Mc!Monday

I'm just steaming through these today! I will schedule the next one to post when I'm in day care for mentally ill folks.

So y'all know the drill: challenge is by @obeythedemons

Prompt: “MC? What’s this?” MC looks to see their fanfiction/fan art/journal entry that features the very one holding it out to them.

Tags: again none! This is fluff again between Solomon and Icarus!

"Fuck why did I have to forget my sketchbook today! I'm gonna be so late!", Icarus cursed under his breath, flying above the other students to get to his last potion classroom. Thankfully Diavolo allowed flying in the hallway and another thing Icarus is thankful for right now is his shorter build. Most demons are tall so he can zoom through them with his smaller size. Luckily Icarus wasn't far from his last classroom when he noticed his missing sketchbook so he had a very short flight. Landing infront of the door of the still empty room Icarus walked in and felt his heart drop.

There stood Solomon, in all his dumb glory, looking through the black sketch book covered in so many cat and anime stickers. He looked pleasantly surprised. The light also hit him just right giving him an almost ethereal aura. And all of it just from what he's seeing. Icarus' hand itched, wanting to draw the scene before him incredible bad. Solomon noticed the staring half demon that's still stood in the door and smirked. Calmly he walked over to Icarus handing him Back his sketchbook "Next time you want to draw me, just come to me at Purgetory Hall or in breaks. I'm happy to pose for you aaaaall day long, little Shooting Star~", he teased grinning like a bloody Cheshire cat. Icarus snapped out his artist daze and frowned "I'm not only drawing you, Shady Wizard. I'm drawing what and whoever catches my eye! Your not my muse!"

"Oh? Everything that catches your eye you say? So I'm attractive to you?", leaning a bit into the short demons personal space he added, "If I'm so dazzling to you, why not make a Pact with me?" "Nope. I already have a Human in mind which is gonna be my first pact master and it ain't you, Solomon. Maybe after i made a pact with her I will make one with you if you ask nicely enough!", Icarus shoot him down instantly. He knew he played with fire making pacts with humans as the pacted servant and not the master. Lots of sorcerer have send him letters asking to speak with him or just plain out for a pact just because he was a minor sloth demon which somehow got control over all 7 Avatars as well as only has to say please to the demon prince and his butler to get his wish full filled. But his Luna was trustworthy and wouldn't use him for his status in the Devildom.

Now with his sketchbook secured he spun on his heels and started to walk back out of the room but stopped a moment. Looking over his shoulder the halfdemon smiled innocently confusing the sorcerer before announcing "But i have to agree. Your face is truly aestheticly beautiful and makes a great model to draw. Maybe i will consider your offer, Sorcerer."

After Icarus started walking to his next class, Devildom Botany, humming a small lullaby leaving a flustered sorcerer behind.

While I'm talking about social stuff I had to learn as an autistic person

There's a LOT of social interactions between human beings whose purpose really boils down to being like that thing dogs do where they go "omg YOU'RE a dog??? I'M a dog!!!!!" And that's not a bad thing. Highly ritualized "meaningless" displays of human connection like friendly greetings and talking about things like weather actually do serve a purpose which is like idk ritualized displays birds do. YOU'RE a human? Omg I'M a human!!!! Wow!!!

And they don't have to be your favorite flavor of interaction. You can even think they're silly. But they DO serve a purpose or else they wouldn't be a thing.

#'why do people ask how you are if they dont want to know' its a ritual display. a lot of things are ritual displays #this helps ME a lot bc in other animals i think ritual greeting displays are cute #so i can just port in that emotion when i frame human greeting displays like that lol

#art from a while back #i played hk first and deepnest was like. the most uncomfortable ive ever been playing the game #mainly because its just so DARK #as for rw... when i got to shaded...... what the actual Hell #i eventually got used to just dying in the dark and exploring the first parts of the region but like. I don't think I've really sat down and let enough sink in about how brutally real Riz's whole deal is this season. It's a kid raised by his single mother, reckoning with his father's absence, who never had any true friends until this gang of bumblefucks. And now he's faced with a future where his friends failing school is not the problem, no, what's really stressing him out is figuring out how the hell he gets it to where they all end up in the same place. How does he keep them together. Because at the end of the day simply passing isn't gonna cut it if they all go down different roads and he ends up alone all over again.

The feeling of being a kid who has been bullied their entire life, finally acquiring good friends who make you happy, and then the nauseating dread and panic when you start to realize that it can't last forever. Murph you fucking criminal.
