actual serious question that’s bothered me for YEARS; why are LA and New York City so popular for premieres & celebrities? like who decided that those cities would be the hot spots for famous people?

#ally speaks #this has bothered me for ages you guys have no idea #one thing i rlly wanna see is someone famous either going to a small town for something or going to a city in the us that's not LA or NY #*cough cough* boston so i can go #i don't mind traveling if i were to go somewhere like LA or NYC but traveling can be expensive between transportation and hotels and shit #also do ppl in LA know how lucky they are they literally have so many premieres that they could go to or cool people they could see #and to my knowledge they dont really have to work out expenses or where they're staying #must be nice #(also no shade to anyone in LA im genuinely saying that it must be nice to be able to do that bc that's something i wanna do but cant)
