NYX ULRIC FOR MOST FUCKABLE CAMPAIGN: Day 3
Tumblr media
Woe, I be upon ye, with a lovingly crafted, academically cited argument as to why Nyx Ulric is more fuckable than Biggs FF7 for the @most-fuckable-ff-man poll. (Listen, Sephiroth is just going to win the trophy in the end because Final Fantasy fans are basic, can we at least knock out the rest of FF7 and give the other games a chance?) I have provided compelling evidence for most cases, please do your due diligence as a free thinking tumblrina and click through the links. It is my firm stance that, if presented in his full context, you will find that Nyx Ulric is indeed more fuckable than the opposing candidate.
VOTE NYX!

I noticed people creating such descriptions on Tumblr, I assumed that I could do the same so that the people who visit my blog would be less confused about what they're seeing here. After all, I'm really open to communication, but it's probably better if you know what to expect from me:)
So, who the h am I?
> Obviously, Ohiko Amok is not my real name. Not only do I have Eastern European origins, nobody can have a surname which stands for an aggressive dissociative behavioral syndrome (i guess).
I don't want to go by my real name on the internet unless it comes up in conversation with my mutuals.
> I'm a person of many professions: (1) personal tutor teaching adults with dyslexia, adhd, Asperger's etc.; to speak English (2) Marketing professional; (3) Graphic designer; (4) Apparently, I become an HR manager as well???
Sometimes I post some funny observations connected with my professional background, and even though some of them might seem tiny bit salty, I love my occupations wholeheartedly (except for some episodes of working with people, people are truly annoying sometimes).
> I have lots of hobbies; I like cooking (I'll gladly exchange recipes with anyone interested in mine), I like painting and drawing (both digitally and traditionally), I do yoga, I like reading (and sometimes even writing) and I like learning about skin issues (lol, I even have a certificate that I finished a course teaching about acne and how to properly deal with it xd). I also play a number of very simple computer games and enjoy board games, but I wouldn't call myself an enthusiast of neither. What I do adore is music - I'm the only person in my family who haven't had any musical trainings in the past, but being a daughter of a choir singer and a guy whose friends call him "Orchestra" for playing multiple instruments, together with being a sister of a sound designer and a former rock band frontman, I do have a strong appreciation for music. My taste in music is very vast and it'll be difficult to limit it to one genre or a group of artists, but I can easily name some of the most influential performers for me: Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Leonard Cohen, Dusty Springfield, Judy Garland, Fleetwood Mac, Czesław Niemen, Marek Grechuta, Volodymyr Ivasyuk, Okean Elzy, Skryabin..
I would love to bond over music with anyone with similar tastes <3
I also absolutely ADORE cats, they are my "spirit animals", so they are going to appear in my blog sometimes.
> I do not identify myself through pronouns, sexuality, belonging to a certain movement. I think all of those labels are secondary and often limit person to a certain degree. Biologically, I'm a woman. I'm bisexual, but I do not consider myself to be a part of LGBTQ community. I'm not religious. I'm not a feminist of any kind. I have my own strong ideas developed through the years living in a certain context, my own preferences and worldview, but I don't want to label them in any way, as it seems redundant.
> I come from Poland<3 If at some point you might get confused by my posts' being inspired by both Polish and Ukrainian popular culture and historical background, it's because I was born in Ukraine (albeit in a Polish family) and feel a strong connection and love to both countries.
> Since I've started to post on Tumblr regularly, I very often get some horny messages (i'm talking about real people, not porn bots), so here's one bit of information which I feel obliged to add to my account description: I'm currently engaged and I'm not looking for any relationships aside from friendly ones
> I don't reply to messages in russian
Cheers, if you've managed to read this whole post, I hope you'll enjoy the content I post on this account<3 Feel free to ask any questions that might come to your mind, I really like talking xd

Oh wait, same sender again...
I just remembered another psych-out that I've become over-familiar with:
"When we finally over-throw the patriarchy, then women can be happy and live freely!"
Nevermind that free is often a state of mind. A person can be free in body, but shackled in spirit and mind. A person can also be shackled in the flesh, but free-spirited.
I feel like this particular psych-out actually contributes to the transtrender psych-out. People get so tired of 'waiting for the patriarchy to crumble'.... that they just try to deal with this truly-fucking-imaginary obstacle in a different way.
Don't get me wrong... sometimes women get shit for stupid fucking reasons, but at least in America... women are free in the law. (Other than the dumb fuckin recent overturn, but I don't recognize that.) I just really feel like the way that a lot of feminist bloggers on tumblr express themselves... is with a lot of despair and cynicism. The problem is not with the act of sharing the statistics of violence and discrimination.
The thing I have a problem with is how they 'frame' it. I remember that it used to be common tell little girls that they were strong, and capable of handling anything that life throws at them if they believe in themselves and work hard. At least, that it's better than doing nothing and falling into atrophy.
I think actually, you wrote about this sort of stuff, and I really, really enjoyed that.
If I looked at those statistics alone, I would see a challenge.
But looking at it with added tumblr-feminist commentary is like..... I think they are trying to prove 'how bad they have it' to men (or conservatives). They're not thinking about the effect their words might have on other women (or women of different dispositions). I just don't like all this 'despairing in attempt to be taken seriously'.
When I think about that behaviour, it makes me want to tell someone who is doing that: "Hey, if someone isn't going to take you seriously the first few times, they aren't worth groveling for. Stop asking them to care about you, and just live your own life! It's yours! No one else can make you live it a certain way! You have to choose to comply!"
I don't know, I feel disconnected from this strain of 'underground women's culture'. It's something from the past, from when women were considered unequal to men. I can put forth my own opinions like a big boy. I don't know, I feel like, in the women's world... I'm living in 3000 AD, and these types of women are still living in 1805 AD. It's probably a cultural thing, because most of these women were probably raised in religious families (which tend to have stronger gendered expectations). I just feel like they'd resent me for not having to go through the pain that they did... which is tragic, because feminism is supposed to be uplifting women. Instead, these types of people use it to tear other people down. Then at least.. we're all living in shitty ruins. Ha ha!
I find it kind of depressing how many times I've seen this type of feminist get this critique, and they turn around and accuse the critic of either being A MAN (thus unable to COMPREHEND the intricate inner-workings of a woman's mind. [HOW.... OLD-FASHIONED!]), or of just not reading enough of their literature, or not being exposed to the right stuff.... or not 'having the spirit of women's liberation'. "Hey! Maybe I don't need to tear myself down like you, to build myself back up. Maybe I can just keep building, and building, and building...
Maybe more girls should keep building, instead of focusing on other people's opinions of them. Maybe what other people say shouldn't be important to your sense of self!"
I don't know, damn... shit's depressing. One day, you care about feminism... next day, someone's telling you, "YOU'LL NEVER BE HAPPY BECAUSE YOU WERE BORN A GIRL, AND WE LIVE IN A MAN'S MAN'S MAN'S WORLD! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" I guess it's also funny that if you pay attention to feminist blog circles, you can see the trends of them despairing... but then you can also see other feminists denying that any feminist would ever wallow in despair. It's like, "you don't speak for every other feminist out there. Feminists are individual human beings, and thus subject to human faults. Feminism does not make someone freaking immortal or faultless. It's not a fairy-tale. It's real life." Idk, idk. I feel like they deal in symbolism... rather than reality.
This is another one (from the same asker as previous) that I feel I have to post because it makes good points -- many of which I've tried to make over the years -- in a fresh way. (Actually, ironically, even after so many very lengthy asks regarding gender stuff, I'm unclear on your gender, and it's okay if you don't feel comfortable sharing, but if I had to make a guess it would be that I'm hearing from a woman's perspective here?) I wouldn't put everything the way you do: I'm not at all sure of the connection you suggest between frustration that the patriarchy isn't crumbling and eagerness to affirm a different gender identity, although it's an interesting suggestion. And I do think there are plenty of problems that even Western women face that should be treated as important (even though a lot of feminists appear to come from a West-centric mindset that lacks the perspective that some far more severe forms of oppression are happening in other parts of the world), and there are forms of sexism still embedded in our culture that hurt men as well as women, so I'm perfectly on board with We Still Need Feminism. But yes, under the law (arguably apart from restrictions on reproductive rights, of course, as you say), the right for equality has pretty much been won for a while, it seems.
Which I think has a lot to do with the evolution of feminism and other forms of (lowercase-s-and-j) social justice movements over the decades from a high-agency-ist mindset ("since group X is unequal under the law and the rationale is that they need to be treated like children, we need to show that they have agency") to a low-agency-ist mindset ("since what we now have to focus on for group X is ways that they're still oppressed which are invisible to some outsiders, we need to show ways in which their capacity to do certain things is limited"). It stretches to a ton of areas other than feminism, of course. It's been a recurring theme in my writing since 2016-2017. But the only time I recall making a full-blown effortpost focusing only on how this can be applied to feminism is in late 2018 with "'Can' vs. 'can't' feminism" which may be my previous discussion of the topic that you said you enjoyed (and here's a briefer follow-up on the same theme). I'm kind of proud of the just-linked effortpost because I think it was well liked, although that may just mostly be because "women-can feminism" vs. "women-can't feminism" seem to go down well as conceptual handles as opposed to the very closely related "high-agency-ism" vs. "low-agency-ism" which I always perceive to instigate subtle eye-rolls.
I feel like they deal in symbolism… rather than reality.
Well, yes. That sums up a lot of my beef with a whole ton of activist rhetoric in general.

back from my break, now it's time to dust my inbox. Thanks for your message, dear. :D So, I see this as a joker to just fire away.
Random unpopular opinion (rant ahead!): There exists this very good phrase: "He's versed in leftist theory but does he do the dishes?". About costumer service there should be the phrase: "He/she/they know all about feminist theory, want to abolish borders, and of course they're a communist. But are they actually nice to the staff?" Okay, let me say, we all run into our principal contradictions, need to make experiences to realize them through, and sometimes we have bad days. I get that. But holy heck, the things I experienced working as a waitress are really something else. (Probably anyone in costumer service has their personal Top 5 nerve grinding stories.) Barely anyone in costumer service is getting paid enough for this.
Seriously, there're many demands in accommodation which are reasonable and fair to make, like more space for wheelchairs, looking for sugar free options, asking for dietary specifications. These are fine. There's also bad staff out there, I did have issues with some colleagues' inconsiderate work ethic. But costumers asking with disability accommodation have, in my experience, never been a bother. It has always been costumers who had no regards for the working hours of the staff, or how the space for other costumers could remain comfortable as well.
A lot of costumer service is run by people who do not earn much, most likely basic income, there're so many people with an immigrant background, and still costumers think money entitles them to receive everything exactly as they demand it, at the time they demand it. My new enemy are so called "free spirits", the kind of urban folk who live as the protagonist of their own indie movie with melancholic smoke, and "après moi, le déluge" attitude, not taking into consideration other costumers share the same space and service with them, or that they might not be bound by the clock but deliveries, commute times, food prep, cleaning times, opening, and closing hours are very much a consequential concept for the service industry, so no, the world amazingly does not revolve around you. And if the staff kindly asks you to not do something, please don't, we are the ones who have to clean up, and maintain the facility. And service staff can't act really defend itself because we are costumer dependent, online reviews pressuring us to be even more compliant and agreeable in order to not bear bad consequences - not matter how impolite the costumer is. If people are capable of it, some should really do some costumer service work, learning some humility really becomes certain folks better.
Send me a “ 🔥 “ for an unpopular opinion.

Hi! I was thinking of joining the book club. I was wondering... is there an specific current of thought that is expected of members? I identify with the ideals of intersectional feminism, and don't feel comfortable with some of the ideas of currents of radical feminism, specially regarding gender and queer theory... So would it be okay that I join?
Hi, I don't mind, your interpretations of the book are yours, this isn't a radical feminist book club, but a spiritual book club for radfems/rad aligned or feminist women who aren't afraid of talking about spirituality with any of us lol. None of the books I have in mind for this book club are traditional radical feminist texts or anything like that, so that's why it's just a spiritual bookclub for feminist women. We're all just bringing our own feminist lenses to the table and most of the books authors were feminist or engage with feminist critical theory in some way.
Some of the books in mind for this group are starhawk's the spiral dance (most likely next), woman spirit rising by carol p christ and judith plaskov, and women who run with the wolves by clarissa pinkola estés. You are completely free to browse over the summaries and see what else these women have written or said to get a feel of the types of books we're going to hopefully go through. They're not all radical feminist leaders or movers, but just influencial feminist historians, theologists, witches, etc.

So, some thoughts on Billy Dunne? I somehow feel he's overly vilified by the whol djats fandom, although he kind of was wronged too.
I haven't been nor ever would join the fandom of this fucking garbage ass show, so I'm not familiar with Tumblr's opinion ... though I can already tell you they're probably full of shit, cause this is Tumblr and a majority of takes on this hell-site are shockingly ill-informed, ignorant, or just straight up nonsense.
But what I will say is that Billy Dunne is a fully realized and three-dimensional character that is very well defined and had flaws that he tries to overcome. All in all, he's a good character that probably got the most development out of everyone and had the best actor of the cast portraying him.
He also happened to be right about most things in the series.
The problem with "Daisy Jones and the Six" is that it isn't really a show. Just like "Twilight" isn't really a novel. They're both female vanity projects and absolute fantasies with money behind them.
All the female characters actually aren't characters. They're archetypal stand-ins for white upper-class leftist feminist narratives.
Daisy Jones = Free Spirit, grew up rich, does what she wants, and faces no consequences outside her always dramatic love life. (The Fantasy Life #1)
Karen Sirko = Bad bitch girl-boss who doesn't want to settle down or have children, cause she's soooo badass. (Fantasy Life #2)
Camillia Dunne = The traditional feminine role who portrays the self-important ideal held by most women that they hold everything together and are secretly in charge of everything. She is also punished for being in the traditional female role. (The cautionary tale of wanting the Trad Fantasy Life)
They have no personalities, they have no character development, and in terms of Daisy and Karen they're basically Mary-Sues. There's no infighting, they women never have trouble with each other, they never blame one another for the really terrible things that they do to each other - they mostly blame just blame Billy for their problems. By the way, all of this is complete fantasy ... women do not get along in these type of groups, they just don't.
And if you're going to come at me with "Uh, that's not true, I support and love all women!"
You're a goddamn liar.
You support women who think or look like you, who have the same beliefs. If you saw a "Trad Wife" or a Female Conservative - or even a woman of color who is even just a moderate - you'd go ape shit at them and say all the worst things you can think of.
So, no, it's un-fucking-realistic that women in a rock band "support each other" ... for fuck sake Stevie Nicks and Christine MacVie couldn't fucking stand one another. And Fleetwood Mac is what this entire story is based off of.
And you can look no further that "Daisy Jones & the Six" is just a White liberal wine mom fantasy than the fact that in the last four episodes, there is some truly evil things done by the core three female characters - I mean EVIL shit - and they face no consequences for it.
In reality some of the shit that Daisy and Karen do ... they would be dead, straight up dead. Daisy would've gotten her shit rocked by both dudes and women multiple times a fucking episode for the things she does and says. And if Karen did what she did with the secret abortion for no reason, in reality, she would be dead ... Graham would kill her, any man would've killed her for doing that. Also Camillia would be out the door with all her shit for aiding Karen in an act of pure fucking evil that destroyed her brother-in-law for years, nearly ruined his life.
But no, this is a monument to the female ego, so they don't face any consequences for what they do. Daisy Jones overdoses, then just keeps doing drugs ... and then, oh, she's sober now. Karen is actually the hero, and is rewarded for her evil act by having a dream career, and making Graham's life so much better - the dick-less fuckboy even thanks her. And Camillia, who is to blame for all of this shit and then takes no responsibility for it - well she's martyred in the end and gives her blessing for Daisy to get the last piece of her mary-sue happy ending.
It's probably one of the grossest and ugliest things I've ever fucking seen put to screen. It makes me long for the days when buff werewolves and sparkly vampires were fighting over a pretty but bland lobotomy patient.
The evolution is thusly:
Step 1 - Twilight phase - young girl
Step 2 - 50 Shades of Grey - Horny Teenage/College phase
Step 3 - "Daisy Jones and the Six" Phase - Grown Woman stuck in shitty small apartment in hell-hole city, miserable, no love life, wants affirmation.
That's 10 hours of my life that I'm never going to get back.
Never.

So today's talk was on who we allow to mold our thinking. God, or this world under the rule of Satan? At Romans 12:2, we are counseled: “Stop being molded by this system of things, but be transformed by making your mind over, so that you may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Those inspired words show that whatever molded our thinking before we learned about God, it is possible to bring our thoughts into closer harmony with God’s. Does it really matter who molds our thinking? Why is it beneficial that we allow God to mold our thinking? Why do some people refuse to allow God to mold their thinking? And how can we protect ourselves from developing the thinking of this world?
Consider the situation between Jesus and Peter. Jesus, the one they expected to restore Israel’s kingdom, said that he would soon suffer and die. It was the apostle Peter who spoke up. “Be kind to yourself, Lord,” he said. “You will not have this happen to you at all.” Jesus countered: “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, because you think, not God’s thoughts, but those of men.”—Matt. 16:21-23; Acts 1:6. Jesus made a distinction between thoughts that originate with God and thoughts that originate with this world under Satan’s control. (1 John 5:19) Peter echoed the self-sparing attitude of the world. But Jesus knew that his Father’s thinking was different. He knew that God wanted him to brace himself for the suffering and death that awaited him. Jesus' instant reply was a clear rejection of that worldly thinking, in favor of the thinking of his father. It's not always easy to align our thinking or viewpoint to God's. Actually, doing so requires a deliberate effort. On the other hand, it's all too easy to absorb the world’s thinking. That is because the spirit of the world is all around us. (Eph. 2:2) and because it often appeals to self-interest, the world’s way of thinking can be enticing.
Why might some actually resist allowing someone to mold their thinking? It's a growing trend lately, this whole "do what you want", "don't let anyone tell you what to do", “I think for myself,” movement. They want to make their own decisions and that is proper to do so. They do not wish to be controlled, nor do they want to surrender their individuality. But really, even the most independent of thinkers cannot avoid being influenced. Whether contemplating something so profound as the origin of life or simply deciding what to wear, people are to some degree affected by others. We can, however, choose whom we will allow to influence us. We're not giving up our individuality by molding our view point and thinking to that of God's. Much the opposite. 2 Corinthians 3:17 brings out that where the spirit of God is, there is freedom. God allowed us the freedom to develop unique personalities, and interestes. But there are some restrictions. When it comes to issues of right and wrong, God wants us to be guided by his thinking as revealed in his Word. Is this overly restrictive, or is it beneficial?
Considering something everyone of us is familiar with. That of parents and children. Parents set rules, rules to protect and guide their children. They try to instill values in them to be honest, considerate, and kind people. They're not being restrictive, no, they're trying to raise their children to be capable adults. If the children choose to live within the values that they learned from their parents, they will be more likely to make decisions that they will not later regret. As a result, they will be free from many self-induced troubles and anxieties. God is that parent. He is our Father. Like a good parent, God wants his children to have the most fulfilling life possible. He therefore provides basic principles for moral conduct and for behavior toward others. In such matters he invites us to cultivate his very way of thinking and to share his values. It helps us make choices that lead to happiness while still allowing us to blossom as individuals. In the long run, it is beneficial for us.
While the world as tried to offer advice on moral conduct, family relationships, job satisfaction, and other aspects of life. Much of it is out of harmony with godsG thinking. For example, self-promotion is often encouraged. So is tolerance of sexual immorality. Separation and divorce for frivolous reasons are sometimes advised as a means of achieving greater happiness. Not even the growing advancing technology, or higher education (nothing can be as high as learning about God though. Isa. 55:9) but none of it has been able to solve the major problems that stand in the way of happiness, such as war, racism, and crime. Moses, for example, was educated “in all the wisdom of the Egyptians,” he looked to God for “a heart of wisdom.” (Acts 7:22; Ps. 90:12) He also petitioned God: “Make me know your ways.” (Ex. 33:13) The apostle Paul was an intelligent and learned man, yet, when it came to matters of principle, he rejected worldly wisdom. Instead, he based his reasoning on the Scriptures.
So how can we avoid having how thoughts molded to the world? For one, we must stop taking into our minds ideas or viewpoints that are in opposition to God’s. And we need to start taking in God's thoughts, his words through the Bible. We need to dwell and meditate on how He views things. We cant serve two masters. But it's impossible to avoid contact with the world entirely, after all kids need to go to school, and we need to go to work. Some exposure to its ideas is inescapable. However, where contact with ungodly views is unavoidable, we certainly need not entertain them or accept them. Like Jesus, we should be quick to reject thoughts that serve Satan’s purpose.
But we can protect ourselves from unnecessary exposure. One way, is that we should exercise caution when choosing our close friends. The Bible warns that if we keep close company with people who do not worship God, their thinking will rub off on us. Take King Solomon for example. God gave him wisdom. But King Solomon was influenced by his foreign wives and was lead astray from God to worship false ones. Another thing is by being selective when choosing entertainment. By rejecting entertainment that promotes the theory of evolution, violence, or immorality, we avoid poisoning our thinking with ideas that are against the knowledge of God. We need to be very careful. Satan likes to make things appear harmless, sudtle. For example, a news report might be angled in such a way so as to favor certain political opinions. Some movies and books promote the “me first” and “family first” philosophies, making them seem reasonable, appealing, even right. Even some children’s stories, though otherwise unobjectionable, may subtly lay the groundwork for accepting immoral behavior. One of the lady's in my congregation, who has a 5 year old, mentioned that Clifford, you know, the big red dog, well in one of the books recently has mentioned Cliffords dad having a boyfriend. Even directed to little kids now, they're trying to make it all acceptable. The feminist movement, one I'll admit I got caught up in, while the idea is great- considering God had intended women to be respected and treated equal- has a few snares. One is the topic of abortion. They cover it with the saying "Her body, her choice" But that's that same selfish reasoning that Peter had showed.
Remember, there are basically two sources of information—God and the world under Satan’s control. By which source are we being molded? The answer is, the source from which we obtain information. If we take in the world’s ideas, these will mold our thinking, inclining us toward fleshly points of view and behavior. That is why it is vital that we guard what we allow our minds to dwell on.

Gillette Ad Controversy
Ok. I just wanted to say something about the new Gillette ad going around since I've seen a few tweets going around that are just full of blasphemy and I've had an in-depth conversation about it with my parents.
I believe it is a very well done ad, depicting real life events that happen on a daily basis to members of any gender. And not only does it discuss removing the idea that "boys will be boys", it brings up the importance of bullying, sexual harassment, and the positive change that can come from the effort of everyone.
What bothered me was the incompetence of some people who are viewing the ad and taking it at face value saying that it's promoting fake men behaviors and that some people take to a tweet before they even sit down and educate themselves on what they're tweeting about. (It's not just for presidents apparently!)
----
Here are some tweets I found quite blasphemous and why I find them to be that way:
Tumblr media
Ok, first off, this Gillette ad didn't profile ALL men as a problem, it depicted multiple types of men, backyard grilling, corporate executives, even a single dad walking with his son. They also depicted multiple ways in which men could act in multiple situations, they could be the bully (the group of young boys bullying another) or the man who stands up to them and breaks up their fight, they could be the father watching their kids fight and excusing it as "boys will be boys" or they can step in and teach them to play nicer or talk if they're actually having a genuine dispute. They could catcall or harass women, or they could step in and de-escalate the situation.
So yes, Jessie, they're already promoting good men. And they are also promoting a change in the completely relevent topic of toxic masculinity that does exist in parts of the world. Just because you've been fortunate enough to not have experienced it, doesn't mean that other women haven't.
Tumblr media
I must say, women buy Gillette products too! Just ask Chrissy Teagan or anyone in the razor isle of your grocery store. And it is not a condescending ad, in fact it's a strong attempt at trying to lift up a man's spirit and hope to try and be role models for the generations to come. I will admit there has been a strong push for girl power and women empowerment, that the men deserve some empowering advertising. This advert tries to bring out the best in every man, just like the women empowerment movements that have been going on, because in order to have global change, we all need to work together.
Ok, second part of this... "can you imagine the feminist outrage if this was an ad pointing out the flows that SOME women have"... Sir, have you heard of tabloids? Or the fact that a large percentage of women are constantly reviewed or sexualized on instagram or social media or news websites every day? How when we receive criticism it's that we're either too bossy or too pretty to be quiet? or too tall or too short? or dress too conservative but then if we show too much we're a slut? And the fact that we've tried to put a stop to it with marches and protests and writing articles about it, and nothing has changed? Yet when one ad makes a statement about men becoming a better version of themselves, everyone loses their mind? I'm not saying that men don't experience criticism when they're not the "ideal man", but I'm saying women have had an extensive history of it, and we've pretty much had nothing change. But men have become quite hypocritical once the tables have turned to themselves.

Dear Gad: Some women are violent feminists. But most are willing to cooperate with the comments you and many other men make on our posts or in our workplace about our bodies and our viewpoints. It is grotesque to repeatedly ascribe collective guilt, when mansplain things or say that women of any race or religion aren't 100% equal to men, onto half of humanity known as women.
And unfortunately, being a woman was, in fact, a disease. It started very early on in history, but became quite prevalent in the early 1900's and was called female hysteria. "Freud considered [female hysteria] an exclusively female disease" (Female Hysteria). So the fact that being a man is not a disease means you're already off to an easier start!

The fact that men are so scared to step up and take responsibility for their actions just shows that this masculinity in the ad still exists. That we might as well still be living in the early 1950's when Ruth Bader-Ginsburg was still fighting to even sit in the same classroom as her male students. Or the 1920's when women were still expected to sit at home to watch the children and cook and were thought to be too incompetent to vote.
The world needs men who are willing to work with the rest of us to change it. We can't have half the population of our planet fighting the other half. In order to progress through this society, we need to work together and understand each other.
Men need to step up like women, because we've been fighting for centuries.
