a cohesive ideology for an antagonistic faction. Literally in S13 if they gave Sharkface 1 line that addressed it further that'd be infinitely more helpful. Sharkface could've been Temple and we'd have had just as much idea what the innies goals were after season 13.

Desire: What's one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

Here’s a fun thing about me I love making characters Driven By Something so I’m gonna just do Shaw for this one so it’s not five million words long!

Now you might be thinking ‘Oh it’s just revenge right this is the nemesis man’ and while revenge is part of it, I’d consider Shaw’s ultimate desire to be something closer to understanding? He wants to understand why Lenore was killed just as much as he wants to see her killer face immediate and painful justice, and debatably the question of ‘Why her?’ matters more overall to him then just pure bloody revenge. That idea of understanding also ties into a lot of his other things - his fascination with Neathly languages & interest in the Great Game, which arose somewhat from curiosity.

His desire to understand the motives and inner workings of things is something that Shaw is pretty open with, and something he takes a bit of pride in if he’s being honest with himself. A drive to discover / understand is something he values highly in other people, too.

What would he do to fulfil it…? Ahaha… a lot of shit really. As long as his actions wouldn’t directly tread into his own personal Issues (See - the conclusion of the Cheesemaker’s storyline) Shaw’s willing to do a lot of things to learn whatever he feels like he needs to, including getting his hands down and dirty! …he might just hate himself for it after but w/e

one of my honest to god favorite things about black butler is that sebastian just kinda sucks

like he tries so hard to be perfect bc he's such a prideful mf and on the rare occasions he succeeds... it's kinda overshadowed by the fact that he's just the most pathetic mf on the planet and YES i'm saying this as a sebastian lover

Anya x Astarion fic

TW: Raphael being an asshole and the Bard Orthon interaction is mentioned to its full completion. It mentions of game ending so spoilers and tw. It also spoilers a lot of the Pale Elf storyline and everything with that. Human trafficking is mentioned specifically but I think that is expect from the Pale Elf Storyline.

Raphael comes for a visit to congratulate Anya for how she handled the Orthon, showing how truly devious she can be when needed. He bears a gift! A contract between her father and Cazador to sell an employee of the Golden Eye Tavern.

Anya decides to go deal with it alone... Which makes our favorite, absolutely terrified vampire spawn panic. Luckily he finds her... but she is crying. Alone.

And it breaks his dead heart.
