ooo okay so this one is interesting because hes not as lax and social as hoodie is, but hes not hostile to you. sometimes pockets the sweets you give him and snacks on them over the course of a few days if its something thats easily transportable or something (think homemade candies or small cookies).. nods approvingly when he gets around to trying it. he can speak but like you he doesnt do it much, so he can relate to your silence... gives you a thumbs up when you do talk.. he doesnt want to make a big deal out of it since... well he doesnt think its that much of a big deal but also, he doesnt want you to possibly get overwhelmed and not speak again.. does that make sense? speaking from my personal experiences here tbh

HOODIE:

i like to think sometimes he picks flowers on his way to you so you can make a crown, small stuff like that since he knows your interests and wants you to flourish in them/be able to do them... plus you can find loads of cool/pretty flowers all over the place where hes going (....half of the plants he gives you are weeds.. but its the thought that counts). similar to the other two, he understands your quietness, in my hc hoodie doesnt talk at all, rather he communicates through writing and sign language! while masky is a bit more uptight about routine and stuff, hoodie can be a little more relaxed about that sort of thing. loves the treats you make, he has a sweet tooth. teaches you sign language, generally a useful skill to have esp since he uses it to communicate + it gives you something to speak through if you cant verbally express it.. you guys probably bake together in the kitchen, you guys both experiment with recipes

i was going to type out a huge post about the stage since i snuck in one last full watch before it went away but tumblr killed my post as i was making it and i don’t feel like making another one lol

so new encounter thoughts: clifnotes version!!!!! it’s fitting bc that’s what this stage was anyway lol

i enjoyed myself!!!!! i wasn’t disappointed by any performances, tho since i was ride or die for akira ichiro and ayukawa jakurai, i felt those losses keenly lol. i was also surprised how much i felt like i was missing aramaki sasara watching this play lol. there were some changes to the origin stories, ofc lol, but the stage has always had superior bb takes so i really appreciate them changing ichiro’s more shallow dismissal of his bros in canon to him being scared for them after what happened with samatoki and chuuoku. it’s his biggest conflict in these battles so i appreciate them making it a primary focus

i read a tweet from a fan idk who they originally stanned but said they were considering becoming a hama lady after the stage and abso-fcking-lutely LOL uehara-san is incredible as samatoki, yuki-san can also inspire the masses with his looks and dancing and flow and tho stage rio didn’t have much presence in the play, him opening his heart to samatoki thru their battle and then teaming up with the both of them after fighting together is a great slight change to their origin story

*slams thru the wall like the kool aid man* AND THE NEW BAT HAIYUU ARE ACTUALLY MAGNIFICENT like backwards order since i have Things to say about nakanishi kuukou lol but nakatsuka-san’s hitoya is very cool!!!! his voice envokes almost the same amount of hype takeuchi-san’s voice does for me, like it’s deep and rough when he’s going and it’s sooooooo good. stage hitoya in the legends era cared for jyushi certainly, but i don’t think he flat out babied jyushi as much as he did in new encounter like my god lmao. it might be more indicative of the difference between actor’s personalities lol and i suppose hitoya did try to get kuukou to lighten up on jyushi when they first got started. also, there was this look he gave kuukou when kuukou started to goad him into being on his team that exuded cool charisma i think nakatsuka-san might be another actor too cool for hitoya LOL

i didn’t think it was possible for a jyushi to be even more baby than daigo-san’s but goddamn i think sakayori-san managed it LOL and again i do think some of that is bc of the source material they were adapting. i saw reports that new encounter jyushi was kinda spoiled by his team and i could see the undercurrents of that in the way kuukou would pat his back when getting up or the way jyushi would lean into hitoya and hitoya would actually wrap an arm around him lol. but i’m not complaining ITS CUTE. sakayori-san’s silhouette is so crazy like his build i think is exactly the way i envisioned jyushi’s so i kept vibrating out of my seat whenever he did a flourish and i got to see his figure lmao. i saw a report commenting that he needed to work on his vkei mode voice bc it was hard to differentiate and maybe???? idk i could tell the difference just fine, even if his voices don’t have as much of a gap as sakakihara-san or daigo-san’s

i want to throw up out of excitement thinking about nakanishi kuukou which is how i know he’s officially part of the kuukou brainrot LOL he’s kuukou!!!!!! he is so purely kuukou that everything i feel about kuukou is pushed onto him and i feel like i should apologise rn bc that comes with a heaping dose of objectification!!!!!! but it’s chill!!!!!!! *kicks down a wall* HES GOT MUSCLE ON HIS TINY FRAME!!!!!!!!!!!! like when he gets going going, that jacket starts slipping off and the camera caught just the right angle and lighting to show the contours on his arm muscles and i started yelling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thick neck thick calves thick arms HES BUFF!!!!!!! BLESS NAKANISHI-SAN!!!!! and thankfully it’s not for the aesthetic like he’s athletic asf too with jump kicks backflips air somersaults and the like. he is probably the best person to have gotten the role after someone like hirono-san, whose kuukou has shaped the character so thoroughly that even in this new stage, direction choices were made to preserve the hype his kuukou envokes. if the writing on nakanishi kuukou stays the course, it’d honestly be a bonus to have that extra hype kuukou lol. and on that note

now it’s just an origin story so there’s plenty of time for shit to go awry but rn i’m feeling massively satisfied lol. there were some lines that were raising my hackles but frfr??? that’s just me being sensitive after all these years lol it’s fine. no nod to kuukou’s history with ichiro but tbh i don’t come to the stage for that lol but it made me think of the complaint that nagosaka’s get together story felt rushed compared to the other divisions. and they were lol but i’m not sure if that’s the stage’s fault or the source material. on bat’s side, bc they formed nagosaka alongside the og teams in the stage, ramuda’s development thru bat got axed in favour of jyushi falling for rei’s scam that brought dh together. it’s a choice that further isolates nagosaka so while within the stage narrative it makes sense (does jyushi’s character a disservice tho), it kinda annoys me thinking about the long term lol but it’s probably not going to matter in the long term either so ultimately it’s fine. i guess. maybe lol

one last nakanishi-san ramble and i’m done lol but that fanservice part really showed off his charm lol like when he rolled up on some fans arms spread wide and demanding their ears and attention!!!!!! 😫😫😫😫🙏🙏🙏🙏 and as he was heading back on stage, there was a lone bat fan along that aisle so he paused and leeeeeeeeaned back into that backtrack and flashed the bat hand sign at her and i couldn’t stop my unholy noises even if i tried he’s so cute omfg help he’s adorable like actually 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

like. izzy feels like the shitty ex who's convinced you that no one else gets you and no one ever will, so as uncomfortable as you feel with him, as much as it feels like you're missing something, you don't know exactly WHAT you're missing. plus, you've never had a relationship that's lasted as long as this one, and everyone says relationships are hard work. so maybe this IS what you deserve. at the end of the day, yeah he's an angry little fucker but he's loyal. you know he'll always have your back bc he's dedicated like no one else. and what's a relationship if not respect and loyalty?

except izzy has a very concrete but wrong idea of who ed is. he wants ed to fit a certain mould, which has severely stunted ed's growth and made him miserable.

so like. Hi rbs, have been following your blog for a long time. I soent most of my 2020-2022 following ggdd’s every move, especially during those awful months where gg was coming back into the light slowly. Now bothof them are flourishing in their paths, i mostly dip in and out. Dont like a lot of propaganda or rah-rah- china type stuff so havent been able to enjoy their most recent works much.

Was just wondering if you ever feel a bit lonely in this fandom. In the sense that while there are still a lot of turtles around, the possibility of ever seeing them together in any genuine capacity is nil so while we can enjoy their solo works, its a little sad for those like me who really love them most as a couple. Wish they could share some of their happiness as a coue with us but that seems like an impossible dream.

You know that old saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder?" All it really means is, our perspective on a thing creates our experience of it. If we're unhappy with something that's outside of our control, the only choice we have is to change our attitude about it.

Our experience of GG and DD has absolutely nothing to do with them or what they're doing. Our experience of them is entirely about ourselves and what's inside of us, and how we choose to view and frame them and their works and projects, and what we want out of our experience of fandom.

I never, ever feel sad about not seeing them together. In fact, I rarely ever even think about it. It's certainly not something I ever long for. Sure, I sometimes miss their bickering or wish I could see a joint interview with them again or hear a duet from them, but it's not some deep lost longing of mine or anything like that. Not something to make me sad or lonely.

I love them for them. I love GG and I love DD. They're both out there working every day, showing more of themselves, giving us more of themselves every single day. What on earth do I have to feel sad about or miss or lament?

I'm sorry, I just can't relate to this need some turtles have for 'them as a couple'. Their relationship is part of their private life. It's not for our entertainment or consumption. That might sound weird coming from me, but it's the truth. This idea of 'them as a couple' is a fantasy. It's not real. BJYXSZD, but these are two people, not a drama or fiction.

If you are a fan of 'their relationship' rather than of them as individuals, then that's something I can't help you with. I don't really think there's much I can say to you except that you might need to move on to a different fandom that can give you what you crave. GG and DD are unlikely ever to come out or to be seen together as a couple. They're unlikely to ever even be seen interacting again. At least, not anytime soon.

Move on if that makes you sad, or else change your attitude and find the joy in them, their projects and everything they share with us. But don't waste your life on longing for something you'll never have.

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, I also enjoy blacksmithing, welding, and boxing a lot!! Im also a huuuuge history buff and I really like psychology as well!!

I really like spicy foods and fruit flavored things and hearing people ramble about things they're passionate about, and I like puzzles n stuff that makes me think :]] dislikes consist of chocolate, angry yelling, crowded spaces, and boring people !!

I'm a very 0-100 person where I'm either very low energy and distant, or high energy. Im pretty impulsive as well, at least when it comes to my own safety whether it be for a dumb reason or important. I very rarely talk about my interests to people who I'm not 100% comfortable with, but when I am it's VERY easy to urge me into infodumping about fuck all I can talk about my interests for actual hours and I get really emotional if I'm told to be quiet fjdjfusjf- id like to think I'm pretty ambitious and witty as well, I'm quick to snap back at people. Quickly, she took the girl by the hair and started dragging her down the hall, her body twisting and undulating as she tried to escape. Stefan waited a beat and then followed them to Elena's room.  When he got there, Elena was already feeding from the girl's throat, grunting ravenously, which admittedly evoked his own cravings for blood.

He’d known she didn't know how to prolong the hunt and had made up his mind to mock her predictability but found himself mesmerized by what he was seeing instead.

A vicious thrill coursed through him as he watched Elena feed in earnest, experiencing a sensation that was entirely new to him. He wanted to taste that girl's blood. His hunger, never ignored or forestalled for too long, roared within him, setting everything in him alight with an urgent craving, and yet his appetite was reigned in by his desire to see Elena revel in the bloodlust. Never before had he preferred watching over partaking but her voraciousness excited him. He yearned to see Elena feed to satiation. His body ached for it, tensed for it, an intense satisfaction building within him to be released when Elena got her fill.

separately, jensen really enjoys reading and writing occasionally. if he has the energy during his free time he does a lot of mini adventures around boston or the surrounding area, either hiking or generally exploring the city. also he goes to the gym often and has quite a few friends that he boxes with.

bryce does a large mix of things with different people, and hes up for pretty much anything whenever, but alone he enjoys going to the gym, learning how to cook more things than just pasta, and playing video games occasionally. i imagine bryce keeps himself pretty occupied so he doesnt have many chances to do all those things though

together, the two of them really like going to concerts. because jensen was in a band and plays music himself, going to concerts and being around any live music is a big deal for him and he wants to keep that in his rotation of activities, and bryce is more than happy to come along. i think they also get up to a lot of adventures and fun things for dates, like the go-karting and after classics on the common

both of them are very independent people, and before they live together they dont always have the most opportunities to see each other outside of work anyway, so at that time it doesn't affect them much or at all. there are times where surgeries come up and they have to cancel a date or two, but both of them are also incredibly dedicated to their jobs, and ambitious to match, so if bryce takes an extra surgery jensens pretty understanding about it.

jensen would never be upset about being with a surgeon because he knew what he was signing up for. sure, on occasion it might be frustrating to cancel plans and not be able to see each other all the time, but they make plenty of time for one another and they both know how important their careers are to each other

What do you HC for their professional careers after book 3 timeline?

i haven't thought about this much ngl, but jensen continues to run the diagnostics team for quite a few years before moving on to other things. i imagine he and bryce move either out to the west coast and/or to chicago. he would never go into hospital administration, but i could see him starting another diagnostics team on the west coast to make it more accessible to more patients. jensen would do big things with his career, i just havent fully worked out what it all is

bryce would be the same way, and he would definitely be assisting on rare and complicated surgeries. when they move, he would get a good position with good pay and plenty of opportunities. i think it would be a big adjustment for him, but he would find his place quickly and continue to flourish in his career

Redrom. They are both stealing classes, but they are inversions of aspect. Honestly? It could go very very good, like, unusually good? Or, it could go downhill very very fast. Or both, if you want the drama.

Doom players and Life players are the 2 sides to a different coin, and they can get along very well if given the right space to allow them to flourish friendship wise or otherwise. HOWEVER, the fact ones a Rogue and a Thief might could make that tricky to decipher how it could go. Rogues are generous people, they give up a lot for others around them even if its not something as Direct as Objects to others like Roxy; Life is an aspect about Luxuries, having privileges above others in some fashion, Healing, Life, Afterlife/Revival and Growth as a person and literal growth of plants,  being confined to structure that keeps them back in a way thats favourable but not a way they can often enjoy. You see that CONSTANTLY in homestuck. To Condy, to Jane, To Nanna, Feferi, Meenah, and all those who are influenced by them being around them. Its why I think Life players tend to like Blood players, but Blood players dont tend to like Life players often, as while inheritance and a tie to someone else's legacy is a noticeable thing for Life and Blood players, Life tends to lead towards Conquests of Glory and gaining the success that comes with it and never being satisfied enough. Blood players have, more times than not, a theme of suffering as a result of their ties rather than being handed something from the beginning generally. As do Doom players, even moreso.

Doom players have unsatisfied because regardless if they are a Mage or Seer, they always have a sense for what will negatively effect them the most and - depressingly enough - they often arent given the tools to actually fix the Doom they know is coming, so they dont fight against it. They accept it and become nihilistic.

Thieves. They want stuff all to themselves, they think they dont have enough of their aspect and even if they try to "help" others, it will always lead to them profiting more than the people around them, and backfire on them immensely. Since its not in their nature or what they are meant to be doing in order to get what they want. Doom is about structure, rules, decay and the mortality of us all, and death itself. Nihilism and Having little ability to control their lives is the main theme for them. Ur stereotypical emos, MCR and such is always what I think about when looking at this classpect. But the characterization could be a villainous character who believes themselves top be terror incarnate, doom and gloom, but they always fail miserably cause they cant actually cause doom to others, they can only doom themselves through stealing it from people and they wind up messed up by their own tricks to others.

Im going off on a tangent lol. But I feel like its an odd pair but at the same time I cant really say itd be an awful ship. As when you consider these factors,Theres the idea of a Peppy rich Girl stereotype dating the Depressed MCR guy. At least in attitudes for both. Which kinda why i say, it can go very well - A very funny cute friendship or relationship. Or it can be something of a Making Fiends Situation.

The main two girls, Vendetta and Charlotte, seem like where i think this type of friendship can go to too if you desire hilarity to ensue instead of something more serious or intense.

i just realized that i need to get my shit and start making plans all over again. I used to plan my whole week financially so i never face such situations. Now and after moving out to a new place it feels like its really hard to do so. i have been in so much debt that i had to spend the bare minimum. it was hard to do a plan cause i just wanted to spend the less amount possible per day. now i dont have any obligations expect for one that is not that big i need to get my shit together. i already graduated college and i have no other plan but to whine. i need to start financially planning my life. i dont know what i want to do but i do know what i dont want to do. i dont want to travel abroad to work, i dont want to through away all the progress i made in my current job just for another one that will make me start over without any reputation and it will be fuckin hard. i dont want to be a money making machine. i just want to learn something new. when they used to ask me about what i want to do after i graduate i just say ill learn dancing or playing violin so id be skilled like everyone else. i never admit that i love admin work. it doesnt matter if im skilled i dont think that my personality matches the skilled ones and i believe that is why i dont have any skilled people in my life. i never vibe with artists (moviemakers, painters, etc..) i like people who have a daily job with a fixed salary and routine. i dont mind people who were caught into the life cycle. i know how it feels to be in a very stable life bec of the comfort zone. im already there and i know how it makes u feel home that u wont even think about changing anything in your life. i know how it feels to see everyone have a dream and you dont. u just want to keep it lowkey and keep everything as it is now. 

just to say its very hard for me to watch my friends (comfort zone) have their own dreams while i dont. most of them wants to get money asap and the other wants to experience life. i just want nothing but good life without any problems in work that endanger my stable outcome. i hope they will get that one day and stop asking me about what i want to do. it is important to me that they understand that i have absolutely nothing towards life. i only have 2 feelings one of them is fear of money problems and the other one is nothing. 

after checking the current prices i figured out that its not an option to just keep my job and wait for a promotion like any governmental employee. its just not an option anymore. so i started checking linkedin to see if i can know more about part time jobs. that will help me solve 2 problems one of them is getting rid of the comfort zone to flourish and the other one is to solve the money issue + experience different careers to know what exactly i want to do in life. 

i just want to be able to afford my own lifestyle which is not expensive by all means. hopefully ill be able to do so next month and i hope life will understand.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, i wanna side with the guys here, volleyball is their dream and all. But also, gotta look at it rationally, see the bigger picture, like, do they really plan to play volleyball as their career, or do they see themselves doing something different in the future, could their present skills flourish better if they pursue a different path? Things like that. On paper pursuing your passions sounds nice, but its actually not that good advice. You can't just rely on what you're passionate about to dictate you future career

Having a child had never crossed Kaoru’s mind before, but when Joe had teased him about how “you treat Carla better than you would a child!”, the idea kind of stuck with him. And so, he’d spent countless nights awake, wondering to himself if it was something he truly wanted?

He’d pass parks, seeing parents with spewing babies and toddlers throwing tantrums, wondering if he could actually put up with that? But as he passed the shops, he came across a mother and her daughter, who looked around 12. He watched them pass, a grin on the child’s face as she looked into her shopping bag, examining her haul for that day. And so it was settled

He wanted a baby girl he could spoil absolutely rotten

And the search for a child carried on, and this time instead of baby shops and websites, he was browsing the shelves of Claires and other tween clothing stores. It had only occurred to him over a bottle of wine with Joe, as they were discussing if Kaoru was truly ready for something like this. Instead of a crying baby or a messy toddler, he could simply adopt someone a bit older!

It made sense too. For a single parent, an older child seemed much more doable. Of course, he wouldn’t be alone. Joe was always telling him how he’d help out, yknow, if he actually went through with the damn thing.

Not to mention, the older you get, the more difficult it is to get adopted. Babies and young children will get adopted left right and centre, whereas the child he will take home will have been there for a while. Finally, they will have a place to call a home

He spent months trying to get the approval for adoption, and one fateful day he finally got the letter that yes he could go ahead and take one home. He was ecstatic, spending the next few days finding out the location of every orphanage around his area of Japan. He messaged every single one, asking when their next visiting day was

And so it was set: Kaoru would not rest until he had found his perfect little girl

He went through orphanage after orphanage, searching for someone he could call his own. However, none of the children were lighting that paternal flame inside him. It wasn’t their fault of course, they just didn’t click with him, staring at him any time he tried to talk to them. Visit after visit, he’d go to Joe’s, ready to tell him about his recent fail.

It wasn’t until Joe came up to him with a phone number, asking if he’d been to this particular orphanage yet. Apparently they had a few children aged 12 and up, and were available for visit that Saturday. And so there he was, packing a bag and getting ready to travel to the house. This time felt different, somehow. He could feel his palms sweat, as if he could sense he would take one of them home

When he finally made it to the house, he was a nervous wreck. The lady of the house let him in with a smile, telling him the children were in the backyard playing while she bounced a baby on her hip. Cherry winced as the baby gurgled at him, glad he opted for an older child

She led him outside, gesturing at the children who were sprinting around in the vast field, hiding behind trees and bushes. It was clear they were playing a game of hide and seek. He smiled as he scanned over them, but it quickly disappeared when he noticed one little girl sitting on the step, head in her lap while her shoulders gently shook with tears

He walked over to her, bending down with a soft smile. He didn’t know where this sudden calmness came from, but that was his last priority right now. A little gash sat on the girls knee, caked with blood as it trickled down her shin. He frowned, pulling out a tissue to gently wipe it. She jumped, wincing with shock from the fresh wave of pain, and surprise. Kaoru gently wiped at her knee once more before looking up at her to attempt a conversation

“Hello, is your knee alright?” She shook her head frantically, wiping a tear away from her face. A small breathy laugh escaped him as he watched the child stand, gesturing to her leg

“Nope, not at all. I think its broken, if you ask me. All cause of that stupid thing!” She threw her arm out, gesturing to a pink board Kaoru hadn’t noticed before. A skateboard.

That’s when Kaoru realised it: I want this one

Suddenly he felt a new sense of importance, like he had to make a good impression. He walked over to the board, tutting as he looked down at it. “This is what hurt you?” He looked at it with disdain as the little girl nodded her head violently. Kaoru could see how she hurt herself, the thing was massive, especially for someone her age. It looked around the size of a board he would use.

Grinning, he picked up the board. “Well, want to see something cool?” She watched in wonder as kaoru stood on it, pushing off and turning quickly, popping an ollie over a stray toy. The little girl jumped, throwing her arms up as she cheered Kaoru on. He finished with a flourish, coming back to stand beside her. “What did you think?” She was speechless, simply moving her hands, saying scattered “wows” and making various sound effects. Kaoru smiled, certain that he could teach her more.

When he realized visiting time was coming to a close, he proposed the idea to the girl, who’s name he had come to know was Lily: he’d come back next week, and he’d bring his board. He even promised to find her a smaller boar perfect for her to learn on, saying he knew a friend who could make her one. From there he would teach her the basics of skateboarding, even a couple of tricks once she got that down. She was delighted, bouncing up and down and declaring she couldn’t wait, all the energy of someone much younger than her. Kaoru found he couldn’t stop smiling himself either

He made his way back through the house, Lily skipping alongside him. He explained the plan to the Lady, that he would come back next week for another visit. Just as he was about to leave, he turned to the lady to request one final thing from her

“Make sure no one snatches her up from me while I’m gone, yeah?”

Needless to say a bottle of wine was opened at Joe’s that night in celebration of Lily, the potential daughter

And so the weeks turned into months, and Kaoru returned each week with his board and some sweets for her and the other children, teaching her everything she needed to know about skateboarding. After a month or so she could confidently ollie without bailing, and next time he visited she displayed it with delight, watching Kaoru’s face light up with pride.

She had taken a real liking to Kaoru, according to the Lady. She refused to pay any other visitors any notice, declaring they “simply weren’t Kaoru.” This is what finally made him realise that maybe it was time to ask if she’d like to live with him from now on, where she could practice with him every day.

When he asked her, Kaoru could’ve sworn he actually saw stars in her eyes. She simply lit up, throwing herself at Kaoru, tears streaming down her face as she shouted yes, of course she would. she wasn’t the only one crying, Kaoru could barely see from the tears in his own eyes, the lady dabbing at hers with a tissue

Once the paperwork was complete and Lily was his, he felt a weight had been taken off his shoulders. He had packed her a new change of clothes the day he went to collect her, bringing Joe along with him for emotional support. Lily came flying at him the second he got out of his car, wrinkling her nose at Joe

“You never told me you had a boyfriend, Kaoru” she stuck her tongue out at him from over his shoulder while they both tried to convince her that no, they weren’t a couple, before she ran upstairs to get changed. Joe turned to Kaoru, an almost offended look on his face

“Why were you so adamant that we weren’t together??” “I dont need her worrying she’s going home to a Gorrila” “HEY”

Once they all got home, they threw a little party at Joe’s who had closed a little early specially for it. Kaoru didn’t let her out of his sight, making sure she wasn’t uncomfortable with all the new people. Of course, it was only Joe, Shadow, Reki, Langa and Miya, all of whom she would meet eventually, but he still worried in case she got overwhelmed.

She made quick friends with Reki, who was ecstatic from the moment he realised she could skate. The two bonded over it, talking about tricks they’d learned, Reki shouting over at Kaoru because why hadn’t he taught him anything??

Miya was a bit standoffish at first, but when she saw the switch in his hand, the two were instantly bonding over who had better villagers in Animal Crossing, and who had passed more levels in Mario with three stars

As the months went on, Lily really settled into her new life in Okinawa, starting at school in Miyas class. The two were joined at the hip, Miya often coming home to Kaoru’s so they could practice together, or simply study and watch some movies. Reki constantly teased the shit out of the two, talking about how he heard “wedding bells”. This comment earned him a swift whack into the skull from Kaoru, warning him not to tease his little girl

Soon enough Kaoru was making her own skateboard with built-in Carla, who helped her skating improve insanely. As Kaoru said, she was definitely a chip off the old block. Langa and Reki would take her to the skate park with them, helping her land new tricks and would take videos of her to send to Kaoru

Shadow was like a chill uncle to her, bringing her flowers for her room and taking her out to get some clothes and ice cream. Joe was like an uncle too, but a much more untrustworthy one. Poor Kaoru can never get a minutes peace. Every second of the day she’s plotting something, waiting for him to let his guard down so she can pounce, scaring the shit out of him. When the others are around its 10x worse, all of them ganging up on him to pull pranks

As well as skateboarding, Kaoru tried to teach her how to do calligraphy. She ended up being awful, blotting the ink and smearing it with her hand. But hey, it was a fun art project that made it onto the fridge

At S, she was watched like a hawk. When Kaoru was competing,the others would be like her bodyguard, making sure no one got within 5 feet of her. She’d watch her dad with wonder, the look of awe never leaving her face since the first day she saw him skate. She can’t wait for the day she can compete, maybe even beating her own dad

The first time Lily called Kaoru “dad” was when he won a race, showing off some amazing skills and winning the insanely close match by a hair. He picked up his board, looking around for Lily. He saw her in the crowd, throwing her arms up and cheering “THATS MY DAD!! LOOK, RIGHT THERE, THATS MY DAD!” When she spotted him, a large grin spread across her face. “Nice job out there dad! You did amazing!! D’you think I can do that one day?”

Everyone was staring at her, she hadn’t even realised she had said anything out of the ordinary. Soon enough Kaoru was lunging at her, picking her up in a hug so she didn’t see the tears quickly forming on his face. With a smile he pulled away, his voice dripping with pride

“Of course you could. You’re my daughter, aren’t you?”

Lucifer, Leviathan, and Satan with a Plant-Loving S/O (SFW)

I accidentally deleted the ask, but here’s what was requested: @hey-its-spades : Hello! For Levi, Lucifer, and Satan if you dont mind uwu . Mc has a knack for plants and has taken it upon themselves to put plants everywhere. ( hanging from ceilings,crawling ivy on outside walls,in the kitchen, library, even luci's study.) All the rooms look a liytle greener and None of them say anything but the student body is saying that it makes the old place look alive and home-y. It makes mc really happy.       

Oh I adore this ask! SFW, with a GN! reader. I’m assuming by student body you mean the HoL residents? Since almost nobody outside the household residents visit there. I got really carried away with Levi and the Lucifer angst as well-

Lucifer, Leviathan, and Satan with a Plant-Loving Reader (SFW)

Prologue/basics for all of them:

Ever since you came to the HoL, you decided that it was too....lifeless.

Sure, there were bright candles lighting the halls, but the house was devoid of any life, besides the brothers and Henry.

So you took it upon yourself to decorate, of course!

While many human world plants didn’t fare well in the Devildom due to the poor soil quality, Lord Diavolo had agreed to bring you enchanted soil, guaranteed to grow any plant.

Regardless of temperature or sunlight needs, whatever plant grew in that soil would flourish to its upmost potential.

Asmo had a great deal of amusement with you decorating, advising you on what colors would fit specific areas of the household, and what species of flowers would bring beautiful symbolism as well.

In the house’s entryway, you left a pair of Strelitzia nicolai (giant bird of paradise) plants, as they added a subtle flair.

With long, stemmed leaves, it contributed a touch of elegance and flair.

On the a few windowsills, you had placed Begonia rex-coltorum (Rex begonias), their dark, vivid, colors standing out.

You had planted crawling ivy on the outside walls, making the house seem more inviting.

Lucifer:

Lucifer hadn’t minded your redecoration, as it had matched well with the house’s aesthetic, adding to the beauty.

In fact, he had quite enjoyed seeing you pore over catalogues and books, deciding which one would fit the space best.

Over the next few weeks, he watched as the House of Lamentation became brighter, more colorful.

It was a nice change, he thought.

However, he was surprised when he had woken up in his study, rose bushes in the corners of his study.

Deep, red roses greeted him as he surveyed his study with a pleased smile.

It was no secret Lucifer adored roses, and he was appalled when he had first arrived in the Devildom, as the soil quality was so poor, it could hardly grow anything.

Which meant he couldn’t grow roses, one of his favorite flowers.

The fact that you had thought about him, and wanted to gift him such a beautiful display, greatly moved the stoic demon.

Making his way to one of the bushes, he took off his gloves and knelt down on one knee.

The soft, sweet fragrance immersed his senses, filling him with memories of laughter, smiles, serenity, and Lilith.

Roses were her favorite flower.

As the memories flooded his mind, Lucifer suddenly felt an overwhelming sense of longing, and his vision became blurred.

He remembered the way Lilith used to brighten up when helping him with his garden, an eager grin ever-present on her face.

The way she would make him a colorful bouquet of roses whenever Michael had given him more stressful tasks than usual.

He quickly wiped a stray tear that had fallen from one of his eyes, and calmed himself.

Taking one of the velvety flowers in his hand, Lucifer gently brought his lips to the flower head, leaving a soft kiss, almost as if it was Lilith’s forehead.

The next time you went over to his study for some tea, he brought you into his arms, bringing you close to him.

Kissing your cheek, he lets a small smile break through his usually-serious facade.

“Thank you for the roses, my love. They compliment my study’s aesthetic nicely.”

Placing a small kiss on your neck, he smirked.

“Perhaps I can thank you with a date tonight?”

Leviathan:

Levi actively enjoyed watching you redecorate the HoL.

It was like one of his favorite games, The Grims! (Yes that was a terrible pun for The Sims.)

He had listened with interest as you went off on the best plants that would fit his aesthetic, and would match well with water.

What caught his attention, was when you brought up the topic of bio luminescent plants.

Of course, they weren’t naturally grown in the human world, but scientists had recently found a way to genetically modify tobacco plants.

In doing so, they had spliced the genes with four fungus genes related to bio luminescence, then carefully cultivated them.

From a seedling to maturity, the plants presented a small glow, visible to the naked eye.

The gene modification had no harmful effects on the plants, and the only difference between the lab-modified plants and wild plants, were height.

The entire time you had explained the plant’s origins passionately, Levi sat in awe, watching as you had gestured your hands in an excited fashion.

So this is what you meant when you had said you enjoyed him being so passionate about an anime or game.

At first, Levi had thought you were merely exaggerating to cheer him up, but as he looks at you now, eyes shining with delight, he understood.

You decided that since you were decorating the HoL, you would decorate Levi’s room as well.

You didn’t have access to the bio-luminescent plants, but you decorated his rooms to the nines nonetheless.

So, you had pooled together your money and resources, to create a mini lily pond for him!

You had miraculously gotten him out of the house, for a cosplay con, in which you had ‘accidentally’ forgotten to buy yourself a ticket.

Which we all know is a lie, you had just not bought one for yourself in order to stay at home, assembling the pond with Solomon’s help.

It was small, enough to fit around 6-7 lily pads/lotuses.

You had carefully grown the lily pads in your room, watching as they eventually bloomed into light, almost ethereal flowers.

By the time Levi came home, you had just finished cleaning up, getting the mud washed from your hands and arms.

Upon seeing the lily pond, Levi’s eyes were wide with amazement and shock.

You created and did this, for him?

Absolutely sets down his handfuls of merch, (gently, mind you) and silently steps over to you.

He does his best to hug you like in anime, wanting you to know how much he appreciates this.

Yes, it may be awkward, but it warms your heart knowing that he stepped out of his comfort zone, just to thank you.

He’s too embarrassed to say it while looking at you, but you can hear his voice as he rests his head against yours.

As he pulls away, a blush is evident on his face, his head turned to the side as he awkwardly places his hand against the back of his neck.

“T-thank you, Y/n. It’s a b-beautiful lily pond.”

Satan:

He fully supported your botanical excursion

After all, he’s always had an affinity for plants.

Whether it be for potions, poisons, or mere decor, Satan had a green thumb, through and through.

If his room weren’t full of books, scriptures, and all sorts of literature, he’d fill it with various plants.

So when you had announced that you were going to re-decorate the HoL with various flora, he was buzzing with excitement.

He gathered every human botanical book he knew of, and started leaving them for you on your desk.

Within a week, you had stacks upon stacks of books, knowledge ready at your disposal.

And so you began to research.

Satan was considerate to leave footnotes in a few of them, like what type would pair well with what color schemes, etc.

You smiled while reading through them, seeing Satan’s elegant handwritten flow across the pages.

Within a few weeks, you had skimmed through the books, thoroughly reading a handful of them.

After ordering the plants you wanted on Azukon, (courtesy of Lord Diavolo’s credit card-) you were eagerly anticipating their arrival.

Especially because a few ‘special items’ were in the package.

After all, you wanted to thank Satan properly for his help.

When the various flora arrived, you had carefully cultivated each of them, encouraging their growth.

Satan had assisted you, monitoring their progress, and making sure none of his brothers ruined them.

The following weekend, Satan had a student council meeting planned, as did the rest of the brothers.

Which left you with the perfect opportunity to set up Satan’s gifts.

In his room, you had placed Senecio rowleyanus (string of pearls) plants, their bright green globes spilling over the bookshelves.

Along with that, were lavender candles, with dried lavender crushed inside.

After all, Satan had always (usually) been the most level-headed out of his brothers, despite his title.

He’s much more than the avatar of wrath, and has gone through painstaking time and trials to overcome that.

That’s why you had picked lavender, which without a doubt, would be noticed by Satan.

When he had come back from the meeting, he was already in a pissy mood, as things didn’t go as planned, ending in an argument between the brothers.

However, when he stepped into his room, seeing lavender candles lit, and garlands of plants over the bookshelves, he immediately broke out in a smile.

A real, genuine smile.

Seeing you sitting on his bed, lavender candles lit, plant garlands stringing down from the bookshelves, it was almost like one of the romance novels he had read...

Quickly, he scooped you up in his arms, spinning you until you were laughing for him to stop.

Finally setting you down to gently kabeddon you, he playfully kisses the corner of your lips.

“Thank you my love, these are absolutely beautiful. I shall preserve these for all eternity.”
