god im so glad you asked, ive been holding back the floodgates till somebody was interested

some minor spoilers if you haven't played project nexus 1 & 2

this is a big info dump so consider this a warning.

Im gonna separate the story into bullet points connected to each character.

Hank: Bandit/outlaw/bounty hunter. Standard stuff, killin, robbing and going after folks in auditors/phobos' gang. Its not hard to assume what hanks up to.

2bdamned: Doctor/gambler. Nobody knows if hes ever actually been to medical school but hes real good at his job so it doesn't matter to the crew. in the 1800's it was crazy common to die from infection so if your patients survived a lot the town would assume that it was 'the devils work' and that the doctor worshiped dark forces. so even though 2b had the common sense to disinfect his tools people stood clear of him. he used this fear to his advantage and likes to gamble in town, using the cash for medical supplies. hes real worried audi has gotten his hands on something dangerous.

Deimos: cowboy/outlaw. Hes an irish immigrant, he hated the city-life so he left to explore the developing west as a cowhand. He meets sanford as they're both working on herding cattle, the two of them quit to become outlaws/bounty hunters with hank. probably met in some sort of stick-up hank tried to pull on them.

Sanford: Cowboy/outlaw. (people usually estimate that 1/4 cowboys were black, but that isnt true. The men who owned the ranches would send their workers out to hide in the forest while the census was being taken to avoid taxes, so they were probably the majority. i really recommend looking it up so i dont make this post a mile long) Anyways, ford mainly worked as a cowhand/horse wrangler most of his life till he met deimos. both of them knew that they'd be unstoppable together as bounty hunters, leading them to join up with hank and 2b. (I can do some deimos/sanford hcs in another post if anyone wants it)

Auditor: business man/gambler. being made up of fire (or whatever hes made up with) isn't going to go unnoticed in the god-fearing west. so Audi stays up in his riverboat holding gambling events with people he can show himself around. He uses his wealth to buy property and expand his control, using Hoffnar as a sort of puppet to carry out his in-person transactions. People dont really even know audi exists. But he isn't just interested in gathering land, hes been collecting doctors and experimenting on people to figure out how to bring the dead back to life. (this part of the story is a bit loose, i haven't figured everything out yet)

Hoffnar/tricky: Doctor/business man. Sweet,tired Hoffnar, stuck under Auditor's thumb and forced to manage several towns of his growing estate. Townsfolk don't like him much, as most working class people tend to hate those who own everyone's property. Hes good friends with Jeb and sheriff, tending to stick around them and treat their injuries. Hes also very close to audi's resurrection project, giving a version of it to jeb before he defects(unknowingly infecting himself with it). He is blamed for Jeb's defection and is taken out to the middle of the desert where phobos kills him. but he lives on , succumbing into a feral zombie state, digging up graves and killing anyone who go out into the hills; spreading the infection.

Sheriff: Lawman. ive talked before a bit about how sheriff came down from the city with dreams of conquering the west. obviously this didn't pan out, but his charisma and likability showed to be an asset to auditor, who hired him to be the sheriff of his developing towns and keep the townsfolk compliant and quiet. in an attack to get a hold of auditor's recipe for resurrection, hank shoots sheriff in the head, killing him. but auditor decides to resurrect him, wanting to avoid losing control of the town in the aftermath of hoffnar's death. Sheriff can't remember dying but he has dreams of his brief time in purgatory. Auditor tells sheriff that jeb and hoffnar died in the shootout.

Jeb: Lawman/bodyguard. I Imagine jeb is from the south-west, working as a Vaquero and holding a good amount of medical knowledge. but the times called for different skills, leading him to work for the auditor. Jeb was hired to keep sheriff safe, (he may be the sheriff but hes not very good at it) posing as the deputy and acting as a last resort if hank and the crew managed to get past phobos' gang. you may assume whatever you like in regards to their relationship but i am a big sheriff x jeb liker, so when sheriff gets taken down at the shoot-out, jeb defects and vows to hunt hank down. Before he leaves, hoffnar gives him a primitive version of the resurrection recipe. but as he distances himself from auditor (and taking notice to tricky's antics) he decides to pick the lesser of the two evils and join up with the crew. absolutely taken aback when he sees sheriff alive (and not a zombie) he works with 2b to figure out how to use the resurrection recipe/use it to fix the impending zombie virus

Phobos: Outlaw/bandit. leader of the gang that inhabits auditors territory( this is where you'll find the mag agents and nexus g03lms), keeping out rival outlaws and anybody too nosy for their own good. the town believes sheriff is protecting them from this gang. phobos only has one eye that he protects behind custom goggles (glasses were not very advanced yet, so this is just unfeasible. but if i can have a fire-demon, i can stretch this) He carries out auditors orders to kill hoffnar, shooting him in the face and slicing his stomach open so the animals would take care of the body. He hates working under Audi, forced to do all the real dirty work while sheriff and jeb sit pretty in town.

shes blonde obviously (twobits blondes fetish) + her hairs long and down to her midback (not sure if shes a natural blonde or if she dyed it tho)

she has an older brother that’s a couple years older than her (he graduated and goes to college outside of oklahoma bc he won an athletic scholarship)

and theyre pretty close, his names roy

their last name is flynn and theyre irish

shes 17 and a senior at their highschool

she makes average and below average grades but she doesnt stress out ab school

shes that one senior thats always helping the freshmen get to their classes

shes pretty loud and outspoken and she always says what shes thinking (she always gets in trouble for running her mouth off in class)

shes super bubbly and most people like her (this balances out evies quieter personality)

shes known evie since kindergarten and theyve been best friends since then

their families have practically adopted each other they live on the same street too

kathys an enfj + evies an isfp

enfj’s are kind of like natural teachers, they love seeing others grow and develop, theyre amazing communicators and see the potential in everyone

however, if when helping someone, they “fail”, it becomes a failure on her part, bc she feels like its her fault as a bad teacher her reasons for helping someone, may not always have good intentions behind it

she focuses on the bigger picture, like ideas and concepts, rather than the finer, smaller details

as an enfj, kathy excels at reading other people and assessing their body language and emotions, and being able to quickly mirror it kathy has inattentive adhd (she cant stop talking sometimes, and other times shes not able to say a word)

she can never sit down and focus, she gets bored far too easily kathys always up for adventure and trying new things bc of that shes also really funny in kind of a mean way w/o trying too hard (unlike twobit)

she has a boston accent bc her parents moved from boston and so did her brother, and growing up around them gave her that accent + its really hot so idc if it doesnt make sense

on that note, the rest of her family lives in boston

she loves roller skating and field hockey

shes definitely the captain of the girls field hockey team

her favorite bands are led zeppelin, fleetwood mac, and the rolling stones

shes the girlboss, evie is gatekeep and angela is gaslight

her relationship w twobit is pretty funny, like half the time hes trying to annoy her and shes getting her revenge, and the other half theyre inseparable (life isnt normal if u havent witnessed kathy try to kill two at least once)

(in modern times) when kathys sad twobit does a king julien impression of king julien wanting to peg mort and it gets her laughing every time

u know the hot fish from finding nemo, yeah kathy would think so too

modern kathy would also have a thing for cillian murphy, no i dont accept criticism

she has a healthy relationship w her parents, and her family life is actually super healthy (theyre poor but theyre happy)

sometimes she gets upset w them bc she feels like they’re constantly comparing her to her brother

her family also likes twobit, even if they disapprove of his alcoholic tendencies

she works part-time as a waitress at a diner after school

twobit and evie stop by a lot to see her

(thats actually how twobit and her met, he started to frequent the diner afterwards bc of the hot waitress, but when he actually talks to her, he finds himself laughing at all of her jokes and he asks her out and she says yes)

she does have other friends besides evie and twobit, but theyre the only ones that have never managed to bore her

shes amazing at doing eye makeup, shes always trying out new glittery eyeshadows

she has red heart shaped sunglasses she wears all the time

she says “bitchin” a lot

she had a phase where she wanted to learn how to play the electric guitar, and she still remembers how to play it so she practices from time to time

her favorite color’s baby pink + pale yellow

shes an amazing storyteller, she knows exactly how to keep u guessing and how to make a mundane event sound amazing

she’s also a libra bc i said so

her favorite season is summer, even tho it’s hard to wear jeans in summer

(her favorite thing to wear is jeans)

summers the best bc she gets to blast music super loud and no one says anything + she gets to go on road trips which she lovesss

she has almost weekly movie nights w soda, steve, two and evie, and angela comes along half the time

ok! his name is setanta (no last name?), hes roughly 20/21 he isnt rlly sure, prns he/fae. hes from like... a planet thats based of irish mythos including the magic shit but is also steampunk. he was a hitman so he DEFINITELY has a criminal record

hes based off cú chulainn! whos name was originally setanta and was the og dogboy /j. the important thing to know is (TW FOR ANIMAL DEATH/HARM) he was going to this guys party (culainn) but since he was late bc he was at a hurling match the guard dogs attacked him and he killed them by hitting his sliotar (hurling ball? like a tennis ball but wayyyy harder) down their throats and choking them but culainn was obvi upset this kid killed his best guard dogs so setanta becane like. his bodyguard to make up fr ut. so mech-setanta killed culainns automaton guard dogs and became his hitman as repayment, and was then killed by wolves later

7. what tropes are they. dont say that they are not any trope. you know they are some kind of trope

uhhh "stoic killer with a soft spot" ig? or maybe "funny guy but his humour is actually a front for his Issues" i havent decided which yet i only invented him tonight

Theres different reasons behind these

For Medda she tells her stories about her exprience in theatre and Smalls finds them really nice since Medda’s voice is really soothing and she ususally falls asleep listening to her voice

When she was freaked out over a horror movie he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her close and well she found it really nice, eventually falling asleep since it was warm there and she was freezing and she relaxed a lot too

When she first moved in she couldn’t sleep that night and went downstairs to get water and then Spot came down cause he couldn’t sleep either (it was 3 am) and he helped her reach a glass and he just let her crash with him for the night (she fell asleep quick)

When Smalls felt sick one night she went down and cuddled with Crutchie since she couldn’t sleep and she ended up falling asleep quickly like that

When her brothers friends spend the night she always tries to avoid the mess

But fails

One of her brothers will always drag her in

OKAY BUT WHEN HER BROTHERS GO OFF TO COLLEGE SHE IS SO HAPPY FOR THEM

When she goes off to college she goes to NYU for nursing

consider this: SMH & one direction

i just wanna talk about smh and 1d ok im so sorry this wasnt supposed to be this long i have no control

dex grew up with sisters (let me have this he has a bunch of sisters ok) so not only was he completely unable to escape one direction he was not allowed to get away with any sort of ‘bands that have mainly young female fanbases are not real music’ misogyny that lots of teen boys and adult males have

so he likes 1d he doesnt advertise but he had to listen to them a lot so he knows their entire discography and what they have some good songs ok bro

so yeah they find their way into his workout playlists so fucking what man they’re fucking hype songs

his fave is niall bc hes chill and just wants to drink beer and play his guitar and listen to dad rock and he’s irish (dex is irish and is grandma loves niall bc she’s irish and what a sweet young lad) he’s not like die hard niall stan but he knows all of the 1d discourse from his sisters debating (im willing to listen to other opinions my back up is louis bc hes a punk)

he save up one year (and got help from his fam) to get tickets for his sisters to see a wwa concert as a birthday/christmas/every holiday present bc theyre expensive and they dont have a lot of money

his mom technically bought the tickets he just helped pay for them and the girls surprised him with a ticket for him to come with (mama poindexter: well i cant let them go alone who’s gonna watch them you have to go make sure they dont get arrested for doing something stupid) dex played it cool but it was such a fun concert and so fun to hang out with his sisters tooo

nursey now is a goddamn hipster u cant tell me he isnt into a bunch of british alternative bands and bc of his brit music phase he knew about one direction from the very start at the x factor stage (he definitely mentions this all the goddamn time when they start becoming popular but he chills out through the years)

hes been to at least one concert for every tour (he even got tickets to the madison square garden show) - he went to every concert with his sister but it was his idea to go and she was just there to keep an eye on him

also a big reason he got into the band was zayn like heres a pakistani muslim boy who’s super talented with these white dudes and that representation is super important (i also hc nursey as muslim or at least partially but zayn is a brown muslim boy killing it so yeah its awesome)

but nurseys fave tho is harry especially when harry is a total hoe with long hair and jewelry and those red carpet looks like nursey is in love but also in awe bc those sparkly boots and that floral suit like those are iconic Looks™ and nursey loves it bc gender isnt real and he loves hoe looks (zayn is like 1.5 tho bc nursey is in love)

nursey tries to serenade dex with little things one day when they’re chilling by the pond on the grass and dex punches him bc nursey is making him emo even when he knows dex doesnt have emotions (in public in front of people who can see him cry)

bitty likes them they’re no beyonce but theyre fun and attractive and yeah hes gonna have some fun dancing to them he isn’t really up with all the drama and disc*urse until the boys have 1d nights and they watch this is us and the concert dvds bc he learns a lot

he loves 2013 era harry and all the time liam (that boy is thicc and bitty 100% does not swoon)

holster like come tf on holster loves them he unironically and passionately loves one direction completely unashamed he does not care for your opinions and no one makes fun of him bc he’s a 6′4 fucking big ass hockey player who could drop kick u across campus if he wanted to

he claims he doesnt have a fave but he would die for all of them

his fave rotates seasonally and he has a different fave for each era

he went to the tmh tour and he’s gone to every tour since - he goes with his sisters bc its a bonding topic for them he sits at the edge of the floor or at the end of a row on the sides bc hes so tall he feels so bad and he tries to stay out of the way of the little girls behind him but hes nice to them and talks to them and so they like him even if hes a giant

but really he and his sisters are so close bc they have a lot of similar interests and they talk about pop culture stuff and its hard to keep intouch when hes away so much but they have group chats about 1d and tv shows and stuff so its so nice for them to keep up a strong bonding time

ransom is a britney bitch and holster dragged him into 1d. he’s in it for the memes and the drama really. (he likes the songs and thinks its fun but he wouldnt have been a fan and gone to concerts if it wasnt for holtz)

holster takes him to the wwa concert and they have a blast

holster also drags his ass to see this is us opening night (they both cry)

chowder just loves everyone and he doesnt understand why people hate 1d (or other pop artists with majority young female fan bases that ppl hate bc misogyny) when theyre so fun he’s not an active /fan/ until smh has team bonding nights involving one direction jam sessions and concert dvd watching and drunk history

on such 1d nights they put on one of the dvds and it accidentally turns into a drinking game (mainly drinking bc this part of my god did u see that !!! THAT NOTE CHANGE !!!! and ZAYN WHY !!!! and other painful parts) and some of them *cough* nursey dex and holster *cough* get possibly the most drunk they ever get bc of this

theres loud awful drunk singing along and some sobbing (this is definitely not based off of any sort of personal experience whatsoever nope never done this before)

after the movie when everyone is so drunk they talk about 1d history which is how the veterans teach the others about the exciting drama and disc*urse

lardo is a bad bitch who is tough as fuck and manages a division I mens hockey team and every single one of them is afraid of her. AND she would not let any bro tease her for liking one direction bc why the fuck not.

she has plenty of their songs thrown in arting playlists and in pump up playlists

and she knows theres nothing better to cheer holster up when he’s having a rough day than a 1d dance sesh

dont forget where you belong is the first song on her team bonding playlist bc its a love song to ur bandmates which transfers very well to love songs to ur teammates

shitty unapologetically loves 1d and boy bands and girl bands and he supports all things that young girls love but are not taken seriously bc girls like them

he’s written at least 3 papers/projects on the misogyny surrounding young girls and their interests and involvement in fandom and also boybands (he tries to fight all guys who disrespect girls’ interests and the power of teenage girls)

they walk back to the lax bro house without executing the prank and they never mention it again
