🔖 Are you named after anyone?

Nope, I’m an original Insecta. As original as you can get with a name like Firefly. My brother and I are named after compound name bugs, which means they aren’t true “flies” or “hoppers”, unlike something like a Bumble Bee with no compound--Uh. I’m talking too much. Next question.

🥀 When was the last time you cried?

Whoa, this got personal real fast. Uhhh, I guess when I was a kid. I don’t remember, I usually don’t cry. It’s a waste of time.

👶🏽 Do you have kids?

What the hell are these question Hoppy?! I’m like 16, not 30. What did you look up? “Top 15 interview questions”? Oh. You did. You are SO not good at this...

🙊Do you use sarcasm?

All the time. My parents say they’re fluent in it because of me.

👀 What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their shoes. I like a good sneaker. OH! And teeth. I think it’s cause I have braces, but I can’t wait until mine are shiny and straight.

🧿 What’s your eye color?

Dark brown. I wish I could say just black...

🎞 Scary movies or happy endings?

Scary movies, 100%. Everyone in my house is obsessed with happy, sappy endings. My aunt and uncles are more my speed with the bad horror movies.

✨ Any special talents?

I know how to play guitar and the piano. Grandpa wants me to follow the family’s artistic streak, so I get to skip extracurriculars and stay home to practice. I also make a mean bowl of Goopy Carbonara.

📍 Where were you born?

In boring New Crest hospital. All these legacies legends born all over the world and I’m from a generic starter town.

🌱 What are your hobbies?

Guitar, hanging out with kids at my school, getting into mischief. The usual teenage stuff.

🐾 Have you any pets?

No. This house is a strict prison and we’re not allowed to have any fun, so pets are out of the question. Something about “you kids lacking responsibility”.

⚽ What sport do you play/have played?

I used to play a lot of soccer with my Mom, since she was on Foxbury’s team. I don’t play as much anymore...maybe only when my brother begs me to, haha!

🌵 How tall are you?

No idea. If I guesstimate...I’ll be taller than my Mom for sure, she’s tiny. (Note: there are no sim height differences so...sigh)

🎨 Favorite subject in school?

I hate school. It’s just another way to babysit kids, there’s not a lot that I’ll actually learn that’s gonna help me later in my life. I guess history is okay. I like learning about all the discoveries we’ve made. Also, all the mistakes.

🍀 Dream job?

To be famous. Either with music or just by being my self--I’m going to take the world by storm. Good thing I’m in a legacy. Should be a piece of cake.

I don't really have any idea on what I should say here. Sorry the shading looks kinda ugly. No. Very ugly. I was trying to do the whole thing about how it is very dark and the redstone is giving light. Though my lighting sucks.

I don't want to make this post short though. Um. Sorry I had to use minecraft stuff again cuz I can't draw pixel art. That is much harder to do. If I were to do it, the items would look funny.

Hi lol

You may know me from my main blog! If not, that's okay. I have been a creator (writer and artist) and OC enthusiast for roughly 8 years. I have a 'meet the artist' thing, but technically it's outdated (I am older now, the art is older and I look slightly different) so you can have my sona instead!

Uhhh, hey haz, you prob don’t remember or know me, but I used to have my own spade queen oc with my own ask blog a while back. (I think you actually acknowledged em at some point) (Big dress with the spade mouth if that rings any bells)

I was too shy to interact with ppl all those years ago and I’ve since moved on from posting on tumblr (I don’t think I even have access to my accs), but I felt nostelgia and remembered your blog and came to it to check it out and wanted to say that I always saw you as an inspiration for art and stuff. I love your art and how you make stories with your characters for people to enjoy.

I also totally get how you would’ve felt encountering the queen in chapter 2 btw. As someone with my own headcanons and oc it did give me chills when I saw the official thing. I’d like to say that even though it feels like the character you built up is not as popular now that there’s a confirmed canon, people still love the character you made and your interpretations of em!

I think you could totally make your own thing with your own audience! I hesitate to use the term “AU”, but I as well as others would love to continue following along any stories you make.

(Actually, I sorta assume you already have something like this this in mind which if thats the case cool! or if not thats cool too!)

Regardless, I’m sending this message just to say I think you’re hecking epic, and that the stuff you make is good and has value to ppl.

Maybe you’ll keep queenie’s story ongoing or move onto other things, but I’ll be loving what you make regardless!

Oh…..thanking you, that does look familiar. (please don’t mind her, she’s not a very touchy person to most)

I do in fact have plans for an AU, since I can’t bring myself to ignore canon for the sake of something else I’ve already done that contradicts it, so hopefully it’s appealing to the fans of Chapter 2 as well as my veteran followers from Chapter 1 (whoever’s still here, anyways).

It’s not easy leaving behind what I started, but so far I’m enjoying the new things that I have yet to put out, and hopefully, others will too.

Favorite color: I've got no idea! I'm really not attached to any specific color, I like yellow, I like wearing dark red, my room is all purple, so idk tbh!

Currently watching: the fam's been watching a show called Upload lately, I've enjoyed their depiction of a capitalist hellscape subscription-culture future, it's got this mix of on-the-nose bleak dread and genuinely funny humor. But I've still got mixed opinions on it, because the writing can feel really inconsistent. Sometimes the commentary and characters are insightful and nuanced, and sometimes they're suddenly vapid and bland. The tone can jump wildly in between episodes to the point where I've wondered if I've missed an episode, characters' motivations doing sudden 180s, stuff like that! But overall, a fun watch

Last Movie/TV show: great british bakeoff let's gooooo (I need to step up my baking skills this show makes me so HUNGRY)

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: ALL OF THEM!! At once, even! like my favorite curry from a thai place I really like!

Current Obsession: uhhh tbh I don't really have one at the moment? Even the ocs are at a light simmer at the moment, I just haven't found anything really engaging to suck me in in a while

Last thing I googled: "Tomme de Savoie cheese" you can thank @rainia for that LOL, she mentioned it and I looked it up cause I was curious, and then I spent the next half hour scrolling through a specialty cheese website and thinking about all the many cheeses of the world and how much I love cheese and how much I want to spend my paycheck on absurd amounts of fancy cheese

Uhhh I think I'm up to like 20? Maybe more.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

Oh man no idea, most of what I write I upwards of 2000 words so best estimate is probably close to 50k? Probably more.

3. What fandoms do you write for?

I've written for Code Vein, FF14, Trigun, Naruto, an IF called Perfumare, one called something mansion? Can't remember the full title, and a choice of novel called Wayhaven. There might be more, this is off the top of my head.

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

I probably would, if only so people can feel acknowledged and to let them know I appreciate them reading and commenting!

Most of them, I get bored pretty easily and I'm terrible at endings so I kinda just. Leave 'em.

Dialogue I think. I'm pretty good at OC concepts too and research especially if it's period pieces.

Description, hands down. I'm terrible at it. And movement between scenes but also like movement in general. Always feels clunky.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

I'm with Zombie on this, I love to read it especially if it's translated at the end since I don't speak other languages beyond English.

N...aruto I think. I wrote a lot for that when I was younger but that's all lost to the aether. I've been in the Naruto fandom since I was like, 11.

Uhhhh idk I'm pretty attached to my Code Vein ones! They got me back into writing.

What book are you currently reading? Brisingr (for those who’ve never heard of it, the third book in the series Eragon starts). I’ve read it few times before, but it’s been a while since I last did it. Still love the series. Also there’s Mariel of Redwall, with which I’ve been stuck for more than six months now. It is dangerous to re-read a book for a millionth of time when you remember that oh no, next is the part you don’t care about.

What’s your favorite movie you saw in theaters this year? I only went to see one movie in theaters in 2022 (yeah it’s already 2023, shut up), and it was Sonic 2. I did go see it 3 whopping times, so it’s pretty safe to say it’d be my favourite even if there were any others.

What do you usually wear? Uhhhh hoodies, fitting tank tops or t-shirts, loose pants. Colors vary, mostly black but there can be others.

How tall are you? 169cm.

What’s your Star Sign? Do you share a birthday with a celebrity or a historical event? Libra. I do not know, Trafalgar Law from One Piece is close enough to a celebrity for me.

Do you go by your name or nickname? I choose to think this refers to irl, so name. My dad is literally the only one to ever call me nicknames or pet names.

Did you grow up to become what you wanted to be when you were a child? I never really wanted to be anything but a tango queen when I was a kid, and that was when I was 4 or so. So, I guess ‘no idea’ came true.

Are you in a relationship? If not who is your crush if you have one? Nope. Also no crushes.

What’s something you’re good at vs something you’re bad at? Uhhh I guess I’m kinda good at drawing and writing? Maybe? Good is such a vague term. I do enjoy those, and I think that’s more important than being ‘’’good’‘‘ at things. I am bad at playing any instruments. Too many things you’re supposed to do simultaneously with your body.

Dogs or cats? Cats!!!! Dogs are also good, but cats make me more stupidly happy than any other creatures I’ve met.

If you draw/write, or create in any way, what’s your favorite picture/favorite line/favorite etc. from something you created this year? I have drawn some pretty good pictures this year, but I haven’t posted them online and I don’t feel like doing that now either. I do enjoy one undead wolf knight thingy I drew. I also like (still partly wip) doll’s bed I made a lot. I have written a lot, but isolating a single line is impossible.

What’s something you would like to create content for? Currently I’d like to doodle all of my favourite One Piece characters, but we’ll see when I’ll get to that. I have also been redrawing my oldest ocs with the same kids’ color pencils and other stuff as 20 years ago, and it’s been lots of fun. Overall I wanna work on my original projects more.

What’s something you’re currently obsessed with? Stardew Valley and Sonic Frontiers. Too bad I already completed the latter, I am waiting for the dlc’s to come. Also obsessed about my original projects.

What’s something you were excited about that turned out to be disappointing this year? Dissapointment is for those who do not know how to keep their expectations and excitement realistic. Jokes aside, I am honestly fairly good at being realistic about things I’m interested in, and it is a very rare occasion I am actually dissapointed about something I was excited for first, and it didn’t happen in 2022.

What’s a hidden talent of yours? It wouldn’t be hidden if I told you, would it. Tbh, I have no idea. Organizing material things maybe? Keep your timetables and whatnot away from me, but let me rearrange those messy drawers and closets of yours.

Are you religious? Nah. I am slightly spiritual pagan of my own brand though.

Whats something you wish to have at this moment? Does not-ill body and mind free of constant anxiety count? If not, then Freedom Planet 2 Switch port would be nice, but that won’t be out before next summer.

Aww yiss. If anyone is interested, this is about Cayden, who can be found in my posts tagged as his name or more generally pathfinder.

This is gonna be long because I'm unable to write short answers. Also I have no idea how to add a read more on mobile, so uhhh, have fun xD

2. What was your original concept for this character? How did playing them change that concept?

The whole creation story is full of randomness tbh. I wanted to try playing a face and had a rogue half prepared for that, but the GM told me to maybe not play a rogue again, so I changed my mind to a sorcerer. A friend was creating his first character ever then, and he wanted to be a typical wizard, so I looked for less combat focused options for my sorcerer and we lacked a healer, so I found that there is a unicorn sorcerer bloodline that knows healing spells and has some nice healing powers. This was my first sorcerer, so I looked for guides and turns out that gnomes are super recommended. I decided on looks and even gender when having fun in heroforge. Thought it will be super funny if a gnome that's gonna be unicorn themed will also be pink and a man. It's a little freaky how he became a serious character that took over my entire brain for more than a year now, considering how he came to existence. Gnomes, man, it must be something to them, this shouldn't've worked. I'm so glad it did tho. Even his name was super randomly chosen, as back then the party was supposed to be 3 people with others joining later, and we thought it would be hilarious if we make some kind of acronym from character names. The word "CYC" (tit would be the same in English ig) appeared, so I looked for male names beginning with C. Found Caden, thought it sounded nice, so I told the GM it's gonna be it. And he went ooooh if you spell that differently, he could be named after a god of beer in Pathfinder. I liked the spelling better, I liked the connotations, boom xD

As for his character, I remember that he was supposed to be more crazy (whatever that means, my first sketches are more mischievous looking), but after writing his backstory and actually starting playing, I think he just stayed pretty much the same. Also the rest of the party put the bar pretty high for the craziness/unchainedness level, so I automatically assumed a more mature approach to compensate lol

I wish I was better at roleplay tho, because it's really hard to try to come across as someone who is by design comfortable in most situations, talks smoothly and is confident and flirty when I'm not and I don't even know how people like this are supposed to act, so I can't even try to pretend hhhh

I just hope that the rest of my group knows how I want him to be, cos we don't really talk much about character stuff outside the game (I wish we did, but it appears that I'm the only one who's been raised in the whole OC culture and I don't even feel very comfortable around some of the people outside of the game hhhh)

11. if they have a pet or animal companion, how do they spend time with them? if they don’t have one, what sort of animal would they be interested in raising, if any?

In one of the first sessions we saved a young black cat, so Cayden had a pet for a few weeks. Named the cat Rybiarz xd (Fisher?) because he said he liked fish (speak with animals hehe). Cayden left the cat in the inn we were staying in, because the inn keeper became our friend and the cat liked it here, so Cayden decided he's not gonna drag the poor cat along with him on the two month journey and who knows what next. If he could have a pet, I see two ways. Either some magical beast, lika a faerie dragon (not really a pet tho, cos they're sentient, but I mean the vibe), something that would be comfortable being on the move, possibly something matching his own energy, or even helping him seem even more attractive to others. The other option is some kind of animal that can swim (and climb?), because the boy Can't Swim. The last session ended in the middle of combat, where Cayden spent 3/4 of it under water, as the fight was with a water elemental which raised the water level and submerged everyone. And this was not the first time something like this happened xD And with him being so smol, he starts having problems when there is like 0.5m of water and if the water covers him, it boils down to waiting for someone to fish him out. A trained animal could solve this problem xD

As for spending time with the pet, it would probably be just playing with it and chilling together. Maybe if it was some special creature, he would be taking it with him to some social situations and play harmless tricks on others, or try to impress others with it, depending on the situation and mood.

28. do they collect anything?

He currently finally got his hands on a Mnemonic Vestment he's been saving gold for, so now he's focused on collecting as many magic scrolls (and possibly spellbooks, generally written magic) as possible, because the Vestment lets him cast one spell per day from such a source using his own spell slot AND not using up the scroll itself. This is super good, because Cayden as a sorcerer has a lot of spell slots, but a very short list of spells known. A new era just begun for him hahah

44. what lies do they tell others?

This is a hard one. I'm not great at creating characters that have many aspects to them. Cayden is pretty honest anyway, and talkative, so every one of his friends probably knows almost everything about his past and about him generally. He had to tell a pretty serious lie in the past and he only confessed to maybe two people (all just in backstory). It was about how the father of his first girlfriend died. He was killed by a unicorn, when he tried to kill it for its horn. The father was hunting magical creatures in secret, so his family didn't know anything, but he wanted Cayden to help him with the "business", as the relationship with his daughter was becoming serious. Why he thought it was a good idea is a mystery, as Cayden's family's past involving a friendship with a unicorn was pretty well known. Cayden helped the unicorn escape, but not before the other gnome shot at it with a crossbow. The unicorn charged and impaled the man with its horn before teleporting away. After spending the night crying his eyes out and trying to make sense of this whole situation, Cayden brought back the father's body back to the family and lied that the man was killed by someone with a spear who tried to mug them, before he managed to scare the attackers away using magic tricks.

I think, more generally, hypothetically, Cayden would lie about his own well being, for example if it meant others wouldn't waste time on him and would be able to save themselves in a critical situation. He would lie to make others feel better if he knew there was no way to help them and if he knew that showing confidence and being optimistic would raise morale of everyone else.

As for non serious lies (I'm not even sure it counts for the question), sometimes his gnome nature comes through, and he's tempted to just mess with someone by telling obvious nonsense information when an opportunity arises, or creating illusions. He doesn't have a heart to leave someone confused for too long though, so most of the time he clears thing up pretty fast.

And of course he tells lies in typical adventurer stuff situations. False names, motivations, all that. "I'm so sorry for shooting color spray in your face I panicked, I just didn't want you to cuff me, I'm on your side I swear, I want to help deal with those people demolishing your holy stairs, I won't be able to do that while magically handcuffed!" *Insane bluff check* *promptly escapes the moment he sees an opportunity*

Currently we're trying to infiltrate some kind of a drug cartel criminal underground, so there is a lot of bluffing involved xD

51. what element of their backstory are you proudest of?

The elements my GM basically wrote for me xD

I'm not the strongest writer, not even moderately acceptable writer, so I needed a little help. We all generated backstory events when creating characters and wrote based on what we got. I couldn't think of a conflict that involved telling a lie motivated by love. This is the one above, about the unicorn. The other backstory element is to rationalize how Cayden got out of his country that was surrounded by enemy nations currently at war I think and travelled through almost half the continent to the Pathfinder lodge in Absalom. I decided he's going to go by water, sailing near appropriately named Isle of Terror. Sure the name is not nice and there are some terrible stories surrounding the place, but near the shore there are real people actively looking for vessels trying to cross the lake. Turns out Isle of Terror is no joke and during a terrible negative energy storm everyone from the crew died, if not by the storm, then finished off by a shadowy creature, and Cayden barely survived this only thanks to hiding in a barrel, and plot armor I guess (it's a backstory after all, and a random event due to my decisions to go this route).

Other than that, I kinda like the part about Cayden even having the bloodline powers he has. One of his ancestors/parents had to have some kind of closer contact with a unicorn and I decided it's gonna be his mother. Before he was born, his country was at war with basically every neighbour and Cayden's mother was helping refugees by hiding them in a dense forest near the border. She impressed a unicorn living there with her determination and pure heart and they formed a strong bond with the unicorn protecting it's forest against unwanted invaders, but allowing shelter for the needing. During those efforts Cayden's mother met his father and after the war, Cayden was born. Later, when he grew up, it turned out that some of that unicorns magic/blessing passed onto his mother and became apparent in him.

I know it's cheesy, but that's about the peak of my writing/storytelling skills xD

For someone that is 52 years old, my boy has a surprisingly uneventful backstory, with 40 years of living peacefully in his village with both parents, having a traumatic experience, and then going out to see the world, hearing about Pathfinder Society on his first big stop and making it his dream to join them. I described his journey basically by coming up with partners he had romantic relationships with along the way and elaborating a little what happened during these stops/stages of the journey. Now I face the joy of meeting this characters as NPC's one day, oof, I didnt think this through. We even met that first girlfriend already. (it was ok, but super stressful, but also super sweet at the end)

For this particular oc, I think MK and Macaque would be the best matches for her.

Here's why.

This match is a bit more based on personality, but Aruna and MK would be a lovely couple, both possibly getting into shenanigans at times.

Now this part may be a lil inaccurate, but I can see Aruna as seeing Tang as a good friend, or acquaintance at least.

Perhaps one day, Tang would show her Pigsy's noodles, or she's a regular. Either way, that would be how she meets MK, a worker at Pigsy's Noodles(and adoptive son of Pigsy).

From there on, MK and Aruna would go on to become great friends, always finding each other in curious and unique situations, unto which friendship would turn into something more.

MK would love love *love* how kind Aruna is, and would probably look forward to seeing her and bombarding her with hugs and affection.

Of course there could be an awkward moment as to where MK could be trying (and failing) to be flirty, using a... rather cheesy pick up line, and Aruna would just shoot a pick up line right back at him.

It wouldn't even have to be good to get this man flustered, because he'd be all *holy heck she flirted back?? Uhhh.*

You can get a general idea of what a scenario like that would be like-

MK, even if not much of a fan of a certain topic, would certainly try to peek over her shoulder and take a look at what it is she's a nerd of. Books? The moon? Oh, *mythology*? This man's curiosity is easily piqued!

Plus, if Aruna ever mentioned how she likes the moon goddess, and was even blessed by her, oh honey Arunas got a storm coming-

MK will definitely tell her about how he met Chang'e and stuff, and what she's like if Aruna asks. Wait, Aruna was blessed by Chang'e? With a singing voice? Could he possibly have the amazing chance to hear Aruna's singing voice??

Would absolutely love Aruna, and bring her along with him on adventures and simplistic dates whenever he could.

The two would also find themselves in the kitchen at times, Aruna showing MK some recipes on how to bake, and MK showing Aruna a few recipes he got from Pigsy!

Oh, that would mean both Aruna and MK have some sort of connection to a god! More things in common for this curious and lively couple!

Now again, his feelings would be oriented towards Aruna's personality.

As a lover, Macaque wouldn't quite care about the looks or popularity of his s/o, as he'd just look for someone who wouldn't ever leave his side, and would always stay with him.

Seeing as Aruna has a good singing voice, meeting the 'Six-Eared Macaque' could go a couple of ways.

1 - Macaque one day hears Aruna's voice with his six ears, and gets interested in the voice, leading him to try and figure out where it's coming from, would eventually see Aruna, but fail in leaving the scene and crash land near/on her.

2 - (Again- this is mainly based around Aruna's singing voice, I get the feeling she may like theaters and such, I apologize if this is inaccurate) Aruna decides to go to Macaque's theatre, and over time Macaque has his interest piqued, and the two get to know each other some more-

3 - Anything else you think would fit your oc. :)

Now, onto the relationship.

Macaque would be more of a guy who uses his words to show his affections, but would eventually go on to trust Aruna more and allow her to bombard him with hugs(at times) due to how kind she'd be towards him despite how he can be.

The man would absolutely love to hear her singing voice, although he wouldn't admit that unless it costed something big-

Really though, the minute Macaque learns about Aruna's singing voice, he'll consider asking her to sing for him. And thinking she does, that's it.

Macaque is someone who has.. a good amount of abandonment issues due to his past and what happened between him and Wukong.

Nothing would ever be able to explain how happy and grateful Macaque would be.

Don't expect him to admit that though.

That isn't it either.

Now, Macaque isn't exactly a master chef.

He probably knows recipes mainly centering around plums, but not much else.

So, that could mean that occasionally, at a time when Aruna is baking, Macaque would sneak up on her, or be beside her, and either a, help her, or b, ask to taste test when she's done.

Plus, on a thundering day, Aruna and Macaque could stay together reading or doing another activity in somewhere cozy, both having the other to comfort them from the lightning and thunder going on.

And when the storm would end, stargazing, or taking a good look at the moon would be a rather nice date for the two.

All in all, Aruna and Macaque would be a sweet couple, with their differences and similarites.

Well, I've been a hardcore Morgyn stan since realm of magic came out, I don't know I just really wanted something that honored them and was funny thus Morgyn Ember Is A Genderfluid Daddy was born

why did you start your blog in the first place?

I started this blog purely to organize and chronicle my edits. I had absolutely no idea how big the sims editing community is and had no clue that one person would like my edits, much less almost 200. I'm really grateful that I did though, I've made some incredible lifer friends and this has really given me more confidence in my art. I'm very thankful to you all for that

My current icon (find it here) is an edit I did of three of my OCs I did for pride month, I think this might arguably be the best edit I've ever done so it will be up there for awhile lol

Lmao I stay away from the drama, I know that there's a lot going on in the simblr world with certain people ahem but I stay out of it. I've made it very clear that I absolutely do not support hate or exclusion or anything else for that matter. That being said I am not afraid to block a bitch. I don't understand why so many people come on here to spread hate? Like everybody is literally on here to get away from reality for a bit, why do you want to be a dick? Like I get random anon hate sometimes (no, I will not turn off anon) but I mostly ignore them or post them because I think it's kinda funny? I don't know I have tough skin and I'd much rather those people waste their energy on me than anyone else.
