if i had a nickel for every time beloved fictional characters sacrificed themselves to save others this week, i would have two nickels- which isnt a lot but its sad that its happened twice
The fact that Mayday was only in one episode and has had such an impact and become one of the most important clones.
He was supposed to have that impact, of course. His name was showing the clones are crying out for help at this point, that they need saving from the Empire, whether that be from cruel treatment, forced retirement without benefits or any ideas for where and how they should live and what they could do next with their lives despite not knowing anything but war, or literally being experimented on--the clones need help. Mayday's story is that plea, and it gets bigger and bigger with his absence, that empty space that used to be a person. And Crosshair cares so much. He's the reason Crosshair is where he is now, but it was also because of the Empire. There was no hope for Crosshair (though there is now), and the clones, without help, have no hope.
I'm @theharrowing fangirl. If no-one had gotten the hint. Please, come suffer and get hurchy (if you don't already) in their page. It's TOTALLY worth the time. They are awesome!
"astarion is a traumatized abuse victim who deserves kindness" and "astarion is a mean rat bastard man who would rip out your throat for a corn chip if he felt like it" are two statements that can and should coexist
call me a jealous hater but it makes me so mad that i will never ever be able to sleep as comfortably as a little kitty cat, there's too many bones in me!! even at my most comfy i will never get on their level
