okay im reading an unauthorized fan treatise and im loving it already. just finished the prologue and it’s just. perfectly captured the energy of toxic fandom culture. the absolute speculation… i’ve avoided spoilers and i’ve once again literally only just finished the prologue so idk if this is a running theme or something ppl already talk about one of my favorite details so far is just. how much the fandom (or at least the part we see) ignores anya. like it starts with an article talking about how she’s the star of the show and literally no one talks about her or her character. gottie literally removes her section of the interview. that’s so fucking real. the amount of fandoms i’ve been in that just ignore the girl characters/actors to instead focus on gay romance (that most of the time doesn’t exist) is staggering

Venti realizing who you are because the wind seems to sing whenever you're around. It's constantly guiding him to you and actively pushes him away from the fake on the throne. He's not stupid, he sees the way the land flourishes wherever you go. The plants and wind seem to cradle you while rejecting the faker outright.

Knowing he can't approach you in his human form (he's seen how you shy away from any and all human contact), he shifts into his wind sprite form to greet you. He's more than happy to show you the love and affection you deserve as the First Guiding Wind. And so what if he keeps quiet about how much he adores the affection you give back? It's not like you mind, ehe!

How did you like Control???

LOVED IT. One of the most creative pieces of media I’ve ever experienced. It’s gorgeous, shockingly funny, all the interspersed filmed footage delighted me.

That said, I was so overwhelmed (read: shitting my pants in fear and confusion) I think it took me 4 attempts over 2 years to finish? All the NPC buddies made it worth it though. I’m sure I skipped a ton of side missions (and the DLCs too, I’m not ready for more horrors just yet)
