While I was munching on some td fanfictions (surprisingly good), I noticed that the majority alenoah ones were written not earlier than the past 2 years. Not only that but on Ao3 they took the top 3 places with the most kudos.
I have so many questions. What happened?

CANARIES, NIGHT SHIFT AND THE MAGNUS PROTOCOL (tma/tmagp/arg spoilers)
Along with everyone else in the fandom, I'm also going FERAL after these new ep so excuse this RANT (this is my way of coping with the brain worms, enjoy ;).
Statement begins.
So what's special about the RedCanary story?
Well, apart from it being a direct reference to the original Magnus Institute (at least the one in this new universe), it's also incredibly fascinating as a narrative tool.
For those who are unaware of their history, miners used to employ canaries in cages while they worked as safety systems. The bird's complexion made them specially sensible to gas leaks which killed them instantly. When a canary stoped singing in the middle of the shift, the workers knew that toxic gas was leaking and had enough time to get out of the mines alive before it got to them.
Tumblr media
Now why is that relavant to us? Well, the theme of canaries in cages inside mines could be easily applied to the og tma characters. All of them were contained in cages (that is the Magnus Institute) and placed close enough to danger (in their case the paranormal) that only they were aware of its existence while the rest of humanity remained ignorant. That is until the events of the apocalypse when the gas metaphorically leaks everywhere and all humanity is doomed.
However, this proximity to the fears ALWAYS results in the death of the canaries that stayed inside the mines (no i will never get over my blorbos being killed). Everyone involved with the institution dies EXCEPT from Melanie, Georgie and Basira. That is, the only three canaries that actively escaped their cages before the toxic gas got to them.
Therefore, the use of this metaphor at the start of the ep (especially from none other than the voice of Jon Sims, the character who has walked down the path of learning about the entities) is a warning to Sam against investigating the paranormal.
The statement is encountered by Sam because he, above all other characters, is the one who is most likely to end up like Jon and the others. The species of Red Canaries is human breed, therefore Sam being a result of experimentation within The Magnus Institute means he was RAISED to be a canary. Thus, there is an inherent irony on the warning, for it is what PUSHES him to develop an interest on the statements and leads him closer to his tragic destiny.
Another proof that links canaries and the workers at O.I.A.R. is the nature of their habitat. I haven't seen a lot of people talking about it, but there are multiple references in the first and second ep of them working the nightshift. Now, why would a filing job be carried out exclusively at night? (THERE ARE SO MANY REFERENCES TO IT BEING A NIGHTSHIFT I AM NOT KIDDING)
Tumblr media
This one is specially interesting because it's the first thing we hear in the podcast. Also Teddy metaphorically being the canary that leaves the mines and the darkness to escape into the outside world and the sun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Multiple references to it being just the FIRST night of an eternity of nights. (cosmic horror much?)
Tumblr media
In any case, there is a parallel between darkness of night and the darkness inside the mines. (or even the entity of the dark, one of the oldest alongside the hunt and the end). I see what you're doing Jonny Sims....
SO YEAH IN CONCLUSION
canaries = characters close to danger (AWARE OF THE ENTITIES)
the miners = the rest of humanity (UNAWARE OF THE ENTITIES)
cages = The Magnus institute/O.I.A.R (TRAPS the canaries)
the fears = toxic gas (HARMS the canaries and miners)
darkness in the mines = the night shift
Statement ends.
*stands in front of a white board with red string linking everything, and the dark scribbled in black marker in the center* I HOPED YOU ENJOYED THIS RANT *tries to fix my disheveled hair that i messed up during the presentation* I AM SO NORMAL ABOUT TMA AND TMAGP Please feel free to discuss in the comments, I NEED THEORIES, I NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS WITH SOMEONE!!!

pondering how the Watcher even had access to the federation technology. did it use to work with them? did ElQ gave the Watcher access? is it a tech nerd? if the Watcher is connected to the shadow virus, did it use the virus as a hacking thing? perhaps it's an artificial intelliegence fungus??

So, I realized that when watching Rock Bottom again, Starscream was literally hiding food, and because Megatron seems to hates the poor guy's guts, and beats him a lot, especially in tfp, so was Starscream hiding food away in case Megatron starved him?

Hi
So, I've been in the lmk fandom for a while and I've noticed no one's addresed this
We know this one scene, right?
Tumblr media
Well, I was casually rewatching lmk as one does, and I noticed the concerned look Macaque has right here. After Wukong rushed in and then there was a whole explosion and then the camera just cuts to Macaque and Mei and-
Tumblr media
Why does he look like that? Mei is more like trying to stay put and not get blowm into bits so she's more like fustrated and focused, and meanwhile Macaque is: 😟😵‍💫😦
What are you concerned about, Macaque? Wukong? MK? The fact that you'll like, die again or something? Idk guys, it's just so weird to me, why isn't his face like Mei's, concentrated but more like terrified/concerned. I can't get it out of my head help me I need answers

Tell me what you think because I realised this shit as I was falling asleep and I now I can't go unless I get it out there:
Does the colour scheme of the background sort of look like the colour scheme of the houses and buildings on Pabu?
Tumblr media
So, theory: Cid didn't sound...normal? the last time she contacted the guys and it's actually because the empire has gotten hold of her to try to bait the bad batch into coming into contact with her again. Well, that didn't work, so Cid suggests contacting Echo alone and tells him about Cross needing help (she knows the group has split) and that checks the "Cid is going to betray them" checkbox. Echo and Rex fall for it, contact the rest of the batch because they are going to need as much help as they can get in infiltrating Tantiss, and head to Pabu to rendezvous. That's where we get the long awaited Echo and Omega reunion. The group head to Tantiss, get Crosshair out, but in the process Omega is captured. They are forced to leave her to save injured/drugged/traumatised/comatose Cross and themselves. We open season 3 on Omega being experimented on or being mistreated to get Nala Se to cooperate.

Okay so please Good Omens fandom follow me for a minute.
@dumbacesomething and I were watching ep.3 s1 (again coz we love pain) and I noticed that around minute 17:22, when Aziraphale throws Crowley's "holy water" piece of paper in the pond, it sets on fire.
We haven't really seen anyone talk about this and we don't really have any solid theory of our own but were wondering if anyone else noticed and what you think about it.
Personally we think either Aziraphale sets it on fire to highlight his decision not to help Crowley or Crowley does it to delete every trace of that request not to get in trouble with heaven or especially hell (if he was already thinking about defending himself from hell with the holy water then it's more of a threat to hell rather than heaven).

Is it possible for two people to share a palisman? What would happen if two people carved together and had the same wish? Would they share the connection? Caleb and Evelyn because of their love for birds decided to carve a palisman and the result was Flapjack? Is that why Flapjack is so close to both of them and was so depressed by the death of Caleb, one of his owners? Is that why both Evelyn and Caleb have the same number of clues that Flapjack belonged to them? Is that why Flapjack appears in the history book illustrations alongside Caleb and on the Halloween trip with Evelyn? Is that why both Hunter (as Caleb's grimwalker) and Evelyn share gold as a magical color? Does Belos hate it because besides being Caleb's introduction to magic, it's a symbol of his love for Evelyn? Is that why Belos associates Flapjack with both? A non-extreme bisexual puritanical Brit, a wild-haired pansexual sexy witch, and a palisman named after a 16th-century British dessert walked into a portal? Is that why Flapjack shares Evelyn's color palette and Caleb's eye color? Could it be that Evelyn saw that Gravesfield's less extreme and more sane human liked to carve and said "wow, I'm going to give this piece of palistrom wood to that guy who says wotah instead of water" and BOOM! Flapjack was born? So do we owe all the events of the series to a couple of bird watchers who created one like a couple adopting a dog? The biggest domino effect in the history of modern animation? After Caleb's death, Flapjack went into exile, cutting ties with Evelyn because she had failed to protect one of her owners and did not want to suffer the same fate with her, and that is why the Clawthorne family, like Eda, they don't recognize Flapjack? Is that why Flapjack doesn't like to talk about his past? Is that why Flapjack is so homesick for Caleb but not Evelyn? Did Caleb and Evelyn set up hours so they could live with Flapjack in case they got separated? One week he stayed with Caleb in the human realm and that's why he was so familiar with the Wittebane house, while on weekends with Evelyn in the Boiling Isles, and they exchanged successively? LET ME GO YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME WITH THE DOUBT SOMEONE ASK DANA
In any case, it could be real and Flapjack belonged to both of them, maybe Evelyn's wish was to find her future, and she found it at Caleb's side, and Caleb's wish was to find a better future, and he found it in the Islands, the magic, the same Flapjack and Evelyn *tears*

Excuse me but what the fuck
Again I'm too dumb to fix my own problems so here's another question about The Inheritance Cycle
Well, I was still thinking about the death of Jarnünvosk and I assure you it is very strange.
It is specifically related that Jarnünvosk was killed by "a stray arrow" which struck her in the heart. The arrow had been shot in the chaos of the fray and belonged to an Urgal band.
Literally, how did she die?? WHERE were the magic protections?? I officially refuse to believe that Jarnünvosk, a dragon trained for nine years during the Golden Age of the Riders and partner of a boy prodigy, didn't have magical protections from something so simple like an arrow.
If you recall, a very similar thing happened to Eragon and Saphira. I don't remember in which city unfortunately, but at one point, during an attack by the Varden, a knight comes out of the walls of the city and throws the Dauthdaert at the heart of Saphira. In that case, it was understandable that Saphira would be injured: for those who don't remember, the Dauthdaert spear is a very rare Elven-crafted weapon that can pierce any magical protection.
But that stray Urgal arrow? Firstly, it is not even specified if such an arrow was enchanted, and secondly, I doubt it was that well made, as Urgals tend to live with primitive weapons.
What's more, Saphira was healed through the mastery of several elven powerful wizards- Eragon would not be able to heal her.
But an ARROW, damnit?? Galbatorix was one of the most prodigious Riders and he didn't have the knowledge to remove that wooden arrow?
Saphira and Eragon are constantly hit by arrows in battle but they are simply deflected by the magic.
Honestly, the idea that underlying the death of Jarnünvosk there was a plot much bigger than a simple Urgal ambush intrigues me more and more.

Y'all noticed every time Lila is in a war or alliance with someone that is of big significance in the end card she and the other person are in the opposite corners and they are always visually separated from the rest of the card:
Like in Chameleon when she and Marinette had their first big fight that officially made them enemies for life:
Tumblr media
Or in Oni-Chan when Lila and Gabriel formed alliance:
Tumblr media
In case y'all wondering why I'm so suspicious of Multiplication end card because I wanna know what the fuk happened off screen and why do Lila and Félix look like they're about to let a hungry dog in someone's chicken coop:

Hey, uh, question for the lmk fandom, spoilers for Seasons 3 & 4:
What happens to the Samadhi Fire???
We never see Mei use it again, and judging by Shifu Subodhi's line in their training montage thing (cannot remember the episode, refuse to check) that he says something along the lines of "seeing as you once weilded the Samadhi Fire..." so I'm assuming that means she doesn't have it anymore.
So then did Red Son get it back? Did they reseal it back into the four rings?
I NEED ANSWERS!
