My bullets design was a bit more complicated than my three cheers because of the lack of cohesive imagery in bullets. But I decided to go with a pulpy zombie design featuring the woman from the demolition lovers.

i hope gerard understands what their art means to me. means to us. kids from yesterday and world is ugly and drugstore perfume and ambulance and scarecrow and demo lovers. and all it. I am not afraid to keep on living. we are the kids from yesterday. she waits at windows. everybody hide your body from the scarecrow, I’ll keep you safe tonight. I’ll be the one who drives you home tonight. You’ll never fight alone, are you thinking of me, like I’m thinking of you? And I would drive on the end with you.

aw man remember the SHEER EXCITEMENT we’d feel when MCR would roll out a new concept album back in the day? like fortunately i was around to see TBP & DD get introduced to the world (i became a fan in 2006) and that was just so exciting. i felt similar feelings during the 2019 return announcement and then “Foundations of Decay” and then the tour!!! MCR just has this...magnitude about them.

listening to Vampires Will Never Let You again just as it is, as a song in the album and it makes me appreciate even further just how well it reads like a tragic story doomed from the very start on its own.
The first two albums have their stories chained, though the story is more clear in the second one; yet VWNHY being a story within a story, cultivated so well with the lyrics, the instruments and the way it’s sung.
How it sounds rather tame yet sad at the beginning (until it grows, evolves into somewhat of a hysteria) and only builds up further, to fall down the hill, crashing onto the ground. From the very start, the end of it is clear yet there is still a pinch of hope
“someone get me to the doctor, someone get me to a church”
Yet before it can even round up fully, the acceptance of the doomed fate arrives, the fate is sealed, there is no point in fighting it now
“And someone buy me roses and someone burned the church. We're hanging out with corpses and driving in this hearse”
So it can reach the only other branch of thought it can in a desperate, desolate situation like this: and just as in the beginning, begging the person to stake them, their heart, asking if they can
