The real reason netflix canceled L&C is because they know with the next seasons it would have be the best netflix original they’ve ever created (it already is in my book tbh) and they know that any show they make after that, people would be like “Oh that’s shows okay, but it’s nothing compared to Lockwood and Co.”

i don’t understand the point of the live action avatar remake beyond netflix wanting to make more money off of a show that got repopular upon coming to their streaming service. i haven’t watched it but from what i’ve seen and heard they’ve massacred all of the characters and butchered every storyline without any care for the original work. it’s just another example of netflix choosing capitalist greed over art and hollywood refusing to try out any new ideas.

my vision for the kane chronicles movie is that it starts with carter and sadie fighting over setting up an old camera and tape recorder. It comes into focus, and they're sitting on the floor of carter's room at the brooklyn house. They give the warning spiel from the beginning, and then afterwards, it fades into carter staring out the window as he sits in the back of a taxi on the way to the brooklyn house. every once in a while, the movie cuts out to show carter and sadie fighting over the microphone, or it pauses for a witty bit of narration from one of them, or it just cuts to them arguing in the present day when they're recording. if we don't get unhinged chapter title episode titles i want the whole thing to feel like a 14 year old and a 12 year old are recounting their adventures and that we are the ones who recieved the tapes from the locker.

Kaz Brekker would be SO proud of the fandom doing all this to get our shows back because to a lot of people it’s their comfort series.

And what did Kaz fight for the entire time in soc and ck? To take down Pekka Rollins, the man who took the comfort in his life (Jordie.)

And so now the Grishaverse fandom is like Kaz in a way. We’re going to take Netflix, a rich corporation who has taken something from us, down brick by brick.

It’s poetic tbh, and I think he would be proud.

I would just like to make a announcement to @netflix that you canceling the only shows that I seem to like is making me very upset. And I know that it is making a lot of other people want to unsubscribe to you. And if you continue down this road, I can already see it- You’re digging your own grave.

To the lockwood & co fandom. It has been a honor to love the same show and show each other love. I will miss you all and the show very deeply. And to the actors/actress and all the people who worked on the show, I am grateful for you. In the short time we have all loved this show was a blessing. And it was a comfort show for me, and I’m crying right now where I shouldn’t be but this has crushed me once again.

So Netflix, I hope hbo and any other platforms will take the shows you actually do good at. Which are a few, and make them better. Which is honestly funny because you always give the sh*tty shows more seasons then they deserve.

I will miss you all.
