sometimes it just feels too hard. being the newest member in jackson means you feel like you have to prove your worth 24/7. and it’s exhausting, really. abby is just so strong, ellie has the best patrol work, and you? you feel… weak. you (falsely) feel like nothing you’ve done has proven you’re worth the space in jackson.

so when monday rolls around, you tell ellie and abby you have plans with someone else so you can just go home and hide. they don’t question that, why would they? tuesday you tell them you wanna go to bed early. okay, fine. but then it’s wednesday, and they’re starting to get that something is going on with you.

the worry starts to kick in wednesday night after maria tells the two women you asked to go home early, citing that you’re not feeling well. abby all but drags ellie to your tiny place immediately after hearing maria’s words. you always tell each other everything. so why didn’t you now?!

it’s easy to know abby and ellie are knocking at your door simply because of the sheer force of it. five minutes you try to pretend you’re not home. you don’t want them to see you in this state; you’ve been ugly crying for two hours now. however, they don’t give up. it’s not like you could expect anything else from them.

“baby, we know you’re home. let us in, yeah? we’re worried about you,” abby shouts out after another two minutes of knocking.

you respond back with a sickly voice from the sofa, “no, go away. ‘m busy.”

you can just feel the attitude enter ellie’s body now. you know how stubborn she can be. “no, we know you’re lying. i will find a way in if you don’t let us in within the next thirty seconds.”

you know she isn’t joking as you move to open the door. the sight of you upon opening the door is not a pretty one— your face is red, covered in tears. ellie takes a deep breath before she pushes in. she won’t let you shut them out anymore. abby shuts the door before them before heading you back onto the sofa with them. each other is on either side of you within the matter of seconds.

as per usual, abby is the first one to break the silence. “oh, honey, what’s going on? we could’ve helped you sooner if we knew.” the way she sounds sad just makes you feel worse.

insecurities once again bubbling over, you do the only thing you can think of: you try to shove abby away. being significantly stronger than you means it didn’t feel like a single thing. however, abby won’t put up with you lashing out right now. she knows you can be their sweet girl even in the toughest of moments.

ellie watches like a hawk as abby grabs both of your wrists to stop you from trying to push her away again. “just because you’re upset doesn’t mean you can act out. are you going to be the big girl i know you are now? or do i need to keep you here?”

the concerned sternness of her voice makes you whimper in reply. fresh tears leak down your face as you try to find the words to explain. “i- i just don’t think i deserve to be here! everyone, especially you two, carry your weight around here! and what do i do? i’m just a stupid girl working in the bar!”

and, well, neither of them could say they were expecting that response. sure, you were newer to Jackson, but so was everyone at one point. you were also one of the most popular Jackson residents— everyone loves the energy you bring to the bar after a long day of work. so it just makes sense that both women are beyond shocked to realize that this is why you’re so down. how could you not know how loved you are here?

as yet another round of tears starts to fall, you feel abby’s big arms quickly pull you into her chest. your body starts to shake with each inhale as you start to sob into abby’s chest. while ellie rushes to rub your back, abby starts to tilt your head up so you can see her.

“angel, angel, no. let’s take some deep breathes and then we’ll all have a talk, okay?”, abby coos as she wipes away the falling tears.

ellie puts your right hand over abby’s heart when your breathing doesn’t start to slow any. she speaks in the softest voice she can muster up,“deep breaths with me and abby, baby. feel abby’s heart beat. we’re all going to just relax together before anything else.”

two minutes between your favorite people is all it takes to reduce you to just sniffles. you slouch back into your seat once you’ve finally caught your breath. you look up at abby and ellie with wet eyes before letting out a long sigh. no one is sure who should speak first.

ellie decides she’ll be the one to start, “it’s not true, you know? everyone here loves you. helping run the bar is important. you create a space where we can all relax for once. emphasis on the relax part.”

abby grunts in agreement with ellie. “you know ellie’s right, don’t you baby,” abby questions before looking over to ellie, “our favorite girl’s always making everyone feel happy, isn’t she?”

“for real though, you really do play a big part here. you know ellie and i started arguing less when you came around? pretty big deal there, you know. even joel commented on it,” the dirty blonde continues on the conversation.

and that makes you giggle for the first time all day. “even joel? really?” while you knew they had a previous history of more frequent fights, you didn’t know even joel was over it back then too.

“yeah, it’s really true,” abby starts before taking a breath to think about her next words. she exhales, “strength isn’t everything, you know? you add just as much as we do here. creating a space where people can relax while we live on this hell on earth is just as important as what we do. we all do the best here because we are better with each other. our system can’t function without others.”

you’re sure you’d be crying tears of happiness right now if you weren’t so exhausted from all your previous crying. your previous anxieties start to slip away as you start to truly internalize both of their words from today. you are important. you matter here. just like everyone else.

no one is given a chance to speak before you’re pulling ellie and yourself on top of abby. “i love you, i love you, i love you both,” you whisper out. “you’re right. i promise i’ll come talk to you next time i’m feeling down, okay? know you’ll make me say that part next!”

“okay smarty pants, you better. also, we always are, darling. love you the most,” teases ellie before she presses a kiss to the back of your head.

“hey! what if i love you both the most? then what?” you’re sure you can feel ellie roll her eyes as abby whines out playfully.

“okay, okay. how about we all love each other the most? can we just agree so i can drink some water now? my head is killing me.” a major post-crying headache has just started to come on for you.

ellie rolls her eyes playful at both of you. “i’ll get us all some water”, she commands as she walks to your kitchen, “and get comfy with abby. we’ll watch a movie, and yes, you can choose today.”

after posting lcb trigger warning i wanted to do this

me explaining project moon in the shortest way possible except its goofy af bc im eepy and lazy but im in a desperately talkative mood (i post mostly about limbus company since it came out cmon)

what the fuck is projmoon:

project moon is the coolest ever indie game development team we love them; they've made three games so far, also have an unfinished novel, a...idk, just another novel that was initially a comic but im a hater (im sorry(not)), and another comic

they've been doing it for like 7 years almost and still have no idea what optimization is but its okay we love them

there's a lot of killing and just amoral guys in general who can and will kill thousands. its THE 'your meow meow killed thousands of people' 'and they looked good doing it!' universe. everyone is fucked up there guys. but UMMM thats kinda the appeal

so the games! we all here are gamerzzz!

it all started 6 years ago, when lobotomy corporation released in early access and my gf was like hey look what i found

lobotomy corp is a game where you're a manager in a big company, L corp, and you have to get your guys, employees(lucky ones who got the job) to work with abnormalities(fucked up creatures) so they would generate enkephalin, a big energy resource

except your guys will probably die when you're already so attached to them so you just restart the day each time this happens

theres like a maaassive plot, it is the beginning of literally everything, like some stuff still haunts us in limbus company (looking at a particular individual) and there are more characters that you'll fucking love(sephirahs) and then learn their fucked up story (and then learn your fucked up story and not be happy about it)

ah yes while im on it theres no actual self incert in project moon games im sorry but every character IS a character

gameplay-wise you just have to organize your guys, give them equipment, assign them to a job, make them suffer and struggle to suppress abnormalities if they try to make a mess(kill everyone) and do hard tasks your besties make you do

LoR

later, in like 2018 i think, they almost immediately after full release of LC announced a sequel, library of ruina

library of ruina is a game that continues the story(duh) and i can't tell you much about it without spoiling lob corp too, but in this one you have to USE BRAIN like A LOT because its a STRATEGY CARD GAME

in this one you dont even have a character you play as, you just follow the characters' on their journey. but dw! you'll get your own customizable guys to adore here too!

basically in this game the characters from LC and your guys are called librarians and you have to greet guests of the library, that were specifically invited there and /tp-ed, basically fighting them. every battle has its own story and eventually it branches off into four arcs and oh gott i love library of ruina a'right you meet characters for like one story and then have to fight them knowing their issues and how life fucked them over enough to get there</3

gameplay-wise you build cool decks from cards of those you've killed for your guys, pick guys for fight and then pick cards. simple. i think. not so simple in game but i simplified it

there's also a lot of amazing lore drops, bc in LC we were kinda isolated and focused on the corporation, but in LoR? we get to see all kinda of people of The City, we learn about The City, we learn about factions and all, we get all the lore we missed by being stuck in that manager chair

LCB

okay and now we're here. limbus my fucking company.

limbus company was, again, announced almost immediately after LoR's full release(PM are CRAZY), and released february 27 of this year, and already has more story in word count than lor does or so i've heard...

limbus company is pm's first mobile game(but dw there is a steam release if you're more of a pc person or your phone will explode if you try to install it(and it will)) and their first...(behold) gacha game. yep. but no dont get scared it actually has the best gacha system ever known to men

they've also tried to make it enjoyable without getting into previous games but to me it doesnt feel right i dunno i feel like it's just not that cool without knowing the context and going insane screaming at carmen or connecting the dots, also like the events of LCB are all connected to LC and LoR, so ummm if you try to get into limbus without at least learning what the other games contain be ready i'll personally explode you

in this game you basically play as dante(they/them for the sake of mysteriousness of 'who TF they are') and you have 12 deranged guys named the sinners who are ALL BASED OFF FUCKING CLASSIC LITERATURE did you fucking know pm are fucking literacy nerds and cant have a game without book references without exploding??? well they are.

so the characters (IN CASE YOU'RE INTERESTED) are:

1. gregor (metamorphosis, franz kafka)

2. rodion (crime and punishment, fyodor dostoyevsky)

3. (emil) sinclair (demian, hermann hesse)

4. yi sang (the wings, yi sang (kim hae-gyeong))

5. ishmael (moby dick, herman melville)

8. hong lu (dream of the red chamber, cao xueqin)

9. ryoshu (hell screen, ryunosuke akutagawa)

also don't forget dante is based on the divine comedy by dante alighieri!

also dante DOESNT FUCKING KNOW SHIT. faust seems to know all shit and never tell dante.

i mentioned it being a gacha game. so like. you dont pull characters. instead you pull the initial deranged guys' alternative versions where they end up on another job like cult leader or a terrorist idk

the best part? you dont necessarily have to get them from gacha in most cases, you can get special currency, ego shards, to get whatever you want separately. also pm added ideality that you get from unfortunate pulls that you can spend on the special identity from the banner. but tbh i think its way easier to get the shards needed than pull that much, not really worth it

gameplay-wise? well. you have to basically just choose your guys' identities(those alt versions, they use them in fights to be stronger), choose their skills, a little similar to ruina (except TBH lcb lets you fuck around and put it on auto until it doesnt really work out (please dont autoplay with r corp ishmael or at least check what they're doing you silly goop they might do friendly fire if you're stupid enough)). the game consists of cantos, chapters that tell you a separate story of a sinner(in the order i gave earlier, not everyone knows that), that have story-episodes(cool ones), story-and-fight-then-episodes(epic ones), and sometimes just-fight-episodes(who the fuck thought those are a good idea?). and in the end of a canto there's always a dungeon. honestly, first two cantos are easy enough to just learn basics yourself, im rambling at this point

there's also hellish grind options and paid stuff like battle pass with the coolest perks ever

also LoR and LCB have mili songs, which is fucking cool, they're such bangers. no no projmoon games' ost in general. just fuckign bangers my guys and i mean it.

Distortion Detective

im such a fucking fan of this unfinished novel, im so upset they abandoned it </3 pm did say they're probably going to rework it as a game or smth later but in my opinion it just loses its charm if its not a novel

distortion detective ... i cant explain it without spoilers to the games but its basically about moses, the distortion detective, who solves distortions which are like uhhmmm... people turning into some funky shit(that expresses their feelings). and she has a parthner named ezra. they're both poor traumatized women. and stuff happens. thats all i can say without spoiling everything. you learn a lot about the distortion phenomenon from moses' perspective.

WonderLab

wonderlab is a comic made by artist mimi, that follows taii, rose and catt. its about another lobotomy corp branch that actually introduces us to the concept of abnormality aberrations (slightly similar but different abnormalities like we have a little red riding hooded mercenary's(do you remember me mentioning pm being literacy nerds?) team fortress blue team version or whatever) that is used in limbus quite a lot so we old people from LC can be like 'heehehehe this is like like snow white's apple's aberration, so funny, reminds me of good ol' days...'

Leviathan

my main enemy. initially it was a comic, but i think they had to stop working with the artist for some reason and continue it as a novel instead.

i didnt read it. im so sorry i failed you. but i cant. first vergilius, main character, is ugly AS FUCK and he's STUPID i hate his guts. BUT OH DEAR LORD HE APPEARS IN LIMBUS COMPANY AND I HATE HIM EVEN MORE. AND NOT JUST APPEARS, HE'S THE GUIDE OF THE BUS, HE'S KINDA ALWAYS THERE. I HATE HIS GUTS. oh hey lap-- charon, no, you're good, you're amazing, vroom-vroom, yes, right, you're so right.

i'm pretty sure it has A LOT of important context for some stuff in LCB but i just CAN'T MAKE MYSELF TOUCH IT. please read leviathan for me.

i'm sorry it turned into a looong ramble but here's t00nyah's awful brief guide to project moon. in case you want to know about world-building or the story in particular...i'm always here to dm me. please do. i really love telling people about project moon. there's just a lot to unpack.

edit. okay apparently it was easy to misinterpret my leviathan commentary so im putting this here for the sake of clearing the confusions for future!! tl;dr: i know it wasn't continued as a comic for REASONS, it's OBVIOUS!! and yes, leviathan is important, i just can't make myself read it therefore don't have enough knowledge to write about it(cool idea: write your own post about leviathan if you're seeing this and are enthusiastic about it! i just won't.), i still don't like vergilius, it's just a me-thing. pairing: jonathan byers x male! reader (romantic)

summary: smoking weed takes away the feeling of loneliness by providing you with the most perfect food combinations and your best friends. jonathan tries to confess but you cant comprehend a word he says, making him embarrassed and you, wearing fuzzy llama socks, screaming in laughter.

warnings: cursing, weed, awkward but cute fluff :)

a/n: i love fluff and have such a weak heart for jonathan! also happy yule!!! not revised btw

you were always a stoner and somewhat a loner, until you met jonathan and argyle. whenever it was awkward, you would crack a joke and no one could stop laughing. its just something you picked up from high school a while back, the class clown title. you couldnt deal with emotions so getting high was comforting and you were better explaining how you feel while smoking.

while being a cool stoner, youre also oblivious as fuck. everyone notices and im pretty sure you lost most brain cells, but to jonathan you were perfect. not everything about you was perfect, definitely not, but the way you show that goofy smile really lights up the room was magical. it was a hard core crush at this point.

you were never really part of the group until last year, after all the shit that went down in hawkins. you started hanging out with argyle, liking his stoner ways and matched his energy perfectly. “we are all one with the world” and “bro think about it, we’re all just brains! i dont get why people could hate each other.” were things you said quite often while stoned.

today was the day though: to confess. jonathan was nervous, like extremely after the whole thing with nancy and the break up. it hurt him definitely but he decided it was time to actually get out there and do what he wants to do. jonathan invited you over, thinking about how to do this correctly, so he prepped himself, rehearsing the lines. all of a sudden, the doorbell rings.

“ill get it!” jonathan yells while getting off of his ass as quick as possible. his hands were pretty sweaty so he wiped it off, heading to the front door.

“whos that?” joyce says genuinely curious, but of course she rolls her eyes and puts her hand on her hip and steps in front of jonathan. “youre doing all the chores for a week if thats (y/n).” joyce smiles a cheeky grin.

the doorbell starts again, but this time being pressed on a thousand times. “IM COMING!!” joyce yells ignoring jonathan. “wait..!” he tells joyce but she ignores him. shes his mother after all, not the other way around.

once the doors open, (y/n) spins around. “heyyyy miss joyce!” she turns and looks at jonathan with the i knew it face. “uhh, want me to wait out here- nevermind its too cold..” (y/n) jogs inside and acts like its the coldest hes ever felt. jonathan just looks at him like hes an idiot. “come on, lets just go to my room” as he sighs to himself.

before they go anywhere, (y/n) whispers, “hey, bro, hey.. i got the good shit and i may have smoked half of it in my car, but i left you some!” “get your ass in the room!” jonathan mumbles in an exhausted but hushed voice, trying to get (y/n) into a room.

“uh, bye i guess miss joyce..?” “uh huh, you too (y/n)…” she gives a questioning voice with her brow raised, “dont get into any trouble!” (y/n) laughs it off and runs into the bedroom like an idiot. you can here the springs get hit on jonathans bed all the way from the door way.

jonathan gives a little grin, heading towards his room. when he gets there (y/n) is already bringing out the bong, packing it terribly since hes already high as a kite. “hey bro, you gotta check this shit out, its feisty! back i say, back!” while acting like the bag of weed is after him. jonathan laughs and sits on the bed, taking the whole bowl down in a few hits.

“what is in this (y/n)..?” jonathan starts to feel prickles in his legs and his eyes droop. “i told its good shit! i know the best people my man” (y/n) packs another bowl and starts hitting that shit like crazy.

ten minutes later, theyre starting at the ceiling, on the floor of course. jonathan looks over and catches the other guys face, its practically glowing. the guy sits up and looks towards jonathan with his eyes glazed over. “bro… what did i come over here for again..?” jonathan hesitates, “um, i dont know..” jonathan turns away thinking about the confession hes supposed to make but clearly doesnt remember what he practiced.

“damn.. you know man, you cant lie to me even if im high,” (y/n) says as he ruffles his hair and stands up, walking in circles because it “feels good” as you can quote it. “ok ok, i just have to say one thing i guess?” (y/n) stops and stares at him, while jonathan is taking in all his features, down to his beautiful eyes and.. llama socks..??

jonathan sighs, sitting up and rubbing his hands against his face. “umm, (y/n)?” “yuh?” jonathan laughs and just says, “yuh? what does that even mean mannn?” (y/n) looks at him and bursts out laughing. jonathan looks at his hands, “what was i saying?” “bro, i cant even remember what we’ve done for the past uhhh i dont know twelve minutes?” “uh huh, really specific there (y/n)..” (y/n) just grins.

(y/n) stares at the llama socks and whispers, “i think theyre watching me…” jonathan stands up, urgently, asking who is while looking outside. “…the llamas bro…” jonathan looks at him as (y/n) makes that goofy grin. that goofy grin lit up his heart and he realizes what this whole thing was about. he sits next to (y/n) and give him a shy smile.

“ok so um..” jonathan thinks for a moment before blurting out, “i think im in love with you?” (y/n) jolts up and looks at jonathan. “i dont think ive eaten anything today. should i be worried? will i die?” “did you even hear what i said?” jonathan laughs and touches the other guys hand. “i. am. in. love. with. you. does that make sense??” (y/n) just looks at jonathan then looks at his hand and then the door. “if you really love me, get me food my guy.” jonathan sits dumbfounded as (y/n) says that, wondering how he even fell in love with the guy, before laughing. “alright, deal i guess??”

jonathan goes out of his room a little embarrassed, while (y/n) was doing something wild most likely. as soon as jonathan gets back with the food, you have already made a nest out of blankets and pillows on the floor. “what…??” jonathan takes a second before speaking again, “what are you doing?” (y/n) raised his hand, telling jonathan to stop speaking.

“i made a nest and i love you too loser.” (y/n) sits on the floor in his new nest, cuddled up in a ball. jonathan was too stunned to speak. he had to think about what was happening and almost dropped the chips he had in his hand. “so, you made me get food, built a nest, and now you say you love me??” “well..” (y/n) looks around, “yes? now get in.”

jonathan sits in the “nest” and (y/n) immediately pulls jonathan towards him, while sitting quietly. “you know you should brush your hair, its starting to look like an actual nest. jonathan starts laughing and fixing his hair. “is that better?” (y/n) looks at his nest below him and then looks back at jonathan, nodding to himself. “thatll do just fine.” (y/n) soft kisses his head.

jonathan looks around at the nest and then at the bags of chips before looking back at (y/n) again. “youre smoking privileges are being revoked after this.” jonathan laughs and (y/n) gives him a knowing look. “sure thing dude.. sure thing..”

— i grew up in a cult for like 16 years! in brighter news i also did ballet and softball for most of those years and got to go to a lot of regional / state championships and on dance tours which was really fun :) — i was a disney cast member when cov*d first hit the states and let me tell you that is one of those experiences you can't ever begin to explain to people — i went to college for game design. i dont hate myself to work in the game design industry

HOW LONG — god since like. elementary school? 6th grade at the very least WHAT PLATFORMS — i started out on hyper-specific rp forums (like warrior cats 💀) and private threads with friends over gmail ims and oovoo and skype. eventually moved to dreamwidth, then twitter, and then finally here BEST EXPERIENCE — can i be honest. dreamwidth. i love the forum structure a lot when it comes to replies, liked how easy and unobtrusive it was to use icons, liked having soooo many sandbox games readily available and i fucking adored murdergames which were really really common over there. structure-wise nothing has ever come close for me. tumblr has had the best People on it by far, though. i met most of my friends on twitter rp and thats the absolute Only word of praise i can give that experience

Calling the car ride to the academy awkward was an understatement.

Once you had actually gotten there, you didnt say a word to ruben and just grabbed your bookbag and took your luggage… He tried saying something to you but he stopped himself. Ruben understood you didnt want to hear him.

You walked to the front doors of the school… and you had no idea where to go, and ruben had already drove off by then. So you were completely alone, completely lost, and confused… You where thinking of what to do or where to go. When suddenly… A very cheery voice caught your attention, it sound very familiar to you, the cheery energy of the voice matched rubens The gleeful girl went up to you.

"Hey there!" she said, voice overfilled with glee

you were considering just walking away or ignoring her, you didnt want to make any friends here… that would prove Ruben right. You also never really knew how to keep friendships going, and you didnt really care for them anyway, so you never bothered to try.

But you didnt want to be rude. She seemed nice…

"Hi!" you said, trying to match her energy.

"I noticed you were new, and you seemed a bit lost"

"Oh yeah, um I just got here and im not sure where to go or who to see"

"Well youll have to register at the front desk, and im assuming you dont know where everything is…"

"Oh great" you thought.

After you registed and got your dorm room, you started walking with the girl.

"Stoners?" You asked, you were familiar with all the other ones… but stoner was a new one…

Your middle ground of sociability would be a good thing for Mr Morningstar. We all know this man has to be social when needed or when accompanying Dai to functions or whatnot, but he also thrives in his alone time. I love love love big youtube video essays, I’m not sure if i can pick a specific favorite!! My imaginary friend’s name was Nobody. Like.. genuinely thats what i called him. I have changed my name, and I picked it because it shares a nickname with my birth name and has the same initial— an easier transition for everyone else, they could just say my nickname if they didn’t want to say my new one. Let me explain: they have a normal apperance and also the mist form. When they are in this mist form, they are pretty mutch indestructible, bullets pass through them, knifes pass through, yada yada. They turn completely whitr(i mean paper white), hairstyle depends on whos reading, it can stay the same, turn fluffy bc of all the steam.... They can also make a multitude of surprisingly sturdy weapons from the mist, pass through the vents or small gaps, change things on their bodies, small or big butt for exampl, and can immaculetly( how tf do u spell this wtf-) clean anything, and i mean anything and anyone. I wanna add something for the personality, but i know you preffer zo keep it open so, none of that. Im pretty sure thats it, as always, love your posts and work! 🧸❤️ ( ps, seems like skeptic is stealing the spotlight from Overhaul on your site, in fact all of the liberation army is stealing the light from by beloved bird bois)

-Pops: Compliments your quirk very often. To him, he's rather interested in the quirk. It's rare (as he would day) that he gets to observe a quirk such as yours in society these days. He does request of you one thing and that's to not use it to change yourself too often. He loves you as you are. He doesn't think a single body part needs to be changed.

-Overhaul: You're quirk is cool and all but it's still a curse at the end of the day. He asks you if you want it to be taken away from you with the drugs. He gives you an option since he loves you after all. He'd fallen in love with you for who you are and not your quirk. The BIG benefit is your ability to clean anyone and anything as well as you can. He's going to want to use that to it's fullest extent:)

-Chronostasis: "Pretty damn cool..." He mumbles to himself the first time he sees you using it. He likes watching you use it no matter how or when you do. Honestly I think he stares at you with this dumb in love look on his face ever single time he gets a chance to do so. Next time you see him staring, try giving him a little show. I promise you he'll appreciate it!

-Mimic: The first you use it in front of him he kinda just stands there with his jaw open. The energy you put off gives him 'quirkless' vibes. Then again he should've expected something was up with the way your chest size changed so often. He started to think to himself about your abilities when he realized the way you were mixing things up one day with yourself. Maybe a dream of some sort then? Nope...nope yeah, they just made a weapon. Okay yeah, definitely not quirkless.

-Nemoto: Something about him just makes him the gentle but annoying protective type. Even after seeing what all your quirk could do, he's still worried about you possibly getting hurt out there in the streets. The mist aspect makes him correlate it to softness like cotton. Therefore his brain has made the connection that you must be easily harmed (despite the invincibility trait). Let the man worry too much and it'll seep over into your daily conversations. Is there any way to make him see you're just fine and fully capable?

-Deidoro: To be honest, his opinion of you wouldn't be any different no matter what kind of quirk you've got. Sure he thinks it's cool and yeah he especially likes the body part aspect of it, but at the end of the day he only cares about what you've got inside. He's never felt this way about anyone ever before so make sure you remember that every time you catch him pissing you off around the house (which is bound to happen when you date him).

-Rappa: Indestructible you say??? FIGHT ME!!!! You already knew it was coming when you let it slip around him that you were less than harm able. Your options are to now either fight the man or try and avoid him until he gets board and stops asking. What you didn't plan on was the fact that he NEVER seemed to get bored of challenging you. The other thing you didn't plan on was him clumsily asking you on a date out of the clear blue one day. At first you thought it was a trap to try and get you into a battle with him so you turned it down. Day by day 'fight me' was slowly turning into 'date me'. Eventually you're going to have to make a decision.

-Tengai: It's annoying if you two get into it with each other. Like Nemoto, he can tend to be overprotective no matter what you say your quirk is. Arguments aren't loud shouting between you two but they're nerve wracking. You can't even try to mist and escape somewhere since he just put his shield up and forces you to stay right where you are and listen to his lectures. Aside from this, you know he means well by annoying you. He just doesn't want to run the risk of the wrong people getting their hands on you when you're the most vulnerable if it were to ever come about.

-Hojo: Relates to you on a small level of some sort. I mean about the production of stuff. His quirk only of course gives way to crystals but you can do so much more. He likes watching you create so many different weapons. He admires the durability of each thing you make. Then again, I think he just seems to like everything about you really. No need to feel like you're out of place when it comes to him. 10/10 best boyfriend for a misty person (or any person really)

-Tabe: Amazed by your quirk and amazed every time you use it. It doesn't matter how, why, what, or when you use it. Tabe is always staring at you with these wide entranced eyes of his, waiting to see what your next move will be. Maybe its a warm feeling knowing someone thinks you're just so amazing to them. having someone see you as a star or something in their eyes. Spoiler alert: he's still look at you the same way even if you were quirkless. He's in love with all that you are. That's a promise.

-Setsuno: Likely falls for you when he watches you handle a stealthy mission better than his little group could ever do. Seriously, you killed it. You used your quirk to extract gentle information real easy. In and out in a snap! The origial plan was to have Hojo kick the enemy door down and to have a violent shootout lasting at least 5 minutes. Thanks to you, the work day has been cut short. He probably struggles for a while with good ideas about asking you out before he finally settles on a cute greeting card with a cloud on front. He poured himself out on the pages so I'd hate to see what he'd feel like if you turned it down.

-Katsukame: The body part thing...he's taking full advantage of that. You've got to reconsider this whole thing if you're not okay with it. You knew he was touchy feely when you started to date. He often finds himself trying to map out your body with his hands when he's in a certain type of mood. It's not always sexy though. Sometimes he just absentmindedly rubs your back and holds either of your hands. It's like he has to be touching you at all times (except full mist form). Maybe he's into physical touch as a love language or something?

~The League of Villains (because you asked!)~

-Shigaraki: Mist form indestructible you say? Can he use this to his advantage? He just wants your time really. He wants to be held by you. he wants you to tell him how much he means to you while you stroke his hair or rub small circles into his back. He wants all that sappy stuff from you so hand it over asap. It's a demand of his so you'll need to meet it soon or else he'll get pissy with you.

-Dabi: "Soooo...how big can you make it?" You stare at him deadpanned while he gives you that shit-eating grin. Half of him is seriously asking but the other half is genuinely curious about your quirk. How does all of it work? Is it immune to his ability? What are the shortcomings? What are your range of weapons you can make? So on and whatnot. It's rare he's ever asked you to delve into something so passionately so don't disappoint. Having a long chat with him might get him to open up about his own quirk because after all, there's more to it than just the fire itself. There's the history behind it too. Opening up to someone for once might do him some good.

-Muscular: Much like Rappa, your going to get offers to spar with him often. He just wants to see how indestructible you really are when it comes to battle with someone like him. He might also be trying to impress you silently with his strength as well. Either way, there's no getting out of it with this asshole. The only way to show him what you're made of (and to get him to stop annoying you) would be to go toe to toe with him. Too bad he got his ass beat by you and now has to listen to the others talk shit about him for the next week and a half. Instead of trying to beat you up by surprise he just lets it slide. "Lucky yeah that's it. Y/N just got lucky is all." Who is he trying to convince? You or himself lol.

-Compress: Wow, a partner like you would've come in handy when he was an entertainer. Can you imagine the crazy kinda shit you two could pull with your quirks combined? Forget being a villain! This man would've made it as a magician/illusionist with you by his side lol. He tells you everyday how amazing your quirk is, and how amazing you are as well. He's a real sap for you so he'll say stupid sappy things that can cause those around you ton cringe. Stupid stuff like "You've misted into my heart my love, and fogged up the glass walls tucked away in my mind. My how you drive me mad, my dear". The others just kinda groan and turn the other way.

-Kurogiri: Out of everyone from both organizations, you'd be the best fit for this man. No need to go into detail about anything because he already knows. He's sat and watched you, observing the ins and outs of your ability. The others will surely joke about how well you two fit and about how you're basically meant for each other. Kurogiri may have gotten flustered for the first time in his entire life after this but can you blame him?

-Magne: Is ridiculously proud of you and your quirk. Maybe is a little shit for bragging about you to everyone around her 24/7. She is no stranger to doing this and has done it on multiple occasions. "Hey we could've really used Y/N at our last fight because they can make an axe out of nowhere. Crazy right? Yeah, Y/N is just impressive like that. What else can I say about my baby after all? Not only are they powerful but also perfect. Blah blah blah-" I mean she's very much into you so the others are gonna hear about it too. Poor them lol

-Twice: "Well can you change your nose? What about your ears? If you fart can you then turn yourself into full mist and mingle with that fart cloud? What about passing through stuff? Can you pass through all kinds of filters? Can you pass through the brita filter and figure out why the water pressure has been so low in the kitchen? What about the-" This man hasn't shut the fuck up yet. Don't be mad though! He's going through that thing right now where his mind is running a million miles an hour and he can't seem to catch a break. You're sure he'll be up tonight doing God knows what until 4 a.m. rolls around. For now, just grin and bear it. Fill him in on your quirk no matter how silly his question may seem. In return for your kindness, maybe he'll shower you with kisses later.

-Moonfish: Has a weird obsession with trying to smell you in any/all forms. Thinks about whether or not he could inhale your entire being in mist form, or whether he can trap you in a glass jar or something. Thinks about your weapons and whether or not they last long enough in battle. He's got a lot on his mind so be patient with him. He's amazed by your quirk. He's also very much in love with you with each passing day. Begins to wonder if you can change the body parts then have you drifted into his chest and enlarged his heart? Why is it beating so wildly when you're near then? Gets lost in his own thoughts.

just going to write this out because i need to get it out somewhere and dont know where my little audio recorder is. i know its hard to live with parents for a lot of people, and i knew it'd be hard for me but thats really hitting right now.

today wasnt the worst, but it also kinda sucked. some geriatric asshole stopped his working vehicle in the middle of the street for no reason, and nearly got me t-boned because of it, then i got an energy bill for a place i dont live despite cancelling the policy in july, then i got a message from my insurance agent saying my policy would be cancelled if i didnt pay (but nothing was due?) and then when i tried to call i learned that this house often doesnt have cell signal in the afternoon. i eventually managed to talk to the insurance people and got that sorted, but i couldnt get through to the energy people, so that's still unresolved. im still rattled from the car thing - i was almost killed in a car last year, so im very sensitive around crashes and near-crashes (no flashbacks today, though, so thats better than the last near-incident i dealt with). tomorrow my dad and i fly out to visit his aging parents - his dad is basically wasting away and his mom is losing her mind, so its a bit of a lets-visit-one-last-time thing. i havent seen them since 2018 and rarely talk to them, but i know theyve fallen down this horrible fox-news-christian-conservative hole lately, and before that they werent great, so i have a horrible feeling this trip is just going to be painful and sad. i know that best-case-scenario, we talk about nothing meaningful at all, and they dont comment on my appearance. but they're going to hate it. and if they actually knew me, they'd hate me, too. and i feel bad leaving my cat behind to live in the basement for 3 days - my stepmom will look after her, but she's going to be very lonely. so there's that, too.

but honestly i needed to write this out because my dad and i were driving our dog to the park to let her run around and we were listening to the radio. he asked me why i dont always use my radio voice, and i told him its because it takes extra effort to stay low and smooth for the persona and the microphones, and that after a few hours its tiring. he said he knew that, but then basically asked again - i tried to get him to clarify, but he didnt have the vocabulary to explain it, so he tried to mimic my voice (i guess?) and it was fucking mean. like i felt my heart drop and almost teared up immediately. i said something like "haha i don't sound like that" and he doubled down and said i did. and the thing is like... i know my natural voice is a bit nasal. im from texas and was raised with a mother and an aunt with nasally, high-pitched southern accents, and i inherited some of that. i HATE my natural voice. for years, any video taken where i spoke at all, i hated rewatching it. i thought i sounded annoying and could barely fathom people wanting to be around me. i hear any recording of my self earlier than 2021 and i want to turn it off and erase it completely. i don't think i'll ever get over that hatred. but as i've gotten older, my voice has dropped a bit. and i make a conscious effort to have much less of a texan accent (some words still trip me up - aisle, line, fire, wild... "i" is hard to not sound texan on), and i try to sound "smoother" and more pleasant. but i know i don't always succeed, especially if im excited. and the thing is, my excitement is always too much for my family. it's annoying and immature and overwhelming, apparently. so my entire life i've tried to tone myself down, but sometimes i fail, and sometimes i'm so wound up and anxious i fail then, too. and i know it's annoying, but jesus christ that imitation hurt.

when i tried to express that, my dad got pissed and was like "thats just what you sound like" and i said something along the lines of "you don't have to mean about it" and he got more upset and was like "im not being mean you just sound like that. but fine. i just wont bring it up ever again" and im sitting in the passenger seat thinking... what am i supposed to do? what am i supposed to say? if i cry, he'll get even more upset and think im overreacting and being immature, but todays already been hard (to self-regulate earlier, i bit my arm so hard i accidentally drew blood, and screamed so loud in my car my hearing was temporarily dampened, but while that helped, it didn't fix anything), and i could cry any moment. and my mind just loops back to the impression of me, which was startlingly similar to his "whiny voice" he uses to mock assholes. it just felt fucking awful and yet i felt kinda crazy because he keeps saying he didnt mean it in a bad way, and he isnt the type to play mind games but my mother did that sort of thing all the time, and i was tired and upset and wanted to go back home. after the park, i tried to continue the conversation, but never really understood what part of my voice or cadence he was referring to,but i think i smoothed things over enough. but it just sucks so much.

im living with him and my stepmom right now as i look for a job, and im more than an hour away from any of my friends. while i could drive to see them, it doesnt make sense to waste that gas when im unemployed and heading for the airport in the morning tomorrow. and i dont really call my friends. i could, but its not a thing we do, and i honestly would just want to say what this post said and then move on. i just wish i had company. but im outside trying not to be eaten alive by mosquitoes but theyre getting me through me jeans, so i just have to suck it up and go inside to wash the dishes.

weird inchoate throughts incoming:

i noticed the way i infodump about something im deeply into tends to be a bit different from how other people do it and this might be a product of me masking, i dont know. but now a days i tend to be more reserved about this stuff than i used to be when i was younger. i try to stay away from just word vomiting everything i know and/or might find interesting about the topic, but rather try to curate the information and the way im presenting it as if i was pitching it.

rather than merely exposit im almost trying to sell the concept, im trying to make sure it has at least a shadow of the same emotional impact that it had on me when i first discovered it, im almost trying to reverse engineer the experience i had learning about the thing for the first time. so that they can GET IT, so that they can feel it in their bones what i felt, so that they can see not just what it is but WHY i care so much about it, so that they care a little bit as well and they dont think im a weirdo for talking non stop at them about something they dont care about.

im trying to get them invested

in order to do this i try to stay away from merely rapid fire exposition, this isnt an oral exam or a memorization test, this is a story that i am about to tell. i will keep firmly in mind what is merely tecnical minutia that wont contribute to selling the idea and what are the emotional keystones to get the listener hooked, i will try to cold read my audience a bit to see what tone to strike, how much energy to put into my tone, what thing to emphazise, what things to leave by the wayside.

the first thing ill keep in mind is that i will try my best to make this a conversation, which means that instead of launching on a 40 minutes long monologue, ill try to structure it as questions and answers. every time the conversation goes back to me and i launch on a fifteen minute rant about something i am directly and very pointedly adressing the question the other person asked. this helps the whole thing stay focused, structured and most important, interesting for the person listening to me. they are getting something they want from me and i get to feel smart by being able to explain whatever the other person wants to know about this vast world i hold inside of me.

there is a downside to this which is that im very dependant on the other persons full willingness to paticipate and keep the conversation going. but the upside of that is that the times it happens i know for a fact the other person is actually paying attention and interested in what i have to say

when i introduce the idea for the first time i try to reduce it to its most fundamental essntials, as quick and succint as i can make it while still communicating the very core of the concept. i try to make it concentrated and flavorful, promising depths and complexities beneath if the interlocutor is ever interested in plundering its dpths with me and if they bite, that is when the dumping starts.

a common mistake i see is people going on and on about details that are not relevant for the overall conveyance of the experience, it will just dizzy and confuse the listener trying to keep all details straight without knowing what is the main take away from it all. i will forego using too many names, opting for general labels like "this dude" or "the blue chick" or "the weird one i told you about". ill refer to previous events like "the big fuck up" or "that party" and so on and such.

i will make liberal use of hands and body gestures, ill put on a fun one-girl theatre show extravanganza, ill make voices and faces. ill re tell certain bits in a much more exagerated and overacted way because that way its a bit funnier and more engaging to listen to when coming from a person talking. ill pause, ill create dramatic tension, retell my own reactions that i had when i got to a certain part.

i will also try to highly structure the whole thing, if im about to embark on a tangent or a quick aside that is vital to get context i will make sure the listener knows this, ill put a pin on what i was saying, lay some sign boards on the ground and once we rejoin the main narrative ill make it explicit that that is what we are doing.

i have been told im really good at explaining things, i like to think is one of my talents, definetly is a thing i had a lot of practisce in. this is the first time i actually sat down to examine what is it that i do to get these results

hi!! sorry if this a bit of a weird question, but ive been getting into t&k and have been recently binging t&k content and theres so much out there! but im mostly getting “t&k lore” so to speak from yt comments and the like. and so far their dynamic seemed very straightforwardly platonic to me until watching old videos of unhhh and being like, did something happen? idk they seemed much more flirty and foward w the kisses and stuff then. i watched some of the old mtv livestream w alyssa and someone said that moment at x time when alyssa was trying to get them to kiss was so tense and awkward. and another one being like they made such a big deal of not touching that when they touch now is weird and im like??? and idk maybe its that they been working w eschother for such a long time the dynamics change and thats that but sometimes im like 👁️👁️. and wanted to know what the tumblr side thought?

second of all, i dont speak for all of the tumblr stans and certainly not for all stans everywhere, so this is just my opinion!

(this got quite long, so my thoughts after the post break)

now, when we talk those two's dynamic, we gotta start from what i consider 'the beginning'. so, 2014 up to 2017-ish. back then? their energy was absolutely more romantic and their interactions were heavily based on flirting. now, was this just their organic chemistry shining through or was this played up for audiences to eat up?? nobody knows. hell! i dont think they know. these are the years and the interactions that i consider key to everything else that follows, it influences everything.

then, we have 2018. what happened in this time, i think, is partly responsible for their relationship changing and becoming what is it right now. this is when they realized, by no easy means, just how much they meant to each other and how deep their emotions ran. after that, their energy leveled out and their interactions softened out. as a defense mechanism for self-preservation of their own emotions? as a way to protect their extremely important friendship and their working relationship? i think a mixture of all of those. i dont think the energy that i mentioned is gone, i just think it gets channeled a lot more tamely now that they're in a more mature spot of their lives. (if you dont know what happened back in 2018, i wont try to explain in clumsy words, ill just redirect you to the source. i recommend trixie's documentary 'moving parts' as well as these podcasts x, x, x, x, x,)

now, we have 2019 up until now. i think this is where their 'platonic' era begins. it certainly can be seen that way, and they definitely want everyone to see it that way, e.g 'we're casual friends' 'we're business partners' (shoutout to trixie). BUT, i believe this is outweighed by the intimacy and closeness that they show in literally all aspects of their life. do i think they're romantically involved now? no. do i think the romantic undertones that they used to have has tinted their energy up until now? absolutely.

of course, this is just my opinion. if you want to draw your own conclusions, do it in a safely manner (so dont do it somewhere that t&k could see, like twt, cause thats not cool)

this got so long, so if you wanted a concise answer, im so sorry anon. but these are my thoughts! 😅

hii id like to request a matchup as i see you’re doing them! id prefer characters from twisted wonderland or enstars, i dont really play obey me. umm for my personality i feel like i’m an ambivert, more on the introvert side! i’m very reserved for the first few months of meeting but i can really open up fast depends on my mood or the environment! i dont talk much and am not a sappy person either mainly due to not being very great with words. i like to think that i’m funny but i laugh at almost everything i’m starting to doubt it…i enjoy helping others with tasks and such! i’m indecisive so having someone who can make quick decisions for me in those moments r great if i really like u i will be a little mean at first but after a while i think im very nice and will even take initiative which i dont do often. i think an important thing too about me is if i don’t really have anything in common with a person it’s very difficult for me to talk to them. i dislike small talk because i feel like i’m too awkward for that. despite me being more of an introvert, i get lots of energy being around people but also lose the energy a bit fast too.

a few things i like are bats, lamps, fashion, music, games, art, plants and learning about space. I also enjoy watching movies and baking. also, i’d like someone the opposite of me, someone who uses their words. i’m the type of person to overthink things if they’re not told to me. or if i’m told to do something i need detailed and specific steps also bc communication is #1 in my book. Also i really enjoy learning about people. If i’m interested in someone i will try to learn every single little fact about you. Especially if they’re a closed off person at first like me it makes me all the more interested in knowing more.
