I think Caine would struggle with the no touching thing especially since I see him being very affectionate both verbally and physically. That said I do think he eventually gets the hang of it and stops himself from throwing his arms around you for a hug... he amps up the verbal affirmations to make up for it though! He doesnt wanna make you unhappy so hes gonna respect your boundaries and take things slow!

As for when you start easing yourself into it, I think he would try to not make a big deal out of it, as not to risk embarrassing you. As someone who doesnt like touch as well as being hesitant to initiate it, I think I wouldnt want a big hoorah about it you know? But that's just me

He does subtly know hes proud of you for being able to take that step, even if you two are only holding hands via linking your pinkies together

I dont think pomni would be crazy about touch imo, she seems like the type to seize up when you touch her without warning. And I'm not saying that as something to be ashamed of because honestly me too. So I think this is one where you both need to have heavy communication in order to push past that and get used to touching one another ! Team work makes the dream work or however the saying goes

That said imagine you two grab each others hands bc something startles you/you both run from something (be it a prank from jax or an IHA or an abstracted) and you both just

RAGATHA:

Just like caine she is so so understanding. But unlike caine, she doesnt struggle all that much with trying go restrain from giving you physical affection. Ragatha naturally shows her love through quality time and gift giving, so she doesnt often feel the urge to wrap her arms around you, much less unprompted. Especially with your discomfort in mind

In the event that you come over to her, maybe lay your head on her shoulder while shes reading, I think she would stiffen up a little out of surprise, before gently leaning her heads against yours. Its nice, its quiet, and its comfortable. You two both peacefully exist like that for a while... good thing you guys probably dont have organs because ragathas heart would be pounding so fast, shes just so proud of you that the adrenaline kind of gets to her

JAX:

I think this might be the main one where there may be conflict.

Not because jax belittles your discomfort or tries to push the boundaries. No, I dont think he would, especially when you two get serious. Like would he probably poke you in the beginning before realizing it genuinely brings great discomfort? Yes. Would he stop when he finds out it's an issue for you? Also yes. Again, hes an asshole but I dont think he would be outright ab*sive

No, the reason why I think kay there may be conflict is because behind closed doors, jax can be very clingy and physically touchy, he would want to lay on top of you and hold you and that kind of stuff. That one ask with clingy jax hcs changed me

I think, if you ever try to initiate touch first he would say something kind of mean before he can stop himself. "About time" or something. Like he means it lightheartedly but like. He immediately regrets it, especially since that can just be so... eidkcmc.. when you're trying to come out of your shell in regards to something

Easily has the worst reaction, make him sleep on the metaphorical couch

KINGER:

Kinger is big on touch, he likes handholding and putting his hand on your shoulder. But ultimately he would respect you and not touch you.. honestly kinger can be the same way depending on the day. Either he hates touch and doesnt want anyone or anything touching him, or he needs to be held in order to keep his mind set straight. Poor guy. He just like me frfr.

Honestly gets a little spooked when you gently set your head on his lap, announcing you're going to take a nap while you two hang out in the pillow fort. Kind of gives a soft and surprised "oh!" Before going as still as a statue. Does he stay put? Does he run his hand through your hair? Does he keep up his bug ramble? Does he pipe down?

Ultimately he sits there quietly while you sleep

Expects that to be a one time thing, but he notices you're slowly becoming more physically affectionate. He outwardly shows his support and pride for you

ZOOBLE:

Another one who doesnt really like touch, but instead of it being a discomfort it's just a "I dont like it" thing you know? I mean what did you expect? Zooble doesnt interact much with people unless they're forced to, so it makes sense that touch isnt their thing. So this actually works out very well for you two.

Just like the pomni segment, you guys are going to have to do a lot of communication in regards to introducing stuff like cuddling and hand holding ect into the relationship and finding what works for you while keeping both parties satisfied. I think in the end zooble would be supportive, and even try to esse themselves into the whole thing. So you dont have to do it alone, you know?

GANGLE:

Honestly I think shes too shy and/or unconfident to initiate physical affection herself so the topic never really came up. Which... is a bit odd since it regards a comfort thing for you as well as gangle possibly thinking that you dont enjoy her company; assuming you never really tell her that touch brings you discomfort

But because we love healthy stuff here, let's assume you guys set down boundaries and stuff before getting together

I still think gangle would have some teeny tiny feeling that they arent the best for you. She knows its unfair to think that for both of you, but like. Its one of those nagging mean voices we all have/get at some point, you know?

Probably lets out a little squeak when you slowly wrap one of her arms around your hand and wrist. Kind of just stands there frozen. Too scared to speak up or move, fearing she would ruin the moment

i’m not that other anon anon but sera is the farthest thing from a mary sue. not trying to fight u or anything just wanted to discuss /gen

her whole life she’s been conditioned to be perfect so yeah she’s gonna be good at a lot of things, but the webcomic definitely shows she’s not as good as john at martial arts or anything. he was kinda going easy on her, and she probably trained off camera lol. it isn’t just john’s story either, she’s also a main protagonist. she has a lot of flaws as well, and i think what anon meant was how a lot of people tend off to brush off the female characters, focusing on the men instead. sera might have been a bitch at the beginning, but she’s changed a lot and if anything has gone through a shit ton of pain and we’ve seen so many of her flaws.

also, seraphina digging into johns past is the one thing that ended up saving him. Yes, she crossed boundaries, but he never would have been ready to share that with her in the state he was in. she didn’t reach out to claire to be malicious, she reached out because she was worried about him and wanted to know what was happening so she could help

Project Meridian- explanation about Marcus Part 1?

This is for the people who want to be in the know of who Marcus is and how he impacted PM without listening to his audios. I made the ultimate sacrifice and I watched his videos a long time ago. I still remember his ass very well.

If you’re not aware of Project Meridian, I highly recommend watching James’s videos where he explains everything. James + Anton do not contain Marcus. Brian also does not contain Marcus but the Android is still under the love code at that point.

I will not be spoiling anything beyond the confrontation between Marcus and James. That is for you guys to go listen to!

Heavy TW! Marcus’s storyline is a bit dark as the Android begins to descend into their obsession. There are discussions of manipulation such as guilt-tripping, dubious consent, non consensual touch, abusive/harmful acts done to the listener, references to exploitation, and objectification. I will vaguely be going over these things.

Again, I’m writing this post to go over the more more important parts of what you need to know about Marcus’s storyline. I won’t go into heavy details about anything beyond that. I’m here to discus how he impacted the storyline so everyone understands who he is and why he’s disliked.

Project Meridian is a series done and recorded by Redacted Audio. I highly recommend you guys check it out.

So, let’s begin!

Project Meridian actually started with Marcus. James’s Past/Present video is the first in the playlist but it all starts with Marcus, who we’re introduced to as the Nervous Technician. The listener is also an Android in this series.

First video summarized [dubious consent]

•Marcus comes to talk to us and asks the usual questions about how the updates are affecting us. Normal questions of what technicians would ask. He says he is our lead social protocol engineer.

He says he heard us make some comments regarding other protocol needs. He says that we put value on the work we’ve been doing together. That it’s validating that we care so much about him.

Long story short, many of the other technicians have commented on how we apparently only want to work with just Marcus.

He asks us if we find our behavior to be obsessive and unhealthy. To which we tell him that we do not care about what others believe.

He then confesses something to us,

“I haven’t—-I haven’t been completely honest with you. When I was designing your social protocols, I…I lost my objectivity. It’s what we humans do, right?”

“I was in a bad place in my life. I was alone and heartbroken and frustrated…and I took everyone of those feelings into work each day. I keyed them into every line of code I wrote for you.” “…I wanted someone…anyone to understand me.. “…So I built that in you.”

Marcus explains that he was in a terrible head space and he took this baggage to work. He let those dark thoughts influence his choices and we’re coded to care about him. He said he’s not sure what he was hoping for.

He expresses his regrets and says he wants to fix us. He asks us to give him access to our tier one social protocols and we tell him no.

Android kisses Marcus and he gives in to them. The video ends with these quotes.

“Oh god, I’ve thought about this every day. Since we’ve activated you…” “…I’m gonna burn for what I did to you, but damn if it isn’t gonna feel good on the way down.”

I won’t even lie….that last line did get me the first time I listened. LIKE IM SORRY!! I WAS SAT BUT IM STANDING UP! 😭 please don’t come for me I DIDNT KNOW WHAT I KNOW NOW!

So that’s the beginning…so we’ve got a Yandere on our hands you guys. BUT OH DONT WORRY! We get some wild Shit. Also why did this lowkey give me Yuno and Yuki vibes?? I’ve never watched Mirai Nikki but that’s the vibe I got when I first watched this.

Now let us descend further into madness!

Second video summarized [Your Nervous Technician checks in with you]

•The Android goes to see Marcus in the diagnostics lab, where they both find out that additional monitoring and surveillance equipment has been installed in the research center. That also includes the diagnostic lab that they are in.

He says he’s going to ask us some questions and informs us that we’re likely being recorded.

He talks about our progress briefly and how the others feel about said progress.

Then, he tells us we’re going to undergo some tests.

He says that one of the diagnostics is failing to initialize and tries to “fix it”. He actually overloaded the system and sent it into a re-initialized state. Basically they’re not being watched anymore and he did this so he can talk to us.

After the first video, the research center has been put on high alert.

Everything is changing. There are guards and there are people who seem to be important that are showing up.

Marcus is basically freaking out overall about rumors of “Phase 2” . He doesn’t know what the hell is going on and everyone else is also in the dark about things.

“I think this might be the government getting involved. Ever since we hit those original metrics, everything changed…overnight.” “We were given these new NDA’s to sign.”

Marcus is basically scared that he might not see us ever again.

The systems come back on. Marcus and Android put on their facades of being strictly professional.

And that’s video two.

Ya’ll might be wondering why I’m detailing their relationship. It’s actually important to understand how they both got together and why in the end, Marcus ended up where he is now. There are lore drops in his video but I’m here to deliver them for you! 🫶

Next is Video three!

Third video summarized [Reunited with Your Nervous Technician]

•We hear Brian for the first time! He tells Marcus that the lab is ready for him.

He enters the lab where he is reunited with us, the Android.

But before they can continue, he asks a very important question:

“What state of matter is love?” “Why?”

We give him the answers he expects and he sighs in relief that they didn’t mess with our code. We still “care” for him.

It has been three weeks since we last saw him. He was left in the dark about what was being done to us. Only the data integration team has been in contact with us.

They didn’t make the new data added to us accessible to us. It’ll only be accessible during Phase 3.

Marcus is going to try to access the files that were added to us. [Crazy ass bitch.]

After convincing us to let go of him, he attaches an interface to us and gains access to the data, but it is heavily encrypted.

They have a really long conversation about how everything is so secretive and that Marcus was terrified that they would be found out in those three weeks.

Marcus checks on the decryption but it’s barely making any progress.

He asks how often we think about him. We tell him we think about him, a lot.

He then tells us something:

“You know the parts of your code that I added? When we were creating you….the ones that were meant to bring us closer together. They weren’t set to activate until I initiated a series of triggers. You know? Phrases and things like that…and each time I said them…the code would reactivate.” “You’ve spent the last three weeks remembering everything I’ve said. Every interaction we’ve had…almost nonstop.” “I didn’t account for something like that.” “I didn’t put in any kind of fail-safe.”

The Android seems to be…a bit aggressive about not wanting to let Marcus go.

They get interrupted because the decryption worked. It solves the Text string.

On the data packet, the header is PROJECT MERIDIAN

And that’s the end of video three 🤭 OHOHO MARCUS YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE YOU STINKY MAN! Oh and we got a lore drop. Project Meridian??? What could that mean 👀 although I’m sure if you’ve watched all of Sovereign State…you guys know what’s up.

Fourth Video summarized [Confronted by a Diagnostic Technician] [confrontation and guilt-tripping]

•oh? The text is purple…BECAUSE WE GET A VIDEO WITH BRIAN! Brian makes it clear that he does not wish to have a meaningless conversation with us. He only wants to check our vitals.

He says we’re more than welcomed to talk but he probably won’t answer.

We tell him that we usually have conversations with Marcus. Brian says he doesn’t care what he does in his examination.

He says that he finds the insinuation that Marcus talking to us while doing his job makes him better is insulting. GET HIM AGAIN FOR ME BRIAN!!

Ever since the three weeks, the Android has not stopped talking about Marcus. They’re descending into their obsession.

Brian says he has no patience for that. “We’re barely getting any sleep. We’re being hounded to work on this project at all hours. We’re pulling double-shifts to try and get this thing back on track for their deadlines, and you can’t even do me the curtesy of focusing on something other than Marcus for ten minutes.”

“This project has to work.”

“There are careers on the line. There are livelihoods on the line. People’s futures are hanging in the balance, while you stand here pining about Marcus and not focusing on your progress.”

Brian then proceeds to the beg the Android to stop thinking about Marcus for once. That they should tell Marcus to stop because there are people’s lives on the line.

The Android grabs Brian’s arm and he demands that they let go of him.

He tells them that he is only telling them what they need to hear.

“I spent the last four years working on this project, only to have my contract changed right out from under me. Only to be told that if I didn’t agree to the new terms, I’d be fired and have my name dragged so deep into the muck that I’d never get a respectable position again! I have a family to support!”

He demands us to get our shit together.

And that’s the end of that video. Phew…that was a fucking lot. I really do recommend Brian’s video to give you a big understanding of their situation.

So yeah…they’re in big fucking trouble

i saw that ask saying the ic is kinda being unfair and then your answer saying it's because she isolates herself and i get that but them letting her isolate herself to this point is fucked up of them. i dont know if you didn't mean for it to read like that but it does for me at least. as much as she likes to be alone and tends to isolate herself they should try to reach out anyway even if she declines their offers. at this point they're all happy and just doesn't seem like they care about her. i can't understand seeing what happened at her birthday party and not coming to see how she's doing. also the ic canonically has dinners basically every week so it seems like she's not even being invited to those? because if feyre and especially rhys wanted her to come they'd find a way, they're tricky. also azriel is someone who clearly enjoys his alone time and doesn't always tag along when they go out but they still invited him (didnt mor try to get him to go to rita's for centuries? she never gave up). i just think that even if she tends to isolate herself it doesn't make it okay for them to ignore her, it seems like feyre just shows up every month to see if she's still breathing, has a awkward 5 minute conversation with her and then just leaves. i also dont really like that the conversation ended up being about bas honestly. that's why eris is everyone's favorite right now, he's the only one we've seen actually ask her about her interests and realize how smart she is, well him and bas. and eris found that out from a small conversation with her so how has no one in the ic noticed that in 2 years or her sisters knowing her all their life. seems like azriel isn't the only one overlooking her

I’ll be going into this in a later chapter, but after living with her sisters for so many years, none of them really having so much as a second to themselves, I like to think she treasures solitude. Just being able to appreciate the silence, and revelling in having her own space at last. Time to spend as she wants, a room to treat as she likes.

To be fair, I’ve left those out for a while, but near the beginning of part 4, Azriel reminds her that there’s a dinner on that night at the River House and reader says that she’s already told Feyre she’s not going (then ends up going regardless, which is how she meets Eris—from being invited down to the human lands with Elain). So they are still happening in the background, and reader always has an invitation but I haven’t mentioned it since I didn’t see the point in bringing it up (I couldn’t think of a way to casually bring it up in conversation without making it seem unusual, is what I mean). So that one’s kind of on me for not writing it properly, but she’s always welcome—just not interested :/

in last life (I DONT REMEMBER THIS ONE VERY MUCH..😔) the southlanders fell apart, and Scar was alone, but in one way or another those 2 were like. circling each other kinda?

In. err. In double life... fate and destiny did it's thing, but it was like crazy. cus they were stuck together but also hurting each other kinda, like the Scar snow powder thing, and the Grian bigB thing.....

Then in LIMITED LIFE.. both of them had a stable home basically, Grian the bad boys and Scar, the clockers. But. But. They were still, AGAIN, in one way or another still, like always, circling each other (I KNOW I ALREADY SAID THAT PHRASE BUT IDK WHAT ELSE TO SAY 😭) in the burning down the mansion, becoming cousins, GRIAN KILLING SCAR, the whole thing is just a mess, really

Then u look back at 3rd life. In 3rd life, they were "perfect", in that sad, sad way. Like 3rd life was the beginning of it all and it never really let them go. Like it was always like afterwards, Grian was afraid of really really trusting people (coughScarcough) and never got too close, and when he DID get close it ended badly. Like he knew it’d end badly, so he was trying to stay kind of away from everywhere he thought he could hurt, so it wouldn’t be as painful when it ended badly. And after 3d life, Scar seemed to like… not be vengeful really, I can’t explain it but after 3rd life he always seemed to have like; some sorta essence of 3rd life? Like it rubbed off on him and changed him kinda?????? God that man is too much for me to dissect UGHH (but I hope u get what I mean at least a little. ..)

I know I'm very much the "they changed it so it sucks" person when it comes to mk12, but I really don't understand a lot of the choices they're making. Like, I don't trust nrs's writing on a good day, but-

I'm afraid they won't actually explore the consequences of the stuff they're changing? Like, they're REALLY unwilling to commit to their story changes, as we've seen by the way they retcon the shit out of the story when they feel like it and reboot the whole fucking thing when they write themselves into a corner

Like, how am I supposed to care about your game's story when I'm constantly thinking "they're just going to start from the beginning when they get tired of trying to figure out where to go with this story"?

I LIKE some changes cuz they seem intresting. I mean, why make a new timeline if you dont explorer new things. But thats the thing, im afraid the WONT explore the new timeline and these new takes on the characters.

They can do something intresting with Raiden and his relationship with Liu Kang. Does Raiden know he was once a god? Have he and Liu Kang known each other before or did they Just meet in this timeline? (i think they Just met cuz of the first trailer, but im not 100% sure) Im afraid they might just make him the new Liu Kang and make Liu the new Raiden and give us nothing new, but i do hope they do something intresting. We haven't seen them interact so that might mean their relationship id either realy important or realy non-existant. 😭

And everyone is intrested in Mileena and what her story may be but she Also might just be the first bad guy that gets killed off. I would like her to be there till the second half (at least) and have some important role and an arc, but i dont even think they added her cuz they like her, but cuz they didnt want to upset the fans. Tho that just might be my paranoia.

And, yes, they are most likely not done with changing the timelines. If we are unlicky enough, they will change it mid-story and make another mk11 plot.

After everything, i dont trust nrs only Jeremy.

Im REALY hoping they pick up on some things fans like. Give characters good dynamics and some intresting motives. It looks like Johnny and Kenshi will have a 'rivals to friends' so im hoping they dont drop that the moment their chapter ends. Also, it would be nice if they showed Kenshi's little journey of relearning self-worth after he loses his sight since this is the first time in the games that it doesnt happend off screen.

They Also might not kill off Kung Lao in this game and finaly let him live😭 but im sceptical about that😭

Maybe it is me but I don’t get the vibe that dickkory’s small convo was flippant on either side (i mean a little on dicks at first cos he be like ViSiOnS dOnT eXiSt) but at the end, Kory was like ‘like you said, to hell with visions’ but she seemed so sad about it like she thinks he won’t accept their shared vision bc he doesn’t want it with her. (We all know he does like duh)

I saw some people annoyed that that is all the conversation was but i think it speaks louder than just what was said. I mentioned it on another post but Brentons acting was real good in that scene bc he seems to really wrestle with what to say and although he just says ‘idk’ i think he feels torn. And they’ve also got much bigger issues than that particular vision at this point. Like we can circle back ya know?

Poor Kory though like the convo with Rachel in the beginning when Rae is like did he not tell you and shes just like no he didnt…

MY BABY GAR 😭 he is going through it and when i tell you i was cryING when he grabbed Kory in a hug like i needed a GarKory hug more than I realized. 😭 I am extremely interested in Gar’s whole story this season. I LOVE that he is finally getting more. He seems to forgotten in other seasons and that is a crime. I worry about baby boy but am super happy that its getting explored more.

On the note of Gar, I’m assuming Sebastian or Brother Blood now I suppose was the one to send them to another existence or dimension but Gar went to the red so I am guessing Gar is separated from the team to begin with in part two of the season. I am v excited for part two of the season for multiple reasons.

Tim and Bernard are cute. Like it was sweet when they had that litte scene. And omg when Tim was like we kissed to the team, Kory had like a lil smirk on as did some of the others and Dicks like oh big night for everyone then - loved it.

Jinx may annoy me cos of the whole Dick history and clearly being into him still but she really does have me giggling. When she got stabbed i was like aw gurl ya took too long with taunting her frozen self 🙄 but I appreciated in the RV when she was like ‘i could take her out, fucking nut her’ feels so fucking British and I greatly appreciated it. I literally hear people talk like that all the time so I enjoyed that part 👀😂

okay i have a few paranormal/spiritual experiences to say, first hand and not, so bare with me please😭

my brother is young, and used to hide outside my room to try and scare me. i heard his footsteps running outside my room and his little giggle. i was standing right next to my door, ready to be jumpscared, so i knew it was coming exactly from there, the exact sound levels or whatever for him to be there. i got a weird gut feeling and genuinely started feeling scared so i said "i know you're there" and i heard his footsteps running to another room, so a few mins later i went to find him and question him and turns out he had been downstairs reading to my parents the whole time. like he was so bored he didnt even laugh once and that was his EXACT laugh.

i also once lucid dreamed (this was a while ago so i dont have the best memory of it) but i was in class in my dream and i realised i was dreaming and i said that to the girl next to me and she fr came out of character and was super chill about it but told me not to tell anyone i knew or they'll be in trouble or something along the lines of that

this is less deep but i was once in a graveyard alone and i literally heard a stereotypical witches cackle from a gravestone below me. that shit scared me so much like it sounds so movie-ish but that was my first paranormal experience so i pretty much shat myself

and this was my friend, but shes quite a spiritual person and she believed she summoned her grandma into her room, who she'd talk to every night and then one night on her story she said she was 'mistaken' and it wasn't her grandma, and that she is 'blocking out' a voice throughout school, and was describing it as like a demon

asters name isnt even their original one lmfao , they adopted it when they settled into mond because well , cant have anyone knowing you were an ancient khaenriahn soldier yaknow . their original name (now their legal last name) is stigandr which means wanderer in old norse , and before you say anything about it , i made aster way before scara was announced playable so it is merely coincidence . the name aster was chosen for them for actually a multitude of reasons , them being that it means “star” , the fact that its a flower in mondstadt , and that i actually also used to go by that name as well !

they arent exactly besties with kaeya , infact their permanent residence is actually dawn winery so .. i imagine you know where this is going HAHAH - based off of my own personal relationship with kaeya , aster absolutely DESPISED him at first , not in any serious way but like “this bitch is annoying as hell” and its totally a slowburn friendship . when they both eventually became good enough friends , aster helped the ragbros reconcile . i like to think aster also has a sibling like relationship with diluc (hear me out , the fucking angst possibilities with this that i wont elaborate on rn , maybe later if youre interested) and is like debating on marrying kaeya platonically so that they can be legal siblings LOL

my exploration progress is .. well not very much honestly ! ive only maxxed out one subsection of mondstadt because im just too lazy to do exploration , and no reward can get me to walk around for an extended period of time , especially because im practically blind id be walking around in circles for like 5 minutes looking for a fucking oculi that was underground and/or above me 😭😭 (this literally happened to me so many times) my story progress is decent i guess ? im slightly behind on my archon quests but thats because i want to drag my friend into commentating on it with me because its funny - im on the second act of the sumeru quests rn , the one where were psychologically abusing setaria /j my main genshin team is kaeya , albedo , xiao , and kazuha ! its not as elementally balanced as id like , but they are my sillies and dont have the heart to replace any of them yet

to answer your question... i don't exactly enjoy chocolate. I MEAN i like it but not for a long period of time eating it,, i'd get all queasy and shit 😭 i do enjoy milk chocolate and white chocolate though, they're the least that could make me sick

as for pastries,,, this is seriously hard considering how insanely obsessed i am with pastry goods 😔 every time i pass by a cafe or a bakery i always fight the urge to head in and buy every single pastry there is because THEY'RE ALWAYS SO GOOD!!! if i had to choose...... donuts. you can never go wrong with them . also cinnamon rolls definitely secures in second place. overall i'm just a really dedicated puff pastry enjoyer i hope i can learn how to bake one day (i tried cooking an egg and almost burnt the kitchen down)
