WiPs update

I'm hoping to update my four Kid-centric wips in time for his birthday on 1/10

Passing Fascination (yandere) is set, Honeysuckle Red's (vampire AU) almost there( ah... hahaha have I not posted any of those chapters to tumblr or Ao3? ... apparently not. Ahem.), and Elevated (Extension of Elevator Music one-shot) had half a chapter done already. Soul'd Out (Demon AU ) might give me some grief, but if I can wrangle it between today and tomorrow I'll try to get Hat Trick (Kid/Reader/Law) in there too.

the good news is, that I had a stroke of inspiration and now I have a full idea of how I want Honeysuckle to go, some backstory for it, and ideas for the next dozen or so chapters, which is huge cause while I knew what Vibe I wanted it to have I was getting stalled by the details.

I'm still doing some Host Club drabbles too, and once 1/11 hits I'm going to shift focus onto the Forget Me Not event (Requests for that are still open, stories will start dropping 1/15)

While Copperhead has been under Nehebkau's influence since the day he committed his first murder, only once has he actually been taken over by the evil spirit. Normally he is content to slumber, slowly regaining his strength through the 'sacrifices' he has his host commit so when that nourishment stops coming, Nehebkau gets angry. To punish Copperhead for denying him substance, Nehekbau waited until his host was alone with the first friend he'd made after the death of his family before taking over, brutally ripping Copperhead's friend to pieces and leaving the dismembered remains for him to find after regaining consciousness. While he never remembered anything of that incident, Copperhead always thought he'd been responsible for his friend's murder and didn't make another friend for years, for fear of hurting yet another person he cared about.

Letting the quiet sounds of the Hostelry wash over her, Lihtbryda makes a noise of understanding, taking a mouthful of her drink and watching Gosetsu over the rim of her cup.

"It's only natural. You've spent your whole life taking care of Lord Hien, and now you're freed from that duty. It must feel like a mountain has been lifted from you," the mercenary replies, looking out over the railing of the balcony to the street below.

"Ha! Very true. A great mountain, more weight than I ever thought I could bear. But... a weight I miss. Is my Lord doing well? Is he keeping pleasant company? Is he getting enough rest?"

Staring into his cup, the Doman falls quiet for a few seconds before shaking his head. "Bah! Here I am with a woman such as yourself and I can only speak of my past. Tell me, is the talisman I gave you any help in controlling your heat?"

Touching the slip of paper around her neck - already smouldering at the edges, but suppressing her temperature to bearable levels - Lihtbryda is about to answer when a shimmer of Aether at Tenkonto catches her eye, and she grins, nudging her companion.

"It looks like you're going to be able to see what kind of company he's keeping."

Sure enough, materialised into Kugane is Lord Hien himself, arm in arm with a pale-haired Hyur.

"The Kami bring serendipity indeed," Gosetsu muses, "but I would not wish to intrude on his time with his lady friend. Besides, I believe you promised a trip to the springs?"

Getting to her feet and throwing a handful of coin on the table, Liht smirks. "Indeed. Come on, we'll find somewhere quiet."

they say go to a psychiatrist or get therapy but what they don't tell you is that it's very hard to advocate for yourself especially when the thing working against you is yourself and it takes a long time to start making any kind of progress until you and your therapist or psychiatrist are on the same page on what your actual issues are. and sometimes you really need someone who is skilled and patient enough to help you even get to a point where you can articulate your own problems

He actually hit it off with another girl at the All Girl's Boarding School his parents sent him off to during his early teens, the two sneaking off for a bit of 'private fun' until the bullying incident occured where he lost his temper and glassed his tormentor's face.
