°- Kazutora hanemiya

• the second his feelings for you grew he'd try and shut them away, almost refusing himself to like someone like that

• as the days, weeks and even months went past and you both talking more his feelings grew too big for his poor heart and would try to escape him

• he'd unintentionally do or say things that might hint his feelings and doesn't even realise it until he's alone and is looking back at the interaction, he would immediately mentally kick himself thinking he did something bad whilst repeatedly calling himself 'stupid'

• at some point he took hold of your hand and inspected your nails without asking you and without thinking, "your hands are soft" he'd softly mentioned

• another time that might have showed his feelings was when he went in to hug you when you both decided to hang out, a hug is normal sure but it was the way he did it, pressed together and his cheek laid down on your head, it wasn't his full intention

• he doesn't want to lose you at all and grows jealous very easily of others who your talking to, if anything even a little protective

• from afar in school if he notices you talking to other guys even if you've clarified their not who you'd go for romantically he'd still keep an eye on you, watching from afar with sharp eyes almost waiting for a moment to leap in

• oh if looks can kill he'd probably have killed every guy you have possibly interacted with without you knowing

• after school he'd walk up to you if you're alone and would ask you about what you were talking about with another guy, what and why?

• 'why him, why not me?' though he never asked you that and never will

• his jealousy would be noticeable sometimes as the time went on and he even knows it but can't hide it and it frustrates him for not being able to

• he'd rant about his feelings and you to Baji and would jump from being angry at himself to being in awe when he mentions you

• his breaking point was when you told kazutora that someone had confessed to you but you turned it down, he'd worry that someday he might be in that same situation as the previous guy, and for that he wouldn't talk to you for a week

• kazutora would believe that you dont deserve someone like him, that you're better off with someone else

• well he tried to ignore you, he didn't talk to you but you came and talked to him and he wasn't gonna be mean and shut you down, how could he? you're almost his everything, shutting you away would mean he's intentionally putting himself in misery

• he'd still beat himself up and self sabotage but one day in lesson while thinking about you and taking secret glances at you, his leg would bounce up and down with nervousness

• he'd see your smile, hear your laugh and voice and with that his mind was made up, he needed to make you his

• on the same day while walking you home he took a deep breath and silently let it go to calm his nerves down

• his confession was a bit impulsive

• "I like you... a lot" he'd blurt it out after a minute of silence between you to, in his mind he decided to go ahead and 'fuck it'

• he tried to look you in the eyes but he couldn't and would look away after a second or two

• his expression was calm but deep down boy was panicking and a total mess, his heart beat increasing and the urge to just hug you right there and then was too much for him, he didn't even know your answer yet

• "let me call you mine, and I, yours"

°- Chifuyu matsuno

• at first he didn't want his feelings to grow any more than they already have due to him having self doubt in himself

• the more time you guys hung out and talked the more he noticed how his feelings grew

• he loves to listen to you rant about certain topics even if he doesn't know what you're talking about, he'd nod along and keep listening just to hear your voice and keep your attention on him and no one else

• he'd share his food with you

• for a few times when he'd read his manga, in his mind briefly he'd think of the two main love interests as him and you, making himself feel giddy and that was when his thoughts to confess developed

• he'd be subtle about it yet pretty obvious at the same time without even noticing it himself

• whenever he'd see you talking to another guy he'd stand off in the distance and keep an eye on the two of you just observing, he'd grow jealous but not to the extent as kazutora- though he did wish he could walk on over there and stand behind you while looking at the guy like your guard dog

• he'd be both nervous and excited in confessing to you (he wussed out 5 times)

• one of the times was when you both decided to hang out and there was comfortable silence while he walked you back home, his mind was racing as this could be a good opportunity but while preparing his words in his mind over and over you both neared your home and he decided to give it up for the day

• another opportunity he turned down was another hang out, but he specifically wanted to hang out so he could confess to you, but every little thing you'd do and say would make his heart skip a beat and fuzz up his brain, he was love struck

• and then every other opportunity was the same and ended the same too, with a love letter.

• he'd carry around a love letter in his bag or pocket in hopes of finding his courage to give it to you, either by placing it in your school locker or on your desk or slipping it underneath your house door and then message you to check your door. however he didn't do neither of them.

• he would make up scenarios in his head on how he would and in all of those scenarios he'd make himself full of courage and you always saying yes to his confession, and that would boost his ego but the second he's back in reality his ego and confidence gets flattened

• he'd try and get advice from his friends but not straight up admit that he has a crush (apart from Baji, he knows) he'd ask his friends 'how would you guys confess to someone?'

• though they would immediately catch on about his 'little' crush after that question, though the answers chifuyu hoped for wasn't what he was looking for since they all started to tease and question him instead

• a crisp and clean white envelope with a neatly written love letter inside

• he was encouraging himself behind a corner in school with the love letter in his hand. he had to rewrite it because it started to get crumpled up for the long period of time it had been in his bag and then transferred in his pockets too much

• he finally decided that he lingered over the thought for too long and today was the day he'll finally confess

• while making his way to your locker to slip the letter through the lined gaps he had accidentally bumped into someone due to him not paying attention to his surroundings but instead focusing on his plan so that he doesn't back out

• seeing you this close in the situation that he's putting himself into wasn't helping at all since he was already a bit of a nervous mess to begin with but the tried so hard to contain his emotions

• he had dropped the letter and his heartbeat increased upon seeing that he had bumped into you (quite cliché I know)

• as he apologized for walking into you, you had picked up the envelope and tried to give it back to chifuyu, though he didn't take it back, he just started at it while being deep in thought

• "I... uhh..." he'd stumble on his word a little bit but soon enough he mentally slapped himself and told him to man the fuck up.

• "keep it, the letter is yours. I wrote it for you and meant to give it to you for a long while, you don't have to read it now and I'd probably prefer you not to"

• he'd nervously laugh a little at the end due to the thought of you reading it in front of him put him a little on edge, though a part of him also kind of wanted you to, just to see your reaction

• either way though, he'll be waiting for your response soon

°- Baji Keisuke

• he's gained a good few confessions in the past but would always turn them down, so when he started talking to you and you seemed to not gain any feelings for him that would make his interest perk up

• his ego was quite big but wouldn't use that to his advantage nor brag about it, he'd just always be expecting something but then get shocked and confused if what usually happens doesn't happen

• and it's not like you guys would talk a lot though, majority of the times it's him who starts a conversation despite sitting next to each other in class

• he'd be aware of his own feelings for you but would just brush it off like a 'whatever' thing and think it'd pass by (that never happened)

• whenever he could when you're up and about the classroom talking to your friends he'd sit back and look at you without noticing he's staring

• he'd only look away if he sees you take a step or shuffle a little causing his heartbeat to increase hoping you didn't catch him

• he's a bit of a tsundere

• he wouldn't want to admit to himself that he likes you but soon enough at night while thinking about you he fully realises the extent to his feelings, "ah shit" he'd whisper to himself

• he'd panic, it was that sort of thing where before you couldn't care less about something but upon noticing the extent of it your whole mindset had changed causing you to shift emotions about it

• he'd be in denial but at the same time also accept it, it wasn't a bad thing for him, he just hated being all sappy and hates that turning feeling in his stomach when thinking about you

• if he can't remember math equations it's cause he's been trying to memorize your schedule, what time you come in school, where you go at breaks, who you talk to, the basics

• but he wouldn't ask you those questions, he's observant half the time and would eavesdrop at any given chance he could get and gain information about you that way

• though that doesn't mean he won't talk to you, as mentioned before he will come to you and talk.

• he'd ask for help with his work and secretly he'd be smug about it cause he got your attention

• he'd warm up to you slowly and tease you a lot at any chance he can get and he enjoys your reactions and loves it even more when you talk back in the same attitude as him showing that you can return the same energy

• he'd randomly message you with a singular letter in the dead of night knowing that your asleep, just so he gets a message from you in the morning even if it's a question mark or the same letter

• and then from there he'd make a conversation and shamelessly ask you about the other guy that you talked with at lunch (someone's a little jealous)

• he'd be deep in thought at the thought of being in a possible relationship with you, was it what he wanted? was it something that you wanted?

• he'd think over many different scenarios that could possibly happen, from how'd it be like being in a relationship with you, what he would do, what you would do. and he'd always catch himself smiling at just the thought of you

• it was a bit of an impulsive decision, like kazutora had

• one day he asked you to meet up and you agreed and half way through the hang out he'd spill his guts out

• "I like you, I can't remember the last time I had control over my own mind since you came in"

• he hates the sappy stuff, he mentally cringed after he said that but when it came to you he'd feel all mushy on the inside and felt like he needed to be around you all the time, in a way he couldn't help it all

• he'd be a little nervous at first but after he said the first few words of his confession he grew confident and would carry on with the confidence

• his sharp eyes would soften as he waited for your response, his heartbeat increasing and open for you

Soliloquy

Simon "Ghost" Riley/Reader

Dedicated to @yeyinde and @moondirti for their incredible writings! Seriously I haven't written this often in years so...let's go! Song this was inspired by ⬇️

Simon was alone.

Alone on the roof, mask off and a cigarette in-between his lips and a beer bottle hanging precariously from his fingers. He had nothing but the multitudes of thoughts doing sprints in his brain, a rare chance when he wasn't aware of his surroundings and he could just...be.

He'd been on this mission all of two weeks when he got a call from you, going straight to Price to make sure you wouldn't be delayed. At first he thought the worst, someone had broken in, someone had targeted you, an enemy from his past had showed up and had you hostage and this was the last time he would hear from you.

He wasn't sure what to expect, but it wasn't two words he'd never thought he'd hear.

Simon took a long drag of his smoke, focusing in the cherry red end go brighter before dulling, the soothing feeling of smoke entering his lungs and tobacco on his tongue easing his mind somewhat. He had no idea what to say, hardly said anything to you before he had to hang up and go over the plan with the team before they were dismissed for the evening. Simon should call you back, but still he had no idea what to say.

"You alright Lt.?" Soap's familiar comforting accent cut through the otherwise quiet night.

"Johnny. Thought you'd be at the bonfire."

"I was, then I noticed a certain Ghost wasn't haunting the area." Soap grunted as he sat beside him, passing him another beer before cracking open his own. "Saw you take that call, was it your hen?"

Soap was the only one other than Price who had known about you, and had been at the elopement ceremony simply because you two needed a witness and he was right there. He was about to go on a deployment for months with no guarantee he would come back, and Simon wanted to make sure you would get his pension if the worst did happen. So, a quick run to the dress shops and then to the courthouse and you were officially Mrs. Simon Riley. He'd gotten you a better ring when he did return, a rock as big as Soap's head and a house away from the city to make up for all the time he's away. That was a year and a half ago now, and he still liked calling you Mrs. Riley.

That wasn't the only reason to marry you, he should clarify, he did want to spend the rest of his life with you, a sense of belonging when he came back home and a reason to stay alive. He supposes he has another reason to come home now though.

"Yeah," he knocked off the ash and took a swig.

"Yeah? Everything alright?" He took one look at the far away look in his eyes and felt his heart break for the man. "Dont tell me it was a Dear John call."

"No, no, she wouldn't-" Simon hoped you wouldn't, "it's not that. She's pregnant."

Why did that leave his lips so easily? He could barely wrap his mind around the idea of you with a lad inside your belly and it being half of him and half of you and-

"Fuckin' hell she's pregnant." He said it again, snubbing out his cancer stick and standing with his hands on his hips.

"Steamin Jesus." Soap breathed out behind him. "That just hit ya?"

"Shut the fuck up Johnny." There was no real venom in it, too focused on the more important revelation at hand. What would he think of him? The lad could call him the old man or some variation, toddling on his little legs to him with his arms out stretched for his dad to pick him up. What could he teach him? Sure, he could teach him to fight or to swim but that was it. He had no life skills, no domestic traits that he could pass on to a son.

"Fuck am I going to do? The hell am I going to do for Jack?" He muttered, pacing a few times before sitting back down next to Johnny.

"Well, you're gonnae do ok if you've already got a name picked out." Soap leaned back on his hands and nudged him with his boot. "What do you think he'll look like?"

"Probably be as big as me. Tall and as a tough as a bloody tree. Can't imagine having to squeeze out this head through you." He knocked on his head.

Soap had never seen him like this. He was...hopeful, dare he say it. Ghost had probably never thought about something like this, never had the opportunity to think this far in his life before. God knows Soap was the most confused he's ever been when Ghost told him to put on a tie and get to the courthouse and lo and behold he had a sweet lil Bonnie lass he was marrying that day. Now, hes got a bairn on the way?

"I think you're forgetting a very important part of the pie, Simon."

He turned to him with a fire in his eyes, arms crossed over his chest and venom in his voice. "What?"

"Jack could be Jackie."

His eyes went wide in a rare display of emotion. "What the fuck am I going to do with her? I can barely handle the woman I'm married to how the fuck am I gonna handle a daughter? Fucking Christ, I can just imagine her...if she looks anything like her mother I'm fucked. Might as well get a bloody shotgun to hang on top of the fireplace..." Simon ran his hands down his face, doing just that and imagining a little girl attached at her mother's hip. She'd be sweet and loving, like peaches and cream from the shop his own mother would take him when his father hadn't drank their money away.

Or perhaps it could be two? One of each or two daughters or two sons and they'd be the apple of his eye. His heart began to pound, imaging the life his children, God his, yours, a family. An honest to God family and he didn't want to miss a moment of it.

"I need to talk to Price." Simon tossed his cigarette over the roof and dumped the rest of his beer out.

"What for?"

"To go home!"

Soap watched him leave with a laugh, cheering to him behind his back. "Good luck, brother."

Price managed to get him home in another two weeks after he worked his ass off to finish the mission. He hardly had time to wipe his ass he was so focused on getting home to you. He hadn't even called you which was a massive fuckin mistake on his part, yes he knew, but he hoped the bouquet of flowers and tiny beanie he had bought on a whim would make it up to you along with a promise that he wasn't going anywhere for a very long time.

Price got another call about nine months later, inviting the team to meet his wife and daughter. June was her name, and he had been right. She was the spitting image of her mother.

and so it is possible to evaluate the attitude of other participants in the game of a physicist from one to ten? I'm terribly interested in the relationship of physics and maki.

i THINK i understand what this means but if ive gotten it wrong just . shoot me another message clarifying and i'll redo it . i believe ur asking me to rate how the other participants feel about physicist on a scale of 1-10 ? let's say 1 is enemies and 10 is their closest friends.

i'll start with physicist's weakest relationships and work my way up to their strongest !

shinguji — 1/10, not really any friendship built before the incident where shinguji tried to murder phys; likewise, phys always felt vaguely distrustful and creeped out by kiyo even before the incident. a very safe last place.

yonaga — 3/10, one of the only characters physicist has had a real, longstanding problem with. phys is generally pretty passive, but yonaga definitely managed to piss them off by brainwashing kiibo and trying to control the student population. i don't think yonaga had any grudge against phys personally, though.

shirogane — 4/10, phys seems very neutral and sometimes irritated by shirogane. throughout the story, shirogane is rarely seen standing up for physicist, generally quick to believe they are guilty when accused.

houshi — 5/10. i don't think physicist ever had any sort of problem with houshi, they simply didn't know him well enough before he died to really feel close to him. i think they would get on if they had more time to spend together.

yumeno — 5/10. again, physicist is mostly neutral on yumeno, but their opinions on her probably skew a bit more positively than shirogane. yumeno has definitely earned sympathy points from physicist and has moments where she tries to believe in physicist's innocence.

gokuhara — 6/10. we're starting to move onto people physicist likes now. gokuhara is ranked low because i wouldn't consider himself and physicist to have a very deep relationship beyond generally liking each other, though. their relationship was definitely tainted by chapter five, too. i think gokuhara only cared for phys as much as he did all the other students, and physicist liked him well enough and felt it hard when he died.

iruma — 6/10 physicist tends to think iruma is a little much, but they definitely appreciate her as a scientist. iruma is a coward, so she's for sure very jumpy and paranoid around phys after they kill korekiyo, but killing game circumstances nonwithstanding i think they'd be pretty good friends.

akamatsu — 6/10, akamatsu was definitely super important in physicist's early development, i think she gave physicist a lot of hope and she would be remembered a lot more fondly by physicist if she hadn't murdered amami and started the killing game.

harukawa — 6/10, an interesting relationship for sure !! they start out in a super rocky place with harukawa accusing physicist of amami's murder and being stubborn when confronted with reason, and physicist disliking her because of it. there's a lot of shaky points for them, but i think they've both grown to a place of mutual respect. they may not ever be close friends, especially in the killing game, but they've learned to appreciate the other at the very least.

momota — 6/10. a source of strength for physicist, although their philosophies dont always align. their relationship is weakened a little by momota refusing to see physicist's agency in their relationship with ouma.

toujo — 7/10. ranked a little lower for the whole uhhh toujo considering killing physicist and trying to throw them under the bus about it thing. but pre-ch2 they were very close. i think phys is the closest anyone got to seeing toujo as a person, and toujo genuinely cared for and respected phys a lot.

chabashira — 8/10. another relationship that needed a lot of time to evolve. chabashira and phys didn't really interact meaningfully until chabashira discovered them after killing kiyo and helped cover it up. since then they've grown incredibly close, something of a result of chabashira being the only one to see phys like that, and continuing to have faith in them. one of the only people to see the real phys, i think.

saihara — 8/10. these two have a more subtle relationship i guess, but still extremely close. saihara believes in phys a lot, not just because of his detective's intuition, and they mean a lot to him. both of them care for the other deeply, and beyond that, want to be cared for by the other. they each find comfort in talking about their grief and regrets, and have near-unwavering faith in the other.

amami — 8/10. only isn't a 9 because of his secrecy and the amount of stuff physicist doesn't know about him, but needless to say amami very much acted as physicist's rock in chapter one and that losing him in such a brutal way damaged them to their core. amami, in turn, adored physicist in a sorta big-brother way, felt pretty protective of them. i think it said a lot that he told them he'd come find them first after ending the killing game? he grew to feel pretty close and protective to them in the short time they had together. physicist constantly looks to his memory for advice on what to do when they're struggling.

ouma — 9/10. this bastard. he's so high up because he probably knows phys better than anyone else, and the same goes for phys knowing him. phys is closer to him than anyone in canon ever got, and although they've had a very very rocky journey they both harbour indisputable respect for the other. there's something so intimate abt their knowledge about each other, the way they know the exact things the other wants to keep hidden the most. he's ranked a point lower than a ten because of his obsessive paranoia and trust issues, and also his struggle to get over phys killing kiyo and using them in his plan to kill iruma and gokuhara.

kiibo — 10/10. u may question this ranking when thinking about the recent distance between them but i raise you . in regards to each other , everything phys and kiibo have done is a result of extenuating circumstances and not their own actions. phys only allowed iruma to be killed because they believed the world is virtual and iruma wouldn't actually be dying, and only distances him because they can't tell anyone at all about the plan to catch the mastermind. circumstances nonwithstanding, physicist and kiibo love each other. they are best friends, they trust the other wholeheartedly, always the first to jump to the other's defence. kiibo's faith in physicist is incredibly stubborn at times because he knows who they are deep down, and the same for physicist. anyway. they mean everything to me :3

Last week i hooked up with a guy. We were having sex in his car. I told him i wouldnt have sex with him without a condom because i dont know him like that. We had mediocre sex for a couple minutes when i realized …something didnt feel right. I looked and realized he didnt have a condom on even though id WATCHED him put it on. He claimed it was inside me but everything about the situation felt wrong. I put on my underwear and left,,,honestly i felt gross and used and…i know technically if someone else told me about this happening to them i would never certain to make sure they knew they were raped. I dont feel like thats what happened. Idk im feeling confused and used and still pretty gross. Idk what to do about it and idk what i want you to say about it but….i wanted to tell you?

It’s your story, kid; I’m not gonna force a narrative on you. If you don’t want to call it rape, we won’t call it rape.

So instead of jumping to legalistic conclusions, let’s simply talk about what happened.

He pushed to have condom-free sex with someone he didn’t really know. (That means he prioritizes his arousal over anyone’s well-being, including his own.)

He lied when he said the condom was inside you. (If it had been, you’d have retrieved it and mentioned it… your vagina isn’t a latex compost bin where lost condoms turn into mulch.)

He stealthed you, intentionally removing the condom so that he could take non-consensual risks within the context of a consensual sex act. (This means his fantasies matter more than your realities.)

He thinks you’re stupid enough to fall for any of this. (His contempt for you extends beyond his view of your body as his to violate.)

He almost certainly has something; that wasn’t his first time, and it’s entirely possible that spreading his disease —either a literal STI, or figuratively in the form of a bastard child— is the whole point. (Get yourself tested, immediately.)

He seems to have lucked out and pulled this shit with the right kind of girl; it’s safe to assume —because you’re asking me— that you have a rather nuanced and possibly conflicted view of sexual manipulation and assault, and are thus struggling to figure out if you somehow deserved or invited this treatment. That’s of course super-handy for him. He doesn’t have to feel shame, analyze his actions, or bear the consequences of either because you’re here to do all of that for him. Which would be fine if any of this had been based on a profound emotional bond, a shared understanding, or for fuck’s sake, just a fleeting glimpse of intimacy. But it wasn’t. (I need you to remember that what we are ain’t what he is… the fucked-up sex we enjoy can be brutal and scary and overwhelming, but we’re always on the same team. You were never on his team, honey. Never.)

As for what you might want me to say… I can only guess. Probably something that affirms your experience and recognizes the complexity of your reactions without making you feel like a cretinous whore or a helpless victim. I figure you also wanted to be given a new perspective on the experience that clarifies and embellishes your own feelings rather than trying to convince you that you’re having the wrong ones.

With that said, I know what you need me to say.

Take care of yourself. First and foremost. If that means making less of this event than you could, so be it. Again, you’re the author of this chapter of You: The Untold Story.

But seriously, kiddo… don’t carry this dude’s shit. He did it. All of it. He made a series of decisions that invalidated your decisions. You don’t have to call that “rape”, but that doesn’t make it okay. You can reject the trauma in an experience while still accepting its reality.

One of the first gallerian x reader fic is out. What am I doing with my life idk too there's a lot of build up after saying this was going to be short bear with me lovelies. Also this takes place in just like evillous no au. Also this is like my first ever ever fanfic so I'll just use [name] I also cringed a lot making this. I'm going to clarify some more things. A little ooc btw. I also have no rizz. Dont judge i hate this. My friend asked me to do this too err :P its also not proof read. Ill get better with time i swear

You were the representing lawyer for your friend, and honestly it's hard to find evidence that he's well. Innocent. You were surprised how he got into this mess. He murdered some powerful politician. The head judge for this case is lo and behold. Gallerian Marlon. Known to take bribes more like rumored to take bribes. You were lucky enough to well have relations with him, you're friend doesn't have enough money to probably bribe him. He lives an average life besides from this big "accusation". This was your second time having Gallerian Marlon as a head judge of a case you were working on. You've always gotten a weird feeling from him, you've seen him outside sometimes and you and him would wave at eachother. Awkward but yes. So you made your way to your telephone and put in his number. Surprisingly a few seconds later someone picked up the phone. It was Gallerian and honestly this was going to be really awkward. You have no clue how to word this without sounding like a dumbass.

"Hello? Who is this." Gallerian asked in a serious tone. Hope you didn't call his home phone or something. "I'm assuming this is Gallerian Marlon?" You spoke, honestly this is really awkward. It took a second for him to respond. "I feel like I've spoken to you before. If you don't mind me assuming and you [Name]." You were surprised on how he knew with just your voice, he sounded a little amused or happy too. "Yes, well I wanted to discuss about my client who'll be having trial in your court in a few days. I'm wondering if we could talk about that face to face?" You were a little nervous cause well this guy is kinda intimidating. Though honestly kinda good looking. "Hm. I don't mind. Where'd you like to see eachother?" Where should they even meet honestly this is getting awkward for you. "It's your pick, I just need to discuss something." The top thing on her mind was like at his office in the Dark Star Bureau, but that's still kind of far from your home. "I know there's a restaurant nearby my office. It's called Court of Knights. Would you like to talk there?" He suggested, a weird one too. Why a restaurant of all places to be honest, it's starting to sound like more of a date.. though you did says it's his choice so you can't be picky.

"Sure then, what time are you available?" You were slightly confused and a little flustered, honestly as a lawyer the only thing you've been doing is paperwork and files for cases. You don't have time for things like this, more or less you've been stuck to your desk for months. You got too caught up in your thoughts Gallerian was speaking. "Ah. Sorry can you repeat what you said?" You asked. "I mean I'm okay 6PM this evening or tomorrow. Since the trial will be in a few days. Though may I ask why you want to discuss about it with me?" Gallerian asked, and from his voice he sounded suspicious of you. "That's something to discuss later. I think 6PM today will be better. It gives me time. Thank you and bye" You said in a hurry and put the phone down as fast as you can. You wondered if he actually heard you say bye. You shouldn't have agreed to meeting today. You live maybe a 20 or 30 minute walk away from the Dark Star Bureau, it's also 4PM now...

A while later after getting ready you were wearing a black suit and some shoes (whatever shoes you want since its gn reader) This was going to be awkward. It's 5:03PM, if you're lucky you'll get there before 5:50. You went out the door and sped walked to the restaurant. You arrived there the restaurant at 5:37PM. You've never really went to things like this. Does he even have a reservation the place kind of looked packed with people. Nor do you go out often to eat in restaurants, and don't you have many friends either. You decided to just sit down on a near by bench, and wait for Gallerian.

A few minutes later, you were startled to have someone tap your shoulder. You quickly turned to see who it was, it was Gallerian obviously, he seemed to be wearing the same clothes he wears when he's at court hearings and etc. Just except for that judge coat. A bluish-black vest and a white collared shirt with black pants and shoes. Gallerian chuckled and greeted. "Did I startle you? Forgive me so. [English honorific] [Name]." You shook your head and stood up. "It's fine. How about we head inside and let's talk there." There doesn't seem to be too many people, thank God. What seemed odd for you, Gallerian, seems oddly happy? Or giddy. He wasn't smiling all the time, but there's this feeling that gives off a happy mood front him. You two had a table for two facing eachother, it was a silent from them until Gallerian spoke up. "Anyways. What's the business you plan to bring up." Gallerian then put his elbow on the table and his head leaning on his hand. Honestly, a little rude, putting your elbows on a table is a little disrespectful... you thought he was bored, but he smiled at her. Not with a boring look, more like he's staring or admiring something? Or someone.

"I know this seems bad, but I heard that you take bribes. No way will my friend will even have a chance to have a innocent verdict. This is the only thing I can think of winning this case even by a little." You tried saying in a hushed tone, but you seemed completely serious. Gallerian sat up properly and covered his mouth with one hand. From his eyes you could tell her was grinning, this honestly was a little weird. He put his hand down and there was evil grin. "I see. Well, by tomorrow or the day after, 1 million Ev will be deposited to me and after the Innocent verdict another 1 million Ev." You was surprised he agreed and she seemed really surprised and glad. "It'll be done by tomorrow. Thank you so much." You we're glad he accepted. "I think what I'm supposed to do here is done.. so." You tried to stand up until Gallerian said something. "Oh? You're leaving already? Honestly, I thought were going to have dinner too." When he said that your face can't help but turn a little red and you stayed in place. "Sure? I don't mind." You spoke, okay this looks too much like a date now.

After you both ordered, you and Gallerian talked but more or less his voice went through one ear and came out the other. You were honestly just thinking about two things, is this a date? Or is this a date. Yea, same thing. The food soon arrived, lord was it awkward. You didn't talk that much. Until the dinner was over, really awkward talk. The server came over and handed the check, which also was awkward. "Ah, I'll pay for the bill." You tried reaching out for the bill until Gallerian already placed the money on it, before you could grab it. "Hm? Isn't it a little rude if I let you pay?" Gallerian smiled, and you just nodded your head a little hesitantly. Gallerian lowkey seemed hesitant paying himself. What were you even supposed to say to that. "Oh! Thank you either way. See you in the court, sir?" You didn't know what to call him, sooo... "You can just call me, Gallerian outside of court only though." He patted your shoulder, and the two ot you left the restaurant together. "Thank you, once again. I'll be going now, Gallerian." Once again awkward, you were about to walk off until someone grabbed your wrist. "I'm aware this seems out of place... May I walk you home [English Honorific] [Name]?" He looked a little embarrased asking, his cheeks pink. You couldn't help but laugh a little at it, you nodded and you two started walking together back to your house. You two engaged in normal chatting more casual, though what was a different you two were awfully close your hands would accidentally touch eachother often.

"Well.. I've been a lawyer for quite some time, I wou-" You were talking about how long you've been a lawyer and how long Gallerian's been a judge. You were cut off by something sliding into your hand. You stopped walking and so did Gallerian, looking down Gallerian's hands were interlocked with yours. You could feel your cheeks turn red, and you were left speechless. Gallerian's cheeks were red too but he was pretending like nothing was happening. "I think we should hurry to your home, before it gets too dark. Don't you think so?" He gave a small smile, you just nodded and continued walking with him. When you both arrived at the front of your home, he finally let go of your hand as you pulled your house keys from your pocket. "See you in court, Gallerian." You said, for Gallerian instead of responding he took your hand again and brought it up to his lips. "See you in court." He then kissed your hand, Gallerian let your hand go gently and smiled. You were surprised at that, really surprised. You saw him walk away, while you were processing what happended. Gallerian doesn't seem like the gentleman type, the bribery, corruption. Though its as if you didn't bribe him. You unlocked the door and plopped onto the couch, you could just feel your face burning up until now. The whole scenario is burnt into your brain right now. The court session is in two days! How are you going to face him in court like this..

I love how Riddle's personality is so canon! The more I read I thought of "THIS IS SOMETHING THE RIDDLE WOULD SAY", at the beginning of the story our red tyrant comes screaming and ruining the whole atmosphere of friendship between the students, I myself felt the fear of being caught! Even the dorm members felt afraid of Riddle even when they knew of his innocence and that was shown very well in the writing <3

I loved the obscenity and how he included Riddle's obsession with discipline in the Queen of Hearts rules (Excuses to fuck his lover <3)

Reading the previous anonymous I fully agree that the reader became pregnant. My mind is filled with thoughts of a pregnant darling and Riddle as a father, I feel like he would be such a sweet father afraid of making the same mistakes as his parents :(

october 13 (faith lehane day !!)

hiii guys, so as some of you may or may not know, today is international faith lehane day!! this post may come a bit early to some because i live in australia btww

so what i believe was 25 years ago to this day, season 3 episode 3 (faith, hope, and trick) aired on american tv, and we were introduced to the character of faith lehane

faith was probably my first real celebrity crush, even though i was young-ish when i watched it. i loved her personality, her strength (both emotional and physical), and her obvious queerly undertoned relationship with buffy.

faith goes through so much heartbreak and betrayal and loss, which is why i believe that she was never a truly evil character. im probably saying things that everybody knows, but faith was a kid like buffy too. everyone talks about how buffy was so young when she had to deal with all of this stuff, but faith was young as well.

remember the impact that giles had on buffy. with him, buffy had both a mother and a father figure, completing her little family (at least, from seasons 1-4). but faith's watcher died and her parents were never there for her. she was always so lost and alone, terrified of vulnerability.

that's why when she befriends the mayor, she clings onto him, does anything for him. he is the father that she never had (to clarify, i do NOT approve of their relationship; he used and practically groomed her).

faith had it worse than buffy, and yet people still treat her like an awful person. but what did she do that was that bad? she was manipulated into aiding the mayor. she killed a man? guess what. so did giles. the circumstances were different, yes, but it was a genuine accident in faith's case.

she runs, pretends that nothing happened. because she feels SO guilty about it, and if she buries her guilt deep in her denial, she knows that she'll never have to feel it.

this all leads me onto my next point; fuffy was genuinely a much better ship than bangel or spuffy (no hate ofc, im a spuffy girl too).

obviously, faith was not a vampire. green flag number one :)

there were always the gayest undertones with their characters (yes i know eliza played her role as if she liked buffy)

she was the healthiest fulfilment-wise?? angel and buffy obviously couldn't do anything without him losing his soul, and sleeping with spike sent buffy into such deep self-loathing. but faith was always her friend, she always went to her if she was in trouble… yall they could make out as much as they want with no repercussions.

there are also many quotes to back up my argument, soo here are some off the top of my head :)

"really, we're just good friends" (buffy)

"let's have another go, see who lands on top" (faith)

"willow said you needed me. didn't give it too much thought" (faith)

and then there's the way they look at eachother, the forehead kiss, and (my personal favourite) the way that scott hope absolutely spread the rumour that buffy was gay because he saw how faith and buffy interacted.

i dont really know what else to write so thank you that concludes my essay <3 i might write a fuffy fanfic after this actually…

Santiago Garcia. Probably my favorite character in the oscar-verse. Wrote two series with him, Leather and Lace and then Awakening and, i adore him. So much

But young Santi? vunerable santi??? mommy issues Santi??? god. He's soooooo special to me.

The thing I wish i could emphacize better is the contrast between his abilities and his trauma.

I am not good at writting action... so i dont. But I need everyone to understand, Santi is incredibly capable as a soldier and as a DEA agent. He does not need protection, he does not hide behind Javi nor does Javi particularly stress about Santi in the field. He worries durig gunshots or when he hasn't heard from him OFC, bc thats his best friend, the man he loves, but he absolutly does not see Santi as someone he needs to stand in front of or control. He respects him as an equal the way he did Steve. He does not need his hand held and I hope I can do better in future chapters as they do more detective work going after Lorea. He's young, only 25, but a lifetime of being parentified and adult responsibilities had made him capable and smart beyond his years.

And in bed, although Candy takes the lead, through these weeks with Candy Santi has grown far more comfortable and can pleasure her for hours. It's just not shown rn bc in fics I have limited time

It's his emotions though, thats what needs protection.

We'll go more into it in a few chapters but his mom was emotionally incestuous. If you don't know what that means, let me clarify that it does not mean he was molested. It means that she treated him like husband. They Santi was expected to work from age 9 to keep the household afloat, the way his mom allowed him to stay up late with her as she complained about his dad and his sister.

His older sister, Elena, was not super helpful either but seeing as their mom was physically abusive to her and emotionally abusive in different ways, she was a victim too. These sorts of family dynamics are designed to keep siblings apart, to prevent them from banding together. Elena resented Santi a lot for not standing up for her, for their moms special treatment, but as she entered college and learned about feminist theories, she brought a new issue t Santi, even if it was inadvertent. The need to be a better man than their father, a better man than the men who victimized her.

Between his mother and sisters expectations and his strict catholic upbringing, Santi is absolutely CRUSHED by the need to be good, to be perfect, to never slip up ever. He's nto allowed to slip up, and that means repressing his sexuality, repressing his desire for Javi so far down it manifests in constant anxiety. Candy is his only outlet. Candy allows him to feel sexual without feeling like he's harming her, like he was taught sex before marriage would do...

Until A few chapters later, when the bubble bursts and all his guilt comes crashing down... but that's later.

Emperor and Págos dynamic rambling

I being a sort of "My Tav's core romance is with the emperor" vibe that Normal baldurs gate players really dont like

Anyway. I feel like i've gone through all stages of grief and have temporarily arrived at acceptance for this brief period of time, lets get it.

I'm going to ramble abt Págos individually. and their dynamic as that progresses.

Págos may not initially be aware that he's a dragon, but he sure does act like one. He cannot shake the core of who he is, personality shaped by being the truth of his origins.

He is Stubborn, he sees the world in hard rights and wrongs but not in the sense of morality but rather what he deems to make sense. And yet he carries with him the patience of a being that can live for centuries, a sort of stillness to conflict. Inherently intense but not negatively so. Half of who he is, half of what it took for when he became tired of war and conquest. And he is also alien to it, in his life he was always both the mighty and the meek, and with his lost memories in the present he can sense something missing about himself and his relations to others but isn't able to fully grasp it.

So. The dream visitor. Of course he does not trust him, why would he? It is obvious to him, he knows war, he knows tactics and manipulation, he knows when he is being lied to. And yet, the sincerity is what gives him pause, the half truths, the small slips of the mask.

Their conversations are tip toeing on ice, smiles even though they are both aware a game is being played. So after the initial first icebreaker conversations, they start treating each visit like a game of chess. Embrace the power of the tadpoles, the confidence it isn't needed, why follow the instructions when the person giving them is obviously wearing a mask.

I think the emperor initially found him frustrating, and vice versa, but there was a realization that they were equally matched and what was frustration became begrudging Admiration. Dare I say another shared trait was loneliness. As much as they both needed an ally, the dream visitor needed a friend though he would probably think he was above such sentiment. Págos was surrounded by people he was growing closer to, but at the same time no one was able to engage him quite like his mysterious ally could.

Págos got him to reveal more of his true feelings than he would like to admit. And then the climax of it all: the dream visitor a mindflayer. And more surprising: Págos did not care. I mean, he cared for an explanation, but he does not hold the same knowledge of mindflayers, its not above him of there being a possibility that in the evilness of their faction, one could be good. The same way chromatic dragons and their followers were infamous for their own "evil" ambitions, while he decided to break free of it.

I think their thin friendship grew into an actual one after more truths were revealed. Págos valued his opinion more than he did beforehand, and The Emperor was willing to briefly put aside his own arrogance for the one person who could actually challenge him. You need me, I need you.

It was only natural it would evolve into something further, I think it was only elevated by the way Págos treated him as an individual rather than a presumptuous idea of what a mindflayer is, not out of sympathy really, but more out of like, facts. I think the idea of them being equally matched in the "games" they play with each other is kinda attractive to him (the emperor). Someone who could match him move for move.

For Págos…

But what is more tempting to a dragon than gold and glory? Devotion to a cause. to a person, to a feeling.

I do want to clarify that Págos do grow to care deeply about him, I just meant like, to Págos it was much less complicated on his part. I feel like the emperor had a whole thing he had to process before he came to the conclusion he was growing fond of Págos, whereas Págos that's just simply what it was. There was no questioning it.

Anyway, Ough. The wyrm trials, the "there is no war in ba sing se" moment. Págos has almost always been able to tell when he was lying, and it became even more obvious after sharing their minds together that one night, he can read him so much easier. So of course he knew he was lying again

And so the reveal of Ansur, the reveal of his past life as Balduran, and Págos' memories flooding back about who HE is.

The only reason Págos and the emperor were not aware of the fact he's a dragon is because the emperor didn't Dig for his memories, he merely studied what was given and there in the moment.

When Ansur possesses him its stated in the game he quite literally Forces himself into your mind, he searches through every inch of it. And I think at first he is too distracted by Balduran's presence. It's not until he gets to the part where he calls Págos Balduran's "thrall" that he hesitates. He searches deeper, and it makes him Angrier.

Him digging deeper into Págos' mind causes Págos to remember. His mother, his clan in its entirety, his nature as a white dragon, But Págos doesn't get to swallow this until later. Ansur gets angrier. He accuses Balduran of replacing him with another Dragon, of making a dragon his thrall, it disgusts him further. And before anyone can get answers the fight begins as it does in game.

The afterwards conversation feels like more of a confrontation, pointed sharp questions. "Why did you keep this from me" "why did you never speak of him" "Why did you kill him" Págos' emotions slipping through due to the revelations about himself also. Ansur was his friend, and yet the emperor probably knew him better than he did. And yet there is that one inexplicable truth. Ansur inspired him to break free of the oath, and it was Ansur's oath that killed him. The cruel irony of it all.

The emperor answers this less defensive than he does in game. I feel like he is a little more sincere in this canon with the fact that he and Págos are...something.

And Págos cannot deny his logic. Its true he was an adventurer, ansur was never mentioned and he never asked, it's true Págos knows what survival can do to someone. He's seen it, he has lived it, he has been the hand that twisted back the knife many times. "You would have done the same." A statement the emperor knows is true. But it's the withholding of more information that angers Págos, rightfully of course. And then the final sting of, "Will you kill me too?" Because Págos cannot devote himself to something that will once again lead him to a cliff's edge, not again.

I think the emperor is more vulnerable there, he tells him how he still mourns his previous companions, he tells him how much he lost, and he tells him of course not, Págos is different, he Trusts him, it was for his own survival, a last resort. At the same time, he is trying to do and say anything that will keep Págos at his side, because just this once he found an ally,a partner that accepts him as he is (and is powerful at that) the idea of losing that…he would avoid it by any means necessary.

big theorypost for episode 3 of hunter the parenting

there was a lot in this episode! goddamn, not even just for d either. i have a lot of stuff for d, kitten and potential foreshadowing from pyotr. specifically pyotr, there's some cool stuff there that i've been thinking about. schizoposting commence BIG D more fuel to the idea that the credits sword/d's sword is a title being manifested in the fact that he clearly summons it and desummons it in the episode, and the fact that he does nothing which lines up with the legend thing

where did his sword go? where did it go. it was flung in this direction. where is it. where is it dont have much else for d this episode other than that nothing contradicts the theory. it isnt less plausible, but it does only get a little bit more plausible unless ive missed things. there'll probably be shit next episode there is also the fact that he doesn't seem to know how to use an icepack- or, alternatively, he was a beast-like changeling that finds chewing on it comforting? it would line up with how he deformed last episode, but i've been considering a d fairie custodes characters (krakus, potentially waamudes and custodisi) changeling thing which might work. also, his 'hissing' is translated, which would make SENSE considering that bastet have a language that sounds like animal noises but is, like.. speech. i say bastet but i mean every shapechanger ever. now that we've clarified that kitten is a bastet, what does this mean? wouldn't he be hunted by the team? before i ramble about what this means, i first need to clarify something. bastet come in tribes- most tribes are built around big cats, like lions and tigers. kitten clearly isn't one of those. even in this more catlike form, he's still very small compared to what you would expect from a bastet of any other tribe. he also lives in europe, alongside a fae.

the ceilician are a commonly thought extinct tribe of bastet. commonly found in europe, they allign themselves closely with the fae- they are smaller and weaker than most other tribes of bastet, but are exceptionally fast, intelligent and skilled with blades. due to their close proximity with fae and fae-aligned creatures, most ceilicians are skilled with some form of magic. they're also unusually skilled with computers... mmmmyeaaah but im sure it means nothing the more i theorise about this the more i feel like i'm losing iiit aaaaaaaaaaaa PYOTR

in the eyecatcher its explained how the sabbat crew got embraced. pyotr, the nosferatu and scrungly meow meow, got embraced during a deep sea mining operation. a nosferatu being embraced. underwater the concept of antediluvians is a muddled one, particularly in old world of darkness where everything has been retconned and where original books are hard to come across. what IS concrete though is the relationships that certain bloodlines (hah) have with their antediluvians. it's always absolutely awful, like completely without fail. for example, the malkavians were driven mad and are essentially waiting for malkav to eat their consciousness and assume control of their bodies. the nosferatu have a particularly bad relationship- to make a long story short (let me know if you want me to explain the lore in another post lmfao) the nosferatu antediluvian wants to kill every single nosferatu for being ugly and ruining his reputation. he's enlisted a group of nosferatu to hunt down and kill every remaining member of the clan. he can't do this himself, because he's sleeping like every other antediluvian. he's currently sleeping at the bottom of the pacific ocean, according to the gehenna (vampire apocalypse) sourcebook.. where, uh pyotr was embraced, apparently? why was a nosferatu EMBRACED down there??? of all things he should have died, what the fuck was the sabbat doing too? something fishy is going on here. maybe he was recruited to kill off a group of nosferatu, but that makes.. less sense? i don't know. something's going on there but i dont know what because i'm stupid.

also he ended up dying because he diablerised everyone, lol. eat shit enjoy the extra souls in hell pissboy

i love the way a rush of.happiness made me ignore when people are shitty to me but i also feel the need to share the anecdote because it's kind of outlandish. Puttimg it under the cut though.

The other day my dad spent like a 1 hour csr ride repeatedly saying things like "hey i wish you had failed and couldnt graduate so you would stay by my side" in response to me getting a 90 on an exam to finish my degree. And then asking me if i didnt want to drop out instead or have him run my payments or that maybe I should study something else or whatever to probably not sound like he is happy when things are bad for me. or we are watching a movie or literally anything unrelated and he goes "oh everyone is going to abandon me even you. your brother sucks that is why did he left as soon as he graduated, dont do the same". Or the weird comments he makes about my art. And lets be honest in comparison to how he verbally harasses like 80% of every person that interacts with him I have it easy.

Let me clarify that I know his attitude is shitty and his words hold no weight over my worth. I know that he tries to provoke me and then insist i dont understand jokes when I call out his behavior. It's not debilitating it's just annoying, I'm writing this so I remember the specific things he says.

reading your and jaspers posts about bryce with silent admiration because im too scared to contribute but i really love bryce so much hes my girlfriend and my husband and i like hearing u guys talk about him because youre Right. especially as someone who struggled from grief and trauma and being abused i think bryce's case interests me more than any of the other characters (even though liam is my favorite, and it says a lot because i find all of them interesting) because there is so much to him. i doubt he has processed a single thing about what happened. i think stellas death was recent too honestly, within the last few years at least, and he copes by... not coping. burying himself in work and drinking in the hopes to forget about it. not even to mention the fact that in episode 7 it showed him driving home drunk personally i feel he was past the point of caring to the point of engaging in risky/dangerous behaviors (this speaks for itself, i dont think i need to say why). i think that the plane impacted him so much that within those 7 months after leaving he got his shit together. i cant speak for if hes totally sober or not but at the very least he doesn't drink as much as he used to and i doubt he's putting himself in danger anymore. to be honest i think bryce is one of the characters who has changed the most because of the plane, which makes him being rejoined all the more interesting to me. im probably just making shit up but i like to read into it a little more than "bryce and liam were getting along but now theyre separated and liam has to fix it oh no". sorry this ask is kind of word vomit im not in the headspace to tidy it up but i hope you get what i mean

i think if one had continued for longer than it did it would have been interesting to explore bryce finally accepting and coming to terms with his past (him not seeing his childhood home in the wr anymore kind of representing this). i love bryce and he deserves to heal

brcye really IS such an interesting character???? ik ive said it before but i AM biased towards protagonists so i usually focus on liam but like ...... bryce really IS probably one of the more. indepth ? characters in one in terms of like. background and how he Acts. i think ALL of teh characters are written really incredibly but i think, given how much of his bg is clarified (esp in contrast with how little is shown of the other characters lives pre-one) his motives, personality, emotions all end up being SUPER super elaborate and i REALLY love how he was written ??

(that said i think the reason he IS elaborated on sm is bc like. one doesnt elaborate on character backgrounds like MOST of the time. even charlotte is mostly left up to interpretation, bc one is more about the HOW people respond rather than WHAT made them respond that way. but charlotte and bryce are both outliers, and bryce ESPECIALLY so. because both obviously have Things they havent worked through properly, but bryce is directly just. Living in it. its the fact that he WONT acknowledge the actual Things that hapepned enough to heal that warrants the elaboration. while the other characters stop acknowledging ANYTHING about their lives , save for charlotte, who gradually works out her issues themselves, because THATS whats effecting her, bryce is CONSTANTLY just. he Needs to go back, but his problems ARE about what happened, and the fact that his life outside of the plane was what MATTERED to him, but that even then, he just Wouldnt acknowledge that life when he Needed to. idk if that makes sense but ohhh i think about the decision to elaborate on some characters and to not on others bc it feels Important)

hes so. he mirrors all of the contestants in some ways, but he mirrors amelia a LOT in that both of them respond to trauma by Setting It Aside. like That Trauma Cant Affect Me If I Dont Look At It. like. ur right bryce has NOT processed ANY of his trauma. which like it makes SENSE bc. it prob feels so much easier to him to not think about it by drinking instead, because its a Lot to think about. its a Lot to come to terms with. but bc he WONT acknowledge it but its still AFFECTING him he just gets More and More miserable (the detail about him driving home drunk and not even caring is so. :( )

what IS one of the most. compelling? aspects of his character to me is the way he responded to Everything after getting eliminated. bc it just feels So Real. because he IS healing, not completely, and not in the best way, but he clearly like. started putting SO much work into improving his life??? (the detail of him finally getting an end table for his bed instead of just... using a cardboard box ALWAYS gets to me. and that + the fact that the photo of stella is put up makes it seem like. THATS what was in that box. he LITERALLY started Unpacking thigns. its like poetry to me.) because it IS hard, and i think hes still putting things to the side, shoving the trauma from the plane to the side now instead of all his other grief and trauma. and the removal of the cans from his room yknow?? that hes getting up for work on time now?? its like. yeah i agree idk if hes necessarily SOBER yet but he really does seem like hes working really hard

its not perfect, but its BETTER and it feels. correct?? (and tbh? trying to brush off the plane as a dream isnt even teh worst thing he couldve done with that, i think, bc reasonably what WAS he supposed to do w that experience?? i dont think there WAS a good answer) bc the plane was a whole new kind of trauma. and i think surface level, one would THINK hed get WORSE after further trauma but like. i think he DID in some ways but in the ways that actually affected how he acknowledged and responded to his pre-existing trauma DID get better bc, as he puts it, hed Thrown his life away before, and didnt want to do it again. bc this time, he very well couldve died. and while he was on the plane, being home, on earth was SO much better than the plane, and it recontextualized Everything. hell, maybe after that, the earth finally felt Less daunting, like somewhere he Wanted to be, because for once, he WANTED to be back, and rationalizing That and the fact that he got Lucky, that something Worse couldve just full on Killed Him Forever really DID mean he didnt WANT the worse to come, at least not as much as before. but that meant he HAD to start actually Working on improving things, and i think he may not have Intended to acknowledge Worse things, but simply because the things he had to do to improve his life, like drinking less, making his house more Livable, they all Forced him to think about things More. hes still certainly not thinking about them as much as he Should, hes still not Processing things, but hes Heading in the right direction . he really was SO changed by ONE

and then liam showing up forces him, once again, to think about something he tried to push to the side. aaaaaaaandd then he rejoins and its so. it feels thematically fitting and IS so so SO interessting. because for once in his life hes REALLY facing his trauma head on. but then is brought straight back into it. and i need to think about that aspect more bc those thoughts are a bit less Focused than my other thoughts but given how complex his writing is after he gets OUT, its. SO interesting to think about how being BACK affects him

esp bc like. him starting ep 18 Pissed Off- which historically his responses to trauma are to either just Be Shocked, as depicted a LOT in ep 14, or to get Very Vocally pissed, as shown through the first half of s1, esp ep 6, and ep 11, and ep 13, and ep 18. ive seen it written as 'he doesnt have anywhere to direct the sheer amnt of STRESS and fear so he just. ends up yelling at people bc what else CAN he do' and i think thats?? probably fairly accurate. i dont think hes as Constantly Irritable and Irrationally Angry as fanon presents him , bc it tends to be. excessive. but he DOES get reasonably angry in response to stress !!! i always think abt how his body language in the 'credits' scene of ep 6 look like hes yelling at airy. and im. lays on the ground. i dont even know if thats ever as much 'just anger' as it is Fear and it FUCKS ME UP

but the way i see it, that ties to ep 18 a LOT. because he was really Getting better. hell, what he thought was the WORST that could happen HAPPENED (dying) but he. came out OKAY? its like he was being forced to think about and work through his trauma and he survived and was ok. but being sent back is like. 'oh god i did that all for nothing.' but i think it also sort of?? serves as the Last Push for him to really, REALLY acknowledge the plane (which is why it makes sense so thematically for him to be the rejoiner. he WAS the only contestant whod Chosen to ignore it all. but that has nothing to do with the plane, he cant choose if the plane ignores Him.) past talking about its affects, how its affected people. because after everything hed worked toward, hes Back. hes back, and everyone else is STILL HERE. liam had said they were all still There but seeing them there is a whole other thing. hed SEEN the effects of making it out after 7 months. but he never saw what it was like to still BE there after all that time. and bryce CARES about them (fanon sometimes treats him as if he is a bit. coldhearted? but i think people misattribute him being unhappy with liam as him not caring. i think the problem is that he maybe cares too much, and was affected a LOT, but didnt and doesnt know how to handle that. so he WANTS to ignore it, because it was all he could do, and haaving to backtrack on his haphazard healing from the plane is. highly daunting and uncommfortable and terrifying. thats not being cold though, thats VERY different) and now he HAS to acknowledge Everything, has to be a part of it Again. and i think its a combination of 'liam was here for 7 months after we all thought itd only be a few weeks. Anything could happen. who knows how long ill be here for?' and 'liam didnt have anything when he came back. will I have anything when i come back?? will i have worked so, so hard to heal and fix my life for Nothing?' and 'i dont WANT to be here again.' and 'oh my god all of them Really Really Are Here. Theyve been here the whole time.' and i think all that culminates in an appropriate amount of horror, and that prompts him to do what hes STARTED doing, which was All He Can. and hes pissed off cus hes terrified, so he spurs everyone into pulling out the plug. and then. it doesnt work. it doesnt work and thats the LAST of what he had, and i think iirc hes the LAST one to close his eyes afterwards. because hed BEEN off the plane, hes the one of them who had any hope to give them anymore. and it didnt work

(i also think a lot about how it mustve felt seeing the contestants all so. resigned. because bryce was like that before all this, but ever since one began he was stubborn, and didnt WANT to give up. and i think finding out that these people youd seen try so, so hard just to Handle Any Of This be SO resigned would be. so fucked up. he knew amelia when she was so determined to leave, and while charlotte seems a bit saddened by her resignation, bryce was there BEFORE that happened. he wasnt there like liam or charlotte was to see it gradually develop, and to develop that despair alongside them. all hes seen is that amelia was so determined. and that he may not have known her THAT well before, he knows shes different. he knows she Gave Up and like. GOD. and also i think abt how he mustve Felt seeing the plug for the first time because ehs the only one of them who hadnt seen it before (given its likely all the other characters had, since they casually refer to it). and given the short time frame between him getting there, and the contestants trying to pull the plug? it almost seems that that was like. the last straw. and ive never posted it but i once drew stuff abt it bc. the damage to it is noticable. and i think hes already aware liam was fucked up, but this is like. a tangible, permanent record of that on the plane. and he cares about liam, and has been grappling with all the things liams told him, but thats. thats something he can See. And i think it all of it culminates in him deciding that what hes been avoiding is doing Soemthing about all this, because before he couldnt, and then it was. an awful idea to, and then he didnt have many choices BUT to help. but now theres hardly anything to do, but he has to try. he doesnt want to give up. and it makes me soooooooooooooooooo. head in hands.)

anyway that was a LONG tangent the point is. YEAH. i think rejoining would be. very very significant for his character i dont think youre making shit up its DEFINENTLY a topic w a lot of things to discuss about it

but god. yeah it wouldve been SO nice to see him come to terms with everything hed been through before one. i think the show purposefully included what it did and ended when it did because it makes more sense thematically for it to go unresolved, because the point was that NOTHING was able to be resolved nicely because unfortunately, many things are Out Of Their Control. things COULDVE resolved almost perfect but enough things went wrong at just the right (or more fitting, wrong) time for all of that to not work. i think him no longer seeing the suburbs may have signalled more that maybe, just maybe, he could Do something to help the other contestants even if HE was Dead, that now he finally HAS a goal, if that makes sense (though i think even in the timeline of the series it still wouldve taken way longer for him to process everything Fully, they WERE only in the waiting room for probably about a day) but the idea of finally seeing the waiting room as it is bc hed finally worked through everything .... man.............. man

ik ive already said it though but i DO think it is sooooo so possible for him to heal post canon. im a firm believer that no matter what, at LEAST bryce and ameliaa get home (liam and charlotte have more room for error but i DO generally interpret the ending as them both getting home too, theres just less room for things to go wrong w amelia and bryce). and i think after everything? hed be able to heal. it would SUCK but i think hes, shockingly, in a better place Logistically for things to improve, because he has a support system, he has what hed already worked on in those 7 months, he has so much to aim for. it would be rough and take long but i think ultimately? hed be able to heal :) and its what he deserves

the manga anthologies (which is what the j/npr manga is) canonicity is actually even weirder than the official manga (shirow miwa and bunta kinami versions) or comics. basically no one on the writing team agrees on where they are canon-wise, with Kerry calling them "things that could take place in the show if [the writers] had more time" and Miles just straight up saying that they're like "awesome fanfiction" (though Kerry also says that they gave feedback to the artists to keep the stories in line with canon so?? if knightfall not endgame why keep it in 🤨🤨)

this isnt me raining on your parade or anything i just think that the way that canon works for certain side projects for the story is absolutely wild and the manga anthologies being the most ambiguously canon is my favourite fun fact. maybe mercury flirted with ruby after they locked torchwick up at the end of v2 at a banquet held in team r/wby's honor, maybe he didnt. maybe cinder had a dream about how pretty jaune is, maybe she didnt. we just dont know! (we do know. We Do.)

Sorry I took a bit to reply I was in a really bad mood. I appreciate you clarifying these elements about the canon. I generally avoid reading what creators say about their texts as much as possible because it near-universally annoys me even when I agree with them. I just don't want to know. It like breaks the magic. But it is helpful to know specifically about the canonicity so thank you.

I have a broader methodological issue which is giving me intense mental pain than just the manga being canon or not, but that's something to consider anyway. I still think it's freakishly weird they put The Prince and Me in. They're probably not aware I'm searching for Cupid and Psyche themes. It works bizarrely well and it annoys me, because you even get the masked supernatural lover elements lining up, and some twisty subversion because Cinder is the monstrous one. But I'm just an idiot reading into stuff. That's my problem.

I also just don't know why they'd slip in something romantic with Jaune and Cinder. Like that's not a pairing they'd be shipbaiting, there's no fandom to shipbait for, it's controversial because Cinder killed Pyrrha, the dream is literally about Cinder killing Pyrrha then it becoming Cinder being hit by Cupid's arrow noticing how pretty Jaune is, like here I was worried that writing my Knightfall fanfic would make me seem insensitive? They literally just smacked romance right over the murder that people keep bringing up like it's a topic I've never considered and something we all need to be really cautious about because of Pyrrha. :(

like it's kind of a joke, and I can't tell if they were catering to their audience shoe-in there or what but it's bad. Probably one of my least favourite sequences in the whole show, it completely negates the purpose of Pyrrha's character to the point it makes me thematically question what they were trying to do with her and it subverts the point of the fatal flaw.

Like I get the emotional takeaway is 'It's worth going on despite the loss and it wasn't all in vain' but also, gaudy golden statue and mysterious woman. Horrible.

i havent claimed to be that for a while.. although i do still listen to their music and solo stuff which to normal people would be more than enough to classify me as a fan lmao

but even though i doubt youre even going hear me out at all, im gonna use your ask to sort of clarify what i was talking about the other day for anyone willing to listen. because although i am currently only interested in "stanning" jhope (which by the way is a completely normal thing to do, literally armys are the only people who demonize so heavily the idea of only caring for one member of group) i do feel like the things i said came off a bit harsher than i meant and believe it or not i really dont have anything against the individual bts members

most of the people that are all upset about me being a "solo stan" are probably to far deep into that cult mindset to bother trying to understand what i have to say but im going to try anyway. and i really hope that u could at least try to read it with an open mind.

first of all, when i said i need bts stop holding jhope back, i would like to correct myself in that what i should have said was that i need HYBE to stop holding him back, because i honestly feel that all the members of bts are being equally fucked over by how hybe has chosen to handle this hiatus, their solo careers, and basically the last 2 years of their career. and i dont think they have as much of say in how these things happen as people think. if u dont mind id like to bring in a visual aid 👍

now although this is just an estimation of what the next few years will look like and some little details might be switched up, i think it still gives u a good idea of how things will probably play out. literally all i meant by "bts is holding him back" is that weve been waiting since 2018/2019 for new jhope music and now that this rushed and poorly promoted release of jack in the box is over he wont be able to release anything until like 2025 at the very least. and its because hybe is going to have every other member release solo projects consecutively regardless of whether they are genuinely organically at a place of being ready to release solo music, all in order to get them back as a group as fast as possible to increase profit again. meanwhile jhope is at the top of his popularity right now following hobipalooza and yet his solo era is officially over now and he will most likely be radio silent for the next few years.

there are so many things that frustrate me about how this has all played out. first of all the fact that their enlistment was pushed back so far that it has now come at arguably the worst time in their careers. hybe SHOULD HAVE had them enlisting or putting amout solo projects as soon as the pandemic ramped up instead of forcing them to release some of the worst songs in their discography, causing them to feel burnt out and that theyve lost their direction (which is literally exactly what they said in the festa video so dont even try to say im twisting their words). as someone who still genuinely enjoys bts' pre-pandemic music, i will never understand why some fans standards are low enough to think that their releases after mots7 compare to their previous music at all

but regardless of how i feel about their recent releases, hybe has been holding jhope back since mic drop. he has been consistently getting the least amount of lines and center time, to the point where he was able to showcase more of who he is as an artist in this past month of his solo release and with his lollapalooza performance than he has in the last several years as a member of bts. i dont care if youre a "solo stan" or not, you cant argue that. how can it possibly be good for someones development as an artist to always be pushed to the side like that. he has even talked in an interview before about actively holding himself back as to match the level of the other members.

he had less than 5 total minutes of lines for the entire set list of the permission to dance on stage concerts. hybe has one of the best dancers in the industry under their roof and yet theyve had him locked up in the basement since mots7 doing such simple choreo. and now, just as he finally starting to gain some recognition as a solo artist, he will be radio silent for the next 3 years AT LEAST.

now as for what i said about the rest of bts not being on jhopes level when it comes to performances, i realize that it probably sounded harsher than i meant it. but its honestly nothing against the other members, there are very few idols or artists in general that could have put on the sort of performance that jhope did at lollapalooza. its not a bad thing that someone like jimins excels more in a group performance (which hes said himself), or that people like rm and suga arent as much performers as they are producers and song writers. but its also not fair that jhope should have to be held back from his full potential within the group because of that

anyway, the point of everything ive said is that its not the bts members im referring to when i said bts is holding jhope back, its the way hybe treats them as a unit even when it comes to their solo projects. there was so much demand for jhope at lollapalooza he could easily being doing like a tour right now or other sorts of performances, literally any sort of promo like that, but hes not able to because hybe is holding him back and his solo era that weve been waiting years for was literally over within less than a month with the absolute bare minimum promotion on hybes end and we will most likely not see much of him anytime soon. so i hope you can understand why as someone whos a fan of him, thats a bit frustrating to me.

bts have had a good run as a group, i really do still like listening to their old music and watching their performances. and if in the future any of them do release a solo project that piques my interest id like to think that id be free to express my interest in it on my blog without being boxed in to the term "solo stan". but the way hybe treats them as a they exist as a group is clearly not productive for any of them anymore and only benefits the company in the form of profit. and if youre too far up their asses to see that then i dont know what to tell u

They were following cryptids around from 16 to 19, up until they found out about Fazbear Containment. They didn't really have anything better to do, and even if it was only 3 years they learnt a lot!

The only thing I will say about this is Vanny is definitely gonna be playing a bigger role later but not the one you might expect, same thing with Henry :)
