Hey, so I read Baroque by @five-rivers today, and almost immediately began to sketch Danny. It is very rough, and I can't draw wings or chitons as well as I'd like to, but hey, it's a sketch.
So like - when you've written a fanfic so intense that someone has the urge to create something in companion, you know it's good. Like, this fanfic was the kind of good I don't even know how to describe. Although maybe ' catharsis ' is a good term, because I felt very emotionally drained and satisfied by the end. Like, so many emotions popped up, and in the end all I could do was go ' hehehe funky demon Danny sketch OwO '
Soo... Yeah! Funky Demon Danny Sketch! •^•

I spend a lot of time thinking about food: what it means to us, how it shapes us, and the role it plays in communities and relationships. The two questions I ask my loved ones most are 'have you eaten' and 'what are you cooking?' I ask those questions because food represents so much: care, nourishment, love, health, location, history, identity. I ask those questions because I truly believe that food makes us who we are.
I am so excited to announce a project that focuses on the food that shapes us. Announcing The Personal Canons Cookbook, an essay series discussing food, identity, and community. Submissions are open now! You can find full details at this link, but here’s the bouillon:
~1000 words on food that has shaped you
Plus a recipe (which I’m happy to help with if you don’t prefer recipe-writing)
$150 payment on acceptance
BIPOC and non-US contributors strongly encouraged!
The Personal Canons Cookbook will run throughout 2023. I can’t wait to share it with you all. I have some really exciting authors and artists lined up to participate in this series. I can’t share details just yet, but I can confirm that they are absolutely electrifying. This series will be free to read, but Stone Soup Supper Club subscribers will get early recipe access, bonus content, and (if I get enough paying subscribers to afford it) a Stone Soup Recipe Collection at the end of the year with every recipe Stone Soup has ever shared.
I’m currently offering a 25% discount on paid subscriptions to the Supper Club, because I really, really want to be able to afford to put that cookbook together. I hope you’ll consider supporting the project and joining the Supper Club community! Either way, I can’t wait to see what you all have to say about whether you’ve eaten and what you’re cooking. Submissions close Dec 31.
Here’s that link again for you: Let’s get cooking.

A/N: I’m back already with another little drabble. Honestly, I can’t believe I’m posting another piece but here we are. I’ve really enjoyed writing the past few days and I have a few more ideas for characters that I love. So you may see me around! Asahi deserves more fics (he’s such a sweetheart and deserves more love) so I decided to write a little something for our favourite Karasuno ace and the five people who love him (I’m kidding about the number, but man I wish there was more content for him). I suck at editing, especially when it comes to comma usage, so please excuse any errors you will inevitably find.
Asahi has been staying out late the past week. There is a major project due in a few days and he’s rushing to get it done, after restarting it three times, but he promises that he’ll be free for Valentine’s Day to take you out. When you do check in on him over the week, begging for pictures of his progress, he tells you that he’ll show you the final product once it's done being marked but he insists, that this piece is the best thing he’s ever made. On Valentine’s Day, you come home to a garment bag draped carefully across your bed with a note attached to the hanger. I just wanted you to have this for our date tonight. You were worth all the late nights. I love you.
“How did you get it to fit so perfectly?” you ask, sliding your feet into your heels before you admire your reflection one last time in the mirror. “You think that after loving you for all these years, I haven’t memorized the shape of you?” he mumbles, blushing slightly as his gaze lingers on you, in awe of how beautiful you look, before he follows you out of your apartment. With your back turned to him, he quickly slides on a pair of gloves before taking your hand in his. It’s a little too hot for gloves, his palms are already sweaty, and he knows you’re gonna joke about him trying to start a new fashion trend, but all that doesn’t matter to him. He just doesn’t want you to see that his fingers are covered in bandages from all the times he’s pricked himself while hand stitching your dress. But between seeing how you looked at yourself with a sense of wonder before leaving and having your hand in his as you walk together to the restaurant, he barely remembers that they are there.

Hi
I write stories and poetry
I'm open to writing requests about poetry or stories from fandoms I'm currently in (right now, The Last of Us [Focused in Joel & Ellie], Nimona and Arcane), so, please ask if you want me to write something (No guarantee about it being good, but I'll try)
I'm also open to having a chat about anything; if you're looking to talk to people about randomness, feel free to dm me
I don't know what to say here. I'm kinda of unhealthily shy and a tad too self destructive, so I will try to post things here to see if I can improve a little of these characteristics. Also my English, since it's not my first language.
Pronouns: you choose

I want to meet the world. I wish with all my heart I could go to art school somewhere I can learn to be better, where art is seen and appreciated and taken seriously the way my country doesn't.
I wish. I wish. I wish.
I wish I could be everything, try every option. I wish I could live to learn and study about every subject that interests me. I want to be an art teacher, an illustrator, and a marine biologist, and a wildlife rehabilitator, and a designer. I want to teach little kids and inspire teenagers. And I want to learn how to swim and lose my fear of the ocean so I can dance with whale-sharks and help turtles. I want to hold monkeys and capture snakes that wander into houses and work with big cats. And man I wish I could paint big canvas and fill page after page with art for the rest of my days.
I wish I could spend my whole life learning about everything there is to learn. That I could understand every aspect of the human brain in psychology, and about the people, the forgotten ones in history. I want to understand the world. Can I see it? Greet it like a friend? Is that not what the human life is supposed to be? Is it not our purpose in this world to experience it?
It makes me restless to think about the future.
I hate capitalism. It makes me afraid of growing up.
