ngl as someone with The Memory Issues TM the smaller 'adjustments' to the game canon that larian makes kind of bug me on a level beyond being annoyed that it feels like this is just part 2 of the beta. when i replay it, am i remembering a part of the game wrong, or has something really been altered? like to be clear i'm absolutely not sitting here accusing larian of gaslighting Me personally or anything because that would be ridiculous, but it just feels sort of bad knowing that i can't really just reference something with absolute certainty unless i'm pulling up like. scripts & code diving & comparing patch notes.

i do agree some things need to be changed (quality of life, bug fixes, the really glaring parts of wyll's arc where you can absolutely tell something is missing/cut [was the bulk of that in the upper city? & for that matter, why does his route seem to have so many intersections with karlach that don't go anywhere?]), but that makes up maybe 1/4 of the alterations & i feel like even that's being pretty generous.
