Oh my g*d I can't take Court of Owls seriously ever again. The evil group of owls, lead by the Grand Duke / Grandmaster, is flooding the farm / controlling Gotham. There is a cute young boy protagonist whom they intend to turn into a creature with inhuman eyes and very sharp claws (Dick Grayson: escapes becoming a Talon to deal with the owls like a decade and a half later / Edmond: spends most of the movie as a kitten). The owls are defeated by a buff guy the little boy admires who is considered vital to the farm / Gotham.

This goddamn wonderful bitch helped me understand my own gender identity.

Let me explain.

Back when I was a teen, messaging I got was something like:

At that point in my life, didn't know I was autistic, masking REALLY f&cking hard, so of course I wanna fit in. I hear people say that X is what "all" teen boys do? Okay yeah sure I am normal teen boy I do normal thing too.

Rouge is, in my opinion, designed to be "conventionally sexy". She's the "ideal" or all that cultural BS.

So I see "conventionally sexy cartoon lady" (Rouge), and couple that with "yes I have normal teen boy brain"-masking, and out of the thought oven pops:

One of my biggest problems in art is figuring out how a character's color palette should change in different lighting.

I have a character who mainly wears red, but is standing in blue lighting. Do their red clothes turn purple in the light? Does their skin turn blue in the light? And how severe should the changes be? What about their eyes? Do their eyes change color under different lighting conditions?

Just realised that dating someone who's about 17 years older than me does not only mean, that given we stay together (which I hope), that I am very likely going to witness my partner die in my lifetime but also gonna spend my own old age alone (cause I'm not having kids either). the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT????
