What was Blake's life outside the villa in your opinion?
That's a tricky one, as we know so little about her I feel like one can go wild with headcanons. I'll try to keep my headcanons "in character" for you though, based on how I interpret her character. 🤍
To me, it makes most sense for Blake to be or at least try to be an influencer of sorts. I'm not sure how much success she has, but she's hot so she's probably doing alright as the kind of influencer getting Boohoo and Fashionnova sponsorships, maybe some vitamin bears and Shein too. It keeps her afloat, but she's definitely someone craving a certain lifestyle and will do what it takes to get it (good for her honestly!).
If she has siblings, I think it's just one and that they're older. I wouldn't be surprised if it's an older brother, who does everything "right" and has left her the wild child of the family. At least she feels wild and cool, her parents are probably super supportive and understanding of her, to the point where she's used that to get them to give her what she wants (be it money or things). I think this is partially why she tries so hard to be all "I don't give a fuck" to others and has become so good at swaying people to give her what she wants, which made her able to persuade Lurik/Noah during CA but quickly left after that.
Other than that, I think she lives in a nice little flat with her best friend, both of whom are Love Island fans and influencers. I don't think she has a pet, or is interested in getting one. Hope that's helpful, anon!

LIKE A BIG SISTER SHOULD — WHEEZIE CAMERON
in which wheezie cameron finds that blood doesn’t make you family, love and affection does.
taglist | masterlist | 2.5k words | @pogueslandia ,
warning(s): food, she/her pronouns, ward slander, a little sarah slander but that’d include reading between the lines. why’d this make me want to make a series of reader and Wheezie being best friends.
Tumblr media
There's always been a heavy feeling of loneliness that rested upon the youngest cameron's shoulders, weighing her down as it seemed to pile over the years. Her siblings were always older, an age gap between them that even if it was shortened by a few years, their worlds would still be two different things. All three of them were in three different stages of life yet somehow it felt like Wheezie wasn't even there at times.
Throughout the entirety of her schooling career so far, everything had somehow been about Rafe and Sarah. Sarah was the perfect one; the paragon who could do no wrong. Even if Sarah tried to disobey, it'd be turned around to be made out as a minute mistake. She'd probably be able to get away with it a second time if she did it a different way. Maybe the same way.
Rafe was quite the opposite. The bastard child who needed a plentiful amount of attention in hopes he can be more like the paragon. With all this attention, his head only grew. It never gave him the space for growth. It minimized the space to stay exactly where he was for years on end.
This left Wheezie to be the ostracized sibling. She wasn't a social butterfly or a poster child like Sarah and she definitely wasn't a loner or the 'damaged goods' child like Rafe. She was just... average. With average grades and an average personality. Just average old Wheezie. She told herself this consistently, watching her father balance his attention between making sure Rafe stayed between the lines he'd drawn for him in a radius such as a dart board and allowing Sarah step out of them, even erasing some of the lines so she could walk on by them without a second thought.
But Wheezie was stuck in that tiny little circle in the middle, the bullseye as if scared to move out of those lines. The one place that was the hardest to pinpoint specifically by her father. But there was one thing Ward Cameron always said correct about his younger daughter. That he wouldn't be able to pin point his little dart of control into the middle of the board because she was misunderstood and misunderstood she was.
Though one person had been able to pick up on every single one of Wheezie's emotions.
Y/n Y/L/N was a pogue who had done tutoring on the side for a little extra money and when John B had recommended Y/n for help with Wheezie's homework, Ward was quick to say okay. He hardly even asked a thing about Y/n, just telling her to help Wheezie pass eighth grade and that was all. It was made very apparent to Y/n that was Wheezie was not as much of a priority to Ward as other things were.
Their first tutoring session, Wheezie was awfully dismissive. She didn't care for any of Y/n's efforts as they sat within the comfort of Wheezie's bedroom. She just wanted the entire hour to be over with the second she'd entered her room but Y/n was insistent, knowing that by the end of the school year she would have something instilled in Wheezie's brain. She just didn't know what that something was yet.
The second time they met, Y/n was more passive aggressive in hopes of breaking down the brick walls Wheezie had stored between her and everyone else in hopes of not disappointing them like the way she thought she'd disappointed her father. Y/n sat her down in her desk chair, swiveling her chair to her as she rested her hands on the younger girls shoulders. "You are going to have a really awkward couple of weeks if you and i don't become friends so no work today. We're playing 20 questions."
That night, Y/n learned a lot about Wheezie Cameron that she never thought she'd learned. Wheezie hated the color purple, she just painted her room that color because Sarah liked that color. Wheezie loved to paint and to draw, it was her favorite activity, she just rarely showed it bevause she hadn't believed in herself. Though, when she showed Y/n the canvas' that were shoved at the back of the closet, Y/n marveled at them. But Y/n's favorite fact, and the same one that almost made her hug Wheezie on the spot, was that she was never taught to swim and Y/n made her a promise that she would teach her.
As the weeks went by, Wheezie waiting anticipatingly for Y/n's beaten down, green ford bronco to pull up on the driveway and she'd leave the house with a giant smile on her face. It’d be early in the morning, a little less than an hour until school started, just like how Wheezie liked. She'd jump in the driver seat, embracing the smell of vanilla from the scented item hanging from the rear view mirror. She’d toss her bag to the back as Y/n would ruffle her hair, just like she had every morning. "And beloved was set in... late 1856!" Wheezie answered excitedly as Y/n drove down the final street towards her school after the two had gotten breakfast together.
"Perfect! You're gonna do so good on your test, Wheeze, I promise." Y/n told her ecstatically as she pulled into a parking space. Just before Wheezie could get out, Y/n held her upper arm just to gain her attention before she got out. "Tell Rose she doesn't have to get you after school. I'll leave school early and you and I are having a girls day. No studying, just me, you and a shit ton of sweets."
Wheezie smiled, she could feel the muscles in her jaw begin to hurt from how wide she had. She tilted her head to the side out of curiosity, eyeing the look of excitement on Y/n's face. "But why?"
Y/n shrugged, adjusting in her seat and fixing her rear view mirror. "Cause, you deserve it. I'm so proud of you, Little W." She told her, looking back towards the girl and seeing her smile slightly drop. "You okay?"
Wheezie couldn't remember a time where she was genuinely told that. Yeah, sure, Ward said it a few times but it'd be in a lousy tone before he'd wave her off, saying he was busy with whatever office work he had to attend to. Sarah may have said it a few times but it was rushed before she'd run after her friends with a quick goodbye to Wheeze, leaving her alone in the sand. It was never sincere. Not in the way Y/n had said it.
She rubbed her hands against her jean clad thighs with a sharp breath before nodding. “Yeah. I've just never really been told that before. Like—Like genuinely." She said, lowly, in hopes Y/n would understand and wouldn't push it.
Y/n had known Wheezie long enough to know her tells and avoiding eye contact was one of the biggest ones. So she didn't indulge further in the conversation, brushing it under the rug but knowing she'd have to go diving back in for that little tidbit later on. Instead she wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her into a tight hug from over the console. "I'll tell you i'm proud of you everyday if i have to." Y/n muttered before kissing the top of her head. "Now go, if you're late to first period, your dad will kill me." And Wheezie was able to leave the car with a smile on her face, already looking forward to the day planned later on.
Y/n was overall consistent, it was one thing Wheezie enjoyed knowing that when she made promises she tried to keep them as best as she could. Sometimes things slipped her mind but Wheezie could recognize that Y/n didn't forget a thing when it came to Wheezie. Like she made sure to engrave bits and pieces of her into her mind like a data chart. But it showed she cared and that was enough for Wheezie.
Y/n cared enough that when she entered her car after school, the smell of her favorite cinnabon's filled the car that made her look in the backseat, seeing a picnic basket. There wasn't a chance, right? You could only get them on the mainland. She turned her body swiftly towards the elder girl who sat with a smirk on her face. "You didn't?"
"I did. Second I left fourth period, got on a ferry just for you to have those overly sweet treats." Y/n said, tapping her nose with a 'boop'! "And I almost got stuck on the mainland because of it so you better enjoy the hell out of them."
"I will, I promise." Wheezie said dramatically as Y/n smiled, pulling out of the parking space to head down to the beach. Wheezie had said she didn't have a bathing suit, not prepared for the outing, though Y/n already said she had ransacked her room for clothes for after. Y/n was the only person allowed in Wheezie Cameron's room without Wheezie being there and the elder girl took pride in it.
As Y/n set up their small area for the few hours, she noticed Wheezie standing just where the water and the sand met. She kicked around the water with clear disinterest causing Y/n to huff, hands on her hips, before tossing off her hoodie to get in. The splash she'd made by pushing herself into the water made Wheezie jump, a laugh falling from the two's lips. "Come on." Y/n said, standing and holding her hands out to Wheezie.
"Y/n/n, I can't swim."
"Y/n/n I can't swim, well, obvi, i know that, little W. But, you have your amazing best friend to keep you afloat. I won't let you go, i swear." Y/n said, holding up her pinky.
"Swear?"
"On my life." She reassured with a trusting smile before Wheezie walked further in. When the water had gotten to her above her waist, it'd freaked her out a bit though Y/n talked her through it, coaxing her further in slowly. Wheezie was kept above the water as Y/n held her hands as the buoyancy was used to their advantage. "See, not as bad as you thought?"
Wheezie shook her head though still nervous. "Not as bad, not my thing though."
"Why don't we try actually swimming? I won't force you if you don't want to and we can get back to shore right now but maybe just try?" She asked as Wheezie had to think about it for a moment. She almost felt guilty, remembing just a few months ago when Sarah had asked her if she could teach her but she refused. Though maybe, just maybe, it was because of Y/n being a bit more trust worthy that Wheezie said yes this time.
It took a while, Wheezie was frightened by letting go even as Y/n would say she was okay. Wheezie would tighten her grip on her shoulders before trying again and again until she eventually got it. She finally was able to keep herself above the water without flailing, recognizing that she was okay. Y/n cheered as she watched, not caring for the stares of others around them. "See, dude? You just have to start applying yourself! You did it!"
"I did it!" Wheezie said as Y/n hugged her, the two laughing before Wheezie screamed making Y/n's laughter die fast. "Something touched me!"
"Wheeze, it was seaweed." Y/n said softly before turning and letting her place her hands on her shoulders. "Yeah let's get you out of here before a jellyfish gets you."
Wheezie widened her eyes. "Jellyfish?"
As the sun had began to set and people had packed up their things and left, Y/n and Wheezie stayed. Wheezie was on her fourth doughy treat, even though Y/n told her to slow down two treats ago. Towels were wrapped around each of their shoulders as they watched the pretty colors fade in to one another, a mixture of pink, blue and orange array of colors combining to make a cotton candy sky. Wheezie watched as Y/n got up, accepting a phone call from Ward, the only phone call she hadn't silenced since they'd left the car.
In the time she'd left, Wheezie took advantage of it to recognize how appreciative she was of all that Y/n was doing for her. She came in as a tutor and, to Wheezie, was to stay as a friend. As family. Wheezie was more then ecstatic to have someone who would be there to rant and rave about the other Cameron's, someone she could trust with her secrets and the contents of her always running brain. Someone who was just there.
"Hey, your father would like us back in thirty so we should leave in ten." She said coming back and sitting beside Wheezie as she caught sight of her face, the lack of the smile that was there previously concerning her. "Tell me what's wrong."
"Nothing, really. Just... I really enjoyed today, Y/n. It really lets me know you're not just here for like... like the money or something."
Y/n let out a scoff. "Are you kidding? I enjoy nothing more than watching you freak out over the existence of jellyfish." She joked as Wheezie pushed her to the side with a laugh. Y/n recovered, letting out a content sigh as she tossed an arm over Wheezie's shoulders. "You're stuck with me now, Wheezes. Can't wait to record you falling at your next soccer game."
Wheezie couldn't help the laugh that slipped past her lips, leaning into Y/n's embrace as her head rested against her clavicle. "And I'll be looking for you in the stands, Y/n/n."
Y/n and Wheezie had both found out something about the other that night. Wheezie found that she didn't want to be like Sarah and she was glad she wasn't like Rafe. She was content with her own little circle on the dart board but maybe she could take a bit after her newest role model. And Y/n found that she was able to instill several things into the youngers mind including To Kill a Mockingbird, Inca Civilizations, and that she now had a true and present big sister to look up to.

Beauty and Beasty 2.
Word Count: 3,368
Pairing: President!Bucky Barnes x Babysitter!BlackFem!OC
Warning: Swearing, Uptight Bucky.
Summary: This goes into Devora's back story a bit. When she comes home from picking the kids up from private school, James there waiting for them. She finally gets into contact with her best friend Alexis who is married to King Steve Rogers of Brooklyn. James makes way downstairs for a midnight snack to find her in the kitchen...
A/N: you guys love it so here is part 2.
Tumblr media
Devora Smith is the child of Deeva and Devon Smith. You shouldn't think too hard about how she got her name. The 22-year-old loves to cook. How she landed this job is a straightforward story to explain. Since she was 7, in her eyes, her dad was the best cook in the world. Devon owned a small restaurant that had enough attention to keep them afloat.
Devon always had Devora in the kitchen helping him cook; that's how she fell in love with cooking. Sadly, things happened, and her dad lost the restaurant due to the lack of money. Devora promised herself that she will make her dad proud by owning her own 5-star restaurant.
9 months ago, her best friend, Alexis, fell in love with King Steve Rogers of Brooklyn. They are now married and are expecting a child. Devora had complained to them many times that she needed a job to jumpstart her career. So when President James Buchanan Barnes of Romanian asked his best mate, King Steve, to help him find a babysitter. The king suggested Devora, and since it was last minute that he needed a babysitter. President Barnes hired her immediately.
"Hi, guys, how was school?" Devora questioned once the kids got in the Audi. While she drove, they were quiet, too quiet. "Uh, is anyone going to say anything?" No one responded so she stopped the car, putting it park on the side of the road. The babysitter gave Melanie her phone so she could be distracted by youtube. James doesn't allow the kids to use cell phones but do she does she care at the moment? No, and he isn't here to say anything.
Plus, Melanie gets fussy when she curses, so she doesn't do it around the kids unless she's really pissed off. "Roman, spill it." She sat Indian-style in the seat facing them. Devora knew that the 16-year-old boy couldn't hold anything from her. Unbeknownst to her, Roman saw Devora as his mother because she takes such good care of them.
He feels there is no reason to lie to her because she's such an understanding person and will always find a way to solve their problems. "This guy from my class constantly bullies me because of my hair and what I wear to school. Declan saw him shove me against the locker, so he punched him and they start to fight. Sophie saw what happened so she jumped in by jumping on his back, hitting his head from behind."
Before Devora could utter a word out, Declan sounded off."I had to defend him, Devora. He's my brother and I'm not going to let him get bullied on my watch. Roman doesn't mess with anyone and I wasn't going to let that guy continue to bother Roman."
Devora tries to speak again but Sophie continued their justification, "We're so sorry Devora. Don't be mad at us; we didn't get suspended..."
This time Devora did the cutting off."I'm not mad."
"...Or anything because of Father's status with the school." Sophie rambled out of nervousness then realized what she said. 'You're not mad?"
"I'm not. Want to know why?" She smiled ruffling Roman's hair causing him to smile. " Because you did what every big brother and sister are meant to do which is take up for your little sibling. Extra bonus points for beating his ass."
Melanie furrowed her eyebrow at Devora like a scolding parent. Everyone chuckled at her reaction. "Oops sorry, Melanie. Anywhoo you guys doing that proved to Roman that you'll always have his back. No matter what, you guys should always love each other. Never be in competition with one another, never judge, and never be jealous. Because at the end of the day you guys should always be able to depend on each other." The siblings looked at each other with a smile. Devora kissed each of their foreheads.
"I am so proud of you guys."
"Means a lot to hear that Devora. Thank you for being in our lives."Sophie hugged her neck. After their heartfelt moment, they were on the way home until Devora came up with a wonderful idea.
" How about you guys get a make-over?"
Roman perked up excitement, "Really? You would do that?"
"Duh you guys deserve it plus I might have the head chef's Mastercard." She winked at them through the rearview mirror. They all cheered in the backseat even though Melanie had no clue what was going on. Her phone ringed and Mel held the phone in the air, looking at the contact picture.
"Da-Da!"
"Don't answer it!"
------------------
As they walked into the mansion from their shopping spree engaged in a funny conversation, James stood in the foyer. The children stopped their chat, standing still as if they were soldiers. Devora adjusted Melanie on her hip still holding hands with Declan, not phased by him.
"Children."
"Father."
"Where are there so many bags? Who do they belong to cause I am sure that I told you 3 that you aren't allowed to do your own shopping? I have someone to pick out your clothes precisely like how I want them. Did I not?" James dictated crossing his arms over his chest, holding a scowl on his face. That was new information to Devora out of her 7 months of being there. What was so wrong with them picking out their own clothes? Their teenagers for god's sake.
"Are you serious right now?"
James's blue eyes focused on her, not losing the hardened expression. "Serious as a heart attack."
Devora narrowed her eyes at him, "Well I took the kids-" Declan squeezed her hand, indicating to lie. "To get some ice cream to celebrate Sophie for passing this semester. Those bags are mine and that's all the explanation you're going to get."
His lip drew back in a snarl, "You live my house! Under my rules! Whatever you bring in here is my business. Why don't you ever just shut up sometimes and get with the program that I am in charge."
"That's what you think, "Devora mumbled rolling her eyes. James walked closer to her. "What did you just say?"
"Father, can we please go to our room now?" Sophie said while James and Devora never broke eye contact. "Yes."
Declan grabbed a sleeping Melanie from her arms and the children went upstairs. When they were out of earshot, Devora stepped to him. "Stop being so strict; they're just kids."
"They have to learn to deal with it; we have to uphold a perfect image." His tall frame hung over hers. The sexual tension between them was getting thick. Devora's eyes adverted between his plumped lips that looked so soft and his eyes. Trying to fight the urge to smash her lips onto his, the babysitter for once was lost for words.
James came to Devora's face; she could feel his breath fan against it. She gave up trying to look him in the eyes instead she stared at his lips, biting her own. He smirked, knowing that she was hooked. He pulled back taking her out of her sex-filled fantasy trace. James walked away leaving Devora's core throbbing for pleasure.
"Fuck..."
-------------
"Psst! Devora!" She heard when she walked past one of the kid's bedroom. The dark skin turned around to see who was calling.
"Declan?"
His head peeked from the door."Yes, I need your help."
She walked closer to the door. "What is it?" Declan fully stepped out of the room. He pulled out the most beautiful necklace from his pocket.
"I bought this for a girl that I'm in love with. The only problem is, she lives in the village, and Father prohibits going to the village."
"So what does this have to do with me? You need me to cover for you while you gone?"
"Well it's the weekend and I normally go see her during first period but I cant' wait until Monday. The evening guard will be out but he should be sleeping like right."Declan checked his watch."Now. Can you come with me to go see her?"
"Come with you? Declan, your father already hates my guts."
"Please Devora? I really love her."
Vora saw that he was really devoted to seeing this girl. She just wants to see him happy, it makes her feel content. "Fine Declan, I'll go."
------------------
Devora plopped in her bed face first. Helping Declan sneak out and making sure both of them weren't caught was tiresome but worth it. Rose is her name and she was the sweetest. Her family was the best, they treated them like family not people with royal status.
Rose's mother gave her some cheese that she made by hand. What makes it so special because it was so expensive in the states. Devora already had made a plan to make mac & cheese after a shower.
Her mac book ringed from the edge of the bed causing the tired 22-year-old to groan. Devora smacked against the keyboard hoping it would answer the call.
"Devoraa!!! BESTIE!"
Vora swiftly lifts up seeing her best friend's face in the camera.
"BESTIEEE!"
"I haven't talked to you in so damn long! How is going over at Mr. meanie's mansion?"
"it amazing here, excluding him. I don't want to talk about me, let's talk about you! How's Steve and the baby?"
Steve's face popped in the camera, drenched in water, "HI BESTIEEE!"
"HI BESTIEEEE, I miss you guysss!"
"We miss you too. and the baby's going fine."Alexis propped the phone up showing her stomach. Devora gushed at her 8-month pregnant belly.
"AWEEEE. I CAN'T WAIT TO TOUCH IT!"
"Me... and she... Steve...June..."
"Alexis your wifi is ass. Y'all live in a rich castle but have poor wifi. How does that work??" She didn't respond but flips the camera showing the outside-filled endless activities. From bouncy houses to water guns, to little kids running around with bubbles plus a couple of workers enjoying themselves.
"I love you bestie! I have to go! BYEEE"
"I lo-"The phone call hung up causing Devora to let out a sad sigh. The kids were always fun to be around but when she was herself, it's so boring. The mansion was boring. Vora was feeling homesick from them. "-ove you too."
After her shower, Devora was in the kitchen making from scratch mac and cheese. "Add a little bit of this.." She mumbled to her self dumping a whole measuring cup of cheese on top of the already cheesy pasta. Her tongue poked out a bit while she spread the cheese across the pan.
"I didn't know you did that when you're focused." James's deep voice said from the side of her. She glanced at him for a second then return her gaze at the dish.
"Because your head is always stuck up your ass."
James took a deep sigh, "Could you just stop with the smartness and backtalk for one damn minute." She bent over placing the pan in the oven feeling his eyes on her ass.
"Stop being so mean and I'll stop. Now quit looking at my ass, I'm trying to cook."
As James walked past her, his huge hand smacks against her ass cheek roughly. Devora quickly stands up clutching her now throbbing cheek."Ow!"
"No, I'm good. Thanks for the suggestion though." He winked opening the refrigerator door. "What are you doing up? It's late."
"Since you just have to be in my business.." Vora leaned against the counter. James took a sip of his juice, "Your business is my business, I thought I made that clear."
"Whatever, anyhow I got some good cheese from R-..." Devora mentally cursed at how she almost gave Declan's secret away. Bucky raised an eyebrow which made her nervous thinking he caught on. "Rome. Yeah, Rome. Alexis and Steve sent it in as a gift because it's so expensive in the states."
James sat the cup down, coming closer to her."Is that so?"
Devora cleared her throat. 'Damn I talk too much. She thought to herself. "That is so Mister." James did that hovering thing like earlier but this she wasn't intimated.
"Do I make you nervous?"
She giggles mushing his face away from hers." Mr. President get away from me."
He laughs leaning against the counter beside her. He laughed like literally laughed. Devora looked at him like he grew three heads. He looked at her confused.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
"You laughed. I need to pinch myself to wake up to see if I'm dreaming."
"So you dream about me?"
"No so don't flatter yourself, mister president."
"So you do."
"No now hush because you disturbing the peace and quiet I had in here while I cooked." Devora implied while picking up trash she had left on the counter. Surprisingly James started to help her clean up.
"You didn't have to Mr.President."
"I want to and quit calling me Mr.President. It feels like you're teasing me every time you say it."
"I mean what else am I supposed to say? I don't know your name and I didn't bother to ask the kids because I simply didn't care what it was."
James placed a hand on his chest, "Ouch why you gotta be so harsh?"
"I'm not being harsh sir, just being real with you. If you don't like it then find another babysitter."Devora shrugged throwing away some trash from the counter. James grabbed her hand pulling Vora to his chest.
"I don't want another one, having you is perfect."
Devora tried to keep the smile from forming on her face but what he said made her feel special. She couldn't help it and smiled anyway. "You have a smooth way with words. You flirt."
She pulled back, picking up the last of the trash. "I can't help it when you're always looking so good." James compliment watching her every move. It got quiet for a minute because she didn't know what to say.
Devora hoped that the niceness would stay and not disappear overnight. Being nice really suited him. The timer went off signaling the macaroni was finished.
"My name is James."
She pulled the pan out of the oven"Hmm?"
"My name is James Buchanan Barnes but you can call me Bucky." He watched her sit the pan on top of the stove. She reached up to grab some plates but struggled a bit. Bucky came from behind, grabbing the plate with ease. "You know I can get the maids to come do this for us. "
She shook her head, taking the plates out of his hands. "That's uncalled for when we been in here the whole time. My mom taught me to do it myself and not be lazy about anything and to reply to what you said. Your name fits you, I like it." She dipped herself a spoonful of macaroni. "Bucky do you want some?"
Bucky was mesmerized by the way his name flowed from her lips, "Yeah I want some." She beamed at the fact he wanted to try her food. She scooped him up some placing it on another plate. "Your mother sounds like a wise and good woman."
"She is. That one time when my Dad and I cooked random dishes in the kitchen, my mom got so mad at us when we didn't clean up behind ourselves. She told me, "Always clean after yourself. Never expect someone to do it for you. You are not a lazy woman."
"Are they still alive?"
She giggled as they both sat down at the island. "Yes, Bucky they are still alive. My parents are enjoying their time with me being away since I moved out to come here."
"You lived with your parents before you came here?"
"Bucky we can talk about some other time okay? I want to eat before my food gets cold." Devora pointed at the food, Bucky sigh wanting to know more about her but did what she asked. "Fine, I'll wait until another time."
He picked up the fork but she took it out of his hand. He looked at her puzzled, "How am I suppose to eat?"
"Let me feed you the first bite."
The way Devora looked at Bucky aroused him so much. Her boldness caught him completely off guard."Okay..."
"Crap I didn't mean to weird you out. Your beard hair is so perfect and I don't want you to mess it up by getting cheese on it."
Bucky crinkled his nose in happiness."Oh, you like my beard?"
"Yes, I admit. I love it." She dipped his fork in the mac and cheese. It was still hot so Devora blew on it a bit. Bucky pressed his lips together watching her's curve into an o-shape. Everything about her excited him. Vora watched him eat the food from the fork while her soft hand was placed under his chin.
The macaroni tasted like heaven in his mouth, Bucky let out a little groan while he chewed. Devora looked at him in worry.
"What? What is it? Is it nasty?"
Bucky shook his head with a smile, "No this is really good. You are an excellent cook."
"Thank you, means a lot coming from your mean ass."
"I'm not mean."
"Sure."
"All these amazing flavors hitting my mouth at once, what is that?"
"It's seasoning Bucky..."
"What is that?" He looked at her like a lost little kid. Devora snickered sitting down her fork. "It's all those 'amazing flavors that are hitting your mouth at once' "
"Ha Ha Ha you're so funny."
"Hehehe you think so? I'd say I'm pretty hilarious."
The two laughed at her little joke. It was a comfortable silence after their chuckling. Bucky was done eating while Devora finished up.
"Do my kids hate me?"
His sudden outburst baffled her."Huh?"
"Do my kids hate me as their father?"
She wiped her mouth with a napkin, "No they love you. It's just you're not letting them enjoy their childhood. I know about the image to uphold but kids will be kids. They deserve all the love and care from you. Bucky you're going to miss them when they grow up and leave the nest."
Bucky ran his hand through his hair."When my ex-wife left, it was hard on me and I just felt like they blamed me for her leaving. I'm just doing them how my father did me. I turned out just fine-"
"Buchanan you and your children are two different people. You are their parent, not your dad so you raise them differently. They do not blame you for anything. Melanie is 2 years old and knows her alphabet all the way up to the letter L. Declan wants to be better at building things. Roman wants to be a famous basketball player to bring recognition to Romania. Sophie wants to be everything, she such a smart little girl. Bucky it's sad that I know all of that and you only know their birthday. I can only do so much until they need their dad. You can be a parent that cares but don't be so strict. Let them experience things."
Bucky looked at Devora while she talked about his children. Her eyes twinkled with affection as she relays information about them. That's what hooked him on her line, she genuinely cared about the kids. "I'm going to do better, I'm going to make sure from now on they're happy."
"Don't just shower them with gifts, do that plus actually hanging out with them when you're not busy. Make time for them okay?"
"Okay I will, I'm going to make it up to them."
Devora yawned a bit, "I'm tired so I'm going to head to be. I had a great time being down here with you." She got up from the chair, placing both their dirty dish in the sink then walked towards the door.
He got up following her."Devora."
She stopped turning around to face him. "Yes, Bucky?"
"Tomorrow can I take you to my favorite spot? It could be like a picnic."
"Okay, that sounds nice. Should I make the snacks?"
Bucky smiled."Yes please."
Devora gave him a smile back.
"Anything for you."

Finished watching 'Sweet Magnolia's' for like the third time, and I cannot WAIT for season 2
Until then, I wanted to speculate who I think might be the mystery person in the last episode
(spoilers from here on out)
Ty
i think unlikely, most people seem to. Mostly because, what drama does it really add? One kid from their tribe is enough to force some drama in the Townsend household.
Unless Ty hurt his 'golden arm' and it effected him playing basketball. He would blame and hate Kyle for it. Could cause a good rift?
The only other thing I wonder about it being Ty, was what of the accident was caused by Ty trying to take control of the wheel from Kyle? What if the accident was technically Ty's fault? Ty would ofc feel awful. Might cause some drama.
Nellie
Seems to be the favourite from what I've seen, mostly because she was wearing trainers and so could catch up easier. I could see it, imagine Mary Vaughan is she blamed Maddie for this? However, there's already drama between the sweet Magnolia's and Mary Vaughan, and it's likely to continue even without that fuss.
The only other thing I thought was maybe if Nellie didn't survive and it was a whole drama for Kyle, who would off course be heartbroken and feel so guilty.
On the other hand, what if both their children being in danger opened up a way for Mary Vaughan and Maddie to bond? Make friends maybe, understand each other better.
And off course, it would create more drama between Jackson and Ty. Maybe in a bad way, maybe Jackson also blames Ty just cos he's a Townsend.
Maybe they could have drama in a good way. They've both got little siblings who are effected, and as someone who's watched my parents grieve for a child, it can be lonely, maybe Jackson and Ty are able to band together and be there for each other and help each other through that intensely pressured time and come out the other side friends?
((Not really relevant, but what if because ofc Annie is very involved too, her and Jackson bond and become more than friends? What if Annie is also angry at Ty for leaving the keys in the car or pushing Kyle or whatever, and so leans away from Ty, and ends up kind of leaning towards Jackson? Cos like, the drama! Mary Vaughan could hate it just cos it's Dana Sue's daughter! Ty watching Jackson and Annie together could make him feel differently towards Annie! Idk, I doubt this is the direct it's going in, but I think it'd kind of be funny, maybe we'd get to see a cool like character arc for Jackson))
Annie
I think this might be most likely. I could see the writers making drama between Maddie and Dana Sue because Dana Sue blamed Maddie and blah blah blah. I hope they don't do that, but it's the kind of annoying, needless drama we often get given (even though for me at least, id be happier to see mums banding together to support each other, like we've seen so much of in s01!)
Also, with her Dad being back, it could create drama between Dana Sue and Ron maybe getting back together? (however, if this same storyline is happening with Bill and Maddie, I doubt it, maybe it could help Dana Sue forgive Ron tho?)
Drama with medical expenses? Just with Dana Sue ending s01 with a bit of financial difficulty, what if she can't pay for Annie's hopstial bills? That could effect the restaurant and the spa - I'm not very good with business stuff, but what if they had to do something to keep the spa afloat? Like sell of shares, or bring in someone new with their own big ideas ect?
It would also create drama with Ty - what if he realises how he really feels about Annie? What if he changes his tune? What if Ty is angry with Kyle? He was angry when Kyle not appearing meant Annie had to do Kyle's part in the mock trial thing, how much more upset would he be if Kyle had not only stolen and wrecked his car, but also put Annie in danger too?
Also, CeCe, I don't know if she's guaranteed to be returning in s02 but I can't see why she wouldn't, but she wasn't the nicest to Annie. What if she feels bad? What if Ty fights his feelings and she realises his feelings and part of her character arc is her eventually pushing him towards Annie?
However, in the books, Annie had a eating disorder at one point, so maybe even if she's not in the accident, the stress of it could bring on the eating disorder, and again, she has her dad home too, maybe battling that helps her mum and dad reconnect?
Someone else??
I know it doesn't make much sense because... Why wouldn't they force Kyle to let them drive? But hear me out -
What if someone else stopped Kyle and got in the car?
My two top contenders would be Noreen and Cal. What if they stopped him at some point, he was upset enough he wouldn't let them drive, they got in the car hoping to be able to talk him down
If it were Cal, it could either draw him and Maddie together, or further apart.
Noreen, well there would HAVE to be complications with the baby, because this is a cheesy american show (in a good way), maybe Bill convinces her to come back to him this way? And Kyle really liked and trusted Noreen, so it'd make sense he'd let her in the car
We haven't even got a release date yet, I just want to KNOW ALREADY!!!!!
