Thats MY kid | Dad!Lucifer x Kid!Reader x "Uncle"Alastor |
Tumblr media
Summary: Alastor wants to take you out for some time with him!
Warnings: SFW | Probably OOC | Uncle!Alastor | Slight!YandereAlastor | Cursing | Canon violence | Canon hell |
Alastor tried to convince himself he was doing this to piss Lucifer off. No, he did not have any type of attachment to you, he did not see you as his own kid (even if you totally ignored his half request to be called dad when not being around Lucifer). And no, he was not hurt by that.
Right?
Yeah well no. You had touched his heart somehow and now Alastor was down bad, he swears you must have some type of demonic magic (and not just you being you and being amazing) because no one (only his mother) made him feel so much love in his life or after life.
"Uncle?" Your voice called him making Alastor look at you with his signature simile. "Why was dad angry when you showed up?"
~☆~☆~☆~
Earlier that day.
"ABSOLUTLY NO. GET OUT FROM MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW" Lucifer screamed at the radio Demon who just stared back.
"My my, I never had you for the possesive type of dad, with how much freedom you have give Charlie"
"Dont bring my daugther into this" Lucifer said almost breaking a pen. "We both know you want to take (Y/N) out just to get to me. And im not letting you create fake hopes for that kid. That kid is mine Alastor, maybe not by blood but its mine. And I promised I would protect them, for anything and anyone. You can piss me off however you want but dont bring (Y/N) into this".
Well fuck, Lucifer did care for you.
Also, fuck you Lucifer. You did not know how he felt (hell, not even Alastor knew how he felt towards you). After meeting you at the hotel, seeing you interact with the others and also play with his shadows, something started to form inside the old killer. And it got worse when you ran to him asking him how the radio worked, his insides making flips as he explained you.
He also did almost break when you were saying goodbye and hugged his legs. If that was any other Demon they would have ended dead on the spot. But it was you, and it felt right.
"Listen" Alastor started smile still on his face but his tone serious "Im not that low to bring (Y/N) into our....fights. You May not believe me but I care for that kid, if I did not for sure I would not have give him one of my shadows to protect them"
"Wait-you did what-"
"The point is" Alastor interrumped static forming "I dont plan on giving they fake hope, and thats all I Will say"
Silence passed for seconds that felt like hours, finally Lucifer nodded.
"Alright, i will let you take them for today, BUT anything and I mean anything happens to them, you will no longer be here" Lucifer said his tone for once being truly the one from a king of hell.
Alastor just nodded, taking his cane being ready to be out with you for the day.
"Oh and Alastor, I dont trust you. But i want (Y/N) to get here what they missed in life, so dont fuck this up"
~☆~☆~☆~
"Nothing your silly head must worry about!" Alastor assured you. However your face did show you were not buying what he said.
"Smile my Dear!! You know you are never fully dressed without one!!" Alastor tried again, stopping to take your hand and make you spin. Your laught coming out quickly making him relax.
"There it is!" He exclaimed then continue to walk besides you. Right now you two were in the cannibals town. For other demons and sinners this part was even more dangerous than the regular hell. But for Alastor it was like his home, demos in here knew him and liked him, and that extended to you as well. A few had waved and smiled, fresh blood showing. But Alastor had made sure you did not see any dead body, or parts of one.
"Now I have a suprise for you!, I have a friend who owns a restaurant and she accepted to take us in"
"...as food or clients?" You asked joking making the radio Demon smirk, radio laughts in the background.
"Well, since she is my friend, we are clients of coruse" Alastor responded getting a nod from you. "Of course you wont be eating anything...special, regular food I promise"
~☆~☆~☆~
When you two entered the restaurant you found it to be empy....aside from some workers who came quickly to guide Alastor and you to a private room with a big table.
There, on one of the chairs a very pale Demon with deep black eyes stood. Noticing Alastor she got on her feet coming closer.
"Alastor, its so good to see you again" she beamed at the radio Demon stopping a few inches away.
"And who may this little creature be?"
Jokes, Rosie knew who you were. He had to listen to Alastor talk about how unfair it was that you had decided to call Lucifer dad and not him.
Being by Alastor side gave you confidence so you took some small steps closer to her.
"Im (Y/N), im Alastor newphew" You stated proudly making Rosie smile showing her sharp teet.
"Thats wonderfull, now please sit I have prepared the best for both of you" Rosie exclaimed calling over the workers who appear to help the three of you settle down.
"For you my friend, I got you the finist meat from this side of hell" A plate with fresh flesh was presented making Alastor almost growl at it. "And for you little one a bird told me you loved chocolate" a big space on the table was now occupied with the biggest and most extravagant chocolate cake you have ever seen.
"I-its that all for me?" You asked not believing it. Getting a nodd from Rosie "and I cant eat all of it?" Again a nodd.
You almost cried when the first slice was put in front of you. No one ever got you cake in the living world.
"Oh and to help you not chocke with that, Alastor I have some.." Rosie paused looking for the right words seeing how you were now devouring the cake "a very special drink" she finally said, a bottle with red liquid appear. And for you, I prepared a mix of appel juice and strawberry" she said getting the most pure look from you.
"Thank you Miss"
"Oh, just call me Rosie" she responded.
~☆~☆~☆~
Turns out you ate most of the cake and now the sugar had gave you too much energy. Rosie had asked her workers to play with you some game of tag, without biting.
And hell, you were fast. Outrunning the old demons and even letting chairs fall to prevent them from coming closer.
Rosie used this moment to dig as much information about you from Alastor as she could find.
"So, Lucifer just decided to take them in? What a strange guy" she said sipping her own drink. "And now you are taking care of them?"
Alastor nodded "yes, you must see Lucifer's face when I show up and (Y/N) calls me uncle, he its so angry"
"But you truly care for them" Rosie stated. "You would never have asked me to prepare something that does not come from sinners or demons knowing where you are. You also made me order the town to keep the body display low to protect them"
Rosie could read Alastor as an Open book.
"Uncleeeee" your call alerted the overlords, seeing you running towards them with the biggest smile on your face. "The other said they are too tired to keep running after me, does this mean I won?"
"Well centraly!! I knew no one would be able to catch you. You are my relative after all"
You nodded and smiled going back to your chair to drink more juice. "This is amazing. Thanks a lot Mi-Rosie!"
"Aww, arent you the cutest" Rosie beamed her hands squishing your cheecks.
~☆~☆~☆
After the food and some more talking Alastor decided it was time for you to go back with Lucifer (and no, it was not because he had got at least 666 messages from him).
Rosie had told you to come whenever you wanted that no one would hurt you in her town.
~☆~☆~☆
"I had a great time Uncle!" You told Alastor as the big castle started to show in the distance.
"Well im glad Dear! Dont forget to tune the radio for my program tonight" Alastor said petting your head.
"I wont! Dad hates it but I love it, specially that music you use...ummmm jazz?"
Alastor started to think that just kindapp you and made you his kid instead would be for the best.
"(y/n)!!" A very distinct voice screamed
"DAD!!"
But he would not want to hurt your feelings so, seeing you from time to time would have to do.
He waited for the exchange to end, Lucifer asking you what have you done and also making sure you were not hurt. After that he nodded to himself.
"Alright, now go inside, Xin has prepared you a bath"
You nodded but turned towards Alastor going for his legs again to hug him.
"Thank you uncle!! No one ever took me to a restaurant or got me cake. Lets meet again soon" you smiled up to him showing pointy teet.
Before he could respond you were running inside the castle with a very worried maid behind you.
~☆~☆~☆~
"Well..looks like you did not ruin this" Lucifer stated seeing you run off.
"I told you I would not" Alastor responded offended. "(Y/N) has potential to grow up to be a powerfull sinner (no you did not) of course im going to look over them"
Lucifer just shoot Alastor a knowing smile then turned around to enter his home.
"Thanks for not breaking his heart" he finally said then the doors closed behind him leaving Alastor alone.
Of course he could not bring himself to do that, even if he wanted to. You were his newphew. His. Not someone else.
And no one breaks the things he loves.
Not even himself.

Mafia!Nanami that spoil's the absolute shit out of you, you need to be careful what you mention to the man since it will turn up at the house within a few hours / the next day.
"Nanami! You didn't have to get me this car!" You titled your head to the side, eyes glued to the baby pink Rolls Royce.
The man nearly scoffed as he placed his hand on your hip. His thumb gently messaging you, his eyes were so full of love when he looked down at you. "Non sense...whatever my Princess want's, my princess get."
Bitting your lip you then smiled as you wrapped your arms around his neck. "I want you."
Chuckling, Nanami easily lifted you. Your legs wrapping around his hips. "As you wish."
Mafia!Nanami, would rent out an entire theater just to see you smile. You're priceless to him, he has your laugh, everything about you burned into his memory.
Mafia!Nanami, never brings work home. He will never mention his jobs, what his has done or who he has killed to you. He know's you're fine with what he does, he knows that he only targets scum. He still hates the fact that he comes home to you after what he had done.
Mafia!Nanami, that travels all over the world for you. Tropical area's are his favorite to go, nothing beats laying in the sun with his beautiful wife. It's why he has his own private island. But if you so choose to pick a place with a colder climate then he would go for you, besides he can always warm you up in the best way possible.
Mafia!Nanami, will not hesitate to fuck you in front of one of his clients if he finds out said client won't leave you alone. He need's to show them that you are his and his alone. If they keep it up then they'll cease to exist.
Mafia!Nanami, love's it when you cock warm him. He'll let you do it anytime you please.
If he is in a meeting? Of course, nothing feel's better then being buried deep within your pussy while his men explain to him whats going on in his neck of the woods.
On the phone with a friend? Say no more! Dealing with Gojo's teasing is worth seeing the expressions on your cute little face.
While he is alone in his office working? Even better, he loves the company, loves it more when you fall asleep because he fucked you so much.
Mafia!Nanami hates leaving you alone, he hates being separated from you. So often times you are with him but if it's too dangerous he keeps you home. He needs to make sure you are alway's safe, he's very protective of you.
Mafia!Nanami that teaches you self defense and how to use weapons. Will buy you some guard dogs to go the extra mile just to keep you safe.

Needs must
Pairing: Simon 'Ghost' Riley x F!Reader
WC: 2.1K
TW: prostitution, explicit fingering, and smut-ish.
ive got 4 other ideas for this goddamn escort au and one of em is MY BOY JOHNNY. oof i cant wait. im mad it took me this long to do this. I wrote this listening to rich sex by nicki minaj.
Tumblr media
You had needs. No matter how magical, a toy can only do so much for you. You wanted the praise of another human being—the warm touch of their hands around your waist, your neck. God, you needed to get laid. But after the disaster that was your last relationship, how nasty it ended, you couldn’t even ring your ex-girlfriend up for a booty call.
Sucking your teeth, you look at your phone. Noon. Well, maybe one of your friends you’re about to meet up with for a weekly Saturday brunch knew someone who would be interested in a no-strings-attached situationship.
Flipping the card in your hands,  you chewed on your bottom lip in deliberation and looked down at the business card— the color of bone with raised black lettering. Ghost, it read, with his number on the back. How you ended up with this in your hand made you almost regret having reprobates for friends. An escort. That’s what they had shamelessly suggested. You had almost choked on your eggs benedict when one of them pulled out a contact card from their wallet and placed it by your mimosa. I mean, really. Preparing to argue about their lack of sense, they brought up a great point. It was either this, someone who was there for what you needed whenever you needed it, or your toys which were in a pathetic state from constant use. Your ex called it quits because you simply couldn't find the time to maintain a proper relationship— your demanding job took up most of it. You couldn’t believe you were about to do this.
Ghost. What a name. But you suppose it didn’t matter what his name was, only that he could do his job, and with the way your friend gushed over him— he’d leave you walking side to side. You needed this. You worked too hard for too many hours to not spend your money on some self-care.
Fuck it. Maybe he will be just a one-time thing, you thought, and sent his number a text.
Closing the door of your car, you briskly walk towards the small cafe Ghost had sent the address to; A cute little quaint coffee shop. Coming to a stop, you straighten your office skirt and run a hand through your hair before opening the door. Breathing in the coffee aroma, you look around for who you’re looking for, spotting him sitting in the back. The click of your heels echoes inside the cafe, catching the attention of your awaiting companion. He looks up and rises to stand, and it takes you aback. It was like witnessing a grizzly standing on its hind legs. Jesus.
He was tall, so tall, and broad. Wearing a black beanie and covering the lower half of his face with a mask, he extends his arm out to shake your hand, and you internally scream at how shapely his arm alone looks over his long-sleeved shirt.
“I’m Ghost. It’s a pleasure, love.”
Choking back a moan at his accent, you put your hand in his and say, “No, I’m sure it’ll be all mine.” You can see his dark eyes crinkle at your quip.
“If we get through this smoothly, the next time we meet I’ll make sure of it.”
As you let out a playful laugh, Ghost reaches for the back of your chair, pulling it out with a chivalrous gesture. “And a gentleman? You definitely know how to sell yourself.”
“No, love. This is just a common courtesy. I don’t need t’tell you that I’m good,” and in one smooth motion, he extracts a sleek, forest green matte folder from the leather business bag lying at his feet.
“I need this filled out, just the usual— hard and soft limits. Safewords, nicknames, allergies, and so on.” You pick up the folder and open it, skimming over the contents of the front page.
“This really is your job.” You flick your eyes from the folder to him and he’s already looking at you, watchful and steady.
“O’ course it is. I take my clients, and future clients, seriously. I enjoy wha’ I do but it will never be at the cost of another. I will not make you uncomfortable in any way, nor risk your health. I aim to please you, not the other way around. And I cannot do tha’ if I don’t know tha’ you’re allergic to latex or completely against something I might do.”
He gives a slight cough, and you divert your attention from the paper and meet his gaze. “What’s a pretty thing like you seeking out someone who offers these types of services?” and a lighthearted chuckle escapes you.
“The same reason the one who gave me your card did— just looking for a good time, no commitment.”
He raises his eyebrows at that but makes no further comment. Smart man. Glancing at your wrist, you check the time. “Right,” and lean forward to get up when Ghost shoots up from his chair to pull out yours. “I’ll have your folder ready for you by the weekend,” and turn your head to face him.
“Is that when you’ll want this, then?” and you give a casual shrug.
“If you happen to be available.” He reaches out and gently grabs your hand to pull you in for a tight embrace. Softly, he whispers in your ear, “I’ll be seeing you then, love.”
You leave with a silly little grin on your face.
The weekend comes and you’re a puddle of nerves. You can’t remember the last time someone made you this anxious. The knock on your door startles you out of your inner ramblings. It’s time. Taking in a deep, calming breath, you open it.
Ghost calmly walks in, and starts taking off his mask, and then leather jacket.
“I’ve one absolute limit I forgot to mention,” he says in a firm tone. “I do not kiss. It is not a negotiation.”
Well, you couldn’t give a damn if he didn’t. Nonchalantly, you shrug and say, “And mine is that we always use a condom.” With a nod and a chuckle, he eagerly grabs the folder from your table and starts flipping through its pages.
“A’right, love. Go get on the bed f’me.” The smirk he gives you is positively wicked. “I saw tha’ you have like to be told wha’ to do.” He jerks his chin towards your room. “And take everything off.” With nervous excitement, you run off, haphazardly tossing your clothes on the floor.
Eyes covered with a blindfold, all you hear is your shaky breathing and his footsteps on your plush rug. Your nerves feel exposed, raw. As you lie on the bed, you suddenly feel a firm grip on the flesh of your thighs, causing your skin to break out in goosebumps. The room's cool air contrasts with the warm heat radiating from his touch, pulling a hiss from your lips as he pulls you toward the edge of the bed.
“Atta girl, love. Open your legs f’me, lemme see that pretty pussy.” The lack of eyesight helps you to focus on his touch alone, making you fearless, and your legs drop open without hesitation as you lie on your back.
“Look at tha’. Aren’t you just a dream? Hm?” he puts his hands on your knees, keeping your thighs open, wet cunt exposed. “And you waxed, too. Hope tha’ wasn’t f’me.” You feel a fingertip slide from your hood, down to your clit and hole, spreading your juices around the labia and back up. Your nerves are on fire, your pussy clenching around nothing, forcing juices to drip down to your arsehole.
“A’right, pretty. Touch yourself. Shove your tiny little fingers into your,” he pauses to suck the skin of your inner thigh, “cunt and show me how to make you feel good.” He then moves his mouth closer to where you need it most, and bites. Are you defying me? Did you suddenly become deaf as well, once I blindfolded you?” and you aggressively shake your head.
“No! No, sir. I hear you, loud and clear.” With a tight squeeze to your thighs, he says, “Then do as I say.” Moaning, you slowly bring your hand down, starting from your chest. Your palms rub against your pebbled nipples, down to your soft stomach, until your fingertips meet your swollen nub, then move in soft, tight circles, mewling at the feeling. The groan that reaches your ears is so lewd, you could come from that alone.
“Tha’s it, baby. You’re doing so well. Look at how wet you are, fuck, show me just how you like it.” And you do. A vulgar noise comes from your hole once you stuff yourself with one finger, slowly stretching, before adding another. It’s something, but not enough, not what you want. Not thick enough, long enough, and that thought makes you whimper in disappointment.
“Aw, are your fingers not satisfying? I’ll help you, sweet, only because you look so delicious spread out f’me like this. So vulnerable, bare.” His breath fans over your cunt, over your clit, and it sends a jolt up your spine— but he doesn’t move, doesn’t touch. It feels like you’ve been waiting for hours until he finally, finally, pushes a thick finger into you, and curls it, rubbing against the right spot, over and over, and then pushes in a second, threatening to tip you over the peak. The feeling is intense —your walls clench around him firmly in your rising pleasure.
“Oh, g-god, Ghost pleasepleaseplease,” squealing as you fuck yourself on his hand, and when your hypersensitive nerves pick up on the sensation of his scorching mouth on your clit, with a pulsating suction, your muscles tighten and tremble, to the point of pain, until Ghost gives one hard suck, forcibly pushing you off the edge. The wail you let out is ear-splitting— as ecstasy slams into your body, like waves crashing at shore. Your thighs squeeze Ghost’s head irrationally tight, but he doesn’t care, just groaning into your core, lapping up your juices like a dehydrated man who’s found an oasis. Your body stings— prickles from the vicious high you’re riding—chest heaving with sobs from the sheer force of it, fingernails digging into Ghost’s scalp, yanking on his hair. As your soul melts back into your body, you absentmindedly thank all the bloody gods for having friends who really do look out for you.
Whimpering pathetically, your limbs go limp, loose, heavy. Ghost easily picks your body up and moves you toward the center of the bed, vertically, the blindfold still robbing you of your vision.
With a grunt of effort, his hand firmly settles by your ribcage, sinking into the softness of the bed, and then he slips a folded pillow beneath your hipbones, expertly arching your spine into a delicious angle. His hand firmly connects with your rear, not just once but twice, feeling the exquisite sting of it. The room falls into silence, only to be interrupted by the clinking sound of his belt buckle. Your body tenses as you hear the unmistakable sound of plastic being torn open, and then you feel his thick and warm shaft teasing your entrance. A moan escapes your lips as he penetrates you, his movements slow and sensual, until his hipbones press against your backside. Taking his time, he slowly pulls back his length, dragging it against your slick walls, before pushing forward again, covering your body with his own. His right hand is flat on the bed by your right shoulder, while his left curls around your neck, gently forcing your head to tilt back onto him. The tip of his head grinds against the entrance of your womb.
He moans softly into your ear, before quietly purring, “Let’s see how many more orgasms I can wring out of you, pet.” The tightening of his makeshift necklace around your throat is your first and last warning of what is to come.
He pulled four. Four gut-wrenching, shattering orgasms before finding his own release. He left you a drooling, sloppy, sweaty mess on your bed, completely languid and relaxed. Somewhere, you faintly hear your phone ping with a notification. Hissing as you get up, you limp to your living room, and see it on the sofa. Unlocking it, you see that it’s Ghost, sending you his Cash App information. Holding in a chickle, you send him his money and wait for his confirmation.
It was a real pleasure, doll. Let me know when you need me again.
Cackling to yourself, you place your phone back on the table.
Bastard.
He knows you’ll definitely be seeing him again.

Force of Will (NSFW) Ft: Chaeyoung *Twice
Tumblr media
Authors note: congrats to twice for another successful string of concerts I hope they can rest and pursue whatever endeavors fill their hearts.
Part I kinda
The baby tiger of twice was acting less like the timid baby of twice and more like the proud monarch of the jungle as she bounced on your cock, hours after finishing a grueling flight. After another string of insanely successful concerts. As tiring as the concerts were they always left her violently charged with sexual energy.
Something about being adored by thousands set her off. Typically it wasn't a problem because usually she had you at her disposal to keep that energy in check, but with you working on an intense case these last few days had you stuck and busy.
Chae understood of course you were both young professionals who took their craft seriously and moved with exceptional care. It is what attracted her to you at the start of your relationship.
So Chaeyoung held all of the virulent horniness inside herself until she got home and found you sleeping. She bit her lip. She should let you sleep honestly but her body raged against her as her lust overcame her. She reaches into your sweatpants past your underwear and begins to stroke your already hard cock. She smiles. Even off in another world, your body was always ready for her. A testament not only to the compassion you had for her but your sexual compatibility with each other. You begin to rouse as the dream you are in becomes too sexually charged and wakes up to Chae’s face. She smiles at you but it’s not cute it is the look of raw sexual tension and hunger.
“Morning Tiger.” You say dazed and confused. You attempt to look at the clock but Chose jerks your head so you're still facing her. Chaeyoubg then forgoes a greeting and goes straight to kissing you. Her extensions fall along the sides of your face as she continues stroking you. As usual, her lips taste like strawberries. Or at least that's what your addled brain currently is perceiving. She breaks the kiss to take off her skirt, safety shorts, and underwear.
“ I have missed you so much.” Chaeyoung cooed. Her body vibrated with sexual anxiety as she began to fully undress, “the tour was so stressful and I need relief. Can you give me relief?” as Chaeyoung spoke her eyes widened with each word hoping that her seduction would be enough to rouse you from the haze of fatigue. You stand up now shaking off the dust in your mind as Chaeyoung falls onto the bed. She smiles at you with lustful glee.
“Where do you//” you begin but in her almost feverish lust Chaeyoung cuts you off
“Stuff my pussy with cum till I can't walk anymore.” you nod. You look over to your clock to make sure that tomorrow isn't the day you're meeting with clients. After verifying you flip Chae over and plunge into her sodden pussy. Chae screams as you fill her. Her mind blanks for a moment before she can speak again. You begin to thrust. She is so much tighter than usual. Chaeyoung moans and speaks out in a lusty haze. “Oh god, I missed this dick. I want to ride it every fucking night.” Chaeyoung moaned. As she speaks you increase your pace of filling her driving her crazy. You watch as her tight little ass begins to jiggle with each thrust and an idea pops in your head. You pull Chaeyoung’s hair. She jolts up to you as her body arches into yours.
“You're such a slut, Chae. Stroking me off while I'm sleeping.” Chaeyoung's pussy tightens at your words,
“I'm a slut only for you honey.” Chaeyoung moans as you continue to thrust into her. You feel her getting closer to release and decide to help her get there. You put your hands over both her nipples then you lean to her right ear, “cum for me tiger.” you whisper seductively as you twist her nipples. Chaeyoung screams from the pleasure raking her petite body. Her orgasm is like an eruption from her as squirt and profanities ooze from her two major holes. You continue to thrust her as she cums unrelenting. You watch as she starts to black out from the pleasure until she passes out on the bed. You smile and spoon her.
“Goodnight Tiger,” you say as you fall asleep again.
Chaeyoung wakes earlier than you do, however, and she “takes advantage” When she wakes up she feels your still hard cock poking her. She remembered that you were supposed to fill her. So hopping on while you sleep should be fine. Right. Chaeyoung flips you on your back before mounting you. Her movements force you awake as she reassures you.
“It's okay honey. Your tiger just needs her milk,” she says eyes full of unfettered passion. As she rides you her walls clamp down in ways you are not used to. “Just let go, baby. Cum for me.” Chaeyoubg hums repeatedly as she transitions from riding to bouncing on your cock. Chae begins to lose herself to the pleasure again and forgets about you filling her and decides to use you some more for her pleasure
“Play with my nipples again baby.” Your tiger demands so you comply, with a languid pace, you run your hands from her waist to her breasts. As you do so she moans intensely “Oh god baby yes.” she says as her pussy clamps down on you further you cry out as you fondle her sensitive nipples as she cums again. You let her flow through her orgasm as she continues to bounce on top of you riding out the rest of her high. As she falls onto your chest she whispers those magic words
“Use me, baby,” she says. All of your service pays off as you begin thrusting again her pussy is an overstimulated mess as you thrust in and out. Your tiger's tired whimpers spur you on as you chase your finish.
“Yeah fuck me harder. Just like that.” chaeyoung smiled her voice so blissed out and pushed you over the edge as you unleashed into her. Unsatisfied you keep pounding into her as your balls expel all the cum they had been storing. Chaeyoung groans as she hits another high. Which extends yours. When the two of you finally both calm down. Chae looks at you with happy eyes.
“I did miss you, babe.” Chaeyoung says “Not just your dick.” she said as she idly began stroking you again. Not to get you going she just liked to play with it.
“I can see,” you say content. “How was the concert?” you ask
“Oh, they went great. You were right Once love the new songs, plus We got to do Hello again and I love that song.” your tiger said happy
“It's my favorite as well,” you reply. Chae Young's face soured before asking
“I guess you have to get ready for work now?
“No. Well, not anymore. I finished the case yesterday and am taking a few days off as of now.” you answer looking at the clock. Chaeyoung grins mischievously before saying
“Oh, then we have plenty of time then.”

❛CHRISTMAS EVE❜ ( p. jay )
Tumblr media
p. husband!jay x fem!reader w. 0.8k+
— 𖦹 warnings. unprotected sex, breeding kink, mentions of baby
— 𖦹 ( your husband makes it home just in time to spend christmas eve with you ) !
8 days of christmas masterlist
MINORS DO NOT INTERACT
Tumblr media
‘9:30 p.m.' is what the clock read, and jays leg bounced up and down nervously — he was gonna miss Christmas eve, he promised you he’d be there.
He was on his way out , when his assistant stopped him reminding him that he had a late video call with investors for his company — pissed that he forgot about the meeting , even more pissed that it was Christmas eve and he knew you wanted to spend it with him.
You said it was fine, but he didn’t care, he knew you were saying that just to make him feel better — he was determined to make it to you. He took one look standing up. “sir?” His assistant sat next to him. “I can’t I have to get home.” He said. “Sir this is important, it’s a new client.”
“It’s Christmas eve, and they’re an hour late.” He said. “if they wanted it , they would’ve been punctual.” He grabbed his  coat. “What do we do?” His assistant said. “Go home to your family, Merry Christmas .” he said making his way out of his office.
He wasted no time, hopping into his car, speeding all the way home to you, it was now 10 o’clock — you probably were still getting ready for bed, he was gonna make it. Pushing the buttons to your condo door, walking it dropping his things, not even bother to stop in the kitchen — heading straight to the bedroom.
“Jay?” sat on the bed, finishing up some wrapping, your husband walking in the door. “I made it baby.” He said, you smiled. “What about your meeting.” He shook his head. “I don’t care about that.” He said undoing his tie, rolling his sleeves up. “My wife wanted me home for Christmas eve, so im here.”
You smiled , putting the newly wrapped gift on the night stand. “Come here.” You stretched your arms out. “You are perfect.” You kissed him, hugging him. “I love you so much.” He whispered, his forehead pressed against yours. “I don’t care if it’s Christmas eve or saint patrick’s day, if you want to spend it with me, then im here.”
“I love you too jay.” He kissed you again, with much more hunger. Your camisole sleeve falling down, barely covering your boobs at this point. “So beautiful baby.” He squeezed your boob. “Jay.” He smiled. “shush baby girl.” He stood up. “Gonna give you everything you want.”
He unbuttoned his dress shirt , you watched him slowly undoing his slacks , letting them fall to the ground, stepping out of them. “Gonna fuck a baby inside you tonight.” He climbed in between your legs, using his thumb, pressing down on your clothed clit. “Fu-fuck jay please.”
He pulled your panties to the side , the cool air hitting your cunt making you moan. “Look at how wet your are.” He was salivating. “You really want me to fuck a baby into you.” You nodded. “Y-yes.” You mewled. He grabbed the base of his cock, slapping his mushroom tip against your clit. “Fuck jay , please put it in.”
He slowly pushed into your hole , groaning as he bottomed out. “such a perfect pussy.” He moaned , pulling out just to push himself back in, stretching you out. “can’t wait to fill it with my cum.”
You moaned out, gripping his arm as he rocked into you. “Sh-shit jay you feel so good.” He hummed. “Fuck princess, your taking my cock so well.” He sped up. “good fucking girl.” His cock head pressing against your womb. “gonna breed you nice and well.”
You clenched around him , making him moan out. “fuck you like that?” he grunted. “Is that what you want for Christmas? Want me to fuck a baby into you?” You screamed out as he began to plow into your cunt. “Fu-fucking answer me.” You nodded , your eyes shut. “Fuck yes, please give me a baby.”
He grabbed your legs , bringing them to your chest, plowing into you harder and faster. “Jay!” he moaned , cursing and whispering filthy shit into your ear. “fuck my pretty wife, cum for me.” He said. “Cum all over my cock, make a mess.”
Your eyes rolled to the back of your head ,you let out a pornographic moan as you cum, your cunt fluttering around him as you came down from your high. “Good girl.” He said. “Fuck im cumming.” He grunted , thrusting once, twice — shooting his load into your waiting womb. “Fake take my load baby.”
He stayed inside you , positioning you into a much comfortable position — pulling you deep into his arms , kissing your forehead. “Thank you.” You said. “For making it home I really wanted you here.” You confessed. “I told you baby I’ll always be here for you, no  matter how many meetings I have to cancel.” He looked at the time, it read ‘12:00’
“It’s Christmas.” He kissed your forehead. “Merry Christmas my beautiful wife.”
“Merry Christmas my handsome husband.”

“You get on that plane and I’ll drop you as a client.” Jake’s voice rings out from your work phone.
“What the fuck, Jake, are you serious?!” You seethe, practically red in the face.
You have been on the phone with Jake for the last hour – Liv refuses to pick up your calls after you blew up the group chat, rehashing your argument with Jenna. Desperately pleading to fly back home because you couldn’t stand being in the same city as the actress, at the moment.
You couldn't even think about her words without it making your blood boil.
“Fuck yeah, I’m serious. Do you know what time it is here?”
Glancing at the clock it read 3:46 A.M. EST, you roll your eyes. “It’s just past midnight in L.A. You won’t die if you don’t get eight hours of sleep.”
“Be quiet. I don’t wanna hear another word from you.” He nearly shouts and you imagine that one vein popping through his forehead. You liked to stare at it when Jake goes off on his shouting tangents at you.
He never notices that you're not paying attention.
“Maybe we should get Liv on the phone or maybe Sarah?” Link glances at you worriedly.
He hates seeing you so riled up, so he often played the middle-man with your quarrels against Jake and Liv.
“Liv says she doesn’t wanna hear it. Sarah says forget it and I’m saying, I’m not fucking around this time Y/N, this is your last chance. I’m over your shit.” He hangs up the phone, leaving the line dead.
You jump face-first into the stiff bed, groaning loudly.
“Looks like you’re outta luck.” He pats you back, leaving you to sulk alone as he shuts the door. “Try to get some sleep.”
There was no way you ended up in this situation.
You guess, it was fair to acknowledge your recent streak of bad behaviour. First, it was tame — ignoring your phone, running away to party, getting mixed in the wrong crowds – eventually, Link had to start dragging you out of bed by the legs (sometimes kicking and screaming) just to make it in time for a gig.
You’re not sure when all of this started. All you knew is that you were so tired. You just wanted one second to breathe; to feel like that young child again, with hopes and dreams. But no, someone was always hovering over your shoulder ready to drag you away to another event you could care less about.
You close your eyes, allowing the jetlag and exhaustion to set in as your body moulds into the mattress.
–
The next day, you find yourself standing in front of Jenna’s hotel room. The large double door looks menacing and faintly, you can already hear a bustle on the other side. You really didn’t want to knock but you know what was on the line so you swallow your pride and raise a fist to knock.
But before you can knock, the door is opening revealing a girl, with dirty blonde hair bearing a semblance to a certain actress. “Oh, hi!”
“Hello.” You greet warmly.
“I’m Aliyah. Jenna’s younger sister.” She holds her free hand out.
You shake her hand, “Nice to meet you, I’m–”
“I know who you are.” She smiled then laughed, “Everyone knows who you are.”
You chuckled, shyly nodding. “I guess.”
“Are you two done?” Jenna suddenly appears, yanking the door wider so you can see her. Her makeup complements her well; the green bustier two-piece looked expertly crafted just for her; and the way her hair fell in soft waves framed her face nicely.
“Hi…” You say a little vacant-sounding.
You don’t say anything else.
From the corner of your eye, you see her sister’s raised brow but you think you’re imagining it because you can’t keep your gaze off of Jenna. The actress raises her brow at you, impatient.
“What did you need?” She asks.
“Uh—I wanted to talk, about last night."
Jenna watches you momentarily before rolling her eyes; pulling you inside with a rough yank. “Get inside before someone sees you — Aliyah close the door.”
You stumble, still a little dazed but the smaller girl’s nails are gripping your arm painfully making you snap out of it.
“Ow, ow, ow.” You whisper, not inattentive to the multiple people scattered around the large room.
“Guys, this is Y/N.” She ignored your complaints and pulled you past the foyer into the living room – her entire team had taken refuge in the room to get the star ready for a day of press interviews.
Various echoes of your name and greetings are sent back to you but you certainly don’t miss the awkward tension in the room started by your sudden presence.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to interrupt, I can just go.” You point behind you.
“Nonsense.” An older woman that looked kinda like the actress waves off. “It’s great to have you here, Miss L/N. Jenna was just talking about you.”
“Oh please, just Y/N is fine.” Shaking your head bashfully, briefly wondering what she could be telling her family and team about what kind of person you are.
“I’m Jenna’s mom. That’s her dad, her other sister Mia, and her brother Markus.” She points and you try to keep up with the names of the people she’s throwing at you; Jenna’s family and team included.
“It’s so great to meet you all. It’s not hard to see that Jenna is so loved.” You say sincerely.
“We try our best.” Her dad says looking appreciative of your words. You smile at everyone and it seems to ease a bit of the tension in the room.
You didn’t see Jenna rolling her eyes again (her favourite to do around you) disregarding the encounter; she hides the surprise she feels from your genuine compliment.
Last night's argument with you, still burning in her brain.
“What did you want to say?" She says a little bluntly.
Watching as everyone turns to go back to what they were doing, you look down at Jenna. “Um… I wanted to apologize for last night. And call a truce, maybe over dinner?
She looks surprised not expecting you to be the first one to give in. “Oh…”
“Yeah…”
“I appreciate it.” Jenna cuts in, “I’m sorry too… a truce sounds good. Sarah got mad at me too, for what it's worth. She even said I was whining.”
Jenna jokes, dropping her walls a bit.
You rub a hand on the back of your neck, chuckling, “Good to know.”
“I can’t do dinner though.” She shuts her eyes as if remembering something.
“Oh, that’s okay. Maybe another time.”
“Or maybe… you can be my date to the Scream cast dinner?” She offers, looking a little hopeful.
“Are you sure?” You chew your lip. Ignoring the word date.
“Yeah! Totally, you can meet everyone, it’ll be great. Not to throw anyone under the bus but they’ve been trying to meet you.” She says sheepishly.
You laugh, dropping your walls just a tad. “Sure I’ll be there.”
She smiles warmly, satisfied with your answer. “Yeah, it’ll be great. I guarantee there’ll be paparazzi, so it’ll be good for publicity. They’ve been hounding me since I landed, my dad nearly pushed a guy in the airport. I couldn’t even walk to the door by myself at the SNL dinner cast party.”
You lose a bit of the smile but Jenna doesn’t see, laughing at her memory of the paparazzi. You blink around, making sure no one saw you, it might give them the wrong idea. “Uh, yeah sure. I’m good with whatever.”
“Okay, cool.” She shoots a thumb up, walking away from you. “I’ll see you tonight?”
“Mhmm.” You smile, waving goodbye to everyone and booting it out the door.
Unsure where the tension in your chest is coming from you swiftly walk to the elevator; aggressively tapping the button as if the elevator would come faster that way. And practically throwing yourself in the metal box as soon as it opens.
You miss the entire pandemonium that implodes in the room when you leave.
“Holy shit?” Mia exclaims.
“Language.” Her mom chastises.
“No, holy shit, indeed. Jenna oh my god what did you do to that poor girl?” Aliyah walks past Jenna to grab a bottle of water from the fridge.
“What are you talking about?” She looks at her sisters confused.
Mia’s rolling her eyes, standing up from the couch. “Did you not see the way she was looking at you?”
“No? How was she looking at me?” She turns to her mom who had a hint of a smile on her lips as if she knew something. Jenna was starting to feel left out.
“She likes you, Jen.” Her brother speaks up, not even bothering to look up from his phone.
“What? You guys are crazy. We barely know each other.” Jenna starts shaking her head furiously, turning to Enrique, her stylist and close friend. “Enrique, tell them they’re being crazy.”
But he shrugs, sharing that same Cheshire grin her mom had. “God, not you too.” She clamps her eyes shut with her hands.
“Hey! Watch the eyes!” Her makeup artist warns.
“Dad?” She drops her hands, pleading at the silent man, who, she knows is listening. Why do Dads do that thing where they let everyone argue, only stepping in when the Mom asks for backup.
He remains in character – staying silent.
“You guys don’t know what you’re talking about. She was literally here for five seconds. How could you possibly think she likes me from that.” Jenna turns to everyone else.
“I don’t know, Jen. The eyes never lie.” Mia says, privy to the way your smile fell when Jenna mentioned being spotted for publicity tonight.
“I’m– I’m late for interviews, I need to go,” Jenna mutters, grabbing her purse and walking to the door.
“This is gonna blow up.” Your producer says from beside you.
“I don’t know. I still think it’s missing something.” You sigh, sliding the headphones off as you slump onto the plush leather seats.
You sneaked off to the studio not too far from the hotel in lower Manhattan. See you would have told Link or anyone really, but you were trying to be discreet. And Link is one ‘ol snitch and the personal fun police.
It seems after your fight with Jenna, Jake and Liv put you under strict instructions not to leave the hotel unless accompanied by someone from your team.
You’re not a fucking child. You don’t need a babysitter. So here you are, with your producer in the studio trying to record this damn song you’ve been stuck on for three months.
“Maybe it’s time to scrap the song then.” He offers. “It’s never gonna be done before Coachella.”
Immediately you are shaking your head. No, this song is special, you can feel it. If only you can get your head out of your own ass long enough to find the damn words.
“No, just– just put it on hold. Let’s work on something else.”
He sighs, clicking the screen to pull up another file. “Your call.”
The buzzing of your phone against the wooden table echoes into the silence that grew as you waited. “Ah fuck.”
Reaching over, you grab the phone and are bombarded by a flurry of texts and missed calls.
Some from Jenna, some from your bodyguard and driver, most from Link.
Jenna’s is the first one you click.
The phone rings three times before it gets picked up. Muffled, loud voices are all you hear at first before she eventually speaks up, “Hello?”
“Hey, I am so–”
“Where the hell are you? You’re ten minutes late. We’re all waiting for you.” Her tone is sharp and snipped.
You had fucked up.
“Fuck… I’m sorry, I’ll be right there– there was…. uh.” You stand, gathering your jacket and silently bidding your producer goodbye as he looks on confused. “There was a lot of traffic. I am so sorry, I’m trying to make it as fast as I can.”
She sighs through the phone, “It’s…fine. Just get here as soon as you can, please.”
A little white lie never killed anybody.
You make it to the restaurant in record time. Pushing through the paparazzi camping outside the restaurant doors. Do they have no shame? Clearly not as they shout Jenna’s name at you; asking if you were there to see her, trying to get their piece of the scoop. Thankfully, the security guard had seen you and personally ushered you to the cast‘s table. Someone must have informed them that you were coming.
You’re still blinking away the spots in your vision from the camera flashes when you feel an arm pulling you down to sit.
“What took you so long?”Jenna asked assertively, scanning you.
“I told you. Traffic.” You plaster a smile at all the eyes on you, subtly shrugging Jenna’s arm off yours with a little bit of attitude.
You don’t miss her clenched jaw. Plastering a smile in front of her costars who were trying their best not to gawk at you. "Well, where were you then? No one could get a hold of you, we were worried."
You tried your hardest to school your genuine surprise at her worry. "Sorry. I was working. My phone was off."
“Hi! I’m Melissa, it’s so nice to meet you, I’m a big fan.” A brunette extends her hand from across the long table – interrupting Jenna before she can say anything else.
You make the usual greetings, introducing yourself to Jenna’s costars and colleagues. You felt a bit like a trophy wife if you were being honest. Like eye candy on her arm, serving only to make her look good. Upon that realization, you feel a little flushed. You’re not sure why, that is the whole point of this whole thing.
Her castmates have been sending you two knowing eyes over dinner — giving Jenna inconspicuous smirks and smug grins as if you couldn’t see. You keep your head down after the pleasantries are over and the main courses are brought out.
Grateful, you don’t have to talk about your upcoming projects any longer.
“What’s wrong?” You nudge her elbow, noticing how she was pushing away some pieces of food on her plate.
“I don’t like apples.” She mutters.
You can’t fight the smile that creeps on your lips but you don’t tease. “Just push them off to the side and I’ll eat it.”
She looks at you. “You sure?”
“Yeah, it’s no big deal.” You shrug taking a sip of your wine.
“That doesn’t gross you out or anything? I know some people are weird about that sort of thing.” Jenna explains.
“Dude, I’ll eat your apples, chill.” You laugh.
“Okay, thanks…” She mumbles, still looking at you but you turn, talking to Mason and his girlfriend.
Jenna feels a nudge on her side. “What?”
“You two are cute.” Jasmin smirks. “And Y/N L/N? Not a bad catch at all.”
“Stop.” Jenna blushes. Unsure if she feels uncomfortable that some of her close and respected friends believe this lie so easily.
“Hey, give them some space!” The security guard shouts as the paparazzi come rushing toward the door as soon as the cast steps out.
You were standing in the lobby waiting for Jenna. “Shit…” You hear her mutter, watching as she searches for something in her bag.
“What’s up?” You ask.
“I forgot my sunglasses in my room. The flashes hurt my eyes.” She frowns. Wordlessly, you fish the pair you stashed in your jacket.
“Here, wear mine.” You hold the glasses out, watching as she just stares at it. Rolling your eyes, you push it toward her. “Dude, just take it.”
“Thanks…” She mumbles, sliding them up her hair.
You walk ahead of her, holding the door open as everyone trickles out. You’re regretting giving Jenna your only sunglasses cause the flashes are bright and it’s making your eyes water.
“Go ahead,” You usher, only leaving once everyone’s gone ahead of you. You trail behind ignoring the various men with large cameras chasing you as you walk down the sidewalk.
“Y/N over here, please! Just one photo.”
“Y/N, just one photo of you and Jenna, please!”
“What do you have to say about Vegas?”
You ignore them keeping your head down trying not to fall behind.
“Where’s Y/N?” You hear over the sea of nameless faces.
“Right here.” You say, sliding in beside her.
You miss the subtle sigh of relief she lets out.
“You can’t just walk behind everyone like that.” She grits, frustratedly.
"I tried to keep up." You mumbled like a scolded husband.
The shouting increases when you stand beside one another; practically rendering you blind with all the flashes. “Dammit.”
You place an hand on her back, pushing her forward. “Put on the sunglasses and walk.”
“Y/N, please over here. Jenna!” The shouting is constant and blurs altogether all at the same time.
“Ow.” You feel Jenna tumble when someone bumps her side causing her to bump harshly against you. Firmly, you grab her arm to preventing her from falling and pushed back against the crowd to check on her.
“Are you okay?” you ask worriedly as she fixes the lopsided glasses. “Yeah, yeah. I’m fine.”
“Hey. Watch it–” You grit at the closest person holding a camera. “It wasn’t me.”
The man insists, still shamelessly snapping flashes directly into your face and you begin to grow angry, slapping the camera out of his hands. “I said fucking watch it, asshole.”
You glare for a brief moment as the shouting gets impossibly louder. Knowing if you didn’t pull Jenna out of this, chaos would ensue. You link hands and drag her through the crowd, briskly walking to her castmates who shared looks of concern.
“Are you okay?” You ask, still walking but now barricaded by security and her friends.
“Yeah, I’m fine, I promise.” She squeezes your hand but then sighs, “You shouldn’t have done that.”
You scoff, “Are you serious? That guy pushed you.”
“It was an accident and you kinda overreacted.” She whispers lowly.
You clench your jaw, dropping her hand — Not wanting to blow up in front of her colleagues, you walk swiftly ahead.
You don’t talk even when you are both side-by-side being driven back to the hotel. Her driver has the partition up halfway but you see the nosy glances he keeps making at the rearview mirror as you and Jenna sit in silence; acutely aware to the growing tension between you and the actress.
You refuse to speak, just looking out the window as other cars pass by on the street.
“Are you done ignoring me now?” She speaks up but you still don’t want to talk. “Seriously?”
“Y/N all he did was push me. A little shove, that’s all. I’m okay. What’s not okay is the phone call you know we’re going to get from Liv and Sarah about that guy’s camera.”
“He deserved it.” You mumble through the palm holding your head up.
“I’m not saying he didn’t but you can’t just be aggressive to paparazzi like that. It’s exactly what they want.” She reasons, turning to you. Hoping you’ll finally look at her.
“I know…”
“Look at me, please?” She places a hand on your arm.
You turn, keeping your face impassive.
She sends you a shy smile then laughed. “I mean it though, thank you for having my back. My Dad is gonna think this whole thing is hilarious.”
“Why?” You can’t help but join in.
“He’s a cop, so he’s a little protective. He’s been waiting to shove away a pap for the longest time. He’s gonna be so mad you beat him to it.”
You laugh imagining her father’s reaction.
“You haven’t seen Scream? Not even the original?” Jenna turns bewildered like it was the most blasphemous thing she’s ever heard. You were in her hotel suite, watching movies. For some reason, Jenna invited you over to her room after being dropped off at the hotel. “How? You’re an actress.”
You couldn’t think of a good reason to say no so you accepted.
“Yeah, sorry. Jeez. Way to sound like a film snob. I didn’t know there was a checklist of movies to watch before becoming an actor.” You snort reaching for more popcorn from the bowl beside you.
“Shut up.” She hits you with the remote. “How have you not seen any of the Scream movies? You’re literally going to my premiere tomorrow.”
You hold up your hands in surrender, throwing a couple of kernels in your mouth. “Sorry, they’re not really my cup of tea.”
She rolls her eyes, snatching some popcorn from your hand, ignoring your protests. “Oh sorry, I forgot we have an action star in our midst.”
It was your turn to hit her arm, “Shut it. I just mean… I haven’t found the time to sit and watch them. They’re not exactly short films.”
“You’re in the MCU and Dune. Don’t talk to me about long movies.”
“Touché…” You can’t beat her there. They are ridiculously long movies. Probably why you’ve only ever seen them during premiere night and never again. “Well, put one on then. Let’s see what all the hype is about.”
She grins scrambling for the remote. “You’re on.”
You wait for her to pull up the Scream catalogue, chuckling at her visible excitement.
“Hey, why did you become an actress? and singer while we’re at it, Miss Grammy winner.” She nudges your shoulder.
You snort, shoving her lazily. “Shut up… Do you want the press interview answer or the real one?”
She raises a brow, immediately deciding. “The real one.”
You nod, feeling like she would say that.
“My mom... She was a rising star in the 80s but something happened and she never got to live out her dreams. When she had me she put me through all of the arts. I bumped and failed with most of them but acting and singing kinda stuck… I guess she saw those were the only two things I could stand so she pushed and pushed, it led to Jake discovering me and here we are.”
Jenna stays silent processing your story, she doesn’t miss the slight solemness your tone had taken. "Why do I feel like there's more to it than that?"
You chuckle, licking your lips. "Caught me... it's why I don't talk to my parents anymore."
"Oh..."
"Yeah. As soon as I turned eighteen I cut ties with them. She got too controlling, wanting money, wanting autonomy over my career so I took Link with me and moved to L.A. and did it on my own. I think... at some point acting became a spite thing with me because of her.
“Spite?” Jenna asks?
“Yeah… it was all I’ve ever known for a long time until I started making music. Probably the only time I’ve ever felt sure about a decision.”
"Oh..." Jenna finds herself saying again.
"Uh–sorry. I didn't mean to make it weird. We can just forget about it." You curl into yourself, tugging the blanket to your lap.
Jenna blinks, feeling dumb that she's made you think her silence is a bad thing.
"No..." She grabs your wrist. "Thank you for sharing with me."
You look into her eyes, feeling a bit small at her kind eyes. You know it's not out of pity but you couldn't help but want to close up again.
Pulling your hand away from her grip, you cough. "Of course, we're friends now."
"Oh, are we?" Jenna ignores the drop in her chest when you pulled away like that. “Okay, what’s the press answer then?”
“That I watched the movie Cabaret when I was younger and wanted to be like Liza Minelli.” You admit.
Jenna scoffs, “That’s literally my answer.”
“Is it?”
“Yeah except, it’s Dakota Fanning in Man on Fire.”
You chuckle, “doesn’t Denzel die in that one?”
“Yeah and what about it?” She raised a brow.
"But see, don’t fight it we’re meant to be friends... we even share the same answer."
"Shut up, dummy. Every actor has some sort of answer like that.”
Eventually, the two of you start a marathon of the Scream franchise. Which in hindsight, is kind of a bad idea seeing as it was way past midnight and the other actress still has a long week ahead of her. It seems like the events of the day catch up to her cause you feel a head slipping on your shoulder; distracting your focus halfway through Scream 3.
Jenna had fallen asleep with her head on your shoulder. You fight the urge to tense up not wanting to wake her up. She looked like she needed the rest and you relate more than anyone to her exhaustion.
“Jenna…” You lightly tap, “You fell asleep, you need to go to bed.”
She grumbles, whining in her slumber. You feels your cheeks warm when she unconsciously moves to snuggle closer to you, throwing an arm over your waist.
Fuck.
Really?
God, I am not your strongest soldier.
“Jen, seriously. Wake up.” You shake her arm.
“What?” She complains, her words muffled by your collarbone.
“You need to go to bed.”
The feeling of her soft lashes brushing against the material of your shirt as she blinks sends a shiver down your spine. “Oh…”
Jenna mumbles mortified. Quickly pushing herself off of you, unable to look you in the eyes. “Sorry.”
You don't mention how she might have punched your stomach and that you were desperately trying not to cough.
“S’okay…” You shake your head softly. You couldn't help but notice the way her hair fell over her eyes messily.
“I’ll see you tomorrow?” She asks once she regains her senses, waking up from her short slumber.
Something tells Jenna she won’t be sleeping with how fast her heart is pounding; uncertain as to where her sudden anxiety is coming from.
“Yeah… I’ll be waiting for you inside.” You stand gathering your belongings.
“Wait, you’re not walking the carpet with me?” Jenna pulled a face.
You raise a brow, “No? At least, I wasn't told I had to. They just said I had to show up.”
“Oh… okay.” She nods then sighed, long and profound.
You continue to raise a brow but don’t say anything. Not wanting to push her. You remember the last time you guys fought and are immediately turned off. No thanks, not trying to open that can of worms.
“Okay. Goodnight then.”
“Goodnight, Y/N.” She leans against the door.
Her premiere is a success. After borderline shoving you inside a tinted Cadillac, Link brushes your vintage Prada gown down; making sure you are in tip-top movie-star shape. You don’t walk the carpet, instead heading straight inside – making headlines.
Your every damn move is a headline these days.
Silently thanking whatever God was out there that you didn’t because the way your jaw dropped when you see Jenna was downright embarrassing. Your reaction would surely have been a running piece if cameras were around.
Your managers would love it though.
Link had to forcefully elbow your side as Jenna walks up to greet you.
“Wow…” You manage to say. “You look stunning Jenna.”
Jenna was glad for the dim lights in the theatre, “Thanks.” She blushes, casting her eyes down.
“You look great too.” She scans you up and down, suddenly feeling warm under her gape.
Maybe it was the way her makeup is done or the deconstructed tuxedo for a dress that she had on tonight but she looked more mature, intimidating? Like she could throw you around a little and you’d just gladly ask her to do it again.
Wait, what?
“Thanks… Link and I should head to our seats but I just wanted to congratulate you. This is seriously amazing.” You express sincerely.
Jenna flushes more, waving you off with a huff and a lazy hand. “Please.”
“Seriously!”
Link coughs loudly, interrupting the bubble you and Jenna found yourselves in. “Okay, someone’s a little impatient. We better go.”
A hand reaches out, grabbing you. “Do you wanna, maybe, I don’t know. Sit beside me?”
You turn, surprised. “Oh? What about Enrique?” You glance at her stylist standing just behind her pretending like he wasn’t listening; fiddling on his phone.
“I’m sure he won’t mind switching to sit with Link, right Enrique?” She turns, asking her friend.
He grins widely, “Nope. All good with me!”
“Perfect!” She smiles at you, still grabbing your arm.
“We’ll be down there!” Jenna calls out to Link and Enrique linking your fingers out of nowhere as you walk to beside her costars.
You still don’t say anything when Jenna wraps herself around you when you make it to your seats, waving as people cheer with a large smile before pulling you to sit down.
Only then did she pull herself away, “sorry about that.”
“All good.” You mumble after realizing what happened; turning to face the large screen.
Perfect photo op.
“Hey is that sharpie on your dress?”
“Yes.” She sighs.
The rest of the night goes off without a hitch but you can’t stop the growing unpleasantness in your chest. You decide to brush it off and save face for Jenna’s night. Your sulking and feelings can wait in the privacy of your own four walls and definitely not at a high-profile movie premiere.
By the time you found yourself at the NBC building in a random dressing room at the SNL studio, waiting for Jenna’s monologue you forget all about it. You lay lazily on a stiff and most likely old couch, scrolling through your phone.
A knock on the door has you pulling off your headphones. “Come in.”
“Hey Y/N.” A head peaks in making you sit up briskly. “Aliyah, hey. Is everything okay?”
“Yeah, yeah. Just uh– Jenna’s asking for you.” She sends a sheepish smile, the corners of her eyes crinkling.
“Oh,” Your head perks up. “Is she okay?” You question, following the smaller girl past hallways that all looked the same; trying not to bump into the various stagehands buzzing around.
“Yeah, yeah, she’s kinda freaking out, though and… we can’t get her to calm down.” You both stop at a closed door.
“Oh… why me?” You couldn’t help but ask.
“Uh… okay she didn’t exactly say you but I saw your episode and you were hilarious and who better to talk her down than someone who’s done it before.” She flashes a large grin before opening the door and shoving you inside.
The room is empty save for Jenna dressed in a short-legged suit. You force yourself to blink, reminding yourself that you are on a time crunch.
“Jenna.”
She snaps her head at your voice, and a noticeable tremble in her fingers is the first thing you see. “What–what are you doing here? I thought you’d be in your seat by now.”
“Your sister asked me to come.” You admit, walking forward.
“I’m fine. Go to your seat, I’ll see you after the show.” She turns her back to you, looking over sheets of paper with multi-coloured inked notes scribbled on every open space.
“Take a deep breath for me, Jenna.” You walk closer, slowly bringing the hand tightly clutching her notes down. The bones in her fingers relax as she drops the paper. She doesn’t say anything when you don’t disconnect your hands.
You find yourself standing much closer to her.
“Take a deep breath.” You repeat.
Jenna closes her eyes, inhaling a long, deep and audible breath in then out. She clutches your fingers as she does so, unconsciously leaning back against you to ground her bubbling anxiety.
She stays in your hold with her back against your chest: a death grip on your fingers. Your swipe a thumb over the skin of her hand. “It’ll be okay…”
“Thanks…” Jenna looks into your eyes, taking one last deep breath.
Briefly, you hold her gaze feeling tepid under the intense look in her eyes. You can’t tell what they're saying but for some reason, the way her dark pupils seemed softer under the fluorescent lights had you under a spell.
And for a fleeting second, you thought she was leaning in closer to you — eyes flickering to your lips.
“Don’t mention it.” You drop her hand immediately, taking wide steps back.
Not liking the way her eyes flickered down.
You don’t like what that could possibly mean.
Jenna’s turning rapidly, pretending not to notice as you take sizable steps away from her. “What did my sister say?”
You laugh, shoving your hands in your jacket. “That she liked my SNL episode and thought someone who’s done it before can talk you down.”
“Talk me down?” She scrunches her nose.
“Don’t shoot the messenger.” You shrug.
“Your episode was okay.” Jenna turns away to face a mirror, brushing away her bangs.
You take the bait, glad she wasn’t trembling anymore. “Okay? I got the whole cast to break, it’s considered a classic. It was nominated for an Emmy that year.”
“It didn’t win though.”
You scoff playfully, “I’m leaving. You clearly don’t need my help anymore.”
She laughs obnoxiously as you stomp out of her dressing room. “Wait.”
You stop just before you open the door. “Yeah?”
“Thank you… for talking me down.” She tucks a hair backs, a little shy.
The small smile creeping on your face is hard to subdue. “Don’t mention it. Now, go. You’re gonna kill it.” You wink, exiting the dressing room.
“She’s all good.” You tell her team.
“That’s it? She hasn’t calmed down all day, it takes you – what, five minutes?” Enrique crosses his arms. Jenna’s mom smirks, patting his back then walked past him and into the room as the rest of her family slowly trickled in; her sisters staring at you intensely.
“Uh sorry?” You blush furiously, walking off in the other direction to find your seat.
Jenna kills it, but that was never a surprise. You can tell she’s nervous throughout her monologue but after Fred Armisen does his bit – from beside you, which had been a pleasant surprise. She begins to grow confident, feeling pleased with your embarrassment when the camera pans to you and Fred.
You’d get her back for that. Making a mental note to cook up a special revenge plan, just for her.
Eventually, she falls into the role naturally. Nailing her punchlines perfectly, working the crowd like an expert, and exquisitely performing her skits. It’s a shock to you when you overhear someone behind you say she’s never done live stage work before.
She's so natural at it.
It's a privilege to watch her perform.
You nearly die when she changes into a red suit as she introduces the musical guest of the night.
Actually, you begin to slide off your seat when she comes out in a pinstripe suit — a reference to the Addams family you overheard in passing.
When credits roll and the ‘LIVE’ sign turns off. You remain in your seat. Unsure if you are just admiring her or if it’s ‘cause your legs no longer functioned. You can’t fight that admiration as it grows when you see how supportive her family is as they cheer her on and celebrate this win as one unit.
You smile, wishing you can relate. At least some people had that in their lives.
A part of you thinks it makes the whole world’s difference, having a support system like that. But you would never know.
Silently, you slip out the stage doors and back to the random dressing room you’ve decided to take refuge in.
You narrowly miss Jenna trying to find you through the masses; her smile dropping a bit when she realizes you’re gone.
–
You don’t get a chance to personally congratulate Jenna because Link was bursting into the dressing room — after complaining about trying to find you for ten minutes. Rambling on how you’re needed back in Los Angeles and there was no time to say goodbye.
When you catch the other actress it’s by pure stroke of luck. You're going through checkout at the hotel, waiting for Link to do all the work as you wait behind him.
You feel slightly guilty that you're just leaving without warning.
You should send Jenna a text, right? But would she even care if you left so suddenly? She did want you out of the city just a few days ago.
But then, you two literally just, might’ve, maybe, almost kissed/shared a moment in her dressing room, so who knows what you should do at this point.
You feel a migraine forming at the base of your skull, the longer you thought about the other actress.
“Y/N?” A voice breaks your self-deprecating thoughts. You turn to see Jenna with her team and family trailing beside her.
Jenna’s smile falls when she sees your bags. Her family walks ahead but you certainly don’t miss their curious eyes as she stops in front of you.
“Where are you going?” Her eyes keep flickering between you and your bags.
Link avoids her sharp, accusing eyes.
“Back to L.A. sorry I was just about to send you a text, actually.” You confessed, a little ashamed.
It felt like you got caught doing something you shouldn’t be doing… like when you lie to your long-time partner about the real reason why you want some time apart.
“A text?” She raises an unamused brow not liking your answer.
“Yeah, Jake wants me back in L.A. Uh– sorry, was I supposed to tell you?” You ask, a bit confused.
“Tell me?” She scoffs, face dropping. “Yeah, you’re supposed to tell me. I was going to invite you to dinner to celebrate with my family and the SNL cast tonight. But you weren’t even in the audience anymore by the time I finished.”
“Sorry… I thought you’d want to celebrate with your family.” You shrug lamely, torn between feeling guilty and confused at her reaction to the news of your sudden departure.
She made it feel like you were trying to escape.
“Well, I thought–”
She cuts herself off with a huff then looked back as her family waits for her by the elevator.
“Thought what?”
As if remembering she was still out in a very public setting, after hosting one of the most recognizable programs in America; Jenna blinks out of it. Shoving her feelings down.
“Nothing. Have a safe flight back to L.A. I’ll see you in a few days… or weeks” She mumbles with an edginess to her words, walking away before you can say anything else.
“Tough break, buddy.” Link pats a comforting hand on your shoulder as you were rendered speechless. Unsure if you should chase her down and apologize.
Damn can she walk fast in those heels.
But, why would you be apologizing for having to do your job?
But the way her brow creased like she was actually upset caused an unpleasant drop in your chest. Not enjoying how she was upset and that it seemed like it was all your fault. You? Nah. Maybe she’s still dealing with other stuff and is just taking it out on you.
It wouldn’t be the first time.
“What. Just. Happened.” You turn, aggressively snatching your card from the hotel worker who definitely enjoyed the show.
“Are you blind?” He scoffs then walks away from you.
“What do you mean? Link… what do you mean?”

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ PART ONE | PART TWO
mwah mwah, course baby. sorry it’s late, I got a little lost on what to add :( ♡
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby will always get a tie the same color as your own outfit choice if she takes you out for a meal. She either has to match you or will make a big deal out of it, refusing to leave the house until she’s found something that exactly matches.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby is thankful when you’re there to help her when she’s getting stressed out. Her job is hard, and sometimes she puts herself down when she feels like she can’t do anything to help someone, and that’s when you step in, quick to remind her that she is doing amazing and she can do it.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby owns many cars. Cheap and expensive, she doesn’t really care much about them but she is always thankful that they have tinted windows because she’s a risky woman, and no matter where she goes or what she’s up to, she can’t help herself when she slides her hand up your thigh, gripping the flesh tightly while in the middle of a phone call, enjoying the way you squirm on the seat and suck in a breath through your teeth, clenching your legs around her hand when they make their way to where you need her.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby who has fucked you in pretty much every car she owns. She simply doesn’t care about when and where. You always look so fuckin’ pretty and she can’t keep her hands off you. You could simply be eating an ice cream and that would turn her on, and end up with the both of you in the back seat of her car with her fingers so deep in your cunt that all you can do is grip tightly onto her expensive suit jacket, and bite down on her shoulder. Even though she hates it when you try hiding your pretty sounds.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby brags about you to everyone she works with or meets at a meeting. Shit, she doesn’t even care if its a new client she’s met, she will mention how it was you who helped her pick out a certain suit or it was you who picked up this new coffee she was trying. Abby brought you up in every conversation, even during the long hours she was sat setting up and helping with a new case. You were on her mind 24/7.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby spends a lot of free time looking at engagement rings. She knows she wants to marry you and spend the rest of her life with you, but sometimes she doesn’t know which ring to buy because in her mind, you deserve every single one and more.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby loves it when you cuddle her. There is something about having her face tucked in the crook of your neck after a long day, some old clothes on her body, a movie on the TV with your fingers running through her hair that has her content, comfortable, and warm. She hated being away from you for such long hours but she cherished when she could finally be home with you.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby enjoys when you cook her meals, but also adores being able to cook them for you after you’ve had a hard day at work. The woman will literally be by the door when you stumble in, hands already working on removing your coat for you and handing you a glass of wine while she waits for the food she prepared for you, to cook in the oven.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby who yes, will daydream about starting a family with you. It’s not something she’s ready to bring up in conversation just yet though in case you weren’t ready for it, but she’s always imaging what it would be like to come home, find you and your child in the living room, watching a movie or even in the kitchen, baking cookies or whatever you wanted to make that day.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby acts like a literal child on Christmas day when you buy her any kind of new book. She’s a book worm and that’s actually how she first met you, so it makes you happy when her eyes light up and she’s taking the fragile book from your hands with the utmost care and examining the cover, the back, as well as the pages inside.
꒰ ♡ ꒱ lawyer!abby has no shame in eyeing you up whenever you’re sitting on her office, neatly resting on one of the chairs opposite her desk. She doesn’t even hide the fact she wants nothing more than to either have you perched on her desk with her face between your thighs or have you bent over the wooden surface, and working her strap in your cunt.

The Divorce: Part I
Y/N takes on her first high profile case as an assistant at a law firm. Her first client? Harry Styles.
Word Count: ~ 3k
Warnings: none… yet 😋
Tumblr media
Y/N wouldn’t say she was particularly brave. Or outspoken. She didn’t like speaking much at all really, but that didn’t mean she wasn’t good at her job. She just happened to be a bit shy. Sometimes she wondered why it was exactly that she wanted to become a lawyer, a job that required more talking than most others. But here she was, assisting at one of the largest law firms in England. Now she didn’t actually do much legal work; she tended to fetch coffee and organise documents but if she ever dared to speak up, people would quickly realise she was much more intelligent than what she was given credit for.
“Y/N! We have a possible case, a big one. I want you as my right hand woman for this ok? Let’s get you out of your shell a bit eh?” Mr Collins strode up to Y/N’s desk, startling her slightly.
Robert Collins was a joy of a boss and Y/N was grateful for every second she worked with him. He knew she was timid and he didn’t push past her limits. But he was encouraging and sometimes Y/N wished he wouldn’t be as nice to her so that she could prepare herself for the real world outside her little bubble where people were ruthless and unforgiving. Robert also had an extremely pregnant wife at home who was ready to pop at any moment which somewhat accounted for his rather happy in office personality.
“Who’s the client? Do I know them?” She asked, standing and rounding her desk to where Robert stood.
“I’d be surprised if you didn’t. It’s Harry Styles.”
Y/N’s jaw nearly dropped to the ground, but she kept quiet as Robert briefly explained the situation. It wasn’t anything they weren’t used to - high profile divorce, with two people unable to come to a decision on what to split between them.
“We’ll need to draft up a plan this afternoon, we’re meeting him tomorrow. He’s doing interviews himself which is unheard of. He’s looking for the best representation he can find which is understandable - the man has assets. Every law firm in the country wants this case. If we get it, it’ll skyrocket our reputation. Do as much research as you can, I’ll send through a file on everything I have. I need this to be airtight Y/N. He’s one of the most important clients we could ever have and he also has reputation for being a bit of an asshole so we… you need to prepare for that. Don’t screw this up.”
“Of course Mr Collins I’ll get right on it.”
Y/N worked for hours, making a solid plan and editing it until she was finally happy with it. She left the office for the night, long after everyone else, arriving home as the sun started to set. After a quick shower and muesli bar (Y/N knew it wasn’t the most filling of meals but she was tired and frankly could not be bothered) she jumped into bed.
Just as she was closing her eyes, her phone buzzed twice.
Robert Collins: Y/N, Linda is in Labour!
Robert Collins : You’re going to need to take the meeting alone tomorrow. You need to do everything you can to secure this deal. Do whatever it takes. We need this case. We need him. If there’s an emergency call me but otherwise I’ll be at the hospital. Will keep you updated.
Y/N’s heart dropped to her stomach. Take a meeting ALONE? With HARRY STYLES. Oh he had to be fucking kidding. With a groan she flopped back into bed and covered her face with a pillow. This was a nightmare.
Tumblr media
“I don’t care who it is, I want the best and I want them now. Do you understand? I’m sure I don’t need to remind you what a sensitive matter this is.”
“Yes of course Mr Styles, right away sir.”
Harry slammed the phone back into it’s receiver, before slumping back into his chair, pinching the bridge of his nose. If you had told him in his 20s that he would be CEO of the largest company in the world before he turned 30, he would have smirked, tossed back his whiskey and said that sounded about right. Harry was sure in himself and in his abilities. He was brilliant at his job, however, he had learned that being brilliant at his job didn’t come with being a pushover. As a result, he was ruthless, harsh and didn’t have a reputation for being the nicest boss. Everyone was terrified of him and he liked it that way. Harry enjoyed control. He relished it.
But, if you had told Harry in his 20s that he would be getting a divorce at 35, he would have laughed in your face, in slight disbelief before protesting that he and his wife were as happy as ever, content and in love. He would have said all of that before he walked in on her fucking her pilates instructor in their bed.
Sofia Styles had dissolved into cries and pleas as Harry calmly ordered the both of them to get out, before resorting to screaming abuse at him when it seemed her begging was falling on deaf ears. She wailed about how he didn’t make time for her, how all they did was argue and how she had needs that Harry wasn’t taking care of. Which was… true. Harry had grown tired of their rather vanilla sex life over a year ago, but Sofia had never been interested in changing up their routine.
Before he had fallen in love with Sofia, Harry was a dominant. He took pleasure in taking control, having women submit themselves to him and writhe beneath him. It was safe, it was consensual, it was fun. God he didn’t remember the last time he had had fun. That side of him had quieted when Sofia had walked into his life. But that wasn’t the point. None of it mattered now.
“Mr Styles? Is everything alright?” His assistant poked her head through the door, shutting it behind her softly as she took in his frazzled state. Harry had hired Nancy a few years ago and despite being in her early 60s, she was the most competent assistant he’d ever had. She was also there for motherly advice whenever he needed it. Nancy knew how difficult it was for Harry to have his mother living so far away, so she made an effort to make sure he was eating well and sleeping enough.
“I’m fine. It’s just hitting me all at once. I’m tired.”
“It will pass Harry. I know you, you’ll be alright. Mr Horan called to ask how you were… you also have a few meetings this afternoon. The legal department also wanted me to let you know that they’ve found candidates. I think they were… frightened to call you back, so they called me.” Nancy said, a wry smile on her lips.
Harry gave her a weak smile in return, resting his head in his hands.
“Tell Niall I’ll call him later and that I’m ok. Cancel the rest of my meetings for today if you don’t mind and tell legal I want to meet them all as soon as possible. Tomorrow if they’re able.” Harry scanned his email for the list of candidates pausing as he read one of the names.
“I’d like to see the representative from Collins law firm tomorrow too. I’ve heard he’s quite good."
“They’ve already set up a meeting but actually it’s a “her”.” Nancy corrected.
“Huh?” Harry looked up, confusion evident in his features.
“Meet her. The interview is with his assistant, Mr Collins is caught in a family emergency. Y/N Williams, I believe. She’s Robert’s right hand woman and they specialise in this kind of thing, so you’re in good hands.”
Harry raised a brow.
“I’ll be the judge of that.”
“Don’t scare her away Harry. I know how you can be.” She chided and Harry scoffed.
“That’ll be all thank you Nancy.”
With a roll of her eyes, the older woman shuffled out of the office, closing the door behind her.
Harry rubbed his eyes in irritation, resting his head in his palms. It was going to be a long day.
Tumblr media
“Your client is WHO?!?”
“Harry Styles, you heard me the first time Lauren, and keep your voice down! I’m not supposed to say anything, it’s all very private and quiet because of who they are. And he isn’t my client yet.” Y/N exclaimed to her best friend.
Lauren had a tendency to get overexcited about things but Y/N had to admit she had butterflies in her stomach about this too. Harry Styles was without a doubt one of the most attractive men she had ever seen and the fact that she was meeting him today had her wrecked with nerves. She was curious as to what had made his marriage fall apart, at least she assumed that’s what she was hired for, given her specialty. Maybe he was bad in bed, but she doubted it. Maybe he cheated on her? Did she cheat on him? Maybe-
“Y/N! I’ve been calling your name for like 5 minutes what could you possibly be daydreaming about? Mr Styles?” Lauren laughed at the stunned look at Y/N’s face as she came back to earth.
“I wasn’t daydreaming about him! I was just thinking… I wonder what he’s like.”
“Well you’re not going to find out if we keep talking, you’re going to be late babe, go!”
So, after a few words of encouragement, Y/N made her way to the meeting, breathing heavily as she pulled into the carpark.
Styles Incorporated was one of the largest buildings in the city. It had 68 floors, high ceilings and windows that were always shining. Y/N made her way inside, slightly taken aback by the atmosphere. There were hundreds of workers but it was so quiet, almost as though they didn’t dare make a sound. Y/N grimaced at the sound of her heels clicking on the tiles, walking towards reception.
“Hello, I’m Y/N Williams, I’m here for an interview with Mr Styles.” Y/N said politely, almost in a whisper due to how quiet the building was.
The woman at the desk peered at her from behind her glasses.
“He’s expecting you. 68th floor. Glass office, you can’t miss it.”
“Thank you. Anything I should know before I go in?” Y/N meant it as a joke, simply because she was nervous, but the woman nodded.
“Don’t speak unless spoken to, don’t ask any personal questions, and address him as Mr Styles at all times.”
Y/N blinked in shock, before nodding and walking quickly to the elevator. Her stomach turned as the elevator rose, and she took deep breaths to calm herself down. The woman at the desk in front of the larger office gave her a warm smile as she arrived, telling her to head on through.
Y/N swallowed at the sight of the man behind the desk, plastering a shaky smile on her face and entering through the door. His eyes remained glued to his laptop as she stood timidly in front of him for a few moments before clearing her throat.
“It’s lovely to meet you Mr Styles I’m-“
“Late.” He remarked, eyes still on the screen.
“I’m sorry?”
“You’re late, Miss Williams. You’re also not who I was expecting.” He looked up at her for the first time and Y/N was taken aback slightly by his features. He looked as though he had been chiseled from stone, all hard lines and piercing green eyes and cheekbones that could cut glass.
“I don’t mean to be rude but I believe I’m right on time.” Y/N checked her watch, noting that it was 10am exactly.
“Around here, if you aren’t early, you’re late. I’m a busy man Miss Williams, if I’m not punctual everything falls apart. Do you understand?”
Y/N exhaled softly, observing the rather irritated man in front of her, gathering her thoughts.
“Of course Mr Styles, I apologise. I don’t want to take up too much of your time, I’m sure this is an issue that you’re eager to move quickly through.” Y/N mentally high fived herself as her voice only shook slightly, even if she had basically rehearsed what she was going to say like a script about 10 times on the way over.
“Take a seat Miss Williams. You look like you’re about to run at any minute and unfortunately for you, I have time.”
Y/N swallowed before nodding meekly and taking a seat on the other side of his desk.
“So I thought I would start with why you should hire-“
“Do I frighten you Miss Williams? You look rather frightened.” He cut her off, a small smirk on his face.
Y/N froze. She didn’t know how to respond to that.
“I’m sorry Mr Styles but I don’t think that’s very relevant to what we need to be-“
“I think it’s relevant. I want to know whether I frighten you or whether you just find me so attractive  that you can’t possibly look me in the eye. Maybe it’s both. I tend to have that effect.” He stood, leaning slightly over his desk, towering over her.
“Mr Styles that isn’t very appropriate. It also seems like a bit of a personal question and I’d like to keep this professional.“
“It might not be appropriate Miss Williams, but I am curious. You intrigue me. And as for professional well… I’m certainly not one to talk about what happens inside my office.” He smirked again and Y/N genuinely thought she was about to combust. The betrayal that she felt from the wetness between her legs was also overwhelming to the point where she couldn’t take it anymore. What he was offering she was unsure but Y/N had a job and Robert trusted her to do well.
“Ok well let’s talk. How about we start with the reason you and Mrs Styles feel the need for divorce, so I can properly convince you why our firm is what you need.” Y/N could hardly believe she was rejecting whatever was going on and she also couldn’t believe her voice still worked after all of that.
It was like a switch. One minute he was flirty and suggestive and wildly inappropriate and the next he was dropping back into his chair, the smirk disappearing from his face and instead replaced by a flicker of annoyance and then… sadness? He recovered from his emotive slip quickly and his original stony features were back. It’s a shame, Y/N thought. He’s rather beautiful when he smiles.
“She cheated on me.” He said bluntly.
It took everything in Y/N not to react. But it was almost as though he could tell she was trying to control herself.
“You can laugh. I would. CEO Harry Styles. Has the world at his fingertips and can’t love anyone enough for them to stay.” He laughed bitterly and Y/N almost wished she could give him a hug.
“That’s… not what I was thinking.”
“No? You feel sorry for me then? It’s usually one of the two. It’s alright Miss Williams, when you get to where I am in the world you soon realise that everyone leaves sooner or later.” Mr Styles raised his eyebrows, seeming slightly taken aback by his own admittance. Y/N couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming need to reassure him that he would be alright. It seemed behind his arrogance and cocky persona, he was just lonely.
He cleared his throat, his emotionless mask returning as he checked his watch before looking up at the ceiling and rolling his eyes.
“You have… about a minute of my time remaining before I have other things to be doing. I’ve seen five other candidates today and they were all spectacularly mediocre. So, convince me.”
Y/N hushed the little voice inside that wanted to scream about how he had done most of the talking. Instead, she took a deep breath and explained their plan, just as she had rehearsed in the mirror that morning. She said most of it with her eyes cast downward and when she was finished she raised her gaze slowly, noting the small smirk on his face.
“Ok. You’re hired.” Mr Styles stood abruptly, ignoring the look of shock that flittered across Y/N’s face. Hired? Just like that?”
“Oh really? Well thank you Mr Styles, I’m sure Mr Collins will be in touch.” Y/N gathered her things, slightly relieved to be escaping from the confines of his office.
“Hired on one condition. We win and you go out to lunch with me.” It wasn’t a request. More of a statement.
Y/N’s cheeks flamed as she struggled to compose herself.
“Mr Styles I really don’t think that’s appr-“
“I don’t really care what-“
“Would you stop cutting me off?! For goodness sake let me speak!” Y/N huffed and rolled her eyes, stopping short at the look on his face.
“Oh my goodness Mr Styles I am so sorry, I didn’t mean it. Sometimes my mouth starts working before my brain.” Y/N was aware she was rambling but she couldn’t help it. She’d blown the deal, she must have.
His signature smirk reappeared and Y/N’s shoulder’s relaxed slightly.
“Don’t apologise Miss Williams. I was riling you up. I like a woman who knows what she wants. Do we have a deal?”
Y/N hesitated before thinking back to Robert’s text. Do whatever it takes.
“Ok. I’ll… go to lunch with you if we win.”
“Wonderful. When we win you mean. Now I hate to cut this short darling but I really do have places to be. I’m sure I’ll see you soon, tell Robert to give me a call ok?”
With that, he ushered her out the door, closing it behind her. Y/N stood, frozen for a moment before making her way slowly to the elevator.
What was that?
Tumblr media
Harry chuckled to himself as he watched her through the glass walls of his office, talking to herself quietly as she waited for the elevator, cheeks flaming. He got a kick out of making her so nervous, it did great things for his ego. He wasn’t lying, she did intrigue him and if he could convince her, she seemed like the perfect distraction to get his mind off things and a distraction was exactly what he needed right now.

Your hands are shaking as you make your way down the hall to Blue’s office. You were only called into the office for two reasons, when Blue was feeling possessive and needed to let off some steam. He would bend you over his desk for what felt like hours, ramming his thick cock into you. Your screams of pleasure would echo down the hall for all his men to hear.
The other reason which usually resulted in the same outcome was that you’re in trouble. Each time brought a flutter of nerves and excitement, your brain can’t decide how to feel about Blue. He was so wrong and fucked up in so many ways, yet he could be so sweet when he wanted to. Keeping you right where he wanted, in limbo with your own body.
You stand in front of the door taking slow deep breaths as you smooth your hands down your barely there skirt and adjust your tie front crop top. Blue made you wear these clothes if you could call them that. You slowly open the door and you’re hit with a strong musky scent, like Blue’s but there’s something different there. You see the back of a man’s head seated in front of Blue’s desk, your heart slams in your chest at the thought of interrupting a meeting.
So stupid you should have knocked
You’re turning on your heel faster than you can register.
“Where are you going sweetheart.” His voice stops you in your tracks and you turn to see Blue uncharacteristically smiling at you. He motions come here with his fingers and you’re at his side in an instant. He places a firm hand on the small of your back as he faces you towards the man in the chair. Your breath catches in your throat as you're met with venomous eyes and a grim expression. He’s staring at you but he’s looking at your eyes, something most men don’t do.
You can smell it now the difference it’s fresh leather, his jacket and gloves in pristine condition. He definitely cares about his appearance, it seems just as much as Blue. Something about him was so familiar and you don’t even notice how long you’ve been staring at each other until a tight squeeze on your hip brings you back.
“This is my cousin Jake, he’s gonna be here for a few days to keep an eye on some things for me.”
“Jake, this is my number one girl.” He smacks your ass eliciting a yelp from you and you can’t look at the man in front of you. Your face grows hot at the display he’s showing in front of this man who certainly peaked your curiosity.
  “What’s your na-.”
“Don’t worry about what her name is.” Blue bites out. Jake shoots him a look of warning and Blue holds his hands up in mock surrender.
  He’s not in control
“Listen, her name is not important. If you need anything from her you ask me. Jake nods at him in understanding.
“Go get ready, you’ve got a busy night and I don’t want you keeping anyone waiting.” He slaps your ass again and you stifle a groan not wanting to deal with the aftermath of him hearing you.
“Yes sir.” Is all you manage as you round the desk.
“Adiós Princesa.” He’s gonna be trouble.
  ****
“I need you to keep an eye on some high profile clients.” Blue lights his cigar and settles further into his chair.
“You’ve got muscle all over this place, what do you need me for?” Jake knows he’s not here by accident.
“They don’t have an eye like you…I think there’s some business going on under the table and I don’t want it going on in my club.”
“Fair enough, I can only stay a few days.” Jake pulls his hat down nervously.
“A few days is all I need and you’ll be paid before you leave.”
Jake stands to leave but hesitates just before the door.
“How much for your number one girl?”
Blue clenches his fist, digging his fingernails into his palm. He takes a steady calming breath and rolls his tense shoulders back. Jake was doing him a favor, but the thought of him having you still made him jealous.
“I’m not paying you enough for her.” He smirks to himself waiting for Jake's response.
Jake is seeing red-does he know who I am? He knows he would never do anything to his cousin but it was hard keeping his cool when he always had such a smart mouth.
“I have my own money hermaño.”
Jake's insistence was pissing him off but he needed his help.
“You can have her tomorrow night, she’s busy tonight.”
  “For how lo-.”
“I’ll decide how long.” He says through gritted teeth.
Jake exits the office with a noxious grin. I think I’ll decide.
  ****
Blue told you to be ready for Jake. He was colder than normal and didn’t give you many details. You weren’t new to this but something about Jake made you nervous.
You knock lightly on his door and he immediately opens as if he was waiting on the other side. He beckons you in and turns you to face him.Your eyes trail down his bare chest and notice the bulge in his black boxers. He looks at you hungrily as he pulls the tie on your black silk robe letting it fall to the floor. You’re wearing matching blue lace lingerie underneath.
“I see you followed my instructions.” He grazes his thumb over your nipple sending a shiver down your spine. He leans in to kiss you but you pull away. You see that look in his eyes again and you’re trembling but they immediately soften into something sad.
  “He doesn’t kiss you?”
“No sir.” He places a hand behind your neck pulling you into a bruising kiss, your lips melt into his as he moans into your mouth. He’s pushing you onto the bed without breaking the kiss as your tongues dance with one another. You feel like you’re floating from this intimacy. You feel the guilt creep up on someone other than Blue making you feel like this but you push it down not wanting to ruin this moment.
“I’m gonna make you feel good Princesa.” He’s breathless as he trails kisses along your jaw and down your body, he gently lifts your hips to slide your panties down and groans at the sight of your dripping folds. He licks a stripe through your entrance and circles your clit with his tongue. Soft whimpers leave your mouth as you grip the sheets beneath you.
“He doesn’t take his time with you, does he?” He doesn’t give you time to answer as he inserts a finger into your slick cunt drawing quick circles around your clit with his thumb.
You slam your hand over your mouth to muffle the cries of pleasure. He quickly grabs your wrist with his other hand.
“I want to hear you, I want him to hear you.” Fuck
He inserts another finger and fucks you at a fast pace, you don’t know how you’ll survive if his fingers stretch you like this. His tongue is on your sensitive nub and your breath hitches as he closes his lips down on your clit. He grinds his hips into the mattress for some friction where he desperately needs it.
“Oh..fuck…sir right there.” He chuckles lowly into your pussy and the vibrations could send you over the edge.
“You can call me Jake.” He curls his fingers and presses down on your bundle of nerves. Your release slams through you leaving you sobbing his name as your whole body shakes. He’s kissing your thighs as you come back down and looking at you like you hold all the answers.
“Be a good girl and get on your hands and knees.”
Your body moves faster than your brain wanted you to but you’re putty in his hands now. You can hear him shuffle behind you as he discards his boxers somewhere. You’re trying to calm your ragged breathing but his hot tongue devours your slick folds and circles your rim. His hands grip your waist before you collapse into the headboard.
He grips the base of his cock slowly dragging it through your slit, you can feel his tip breach your entrance and you keen at the stretch. He’s rocking his hips back and forth and his thick cock can barely fit.Your pussy clenches down on him and he bites down on his bottom lip practically drawing blood.
“I need you to relax…just let me in and it will feel so much better.” He reaches around and his fingertips circle your swollen clit. He can feel you relax around him as he works your hips onto his length. He’s in awe watching your slick coat the base of his cock as he stretches your pussy to the brim.
“Tell me who's making you feel this good.” He’s panting behind you as he picks up his pace.
“You Jake…fuck it feels so good.” All you can hear are the sounds of his hips meeting yours, the squelch of your cunt as his balls slap your clit over and over.
“Can I put it anywhere?” He runs his thumb along your lesser used hole and all you can manage is a breathy yes. He pulls out of your entrance and spreads your ass wide with his calloused hands.
You feel a glob of spit on your rim causing your pussy to clench around nothing. He prods just the tip and you already feel so full, he churns his hips slowly and your body feels on fire. The sensation has never felt so good, no one has ever taken their time.
You can tell he’s coming apart as his groans grow deeper and his thrusts become erratic. The pain gives way to pleasure as he snaps his hips into yours, he’s filling you with each roll of his hips and you can’t hear your thoughts over the screams of his name.
“Who do you belong to?” He’s grunting behind you as he slams you down on his cock.
“You..I’m.yours.Jake.” Each word punctuated on a thrust. A wrecked sound tears out of his chest from deep within as his release slams through him. His hips slow as he empties himself inside you. He trails light kisses down your sweaty spine and pulls out of you with a hiss.
You collapse onto the bed and he pulls your back flush with his chest. You can hear him drifting off to sleep as he mutters under his breath.
“Not letting you go, never letting you go.”
  ****
You don’t know how long you’ve been asleep when you hear a rap on the door. You turn to see Jake fast asleep, you raise his arm from your waist and slink out of bed to not disturb him.
As you place your robe back on you hear another frantic knock on the door. You hurry over to open it, not wasting time to find your panties.
“Times up sweetheart.” Blue’s eyes are bloodshot, his liner is smeared down his face and the anger in his expression isn’t one you’ve seen before. He grabs your arm and yanks you out of the room slamming the door behind you. His grip on you doesn’t loosen as he stalks down the hallway. You can hardly keep up with him as you trip over your feet.
“He fuck you so stupid you can’t even walk.” He doesn’t bother to pick you up, practically dragging you down the hall to his office. You can feel the tears prickling behind your eyes. His office door is a welcome sight for your poor knees.
“Get up.” His pupils are blown wide as you stand on shaky legs to enter his office. He’s pacing back and forth, Blue’s never been like this. He wouldn’t kill you, would he? He asked you to go to Jake's room. He finally stops pacing and sits in his chair. You can only stare at the floor afraid to meet his gaze as you fidget with the hem of your robe.
“Come have a seat.” His voice has softened a little and you feel a brief moment of relief. You move towards the chair but hear the faint sound of his belt buckle, as you look up and meet his eyes you can see the resemblance- the venomous eyes.
“You know where I want you to sit.” You can feel the arousal between your legs mixed with the dried cum. His cock is red and angry leaking precum down his length. You move to stand in front of him facing away as he smooths his hands up and down your thighs. He smacks your thigh and you hover your entrance over his lap.
“Sit.” You cry out at the stretch as he pulls you flush against his hips giving you no time to adjust.
“Did you enjoy yourself?” How do you answer this?
“No.” He slaps your pussy hard and you bite down on your tongue.
“Yes.” He growls in your ear and you can feel his cock pulse inside your walls.
“If you want to keep lying to me that’s fine, you’ll just have to make it up to me later.” He circles your clit with his fingertips and you clench around him.
“Who do you belong to?” You're weightless as he bounces you on his cock punching something deep inside you.
“You Blue…I belong to you.” He grips your hair pulling you back against his chest as he thrusts his hips up.
“Oh…tsk tsk I thought you were Jakes?” Was he listening?
“I’m so sorry Blue, I’m yours I’m all yours I swear.” You’re sobbing now as he picks up his pace, never releasing the grip on your hair. Your orgasm is approaching and you shouldn’t have this reaction to him but your body craves it. He’s the rehab and the drug all at once.
You’re thrust forward onto the desk and your grasping at anything for purchase as he fucks you at a relentless pace.
“Oh my god…Blue please.” Your cunt swallows him with each thrust. He pulls out of you suddenly, coming with a choked sound as he pumps his cock with his fist. You can feel the hot ropes of cum on your back staining the black satin robe. You can hear his wrecked groans as he milks the last of himself into his hand. He leans forward onto your back holding his hand in front of your face.
“Clean it.” You lick the salty remnants of his spend from his hand, moaning and savoring the taste the way he likes. As he slumps back into his chair you feel your pussy ache at the lack of release.
“You can go sweetheart.” The whine that escapes you is not lost on him.
“Maybe when you remember who you belong to you can come.” His menacing laugh echoes in your thoughts for the rest of the night.
  ****
“Those clients you wanted me to watch, we're trying to poach some of your girls. I took care of them so you shouldn’t have any more problems.”
Blue doesn’t really care what taking care of them means as long as the problem is resolved.
“Good, feel free to stay one more night. I’ll send some girls to your room.”
“Thanks hermaño, I’ll be out of your hair tomorrow. Ugh no need to send any girls, I need my rest for the drive.” Jake stands to exit Blue’s office but hesitates once again at the door.
“How much for your girl?” Blue groans white knuckling his chair -not this again.
“It’ll be double for tonight, same rules as last time.” He relents not wanting to cause a rift and is grateful for Jake's help.
“I mean how much to keep her…I want her.”
If Blue could spit fire he would. Who does he think he is? He would have anyone else killed for less than what Jakes got away with and now this?
Jake turns to face Blue and he’s seething, a long silence passes between the two men as he awaits his response.
“I wouldn’t let you have her for all the money in the world...She’s mine” His voice is dark and barely above a whisper. His eyes narrow slits and he looks like a snake ready to strike.
Jake walks towards his desk and Blue stands, both men on either side. He’s a wolf in the lion's den but he won’t back down. He leans forward placing his hands on the desk.
“People don’t say no to me Blue.” He laughs, the bastard laughs and for the first time Jake thinks he might be in trouble. Blue leans forward just inches away from Jake's face.
“There’s a first time for everything…Goodnight Jake.” He doesn’t falter, their faces still inches apart and then his face splits into a sickly sweet grin sending a chill down Blue’s spine.
  “Goodnight.”
  ****
Your head is pounding in your skull and your body feels in motion. You can’t tell if it’s day or night but you know you’re not in your room. The smell of leather permeates your senses and it hurts to open your eyes. Your face is wet from laying in a puddle of your own drool.
You lift your weak body up and come to the realization that you're in a car. The windows are tinted black and you can hardly see outside-its a limousine. You wipe the drool from your mouth and try to remember the night. After Blue made you leave you cleaned yourself up and went to bed.
Is that really all you remember?
Tears begin to spill as panic sets in, the bile coming up in your throat at the thought of being in a stranger's car. You start to crawl towards the front and your body is so weak, you’ve never felt like this before as you try to focus on the soft carpet beneath your palms. You knock lightly on the partition and it slowly lowers.
“Good morning hermosa, how’d you sleep?” Your breath catches in your throat at the site of Jake. His hat pulled down above his furrowed brow.
“Please…take me back please. He’s going to be so mad.” You're crying and trying to catch your breath. All the while he’s laughing as his gloved hands tighten the grip on the steering wheel.
“Don’t worry, you’re safe with me now. You’re safe with us now.”He raises the partition muffling your screams as you bang on it incessantly. You feel the exhaustion creeping in from your panic and you know no matter the outcome you were not safe.

Shit.
Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.
Shit.
“It’s so good to see you!” His smile was broad and looked genuine, not that you really bought it. He hugged you and your arms hung limply at your sides for a moment before you lifted a hand and patted him lightly on the back. “Missed you like crazy!”
He pulled back from you and looked you up and down.
“Why don’t you look happy to see me?”
Because you weren’t.
“Just shocked,” you said. “What are you doing here?”
“I can’t just stop by and see you when I’m in town?” He was damn near pouting. You tried not to roll your eyes. He was 53 goddamn years old and he was pouting. But that wasn’t a surprise, you were pretty sure he’d stopped maturing at 18. “You can come see me whenever you’d like, don’t need to call or anything, not that you ever do…”
“Oh, that’s rich,” you snapped before the glint of the sun off the glass door of your office building caught your eye. The client you were taking to lunch was heading right for the reception desk. You closed your eyes for a second and sighed. “Look, I don’t have time for… whatever it is you’re showing up here about.”
“I can’t just come to see my best girl?”
He was all but pouting again.
“We both know that’s not why you’re here,” you said. “Sit here, in the lobby, until I get back from this meeting. Don’t talk to anyone, don’t touch anything, we can talk about this when I’m done.”
“You really think I’m going to make that big a mess in, what, an hour?” He raised his eyebrows at you. You glared back.
“Wouldn’t be the first time. I mean it, Dad. Just… Don’t fuck something up. Please.”
“Angel,” he took your shoulders in his hands. “It’s going to be different this time. I mean it. Go to your meeting, I’ll be here when you’re done.”
Different this time. Sure. That was the chorus you’d heard again and again, every three years or so when he popped out of the woodwork and managed to track you down again. This time he had his shit together, this time he had a job he was just about to start, this time he was sober and going to stay that way. And every time he managed to blow at least part of your life up.
You heard your name being called from reception and you pasted a smile on your face, heading to greet your client, trying not to think about the fact that your dad had managed track you down yet again.
The lunch went surprisingly well, considering the fact that your brain was busy running through every damn scenario possible for why your dad had decided to show up and every way he could find to fuck your life up this time.
To his credit, he was sitting on the couch in the lobby, scrolling through his phone when you got back. He didn’t even notice you come in. You went to reception and Norah, the woman working the desk that day, confirmed that he’d sat there quietly for the two hours you were gone.
You sighed. Maybe he was going to make an effort this time. There was a first time for everything, you supposed.
“Alright,” you said and he looked up from his phone and smiled. “I have a few more things to take care of today, think you can behave yourself while I work?”
“You realize you’re the kid and I’m the parent, right?” He asked, getting up.
“Don’t know why that should start now,” you muttered, leading the way to the elevator.
He didn’t say anything back. Which you reluctantly gave him credit for. You’d been trying go goad him into it, antagonize him and push him into snapping so you could wash your hands of him. Apparently, he wasn’t going to let you.
You pulled out your phone when you got to your desk, your dad settling into a chair in the corner, pulling out his own phone and silently returning to it. You watched him for a moment.
To say your relationship with your father was complicated was putting it pretty fucking mildly. He’d never been in your life in any meaningful way. He came and went like the seasons did, eventually even adopting a similar regularity.
He cropped up every three years or so now and, since the last time you saw him had been before you moved to Seattle, you were due for him showing up and running roughshod over your life.
In past visits, he’d emptied your bank account, invited some “old friends” over who ended up being random men he’d met at a bar who then trashed your apartment, showed up to an event at your office so drunk that he threw up on another guest.
Every time, he claimed he wanted to see you. Spend time with his “best girl” (only girl - he had no other children and no woman would have him for longer than a few days), catch up on everything he’d missed when he was busy fucking around, moving from couch to couch until wore out his welcome, burning every bridge at every job he’d ever had.
No, you didn’t trust your father as you could fucking throw him. And you sure as hell didn’t want him anywhere near Joel.
That relationship was too new to bring him into the shit show that was your family, the stuff you tried so hard to hide that you all but lied about even having family to begin with. When talking to Joel about it, you’d just shrugged and said “No siblings, my parents have been gone for a while, no other family to speak of.”
You knew what he’d assume with the word “gone.” The same thing everyone else did: that they were dead. They weren’t. They were very much alive, they were just dead to you. Your mother was in Wisconsin, your father was… wherever the fuck he happened to be at the time. Which, right now, was Austin. In your office. And you had the sickening feeling that, if he actually knew Joel existed, he’d find a way to ruin it.
You sighed and texted Joel.
“So sorry, something came up at work. Can’t see you tonight.”
It technically wasn’t even a lie. Something had come up. And that something had come up at your work.
It still felt like a lie, though, and it turned your stomach to lie to Joel. Even though you knew the best, safest option was to keep him far, far away from that part of your life. Your phone buzzed.
“Shit happens. I’ll miss you. Tomorrow night?”
Fuck, you wanted to be able to see him tomorrow night. Your thumb hovered over the keyboard for a moment. You wanted to be able to say “Yes, absolutely, I’m going to need you to fuck whatever is about to come up with my dad out of my head so I don’t go insane. Also, I think I’m falling in love with you but let’s talk about that later.”
Instead, you set your phone down again.
You answered a few emails, sent the details of the potential contract you’d secured with the client at lunch over to that department, reviewed some copy that your team was slated to present to clients early next week. Your dad sat in the chair, not saying a word, just as you asked. You stalled as long as you could before you turned in your desk chair to face him. You put your head in your hands for a moment, pressing your fingers into the hollows over your eyes before you sighed and folded your arms in front of you.
“Alright,” you said. “What are you doing here.”
He put his phone down on the small table and smiled a little at you.
“Meant what I said before,” he said. “Missed you, Angel. Wanted to see you, spend some time with you…”
“How did you even know where I was?” You cut him off.
“I called your mom last week,” he said. “She said you’d moved here, that you had some fancy job down this way. She was real proud of you…”
“So that’s why you’re here?” You asked, brows raised. “Think you can get something out of my ‘fancy job’?”
“No, Angel, of course not,” he actually looked hurt by it. As though he hadn’t stolen thousands from you just six years ago. “Look, I know that I haven’t been the best father.”
“That’s an understatement.”
He ignored your comment.
“But I’m doing better now,” he said. “I really am. I was in prison for a bit…”
“You what?” You demanded, sitting forward in your seat. “Jesus Christ, Dad, what did you do?”
“Same shit I usually do,” he smiled a little, sheepishly. “Staying with a friend and I… uh… helped myself to some of the cash they had lying around. They weren’t thrilled with that so they called the cops.”
“Shit,” you sat back in your chair and closed your eyes for a second, taking a deep breath, before looking at him again. “So what happened, did you have a good attorney?”
“Nah, just a public defender,” he waved you off. “She was a nice lady but didn’t exactly have much time for my case. I pled out, got myself two years…”
“You could have called,” you said. “I could have helped you, I went to school with some people who became pretty fucking good attorneys…”
“I didn’t want to bother you,” he said.
“Never stopped you before.”
He ignored that, too.
“It ended up being good for me,” he said. “A blessing, really. Being inside forced me to actually sober up. For real this time. Haven’t had a drink in 27 months.”
You raised your eyebrows.
“Good for you,” you said, not even sarcastically.
“Got my GED too,” he said, sitting up a little straighter. “I know it’s late in life but I want to try and do something right. Get a real job, actually do something with myself. Maybe pay you back, even though I know it won’t make up for all the shit I’ve put you through over… well, your whole life.”
You nodded slowly.
“So are you just out or are you on probation?” You asked.
“Probation,” he said, wincing slightly. “Actually told my probation officer that I’d be staying with my kid…”
And there it was.
“Jesus Christ,” you muttered. “You can’t just…”
“I know,” he said. You ignored him.
“Remember that time, when I was 10 and Aunt Sue dropped me off at your place for what was supposed to be your weekend?” You snapped. “And you and all your buddies were so off your ass drunk and high that I ended up going to a neighbor’s house to see if they had food because I hadn’t eaten in two days? Because I sure fucking do, if you think I owe you something, that I’m going to baby sit you because you knocked my mom up…”
“I don’t,” he said quickly. “I know that. I do.”
“Do you?” You asked. “Because it sure seems like you think you can just come in here and fuck up my life on a whim and you think I’m just going to let you!”
Your email dinged and you sighed, going back to your computer. One of your copywriters had a question about a client and you tried to focus on reviewing the creative brief before responding and going back to your dad. You took a deep, calming breath.
“What is it you want.”
“What I’d like,” he said slowly. “Is to stay with you for a little bit while I find a job. It’s OK if you don’t want that, Angel, it really is. But I’d like to get to know you. Actually get to know you. But I’ll call my probation officer and tell him right now that I’m going to need another place to go, it’s OK. He’ll help me figure it out, he’s a good guy. I’m not trying to be your responsibility. It’s a little late to try to be your dad. But I’d like to be something to you.”
You just looked at him for a moment. He seemed so… genuine. Actually sincere. And he didn’t smell like liquor or look strung out.
You sighed.
“Alright,” you said. “You can stay with me for a bit. Just through the weekend to start, no promises after that.”
He smiled.
“I’d really like that.”
You took your dad home with you that night, picking up tacos on the way to your apartment. You’d gotten a two bedroom place, at least. Not because you ever had guests - you never had guests - but because you worked from home sometimes and you wanted the office space. At least the couch you’d bought for that room was a sleeper sofa.
You texted Joel again while your dad was in the shower, hating that you weren’t going to see him tomorrow, either. But if your dad was actually doing well, actually going to try and be a functional adult you could have a real relationship with, you owed it to him to try.
Still.
You didn’t trust him. Not yet. Especially not with something like Joel.
It was kind of surreal, having him in your apartment, doing anything but looking for a way to fuck you over. Consciously, you knew that’s not what it had always been. He’d often started with good intentions. You knew he didn’t set out trying to steal from you or embarrass you in front of your coworkers. He just didn’t know how to function in the life you lived. No one from your childhood did. He’d try, for a few days, and then he’d fall back into old habits.
But this time was different. Or seemed different, at least. You hoped it was different.
You watched a movie with him - Spaceballs, something he loved to watch with you on the rare occasions he was around enough to do things like watch movies with you when you were a kid - and he told you a bit about everything that had happened in the three years since you’d last seen him.
For a change, he seemed genuinely interested in what you’d been doing since then, too. He’d never even known that you were in Seattle - something that you found oddly comforting but strange all at once. Strange that this person who made up half of who you were was so distant that he didn’t know where you’d lived two years of your life. That if something had happened to you, he wouldn’t have known. Something had happened to him. You hadn’t known that, either. You weren’t sure if you regretted that or not.
“I do have to work tomorrow,” you said as you wound down for the evening. “Do you have a plan or anything you need?”
“Just wanted to look for some jobs,” he said. “If I could use a computer? The phone makes it hard to fill out applications. Don’t think I’ll need to go anywhere.”
“Sure,” you said, trying not to look surprised. “You can use my laptop, no problem.”
You set up a profile for him on your computer and made sure yours was password protected. And you reset the password so it couldn’t be something he would know - Joel0926. Just in case.
Joel texted you before you woke up - “Good morning, Beautiful. Hope your day isn’t too rough and that you’re taking care of yourself.” - and you wanted to tell him everything. All of it, all about your dad, all about where you came from, all about what you’d gone through to make it this far.
But he liked the person you’d made him think you were. What if he didn’t like this other version of you? What if your dad just took off in a few days and you risked blowing up everything with Joel for nothing?
“Thanks,” you wrote back, with a heart emoji. You sighed. He deserved better than this. But you weren’t sure how to give that to him, not right now.
All day at work, part of you was worried that you’d come home to find your apartment trashed or everything with any value gone with your father nowhere to be found.
Instead, he was in your kitchen, cursing quietly. You frowned and followed the sound, a slightly burned smell on the air.
“Dad?” You frowned, setting your tote bag on the counter as he bent over the oven. He jumped a little before straightening. He smiled sheepishly.
“Hey Angel. How was your day?”
“Fine,” you said. “What are you doing?”
“I… well…” he looked down at a glass baking dish that was more blackened than anything else. “I figured you’d probably had a long day and since you’re letting me stay here, thought I’d try to cook and I found a recipe online but I haven’t really cooked before…”
You went over and looked down into the pan with an almost amused frown.
“What even is it?”
“Well… I was gonna try and make a deep dish pizza,” he said. “You like that, I think, right? You went to school in Chicago, right?”
You smiled a little.
“How about I just order us pizza?” You said, having to swallow past a knot in your throat.
He looked relieved.
“Yeah,” he laughed. “Probably smart.”
You helped him apply for jobs through the weekend and were almost surprised to be settling into a pattern with him early into the next week. It was an odd role reversal, teaching your dad how to function in the real world. The one where people had jobs and bills and didn’t hop from friend’s place to friend’s place instead of having an actual home address.
But you weren’t confident enough to actually tell Joel any of it. You were still dodging him. Telling him about your dad opened the door to telling him about everything else from your younger years, things you’d worked hard to not have to share with anyone. Next week. If your dad was still around, still keeping his shit together, still trying to be in your life, then you would tell Joel. And, if he still liked you, you’d tell your dad about him.
Though that seemed like a big if.
Wednesday, you started questioning things.
Joel wasn’t texting as much. Not that you blamed him, you’d barely responded to him at all, not sure what to say but not wanting to lie to him. But you missed the texts. They were the bright spot in your day. You missed him. You wanted to go to his house and drag him to his bed and ride him until you were both sweaty and exhausted. You wanted to kiss him in a noisy bar that smelled like stale beer while you were tipsy. You wanted to call him on your way home from work so you could vent to each other and, by the time you came home to him, just hold each other until you had to move to figure out food.
You missed him because he was the first person you’d been close enough to that you might need to tell them about all of it and that terrified you. So maybe you were looking for problems when you got home after work and found your dad on the couch, watching sports.
“Hey Angel,” he smiled.
“Hey,” you sighed, dropping your bag by the door and stepping out of your heels before you flopped on the couch next to him. He hugged you and kissed your check. You frowned. “Have you been drinking?”
“What?” He laughed, looking at you like you were crazy.
“You smell like alcohol.”
“Angel,” he laughed. “It’s 5:30.”
“So?”
“No,” he said. “I haven’t been drinking. I did use some Listerine a little while ago, ate some sour cream and onion chips, didn’t want to knock you out with my breath.”
“OK,” you said, still skeptical. “How was your day?”
“Good,” he said. “I think I have an interview for next week, can you help me respond to the recruiter? I’m shit at writing things and not sounding like an idiot.”
“Sure,” you laughed a little. “Do you have job interview clothes?”
“What d’you mean?” He frowned, looking over at you.
“I mean you can’t show up to a job interview in jeans and a t-shirt, Dad,” you said. “Do you have like… a button down and khakis at least?”
“Don’t exactly got much,” he laughed a little. “Sure it’s fine, just a factory job…”
“We’ll go shopping when I get off work Friday,” you said. “I’ve got a late call with the west coast team tomorrow, I’ll be at the office late.”
“Honey, I can’t afford…” he began but you cut him off.
“I can,” you said. “Don’t worry about it.”
There was a knot of guilt in your stomach after accusing him of drinking, after he was making such an effort. But you checked the levels on your liquor bottles before you went to bed all the same.
But by Friday, you were feeling good about how things were going. There was a routine in your life, one that involved your father for the first time ever. It looked like he was serious about settling down in the area, applying for jobs and setting up interviews. Besides Wednesday’s blip, things seemed stable and you couldn’t stay away from Joel any more.
When he texted you Friday morning asking how things were going and if you’d be free again sometime soon, you took a deep breath and texted back.
“Hoping by Sunday,” you said.
By Sunday, you’d feel like telling him about your dad and everything else was worth the risk. Unless everything blew up. In which case, who cares.
You just hoped he’d still be interested, especially after you’d all but blown him off all week.
You took your dad to the mall that night, him modeling the dress pants and button downs for you, coming out of the fitting room looking a little unsure but a small smile on his face all the same.
“Feel like we should be doing the reverse of this,” he said, putting an arm around your shoulders. “If I’d done what I shoulda done years ago, I could have taken you shopping when you were a teenager and you could have showed me shit like prom dresses and I could buy you something you needed, not the other way around.”
“Yeah, well,” you shrugged and smiled a little. “I’m just glad we get to do this now.”
He smiled and kissed your temple.
“Me too, Angel,” he gave you a squeeze. “Me too.”
You went by H-E-B on the way home to get a few things for the weekend and started to go grab a bottle of wine and a six pack when you stopped yourself. Your dad laughed a little.
“Just because I’m not drinking doesn’t mean you can’t drink,” he said. “It’s fine. I can handle it.”
“You’re sure?” You frowned.
“I’m sure.”
So you got the beer and a bottle of red wine - one from the winery Joel had taken you to on your first date, something that made you smile - and got steaks. Getting to see Joel again soon, your dad lining up a job interview, things actually going well between the two of you for the first time in your life. It felt like a reason to make something nice.
Your dad went to put his new clothes and shoes away while you started dinner and you decided to make yourself a cocktail. It was going to be a good weekend. You could feel it.
You made a Tom Collins and had just melted butter in your skillet to baste the steaks when you took your first sip.
It was watery.
So watery it didn’t taste like there was liquor in it at all.
Your hand shook as you set the glass down and you went to the liquor cupboard and took out the gin. You sniffed the bottle and smelled almost nothing. No familiar burn or hint of pine. You took a sip straight from the bottle to test it. It didn’t matter that you were putting your lips on it. You knew you wouldn’t need to save it.
It was water. Straight water.
You clenched your jaw and swallowed past the burning tightness in your throat. You weren’t about to cry. Not in front of him.
“Hey Angel,” he said, coming out from his room in sweats. He froze when he saw what was in your hands. “Oh, shit, I…”
“Thought you were sober,” your voice shook. “Thought you wanted me in your life.”
“I do, Honey, I really do, but…”
“But you just couldn’t keep yourself from getting fucked up every day?” You were going to cry. You were going to cry in front of this fucking asshole because you cared. He’d made you actually care, you’d fallen for his bullshit yet again and it was your own goddamn fault. “Jesus Christ, were you really going to go get a job working with heavy equipment and show up every day drunk off your ass until you killed someone?”
“I know my limits,” he was defensive. “I know what I can handle and sometimes I just work better with a little alcohol in my system, that’s all I’ve been doing, that’s…”
“This was damn near full when you got here,” you slammed the bottle on your counter. “You’ve been here a week. A fucking week and you drank through an entire fifth of gin, that’s not a little alcohol, Dad, that’s getting hammered every goddamn day.”
You pulled the pan off the stove and threw it in your sink with too much force before turning off the burner. You leaned against the counter for a moment, your fingers pressed so hard into the granite it seemed like they should be denting it.
“I want you gone,” you said.
“Angel…”
“I mean it,” you spun to face him. “I want you out. I don’t care where you go, I don’t care if you end up back in fucking prison because you lied to your parole officer, I don’t care if you drop dead. I want you gone, I never want to see you again, I want you to get the fuck out of my life.”
You shoved past him and went to your room, locking the door behind you. You curled up on your bed and let yourself cry.
You wished your father had never found you here. You wished you’d been smart enough to not fall for his shit this time around, You wished you didn’t want a connection with him, want just a shadow of what Sarah had with Joel because being on your own in the world with no ties to anything hurt almost as much as suffering your family’s bullshit did.
But, most of all, you wished Joel was here. You wished you could curl up against him and that he would hold you while you cried. You wished he’d tell you that you weren’t fucking stupid, that it made sense that you wanted a relationship with the man who’d done nothing but fuck you over your entire life, that everything was going to be OK and that he cared about you in spite of it all.
You heard your front door close and you stayed on the bed, hoping that he’d actually listen to you and not come back. You’d need to get the locks changed, check the browser history on your laptop to see if he’d gotten into any of your bank accounts or credit cards, look through your apartment and make sure he hadn’t stashed drugs somewhere and forgotten about them. Fuck, why had you been so stupid?
The sound of the crash outside jerked you out of your head. It was loud enough that the building shook a little, the endless horn after the crash impossible to ignore, and you got up, going for your front door.
Outside, outlined by the setting sun, was your car wrapped around a lamp post.
“Dad!” You yelled, running for the smoking heap of metal. He was slumped over the steering wheel and you ripped the door open, checking his pulse. His eyes fluttered open as you did, looking confused.
“What…”
“You decided to steal my car this time,” you said.
“Oh, shit, I…”
“Save it,” you snapped as a neighbor ran outside, cell phone pressed to her ear.
You ended up at the hospital with him most of the night. By the time the police were able to test him for alcohol, it was all out of his system. He hadn’t had a drink since you’d picked him up to go to the mall that evening. You weren’t sure if you should be grateful or if you wished he’d failed the test so he’d end up back in prison and far away from you.
He was mostly fine, just a little banged up and a broken nose from the airbag. Your car was totaled.
In the back of the Uber to your place after hours in the ER, you looked at him.
“You’re gone,” you said. “By noon. Otherwise, I call the cops and you can deal with them.”
He just nodded down at his hands.
The next morning, you ordered him an Uber to the bus station. He tried to talk to you but you just sat on the couch, holding your coffee cup, pretending you were alone.
“I know I fucked it all up,” he said, standing in your doorway “But I really did like spending time with you this week. I…”
Your phone dinged, saying the driver had arrived.
“Your ride is here,” you said, not bothering to look at him.
“OK.”
He stood there and you felt his eyes on you for another moment before he turned and left. You sank back into your couch and rested your forehead in your hand for a moment, trying not to cry. Again. Because fuck, this man did not deserve it.
And then there was the knock on your door.
“Are you fucking kidding me,” you set your mug down so hard that coffee sloshed over the side and onto the table. You stalked toward the door, cell phone in your hand. You were going to call the cops on him this time, you really fucking were. “I swear to God if you forgot something you’re not coming back in…”
But it wasn’t your dad standing there.
“Joel,” you fought the urge to throw your arms around his neck and cry against him. He didn’t really look like himself, he looked upset. Hurt, angry, something. You frowned. “What are you…”
“Can I come in?” His voice was strained. You just nodded. “Think we need to talk.”
***
Your place looked the same.
It was strange, almost. Like there should be some indication of this other man here, something different about it but it was the same.
“Can I get you anything?” You asked. Your voice was thick. “I have coffee…”
“No thanks,” he said. “Don’t know how long I’ll be stayin’.”
“Oh,” you deflated a little. “Alright… What did you want to talk about? Because…”
“I thought we were on the same page,” he said, cutting you off again. He felt like a dick doing it but he had to get this out, if he didn’t it felt like he was going to burst with it and if he stood here too close to you for too long he wouldn’t do it. He’d just kiss you and wind up in your bed and be stuck in this sickening limbo he’d been trapped in for a week now. “I really did. We never talked about it, not really, but I thought…”
“I thought we were, too,” you frowned, looking confused. “I don’t…”
“You said you deleted your dating apps,” Joel said, his voice becoming a little heated. He took a breath. “You said you weren’t fucking anyone else, sure made it sound like you weren’t lookin’ for anything else, like you wanted to actually see where this would go, what this could be and… fuck, I believed that!
“You made me think it was OK to feel something for you,” he pressed on, standing in your living room with you in front of him, your arms crossed over your body and you looked so small, curving in on yourself like you were trying to disappear. And so much of him wanted to just grab you and hold you and tell you that everything was going to be OK but how could he promise that if you couldn’t even fucking agree on what you were to each other. “So I let myself feel it, I let myself start to fall in love with you and then you go fuckin’ silent on me. You don’t text me first and what you do send is basically nothin’, you never call and then I see you at the mall after you tell me you’re too busy to see me with some guy wrapped around you and that same fuckin’ guy is leavin’ your apartment this morning! I mean, fuck, if I was just some damn fling for you that’s fine but could you at least tell me? Not act like I meant somethin’ to ya?”
Joel was out of breath, his hands on his hips. He couldn’t look at you, not when you looked so sad it was like someone had hit you and he was still so mad, anyway.
“That was my dad,” you said softly.
Joel looked at you.
“What?”
“The man,” you closed your eyes for a second before you took a deep breath and opened them again. “At the mall, last night. Leaving my place this morning. That was my dad.”
“You said your parents were dead.”
“No,” you shook your head. “I said they were gone and they are, from my life. Except when my dad pulls this stunt where he crawls out of the woodwork every few years.”
He just stood there, staring at you for a moment.
“Want to sit down?”
He nodded and followed you to the couch. He sat down first and you sat on the opposite end of it, as far away from him as you could be.
“You knew I thought they were dead,” he said slowly. You nodded. “Why.”
“Joel…”
“You have to help me understand this, Beautiful,” his voice was calmer now. “Why would you let me believe a lie, I don’t…”
“Because I’m trash, OK? I’m trash, Joel, that’s why,” you snapped.
He frowned, shaking his head.
“You’re not…”
“Yes, I am,” you said, voice calmer. “Trailer trash, if you want to get technical about it, since I grew up in one. My dad knocked my mom up when she was 15 and he was 17, they were 15 and 18 when I was born. He took off right away and I grew up with my mom and one of her sisters because she was the only person in the family who didn’t disown my mother for getting pregnant at 15 and letting the dad run off.
“They were shit parents. It’s not really their fault, they were kids, they didn’t know what they were doing but they were really bad at it. I started taking care of myself before I can really remember, I couldn’t rely on anybody. My dad was in and out of my life even then, he decided real quick that his fucking friends and alcohol and drugs were way more important than I ever was. I tried, for a long time, to matter to him. To both of them, really. But I couldn’t so…
“I figured out that the only hope I had for not ending up like them was school. So I buckled down and did everything I could to be the best fucking student I could be. I took every AP class I could so I could get all the college credit I could manage before leaving high school, I got As in everything and I managed to get into a really good school.”
You squared your jaw, determined, and kept going.
“But good schools aren’t cheap and I had scholarships but they didn’t cover everything and it’s not like my parents were good for any of it. I didn’t want to take out loans. So I did the only thing I could find that would pay for the rest of school and pay the rent while letting me be free for classes during the day and I danced all four fucking years I was in school.”
“Danced?” Joel frowned.
You rolled your eyes.
“I was a stripper, Joel,” you said. “I’m not ashamed of it, it kept me fed and out of debt, but I’m not about to put it on my fucking LinkedIn. And it’s because they were there for none of it, they didn’t do a damn thing to help me or support me or anything but every few years my dad shows up and finds new ways to fuck me over. He wiped out my savings account once, trashed my apartment with his buddies another time. This visit he had a pretty good con going, showed up to my office acting like he had his shit together when, really, he was doing the same fucking thing he always does, which is drink and fuck his life up. And when I found out, he stole my fucking car and wrapped it around a lamp post. Because he’s trash and I am, too…”
“No, you’re not,” Joel said firmly.
“Joel…”
“You’re not,” he said. You were looking at him like you were about to cry. It made his chest hurt. “Why didn’t you tell me any of this? Why didn’t I know any of this?”
“Because everything that I am now?” You said. “Everything that you know and like about me? That’s all invented, I made it all up. I had to build myself from the ground up after I got away from that life. You liked the me that I built, Joel. The me who reads classic books and has an understanding of film theory and went to Northwestern. Why on Earth would you like the version of me who knew how to make ramen when she was four because that’s what she could reach in the cupboard or the me who took her clothes off to pay for college?”
“Because I like you,” he said gently. “Don’t really care which version, so long as you’ll let me spend time with you.”
All the hurt and the anger that had been swallowing him was gone now. In its place was this need to take care of you, to be something constant in your life in a way no one had been for you before, in a way you so desperately deserved.
You shook your head.
“That’s sweet, Joel,” you were choked up, eyes watery. “Really, it is, but you don’t mean that.”
“Don’t tell me what I do and don’t mean,” he moved to the middle cushion of the couch. “The person you are now? The one who laughs at crappy movies with me and doesn’t know shit about wine and finds the best restaurants in town? She wouldn’t exist without the girl who had to figure out how to feed herself or the young woman who was so determined to get an education she worked her ass off to make it happen.
“I wasn’t jokin’ when I said I was falling in love with you, baby, and that means all of you. Even the parts you don’t like, even the parts I don’t know yet. I’m fallin’ for the whole package and I’m fallin’ pretty hard so I’m really hoping we’re on the same page on that.”
You nodded quickly, tears actually falling now.
“Yeah,” you said, still nodding. “Yeah, we are. We really fucking are.”
You threw your arms around his neck and he pulled you against him, your face going into his chest as you cried against him.
“I’m so sorry,” your voice was muffled by his shirt. “I should have just called you and talked to you, I was so scared of losing this, losing you, I just hid it all and I almost let him ruin the best thing that’s happened to me in so long and…”
He shushed you.
“Don’t apologize,” his hand made a slow, gentle pattern from the crown of your head down your back, smoothing your hair down, tracing over your spine. “I’m sorry for assuming the worst, I’m sorry for making you think that anything about you would make me want to leave. I’m sorry for not just tellin’ you what you mean to me.”
“Yeah?” You sniffed a little, pressed yourself closer to him.
He kissed the top of your head.
“Yeah,” he said. “Because if I’d just told you how I felt about you, you wouldn’t have been dealing with all this on your own. I could have helped. I want to help. So please, Beautiful. Let me help.”
You looked up at him from your place against his chest.
“Can you just hold me for a while?” You asked quietly. “I really missed you.”
He kissed your forehead.
“Of course, baby,” he said quietly. “I really missed you, too. So damn much.”
You shifted so that you were all but on his lap and he held you close, just feeling you against him. It hurt to think about you so many years ago, having to go through shit on your own because none of the adults in your life stepped up to take care of you. It was hard to not picture Sarah as a little girl, what she would have looked like trying to fend for herself when she was four or five.
It hurt, too, to realize that you’d been so alone this past week. That he’d been thinking about you and wanting to see you but hadn’t been someone safe for you to come to. He kissed the top of your head again, making a silent promise to himself that he’d never let you feel that way again. That he’d always be the person you came to first, with anything, even if all he could do was hold you through it. He wasn’t going to let you do it all alone, not anymore, not again.
Your tears eased and you adjusted, nuzzling against him, your nose trailing over his throat.
“Feeling better?” He asked quietly.
“Yeah,” you nodded against him and pressed a long, gentle kiss to his neck. “Yeah, I am…”
You kissed his neck again, your lips against his skin for a few seconds, your breath warm and soft. He groaned a little.
“Don’t know if that’s such a great idea, Beautiful,” he pulled you back from him slightly and you frowned, your brows knitting together.
“Why not?”
“Just…” he adjusted himself so you wouldn’t see him starting to harden in his jeans. “Sounds like you’ve had a hell of a week and…”
“But I want to,” you separated from him enough to pull your top up and over your head, casting it aside on the floor and leaving you in a lace bralette. “Please, Joel…”
He wasn’t about to argue too much. He nudged you back on the couch so he could pull your pants and underwear off before he pulled his own down. Before he could even get them fully off you were on his lap, straddling him and pulling at his shirt until it was over his head and on the floor.
Joel slipped his hands to your waist and slid them slowly, gently over your skin, exploring you, feeling you, until he reached the bralette. He pulled that up and over your head before tossing it to the ground and leaving you bare before him.
“Fuck, beautiful,” he breathed, looking you over before kissing you deeply, his tongue teasing into your lips. “I missed you.”
“Missed you too,” you started grinding slowly against his lap, your wet slit brushing against his cock and making him shudder with desire. “Fuck, I wanted to talk with you so bad this week, Joel. You were all I really wanted and…”
“You’ve got me,” he said quietly, kissing you again. “Don’t have to do it all alone ever again, Beautiful. Promise you don’t.”
You nodded and squeezed your eyes shut for a moment before you rose up enough to notch his head against your dripping, grasping entrance. You dropped your forehead to his and your eyes met his own as you slowly, surely, sank onto his cock.
He moaned as you took him completely, fighting to take deep, steady breaths. You felt so damn good around him and he couldn’t help but look down to see where the two of you were joined, his cock disappearing into you. The sight of you taking him into yourself, the way your body made room for him, how you felt around him made him acutely aware of just how close he was to you. He was a part of you like this and it felt like this was how it was supposed to be, you and him together.
His hands ranged over you, up your back to pull you tightly to him and you gave a ragged, desperate little gasp.
“I’ve got you, Beautiful,” he held you tightly to him as you held him inside yourself. “I’ve always got you.”
You started to move over him then, every thrust of your hips delicious and slow, like you were savoring how he felt. You started to tighten around him and he groaned a little.
“Missed you, Joel,” you breathed, your pace increasing. “So, so much.”
You rode him and he was so lost in you he wasn’t sure how long he was clutching you to him, he was too far gone to notice. All he knew in the world was that you were his, that he could feel you so close it almost hurt, that he always wanted to be able to be with you like this.
“I’m gonna come,” you panted, pressing yourself flush against him, dropping your head to his shoulder. “Fuck, Joel, you feel… I’m gonna come I can’t…”
“Come on, baby,” he pressed his fingers into your flesh. “I’ve got you, I’ve always got you, want you to come for me. Come on my cock, baby, want to feel you, let me feel you.”
You came with a strangled cry and stilled as your pussy fluttered around him. He fucked you through it, thrusting up into you three more times before the force of your orgasm was too much and he pushed himself in deep, moaning as he filled you.
He held you like that, your bodies joined and aligned, for a while. Eventually, he relaxed his hold on you and you sat up a little, his cock softening within you. He reached a hand up and threaded his fingers in your hair, his palm against your cheek.
“Next time somethin’ happens, how about we just talk it out,” he smiled a little. “Like this a whole lot more than not seeing you.”
You laughed a little.
“Yeah, Joel,” you smiled. “Next time, we’ll talk.”

“Ow, fuck! Can you be more careful?!”
“I am careful. You just have a shitty pain tolerance.”
“Wow, that’s not something you should say to your first willing client,” you huff, trying not to pull away as Xiao repeatedly punctures the skin of your forearm with pen ink and a not-so-sterile sewing needle. “My family could sue you if I die from a blood infection, you know.”
Xiao rolls his eyes. “Something this small won’t kill anyone. Plus, you came here on your own volition, so stop complaining.”
“Are you saying you’re just going to let me die of sepsis if everything goes to shit?”
“Pretty much.”
You didn’t know what to expect when your best friend of several years asked if you wanted a tattoo of your favorite constellation. It’s been a running joke between the both of you that the two moles on your forearm looked a lot like two-thirds of Orion’s belt, and that maybe, in another life, you would’ve been born with all three of its stars on your skin.
You should’ve known that Xiao likes to blow your expectations out of the water—whether he intends to do so or not.
It’s sundown when he finishes embedding black pen ink beneath your slightly inflamed skin. Xiao doesn’t comment when you repeatedly complain about how much that fucking hurt, and that you’re never agreeing to do it again, but you don’t miss the way his eyes occasionally flit up to the starry sky before shifting to your new ‘tattoo’ as he walks you home.
You don’t think you’ll ever forget that night. How you admired the amateur handiwork in the soft glow of your nightlight while thinking about the boy who gave you a star fashioned with his own fingers where others would’ve given flowers instead.
But then you remember Xiao is nothing but your best friend, and it’s a little…weird to be thinking about him like that.
Must be the sepsis fucking with my head, you muse before flicking off your nightlight, and the room is plunged into pitch black darkness.

You’re eighteen when you realize Xiao is completely serious about this tattooing business.
It comes as a not-so-pleasant surprise to you one day when your high school’s guidance counselor approaches you while you’re hurrying over to your next class—asking if you’ve seen Xiao around these days because apparently, your best friend hasn’t been attending his classes for a better part of the semester.
Of course, you receive the news with a scowl. While you don’t exactly see him all that much at school because of how different your schedules are, you never expected to find out he’s been playing hooky all this time.
You dont particularly like sticking your nose into other people’s business—especially not Xiao’s, since you know how he likes to keep to himself better than most. But for some reason, you aren’t able to resist, and end up calling him after excusing yourself from your two-hour Biology lecture.
Once your classes are done, you head over to a nearby tattoo parlor whose address Xiao texted to you right after you squeezed his whereabouts out of him during that phone call. It’s located in one of the more run-down parts of town that your parents would’ve detested Xiao for inviting you to. But whatever prejudice you might’ve had about the denizens of this district all go up in smoke once you meet the owner herself.
“You should’a seen Xiao practicing with our machines a few months ago!” Beidou, as Xiao had sheepishly introduced earlier, barks out a laugh before slinging an arm around your best friend’s shoulders. “Said there’s someone he wanted to give permanent tatts to. I’m guessing you’re the guest of honor?”
“Beidou,” Xiao groans. “It’s not a big deal. I already practiced on her before.”
You don’t completely catch it when Beidou makes an inappropriate joke as a response to what Xiao just said—eyes trained on the fading dot on your forearm. It’s been two years since Xiao gave you your first ‘tattoo’, and even if the receding ink makes it look like one of Orion’s stars are starting to die out, it’s still there.
“Okay,” you say in the middle of their bickering, startling both Xiao and Beidou in the process. “I’ll let him ink me if he wants to.”
Xiao stares at you with brows furrowed. “You sure?”
No, you’re not sure because as much as you want to support Xiao in what seems to be a budding passion of his, you’re certain that your father is going to kill you when he sees a full-blown tattoo on any part of your body. You barely got away with the artificial mole that Xiao did for you a few years back.
“Positive.” You back your words up with an indignant huff before sifting through the pre-made designs on Beidou’s catalog. “You just have to put it somewhere not everyone can see, I guess.”
Beidou snorts out another jarring laugh when Xiao clicks his tongue to alleviate the embarrassment that’s painting his face just a touch of red.
Earlier in the day, you intended to scold your best friend for not taking his studies seriously, but ended up going home that day with a new piece inked onto the skin of your left hip: a little spruce twig that you last remember seeing in your old hometown—years before you even met Xiao.
There’s no particular meaning behind it, apart from a hint of sentimentality and rebelliousness. It’s your first actual tattoo, and one of your best friends gave it to you, free of charge. Even if it hurts ten times more than Xiao’s novice needle method from two years ago, you end up loving it more than you thought. One time, you stare at Xiao’s intricate handiwork in the mirror for so long that you nearly run late for your first class of the day.
(Another thing that makes this particular piece memorable is the process itself.
Xiao is a person who’s always been startlingly precise in everything he decides to put his head into. When you learned that he wanted to become a tattoo artist, you instantly felt like there’s no other path more perfect for him than this.
Yet you couldn’t help but notice how his fingers sometimes trembled as he gave you your first piece—with you lying chest-down on Beidou’s tattoo chair in nothing but your shirt and underwear. It shouldn’t have been strange. Xiao has seen you dressed down like this dozens of times before.
But when all’s said and done, he refused to meet your eyes, and you don’t have the slightest clue why.)

You just can’t stop staring when you see Xiao’s half-sleeve for the first time.
It’s meant to be a phoenix, he said, but you can’t really see it because the patterns are too abstract to make sense of. Still, the azure ink sits nicely on top of his built bicep, and you have to tell yourself that you’re just trying to find the stupid phoenix as an excuse to keep ogling him.
Thankfully, your weird fascination lasts for only about a week until you’re back to shitting on him like you always do.
By some miracle, Xiao manages to graduate high school despite being on probation from his excessive absences. He’s actually smart if he makes the effort to hit the books, but you’re not sure if he’s planning on going to college with how comfortable he is with being one of Beidou’s most in-demand tattoo artists.
You ask him about his future plans at a party being thrown by the previous captain of the football team in his parents’ lavish penthouse somewhere uptown. It took a great deal to force Xiao into tagging along with you as your plus one, and you’re going to make good on his acquiescence by interrogating him about things he normally skirts around.
“I told you, I didn’t take any entrance exams,” he grumbles against the rim of his red cup. “I’m managing just fine working for Beidou, so I don’t see any reason to go to college.”
You’re about to argue that Beidou’s tattoo parlor won’t be open forever, and that he needs to think about broadening his career options until a bunch of girls with linked arms shuffle closer to where you and Xiao were lounging on the couch. You don’t talk to them a lot, but everyone in your grade knows the infamous Pyro Trio.
“Hey, Xiaooo,” Hu Tao drawls with a smirk, pushing up her sleeve to reveal the branches of a cherry blossom tattooed on the delicate skin of her arm. Behind her, Xiangling and Xinyan snicker like it’s some sort of inside joke.
You intend to shift your gaze elsewhere. Clearly, you’re not the person these girls want to speak with. But the sight of the ink on Hu Tao’s skin makes the back of your neck prickle with misplaced irritation. Xiao must’ve been the one who did her piece, which shouldn’t be a surprise. Though he’s this year’s most notable absentee, rumors about Xiao’s handiwork haven’t gone unnoticed among the students in your (now) alma mater.
That doesn’t mean you have to like the idea of your best friend inking other people that aren't you, though.
You decide to excuse yourself from Xiao’s company—given that Hu Tao is giving him plenty of attention already as is. Your best friend utters something you don’t quite catch as you walk away, and you don’t bother turning around to ask him to repeat himself.
(As you stuff your face with shot after shot, you force yourself to just keep dancing to the rhythm of whatever song is blaring to the speakers. You didn’t give two shits about the fact that Hu Tao keeps feeling up the stupid phoenix tattoo on Xiao’s arm. Nor did you care about the fact that your best friend—who’s normally evasive when it comes to casual contact—seems like he doesn’t mind at all.)
The night ends with Xiao begrudgingly getting behind the wheel of your car, since you’re obviously in no state to be driving anyone home. When he announces that he’ll bring you back to your apartment, you slur out a drunken protest—asking if he can take you to the tattoo parlor instead.
“What?” he asks incredulously. “Why?”
You huff, curling in on yourself on the passenger seat. “The cherry blossoms you gave Hu Tao were ugly as shit. You can do a better piece on me. Y’know, as practice.”
Both of you know that you’re bluffing. Xiao’s pieces are one of the most intricate you’ve ever seen, even if he is a rookie tattoo artist, and that you don’t have a lot of points of reference to compare to. But instead of taking offense at your mindless jab at his work, Xiao slots the keys into the ignition with a defeated sigh.
“Fine. You mentioned wanting spider lilies a while back,” he says before propping his arm against the car seat as he backed up on the street. It’s the perfect angle to moon over his not-so-phoenix tattoo, and if you were any more intoxicated, you would’ve reached out and squeezed his arm.
“Where do you want it?”
You know he meant to ask where you wanted him to put your prospective tattoo, but the question sends your mind straight into the gutter. Thankfully, you still have some semblance of coherence lingering in your drunk thoughts, and you answer with:
“Right hip. Opposite end of the spruce twig.”
When Xiao heaves another sigh and steps on the gas pedal, you don’t think much of it—still convinced it’s completely normal to expose such intimate parts of yourself to your best friend so he can tattoo a fucking flower just above the swell of your thigh.

“You have been watching way too much anime.”
“Come on! At least I’m not having you tattoo the names of my shitty ex-boyfriends on my ass, right? Just give me my modified Tanjiro hanafuda and Fullmetal Alchemist flamel!”
“...Is this your way of coping with taking up a nursing course? Is it that stressful?”
You whine as you hold your phone closer to your ear, already picturing the look of disbelief in Xiao’s face when you asked when he’s free to give you your next tattoos. You still go to college in the same city, but it’s been weeks since you last saw him.
“You have no idea,” you groan. “It’s like my first year, and I’m already burned out! How is that even possible?”
Your best friend grunts on the other line. “Maybe if you stopped being such a perfectionist, then maybe you’ll learn to be more content. Less stress on your part, too.”
“Ah, no can do. I never do anything that isn’t perfect,” you chuckle. “
“Yeah, I saw you score at the top of your class during your, uh… what was it again? Biochem exam?”
For someone who doesn’t exactly give a damn about anything outside tattooing and other similar forms of artistry, you find it endearing to know Xiao actually remembers all the things you rant about in the wee hours of the morning. You don’t hate biochem, but if you have to draw another chemical configuration, you might just pop a vein.
“Okay, let’s say I agree to tattoo those weird doodles you sent,” Xiao propositions, “do you even have any free days? You usually study on weekends, right? I don’t think you’re free to drop by the shop even if you wanted to.”
Fuck. He’s right. You still have a few major exams coming up in the next two weeks. If you wait that long until you get your silly weeaboo tattoos from Xiao, you would’ve already gotten over your momentary hyperfixation on the TV shows that were salvaging your sanity in the middle of the semester. It wouldn’t feel as thrilling to get them anymore.
“I’m free…” You trail off, eyes darting to the digital clock by your desk then to the course notes you have opened on your laptop. You haven’t studied as much as you wanted to for your upcoming anatomy test, but…
“Right now, actually. Can you pick me up?”
You can hear him frowning. “Don’t you have a car?”
“I do, but I don’t wanna drive when I have plastic wrap all over my body.”
“You’re exaggerating. It’s not all over your—”
“Jesus, get the hint, Xiao. I miss my best friend, and I want to have a quiet evening cruise on his motorcycle before he gets me inked again!”
Xiao falls silent, and this time, you’re having some difficulty picturing what expression he’s wearing on his face. You like to think you’ve startled your un-startle-able best friend, but that’s pushing your influence too much.
“Okay,” he says, more agreeable than you thought he’d be. “I’ll be there in thirty. Don’t you dare fall asleep on me.”

When you introduce your first serious boyfriend in a while to Xiao, you’re a bit annoyed with how prickly he’s being.
Sure, it’s wired into his system to be the snarky asshole everyone knows and loves, but if there’s anyone else who knows about the tragedy that is your love life better than yourself, it’s Xiao. When you finally land a decent guy to settle down with, you at least expect him to be a bit more supportive.
“Actually, we came here ‘cause we planned on getting matching tattoos,” your boyfriend, Yin, explains with a dimpled smile. “Isn’t that right?”
You stifle a soft laugh, a bit embarrassed to agree, but too in love with your boyfriend to protest.
A few years ago, you distinctly remember drunkenly rambling to Xiao about how stupid it is to get couple tattoos especially when relationships these days are built on flimsy foundations.
If you break up, what then? You have a physical reminder of that person on your body for eternity? No fucking thanks!
“Sorry, we’re closed right now, as you can see,” Xiao grunts before jabbing his thumb at the sign he just turned at the door. “You can try some other time, though.”
At the time, you were pissed at Xiao for denying your little request. He always agreed to ink you during ungodly hours of the day, but now he’s playing the ‘shop’s closed’ card just because he doesn’t like your boyfriend?
But then, you end up grateful for his attitude exactly a month later.
“Fucking cheated on me with some bitch from his Physics lecture,” you sniffle on Xiao’s ratty sofa as he makes you some tea in his kitchen. “I can’t believe I nearly tattooed our anniversary on my wrist! I would’ve had to fucking amputate it in the end.”
Xiao sighs before placing a piping hot cup of honey lemon in front of you on his coffee table—crossing his legs together. He doesn’t tell you I told you so, like others probably would if they were in his shoes. Your best friend just stares at you with withering understanding, no matter how stupid the choice that got you here in the first place turned out to be.
That’s one of the many things you loved about him.
“You were supposed to have ‘XV’ inked together, right?” he asks.
You huff before tossing some of the soiled tissues you used into the bin. “Yeah. We made it official on September 15th.”
“Well, if you still want the tattoo, you could just give it a different meaning.”
Scowling, you stare at Xiao as if he just grew a second head. “What the hell are you talking about?” Is he really suggesting for you to get the same tattoo that he denied you and your ex a month ago?
Xiao shrugs noncommittally before taking a sip from the tea he prepared for you. “It’s been fifteen years since we became best friends. That’s worth commemorating, at least. Unless you suddenly don’t give a shit about that, too?”
Your jaw hangs agape at the sudden reminder. October 15th. When you were four, you accidentally spilled orange juice all over Xiao’s teletubbies backpack, and when he forgave you on the spot, you crowned him as your first bestie.
That was fifteen years ago. Holy shit.
He startles when you abruptly shoot back to your feet, earning yourself a perplexed stare from Xiao who just wants you to sit down and drink your damn tea—
“Is Beidou’s shop open?” you ask. “I want her to do our matching tatts.”
Xiao grimaces. “Our?”
You nod brusquely, tugging at his arm. “Yeah, I’m allowed to have matching tattoos with you, ‘cause you’ll never walk out of my life, right, Xiao?”
He’s always been a stubborn little shit, so you don’t really expect Xiao to relent as quickly as he does. You nearly stumble to the carpeted floor when he lets you pull him up—faces hovering so close to each other, you nearly choke on your own breath.
It doesn’t help that Xiao has definitely…put in a few inches of height. Back then, you used to tease him a lot for being taller than him, but now?
“Never,” he whispers so softly, you wouldn’t have heard it if you weren't as close to him as you are. “Now drink your stupid honey lemon tea so we can head to the shop.”
About two and a half hours later, you’re sitting on the vacant seats in the shop’s waiting lounge—a familiar sting still sizzling beneath your ribcage from where you had your first matching piece with Xiao permanently inked. You made him swear to have his own ‘XV’ tattoo made on the same place, and he makes good on his promise when he emerges from the workroom, wearing nothing but his dark-washed jeans.
Unlike yourself, you rarely see Xiao in various states of undress. The most skin you could get out of him on most days is the lean muscle of his tattooed biceps, and sometimes those are enough to have you staring dumbly at him for several minutes.
Now, though?
You learn that he has several tattoos on his torso—spread across his skin like patchwork. It makes you wonder if he did some of them himself, or if he had Beidou work on them for him. Still, despite the plethora of new ink stains to gawk at, his weird phoenix tattoo remains as your personal favorite.
Along with the newest piece he got not five minutes earlier—the tattoo he shares with you.
“Are you happy now?” he grumbles, letting you marvel at the perfect roman numerals just below the jut of his ribs. “It’s a good thing Beidou gave it to us free of charge, you know.”
You giggle. “All of my tatts so far have been free of charge.”
“That’s only because you’re special to me,” Xiao sighs before freezing up in the next moment—like he didn’t mean to let that slip aloud.
You smirk. “Mm? What was that? I didn’t hear you.”
“Fuck off.”

06.
Much to Xiao’s disappointment, your shitty taste in men doesn’t exactly end with Yin.
About three months after getting the tattoo to commemorate your fifteen years of best friendship, you meet Kaeya. He’s an exchange student, and you know better than to form any sort of attachment to someone who isn’t going to be in the same continent as you by next year.
But you let him in anyway.
You allow Kaeya to get to know you in ways that not even Xiao is familiar with. The smooth-talking foreigner likes to kiss every single one of your tattoos—lamenting the fact that they’re all inked in spots hidden from view. You laugh every time he brings it up, saying your parents are going to kill you and Xiao if they saw any of the pieces your best friend did for you over the last six years.
“That best friend of yours…” Kaeya muses once he’s done bringing you to paradise and back, smoking a cigarette that makes you wrinkle your nose with distaste. He would’ve been perfect, if only he wasn’t such a chronic chainsmoker. “He’s in love with you, isn’t he?”
You nearly fall off the bed at his bold declaration.
“W-What the fuck are you talking about?” you stammer. Xiao? In love? With you?
Kaeya shrugs. “I dunno, sweetheart. If I was a tattoo artist, I wouldn’t let anyone freeload my craft as many times as you did—even if you are my best friend. Unless I was down fucking bad for you, of course.”
Xiao doesn’t like Kaeya, but the reasoning behind it is a bit different from why he doesn’t like your ex. He knew Yin wasn’t a good match for you. Kaeya, though? The two of you had inarguable chemistry. The only problem was he was a free spirit that didn’t like to be tied down by commitments—something you clearly struggle with.
When you reassured Xiao that Kaeya is nothing but a way to scratch a passing itch, he merely scoffed and told you to do whatever you wanted.
Could his dismissiveness be because…he’s in love with you?
That can’t be right. You’re the one who knows Xiao best. If he hypothetically does catch feelings for someone—much less, you—you’ll surely be the first to notice, right?
Right?
Kaeya chuckles before tracing the XV tattoo along your ribcage with a cold finger—almost like he’s teasing. You roll your eyes before crawling back on top of your midnight lover, kissing him just to shut him up.
When you drop by Beidou's the next day, Xiao is nowhere to be found.
“Didn’t he tell you?” She gapes. “Our boy’s starting his own shop downtown! He had the soft launch and everything a week ago. I was wondering where you were.”
“Uh…”
You’re not sure how to break the news that Xiao has been giving you the cold shoulder ever since you got together with Kaeya. But finding out that he put up his own tattoo parlor without even telling you?
If Kaeya turns out to be right, and your best friend really was in love with you, he sure as hell wasn’t acting like it.
Deciding to play along with whatever game he’s playing, you make an appointment to get a new piece inked under a fake name. Xiao accepts it right away and schedules you for an early evening slot. You make it a point to arrive twenty minutes late just to get a rise out of him.
When he sees you at the entrance to his shop, you almost let yourself feel smug about the unadulterated surprise on his face. Almost. You’re still pissed off that he didn’t invite you to one of the most important milestones of his life.
He fulfills your request in silence—the French word for green inked unassumingly on the underside of your shoulder blades. Xiao doesn’t say a word about his evasiveness, nor does he address the fact that you, his literal best friend, are standing in the shop he’s kept a secret for god knows how long.
When he still refuses to talk, you slam your payment on top of a nearby table—intent on storming out of the building even if he hasn’t wrapped your newest piece in a protective layer of plastic yet. Xiao barks that he doesn’t want your fucking money, and you end up throwing your hands in the air, asking:
“Then what the hell do you want?”
You expected him to blow up in a fitful of rage. He’s never been good at anger management, you knew this well. But instead, he crosses the distance separating the two of you and crushes your mouths together.
“You,” he whispers hoarsely, desperately against your lips. “I’ve only ever wanted you.”
Kaeya calls you multiple times that night—even leaves a text message asking where you are and if you’re free. You aren’t able to answer any of them though. Not when you’re busy being railed into the next life by your best friend of fifteen—going sixteen—years in the same bed that Kaeya just had his way with you a week ago.
When Xiao’s lips graze each and every tattoo he personally inked onto your pliant body, it’s leagues different from when Kaeya does it. It’s like your best friend is leaving a trail of fire sizzling beneath your skin everywhere his mouth trails along your hypersensitive flesh.
Even the way he makes you fall apart from a blistering orgasm is ten times more intense than every session you had with Kaeya and Yin combined.
There’s no affection nor is there adoration in Xiao’s gaze as he fucks into you—golden eyes fueled by something carnal and zealous, but you knew better than to call that love.
When morning comes, Xiao isn’t here with you, and you don’t know which emotion to feel.
Kaeya, at least, has the decency to leave a note whenever he has to depart early. But all that your best friend leaves you with is a sinking feeling in your stomach, and a glaring realization that you did not want to make when you’re crying all alone in your apartment at the crack of dawn.
Kaeya was wrong. Xiao isn’t in love with you.
You’re in love with Xiao, and you immediately know you’re in deep fucking shit because of it.

07.
It’s two weeks into your mission of complete radio silence when Xiao finally breaks.
You’re in the middle of a pharmacology lecture when your phone buzzes in your pocket. You knew it wasn’t Kaeya because he’d already packed his things last week and headed back to his home country. The bastard even asked you for a quick farewell fuck, but you turned him down right away and gave him a kiss goodbye instead.
When you find out it’s a text message from the same person you’ve been trying to avoid all this time, you’re all too quick to parse through its contents.
Xiao: I'm sorry. Can we talk?
That’s how you wind up standing right outside of his new tattoo parlor.
You haven’t been able to take a good look at it the last time you were here—too frustrated with your best friend to really make sense of your surroundings. But he’s put up his new shop in a pretty good part of town. You wonder how Xiao managed to afford it all.
Then again, he’s been working at Beidou’s shop for years. You knew he had a decent number of regulars, as well as potential clients that are highly interested in his work.
For once, you let yourself be proud of him. Even if he didn’t put your name on the guest list for his soft launch.
Xiao looks a little sheepish when he lets you inside and flips the sign on the front door to give the two of you some privacy. You aren’t faring any better. The last time you saw him, he was balls-deep inside of you—fucking you like you’re the most despicable woman in the world.
“So there’s this…collage piece I wanted to try,” he starts, and you fight the urge to roll your eyes.
Of course when Xiao invites you over to talk, you shouldn’t have expected any actual talking to take place. That’s just not his style. He’d rather make up for whatever mistakes he made by inking another stupid tattoo on your body, but honestly? You’ll take whatever you can get.
When you saw his sketch of a Statue of David peppered with four-leaf clovers, you couldn’t even dream of parsing the meaning behind the piece. The only thing that makes you relent is an old memory of you and Xiao hunting for four-leaf clovers in your mother’s garden—even putting the effort to plant whatever you could find in a pot in hopes that they would grow bigger.
It takes him hours to complete the entire thing. This one is probably the most realistic piece he’s done for you, and you can’t help but watch the intense concentration on his face through the mirror on the wall as he inks it a few inches above the last tattoo he did for you.
You’ve never really realized how…breathtaking he looks like this.
His fringe falling across his pretty gold eyes, the comfortable set of his jaw as he focuses on his work, and the soft slope of his cupid’s bow despite how harsh the words that come out of his mouth can be.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
You really are in love with this guy.
When he’s finally satisfied with his work, Xiao puts down his machine before wiping a sheen of sweat off his brow. He already looks so fucking good while he’s working. How is it fair for him to look even more gorgeous right after the entire process?
“Come on, let’s wrap it up,” he says before stretching his limbs. The action makes the cropped shirt he’s wearing ride up his torso a little, and you’re teased with a glimpse of the tattoo he matches with you.
Your heart nearly leaps to your throat, and if it weren’t for the dull sting of your newest tattoo, you would’ve been entranced by the sight of him entirely.
“Sure,” you say, even if your heart is begging for you to just be honest with him. To let him know how you’ve felt all this time because frankly, you can’t keep carrying the weight of your own feelings for much longer.
But then you remember how…apathetic Xiao looked like the night he dared to tell you he wanted you. There was no love to be found in his animalistic gaze, and you fear that he’ll turn you even further away at the slightest hint of more-than-friendly affection from your end.
You can live with this. His fleeting yet heated touches. His deep, piercing stares.
You’ll do anything to preserve what you have with him now—even if that means sacrificing everything else you could still dream of.

08.
Sometimes, you think Xiao is making you hope on purpose.
Sure, your friendship was more or less salvaged after offering your Statue of David tattoo as a quiet apology. You’re back to teasing him for all the most minuscule things, and Xiao is back to being your voice of reason in no time.
These days, though, you don’t really have much time to hang out with him like you usually do. You’re in the last year of your nursing degree, and your shifts at the hospital on top of your regular academic workload render you much too exhausted to catch up with any of your friends. Xiao included.
But there comes a night when he visits you in your apartment when you’re busy studying for a tricky surgery exam—a bucket full of fried chicken, and a bottle of sparkling water in hand. What kind of fiend would turn away an unannounced blessing like that ?
You munch through the midnight snack Xiao brought for you all while forcing him to do your flashcards with you. He knows the drill, anyways. Though he’s been out of school for years, Xiao is still familiar enough with your study habits to be of substantial help during these trying times.
While you’re in the middle of differentiating the different types of sutures, though, he proposes an idea.
“It’s been a while since I inked you with a sewing needle and pen ink, isn’t it?”
You narrow your eyes, taking a swig of your carbonated drink as your gaze flickers to the pseudo-Orion’s belt on your right forearm. The third star has all but faded from view over the years.
“Yeah, why are you asking?”
Xiao rummages through his knapsack for a few seconds before bringing out what seems to be a small sewing kit, and a jar labeled ‘Indian ink’. You gulp in equal parts dread and anticipation.
“I figured out how to make the tatts stay longer,” he says, a gentle smile settling over his face. “You want me to give you a new one? I can even revive good old Orion, too.”
You sigh. Who are you to turn the love of your life down anyway?
Xiao gets to work while you’re lying sideways on your bed, flinching every now and again because he decided to outline the spitting image of the flower vase sitting on top of your nightstand along the curve of your waist.
Unlike your first experience with manual needling, your pain tolerance is much better. The only reason you’re squirming every time Xiao embeds the ink into your skin is because you’re fucking ticklish. All those years of being intimately acquainted with Beidou’s tattoo machine were all the sensory training you needed, it seems.
When Xiao is done with this piece, he pulls you into an upright position, making you hold out your arm so he could resurrect the first tattoo he ever gave you. You roll your eyes, but let him do as he pleases anyway.
At this point, you’ll let him do anything with you.
It’s nearly three in the morning when you’re putting away the dishes and glasses you and Xiao used for the night. He’s kind enough to throw out the trash while you clean up in the kitchen, and when he meets you back in the living room to exchange farewells, you don’t really want him to go.
“You have morning classes tomorrow, right?” he murmurs as he pulls you into a firm embrace, careful not to press down too hard on your new tattoo. “Take care. Don’t burn yourself out too much. All your hard work will be for nothing if you end up keeling over before graduation.”
You can’t help it. The soft timbre of his voice coupled with the fond look in his eyes tears all your defenses asunder. As you look up to meet Xiao’s uncharacteristically doting gaze, your chest twists more and more as you keep yourself from lunging in for a kiss.
“You’re such a pessimist, it’s almost funny how caring you sound,” you chuckle. “Go on, now. Shoo. It’s late.”
Before you can push him out of the door, however, Xiao catches you by surprise when he leans down to peck your lips. You stay frozen in place even as he pulls away—smiling so prettily, you can hardly believe this guy is your perpetually pissed off best friend.
“Good night.”
Unlike the last time he left you all alone in your apartment, you’re filled to the brim with an emotion you can’t quite name. It’s far from the emptiness that made a home in your heart when you thought you were in love with someone who didn’t love you back. But you’re not about to call it happiness either.
Whatever this strange feeling is, you let it sit in your chest for a while longer, and it lingers even when the memory of Xiao’s lips stops prickling against the skin of your own.

On the day of your graduation, Xiao asks you to drop by his shop after the rites have concluded. You tell him that he’s self-centered as fuck, and that this is your day, so if he wants to use your body as a practice canvas again, he’s going to have to wait tomorrow.
You don’t tell him that you’re sulking because he didn’t even show up to congratulate you for surviving four gruesome years of nursing. But you suppose that someone who never went to college in the first place wouldn’t be the best at sympathizing with this particular milestone in your life.
He shows you his latest sketch when you make it to his shop the next morning—and you can’t contain the look of disbelief that colors your features when you realize what it is.
“A bouquet that’ll never wilt,” he chuckles, one finger expertly pointing out the flowers he’s drawn on the neat page. “Orchids and hydrangeas: your favorite. Violets: you press a bunch of these in books every summertime. Pink baby’s breath ‘cause you wouldn’t stop gushing about them at your sister’s wedding.”
You aren’t able to stifle the flattered giggle that spills from your lips. “Can’t believe you actually remember all that. What’s the lily of the valley doing there though?”
“Oh, this?” Xiao hums with one brow raised. “Your mom had lots of them in her old garden. Those are my favorite.”
“And, pray tell, why is your favorite flower going to be permanently tattooed on my body?”
Xiao doesn’t humor you with a verbal answer right away. Instead, he wheels his revolving seat closer to you so that he’s close enough to press your foreheads together. Your breath hitches when his mouth curves into a loving smile you’re starting to get used to seeing.
“Because you’re mine,” he says simply. “Now, are you going to tell me where you want me to ink your eternal bouquet or not?”

10.
You’re a complete sap when it comes to weddings. Everyone knows this.
It’s for that reason that none of your guests are surprised when you end up crying in the middle of exchanging vows with your fiancé. Xiao sighs before taking out a handkerchief from his front pocket, dabbing at the tears streaming down your face. For someone who comes on so tough to other people, you’re awfully sentimental.
“Sorry, sorry—” you sniffle, thanking every single god out there for the invention of waterproof mascara. “Okay, I’m ready now.”
The rest of the session proceeds swiftly. You get to kiss your best friend of more than two decades and call him your husband in front of some friends and family. The matrimonial rites were held in a private resort at the base of a mountain. Both you and Xiao wanted to preserve the intimacy of your wedding as much as you could. After all, you didn’t need all that flashy and grandiose wedding prep to prove to the world just how much you want to spend the rest of your life with Xiao.
Your thoughts stay the same even as he lays you down in the king-sized bed of the cabin you had to yourselves. He sighs in between kisses as he strips you off your wedding garbs. You’re surprised he’s taking his time with you. Xiao has been eye-fucking you since you started walking down the aisle. It was so bad that even Beidou made a few off-hand remarks about the sexual tension during the reception.
“I was thinking,” you breathe as he grinds his hips against yours, “of getting another tattoo. My last one.”
Xiao lifts his head for a moment, one brow arched. “You’re married to a tattoo artist, and you think the tattoo you’re getting after the wedding is your last one? You’re dreaming, princess.”
“Fine. Point taken.” You roll your eyes. “But anyway, I want a dragon tattoo riiiight…here.”
Your husband watches with rapt attention as you guide his hand to the spot you’re talking about—just below the collection of your favorite flowers inked above your waist is a blank stretch of skin. Xiao’s lips twitch into a fond smile as his calloused fingers graze your flesh.
“Still against having showy tatts?” he asks before pressing a soft kiss on the spot you pointed at.
“Mhmm. You see, my dad doesn’t care if I’m married and have my own life. If he sees that I have tattoos, he’s still going to murder me,” you chuckle. “So yeah, tatts are staying under my clothes until he grows old enough and forgets that he hates seeing ink on other people’s skin.”
“I’ll keep that in mind then.”
When Xiao ravishes you for the first time as your husband, your chest overflows with love for him. Not everyone is lucky enough to have their best friends by their sides for as long as you did, yet you ended up tying the knot with yours. Although the entire process was more than twenty years in the making, you suppose there’s no point in rushing anything.
After all, Xiao is as permanent in your life just as much as the ink stains on your body.
“Look,” you chuckle once Xiao is done cleaning up in the bathroom and settles down right next to you on the bed, “Kaeya sent us a postcard. He says congrats on overcoming the emotional constipation.”
“Throw that thing away,” your husband grumbles, pulling you away from the pile of postcards on the nightstand. “Why are you even keeping touch with him still?”
“So I can use him as an excuse to get you jealous, and have you fuck me rough?”
“Oh, princess. If you wanted it rough…” he starts with a sigh, rolling his neck with a smirk. You gulp, wondering if you’ve bitten off more than you can chew this time around.
“All you had to do was ask.”

--Flashback--
Y/n L/n was a personal trainer. Not exactly a cheap one either.
He works with high end celebrities only, having helped A-list names in Hollywood before until moving to South Korea to work with Kdrama actors.
What was supposed to be a quick trip turned out to take a lot longer. Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months and months turned into a whole year.
Due to his stacked portfolio finding work was not hard, adapting to Korea, however, was. But he managed.
One day his agent texted him, telling him about a new client that would be paying an insane amount for his work.
His agent had already set up a meeting and so Y/n had to get dressed to meet the clients.
--Y/n POV--
"So tell me again, where we going?"
"YG Entertainment. It's a Kpop company. The basic idea behind this job is that the boss wants his idols to be healthier and to be fit for their next comeback, and your job is to ensure this happens.", my agent told me as we arrived in front of a very large building.
We walked into the reception and I let my agent do the talking.
I scanned the area and was in awe at the amazing design it had. This to me pretty much meant that their gym would be perfect.
"Y/n come on they're waiting for us.", my agent said
The building was huge, even bigger than it had seemed from the outside. We got into the elevator and stayed there for what seemed like hours.
*Ding*
"Come on Y/n, they're inside that door at the end of the floor", my manager told me.
I didn't know why, but the formality paired with the vibe of this place made me feel anxious. My palms started sweating and I suddenly felt underdressed for the occasion even though I was wearing a suit.
"Well, no matter what, it's too late for anything now since we're here"
My manager opened the door and inside the room I saw four of the most gorgeous women I had ever laid eyes upon.
The one who caught my eyes the most, however, was a small one with cat like eyes.
"Y/n you're staring", my manager whispered at me and I suddenly became conscious.
A slight blush made it's way to my face and by the quiet giggles made by the girls it was evident they saw it too.
"Hello Mr L/n. My name is Yang Hyun-Suk. As you may have been told, we at YG Entertainment have ordered you here in order for you to help my idols with their physical health. The plan is to, hopefully, keep you in our company for different idols, however, we will be testing you, so to say, with one group first.", the man who I now knew as the CEO told me.
He made a gesture towards the four women in the room and they stood up. I couldn't believe they would be my clients.
"Hello we are BLACKPINK. Please take care of us!", they said in unison.
After quick introductions I found out that they were not only my age but also that the one with the captivating eyes was called Jennie.
I decided to take it easy for our first session and just do some general fitness tests. According to YG the girls were supposed to increase their stamina and remain fit. A very easy task if you ask me. I finished up the day by giving each girl their individual diet plan, given the difference in height, weight and calorie intake. Their diets focussed on gaining weight for now, seeing as their promotions and the comeback were still a long time away.
--time skip--
3rd Person POV
BLACKPINK and Y/n had gotten to know each other for a while now, the five of them quickly becoming very good friends due to both the amount of time spent together and the small difference in ages. Y/n was almost immediately added to the girls' group chat and was much more of a friend then an employee to them.
"Alright Jen give me one more", Y/n told her as he moved behind her to spot her on squats.
"I can't-"
"Jen look at me you got this. Whatever happens I'm right here and I'll help you but I need you to continue. Push your limits, if you fail thats fine. The only way to go from failure is up, but to get up you need to fail so take a deep breath and give me one fucking more rep!", Y/n interrupted her.
The three other members, already having finished their workout and currently catching their breath on the side of the squat rack smiled at the situation. Y/n was an incredibly sweet person but he sure as hell could be a pain in the ass if he wanted to.
Jennie took her breath in and bent her knees, her upper body following as she squatted, deep, before pushing her feet into the ground and grunting in desperate attempts of moving the weight up one more time. She gritted her teeth as her hair stuck onto her sweaty forehead, her clothes soaked with sweat and water she used to cool herself down, her breaths being sporadic and irregular, trying everything to get as much oxygen inside her as possible. She looked into the mirror in front of her, seeing Y/n's handsome features looking into her eyes showing a look of reassurance, before she shook her head, indicating that she was feeling the last bit of power she had inside her leave her body at alarming speeds.
Her eyes closed, coming to term with the fact that ahe'd probably fall down with the weight on top of her, before suddenly realising she was not going down but instead going up at a speed she had never reached before. She felt a pair of muscular arms wrap under her arms as she opened her eyes and looked into the mirror, seeing that Y/n had jumped in and was now easily pulling her and the weight up.
He helped her rerack the bar before holding up his hand for a high five. He smiled reassuringly at her, proving that he truly meant his pride in failure from before, before reaching down and giving her a bottle of water. He helped her move towards the bench where the rest of her members were seated before taking out his phone and calling their manager, saying that they were done and that the girls needed a ride.
The gym wasn't at the YG building, at least for now. The YG gym was under construction, as Y/n had quite a few criticisms with it due to lack of machines as well as 'questionable' architecture, as he put it. Hence why YG rented out a nearby gym for the time being. It wasn't that big, but it did the job.
The girls continued catching their breaths before Y/n walked up to them.
"Your manager is coming in like 20 minutes. Traffic is horrible right now. You girls should go change, you'll probably need those 20 minutes to get done."
He went up to them and offered a hand, which all of them gladly took, Jennie being the first one to do so, all thought nobody knew whether it was due to the arm it was attached to or the idea of finally going home.
Y/n walked them towards the changing rooms before sitting down on the bench near the entrance and waiting. 15 minutes later he received a message by their manager, telling him that she had arrived, and just as he stood up, as if on cue, the girls appeared.
Y/n bid each of them his goodbye before watching them go out. He, however, noticed that Jennie went to a different car. He saw a figure get out and hug her before bending down and giving her a long kiss. The manager drove off with the other three as the pair continued kissing and catching up. Y/n got a better look at the guy and realised it was Kim Jongin, or Kai, also known as Jennies boyfriend.
They had never met each other, but knew of each other's existence. And as far as Y/n knew, Kai was not exactly a fan of the girls having a male trainer, saying that it was indecent and whatnot, but being immediately shut down by Jen and the others when he talked about it. He had also been told by Rosé and Lisa that Jennie wasn't exactly satisfied with Kai, which was a bit too much information, but quite hilarious either way as it made his insecurity a lot more understandable.
Nevertheless Y/n went on with his day, finally getting into his own workout. He structured it similarly to how he did it with the girls, which basically meant he worked out the same body parts as they did on the same days, which meant he was doing legs now. He started off with squats, before going on with RDLs and then doing some accessory work. His workout went great and he was very much unbothered before his phone suddenly went haywire with notifications.

>@/jen was Kai on some bullshit again?🤔
lisa🤓
>he looked MADDDDDD😭😭
jisoo👵
>jen is surely dead by now, I thought he would be storming into the gym and try to fight Y/nn
>and who put that goddamn granny emoji next to my name again😒
y/nn
what happened😨<
rosie
>jens man started talking heavy again, talking bout how he wanted to 'have a little chat with our personal trainer' or whatever🤦🏼‍♀️
lisa🤓
>he thinks jen is fucking you y/nn💔
y/nn
WHAT😭😭😭<
jisoo👵
>ikr it's ridiculous, we all know I'd be getting dick first out of all of us
rosie
>alright now take your meds grandma
lisa🤓
>none of y'all can shake ass like I do I think I'd win by that alone
y/nn
you girls know I'm still in this groupchat right?<
jen
>girls...
>kai went through my phone looking for 'evidence' of me cheating
rosie
>oh thats not...
jisoo👵
>did he find anything?
lisa🤓
>omg did he get Y/nn's number?
jen
>no i unsaved his contact quickly lol, all he found was our chats between us four
Y/n put his phone away, having rested enough while also laughing about the absurdity of the situation. He sure as hell wasn't scared of Kai, but then again he was sure idols had good lawyers so he didn't want to risk anything. He also thought about what the girls said before, and realised that his small crush for Jennie never left. How could it, really. She was gorgeous.
--time skip--
A few days had passed since that incident and the group was now once again working legs. There wasn't much that changed in the dynamic of the five, and they regularly laughed about Kai's obsessive and paranoid behaviour, but Y/n did notice something. Jennie had become much more clingy towards him and was a lot closer to him than before.
"Y/n can you help me with this?", Jennie called him out of his thoughts.
"Sure what do you need?", Y/n asked, questioning why she'd need a spot during laying hamstring curls.
"Just, you know how you touch my lats during lat pulldowns so I feel more muscle activation? I want you to do that here too because I don't really feel my hamstrings and glutes working-"
"Jen I don't think it's appropriate for me to touch you like this-"
"Don't be a pussy Y/nn just touch her fucking ass", Lisa screamed from the other side of the gym.
Y/n looked at her before looking back at Jennie, questioning one last time whether she was serious or not. She nodded at him, answering his question, before laying down and starting the exercise.
Y/n sighed before touching her hips with the tips of his fingers, still cautious as to not make her uncomfortable, before realising that she wasn't saying anything against it and putting more pressure on it, just as he would with any other body part.
Jennie finished her sets and thanked him, before following him towards the last few exercises for the session.
Their workout soon came to an end, with Jennie continuously wanting Y/n's undivided attention and touch. As Y/n waited once again for the girls to come out, he noticed three pairs of shoes standing in front of him as he scrolled through his phone. He looked up and was met with Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo.
"Y/nn, we finished already but Jen is taking a while. Manager-unnie will take us but I think Kai is picking up Jennie again. Have a nice day, Y/nn, we'll text you once we're at the dorm."
"Stay safe and don't annoy your manager too much", he said with a smile before waving at them.
Y/n continued mindlessly scrolling through his phone before suddenly hearing his name being called by Jennie.
"Y/nn can you help me with something please?", a phrase he had heard all too often today.
"Sure but are you dressed-"
"Yes, just please come in, I promise it's quick.
Y/n walked in, his hand slowly raising as he prepared to put it in front of his eyes if Jennie were to not be clothed, navigating through the changing room in caution. He arrived and saw Jennie, wrapped up in a bathrobe, smiling at him.
"What do you need, Jen?"
"I can't reach my bag, can you get it for me?"
"Sure"
Y/n walked up and started looking for it in the top shelf, his height easily allowing him to get a good look at it, before grabbing it and turning around.
"Here you go Jen-"
He looked up and saw her, smiling, with her bathrobe on the floor. Her small, perky breasts on display, her visibly wet snatch with a small landing strip looking at him. Y/n tried putting his hands in front of his eyes but Jennie grabbed them, forcing him to look at her.
"Jennie what are you doing, you have a boyfriend-"
"Please Y/nn. Kai? I've been wanting to get away from him. He ain't fucking me like he's supposed to, he's toxic, controlling and I feel so unhappy with him. I've had my eyes on you ever since you joined our company. You got what I want, need and like. I deserve better, and you are better", Jennie interrupted him.
"But you're still in a relationship-"
"Y/nn you have a literal model in front of you, telling you how she likes you and wants to fuck you, and you're worried about that? I'll break up with him, I promise, just give me this, give me you right now. Please?", she said while pouting slightly.
"*sigh* This is a horrible decision but if you're breaking up with him I guess it wouldn't-"
He was cut off by her smashing her lips against his, her hands roaming around his body, tugging at his shirt in hopes of ripping it open, while her tongue forced its way into his mouth.
"You talk too much. Use that pretty mouth of yours for other things", Jennie told him as he broke contact off for a second in order to take his shirt off, exposing goods Jennie had never had the pleasure of seeing in all their glory. She stared at his sculptured abs, his large pecs, round deltoids, muscular and veiny arms, realising why he was such a desired trainer in the first place. She realised just how much his baggy clothes normally hid, her mind wandering off and thinking about what else he was hiding under his clothes.
Jennie tugged at his pants next, grabbing the waistband of both his underwear and pants and pulling them away in one swift motion, exposing inches upon inches of his thick, meaty rod. Her lips, all four of them, becoming exited, her mouth watering as she silently cursed herself for not asking for his 'help' sooner, while also making a mental note to brag to her members about this.
She was pulled out of her trance as her hair was pulled, her face being subsequently pulled up to look at her lover for the night as he smashed his lips onto hers. The pair exchanged saliva, hungrily looking for any form if skin they could touch of their significant other as Y/n put his hands around Jennie's hips, tapping her ass slightly as she got the message and wrapped her long, slender legs around his frame. He walked with her towards the showers before closing the door and turning them on, effectively steaming the room in more ways then one.
Hot beads of water fell down onto his muscular back as Jennie slowly slid down his body and onto her knees, kissing and licking his abs as she did, before arriving at her main attraction, grabbing it by its base and pumping it a few times. She continued by slapping it around her face, comparing it's sizes, then taking her pink tongue out and slapping the large cock onto it. She wrapped her lips around it, fitting as much as she was able to inside her small mouth before going down and coming back up, before going down again, a bit further than before. Y/n took a fistful of her long black hair into his hands, guiding her down his shaft as she slowly coated a large majority of his penis in a layer of saliva. Her right hand played with his heavy balls, which were full of semen, while her left stroked the part of Y/n's dick that she wasn't able to reach.
Y/n threw his head back in pleasure before looking down and seeing black orbs starring at him, her nostrils flaring up slightly before she backed up and released his member with a loud *pop*. She continued stroking him, before standing up again and smashing her lips against his once more. Y/n's hands found their way between Jennie's legs as his fingers played around, teasing her labia while his thumb circled over her sensitive clit. Jennie's hands suddenly went down, too, and took Y/n's away as he heard her whisper into his ears.
"I don't need foreplay, I am wet enough. I've been wet enough for weeks."
Before jumping up and wrapping her legs around his stature once again. Y/n put his hands under her ass, holding her, before turning them over and pressing her back against the shower wall. He then took his member, positioning it against her wet pussy before slowly inserting. The heat was insanity, the hot shower they were in becoming a snow blizzard in comparison, her walls clamping and contracting around him, shaping themselves and forming a perfect sleeve for his member and memorising each individual vein. His hips continued moving forward as Jennie's eyes rolled back into her skull, her hands interlocking behind his neck and pulling him even closer, hugging him in desperate need of something to hold on to. Her legs shook, her power slowly leaving her as the fatigue from training in addition to the thick penis of her lover entering her came crashing down on her like a waterfall.
Her mouth hung open, tongue out as she arched her back in pleasure and ecstasy. This was uncharted territory for her, Y/n reaching depths that none of her past relationships had reached before.
"You doing all right?", he asked
"Y-Yeah just, just give me a min-minute", Jennie said while catching her breath.
Y/n rubbed circles around her back, helping her calm down, before slowly moving his hips in order to get her accustomed to the feeling. Seeing her gradual improvement in living with this sensation of fullness inside of her, Y/n moved faster, his hips slamming into her crotch as the bathroom filled with a mixture of slapping noises, both from the water falling onto the floor and the skin of his thighs slapping against the skin of her thighs. Jennie's voice became higher, higher than it had ever been in any recording booth, her moans becoming louder and more uneven, her breaths became sporadic and irregular, trying everything to get as much oxygen inside her as possible as her body almost exploded due to sensory overload.
Her orgasm came down onto her like a cold shower, contrasting the warmth of the actual shower she was supposed to be having right now, as she felt her whole body tense up and give up, her legs shaking and slumping down, her arms scratching Y/n's muscular back in hopes of clinging onto him, her head falling onto his shoulder as he damn near fucked her unconscious. She screamed his name, loudly, her exclamation echoing in the empty bathroom as her juices sprayed out, coating Y/n's already wet crotch and legs even more. Her walls became tighter, milking Y/n as he, too, reached a boiling point, burying himself as deep as possible into Jennie before exploding inside her and releasing all of his cum into her walls.
They stayed in each others arms for what seemed like years, his cum leaking out of her pretty pussy, falling onto the floor and being washed away by the water coming out of the shower head. The pair looked at each other before smiling, both of them breathing in desperately trying to catch their breath, before Jennie tried to stand up, her wobbly legs making the task a lot more difficult than it should be. Y/n helped her up, like he always did, before the pair decided to shower off the stench of sex and each other's fluids of.
The pair finished their shower as Y/n helped Jennie get dressed again, helping her out and waiting for her ride to come pick her up. He noticed a car driving up and slowly went inside again, Kai soon arriving and stepping out to meet his girlfriend. He noticed the silhouette of Y/n inside the building and decided to 'put on a show', initiating a make out session that was cut short due to Jennie's tiredness. The pair drove off as Y/n began his workout in solitude.
--time skip to later in the day--
Y/n's phone buzzed for what felt like the fiftieth time in the past minute or so as he got out of the shower, this time at his place.

Officially Mine
Nanami Kento x Reader
Slight suggestiveness in the end. Implied Mafia + CEO Nanami. Implied violence on Nanami’s end.
I want to make a series out of this…
(Song Inspiration: Infinity by Jaymes Young)
He didn’t know why but he let the attraction take over him. An ordinary woman that you are, he finds extraordinary. A woman who appears so innocent and pure while he is a man with blood on his hands. A man that plays dirty in his business world.
It has been a year since meeting you. The two of you met on Gojo’s birthday. And because you were close to Shoko, Gojo encouraged Shoko to bring you. It was one of the best days of his life.
“Kento-kun!” you yelled to get Nanami’s attention. Nanami’s eyes turned to you. You giggled and brought a brown bag to his desk. “Your lunch like you asked. You’re lucky I didn’t have a photoshoot today.”
You watched a small and playful smile appear on his face. You always saw his stoic side. He tends to be a man of little words but the more you got to know him, his actions says a lot.
“You would’ve done it for me either way, love bug,” he said. “Thank you.” You blushed.
“Y-Yeah, I would’ve,” you admitted shyly. He watched you play with your fingers. An indication of your shy side appearing or your nerves were slowly taking over. But you were blushing, so he knew you were getting shy. “I’m going to Korea for about a week.”
“Korea?” he asked. You nodded happily.
“I never told you about him!” He glared at the mention of him. “We went to college together. He models and acts and he let me take his photos. Now he’s famous everywhere in Asia! He asked me personally to be his photographer! I can’t let that opportunity slide.” His eyes softened. You were excited and happy. That was all he cared about.
“No, you can’t,” he said softly. “I have some business to deal with over there soon. We can go together in my private jet. When do you leave?”
“Next week.”
“Perfect.” You could hear some possessiveness in his voice. His soft yet venomous tone was subtle. You bit your lower lip. Should you be scared? Yes. But were you? No. “I’ll pick you up, love bug.” You lightly giggled. Another sign of nerves and shyness.
“What business do you have entailed over there?”
“I have a client that I need to meet with personally.” He sounded sincere but it was almost sinister. Nonetheless, you smiled brightly.
“Perfect! Kill two birds with one stone, right?” Nanami nodded. “I’ll be heading out. I need to get my equipment together.”
“Get home safe, love bug,” he said. Pink. You were blushing again. You waved one last time before sending yourself out. Nanami took his phone out and called Gojo.
“Call Jung + Kim Security,” he said. “Tell Mr. Jung to expect me.”
“How bad did they fuck you over?”
“He touched my girl a week ago at the gala.”
“Oh Nanami. Head over heels for a girl that isn’t even officially yours,” Gojo said with a chuckle. “You should tell her how you feel.”
“We are aware of our feelings with each other.”
“Yeah but you two are still dancing around each other. What’s holding you back?” Nanami held on to his phone tighter. He stayed silent. He already knew. You were too good for him. “I know you, Nanamin. You deserve someone like her.”
You were surprised when Nanami decided to come with you to the photoshoot.
“It takes hours,” you said.
“That’s fine,” he would answer.
You looked out the window in the car and smiled. Nanami took a glance at you. He couldn’t help but smile with you. His hand moved over to yours that rested on your lap. You didn’t resist him, so he intertwined his fingers to yours. Your heart raced, fluttering feelings overtaking your body.
Nanami remained by the table that was filled with snacks and refreshments. He watched you fixed the model’s outfit. He watched the model talk to you and watched you laugh. Nanami can feel jealousy envelope all over his body. His glare becoming so intense that the model looked up briefly at Nanami with fear.
“Let’s take a quick break,” you said. You could feel Nanami’s glare from behind. “Be back in ten.” You turned around and walked over to Nanami. You stood in front of him with crossed arms and an angry pout.
“Yes, love bug?” he asked so softly and innocently that you blushed, almost forgetting why you walked over to him.
“Quit scaring him,” you said. “I can feel your stare. You’re getting annoyed. Kento-kun, do you enjoy my attention?” Nanami smirked and stood up. He towered over you and he closed the gap and leaned in closer to your face.
“Of course I do,” he answered. “I just don’t want him flirting with you.”
“Can I tell you a secret?” you asked. Nanami smiled, patiently waiting for you to continue. You leaned up closer to his ear. He thought you were too adorable. “I enjoy your attention, too.” You winked and turned around to get back on set, where your model friend was patiently waiting. Nanami watched, your “secret” replaying in his mind.
I enjoy your attention, too.
Sets were changing. Outfits were changing. You made sure everything was perfect. During breaks, you would stay with Nanami. He took a step out to buy lunch for the crew. And another time to buy coffee.
“Your boyfriend is a good man,” your friend said. You blushed, a little too stunned to say anything back. “We should do a double date one day. My manager said I have to go to a meeting tomorrow. We can do more of the shoot the day after.”
“O-Okay! Just call me,” you said.
Nanami placed his hand on the small of your back and lead you back to the car.
“You love photography,” he said.
“I do,” you replied. “Office jobs aren’t fun. I love my side gig.”
“You should make it a full-time thing.”
“I’m trying. That’s why this photoshoot needs to be perfect. The day after tomorrow will be with the cast on the drama he’s also in. It needs to be perfect.”
“I have full confidence that you’ll succeed, love bug.” Nanami looked at the time in the car. “Do you want to go back to the hotel or explore around Seoul? I have to meet with my client.”
“Drop me off here,” you said. “And then I’ll take a cab back to the hotel. That is, if you’re still gone. Maybe we can get dinner together. I-If you want.”
“I would love that, love bug. I’ll definitely be there.”
A few hours passed. You were worried when you saw him leave his car. His body was very tense. His frown was deep. And the way he kept fixing his tie was uncharacteristic of him. Almost as if he was nervous.
“Kento-kun,” you called. You watched his shoulders slightly relaxed the moment you spoke. You couldn’t help but smile and walked up to him. Nanami chuckled when he saw the bags in your hands.
“You went all out, huh?” he questioned softly when he took the bags from your hands.
“Just a little,” you answered. “I’ve been wanting to use their facial products and I want some make up. Some of their clothes were on sale so I might as well take up on that opportunity, right?” Nanami chuckled and placed the bags in the back seat of his car.
“Of course, love bug,” he said and held your hand. “I reserved a place for us.”
“So I have to wear something nice? I’m pretty casual right now.” The last time he reserved a restaurant for the two of you, you felt very out of place, even if it was just the two of you around. Nanami just smiled.
“I knew you were going to question that,” he said and pulled a bag of out the car. “Change into this. Under my seat is a new pair of heels.”
“Wait! You’re not coming in here while I change!” you exclaimed when you watched Nanami enter the driver seat. Nanami smirked.
“I won’t look,” he said. You pouted at him and all he could do was laugh. “I’m kidding, love. Let me know when you’re done.”
“Thank you.”
Something about you in a silky, sapphire colored gown that hugged the curves of your body just made Nanami’s mind spiral. He kept you close possessively as you two walked to your destination.
“You are a possessive man, Kento-kun,” you said. Nanami smiled at the comment.
“I don’t like anyone touching anything and anyone that’s mine,” he answered casually. You blushed and rested your head on his chest. He pulled you in close to him. “I want to tell you something important tonight.”
“O-Okay,” you said. “Is it bad?”
“It depends how you perceive it, love bug,” he said.
Your eyes widened when you two reached the rooftop. There was one table with two long candles lit up and a flower in between the candles. Nanami pulled your chair out for you to sit and you softly thanked him. Once Nanami sat down, two waiters arrived, pouring the both of you glasses of wine and bringing food on to the table.
“I made sure to serve your favorite,” Nanami said. “Tomorrow we’ll explore around Seoul and you can try more of their food since you have the day off.” You brightened. It was your first time in the country and you were excited to do some sight-seeing.
“So what was it you wanted to tell me?” you asked curiously as you took a sip of the wine.
“You’re impatient, my love,” he said. He loosened his tie ever so slightly and fixed the cuffs of his suit.
“You’re nervous,” you said. Your heart raced and your stomach fluttered when he gave you a shy smile. An uncharacteristic one from him. “Kento-kun, are you doubting our feelings for each other?” Another uncharacteristic reaction. His eyes widened.
“Maybe I am,” he answered quietly.
“What’s there to doubt?”
“That you’re perfect and I’m not,” he said, his eyes burning through you. His eyes were intense. You were mesmerized.
“You speak low of yourself. Very unlike you.”
“All because of you, love,” he replied. “You’re the only one that makes me like this.”
“Is that a bad thing?”
“Yes and no. Everyday I have you in my mind that it distracts me. And I hate distractions. But I love your distraction. You’re a woman so beautiful and sweet that I find it hard to believe that you like a man like me.”
“What’s so bad about you?”
“All the bad things I do.” All you can do is smile slyly as you took another sip of your wine.
“I like to pretend that I don’t know what you do behind closed doors,” you said. “You’re ruthless and an ass to others. Satoru has a big mouth. I tried not to get too involved with you earlier, but I can’t get away.”
“Gojo? Seriously?” You couldn’t help but giggle at his annoyed expression. You reached out and held his hand.
“Kento-kun, you’re the only one who I feel safe around even though I know that you’re a dangerous man,” you said. “And everyday, I think I end up falling more for you that I can’t ignore my feelings for you.”
“How could you love someone like me? I don’t deserve someone so perfect like you.”
“Because I grew up with no love and protection from anyone,” you answered. “And you’re the only one that gets me. You do anything to protect anyone you love. I watch you protect Satoru, Suguru, Yu, and Shoko. And I saw you give that man a killer stare at the gala after he touched me two weeks ago.”
“I hope you know he has no way to touch you ever again,” he said angrily. He was amused. You didn’t flinch or look at him differently. All you did was smile at him admirably and affectionately.
“I don’t wanna know,” you said softly. “But I can’t turn away. I think I’m too involved.”
“You are, love. I love you too fucking much.”
“I love you, too.”
“You can walk away if you want. It’s not too late.”
You stood up and walked over to him. Nanami turned to face you and you slowly sat on his lap. You wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed him. His one arm enveloped you around your waist while his other hand rested on the back of your head. You straddled on his lap and cupped his face. His tongue versus yours. Reluctantly, you pulled away and rested your forehead on his.
“What does that say to you?” Nanami smiled and kissed you again.
“That we should skip dinner and go back to our hotel to have dessert.” You laughed. But you suddenly had a serious look on your face.
“I have one rule with our relationship,” you said. Nanami nodded, willing to agree to anything you need him to do. “I have male friends. Do not, and I mean do not do anything to them. That’s my dealbreaker.”
“They better not take you away from me.”
“Nanami Kento!” Nanami pressed his lips on yours. “Nanami Kento, you’re a possessive man.”
“Remember, no one takes anything and anyone that’s mine. And you’re officially mine.”

Chapter 3: Aftermath - The Spiraling
2 months later
Everything happened so fast as you busied yourself, moving on? After that drink at Utahime’s house, you wallowed in alcohol for about 3 more days and decided you need to get on your list.
Cut your hair (CHECK)
Quitting work. (Well not really because they relocated you to the place you were going and just by chance, Hawaii was one of them–CHECK)
Moving to a new place (CHECK)
You were sitting in a coffee shop that was near your new home and just doing some work when you saw a familiar face. No, he would not be here. But that bun and the peeking side hair… You both saw each other, confused at first but he smiled at you and went to your table.
“Suguru? What are you doing here?” You said surprisingly. This is so unexpected and of all places? What the fuck, universe?!
“Hey, mind if I sit here?” as he put his coffee down and sat. “You look like you’ve seen a ghost.” He laughs softly.
“Uhm, no, I’m just really surprised.” You replied slowly.
“I just landed a few hours ago and had a client meeting. They wanted a vacation home near the ocean and you know how good I am at my job so they chose me to be their architect.” He said matter of factly, “So….this is where you went huh?” He was tiptoeing when he said that. Being careful not to hurt you or anything.
“Uh yeah.” Was all you said. You didn’t want anyone knowing where your new residence is except for your very close friends. Not even your parents or brother or any of your family members knew where you were. After canceling the wedding, everyone in your family except your brother was disappointed in you, especially your dad. He told you guys do that sort of thing every now and then and should have forgiven him. Your relatives were making side comments on how it was your fault he cheated. You were so done with everyone so you deleted all your social media accounts and changed your phone number. Only Utahime, Mei-Mei, Yuki, and Miwa know your new information.  Now that Suguru found you, you were nervous as hell because you’ve been under the radar and you don’t want your peace disturbed again.
Suguru read your mind and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t tell him.”
You looked confused, “Really? Why you guys fought or something?”
“Uh you can say that.” You looked more confused and gave him the side eye so Suguru laughed, “What? Best friends fight too you know? And also, let’s just get this straight, I didn’t like what he did to you. I was..” He looked at you deep in your eyes… you look so tired he thought, “Really disappointed at him.”
You just gave him a half-hearted smile. Of course, he pities you, everyone does. You eyed him suspiciously, “So you really just met me here by coincidence?”
“Yeah, I’m not stalking you. Why would I? Hmm? Except you wanted me to find you?” While crossing his arms. You just laughed softly at him. Hm, that genuine laugh has been a while.
“Fine, whatever.” You rolled your eyes at him.
He smirked at you, "By the way, love your new hair." You just tsked at him and went back to your work.
Since this surprising meeting, you have been seeing Suguru in the same coffee shop atleast 4x a week in the last 2 weeks. You talk about work and how you are adjusting to your life here. He said he’ll be going to Japan the next day but he’ll come back soon again to oversee his new architectural project.
“You know, I’m going to miss talking to you and your eye bags.” He jokingly mocked you.
“Miss me? I’m so boring to talk to and yah! My eye bags are my badge of honour.” You rolled your eyes again at him for the 5th time that day. If you’re being honest with yourself, you have been looking forward to your coffee shop visits. Suguru has been kind of like a fresh breath for the past 2 excruciatingly painful months. He tries his best to avoid talking about anything related to your ex-fiance and you’re thankful for that because you don’t know how much anymore you can handle.
The only thing keeping you afloat for life right now is work and after that you always try to go to the beach for walks and see the beautiful sunset. One time, you took Suguru on one of your walks by the beach because he insisted on dinner (He noticed you lost a lot of weight) but you have no appetite for anything so you convince him to watch the sunset instead. You both sat quietly while the wind was humming gently. He saw tears on your face but you wiped it quickly with your right hand. This must be what you were doing every late afternoon he thought. He wished he punched his best friend harder.
As it is the 2nd week of summer, you and your closest friends always had the tradition of going away for a week to do something together or even nothing. Just to hang out and catch up. This year, of course, they went to your new house to help you get more settled. There’s so many things you still need to buy for your new house and it was just kind of overwhelming for you so you only had the basics for now.
You couldn’t thank them enough as they helped you while you were settling here. Miwa was in charge of helping you find a house right away especially when all you said was just near the ocean. It was your only criteria. Mei-Mei was in charge of getting your car from your ex-fiance’s place and selling it. It wasn’t an easy task but it was a fit for Mei-Mei as Gojo pleaded to know where you are but all she replied was, “And do what? Break her heart some more, slut?” And drove off to the buyer. She was also helping Yuki cancel all your wedding plans. Yuki was able to get all your deposit from the catering and flower shop, thanks to her charms, which helped a ton because you sure needed the extra money.
Utahime was tasked with the hardest one. Your wedding dress. They called you as it was half done and they needed you to do fitting again for some adjustments. She volunteered to get your dress from the shop and the only thing you told her was, “Burn it for all I care.”
The last thing you texted your ex-fiance was, “I’m cancelling all the wasted wedding plans you fucked up. The only thing I need from you is to handle the wedding venue since you paid for it.”
And now you are here, making a small fire with your friends in your front yard, the beach. They said they wanted smores but, Utahime had another plans. She presented you your wedding gown. Holy shit. This was supposed to be your “dress”. The “dress” you were supposed to say yes to forever. It was an ethereal and airy look with lace tube on the top with cute puffy sleeves and silk flowing fabric bottom but there were still missing pieces on it.  You were going to have a beach wedding in Bali but that was all in the past.
“I thought you threw them out.” You said tiredly while running your hands on your hair. They were all looking at you excitedly tho and you were just frustrated, yet again. Utahime just raised her eyebrows at you and smirked. All of your friends' hands were clasped together and looked at you, hoping you’re understanding what's about to happen.
You put your hands on your mouth, “Oh no… No… Are you guys?”
“OH YES!” They all said in unison
“BABY, LET IT FUCKING BURN!!!!!” Utahime yells, she hands you the dress, you looked at it sighing thinking the what ifs and how happy he would see you in this dress but your friends snapped you back to reality, “Girl do the fucking honour!” Mei-Mei nudges you.
Miwa plays ‘Burn by Usher’ and they all said, “Speech!”
You were caressing your dress and tears were spilling out yet again, but you cleared your throat and started singing the song played because there were no words left to say.
'I think that you should let it burn
When your feeling ain't the same and your body don't want to
But you know, gotta let it go 'cause the party ain't
Jumpin' like it used to, even though this might bruise you (No, no)
Let it burn, let it burn, gotta let it burn'
With each song lyrics, you slowly let your wedding dress go and watched it all engulfed in flames. They sang with you wholeheartedly. You all watched as your wedding dress turned to ash. You were also hoping your feelings for him would turn to ashes.
You excused yourself and told them that you were just going to grab more drinks. While you were in the kitchen, you heard a loud ping from your laptop. You forgot to turn off your work email and since you’re on vacation, you were going to turn it off when you saw who it was from.
To: y/n’s email address
Hey Y/N,
Hmm? I don’t know how to introduce myself… This is the circumstance I never wanted to be in but alas here we are. I’m the woman that Satoru slept with. I will not say sorry because I wanted it to happen and I knew he wanted it to happen too. He kept saying he will break up with you but he was taking so long so I just had to do something you know?
Anyway, we are pregnant. I don’t know why I am saying this to you but I kinda felt I have to? He said he didn’t want to be responsible for this but he has to.. So I’m emailing you to ask for your help because you know him best? Please? I don’t want my child to be fatherless. Please, don’t put this to your conscience….
Soon to be mom,
Anika
FUCK!
You began smashing all your glasses/plates, everything your hand falls to and all your friends heard, good thing the fire has been out, and they all ran to you worriedly.
“What happened, are you okay?” Utahime was the first one to get to you. You began wailing again and cursing at him. Miwa put her hands on her mouth, “Oh my fucking god.” And pointed at the email.
Yuki began reading it out aloud. Mei-Mei started cursing with you, “That's it! I will go back to Japan tonight and fucking kill that bitch whore mother fucker!!!!”
Utahime was just hugging you until you fell to the floor. Just when you were about to forget, it all comes crashing back to you. MAKE IT STOP! SOMEONE MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE!
Needless to say, this night was full of alcohol, swearing, death threats from all your friends to your assshole ex-fiancé and his slut. You were just quiet the whole night, done with everything. The fucking gall and audacity of that woman. TO ASK YOU FOR YOUR HELP TO GET YOUR EX-FIANCE TO—- UGH! You couldn’t even. What the fuck was happening? You were trying to get away from him, from all the toxicity but why was life still dragging him back to you?
Your friends were all drunk and passed out in your living room and you were the last woman standing. Your alcohol tolerance upped for sure from all the “numbing” you have been doing.
It’s 6am in the morning and the sun is shining brightly at your house as it is mostly windows facing the beach. You decided to stand up even though you were hazy from all the drinking. You went to the beach and your body started going in the water. You felt numb and lifeless as you walked down the sand. You just wanted this pain to end. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH! There were no tears left and no words were enough to be said. Your heart wanted to sink and stop. You looked at how the water was so blue and clear - fuck, it reminds you of his eyes. You wanted to drown again – to look deeply in his cerulean eyes one more time so you began to walk more, away from the shore. Until water covers all of you. Your body slowly sinks and your eyes close steadily, trying to listen to your heart beat but it won’t start anymore.
Utahime woke up from the sun being in her eyes, she slowly opened them. She got up and began to look for you, “Y/N?” Y/N?” She searched in your room, bathroom, and even in your backyard, but you weren’t there.
She started to panic and she woke up all your friends. They all started to look for you when they had a realization that you might be in the ocean... No, you would not! They all looked at each other with their horrid faces and ran for their lives towards the beach.
As Yuki and Utahime were good swimmers, they both looked for you underwater while Miwa called 911 and Mei-Mei was on stand by to give you CPR. They were losing their shit when Yuki and Utahime came up from underwater and signaled not here. Their bodies start to go underwater again, desperate to find you.
Utahime’s eyes were clouded from crying but she has to find you. SHE HAS TO! She wouldn’t know what to do if something happens to you. She then decides the moment she finds you and you are safe. She is going to kill Gojo Satoru!!
Yuki was waving signals to Utahime saying she’s found you. Utahime swam so fast near her. You were there. Laying by the rock like you’re completely lifeless. SHIT! SHIT!!! PLEASE UNIVERSE!!!!!! NOT MY BEST FRIEND!
They immediately grabbed you and you all came up from the ocean. Miwa and Mei-Mei were holding their breath and when they both saw you with Utahime and Yuki, they were both relieved – crying and hugging. The paramedics were quick to help you three and one of them started to perform CPR. They were all crying and praying to every God that you’re okay. One of the paramedics said to Utahime and Yuki that they did good by finding you right away.
When you started coughing and opening your eyes, all your friends celebrated that you’re alive. They all looked at you hopeful and you just slowly nodded at them, conveying with your eyes that you’re sorry and you’re alive. Utahime lost her balance and started bawling, “I thought I lost you.” Yuki went to her side to hug her.
The paramedics said it’s better to take you to the hospital to check if everything is good with you. You nodded and Mei-Mei and Miwa said that they are going to be with you in the ambulance car but only one is allowed so Mei-Mei said she will go. Miwa said she will just Uber then. Yuki and Utahime will be there after changing.
“Come on, let’s go ‘Hime, Mei texted me, she’s in room 508.” While hurrying up to get Uber.
“No, I’ll be going to Japan. Promise me, you’ll take care of her ‘kay? I won’t be long.”
“What? Why are you going back? Enough of that, let’s just go now to the hospital!”
“No, Yuki, I have a business to finish with Gojo Satoru.” And with that Utahime left on the first flight going back.
GOJO’S LOFT – 10:15pm
Gojo was hanging out with Yuta, Nanami, Shoko, Sukuna, Choso, Todo, and surprisingly Suguru was there. Suguru was actually just forced to come by Shoko and also his friends hadn't seen him after that fun conversation with Gojo so he had no choice but to see them.
They were just drinking and playing Poker with bets.
“HAH I win you fucking fools!” Sukuna celebrates while taking everyone’s money.
“No you fucking cheat–!” Gojo taunts.
BAAAAG! BAAAAG! BAAAAAG! LOUD BANG FROM THE DOOR.
“Are you expecting anyone else?” Choso asks, Gojo shakes his head.
“GOJO SATORU!!!!!” Shoko and Nanami looked at each other and stood up fast. They went together to open the door, “WHERE IS HE??? WHERE’S THAT MOTHER FUCKING MURDERER?”
Nanami was holding off Utahime in her back.
“Utahime? What are you doing here? I thought you’re on vacation?” Todo comments.
“YEAH I WAS! AND NOW IT TURNED TO FUCKING HELL!” Then she points to Gojo, “BECAUSE OF YOU MURDERER!!!!”
“Woah, woah, you gotta chill.” Sukuna intervenes
Gojo was just looking at her stunned. Murderer? What did I do? He thought.
Suguru looks at her worriedly. What the hell is happening?
Utahime was shaking while bawling, “You fucking bring back my best friend!!!!!” She was trying to escape from Nanami’s arm and when she finally did, she went straight to Gojo and grabbed his shirt so aggressively and slapped him so hard that her hands were marked on his face.
Now Sukuna and Choso were trying to hold her back, “YOU FUCKING BRING BACK Y/N!!!! SHE’S LIFELESS!! SHE’S NOT HERSELF! DAMMIT! SHE DOESN’T EVEN LAUGH OR SMILE ANYMORE!! MY BEST FRIEND!!! WHO HAS SO FULL OF LIFE! SHE USED TO BE A HAPPY AND BUBBLY PERSON!!! YOU FUCKING BROKE HER!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HER? ALL SHE DID WAS LOVE YOU!!!” She began to kick Gojo, “YOU FUCKING FIX HER!!!!!! I DON'T FUCKING CARE HOW YOU DO IT! BUT YOU FIX HER!!! YOU…” She was losing strength and she slid slowly to the ground.
All Gojo could do was cry silently and look at her. Everyone was just shocked at what was happening.
In between sobs, Utahime told everyone what transpired and how you tried to take your own life and that’s how Gojo became a murderer in her eyes. Shoko was crying and started to apologize and hug Utahime. Suguru also came close to Utahime and asked him where you are and if you are safe.
Utahime nodded and told everyone that you are safe now. Nanami gave Utahime a glass of water to calm her down but when she received it, she got up and dumped the water to Gojo, “YOU FUCKING MAN UP!!!! FIX THIS!!! HAVE YOUR FUCKING SLUT STOP BOTHERING Y/N!!!!! UGH! I CAN FUCKING BURY YOU RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!” While running her hands in her face and turning it to a fist, she's really holding back. So fucking hard, trying to hold back for her best friend.
Gojo could not even begin to process – you tried to? No, you? He was so ashamed of what he’s done. He doesn’t know what to do first.
“It was all a lie. All that bitch said. It’s a lie!” Gojo stands up and shakes Utahime. She slaps his hands and says, “I don’t care if it’s a lie or not! FUCKING FIX IT!!!!!!” And proceeds to slap his face AGAIN.
Utahime walks out while Suguru and Shoko tails behind her. All they heard was a loud crash when Gojo flipped the table and all its contents came flying and broken.
Utahime didn’t even care what he felt. She did her business and is now going back to you. If you couldn’t do the revenge yourself, she will do it for you because what are best friends for?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hope all of you have an Utahime as your best friend <3

TW// mentions of murder and drugs
You had one prerequisite when Eddie asked you to marry him. Quit selling. You couldn’t and wouldn’t be known as the town’s drug dealer's wife. He promised, and you believed him. You had to. He was your Eddie and he would do anything for you. He’d kill for you if he had to.
He gave his stash back to Rick the day after proposing, and cut all ties to his old clients. You finally felt like you were on the path to a normal, domestic life.
Everything was perfect for the next couple of years. You and Eddie got married in a small ceremony with your friends and family, and had welcomed a beautiful daughter. It was a dream, it was all you had hoped for ever since the day he kissed you in the woods when you were 16.
Then came the problems. Without Eddie’s side business and having a newborn baby, you were having a hard time making ends meet. Luckily, your friends were willing to watch the baby for free while you went to find small jobs throughout the week to bring in some extra cash. But, it still wasn't enough. You didn’t want to leave your friends with the burden of watching your child constantly, so you never got a full time job. Eddie worked as much as possible, but it was hard to find well paying jobs without a college degree.
Eddie said he was going to find a side job, which rightfully worried you. He assured you it was nothing illegal, and he was just going to be helping with sound and production for shows at The Hideout a few times a week.
The extra money was definitely nice. The only downside being that you now saw him less than you used to. He worked at the mechanic in the mornings, came home for dinner, and immediately left for The Hideout until around two in the morning. It honestly was starting to feel like you were a single mother, but you couldn’t tell him to stop. You still needed to survive and take care of your child, and Eddie did everything in his power to do exactly that.
It was another late night for you. Eddie had already left for a show tonight, as you were stuck dealing with a crying baby for about four hours. It was nearing one in the morning when you were finally able to get little Leila to sleep, allowing you to rest and close your eyes for the first time that night.
You weren't sure how long you had been asleep, but you knew it couldn’t have been longer than an hour before Leila was screeching again. You tried to ignore it, and let her cry herself back to sleep until you heard the rush of footsteps coming down the hallway.
“Eddie?” You question into the darkness.
“Hey, baby. Go back to sleep.” He whispers, keeping his face hidden from you as he rummages through drawers of clothes. You figure he must’ve gotten beer spilt on him again, and wanted to change before stinking up the bed. That was until you heard the hoard of sirens racing down the road as Eddie mumbles shit shit shit, throwing his clothes off as he races to the bathroom.
You stumble out of the bed, eyes still heavy with sleep as you look out the window to see multiple police cars parked in front of your driveway.
“Eddie.” You raise your voice louder. You make your way to the bathroom, banging on the door. “Eddie! What the fuck is going on?” You shout from the other side of the door.
You can hear Eddie breathing heavily, panting before responding. “Nothing! Just- just go back to sleep babe.”
Before you have the chance to question him further, your ears are met with loud banging on your front door.
“HAWKINS PD OPEN THE DOOR!” Your heart sinks to your feet. You knew you should’ve questioned Eddie further about his ‘side job’ before allowing him to continue.
“Edward Munson, I swear to fucking god!” You scream, punching the bathroom door before running to the front of the house.
As soon as you open the door, a group of cops rush inside. Looking around, and quite frankly trashing your home. You hold pressure on your knuckles as they begin to throb from the hard punch you gave the bathroom door earlier. You stand off to the side in silence, allowing the police to do whatever they’re here to do.
“Does an Edward Munson live here, ma’am?” You point them towards the bathroom he’s hiding in, and three of them rush over. You didn’t see a point in lying to them when he knew you wouldn’t allow him to get away with this anymore.
“What did he do this time? Caught selling drugs? Rip someone off? Accidentally sell to a minor?” You ask every possible question that could come to mind, but nothing could’ve prepared you for what actually came out of the officers mouth.
“Ma’am, your husband is the lead suspect in an attempted murder at The Hideout tonight.” The officer responds a bit too calmly for your liking. You clutch your chest in your hand as everything seems to go white.
You fall back into the chair by the door as the world around you seems to stop. Murder? No way. Not your Eddie. Not the man you fell in love with at 16. Not the man who told you he was going to marry you within six months of dating. Not the man who sings to you when you can’t fall asleep at night. Not the man who wakes you up with soft kisses to your cheeks. Not the man who bakes brownies for your family and friends on Sundays. Not the man who stops to help the stranger who’s car is broken down on the side of the road. Not the man who you have a child with. Not the man who flies your baby around the house like an airplane. Not the man who gives silly nicknames to everyone in his life. Not your Eddie.
Your brain goes radio silent when time seems to catch up with you again. Looking up to see him being walked to the door with his hands behind his back, the officers holding each side of his arms.
“Baby… I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I didn’t do it. You have to believe me. I love you!” He rambles as you look at him with ice in your eyes. You couldn’t believe he would do this. Put himself in a situation that puts his entire life, your entire life, at risk.
You walk out to the porch as you watch them drag him into the backseat of the cop car. Watching as they drive away, you’re still stood frozen in time. You almost forgot the other officer was still in your house until he speaks up once again.
“He’s going to be placed in custody down at the station overnight until we’re able to do our interrogation. You’re more than welcome to come down and speak with the booking officer on where to go from here.” You nod. “I’m sorry.” He offers a sympathetic face, placing a hand on your shoulder.
“Is Chief Hopper there?” You ask, still looking at a now empty driveway.
“He’ll be there tomorrow morning.” The officer responds.
“Can I wait to go until then? I have a baby, and I haven’t slept and-”
The officer grips your shoulder tighter, now interrupting your rambling. “Ma’am. You can come by whenever you feel like it, or not at all. It’s your choice.”
“Okay.” You sigh, feeling the tears start to creep up.
“You should get some sleep.” He cracks a soft smile, as you do the same. You shut the door behind him as he leaves, before falling to the ground and letting your cries take full force over your body.
“Not my Eddie.”

MISUNDERSTOOD FEELINGS ( Mike Ross x Reader)
Pairings: Mike Ross x Reader Word Count: 3.767 Warnings: Little bit angst but fluff in the end. A/N: Well Hello everyone! I love watching Suits a lot but it was very disappointing to not see much fanfics about the infamous Mike Ross… Well, I wanted to write one, it may be not that well but I tried my best. English isn’t my first language but I hope you enjoy it!
Tumblr media
Last night, as you walked to the apartment you were living, the exhaustion was too intense to fighting back. Well, you worked too hard on a file with Mike Ross. He needed a hand of researching a file about one of Harvey’s super rich clients. Since you finished your work, it was okay for you to help Mike.
You found him quite interesting actually. Working crazy hours, trying to memorize everything, every rule, every clients needs; he was just doing it smoothly. One time, you got to experience it, Louis Litt was giving you a hard time about a case he gave you. Well, you never run away from a fight, so as he was pressuring you about reading thousands of pages and the due date was the day after, you were just feeling overwhelmed as fortunately, Mike Ross, the “genius puppy” came in to the library for rewriting a report, then he saw you.
Basically you were under the pile of papers as you looked like you were trying to survive for tomorrow. “Are you alive?” He jokingly said to you as you two were the only ones in the library at this hour of evening. “Well, Louis Litt gave me these files and he said,” You changed your voice as mimicking Louis, “Y/N, finish them all, I need it by the morning.” He smirked at the impression you made of Louis Litt. “He can be pain in the ass.” He whispered that.
“He’ll fire you if he hears that, careful.” He smiled. “I’m Mike, by the way, Mike Ross.” You looked at him as you smiled softly. “Well, Mike Ross, you have quite a reputation around here.” He furrowed his brows. “Can’t help it, I guess I am awesome?” *He smirked and sat in front of my chair. “You are cocky. Anyways, I’m Y/N L/N.” He looked at my eyes and smiled. “Do you need any help?” He offered gently.
For once, you hesitated to say something. Because it has always been like that. You do the job, you work too hard for it but right now, a help would be appreciated. You thought. “If you are not busy, any help would highly appreciated.” you looked at him with a wave of relief.
He turned a file to himself and began to read it with full focus. That night, you ordered a pizza and read, checked all the laws and other documents. He was indeed, brilliant. As he memorized everything just by reading it, you whined sadly.
But truly, he helped you sincerely and without him you wouldn’t probably sleep at least three hours. That night a friendship began to sprouted between the two of you.
As you remembered the sweet meeting you two had, a smile formed into your face and you tossed the keys on the counter and you walked hazily to the couch. Before you could get up and went to your bedroom, the sweet sleep took you surprisingly and you drifted off to sleep.
Yeah, the snoozed alarm rang again as she woke up and looked at her phone, you realized, it was 07.50 a.m. Well you were late and you overslept! Fuck, you sweared.
Since your apartment door wasn’t that complex and big, you hurriedly moved to your bedroom and changed your clothes to something else. Usual formal outfits. Then you went to the bathroom and washed your face, brushed your teeth. Fortunately you didn’t do an eye makeup yesterday so you didn’t struggle to clean your face.
After walking back to the living room, you took the files and put it on your pack. Then you are out. You walked so fast and sweared yourself to wear heels, then you called a cab, fortunately there was an empty one.
By the time Y/N arrived to the firm, the clock showed 09.00 a.m. Well, she was 10 minutes late to the meeting but she thought she would be later than that.
After she walked out from the elevator, she looked around and ran through the hallway. As she entered the conference room, she saw Harvey and other clients. Then she heard someone calling her name. “Y/N, where have you been?”
Mike said to you in a little bit worriedly. “I’m so sorry Mike, here, the files you were searching for. Well, I have found them but it was too late so I overslept, I’m so sorry.” He thanked you quickly then entered the conference room. You caught an eye from Harvey Specter himself. You felt terrible about it, after Mike went inside, you turned your way to the associate room.
You saw Donna, as you were walking past in the hallway. “You alright?” She asked you curiously. You looked at her a bit worriedly. “I am good, why?” She looked at you emphatically. “Well, you look a little bit messy.” you closed your eyes for a moment trying to not feel embarrassed. “I overslept unfortunately.” She smiled at that expression. “It’s okay, come with me.” She looked at you sweetly.
As you followed her down to the bathroom, you saw the state you were in. Your hair looked messy and your face looked a little bit bad. “Here, have my mascara. It’ll look good on you.” Donna offered you her mascara. It was a kind gesture so you appreciated. “Thank you, Donna.” You tamed your hair and then you put a mascara on your eyes and then you put a red lipstick on your lips. You didn’t understand why she was so nice to you actually. You were associate and she was Harvey’s secretary.
“Us, girls, stick to each other.” She replied softly. You looked at her as you smiled. She looked like a cool person you thought. “So, Y/N, how have you been?” She said. “I don’t know, Louis pushing me really hard these days… How are you doing with Harvey?” She smiled. “It is always usual, now that we have Mike…” She looked at you longly. “Well, he is a copy of Harvey, so double trouble for me.” As Donna said it you giggled. “He is nice.” You said abruptly. Donna raised a knowingly eyebrow. “Nice as what?” She said it curiously.
You looked at her carefully. “He is smart and helpful so…” You bubbled the words as Donna’s gaze was on you. “That doesn’t answer my question.” You looked at her. “What was the question again?” You said it smoothly. Acting like you haven’t heard her you ignored it. She smiled. “You are cute, I think we are gonna be friends.” Donna said. Then she continued.
“I think you should talk to him about your feelings.” You looked at her confusedly. “What?” You froze for a moment. “Well, I know you harboring a crush on Mike.” Now, you looked very embarrassed and also amazed by Donna. “How did you know?” She smiled. “I’m Donna, I know everything.” She looked at you confidently. But you waved her off.
“Sorry but that would be highly unprofessional. And I have a lot on my plate.” You waved her a goodbye and you left the bathroom.
As you entered the bullpen, you walked to your desk and started to work on some paperwork. After thirty minutes, you felt someone approaching to you. It was Mike. You looked up and saw him. “Hi, how was the meeting?” He looked at you. “Well, if you hadn’t show up with the files, we couldn’t able to got them.” I looked at him sorrowfully. “I’m sorry again Mike, for being late…” He looked at me sympathetically. “It’s alright, don’t worry.”
As he began to say something else, Louis came to our side. “Ladies, let’s lower the talk and get back to actually working.” I lowered my gaze, as Mike sent my way a wink, he walked to his desk, unfortunately, Louis called after him and asked his presence for his office.
Due to all the paperwork you were writing and the case you were dealing with, you didn’t realized it was around 08.00 p.m. You stretched your back and got up from the desk.
You got up and decided it was enough for today. When you took your purse and walked to the elevator, you thought about Donna’s words. It was bold of her to assuming it and actually commenting on it. Yes, she may be right about it but it was just a silly crush. Nothing worthy of giving the thought a shot.
So you stepped out from the elevator and as you walked away from the firm, you saw Mike, as he was talking with a woman, whose had a blonde hair. She was shorter than him, tinier. They were talking briefly and as your gaze never fell out from them, the next thing you saw surprised you.
That woman’s lips were on his lips in the next minute. As you saw it, you turned your head back and closed your eyes briefly. Oh, fuck. The tears… You felt the tears brimmed sharply in your eyes. As you were too stunned about the idea of having a silly crush, had affected you this badly. That it dwelled tears in your eyes.
You sighed and quickly walked away from the sight. Great. You went inside a cab hurriedly and by the time you arrived to your place, you felt horrible. How the hell he affected you like that? Also, how could you have not see the fact that he had a girlfriend? You thought all about it. As you lay down on your bed, these messy overthinking thoughts run all over your head.
The next morning when you woke up, you put on a navy blue dress. You brushed your hair and went to bathroom to do basics of routines. After you entered your bedroom, you quickly put some jewelry and took your coat and badge.
As you were leaving your place, you called a cab and went to the firm. It was just nothing’s new.
After you stepped into the elevator and walked to your desk, everything was same. Dull and boring.
Nothing’s new. Same paperworks, reviewing case files, contacting clients and do some shit for Louis Litt.
However, you saw Rachel Zane, stepping into the bullpen and with that charming smile of hers she welcomed you. “Hey, Y/N, how’s your day?” She said softly. “Racheel.” You empathized. “It’s same as always, what’s up?” You said it. Then she leaned on you. “Harvey’s expecting you in his office. There’s a case, he would like to see you.” You felt confused for a moment. “I’m not his associate, that’s weird.” Rachel smiled.
“I guess Louis doesn’t know about it.” As she said it, you got up and giggled about her comment. “I guess so.” You replied then walked to Harvey’s office. You knocked on his door softly. “You wanted to see me?” You said softly as you walked inside, Mike was also sitting.
You didn’t glance back at him, however, you could feel his curious eyes all over you. “Okay, L/N, well, Jessica gave me a pro bono case and she asked me to work two associates on it. Since you are pretty good at what you are doing, I’m gonna give it to you and Mike.”
Then you looked at Mike, briefly. As your eyes met, you changed your glance into Harvey ever so slightly. “Okay, sir.” You said firmly. Well, what a conundrum. Yesterday night you saw Mike with a woman, as they shared a kiss and now, you’ll work him on a case. A pro bono case.
When you left Harvey’s room and walked to your desk, you sweared you were going to explode. That meant you were going to spend the day with Mike Ross. The guy you had a silly crush but turns out he had a girlfriend. What a tragedy.
As you looked at the computer in front of you, you looked so off. Then Mike approached to you slowly. “Y/N, what’s up?” He asked as he looked confused. “Nothing, shall we look at the file?” You turned your head to him and looked at him briefly. He furrowed his eyebrows but he didn’t comment on your behavior change. “Okay, so there’s this man his name is Josh Morgan, he is claiming that his wife died because of moles in their apartment.” You looked disgusted and sad. “Ugh, that must be suck.”
He agreed on that. “Okay, so let’s go and talk to him.” You said.
-
After you two came back from the client’s apartment, Mike had to debrief Harvey so, he left you. As two hours passed and both of you were in the library, looking for any complaints about other residents in the apartment, you didn’t catch Mike’s gaze on you. “What do you think about?” He said softly. You didn’t look at him as you replied with a small voice. “Nothing,” You furrowed your brows. “Something’s bothering you.”
When he said that, you looked at him immediately. “What?” You replied fast. “Did something happened? You seemed off today.” He said sympathetically. You shrugged him off with a small gesture. “It’s fine, really. I was just tired.” Yes, you were tired but he shouldn’t have known the silly feelings you had and the heartbreak you felt.
He chuckled to himself. “If I hadn’t know you better, I would have said you are sad.” You looked at him as you raised an eyebrow. “It’s bold of you to assume that, Mike.” You said it nonchalantly. Then after looking back at the papers, he was about to open his mouth but you cut him. “Here, look!” You showed him a paper. “This was a complaint they wrote back 6 years ago from Mr. Morgan’s former tenant. It says, the house was molded when they were moved in but the landlord said nothing about it and he even covered up about it.”
You showed Mike the rest of the papers, as you two got up and walked away from the library, you two planned to pay a visit to the former tenants house. You two could find something with that.
As you called a cab and headed into the building of the former tenants, the road was silent.
Mike and you got off from the car, you walked side by side. After you payed a visit and finding out what happened, turns out there was more residents felt uncomfortable with mold and their health issues.
Doing another research about the case you two were dealing with, you and Mike found a way in the case, it could turn out to be a class action.
But first, you gotta do an undercover. Well, the situation you felt wasn’t help at all but pretending his wife for an undercover investigation, well, what bad could happen? At least that’s what you thought.
You two called the apartment’s owner and set up for a meeting about the house for rent. Mike and you arrived in front of the apartment. As you two saw the landlord and stepped inside the apartment, you felt a bit uncomfortable. Knowing that there were molds inside the house, it was disgusting.
“Yeah, just like we talked. My wife and I look for a new place to move in.” As he gently squeezed your hand, you pretended to smile. “So, I believe you two are in the right place. Our houses welcomes families into a big and warm place. Where you can feel safe and comfortable.” He said effortlessly. Bastard, you thought to yourself.
“No doubt, well, her mom begged me for a change actually.” Mike said it as he smiled. “She said she didn’t want to see her daughter anymore.” You laughed at that comment, well, you felt embarrassed and also wanted to kill the man next to you that gently placed his hand on your back as he was caressing it. It felt so natural, for you to lean on his touch however, you couldn’t lose your mind. So you turned back and looked at the mirror, while you were looking at the window, you saw the radiators side of the wall.
Mike and you left the place after you finished talking and observing the place. After you left the place, you felt bad. “Did you see the mold in the radiators wall, It was ugh.” You mumbled. He agreed with you.
After you two turned back to the firm, you sent Harvey to the files. Well, there was only thing left back is that, bringing this to the court.
You waited a day, and after preparing all the paperworks and other stuff, you were ready for the hearing.
-
After that successful court hearing, the apartment owner and landlords offered a settlement and with that, you two gave the terms of your settlement and with that both of the sides were agreed and it was a good day.
You and Mike did a good job. It was like you two synced incredibly well and even Jessica agreed on it in some way you didn’t knew. However, it didn’t help the situation you were in. After that night, pretending even a slightest of his wife, it made you feel like a wreck inside.
You wished it. You wished to be his, but it would never happen anyway…
After that day, Mike offered you to go out for dinner to celebrate the win but you decided to declined it unfortunately. You said to him that you weren’t feeling well maybe of mold but that wasn’t true in slightest bit. And Mike, he was a great observant.
Nothing’s new, you thought. With your feelings about Mike and that girl you saw before, you felt green. Which you hated that.
As the shift of yours ended, you went to your house. To sleep away and maybe drink something for a little celebration. When you entered your house, you changed your dress into some causal house-fit.
After ordering a pizza from your phone, what you didn’t expect was a doorbell ringing. As you got up and went to open the door, you weren’t expecting to see Mike Ross, standing in front of your door. “Mike…” You sound confused. “What are you doing here?” You were genuinely surprised.
“We need to talk.” He said it briefly. The look of determination and worry in his eyes made you feel guilty. “Come inside.” You said softly as you gestured him inside.
Mike came inside and you looked at him. “Why are you ignoring me?” He said. You closed your eyes for a second. “I’m not.” You tried to got away from it. “Yes you are. I don’t understand, why?” As you looked at his deep blues, you felt bad. He looked desperate and hurt. “Mike, it’a complicated okay?” You said it in a whisper.
“It doesn’t matter, I wanna hear it.” He said firmly. “Did I do something wrong?” You wanted to scream yes, however you stayed still. “You didn’t do anything wrong. It’s not about you.” You looked at him. “Then what is it?” He asked genuinely.
With hesitation, you looked at him. You felt the fear of rejection and you felt afraid of losing a friendship you two had. But you couldn’t deny it anymore. It hurt to think about it.
“Do you have a girlfriend?” You asked.
“What?” He sounded genuinely surprised. He wasn’t clearly expecting this question.
“I saw you with a girl, you two were kissing.” You said it coldly.
Ah, the look on his face as you said the words, he furrowed his brows for a moment. So it was true then, you thought.
“She isn’t my girlfriend. It’s not like that.” Now, you felt a bit angry and confused.
“What do you mean it’s not like that?” You said it bitterly. He approached to you slowly. “She is my friend-“ You cut his sentence. “So you kiss your friends like that, wow.” You said it sarcastically. He felt genuinely confused about your remark.
“Y/N, no, I-“ He paused. Then he looked at you deeply. Well with that moment you felt too anxious for your own good.
“I want you to ask something, and please be honest with me.” He said it as you felt your heart was beating very fast. “Are you in love with me?” He said like he was desperate for an answer.
You paused.
And that moment, whole of your body shivered and you felt scared. “What difference would that make if I say something?” You admitted as you lowered your gaze down. You didn’t recognized that he was approaching to you slowly.
“It would make a difference for me.” As he said it, you tilted your head up and looked at him. Now that seeing him so close to you, your cheeks blushed into a light red. “Mike, I can’t- I can’t say it.” You felt horrified, but, the way his hand caressed your cheek, you felt your legs went numb.
“She kissed me, and it meant nothing, nothing to me.” He said it with a whisper. He was looking directly into my eyes. “Because my heart is already belong to someone else but she’s too oblivious to see it.” As he said these words, your cheeks flushed more.
“And well, the woman I love is standing right in front of me but she is too afraid to admitting that she loves me too.” He smiled softly to you. When you heard his words, you closed your eyes for a minute. All of this felt like a dream, not reality.
But it was real; he was standing right there and he was indeed admitting his feelings for you. So you did an unexpected move and you kissed his lips.
As you kissed Mike’s lips, you have never felt alive like this before. Kissing his lips felt so safe, holding by him felt like as if you suddenly came home while running wildly from something else. The way your lips moved in a harmony, it felt too natural.
When you parted away, you looked at him softly. “I love you.” He grinned like a kid, as you said that three word.
Then he hugged you softly after you two shared another sweet kiss.
Well, you could’ve get used to kissing by him.
