Yknow I was also thinking... if Neuvi were to ask Furina to become immortal again for his sake, she might actually say yes. Which is exactly WHY he'd never ask her to do so, because as much as he dreads her inevitable absence, he won't condemn her to that fate again
You got it. Because when she took on that curse half a millennium ago, it was also a request she agreed to. For the sake of all of Fontaine and not just the sake of Focalors, but it's still all too similar. Even if she said yes to him because she actually wants it then, who's to say she'll always want it? Who's to say the decades, the centuries won't weigh heavier and heavier as they pass, just like before? Who's to say she won't have to ask him to make her mortal again? And that would be even more painful than simply letting her go when she's meant to. So instead he'll treasure the time she has, that she's more than earned, and he'll do everything he can for her to treasure it too.

since there are still new people liking and reblogging my tally hall art/posts, old and new(ish), i figured i should make my stance clear. joe hawley has proven time and time again that he cannot be trusted to foster safe and appropriate interactions with his fans, especially those who are underage. and this is to say nothing of the extremely harmful and bigoted views he has repeatedly expressed surrounding race and gender.
any past art i have made of him or any appreciation i have for tally hall and their work does not include any support for him and his actions. in fact, it's more reason to condemn his behavior, for using the importance this band has to his underage audience to take advantage of them. i would advise any fans, minors or not, to take caution and avoid him, and to not put him up on a pedestal for the sake of others as well.

bepo "i have to grieve over my brother but my husband is back from his personal little war and I'm way too happy about that so i'm crying out of happiness instead" of the mink tribe
when something happens but you are already entirely occupied with a much bigger thing - and its crazy that law going off on his "i may not return, sorry" mission alone - WAS more important to bepo in the moment than learning about the death of his brother...
because realistically he kinda lost his brother when zepo left when bepo was 8. he just vaguely held onto hope of possibly seeing him again. learning that big mom killed him took away that possibility and that's all that bepo lost
meanwhile law is bepo's whole life....he lived with law for his conscious years as a teen and adult, and even in simple numbers he lived with law for longer that he lived on zou
i'm absolutely reading too much into the bad writing and shoddy development of bepo& zepo's story, filling the giant gap all by myself but i like that it being underwritten aids to lawbepo. and i love the simple brutality of it

official horsie Walters appreciation post
(@sharkneto's OCs from his shifting together series)
Sarah is off to kill those self defense instructors from ch 17 of joining together; bundled up Rob is from his first appearance in ch 1 of holding it together
[ID: three drawings of the Walters, a couple who are typically regular humans but at the moment are centaurs. Sarah is a white woman with long brown hair, and in the centaur au her horse body is red and white speckled with a brown tail. Rob is a white man with brown hair, and his current horse body is also brown. His legs are darker, but he also has white socks.
The first image is both of them side by side, demonstrating the horse designs.
The second is of Sarah, trotting briskly and angrily while she talks on the phone. The person on the other end (Amanda) says "and one of the instructors broke Five's nose!" Sarah says "Oh, REALLY."
The third image is of Rob, saying "Allison Hargreeves?" He is wearing a combination human coat and horse coat, which seems to be two separate pieces meant to be paired together. He is also wearing a hat and a scarf. End ID.]

Hera, a child of conflict, grew up in the shadows of battle, her youth sacrificed at the altar of rebellion. For her, the fight against tyranny was not just a cause; it became her very essence, her reason for being.
But now, as the tides of war recede and the echoes of blaster fire fade, Hera finds herself standing on unfamiliar ground - the uncertain terrain of peacetime. The transition from a life of perpetual struggle to one of tranquility is not an easy one. Imagine, if you will, a soul accustomed to the rhythm of combat suddenly forced to confront the silence of peace. The challenge that Hera faces is not just personal; it is a reflection of the broader struggle that our society, our New Republic, grapples with.
In this new era, we find ourselves at a crossroads, where the wisdom of the past clashes with the exuberance of the youth. The architects of the Rebellion, like Mon Mothma, possess a wealth of experience in governance during peacetime. Theirs is a knowledge born from the trials and errors of history. Yet, the voices of the young, the likes of Hera and Leia Organa, echo with idealism, unclouded by the scars of past mistakes. It is a clash of perspectives, a battle between the pragmatism of experience and the fervor of youth.
Hera Syndulla, a leader born in the crucible of conflict, now faces the daunting task of guiding her people toward stability and prosperity. But within her, there simmers a restlessness, an unquenchable thirst for action. The years of rebellion have shaped her identity, defining her purpose in the heat of battle. How does one, who has only known war, find solace in a galaxy at peace? Is inaction a form of complacency, or is it the silence before a storm?
Hera's struggle is not just her own; it is a question that gnaws at the hearts of all those who have fought and bled for a cause. The fear of becoming obsolete, of losing purpose in a world without conflict, haunts her restless nights. And as she navigates this uncharted territory, she must also consider the impact on her son, the next generation, who will inherit the galaxy shaped by their parents' choices.
As we ponder the future of our New Republic, we must ask ourselves: Can Hera Syndulla, and others like her, find a place in a galaxy where peace reigns? Or will they continue to search for battles to fight, injustices to rectify, even if it means stirring the pot of strife once more? It is a conundrum that challenges the very core of our existence.
sorry it took me this long to answer manifesto anon
you're so right, Hera would never be able to sleep at night knowing the state of the galaxy
she doesn't know peace but she craves it, and the moment she obtained it it's so shaky and unstable 😭
also can you write my thesis for me LMAO you have such a way with words

A list of things Akiza started to do after S1, headcanons—
Gardening with her mother in their backyard; besides roses, they also grow tulips, hydrangeas, and daffodils among other things
Going to art exhibits and museums with her father, who decided to cut back on his political life to make up for lost time
Learnin how to babysit kids first time using Luna and Leo as practice at Poppo Time
Getting into doing her nails
Making friends with a female student in her year but from another class; they talk about classes and help each other study for upcoming exams
After being mentored by Crow to take his place in the WRGP, they start hanging out more after Akiza gets out of school; their go-to is Café Vameowlla
Learning Russian with the help of Papa Izinski—and later Jack who is also learning it
After getting her license, she starts taking Bloody Kiss to school
She studies and is smart, but she isn't always the top student in every subject—though she retains the crown at dueling all the way to graduation
Getting into holidays to the fullest! She really enjoys Valentine's Day and Christmas because she likes giving gifts
Becoming friend with Jack on her own—Jack at some point invited himself over to the Izinski residence and took the chance to re-do first impressions with Mama and Papa Inzinski; he completely charmed the pants off them
At some point, she wants to experience the street life and asks Crow who immediately goes, "Let me show you the world."
Idk, in return for tutoring her, Akiza starts covering for milk at Poppo Time, so the only errands she does at the grocery store is buy more milk, lmaololololol. Yūsei appreciates it a lot and is happy to have an endless supply of milk
Do NOT tag as Faith — OP will block you, thanks
